I just attended a fundraiser in South Pasadena, and can truly vouch for the amazingly festive mood that Ambiance Lighting Pros created on the otherwise plain golf course! With enchanting bistro lights and beautiful lanterns of a beach-like palette, the evening event felt like I was transported back to my amazing vacation in Kauai! The sound system was impeccable due to Danny Villa's expertise! My friends and I were able to dance the night away without a tech issue in sight! Great evening, great AMBIANCE, and wonderful memories of California dreamin'! -

We hired Ambiance Lighting Pros for an outdoor, evening fundraiser for 900 plus people on a golf course with 24 restaurant tents, a silent auction, a live auction on stage, a dance floor, a lounge and many tables throughout the event. Ambiance Lighting Pros created an absolutely beautiful, magical event for us with their breathtaking lighting. Danny and his hard working crew lit the dance floor so it looked like moving water, which was perfect for our beach theme. They lit each restaurant with colored light that stood out in the sea of elegant cobalt blue light that covered our event, (again which was perfect for our theme). The lounge, the silent auction & live auction were beautifully lit as well. Ambiance also strung bistro lights throughout the event creating an intimate, inviting space, which is no small task on a huge section of a golf course.
The sound that Ambiance set up for us was amazing too! It was crystal clear. It was not too loud for anyone sitting near a speaker, but reached across the vast expanse of the golf course so all patrons could hear well. Our dance floor was packed into the night thanks in part to the great sound that delivered all night along.
Overall - great vision and conceptual ideas, great production, great hard working & friendly crew, which led to a great, successful event! Would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again! -

Working with Ambiance Lighting Pros Inc. was a pleasure. They team of technicians were extremely knowledgeable, and very helpful. I especially liked how easy it was to make changes without any hassle or issues. I know I was in good hands because from the minute Danny Villa and his team arrived, they got to work, and had everything set up when we started, till the last guest left. The sound and visuals in the room went beyond expectations, and I am certain because the guests were engaged, and could see everything from all the flat screens in the room, along with a huge LED screen on the stage, we raised a lot of money for Goodwill Southern California's Golf Classic. -

We hired Ambiance Pros to set up lighting for our outdoor wedding at Heritage Square Museum in Los Angeles. The area in which needed lighting did not have a lot of places where string lights could be hung. Danny was very helpful in finding just the right place to do the setup and made the entire event look elegant and beautiful! We were on a budget but Danny his son and father did an amazing job with the setup and made sure there was enough lighting to cover a huge area of the space with the money we spent. They came later that night after the wedding was over to take everything down in a timely manner we really couldn't be happier with their services! Thanx again Danny! -

I worked with Danny and his crew at Ambiance Lighting Pros for the first time in 2012 and I have to say that they are my preferred lighting vendor!! It is extremely important to work with vendors you can rely on and trust to help execute the vision and wishes of the clients, just as they expect it to be! I have not been let down once by Danny or his team... and I don't anticipate it either!
He helps to deliver what the clients want, doesn't over promise or under deliver! -

Danny at Ambiance Pros was AMAZING!! I can't sum it up enough how pleasant it was working with him. Being in the wedding industry myself, I am looking for professionalism, responsiveness, rave reviews and knowledge. Last but not least, value and of course the bottom line/numbers. He took our vision, talked with us in understanding our needs and worked within our budget! He was extremely knowledgable and made suggestions where needed AND in a timely manner. LOVED that.
On the day of our wedding he set up our custom mongoram gobo lighting and uplights efficiently and on time (according to my planner). She said it looked BEAUTIFUL and that I would love it when I saw it! Sadly, we didn't even get to meet him in person to thank him.
I have already referred him to several friends and other bride and grooms who have shared the same glowing sentiments that I have for Danny and his team. Thank you Danny for making our "dream wedding" a reality!!! -

Well what can I say but, STELLAR, AMAZING, MAGICAL for the beautiful lighting scheme Ambiance provided for our ultra chic wedding at the SLS Beverly Hills this past weekend!
Danny and his team totally worked with our budget to give us a tremendous lighting extravaganza for our special day! Our guests raved about THREE things: the amazing food, the awesome DJ and the exquisite lighting provided by Ambiance Lighting Pros. Whether your talking about a huge hall or the smallest of venues, they can make your special event look magnificent! Efficient, artistic, accommodating...Ambiance has it all! I highly recommend them for any event. I know I will for mine!!!! -

The lighting was absolutely magical! It created a festive atmosphere and added a whimsical charm to my daughter’s vintage backyard wedding. Your lighting installers were prompt, professional and went above and beyond to ensure that the lights were perfect. Watching my daughter and her new husband dance together under the warm glow of the market lights is a moment I will forever treasure. I strongly recommend Ambiance Lighting Pros without any hesitation! Danny and Michelle were a pleasure to work with before, during, and after our parents' 50th Wedding Anniversary. They patiently answered all my questions and concerns, offered excellent suggestions, and had more than reasonable prices. They responded to my calls and e-mails promptly and always made me feel that I was in good hands. Not only is Danny a lighting pro, he is a problem solver, and an honest businessman. I wouldn't trust anyone else with such a momentous event.
At the day of the event, they arrived promptly and set up all the lighting without a hitch. They transformed a somewhat standard ballroom, into a stunning venue with gorgeous lighting. They created the perfect AMBIANCE of elegance, warmth, and golden celebration.

Working with Danny was a breeze and of all the vendors we solicited for our wedding day, he was by far the most flexible and quickest to reply to our inquiries. I worked with him entirely over email and everything was set up just as we discussed and within our agreed upon budget. I sent out quite a few bids for lighting, and Danny and his team came in with a full service package quote that blew us away! More than being affordable, Ambiance Pros really delivered on our wedding day, illuminating perfectly the gorgeous outdoor backdrop we chose for our ceremony. We would absolutely call Danny again with any lighting request! -

Lighting, lighting, lighting.
It was an absolute MUST for us when we got married this past August.
At first, we went through a friend of a friend who knew somebody. (Which almost never turns out well, BTW.) Apparently, they thought we were made of money because the cost to pull off the lighting for our reception would have been the cost of a new car!
After much research, we met up with Danny, who owns and manages Ambiance Lighting Pros. We told him our wish-list (we're of the Go-Big-Or-Go-Home variety) and surprisingly, he said that he can give us everything on our list and STILL come in below our budget. My jaw nearly dropped to the ground! We paid our deposit and signed on the dotted line before we even left that first meeting.
The day of the event, we were floored by how great everything looked - from the floor to ceiling draping, to the double projectors and monitors, to our wall-to-wall uplights, to our pinspots, to our monograms...everything looked perfect.
Thank you Danny and the rest of your team. Our wedding reception turned out spectacularly! Thank you for making my lighting dreams come true :-) -

After shopping around, Ambience had the best prices. Not only was there lighting awesome, but they brought extra lighting just in case and didn't charge me!! Not to mention their onside staff. They were the from beginning to end!

Danny and his professional team at Ambiance Lighting Pros created the most beautiful lighting atmosphere. The Dorothy Chandler Pavilion is already a beautiful venue, but Ambiance took it to an entirely different level. Very creative lighting effects, great pricing, super professional team. Ambiance Pros is a good name for this company because they are true professionals. Danny Villa was a pleasure to work with. I met with at least 3 different lighting companies in the OC area and none of them came close to the service Danny provided. Those companies were all fluff where Danny cut straight to the point to help materialize your lighting vision. Danny was always responsive to give updated quotes and even visited our venue in OC (they are located in LA) to scope it out even before we put down a deposit. Their company works high end events such as the Golden Globes but take special care of weddings because they know how much they mean to couples. Also, they were the most cost effective company we met with.
I highly recommend this company for your lighting needs. -

I highly and enthusiastically recommend Ambiance Lighting Pros.!!! Of all the vendors for our wedding, they had the best customer service. Danny, the owner, was an extreme pleasure to work with. He has a great "can-do" attitude, responds very quickly, and the end product was amazing! Our guests and even us were all blown away by how beautiful the lighting was. We also rented a projector & screen and had no problems what so ever. You can definitely feel rest assured and worry free on your big day. We've already recommended them to my brother-in-law's wedding, and they booked him too. That should be more than enough proof that they supersede any other lighting vendors out there. I could not have asked for a more beautiful party, outdoors in my yard with Italian-style rope lighting laced between the trees, and soft color on the leaves and trunks of the larger trees. My guests were so impressed. The lighting made the party very festive and and yet sophisticated. Danny and the crew of Ambiance Lighting Pros were there the day before to set up, double-checked the day of, and were totally dedicated to making sure that everything worked and looked the way I wanted it to. I highly recommend Ambiance Lighting Pros for all these reasons, in addition to being very nice, engaging people! -

We hired Danny Villa and his team for lighting services for our wedding and they did an amazing job. everything went well, they were on time for lighting set up and finished in a timely manner. Working w/ Danny has been easy and no stress. We checked out about 4 lighting companies and interviewed them via telephone, but chose Ambiance Lighting Pros because Danny sounded like a straight shooter and that his lighting decor on his website was the best we've seen. Prices were very reasonable as well. We even paid them and extra fee since the distance was far and out of area simply because we trust them rather than going w/ a local vendor that we didn't quite feel comfortable with. Glad we hired Ambiance Lighting Pros for our wedding. -

Danny and his crew were extremely responsive and professional. We researched over 10 lighting companies they are by far the best value out there. They were able to convert a plain basketball gymnasium into an elegant wedding venue for 300 people. The guests were blown away by the professional setup and detailed execution of the ceremony and reception. Enthusiastically recommended! -

We were looking for last minute lighting and after calling over 15 other places, I came across Ambiance Pro Lighting. Consider the other 15 quotes i got for simple centerpiece pinspotting, Ambiance blew every single quote away by far. Danny was extremely helpful in every way and he will do his best to help you out anyway he can. Dont look any further cause he really cant be beat! -

So there were only a few things that were really important to me for our wedding, and lighting was one of them. I was willing to cut back on flowers and other rentals to splurge on lighting for our outdoor reception - and it was worth every penny! Danny and his team did such an amazing job with the lighting at our wedding. It really transformed the feel of the event. Danny came to personally scout the space, gave me a quick quote, and delivered when the big day arrived. I highly recommend this company! -

Danny Villa and his Ambiance Lighting Crew were amazing! ;) Ambiance did our weding reception lighting this past weekend at the Monrovia Courtyard Marriott! The lighting made a regular hotel ballroom look elegant! Worth every penny! You can skimp on other aspects of the wedding except lighting! Danny and his crew worked with my budget (which was on the lower end) but still delivered quality service. I liked the fact that he didn't deliver too many promises, he just DELIVERED THROUGH ACTION, period! He knew that I did not have a lot to give and yet he still hooked me up with more than he probably got paid for. He has a lot of experience, a great designer but is still able to remain humble. Him and his staff responded to my emails right away and answered all of my concerns and always picked up my calls! Danny is also a very nice person...just ask and he will be upfront with you. As a very cautious person, Danny even made sure to give me receipts for all of the payments I made. I guess I got lucky that all of our wedding vendors were pleasant. The technicians were also on point! They came early to our event to set up and left very late...waited for all the guests to leave before their tear down. Most of all Danny tried to contact me after the event just to make sure I was completely happy with the turn out. My husband and I were more than happy!!!!!! Outstanding and professional service, and the quality of their work surpassed all our expectations!! Danny at Ambiance was the first person I called when shopping for lighting vendors, and after calling more than a dozen other local vendors, it was blatantly clear that Danny and Ambiance were the most reasonable in pricing, and most curteous on the phone. (Its not often that happens!)
We recently hosted our wedding in Los Angeles, two weeks ago, for over 400 guests. Needless to say, we worked with numerous vendors (catering, video, cake, photo, limo, lighting, flowers, etc). Without a doubt, Danny at Ambiance Lighting was by FAR the most professional, curteous, flexible, and reasonable individual we dealt with. (Not all our reviews of our vendors have been this kind, but it was truly a pleasure for us to work with Danny and Ambiance). I highly recommend Danny and Ambiance Lighting. Danny and team were great. Very accommodating for somewhat of a last minute request. Lighting was something that was more towards the bottom of my want list but after the wedding and the feedback from everyone on how nice the light was and how it really set the mood, I think that lighting is something well worth looking into. There prices were great even for a budget wedding. The set up and tear down never came as an inconvenience to the country club. To anyone out there thinking about doing lighting but not sure if it is worth the cost, I would recommend at least giving Danny a call and seeing what he can do for you. It was worth it for us. -

It's very hard to put into words just how great Ambiance Lighting and Danny in particular were for our wedding. We first contacted them just a month before the wedding and they couldn't have been easier to work with. Our vision was executed to perfection and at less than half the price of other estimates we had received. The lighting turned an ordinary venue into a beautiful room fitting of what my wife had imagined. I really can't say enough for how well Ambiance did for our wedding, but I can say that I could not be happier with how it all turned out. -

Danny at Ambiance Lighting, Pros Inc., made all of my wedding dreams come true. My lighting was more beautiful then I had ever had imagined. As I walked in my reception hall, tears of joy poured down my face. The lavendar and sage lighting just lit the entire room and transformed the entire hall into my fairy tale dream wedding. I would highly recommend Ambiance Lighting to anyone. Danny was able to work with my budget. So please don't let money get in the way one of the most important days of your life. I was extremely pleased with the service provided by Mr. Daniel Villa and those at Ambiance Lighting Pros. Mr. Villa provided exceptional service, and was sensitive to my needs and concerns as a bride. The lighting was awesome, and there were not any problems with set up or take down of equipment. Danny and the whole crew from Ambiance Lighting Pros made our unusual wedding venue beautiful, warm and welcoming. We had our event at a nightclub with an enclosed (but not attached) "garden" area, which was a bit rough looking. Danny made great suggestions and recommendations, while also being tuned into the look we were going for. Between some simple draping, a little "red carpet" action to connect the indoor and outdoor spaces, and the overhanging little italian bulbs, the space looked lovely - totally appropriate to both the space and the event. When the day before the wedding the set-up didn't look quite like we thought it would in our heads (to no fault of Danny's, just that we ended up liking different kinds of bulbs better), Danny was totally patient and quick to switch gears a bit and make some tweaks to make it perfect. They were also really attentive to our tight budget, and didn't try to up-sell us like so many other wedding vendors do. Calls were always returned promptly, and site visits and meetings were a pleasure and arranged around our venue's limited opening hours. It was a really great and pleasant experience - Danny and all his guys are really nice and professional and we'll definitely be calling them again if we need to dress up a space for an event. -

Danny and his crew are the best! My wife and I really didnt consider lighting our venue until we got close to the event and by that time our budget didnt allow for too much. Luckily I ran across Danny and his team at Ambience Lighting Pros! He worked with our budget, met us on site and worked with us on every detail of his service. He even lit the dancefloor with our custon wedding logo which was so nice a photo of it ended up being the cover of our wedding album. Take my word for it, if you're looking for lighting there's no need to look any further, you found your guys. My wife and I are so happy with their service we still talk about it almost a year later. We highly reccomend Ambiance Lighting Pros! -

Linda was responsive, frequently emailing me back within a couple hours.
Quality of work on the day of the wedding was great--everything we expected.
Price of service was good--I did a lot of comparing (I do investment research for my day job, and so I'm good at researching comparisons).
They even went to my venue prior to the wedding to see how everything would need to be set up and compliant with my venue.
Any time I needed an adjustment or had a question, Linda was quickly let me know how things would work out.
While Ambiance executed well, and with speed and a good price, my only suggestion to achieve a perfect score would be to have brought some new perspective that would make my wedding even more awesome.
I recognize that a company has a finite amount of time to provide the best service, so I don't hold it against them. I just wish, as I do with a lot of the vendors, that they could have brought some ideas that would have made my 1930s Shanghai wedding theme even more awesome than the ideas that I came up with.

Danny and Ambiance Lighting did a fabulous job for our kids' B'nai Mitzvah! We met a couple times before the event to scope out what would be needed and Danny came through with great prices and amazing quality. He knew exactly what the room needed to be transformed from a ballroom to a real magical party. We were very happy with the end product and never worried about any of it. They also provided the audio visual equipment for the video montage. They showed up, got the job done, did a beautiful job and cleaned out without us thinking twice about any of it. Thanks! -

Thank you Danny and Ambiance Lighting Pros for putting together a great lighting scheme. I know we pared back a bit on the lighting design, but you were able to work with our budget and needs. Both Ann and I were happy and pleased with the colors and lighting effects displayed there at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.
Your work supplemented perfectly what we needed. An our guests were very pleased with the overall effect. You were very flexible and accommodating in working with us, and I enjoyed working with you.
I highly recommend Danny with Ambiance as he was able to work with a complex Disney Concert Hall lighting set up as well as providing his own LED, Pin Spotting, and Gobo lighting for our wedding. He was professional to work with, and made the lighting design process easy. I highly recommend him for your weddings.

They arrived at the venue and began set up as soon as it opened. During set up, they offered a number of customizations and were very flexible with our furniture arrangements. I definitely recommend Ambiance Pros for any event, Danny is very creative and works with the customer's concept. -

So, I was referred to Ambiance through a friend who knows the owner. I had a quote from another lighting vendor and Danny agreed to beat the quote by a landslide offering much more than the other company was offering for cheaper, which we liked. So, we hired them and I had one big question on the colors they offered. I asked, via email, what shades of blue they had and if they had peach. I did not get a response, at all to my question. I continued to research and look at photos with different lighting colors and decided on peach. So, I emailed Danny that I would like the peach lighting. So, eventually we got an invoice that indicated the peach lighting and the details of the contract. So, we paid in full and awaited the big day and the beautiful lighting.
The lighting on my wedding day was blue, not the peach that we agreed on. My coordinator let Danny know of the mistake after the wedding and she indicated Danny intended to call or email me, however I have yet to receive anything from Danny since. Very disappointed in the responsiveness, professionalism and quality of service. The blue lighting looked good, but it wasn't what we wanted or what we paid for.
Update on my review... Two months after my wedding Danny did get in contact with me and gave us a $100 refund because of the mistake on the color of lighting for our wedding. All together he gave us a $350 discount on the lighting.

COME THE BIG GROOM AND BRIDE DANCE AND WE GOT A HUGH PLUME OF FOG......... THE EFFECT WE WERE HOPING FOR FAILED!! DANNY'S EXPLANATION WAS WEAK, "THE BRIDE WAS INCOURAGED" TO HIRE OUR TECHNICIANS TO RUN THE FOG MACHINE, WHEN ASKED WHAT WAS HIS TECH GOING TO DO THAT ANYONE WHO WOULD OF BEEN INSTRUCTED BY HIS SET UP GUY COULD'NT DO.... HE THEN WENT INTO THE ICE MUST HAVE MELTED, THE SET UP TOOK PLACE AT 12:30, WEDDING STARTED AT 2:30, COUPLES DANCE WAS AT 5-5:30PM REALLY DANNY YOU EXSPECT US TO BELIEVE DRY ICE WHEN PLACED IN A INSULATED CONTAINER WILL MELT IN THAT TIME FRAME........ OVERALL GRADE FAIL!! -

Stay Away.
Terrible! I paid them $1300 in December of 2019 for a wedding in 2020. I postponed my wedding to June 2021 and I have called Danny Villa multiple times, emailed MANY times and NO ONE has responded to any contact. They cashed my check in 2019 and have basically stolen $1300 from me. -
