I have no words for Amber. She is perfection! I booked Amber before I even booked a venue that is how bad I wanted her. Working with Amber quickly became a transition from client to best friend. She makes you so comfortable behind the camera and captures the essence of the moment perfectly. Even my husband who HATES photos enjoyed taking all the engagement and wedding photos. Amber is the best in the game and your wedding will be perfectly captured with her! She is also great with flexibility- our engagement photos were going to get rained out and we were traveling from out of town! She tracked the weather and moved everything around so that we could have our dream engagement photo session at the Biltmore. That was the first time of many going above and beyond for us as her clients! Cannot wait for her to be our friend for years to come and newborn and family photos one day! -

Amazing photographer
We cannot thank Amber enough for capturing our wedding day. From the moment we hired Amber, we knew she would be the perfect photographer for us. She is so professional and really tries to get to know her couples from the very beginning. All of my friends who were planning their weddings were so jealous that my photographer sent a book with tips for engagement pictures, wedding day, and timelines. It was so helpful to when trying to make decisions throughout the planning process. Amber was able to work with us to meet via FaceTime before our wedding day to connect to ensure that our wedding day was not the first time we would be meeting since we live out of state. On the wedding day, her and Mitchell made us feel so comfortable and allowing us to be ourselves and truly capture our emotions in our wedding pictures. They are the sweetest couple and made sure we were taken care of all night. They were also so patient with our dog to make sure they were able to capture great pictures of her with us as well. Amber also ensured to have a sneak peek of our wedding pictures ready for us the morning after our wedding which was so nice to be able to share with friends and family. We are so thankful we got to spend our wedding day with them and highly recommend them for any photography needs you may have. -

It's hard to put into words how special Amber Hatley is to me. Her beauty radiates from the inside out, and the person behind the camera is just as perfect as the images you see on her site. I did not know Amber before hiring her for my wedding, but I had a feeling I was going to love her from her beautiful and natural images full of so much laughter and joy - not to mention her sweet and genuine captions. From our first conversation on the phone a year before our wedding (which lasted an hour because we couldn't stop talking!), I knew my initial thoughts were right and that our wedding would be in the best of hands. I immediately booked Amber for our Biltmore wedding. Not only was Amber my wedding photographer, she also became a very close friend of mine throughout our wedding planning process. Even though I have only known Amber for a year, I feel like we have been best friends forever because that's the type of person she is. From our sunrise engagement session and my bridal portraits, to our wedding night Amber captured every single special and intimate moment with grace and the biggest smile on her face. She's creative and always goes the extra mile to get the PERFECT shot. The first time my husband and I met Amber in person was at the Biltmore Gardens at 5am. She was so full of energy, excitement, and love (and had just had her precious baby girl less than a month before!!!). Seriously, she can do it all. Amber had the same energy, excitement, and love from the first time we met her at midnight on our wedding day as she was taking our exit pictures. She truly is an angel on earth and her work is the most beautiful and unique. Amber always had sneak peeks available for us within 24 hours and was just as excited to show us the images as we were to see them! She loves her clients, prays for them, and will go above and beyond to make sure your special day is what you have always dreamed of. She even went to our venue at Biltmore days before our wedding to make sure she had scouted out the most perfect locations for all of our images rain or shine. I would always update Amber on every little detail about our wedding and she always had the best advice and was so genuinely excited just to hear what I was up to. Amber's Christ-like spirit is contagious and she is forever our family photographer!!! Amber and her husband, Mitchell, are a DREAM TEAM. There are no words to express how grateful I am for this sweet friend of mine. A wedding photographer is a very special and important job and there is no better person than Amber Hatley. HIRE HER!!!! -

Amber and Mitchell were an absolute JOY to work with. Leading up to the wedding, Amber did everything to ensure she knew what was important to us to capture our day and took any obstacles that came up in stride. She puts her couples first and genuinely wants them to enjoy their day and that joy is showed in the photos she captures. She has close relationships with other vendors and works with everyone so that the bride and groom don't have a thing to worry about. I could not recommend this team enough. -

Let’s face it every bride wants to have the best photographer possible and it can be a stressful task choosing the right one. The first day Amber and I spoke on the phone her little boy Haddon was sick and talking with her that day I could just tell she was the sweetest, most genuine and caring momma and photographer! And I was 100% right! Our personalities fit perfectly with one another. Taylor and I were really nervous about taking pictures professional, but during the engagement session she made us feel like naturals and put our minds at ease for the wedding day. I mean what photographer would hike up to the top of Craggy Pinnacle for a photo right after having baby Scotlyn… AMBER! She also talked us into doing a first look and it was the best thing we could have done! Spending that extra time with just each other was so special. Her and Mitchell were the cutest helping us with our wedding portraits, they even showed us a couple of poses before we did them (perks of having a husband and wife team)! They were so organized and handled our large wedding party and families with ease. When we received our wedding gallery we were over the moon! We love EVERY. SINGLE. PHOTO!! They truly show the joy, happiness and love throughout the whole day! Our friends and families can't stop talking about them! Amber will forever be our photographer and I am so blessed to have gained a new friend! Xoxo -

Not only did she produce amazing photographs but her genuine love for her clients gave us an incredible sense of peace and comfort. My husband who hates getting pictures done was so impressed by Amber and her talent that he has asked when we'll set up another session with her. When I first talked to her on the phone as I was deciding on my photographer-- I instantly knew just by our short conversation that I would be taken care of on my wedding day and that we would get along so well. She is so full of life and so passionate about what she does! I wanted more than just someone there taking beautiful pictures--I wanted someone who truly understood how desperately my fiancé and I wanted the love of Christ to be on display. She captured some of the most unbelievable moments and memories that I will forever hold onto and have. Her work is so beautiful and I have had countless people rave about what an incredible job she did. You will NOT regret choosing her to have by your side on your big day!
