Handfasting Ceremony was PERFECT!

Paula was absolutely amazing!!!! We wanted to do a handfasting ceremony for our vow renewal and she executed it perfectly! She made the ceremony personalized to us and helped us with writing our vows when we had writers block. If anyone is looking for an experienced officiant that is capable of catering to any special requests and have a very lovely ceremony I highly recommend hiring Paula! I will be recommending her to my single friends when its their turn to tie the knot as well. Thank you so much for making our ceremony so fun, loving, and overall wonderful Paula!!

Paula is the Best!

Paula was very sweet and always kept in touch with us. She always replied quickly to any questions we had. We told her we wanted the most simple ceremony possible and she respected that entirely and followed through. Her personality made us both feel very comfortable and we were both thrilled with how the day went! She even went above and beyond snapping a few photos for us.

Paula was great!

Rev. Paula Bradley was amazing. We had a smaller ceremony with close family and friends. We sent her our vows ahead of time, and she printed them out for us to have at the ceremony.

She kept the ceremony short and sweet as requested and incorporated our blending of glass for the unity portion. She was on top of everything and got our witness signatures while we were getting pictures done.

We would highly recommend her to everyone. Thanks Rev. Paula!!!!

Absolutely amazing!

Paula was absolutely amazing, and I cannot say that enough! She went out of her way to make sure our ceremony was personalized to us and included details that made us laugh and smile and brought the fun we wanted to our ceremony. She was great in going over details and asking us what we wanted for our day and made sure we were included in each step. She was so fun to talk to and engage with and I knew I didn't have anything to stress over and she took care of everything! I am so so thankful we found her and had her for our special day- hire Paula! She is AMAZING!

Paula presided over my parents 30th vow renewal and we could not have been happier!! She was very flexible and came to our beach house and performed the ceremony right on the beach ! My husband and I wanted a small, intimate ceremony with just the people who would add to our celebration. We also planned our wedding over a few short months. Ms. Paula understood everything we wanted our ceremony to be, just by emailing back and forth. She helped make the process of creating the ceremony stress free. She provided options for readings, offered pre-written vows (even though we wrote our own), and took the time to understand us. The specifics of our relationship that she added to the program was perfect. She even used a quote from one of my emails to her. It made everyone laugh and a few tear up. I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking for an officator.

We did not have a traditional ceremony or request and Paula did not blink. She was responsive, provided suggestions, listened to our input and understood what we needed. She centered it around our requests and went with the flow. We live in another state and wanted a certain date to be our anniversary but did not have time to do all the legal stuff so we did a commitment ceremony using a handfasting ritual. Paula was familiar with that and its history. She was able to come to the beach where we were staying and conduct the ceremony. She incorporated our narrative and vows into a nice pamphlet for us to keep and brought a beautiful box for us to store the cords used in the handfasting in. She also provided us with a professional looking certificate about where, what and when that she signed. We didn't have a photographer but she took some pictures for us and took some with her camera and put them on shutterfly for us to access. She was friendly and down to earth and just what we needed. I know from some of the materials she shared to give us ideas that she has officiated fully traditional weddings too. I have no hesitation in recommending her.

Paula was great to work with. She was very helpful in providing options for a non-traditional ceremony. She provided tons of reading material several months before the wedding to allow us to make our ceremony truly "ours". We spoke on the phone about 8 months before the wedding and she completely made me feel at ease - she also has a TON of great stories. Come wedding day, our entire ceremony was personalized to me and my husband - she even made mention of our furkid Bonnie! After the ceremony she stuck around and took some photos of me and my new husband and made a super cute announcement on Facebook. I would absolutely recommend Paula!

Reverend Paula is absolutely amazing. My husband and I wanted to have a ceremony that was highly personal but still incorporated traditional elements and of course, a little fun! And when asked what my favorite part of my wedding was, it was hands down our ceremony. Rev Paula is magical with words, weaving together stories and people and will make your day so incredibly special.

I spent many hours talking to Rev Paula and getting to know one another-- she is a truly special person and I feel honored to have had her officiate our wedding. I cannot say enough good things, she is simply, the best.

We would advise couples to meet with Paula personally. Getting to know her and her us - face-to-face was well worth the time. All of our initial contact was by email and phone to set up but we asked to meet her face to face a couple of weeks before the wedding when we were in the area. We were able to develop a comfort level with her and discuss the varied locations in the home (and outside) for the ceremony. As an older couple, our wedding was a small, very personal affair with our children and Paula fit in nicely as a member of our family. She enhanced the day with her personal touch of our love story and how significant our children are in our lives. Very touching! Very lovely! Very perfect!! I highly recommend her.

She married my husband and I in February at topsail beach and let me be the first to tell you that she was absolutely amazing. She did such a good job it was so beautiful! The vows she read off to us and the stories she told us actually made me tear up. We did the joining of the sands and it was absouktelh stunning. She even gave us a personalized book with our names in there which I thought was so cool! I highly recommend her! She was so sweet and super professional! 5 stars for me and my husband!

Paula is great! Our ceremony was customized to fit us. We met for dinner and talked about "us" and how we met. When she put our ceremony together it was as if she knew us forever. She added the little details that made everyone laugh including us. I cried during the entire ceremony and couldn't hear her when I had to repeat my vows and had to ask her to repeat them a couple of times. It was perfect! I cannot wait to see the video because I know it will be great!
We chose to do a beer ceremony because we like beer and wanted to be different. We didn't want to have the same ceremony everyone has. She did her research and made it work! Everyone loved it! Thank you Paula!

Paula was amazing! We requested our wedding date and asked if we could be pronounced at 12:12. We wanted an outdoor ceremony on the beach, but even though it was the coldest, windiest day of the year at Ft. Macon, she just rolled on with our plan. She had the ceremony timed perfectly at 12 minutes even played a beautiful song that fit our story. We were truly touched and amazed as we had only emailed back and forth a few times.

Reverend Paula Bradley was a joy to work with! My husband and I were very set on a date and it was with short notice that we got in touch with her. She worked with us to do whatever she could to accomodate us and by the time the wonderful day came - it was in the midst of Hurricane/Superstorm Sandy! Rev. Paula braved the very unfriendly elements to be there for us and she created a very intimate and personal wedding. Paula made my wedding ceremony absolutely perfect. My family couldn't get over how beautiful the ceremony was. I told myself I was not going to cry but of course I did! Everyone got a kick out of the fact that my husband had to put vaseline on his finger to get the ring on! I did not get to speak to Paula as much as I would of liked to before and after the ceremony because as the bride naturally I was all over the place but my family and friends said she was extremely friendly and professional. The pictures were great too! I have all of my seashells from the shell blessing in a vase as a centerpiece in our dining room. Thank you for everything Paula!

Reverend Paula was so wonderful in how she helped my husband and family get ready for my arrival. She performed a beautiful ceremony..so much so that my sister-in-law wants to look into getting her degree to become a minister. Thank you so much Rev. Paula. You made the day more enjoyable and I couldn't be happier with our ceremony.

Paula was wonderful! She is such a sweet woman who cares very much about her job and the happiness that she brings to the couples that she works with. She was very professional, flexible and was available with a short notice. She made us feel very comfortable and stress free. The copy of the ceremony that she made for us was beautiful and matched our beach theme. I would highly recomend her to anyone who is looking to get married. Thank you so much Paula!

Paula was amazing! She was warm and friendly and very easy to work with. She had many options to make our wedding ceremony fit our personalities and blending of our families. I had absolutely no stress at all concerning the ceremony. I highly recommend her!
