Best wedding venue EVER!!!! Amelita has a beautiful building, great patios, and a helpful staff! It was perfect for our event! We couldn't be happier!!!

We had such a wonderful wedding at the barn. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. They were there helping from start to finish and everything was perfect for our special day!

I can not say enough about our whole experience with Amelito Mirolo Barn, with Upper Arlington Parks and Rec. From the minute I requested information to the every end of the celebration, I was treated with respect and professionalism. Never did I ever feel my questions or requests were silly or demanding. They were helpful in helping us decorate for the evening and they even offered a few suggestions to make the night extra special! We were very lucky to have great weather so we could have the barn doors open the whole night! The children (as well as adults) loved using the school playground close by. I enjoyed the comments of the pleasant surprise from my guests of a “barn” in the middle of UA!!!! We definitely plan to use this facility for more future celebrations!

I can't say enough good things about the wonderful staff at the Amelita Mirolo Barn! They were friendly, helpful and responsive! The Barn is a beautiful facility- it has a very functional and open layout and is located in the middle of a park. From a logistical perspective, it's conveniently located, with plenty of parking for guests.

Really enjoyed working with the staff at Amelita Barn. They really helped my vision come true as much was possible during this crazy COVID time.

Amelita Mirolo Barn was the perfect pick for our wedding venue. It was a fantastic event. I worked with the amazing Charlotte. She is one of the most responsive professionals I’ve ever worked with. The event went exactly as planned. The venue was appropriately priced and offered experience as a wedding venue that made me have confidence and trust from day one. Highly recommend this venue and Charlotte, for any special event!

We picked the venue for the cost savings as it allowed us to spend money on other things.
The venue is gorgeous! The staff are excellent. They made the day go so smoothly. We didn’t work with a wedding coordinator which made me super nervous but the staff took care of a lot of details that I hadn’t thought about.
I highly Recommend putting your money in your parks department!!

Absolutely gorgeous wedding venue. Required very little decorating, as the integrity of the barn lent itself to a beautiful, rustic aesthetic. The staff was so helpful throughout the entire planning process, and I genuinely enjoyed working with them.

We got married at Amelita this past June, and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience. The venue is absolutely beautiful and we got so many compliments from everyone. We also loved the setting and the fact that it's really affordable. The staff was great to work with, and they were so helpful with planning, set up and our rehearsal the day before, as well as at our actual wedding. John was our coordinator, and he was great to work with, answered all my questions, and kept everything going smoothly the day before and day of. I appreciated his help so much! Additionally, our other vendors and people in our wedding party/family all commented on how great the venue was and how helpful John and other staff were.

Our wedding was picture perfect! We chose a small wedding on a Monday morning. This venue and our coordinator Charlotte were very accommodating. The fountain and patio were beyond beautiful. They had a staff member wait until we said “I do” and they turned on the fountain for a big show. They had the chairs and table all set up and they make sure to keep an eye on the weather for you and adjust plans easily. Plus, you cannot beat their price! Especially perfect for a wedding on a budget. You cannot go wrong here. Additional info: we chose Creative Cuisine Catering, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Sunny Meadows Flower Farm (DIY) and Ecoflora for the bridal bouquet, and were incredibly happy.

We cannot say enough amazing things about the Amelita Mirolo Barn. We had an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. The staff was amazing and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. We would recommend this venue to anyone!

We are so glad we found the Amelita Mirolo Barn for our wedding!! It is such a beautiful location both inside and out. Our ceremony was held in the old barn section and looked so rustic and lovely. We were able to take our pictures outside under the arch and in front of the fountain. Our guests enjoyed being able to go out to the patio and get some fresh air. Our reception was great as the barn allowed plenty of space to dance, eat, and visit with family and friends. Having a room for getting ready and placing personal items was a great help and something that was appreciated by me, the bride. The kitchen had ice which helped us with our drinks. The staff was extremely helpful! Being able to meet about a week or so before to go over the layout helped us not stress about the decoration details. The staff at the barn was there the entire time and helped with decorating, aiding the caterers and jumping in to help whenever needed. They definitely took our needs as the most important thing. We hope we get to experience more events at this beautiful venue!

This venue is beautiful, rustic, and romantic. It's very affordable (kind of a steal), especially if you or someone you know lives in UA and are eligible for resident pricing. The preferred caterers list is a good selection for Columbus. Maybe the only downsides are: there is only parking for 60 in the parking lot but I think there is street parking too and it's a residential area so the party has to end at 10pm. Aside from that, the barn works with many great vendors that will help you create any atmosphere you want.

This was an amazing venue, and I am so happy that I got married here! We worked with Jodi and John, and both were fantastic. Jodi made the booking/contract part easy and accommodating, helping me update the contract when we had changes and giving me good advice. We were lucky enough to have a UA sponsor so we got the city discount, and at an already affordable price! I chose this venue because it already had a lot of natural beauty and it was very relaxed, allowing me to design my dream wedding kind of from scratch. John helped us plan our layout for guests, buffets, etc. and on the day of the event he was a lifesaver. He went above and beyond his duty as a venue representative, and helped make sure everything went perfectly. I don't think it could've been pulled off without him. He also was a huge help during cleanup and helped to make sure we got out of the barn within our time frame. Thank you so much to everyone at Amelita who helped us out! You all truly made it a fantastic day.

Excellent wedding and reception venue. We were able to have an outdoor ceremony in beautiful 70 degree weather! There are two helpful hints I would offer for this. The sun was in our guests' eyes, so offer visors with your programs. Also, don't plan on centerpieces with lights as you won't get to enjoy them until much later in the evening, as the sun comes in from so many different windows. It's absolutely beautiful, but blinding. The wedding suite is in the kitchen, which can be awkward when a full staff is preparing for the reception. Minor logistical items, but worth noting. The accoustics also aren't the greatest, so let your DJ know so they can prepare for that. (Extra speakers, different angles, etc) Now, the awesome staff and venue. John and Carolyn are top notch! John brought us drinks when we were getting photos, perfect. They attended to all of our needs, waited on us hand and foot, and we felt like royalty for the day. They were never in our way, but they were always nearby. They also worked with us to get just the right ceremony and reception setup. You cannot go wrong with this venue. It truly is beautiful and the staff is so professional and there to please. They setup all of the tables and chairs exactly as we had discussed, even after a couple of changes just prior to the big day. One caveat, book early! This venue is booked way in advance!!

Having our wedding at the barn was great! Jodi, one of the main coordinators I worked with was fantastic. It was also REALLY well priced, and we had a comfortable table arrangement with around 120 people-- I wouldn't recommend going to the full 150 because it would be PACKED. I loved how gorgeous the barn was, it's great for a minimal bride who doesn't want to go nuts decorating. 10/10, would get married there again.

The barn could not possibly have been more perfect for our needs. We had about 130 people at our wedding and the venue accommodated us perfectly. We did the ceremony outside at 5:30pm, with the reception immediately following indoors. The pond and fountain at sunset was a lovely backdrop, visible through the wall of glass doors.

Jodi was AWESOME. She's super easy to get a hold of by phone or email, a pleasure to talk with, and incredibly helpful, thorough, and flexible. She made our rain-plan really easy, and we very nearly needed it (it stopped raining about 20 minutes before the ceremony).

One note: the sound system is not great here. This is probably our fault; we didn't hire a DJ for our wedding because we were aiming for simplicity and low-budget, so we made our own playlist and plugged in a laptop to the barn's sound system. The volume was not nearly as loud as we would have liked it to be for the dancing/party atmosphere we were going for later in the reception. If I had to do it over again, the ONLY thing I'd change is that we'd hire a DJ primarily for the speakers he or she would bring with.

My son had his wedding here and I am happy to say that we were told by almost everyone that it was their favorite wedding they had been to. From the staff, to the food choice to the people doing decorations it could not have been any better. The value is outstanding and the building and surroundings made it perfect. We recommend this to anyone who ask.

Jodi was absolutely amazing! She made our day come out so smooth. When we saw this site we knew it was the place we wanted to get married at. She answered any questions my husband and I had. She went above and beyond in helping us with how the seating can be done and if we had to move the ceremony inside how it would be setup. We did get to do our ceremony outside. Jodi pulled all our chairs in for the seating. We would recommend this venue to anyone. Thank you again Jodi!!

If you are planning a smaller wedding max 150 people, this is a beautiful place to have the wedding and reception. We were able to have the wedding outside, Michael and his crew were so helpful in making sure everything went smoothly.

If you are looking for a beautiful, intimate location for a wedding, look no further than the Amelita Mirolo Barn! We held both our ceremony and reception at the Barn and it was absolutely stunning! We loved the rustic, yet sophisticated feel. The staff at the barn is incredibly responsive and made the planning process so easy! Michael, Jodi and team were absolutely a delight and thought of everything! Thank you to the entire team!

A classmate recommended the Amelita Mirolo Barn to me, and it ended up being perfect for our summer wedding. I love that it is so unique- a barn in the middle of a city- and that we could personalize it so much with our decor. We had about 85 guests, and it was just the right amount of room for the tables, dance floor, and a photobooth inside. It was so nice to have the side barn doors open during the first part of our reception, too, since it was a gorgeous day. The guests really enjoyed walking around the park and hanging out on the patios thoughout the evening. We had our ceremony outside on the patio under the arch, which is beautiful with the fountain in the background.

Additionally, every single person I spoke with from the staff was very friendly and helpful. Michael answered numerous questions for me over the course of our planning, and was always nice and responsive. Jodi was the main person we worked with when we were actually at the barn (planning the layout, decorating, and then the actual wedding) and she was the best! Everything was easy and ran smoothly from start to finish. We decorated the barn the evening before the wedding, and Jodi and her colleague (Brian, I think?) were both really nice, calm, and happy to answer questions and do whatever they could to help us, even rearranging items in the fridges so we could store iced tea in one of them. It was really a great experience to have our wedding at the Amelita Mirolo Barn and I highly recommend it!
