EXCELLENT-PHENOMENUAL.......
I truly don't know where to start she made our cake so beautiful and the inside was super tasty. I didn't expect any less because her cake tasting samples they way she makes and presents them tells a story itself! The love she puts behind something as simple as a simple was very appeasing. I would get on a mountain and scream how great this cake tasted the day of my wedding she has our business not only for our wedding hopefully they do other occassions. Absolutely worth every penny!! STUNNING STUNNING BRAVO!!! -

Extremely happy
Jennifer is easy to work with and very kind. During the pandemic we had to change the dates a few times and she understood. I was impressed with the taste of the cake as my husband and I looked many places. It was a perfect us. She designed just how I envisioned with the colors. If she was able to create cakes for other occasions she would be my go to. I’m blessed to have had her create our cake. Thank you Jennifer for everything. We had 3 different flavor cakes and my number one was cookies and cream delicious!! -

A Cake We'll Never Forget
We were so grateful that Jennifer was referred to us. At our tasting she gave us some of her most popular flavors, but since we were having a summer wedding, we wanted something light and fruity that wasn't on her list of flavors. She went out of the way and made us a flavor that was absolutely out of this world just to make us happy! She allowed us to have a three layer cake with two different flavors and it was a big hit. The decoration for the cake matched perfectly to symbol me and my husband getting engaged in the mountains. We are looking forward having her make our anniversary cake. We would love to make it a tradition and hope she'll be able to do it every year. -

A True Work Of Art.
We were so thrilled with our cake. I am into all things creepy, so when Ambrosia said they could fulfill my request for a skull cake, I couldn't contain my excitement. Not only was it beautiful (I almost cried because I didn't want to cut into it) the taste was incredible. So easy to work with and beyond creative. -

Our cake not only looked beautiful, but tasted great!
Jennifer was so easy to work with and made selecting our cake a breeze. Everyone complimented our cake and loved both the red velvet and chocolate. Not only that, but she was able to recreate my dream cake that I had found from Pinterest and customize it to make it our own. I would highly recommend working with her for your next event! -

Jennifer's cakes are literally edible works-of-art. My husband and I so happy that we went with her for our wedding cake. She was one of the highest quotes that we received, but she was worth every penny. You will NOT regret booking her. We will certainly be using her for any and all future cake needs. -

Jennifer was simply amazing. We met with her for a tasting and were able to try three different types of cakes. While we were there, she asked us questions about our wedding, and then sketched out a design for our cake right away. When we left the tasting, we already knew exactly what the cake would look like and how much it would cost. I am thrilled with how the cake turned out. It was beautiful and tasted incredible! Ambrosia Cakes were awesome. We had an issue with our first baker and at the last minute Mrs. Jennifer came in and designed a cake that we loved as well as our guest! Jennifer created the cake of our dreams! She was such a pleasure to meet and provided us with some delicious samples. We worked with Jennifer for our groom's cake and wedding cake for our wedding on October 10th, 2015. Jennifer was a pleasure to work with. She made individual mini cakes for us to try when we came to do a cake tasting (each one was amazing by the way). She was the most personable cake vendor we met with when looking for someone to bake our cakes. She welcomed us into her private kitchen so we got a feel for where/how the cakes are made. The kitchen was spotless and she immediately struck us as someone who was very organized, clean, professional, responsive and incredibly approachable. She took the time to ensure she was exceeding our expectations with the cake designs and she did just that. My husband (still weird to say it!) and I requested a Virginia Tech/NC State football themed groom's cake (our teams were playing the night of our rehearsal dinner) and Jennifer wanted to make it perfect. She brainstormed ideas on how to make the helmets out of materials so we could save them as keepsakes. She was able to come up with a way to do it and it was just incredible. Additionally, I (the bride) ran into her when I got to the venue on the big day b/c she personally delivered the cake. She immediately asked how the groom's cake was from our rehearsal dinner and congratulated me on our big day. You can tell she genuinely cares about you and the role she plays in one of the most important days of your life. Can't say enough positive things about Jennifer and her DELICIOUS cakes!! Highly recommend the raspberry, lemon and amaretto flavors. -

Working with Jennifer was a pleasure throughout our wedding planning process and after the wedding I had multiple friends tell me that ours was the best cake they'd ever had! Jennifer is a great designer. She started to draw cake sketches for us based on our vision during the consultation meeting, and sent us several more for us to choose from after the meeting. And she was very patient, responsive and considerate throughout the planning phase. The final product for our wedding was gorgeous. We cannot be happier with our choice. Jennifer was wonderful. The cake testing really gave a great impression of her talent. After several other cake testings hers stood out. This is why we choose her. The cake was very moist, the number and cake fillings was great and her designs were wonderful. We actually used one of her past cakes designs and made it ours. Wow...talk about an amazing cake! Ambrosia Cake Creations did an amazing job and we could not have been happier with the cake we received!
At our first meeting we got to taste a number of different cakes and frosting. Jennifer was extremely helpful with getting our ideas onto paper. She was about to meld what the both of us had envisioned into the perfect cake.
We ended up choosing a 3 tier cake and got a different combination for each tier. The cake itself was beautiful! On top of that it was absolutely delicious! We have had a number of friends actually ask us after the wedding where we got the cake from because it was the best they have ever had!
We could not be happier with Jennifer and Ambrosia Cake Creations and would recommend them to all our friends! -

The cake was beautiful and delicious!!! We picked Ambrosia because Jennifer listened, made us feel like anything was possible, and her buttercream frosting was the best we have ever tasted.
We narrowed bakers down to 4. The first 3 had that super sweet, kid's birthday party frosting. As soon as we tasted Ambrosia we knew this was it! Perfect combination of sweet, but not sickeningly sweet. People loved the cake, went back for seconds and thirds.
It was also decorated beautifully and held up in the June heat. When we cut it at about 9:00 p.m., it had been sitting there for hours and was still beautiful.
She also made the Groom's cake. That was delicious and beautifully decorated as well! Wish she made more than wedding cakes because she would be my go-to baker for everything! -

My husband and I met with Jennifer at the recommendation of our wedding venue, and we are so glad we did! After we had our tasting with her, we didn't even bother to set up tastings with any other vendors. Her cakes are not only beautiful, but they are incredibly delicious as well. Jennifer is very responsive, easy to work with, and makes great recommendations and suggestions. Her prices are also very reasonable. All of our guests commented on how delicious our cake was, and we were absolutely thrilled with it. I would highly, highly recommend Jennifer of Ambrosia Cake Creations! -

I only needed to taste one cake to know Jennifer was the vendor for me. As a dessert addict the cake was extremely important to me and Jennifer made me feel completely at ease and was wonderful to work with. I even asked her to make a separate bridesmaid charm cake that came out beautiful with the cake light as a feather. Her cakes are not only beautiful but delicious and she obviously truly cares that everything comes out perfect for your wedding. I highly recommend her - thank you Jennifer! -

Jennifer with Ambrosia Cake Creations was by far the best vendor that we worked with for our entire wedding. First of all her cakes are excellent and beyond expectation. Our cake was not only beautiful, but absolutely delicious. 2 of the flavors we asked for weren't even on the her list of flavors, but she made them for us and let me tell you they were moist and delicious. She takes a lot of time in the details of her cakes. She was very affordable, she cost less than the other baker's that we had tastings at, she was already the best hands down, and the price was the icing on the cake. Overall I can not recommend her enough. If she is in your area and has your date available there is no need to look any further trust me you won't regret it! From the initial contact, to the tasting, and finally the wedding day the whole experience was very smooth, easy, and enjoyable. I would definitely choose her again 10 times over. The absolute best decision I made regarding my wedding cake. Jennifer was able to fit us in regardless of our short timeline. We were a little hesitant when showing up at her house since she doesn't actually have a brick and mortar place, but it was THE CUTEST little bakery I have ever seen. It's in the back of her house and she had everything laid out when we showed up for our appointment. She had freshly baked, multiple cake samples with different flavors and icing choices. She had two bottles of water for us as well. The cake samples were delicious and we were able to take them home to decide what we wanted.
She worked super well within our budget and offered us suggestions and options. I actually had a cake picked out from a website that I emailed her. On the day of our wedding, I was so delighted to see that it looked JUST like the cake I had emailed her!! Not only that, but it was delicioussssssss. People had seconds!! And I had multiple inquiries on who did the cake.
Don't second guess yourself when it comes to choosing your wedding cake vendor. There is absolutely no need to go with a really well-known or fancy bakery when you can go with someone who does the job perfectly and at a good price. I would highly recommend her. -

I took a chance and let my (now) husband take the lead on the cake. I kind of knew what he was talking about but Jennifer made it so much better than I could have imagined. She has a photo of our red wedding cake with a gold dragon, phoenix, and double happiness symbol on her facebook page. Not only was the cake delicious (we had 1 layer as vanilla w/ raspberry and another with lemon) but it was such a great surprise for my in-laws. Jennifer is great and I would highly recommend Ambrosia! -

We had an awesome experience with Ambrosia's bakery. She was able to create our groom's cake and wedding cake to look exactly like the pictures we presented and not to mention it was DELICIOUS! She responded to emails quickly and provided suggestions when needed. -

Ambrosia made a STUNNING and delicious cake for our wedding!! It was even prettier than the pinterest photos I brought in as inspiration! The handmade flowers & lace on the cake were so delicate and pretty and sparkling, they took my breath away! EVERYONE thought it was real lace and I can’t even imagine how much time and effort went into making our cake!
And the cake was not only beautiful, but our guests were shocked that it also tasted SO good -- they actually sought me out during the reception to see who made it!
Jennifer at Ambrosia was a pleasure to work with and we appreciate that she went above and beyond on our cake! She is truly an artist!!

Jennifer is the nicest person ever! I booked with her 7-9 months before my wedding, designed a cake, picked out flavors. etc. Then 4 months before the wedding we changed everything and Jennifer understood and was still able to give us exactly what we wanted. We moved our wedding to another state (3hrs away) and Jennifer arranged to give us our cake the day we left town, packaged for the ride, and instructions on how to care for it. The day of the wedding the cake tasted like it was JUST made. At our tasting, I knew I had to have her; her cakes are so tasteful and moist. Her prices are in line with surrounding vendors. Responsive to your thoughts and ideas and did I mention that her cakes were GOOD!! I still have people wanting to know who made our cake because it was so flavorful, definitely one of the highlights from our wedding. Highly recommended! :)

Working with Jennifer was great - she had us over to her bakery where we sampled several varieties of cakes and also were able to look through her portfolio. She was very professional and immediately had several ideas to create a cake similar to a design we found online. We also thought it was very thoughtful that she gives couples a mini cake on their one-year anniversary so we didn't have to freeze the top tier of our cake!
At our wedding, the cake looked absolutely beautiful and tasted fabulous! We could not have been happier with the finished product. -

Jennifer's cake was simple delicious! Even though my fiance and I nearly got lost finding her studio it was worth it. Her flavors were the best, hands down, of all the cakes we tasted. We chose two different flavors for our 3-tier cake, vanilla cake with strawberry and cream cheese filling and almond cake with Amaretto flavor. I loved that she was able to create the look of fondant without actually using fondant which I am not a fan of. The delicious buttercream frosting was so good and Jennifer was able to make a simple but stunning design. I am so glad we chose her to make the cake for our special day. -

Jennifer was an absolute joy to work with and professional in every way. She made not only a beautiful cake for my daughters wedding, but one that was delicious as well. Jennifer listened very carefully and drew up a design that my daughter loved. On the day of the wedding, the cake was gorgeous and went beyond our expectations. Jennifer sculpted doves and put on the cake and they looked so very pretty and were just perfect.
One of the things we had asked Jennifer to do was to sculpt a batman peeking out from the bottom of the cake on the back of the cake especially for the groom. We did this without him knowing about it to surprise him as the groom was a fan of batman. We did this because we had chosen not to have a grooms cake and thought that this would be a cute addition and would make the groom feel special. We had seen this idea on Pinterest and when we showed it to Jennifer, she said she could do that for us. We were thrilled!
For anyone looking for someone to make a delicious and absolutely gorgeous cake, I highly recommend Jennifer. In my opinion, she is the best. She is even going to make a 1 year anniversary cake for my daughter and son-in-law for them to enjoy so they did not have to freeze the top of their wedding cake. How awesome is that! Thanks Jennifer! :) -

Wow wow wow! Being a chef and having tasted the cake of many other couples on their special day, one of my highest priorities was to deliver the best tasting cake I could to our guests. Jennifer delivered that at the Forever Bridal show, and it took little convincing to get my bride-to-be (now wife) to buy in.
Jennifer delivers the best tasting cake in the area. We ordered buttercream frosting and Jennifer made it look as clean as fondant. I still hear from our friends about how good it was. I have no other recommendations but Ambrosia for your special day. -

I was a disappointed bride to be when I went wedding cake tasting, everything tasted so blah and from a box. So when I contacted Jennifer at Ambrosia Cake Creations, I pleaded with her on the phone to please be offering me a cake that I would love and want for my wedding and boy did she ever live up to her promise. My fiance and I went to the tasting and I only got to taste a corner of the cake since he devoured it all. We immediately booked her for our wedding cake and it's going on almost 3 years since we've been married and my husband still talks about our cake and critiques every other wedding cake we have tasted since, saying they should have used out cake lady for their cake, lol. Our friends even still talk about how good our cake was at the wedding. My husband's birthday is coming up and he has requested that he does not want any other cake but our wedding cake for her birthday cake. Will always be grateful to Jennifer for creating us a cake that we will forever remember. -

Jennifer made the BEST wedding cake I have ever tasted. I am a bit of chocolate and cake snob so when I say it was the best wedding cake I have ever had, it was! We had her chocolate cake with oreo filling. She also did a fabulous job getting a beautiful smooth appearance to our cake without fondant. I love the look of fondant but hate the taste, and she achieved the look with buttercream. Everything was delivered on time and she was so wonderful to work with. Pricing was comparable to other bakeries and her cake was far superior. You won't regret your choice to choose Ambrosia! I would highly recommend her cakes. I'm looking for an excuse to order another one. -

As is always a concern with wedding cakes is will it taste as good as it looks. In both cakes the answer was an astounding yes! Jennifer is really nice and easy to work with. I can't say enough about her and her cakes. I had people tell me it was the best cake they ever ate, you can't go wrong with Ambrosia. THE BEST!!!! Jennifer gave us exactly what we wanted for our wedding cake. We wanted a special brooch on our cake, she made it look beautiful. We wanted two different flavors, they were the most amazing tasting cakes. We wanted tiny little new york yankee symbols bordering our cake, she made it look better than we could have imagined. Jennifer made the cake for our wedding earlier this week, she is someone you can trust to get you the cake you've always wanted and your guest will talk about for years to come.
It was wonderful. We shopped wedding cake at a few local vendors including sweet memories, in Apex. Jennifer's cake tasted better and was better value. We had two kinds of cake chocolate with chocolate mousse and white cake with a raspberry filling. Both were delicious.
We ran into an issue with the size of the cake we needed. Our wedding was in between two wedding cake sizes that Jennifer made. No problem! We ordered a sheet cake on the side ... of the same cake that the caterer served along with the cake. Our guests never knew the difference and we even had some for the next day.
Jennifer also makes a free anniversary cake for the one year anniversary so we didn't need to save the top of the cake!
She's a great vendor. Professional, easy to work with, someone you can trust to get it right.

Jennifer at the Ambrosia Cake Creations is the sweetest, nicest, and the most talented cake lady I've ever met. I had to reschedule the cake tasting the last minute and she was very accommodating to allow me to do that. When we finally went to the cake tasting, she had cut and packaged all the popular flavors into separate packages for me, my sister in law, her daughter, and my mother in law, just in case we couldn't finish them. But of course we did, because every piece was so soft and delicious. She has quite a few albums of the cakes she did before for our reference. I ended up picking one of the cakes from her existing albums to be the groom's cake. After talking to her about my ideas for the wedding cake, it only took her a minute to make the sketches, which came out to be exactly what I envisioned. I'm a big fan of wedding cake not only looking good, but also tasting good. And Jennifer from Ambrosia Cake Creations was just the right person for me! And both the groom's cake and our wedding cake came to look good and taste good, too! -

I almost never eat wedding cake at weddings and I know a lot of people who are the same way (why get in the way of drinking and dancing time?) but every single guest at my wedding raved about how good the cake was. Jennifer makes the best cake possible. Both my husband and I are not cake fans. In fact we both hate chocolate and chocolate cake, but knew it was important to have cake at the wedding. Her cakes are amazing. We had the almond amaretto, it is to die for. Not only did it taste good (as some of our guest were going for second helpings), it looked amazing. We had a very specific style of cake we wanted (need to be very UNC/Tar Heel) and it was more beautiful than we expected. The cake was amazing. So many of our friends and family (Carolina Alum and fans) were blown away by the way the cake looked and then also tasted. We had people emailing us while on our honeymoon asking if we had any left over so they can have some more. If you want an amazing butter cream, fresh, beautiful cake, Ambrosia is the way to go! -

Jennifer created the perfect cake for our reception. We met with her once to discuss the design of the cake and the flavors we wanted. She was easy to work with. Our cake was fantastic. The best cake I've ever had at a wedding...ever! The best part is that she creates an anniversary cake for you for free so you can serve your entire cake! What a treat! All our guests raved about the cake and we have given her name to a lot of the guests. Would definitely recommend her! -

Beautiful cake, exactly how we designed it with Jennifer. It was nice to work with a small local vendor who made us feel comfortable. She provided several samples for tasting. We choose vanilla with raspberry cream filling for the top and bottom tier, and carrot cake for the middle. All were wonderful and almost all the cake was gone by the end of the night. Her work is amazing and not covered in fondant. -

Jennifer is amazing!! My cake was beautiful and delicious!! She had beautiful designs to choose from, but we told her what we wanted and she drew it for us--and it looked EXACTLY like the sketch. It was perfect! She has so many different flavors to choose from and all of them are so good. We can't wait for our one year anniversary so we can get a new top tier of our cake!! -

Jennifer Stevens of Ambrosia Cakes was a lifesaver for our wedding. She promptly met with us offering my (then fiance') and I the most optimal deal for our small ceremony. She knew exactly what we wanted and came through. Not only are her cakes absolutely beautiful, they are excellent for the palate. In fact, all of the strawberry was devoured prior to us even getting a small piece. My favorite was the chocolate mousse layer....unbelievable. I would recommend her 100 times over....she's awesome!! -

Jennifer did an excellent job on my wedding cake! We met for an initial consultation to discuss the style of my design. I got to sample different varietys of cakes and fillings and even got to take them home for my fiancee to sample. My wedding cake was picture perfect. All of our wedding guests said that it was the most delicious wedding cake they ever had and even ate 2-3 pieces of it. The cake was incredibly moist and not overly sweet as most wedding cakes seem to be. Jennifer delivered my cake to my reception spot and coordinated with my florist for placing the flowers on my cake. I only wish that I could upload a photo of my cake for you to see! Ambrosia Cake Creations was very reasonably priced and helped to make my reception a huge success as the wedding cake is such a focal point. Thank you Jennifer and Ambrosia Cake Creations for helping to make my wedding day the best day of my life!! -

This was by far the best wedding cake I've ever tasted! There wasn't a crumb left over - fortunately I had the caterer save us a slice from each layer. Jennifer created a whimsical topsy-turvey cake for us that fit our personalities exactly. Big time 5 stars for Ambrosia Cake Creations! -

I have nothing but positive things to say about Ambrosia Cakes! The cake is absolutely delicious - so many people commented on it! I loved that I came to the meeting with an idea of what I wanted and she sat there and drew my cake for me! I sent an invitation and other color swatches and my cake matched beautifully on my wedding day.
Another great part of Ambrosia Cakes - you get a free cake on your one year anniversary! That way you can enjoy all your cake on your wedding day and not have to worry about freezing any, since it doesn't taste good after it's been frozen for a year, anyway! -

This baker was absolutely wonderful. She sat down with both my husband and I and really listened to our vision for our wedding cake. As we described the cake, she sketched it out. Jennifer was absolutely wonderful to work with! Our cake was delicious and gorgeous, we got so many compliments! We had a white cake with raspberry filling and a yummy icing. Jennifer made snowflakes that were the perfect touch! She is down to earth and very easy to work with, we highly recommend Ambrosia Cake Creations! She also delivered the cake the day after Christmas in the snow, how much more could we ask for?! A great perk - on our first anniversary, Jennifer re-created the top tier of our cake! -

Our cake was perfect, and even better it acutally tasted good. I was sick of going to weddings and then have the cake taste disgusting. The cake was so good and everyone commented on it. Plus, on your one year anniversary, she gives you a complimentary top from your cake, so you don't have to save and eat your original, that is usually disgusting after sitting in your freezer for a year. I highly recommend her! -

I had a three layer cake that fed 144 people. She sat down with me and looked through all the books and found exactly what i wanted. We even took peices from different pictures and put them togetherto make my perfect cake. IT TASTED AMAZING!! most wedding cake i have ate are all the same and gross honestly. We hade a strawberry creamcheese wedding cake and it was demolished by the people at our wedding. She drew out a picture of my cake and it was exactly what i wanted when i seen it at my wedding. GREAT JOB -

We ordered a cake and a groom's cake (a semi-surprise for the groom) for our wedding. When we met with Jennifer, we brought photos of various cakes that included elements we liked. We also saw a cake in her studio that we liked.
On the spot, she created several unique designs based on the elements we liked. We had a hard time selecting the final design because we liked them all. Our cake was definitely unique to our tastes and more beautiful than we anticipated.
For the groom's cake, she recreated (with a few custom tweaks) a baseball cap on a diamond, which I had found on another site. When my groom saw the attention to detail -- Jennifer even included a baseball with stitching -- he was so excited that he took a photo with his phone and posted it to Facebook before we even arrived at the wedding venue.
I even asked for a custom flavor, and Jennifer created a recipe that was moist, unique and delicious. The groom loved it, as did the rest of our guests at the rehearsal dinner.
Back to our wedding cake, we were able to have four different flavors for our layers, with no extra charge. Other bakers we met may have included one different flavor, but most charged for each different flavor. So, we were pleased at that offering from Ambrosia Cake Creations.
Our overall experience with this vendor was great. Jennifer is friendly, and she (and her staff) are talented. She listens to what you want and delivers it. And, we were pleased with the moistness of the cakes (important to me) and the flavors. -

I was almost happy that a large number of people were unable to attend our winter wedding as this meant there was lots of leftover cake!! Not only did the cake look amazing and taste out-of-this world delicious, Jennifer was also a delight to work with! She did miss a few emails, but a phone call quickly cleared up any problems (at the time she was having computer issues). She even did TWO cake tastings for us - one for my hubby's family and one for mine a month before the wedding when they flew in for thanksgiving. I am counting the months til our anniversary so that we can have more of Jennifer's wonderful cake! -

We wanted a very unique cake for our wedding, that could showcase my husband's and my heritage. Jennifer was fantastic at presenting those elements dear to us in our wedding cake (all eatable!). This cake was DELICIOUS the two times we tasted it. However, on the day of the wedding, it did not taste quite as fresh as it had when we tasted it. Jennifer was a pleasure to work with and was very flexible with us - she even allowed for a second more personalized tasting. The cake turned out BEAUTIFULLY! Just as I had hoped. -
