Deb, Jamie, and Reverend Steve are the absolute best! I cannot even put into words how much we loved our wedding and the entire experience! We were treated like family the entire time! Everything was so easy and smooth and stress free because of the organization and communication and professionalism of these 3 people! They truly went above and beyond what we ever dreamed for us and I couldn’t be more thankful! They made our dream day an absolute actual dream! Everything was absolutely perfect and every detail taken care of for us so we didn’t have stress at all. Dep took so many amazing pictures and again went above and beyond for us, she made sure every memory was captured! Jamie made our beach bonfire a huge success with the perfect music and a memory I’m sure no one will ever forget! Reverend Steve was the most personable the entire time from the time we met him till we said our late night goodbyes, he truly cares and you can tell by the way he talks, he truly made the ceremony one of joyful tears and heartfelt messages! I wouldn’t do anything different and do not regret for one second who we chose to put our special day in their hands. We truly have made friends for life! Thank you so much to the three of you! I’m not sure we could ever thank you enough for how amazing you made our special day! -

Amore Beach Wedding
We recently had the pleasure of entrusting our wedding plans to Amore, and I must say, they exceeded all expectations. I was an out of state brde which added a different level of stress, Destin has many beach wedding companies and I looked into several of them but knew as soon as I found Amore that I would choose them. Despite planning everything from out of state, the team at Amore made the entire process seamless and stress-free.
From the initial consultation to the final execution, their level of professionalism and attention to detail was remarkable. They listened to my vision and went above and beyond to bring it to life, offering valuable suggestions and guidance along the way.
One of the standout qualities at Amore is their genuine care and concern for their clients. Despite the distance, I always felt supported and reassured throughout the planning process. We needed to make some last minute changes a few weeks before the ceremony and they were responsive to all my inquiries and proactive in addressing any concerns, making me feel confident about everything. I had the pleasure of interacting with the owner Jamie, our coordinator Robin, our officiant Steve and our photographer Savannah. Everyone was so kind and truly invested in making our day special.

Overall, my experience with Amore was nothing short of amazing. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in search of a wedding planner who is not only professional and efficient but also caring and dedicated to making your special day truly unforgettable. Beach Wedding Ceremony
Everyone with Amore Beach Weddings is wonderful. We had a perfect wedding day thanks to their help. Deb made the whole process so easy. Our day was absolutely perfect and stress free. Deb listened to every need and want I had. She took my vision and made it 1000% better. We are so thankful for them. I can’t wait to see the photos!! -

Dream come true
Debbie, Steve and Jamie truly made my dream come true on our special day. It's literally like heaven sent them to bless us. They arrived early answered our questions and walked us through the process of vows, sand ceremony and the tying the knot ceremony so my husband and I felt comfortable in what to do. It was a beautiful sight to see. The flower and plant arrangements were absolutely stunning. The team went above and beyond for our arbor and we are truly grateful because the pictures came out spectacular. We just had the ceremony today and we can't wait to see the result but from what we saw off of the camera I'm already impressed. The beach, sunset and joy in our eyes was captured perfectly and I can't wait to see the final result. Last but certainly not least Debbie kindly called us a few days prior to the ceremony for some final details including music selection. I asked for Elvis music because I am a huge fan. I got the surprise of a lifetime when I found out Jamie was an Elvis impersonator and showed up at our ceremony and kindly shared a dance with me. I can't thank them enough for a PERFECT day. I strongly recommend working with Amore!!! -

Jamie was super responsive and answered all my questions. He was early to meet the morning of our wedding. He had the area setup so beautiful and we didn’t have to mess with anything as he took care of everything for us. ❤️ We choose the simplest package as we only had our kids stand at our wedding and no guests. Thank you for giving us piece of mind as you accepted to do our wedding less than two weeks ago! The photos are beautiful that you captured of our family will be amazing memories for us to cherish for life❤️ -

Jamie and Katie went above and beyond creating and capturing my dream wedding! They were flexible and extremely helpful while planning our wedding over the phone! It is quite disheartening trying to put your faith in people you haven’t met on such an important day, they made me feel comfortable every step of the way! Unforgettable and Very Special!
Everything was as expected. Decorations were beautiful for our beach Vow Renewal and Katie did an Amazing job! It was extra special our children and grandchildren were there and included in the ceremony. Would highly recommend them. 😊❤ -

Our experience with Amore was a mixed bag. The location, amenities, setup and take down were fantastic. Also appreciated that the Owner was responsive to our questions and requests. Both the Owner and our Coordinator were pleasant and easy to deal with.
Not everything went smoothly, though. The DJ was an unmitigated disaster. Went off script from the playlist we had prepared. Kept referring to my wife as "Miss"; Worse, we were never asked how we wanted to be introduced (She kept her name). The ceremony itself was a bit disorganized (we asked for a "dry run" and were told it wasn't necessary) and our flower girl and ring bearer (8 and 9 years old, respectively) also went a little off script. Nothing huge, but a run through would have been helpful. There were a couple of things about the reception that were less than ideal. We weren't asked whether or not we wanted to let guests begin eating while we took pictures (we did), so guests sat around for almost half an hour doing nothing (kind of a big pet peeve of ours after waiting at other people's weddings) while we took pictures. There wasn't great coordination with photographer (she was great, however). Overall more a 3 out of 5 (DJ would be a zero). There were also a couple of major delays in communication during the planning phase that caused some needless stress. In Summary:

If I could give zero stars, I would
I had an extremely disappointing and stressful experience with Amore Beach Weddings and Jamie Bates. I paid a $999 deposit in good faith after being told a wedding coordinator would be part of my package and would reach out once I booked. Shortly after paying, I learned there was no designated wedding coordinator and that the role was being filled informally by a family member. (Imagine being an out of town bridge and learning this information after) This critical information was not disclosed prior to payment and would have absolutely affected my decision to book.
When I attempted to cancel immediately after learning this, I was unable to reach Jamie for a few days. Once we finally spoke (less than 30 days after payment and before any services were performed), I was told I would only receive a refund if someone else booked my date — which could take months. This is unreasonable and unfair, especially since my cancellation was due to undisclosed information.
Since then, I have experienced deflection, delays, and refusal to take accountability. This entire situation has caused unnecessary stress during what should be a joyful time.
Brides: please be extremely cautious. Ask very specific questions and get everything in writing before paying anything. He presents himself as a Methodist pastor, which gave me a sense of trust and reassurance. Sadly, the way this situation was handled did not align with that expectation.
