We could not have asked for a better experience with Amber! Our pictures came out beautiful and she was so organized it made taking pictures easy. My husband and I don't love having our picture taken but Amber and her assistant made us feel comfortable and made taking pictures an enjoyable experience. She kept track of the timeline throughout the day keeping us on track and was able to keep organized a very large bridal party. My family and friends all said they enjoyed working with her throughout the day and we have received so many compliments on the pictures! I would highly recommend Amber!!!

Experienced Vendor Makes for a Wonderful Wedding Experience
We loved working with Amber, in the months leading up to the wedding and especially on our wedding day! We liked her work from the get-go, her editing style matches our everyday style very well, but we were still so so impressed with the gallery she sent us! Her photos are impeccable and they make everyone and everything look phenomenal!! amazing wedding photos!
We booked Amber for our 10/01/23 wedding in Lake Placid, NY. We know about her through friends of ours that have gotten married and we instantly loved her style of photography. We first got behind the camera with Amber during our engagement photos and we knew that we were in good hands for our wedding day. She is friendly, professional, and makes you feel comfortable. Not only that, but we love how she was very organized and set up a day of timeline, which helps an anxious bride feel at ease to know how her day will go. I cannot say enough good things about Amber! From my first conversation with her, I knew that she was someone I could really vibe with and would enjoy spending time with to capture my special day (you spend a lot of time with your photographer!). Amber (and her team!) is very professional and organized - more so than most other vendors I have encountered, which was very appreciated. Throughout the planning process, she was very easy to communicate and share ideas with - and doing so always left me feeling calm and assured. Amber was truly my advocate and ensured that we had a wonderful day with beautiful photos. Amber was easily the glue that kept our wedding day together! She had an organized timeline for us at least a month before the wedding which really helped us plan out our day. She was extremely professional and very timely with responses. As someone who is not the best at planning an event, Amber really talked me through the day and made sure everything was perfect. We got our previews of our wedding photos extremely quick and are IN LOVE with them! Amber captured our day perfectly. I cannot say enough great things about Amber. Our family and friends loved her and so did we! Selecting a photographer to capture the biggest day of your life is not an easy task. I am beyond thrilled that we chose Amber.

Amber exceeded our every expectation! She was absolutely wonderful to work with throughout the wedding planning process, and was very thorough with her explanations of timelines, and what shots we would be doing. On the day of, she and her assistant Carrie were punctual, and kept everybody on track for timing! They were both the sweetest people to work with. To make it short and sweet, Amber is absolutely amazing to work with! We ended up doing our engagement, and change the date (originally 2020 bride) pictures with her as well. I was super nervous for those but amber quickly put me at ease. She’s professional, personable, organized, and most importantly so fun to work with! As for her photography skills, I think her photos really say it all. Her light, bright and airy vibe is exactly what I was looking for to capture our big day! We are so happy with our photos from Amber. Amber went to college for photography and has formal training. She has an eye for photography and is very knowledgeable. She works with the lighting to capture beautiful, magical moments. Her assistant was super helpful throughout the day and went above and beyond helping me with my dress, flowers and shawl. Amber did our engagement photos, change the date photos, and our wedding. She is creative and makes your photos so special. Amber was great to work with on our wedding day and on the days leading up to it. We found her online and are so happy we did. We got our pictures within a week and all of them are exceptional! She spent so much time with us planning out the photo list, since I have a pretty complicated blended family. The day of the event, Amber kept everything running smoothly and kept her eye on us throughout the whole event without losing focus on who she was photographing at the time. Our guests felt comfortable going up to her and asking for their photo to be taken. We would highly recommend using Amber for any event or special moment you need captured!!!

Amazing - Everyone Should Hire Amber!
We lucked out having Amber as our wedding photographer! My husband and I live across the country in WA state but we got married in MA where I grew up. Not meeting a photographer in person, made me a little nervous at first, but Amber quickly made any fears I may have had vanish. She was so accommodating with our time, video chatting for us to meet and talk about what we wanted for our wedding and photos, across different time zones.
When we met her in person on our wedding day, she seamlessly fell into step, helping us find the perfect locations for photos, and making everything feel easy and fun. We were completely at ease, which is saying something for the day of.
Our photos turned out AMAZING, more than we could have ever asked for. She sent us some early sneak peak photos we enjoyed while on our honeymoon, and her turn around time for the rest of our photos felt very quick. We will cherish these photos and memories forever. Cannot recommend Amber more - you can't go wrong!

Excellent, fun, and professional!!
We used Amber for our wedding as well as our engagement photos last year. She was phenomenal to work with from beginning to end, and our pictures were BREATHTAKING. We ended up choosing a tricky off-site location for photos, and she was so wonderful in accommodating our requests. Even though it started to rain, I cannot explain how amazing the photos turned out. She has a way of making you feel absolutely at ease in front of the camera. She captured every special (and hilarious) moment throughout our night. We’re still having a hard time narrowing down some for our wedding album; there are so so many great shots!! Highly recommended! You will NOT be disappointed!

Amber is an absolutely phenomenal photographer ! She is such a kind women with a great personality. I can’t say enough about her all around . We hired Amber for our wedding on 03/30/2019 . From the moment we located Amber to our special day she made every experience amazing and stress free . She was very prompt , professional and helpful throughout the planning. Amber made sure she went over all our wants and needs and made sure every one of them were successfully met . She made sure our day was everything we’d imagined . As we look back through our photos she did a awesome job capturing every important moment and even some we didn’t think of . She was very flexible and was willing to meet and go over things at our connivence and as many times as we needed . We also had Amber do our engagement photos and again I can’t even begin to explain how happy we are with them . She was so patient with us . We are so grateful we found Amber at just the right time . Wedding photographer
We used Amber for our wedding in Cooperstown. While she has never worked in that area before, she was willing to travel for our special day and even made a weekend out of it with her family. We were so happy with the quality of our photos and she is very reasonably priced. I actually did not even meet her until the big day! Communicating over the phone and email was easy and effective. Would recommend and use again!

Amazing photographer!
Amber was absolutely amazing to work with. My husband and I both hate getting our photos taken, but she made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire process, it was like we'd known her for years! She captured photos in the moment and didn't make us do crazy poses, she kept staging to a minimum which is exactly what we asked for. The teasers the day after the wedding had all of my guests asking for her contact information! The photo gallery had a very quick turn-around and all of the photos came out stunning. I highly recommend Amber for any of your photography needs!

Simply amazing
Amber is a wonderful person and amazingly talented photographer! She photographed our engagement photos and wedding. We love Amber!
I know that everyone would like to think that they booked the best wedding photographer, but we really did book the best of the best. Amber was so easy to talk to and work with throughout the whole wedding process. She has the perfect mix of professionalism and sass, and was so fun to work with. She is clearly a pro and doesn't need to waste time taking 100 shots to get the perfect one. We got teaser photos the morning after our wedding and they are even more amazing than we expected. Amber made us look like we might have a chance at professional modeling in another life, and we're pretty awkward people ;) I can't wait to get the rest of our photos. We loved having Amber for our wedding photographer, and we have had so many compliments on the beautiful photos she took of our wedding day. Crushed it.
We had Amber as our wedding photographer in September and she was absolutely amazing. Throughout our entire planning process, from meeting her to the end of our reception, she was very calm and relaxed which was exactly what we needed. She did a wonderful job giving us guidance during our first look, even when we were feeling super awkward in front of the camera. We just got our photos back a couple weeks ago, and every one of them is perfect. I had initially told her that my (now) husband wasn't photogenic, and he was the shining star of every photo! I have been in love with Amber’s photos since the first time I saw them on social media. So when I started planning my wedding I immediately reached out to her. I very quickly became less in love with the idea of a traditional wedding but still crazy in love with Amber’s work. We ultimately decided to elope, but I still had to have photos to commemorate the best day of my life. Amber was amazing and rolled right along with our changing plans!! And we didn’t exactly make it easy for her. We got married at a hilly conservation area, had our dogs in the photos, and got married at a time with high(ish) sun. But she handled it all like it was just another day and delivered an amazing product! She captured the day perfectly and made sure we had fun in the process. She is very professional, accommodating, and super down to earth! She also finished editing way faster than I ever expected. I would book her again a million times over!!

AMBER IS AMAZING! I really can't express how happy I am with just the preview pics and the blog post. She was so great and these pics are just mind-blowingly awesome. She did such a great job, was fun to work with and I cannot say enough how awesome her work truly is. She got every fantastic shot and never once was in the way for guests. She's not cheap, but she's worth every penny. Do yourself a favor and book Amber immediately. LOVE LOVE LOVE HER!!

Amber was introduced to me through a friend after I noticed a canvas print she had taken of my friend's daughter. I was told it was a candid photo Amber snapped during a family photo shoot. I could tell that this girl had a natural talent and decided to set up an appointment to sit down and get to know Amber on a professional level. Right off the bat, Amber was very personable and made us feel very comfortable. She answered all of our questions honestly and was very flexible when scheduling times to meet and discuss our big day. She also offered some great advice (like using a canvas print of one of our engagement photos as our "guest book" ...love it!) and was always prepared. Better yet, Amber got us our wedding photos in a reasonable amount of time and WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED THEM! We are extremely pleased with our photos and are so happy that we crossed paths. Some things are just meant to be!

amber was the best vendor at our wedding by an incomparable margin! our photos are perfection but amber went above and beyond her role, helping us create and stick to a wedding day schedule. she was non-intrusive throughout the day, capturing all of our most important moments. we were so excited to find a reasonably priced photographer who is so talented and experienced, and we refer her to every couple we know!

It's clear that Amber truly cares about her clients. She is warm and funny, and assertive when necessary. It's important to have someone that can advocate for the B&G's needs among the melee of other vendors and details. If I ever get married again I'll be sure to book Amber. (J/K...but seriously).

Amber is an AMAZING photographer. We've known her forever and when we got engaged, we knew she would be the one to photograph our big day! She was very responsive leading up to the big day, easing my nerves and answering any questions, silly or not. During the day of, she helped organize and keep everything running smoothly and as near to the timeline as we had previously set up. She was very flexible with what we wanted, shot wise but still put her own creativity into each shot. Turnaround time was extremely short with getting our pictures back. I've heard brides waiting months on end and Amber had them done in a few short weeks. I would highly recommend her for any occasion, so much so, that for my upcoming maternity session, I am traveling 750 miles to NY because she's the best and I wouldn't want anyone else doing them!

Amber made our day so special and got all of the moments we wanted to capture. She was always there at the right time when something would happen or you shared a special moment with someone. She is very creative and plays off of your personal style really well. We did a lot of photos in the woods and on the mountains. She was so great at adjusting for sun and shadows. All of the pictures came out fantastic. And she did a great job with the album. She is the best!

Choosing Amber as my photographer was one of the best and easiest decisions I made during the wedding planning process. I looked at her work online which was great. I then met with her in person and she was so easy to get along with, and so organized. We did engagement photos with her as well as our wedding photos. I love that she does a sneak peak of the photos a few days after and she also gets your photos back to you fairly quick. I could not be happier with my photos or Ambers service. I highly recommend her.

Amber is an incredible photographer! From beginning to end she was amazing. She's organized and has impeccable knowledge of what she does. She is truly passionate about photography which was comforting because we knew all of our pictures would be perfect and exactly what my husband I would want! I was referred to Amber by a friend and have been recommending her any chance I get since she did our engagement photos. Any professional photos that are needed by myself or my family members in the future will be taken by Amber. She not only is amazing at what she does but she's the nicest, most easy going person. Our photos for both the engagement photo session and wedding were back to us so quickly, I couldn't believe it. Words honestly just don't do justice of how happy I am that we chose Amber to work with. Her website does the speaking of her quality of work but to have found someone so nice, fun and easy to work with is just amazing! In addition to quality of work and personality, she is also very organized and knows how to get the job done. She will come to you with a folder of paperwork with everything she will need to know and will contact you and figure out an exact timeline for the day of the wedding. I really appreciated that because this being my first wedding, I had no idea what to expect but I was able to just relax because I knew that everything would get done on time and all the pictures we wanted would be taken.

Amber was affordable and satisfied our time requirement which we loved! We found the perfect photographer in Amber. She was flexible, responsive, professional, and willing to accommodate our specific needs. Before the wedding day, Amber works very closely with you to make sure she understands your goals, what you're looking for when it comes to formal portraits and couples shots, and what your vision is for the photography for the day. She also offers excellent professional advice about the timing for the day and how to make all the photographs you want happen. We Skyped with Amber a few times before the wedding; she probably spent 2 or 3 hours consulting with us before the wedding day. When I first met Amber the morning of my wedding day, she reached out her hand to shake mine and I was confused because I had forgotten I hadn't technically met her! Amber felt like a long-lost friend who I hadn't seen in a while and I felt comfortable and at ease with her. Amber made sure to get us our photographs in a timely manner after the wedding and she feels strongly about giving the couple their original photos (you get the files). That was a big thing we were looking for and she didn't disappoint. Overall, I would highly recommend Amber to future clients. She made our wedding even more special and I'm so glad we have beautiful photos to remember our day.

Amber went above and beyond not only to get amazing pictures from our wedding day, but also to make sure we were taken care of throughout the day. Before the wedding, she was so good about communicating with us, and even recommended an incredible spot for our first look. During the big day, she was great about reading me to make sure that I wasn't getting worn out with formal pictures and indulging my husband with the different pictures he wanted to set up throughout the night. She also made sure to get a few good pictures of everyone at the wedding, and of everything that was happening at the cocktail party and in other parts of the reception that we missed, which was so much fun to look through. After having friends and family members with bad wedding photographer experiences, Amber was the polar opposite - she was the best! And the pictures are amazing!

My husband and I used Amber for our small wedding and I don't think we could have made a better choice! From the initial meeting she was very flexible and easy to work with. Never having photos taking I was worried it would be awkward but Amber was amazing about getting great shots and not feeling like she was in the way. She was very relaxed and joked with us. She is willing to try new ideas and even trekked with us up a mountain to get good shots! I would definitely recommend Amber to anyone looking for a photographer! She was very helpful in assisting me to create an accurate timeline for the day (which I had no idea about). Her rates are very reasonable and she even created a special package just for us because of our small budget. She went out and purchased some props that we wanted for photos and she stayed longer then we had contracted for. Our photos turned out beautifully and the USB in the matching box are very well done. Amber was an incredibly sweet, attentive and flexible photographer to work with. From our first phone call, we felt right at ease. She listened to everything we wanted, made a few professional suggestions (that were SO helpful!), and worked with us until we felt comfortable and confident a game plan for the big day.
One of our initial concerns was having a photographer who might be pushy or interfering with intimate ceremony moments (for both ourselves and our guests). Amber listened to us and worked her magic with a long lens. We truly appreciated her services and recommend her for any couple getting married.
Oh! She also created leather-bound wedding albums for us afterwards (an extra charge, but one that we budgeted for as gifts for our parents and and extra one for ourselves). We are all grateful for everything she'd done for us. She really captured some magical moments. Thanks a million, Amber!

Amber did an amazing job shooting our wedding. She was with us all day and helped us get all of the pictures that we were hoping for plus more. Her professionalism and experience put both my husband and me at ease and she made our day stress-free! Not to mention that her pricing fit within our budget and we were not disappointed wth the quality and number of photos. The other great thing about working with Amber is that we have all of the edited pictures. She includes a custom USB stick that has all of the shots from the day which means that we can share these with whomever we want; we truly own what we've paid for-not something that all photographers include without charging extra. She didn't balk when my bride brain kicked in and I asked to take pictures we had already taken; Amber gladly indulged my forgetfulness without hesitation. With Amber's fantastic talent, we have beautiful photographs to help us remember our special day forever.

Based on her portfolio I could tell that Amber's style aligned with what I had envisioned. She did not disappoint and absolutely captured the moments and details in a natural and beautiful way. Amber was extremely calm cool and collected when we had to completely rework our wedding day plans the day of due to bad weather. She improvised and definitely made the most of the situation, getting creative (and wet). We may not have been able to get all the nature/outdoor photos I had hoped for, but the results were better than I could have expected! I also felt that Amber and her assistant did a great job of being there to capture the moments but not being in the way, something I have experienced at other events, which was very much appreciated! Amber was fantastic to work with and I would highly recommend her!

I chose Amber Bauhoff for our photographer for our upcoming wedding on 8/29/2015. We used Amber for our engagement photos this Fall.
It was a freezing cold day when we did our pictures, but she had a very upbeat attitude! She did a really nice job on our photos, and we received many compliments. We also had a friend who signed a contract with Amber after our recommendation.
She is a very sweet, down to earth person. Very friendly and professional. I would recommend her as she has some very affordable packages as well :) We are looking forward to see our wedding photos from her, and I'm sure she will deliver!!!!
