Beautiful wedding despite COVID

We didn't know what to expect when we got married during the COVID pandemic but it was an amazing experience and the wonderful people at American Photography captured all of our incredible moments. The pictures are art. The video was a beautiful reminder of the big day. Thanks Julie and team for taking care of us during these wild times

Wonderful photographer

I spent a lot of time finding a wedding photographer. As soon as I met Julie and her Staff I knew that’s who I had to go with. She did our Wedding. They worked soooo hard and made you feel absolutely satisfied. They gave you confidence and made the shoot so comfortable. They were there when we were getting ready and blended in great. They didn’t make you feel like you couldn’t be yourself because the camera was in your face. You didn’t even notice them. They did chime in at the perfect times and would offer assistance for many things. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of photographers and videographers. So thankful and happy with my choice.

Couldn’t ask for anything better

Julie and her crew were so amazing during my wedding. They calmed my nerves and gave all the instructions for poses. Very professional and the final pictures, albums, and video were superb. Highly recommended!

I Love their work. Julie and her assistant Steve were very kind and professional with me and my wife. we were able to see our photos on their website in two weeks. our package came with two albums that we gave to our parents (which they love sooo MUCH!!! and made the perfect gift and surprise ;) Julie had emailed us the designs of our albums for us to confirm, which I appreciated. our wedding video was amazing. my wife shows it to all her close friends that come to our home.

American photography and video are the BEST!!! My husband and I are so grateful for Julie and her team for capturing our special day. The quality of the pictures and video is amazing and their use of technology is worth the money! They are so professional and their presence made everyone feel so comfortable. I am VERY impressed with the quality of both the photos and the service I received from American Photography & Video. The money we paid for our video and pictures was more than worth it. Julie was an amazing photographer, and she captured every moment of our special day. The photos turned out stunning, and our video was very well done. 10 out of 10 would recommend this company!

They have been very helpful. I was very pleased with the Quality of the pictures. I would recommend them. I wish we got the video too. They are going to do my sisters wedding in September and I told her to get the video. The price was most reasonable. Both parents are happy about having their own album and loved the pictures.

American Photography and Video truly did an amazing job capturing moments from my September 2015 wedding. I worked with Julie to take care of my Bridal portraits and she was accommodating, professional, and responsive to my many emails, calls, and questions--something EVERY detail-oriented Bride needs! Steve was the photographer on my actual wedding day and he was early, made some time to get to know me and my wedding party, and put my mind at ease by taking every image you see on "images to give your photographer for your wedding." While I did supply a list, he exceeded it by taking pictures I never thought of. He was Professional, funny, engaging, and on his feet the whole night! Pictures were ready for me to view less that 2 weeks later! The American Photography team truly put my mind at ease by being professional, responsive, on-time, and accommodating to a paranoid Bride like myself! Further, the VALUE for their services CANNOT BE BEAT. Image Quality is stellar and you get unlimited shots! Brides, you will NOT regret hiring American Photography for your wedding needs.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Julie and our videographer with American Photography and Video! Our photos came out so beautiful and she truly captured each moment perfectly!!! Our video is the same way--every wonderful moment was captured and it is put together so professionally! We highly recommend American Photography and Video and are so grateful to both of them for capturing everything so fabulously!

Our wedding albums are so gorgeous and we had one made for our parents as well --much to their delight!!
The video is one that our family and friends loved to sit and watch over and over because it is both entertaining and memorable set to music of our choice and very well put together!!

I really loved the service that me and John received by American Photography and Video. Julie was very enthusiastic about the photography. It was exactly the kind of attitude from a photographer that I had hoped for. She was very concise and clear and direct about all of the different poses, positions and types of photos she wanted, so they were done at a very efficient pace. The best part was the actual photos. The pictures turned out lovely. The focus on each photo was clear, the proportion of each person or item in the photo was spot on perfect and everyone looked amazing! We had the perfect wedding, and we couldn't have had a better experience without Julie!

Julie at American Photography was AMAZING!! She did our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos. During our wedding it proceeded to rain, but she captured every moment despite the drops! She has an amazing eye for detail and had us take the perfect pictures to remember the day. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for fantastic value with a quality and creative eye.

Would not recommend

I hired American Photography and Videography for just their video services for my July 2018 wedding. I asked for the videographer's contact information before hand so I could touch base with him before the wedding to explain what I was looking for, but was told they don't give out that information and that I could talk to him in person on the day of the wedding. That should've been my first red flag... what bride has time to explain to her videographer what she's looking for on the DAY OF the wedding?? I was somehow able to find the time while getting ready to explain to the videographer (whom I had never met before this) that during the cocktail hour, my husband and I wanted him to record well wishes from our guests instead of recording the wedding party taking pictures (because who needs video of getting PICTURES taken... that's what photographers are for). These instructions were not followed, so now I have video of a photography session and no well wishes from guests on my DVD. Also, when I got the DVD back, there was some sort of microphone glitch, so about 1/3 of my video message to my husband was overplayed by static. Additionally, there were several pan shots where the videographer forgot to straighten the camera, so the shot is tilted to the side. Overall, the quality of the recording looks very homemade. Finally, the DATE WAS WRONG on the main menu page (it said July 24, instead of July 28), PLUS there was a typo on our opening credits - the date later on read "July , 28 , 2018". When I notified American Photography & Videography of the errors, they assured me they would fix it, but it's been nearly a month since that email string and I still do not have a corrected DVD.

They will reel you in with the "this months special" but its always available and this is truely a "you get what you pay for"! The owner is the photographer, and she is very rude, unprofessional and misleading. She was very inpatient and always complaining. Anytime we had to meet she would say "And dont be late because I have a ......", in a very rude voice. She was actually the late one and always had a perfectly good excuse. She actually informed me that she was not going to do my wedding the day before, when she specifically said she was! Her assistant was any thing but experienced,and he was MIA with his "assistant" thru out our wedding night! I bought the cd for our pics and ..they misspelled my husbands name and scratch out someone elses name with a marker and wrote ours! Oh I wish I would have not gone cheap!

I got married November 18... didn’t get all my photos until 7 moths later. She made several mistakes.. including spelling my husbands name wrong on the cd.. she had the audacity to say that I “maybe spelled it wrong” when I submitted the names through email, even though his name was spelled write everywhere else. She also had the wrong song on the cd. She was extremely rude when I pointed out flaws. She even gave me my photo album and my first picture on the album was wrinkled and had a gash on the picture. my mother in laws album was missing a picture in her album. I had to make 4 unnecessary trips to her office because of the mistakes she had made. Save your money and go to a different photography place.. one that will make you feel special and take romantic and silly photos of your day. I did not get to have that luxury.

My mother and I were very impressive when we met to look at the packages and sign our deal. i felt very confident with this photographer. The day of our wedding it was horrible. The photographer dress attire was not very professional for a formal event. What kills me is that he did not capture pictures of our rings being placed on our fingers, photos of peoples backs, the bartender, multiple shots of the same thing, I got photos that were blurry and really it was just bad. We do have some good photos and I am grateful for those but we did not get what we paid for. Very disappointing.

we just strongly do not suggest their work and specially the way they film the party , they just stair at one point and dont move their camera and film the same people from the beginning till the end ... they are not professional at all and they messed up our one time and memorable moments with the way they recorded our wedding party . we cant stop saying how horrible it is . the only good thing is that they record the film as HD quality but the rest is terrible . we spend a lot of money on this video because it is the most important thing and everybody know how it feels because we will never go back to that day and only left with a memory that makes it alive for us and that is a video which was recorded terrible without any editing .
All this note is coming up from the bottom of my heart and the reason is they really hurt me with what they did and i cant even get it fix or even edit it .
