    After weeks of searching online for a budget-friendly party supply company, I found American Party Rental. This company has the best rates for what they offer! The tables, linens, and miscellaneous decor were everything I'd hoped for and more. The process of ordering was simple, and the follow up made me feel that I could trust the items would be dropped off and picked up on time for my wedding reception. The only thing that would have made our lives easier would have been assistance with carrying the heavy items up into our actual venue. The staff was friendly, the items were all in tact and accounted for, and the overall rented items brought my vision to life! I will definitely recommend this company to anyone who needs party supplies in the future.

    It was really easy to get the rentals. I didn't have a specific contact person. All the peopel there are very knowledgeable and it's very affordable.

    I rented the linens, chairs and cocktail tables for my wedding reception. I paid to have them delivered but later found out that they charge $150 to pick the stuff up because it was a Sat night and considered after hours. I thought this was exhorbitant. Also i really stressed that i needed the stuff dropped off close to 10 am Sat morning but it didnt arrive til after noon which really made it stressful for my family doing set up. I paid them over $1,000 so i found this unacceptable.

    The chairs and tables were delivered way too early, before the reception site even opened for the morning. Needless to say, that was unnecessary stress for any bride on her wedding day. My dad had to calm the driver, who wasn't happy with the delay for him, and convince him to come back later that day to complete the delivery, which I had already paid for in full. Other than that, everything was delivered as promised and picked up on time.

    Price Friendly and easy

    The process of picking and getting items needed was easy. If you know what you are looking for it was a quick in and out.

    At first I loved this place, their prices were resonable and they quoted me a great delivery fee. When I went in to book the chairs, they added on over 200 dollars more in fees and delivery charges because my wedding was after 2pm on a Saturday. Duh! Most weddings are! So they are milking the wedding industry and I thought that very tacky of them. But the quality of the chairs I rented were nice.

    A little customer service would go a long way.

    Despite the closing time noted on their website, they DO NOT accept returns within the last 15 minutes of being open.

    I learned this the hard way. I went to return 3 tables and 2 stacks of folding chairs on Saturday. This would've taken me all of 5 minutes to unload from my truck into their bay. I arrived at 2:53 PM, called to let them know I was in back and ready to unload, and they refused - despite being inside. They noted that their team to unload had left for the day. I told them I'd unload myself and accept all damage. They simply said no and to come back on Monday morning. I pleaded with the person but she was not budging.

    Note that I live 40 minutes away and agreed to be quick and accept any damage claims.

    I spoke with the manager, Val, today and she said that this is their policy. When challenged on why not keep the entire team there until 3 PM, she simply said "they have other stuff to do."

    I am not saying I couldn't have planned with more time in advance. I am not saying that I was 100% right in how I handled the call on Saturday. But I do expect a small dose of customer service. It seems that corporate red tape and loose closing time practices have taken their toll on this place.

    I'm hopeful that the company owners take note of this and make some changes.

    Until then, there are plenty of other places to rent from.

    Completely cheated us. The venue was 45 minutes late allowing for pickup and APP charged me double my initial rate to come back the next day for pickup. In addition, their name was scrawled in tacky sharpie on all of the rentals which made for a cheap appearance at the event itself.

    Will never do business with these folks again and would suggest any other rental company in town over them (Marquee, etc).
