Donna at Amazing Face is amazing!

There are so many amazing things I could write about Donna and her team! Donna worked with me for two weddings (I was a covid bride!). We had a small ceremony with just family and the large event this past year, and she made me feel absolutely beautiful both times! She's also an incredible facialist. In between weddings, I frequently got facials from Donna and she makes my skin look at flawless as possible. I definitely plan on continuing to visit her. :)

It is hard to find a starting point on this long list of fantastic things I have to say about my experience with Donna and her amazing team of artists.

To start, it is important to note that all 7 of my bridesmaids, and BOTH the mother of the bride AND mother of the groom ALL loved their hair and makeup. How often do 10 women all collectively have rave reviews about their makeup and hair? Donna and her team knocked it out of the park for me and my girls. Seriously, everything down to our eyelashes and lipstick lasted well beyond the wedding after-party!

Absolutely amazing!!

Donna and team were absolutely amazing! She worked with myself and my very large bridal party to make sure that everything was executed flawlessly the day of the wedding. Not only was I extremely happy with both my hair and makeup, but my entire bridal party (including moms!) said it was the best experience they have had thus far as a bridesmaid. Donna was very patient with me as I did a few different trials and still did not know how I wanted to style my hair the day of my wedding. She worked with me to figure out what would look best and make me the most happy! She really got to know my style and personality which added to the whole experience. I would HIGHLY recommend her services, she is absolutely wonderful!!!

I have never felt more beautiful

Donna did a wonderful job on my hair and makeup for my wedding day! I had a vision in mind of a romantic feel for my hair and wanted natural makeup with a bit of a pop in my eyes. Donna listened to what I wanted, and never tried to talk me into something I wouldn’t be comfortable with. She made my vision come to life. I absolutely loved how everything came out and have never felt more beautiful in my life.

Wonderful hair and makeup experience!

Second time having Donna and her team working on myself and my friends and family. The first was for my wedding and this time was for my cousins as per my recommendation. She always delivers! Hair/Makeup Wedding Trial

I just had my hair/makeup trial with Donna and she is a grade A+ professional. Donna will work with you to ensure you have your dream look even mapping out a timeline with you to help you achieve the look you want i.e. growing out your hair/eyebrows/etc.

Donna really listens to you and gave me thoughtful suggestions on color, style and everything in-between. Having a stylist who gets you and the aesthetic you are going for is super important on a bride’s big day and Donna does just that. For the extra cherry on top- Donna is warm, caring and funny and fun- I can’t wait to have her on this adventure with me!

We loved Donna!

I couldn't be happier with my experience with Donna. I used her for hair, as I already had a makeup person booked. I was nervous about how my hair would look because you never get to see a trial with the dress and I changed my mind after the trial. When I realized that the forecast for my wedding day was 100 degrees, I was also nervous! Donna assured me that she would be able to be flexible with my hairstyle based on the weather. We also were able to hire her to stay until the ceremony for touchups. She was amazing. I am thrilled with how my hair came out. It surpassed my expectations. Also, my mom has short, frizzy hair and I wasn't sure how that would come out and Donna did an amazing job. My mom's hair was stunning. I highly recommend Donna!

Gorgeous and natural, better than I could have ever imagined

Donna is absolutely amazing. From the minute I met her I felt so comfortable like we were lifelong friends. I had the reoccurring issue with professional makeup where I looked super pale if flash photography was taken. One, I’m tan, so I don’t look like myself in general. And two, this was for my wedding and there would be cameras literally everywhere. I told Donna about my concerns and both at my trial and at my wedding I’ve never felt so much like myself. My husband used to say I didn’t look like myself when I got my makeup done. Not with Donna. I can look at my wedding photos for days. And seeing pictures of us all getting ready and Donna being part of the crew literally warms my heart. She is insanely talented and professional. All my girls were done on time, with time to spare. As if this isn’t enough, she also offers facials for along the way to make sure your skin is wedding perfect. It does not get any better than Donna!

Donna was amazing for my wedding this October. She is incredibly talented but also just a lovely person who vibed amazingly with our bridal party while we were all getting ready. Donna and her team did a amazing job on my wedding day! She really made myself, my bridesmaids and mother look goregous. All of her staff arrived and took their time with everyone despite the snow storm and the roads being horrible. Words cannot express how happy I was with their services!

I chose Donna because both of my best friends used her for their wedding makeup, and I couldn't have been happier with the quality of her work. She was on time and had two extra hair and makeup artists with her to have myself and my 6 bridesmaids ready in time for my 3pm wedding. She's super easy going and really knows how to make a look work on any girl. I even changed what I wanted my hair to look like the morning of the wedding, and she took it like a champ and went with it. I felt like the prettiest version of myself on my wedding day, and all my girls looked amazing. I would recommend her to anyone!

Donna is absolutely the best! Not only is she one of the coolest, kindest, stylish woman I ever met... but her talent is extraordinary! She does everything... Facials and treatments before the big day, hair and makeup (I used donna for my bridal shower and my wedding day!), she stayed with me my entire wedding day to help me for touch ups and outfit changes... all the while always trying to keep me relaxed and smiling even if something wasn't going exactly as planned. From the beginning, Donna was extremely professional and prompt in answering all of my questions. She happily offered to do hair and makeup for my wedding even though I had a small bridal party and it was during the peak season. My hair and makeup trial went very well and I was surprised at her affordable prices considering the high quality of her work. The morning of my wedding, Donna and Gia arrived on time and did a wonderful job on hair and makeup for myself, my mom, and MOH. I still wasnt sure which hairstyle I wanted and Donna was willing to try it a couple ways to see which style I preferred (even though it was perfect the first try) . Donna has a heart of gold and the patience of a saint. She made sure that everyone was 100% happy before leaving and went above and beyond. Donna and Gia both did an exceptional job at lightening the mood and calming me down when things got a bit tense before the wedding. My hair and makeup were everything I dreamed of on my wedding day and I couldn't be more pleased. I would highly recommend Donna and her team. Look no further!

Donna did an amazing job on me at my sister-in-law's wedding 4 years ago, so when I was looking for a hair and makeup artist I knew she'd be the perfect person for my big day! LOVED working with Donna @Amazing Face! Super nice girl and truly AMAZING with hair and makeup. Listened to what I wanted and I am very PICKY! I felt like such a pain in the butt but she was so cool about it! It was nice to be stress free on the morning of my wedding knowing she was going to be the one to do my hair and makeup. It's a good feeling to have complete trust in someone like that. I found her rates to be reasonable as well. She offers hair extensions, hair accessory rentals and touch up kits which she custom made for me with all the things I needed to stay beautiful all In a really pretty makeup bag that I brought on my honeymoon :)

Donna's hair and makeup job on me and my bridesmaids and mom and husbands mom were truly perfect! The colors she used for the makeup complimented everyone's skin tone, and the hair wasn't overdone and was done exactly like the pictures we all showed her from Pinterest. She took 10 years off my moms face! I was worried that I wouldn't find a makeup artist that could work on older women, but my mom never looked better and was so happy she's cried :)
My entire experience with Amazing Face was wonderful and memorable and I have beautiful photographs forever to prove it!

Donna and Amazing Face were my hair and makeup artists for my May wedding. They were my favorite vendors to work with hands down. Answered all my emails promptly, the trial went so well, felt like we knew each other forever! Her and her girls showed up on time and got us all done seamlessly and looking perfect. She knew all about the look I wanted and my makeup was STUNNING! Everything was so blended and even though I wanted dramatic it still didn't look fake or cakey! I had some bad experiences with other local makeup artists and I was really leary about trying another one, but so glad I did! My hair was half up and it lasted all night, the curls were perfect! Really great experience.

Donna is absolutely amazing. I had seen other girls that I know use her for their wedding, but I didn't think I would be able to afford her. When I reached out I realized that her prices were way lower than quotes form other artists! I was stunned and my date was available so I booked her immediately! My MOH and I went to a trial run which was so fun and convenient. It helped to get a visual before the day and Donna was so accommodating to different looks and styles of hair because I wasn't sure about up or down (ultimately went with up) and she nailed the makeup the first time! (Subtle, natural, gold/brown tones with blush and peach) I LOVED it. Donna was on top of everything day of. She was at our door the minute she said she would (even before I was out of bed)! She had additional artists with her because my entire bridal party wanted hair and makeup done, and everyone was completed ON TIME! I can't stress how important this was and Donna was great. I booked Donna for my wedding at The Madison Hotel. She was so pleasant to work with, and really made me feel at ease. Donna was extremely flexible and willing to work with me even though I did not have a large bridal party. She did both my hair and makeup and she did an amazing job. It had to be one of the hottest & humid days of the year and my makeup & hair lasted the ENTIRE day. Every time I looked in the mirror, I had to do a double take. My best friend, who was also my maid of honor, used Donna for her wedding, and she looked gorgeous. SO my decision was made so much easier for my own wedding. When I first met Donna for my trial, I said "I'm a chapstick girl." She laughed and told me not to worry. The best thing I can say about my hair and makeup for my wedding was that I looked like myself. As a girl who does not wear makeup, that's the best thing that can happen when you look in the mirror when you're wearing makeup! Can't thank Donna and her team enough. I booked Donna and her team for my October wedding at The Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank, NJ. She was very professional and responsive from the first meeting, to my hair and make-up trial, and on the big day. I showed her pictures of what I wanted my hair and make-up to look like and it only took her one shot for her to recreate the look during our trial. On the day of my wedding, she was there promptly at the time she confirmed. They managed to do 8 girls for hair and 6 girls for make-up within 5.5 hours. Her team was so efficient, I felt bad that they had some extra time to spare before the next girl was ready, but it was actually fun to hang out with them because they were so chill and friendly - it felt like one big slumber party! My girls were very satisfied with their looks, and Donna was very flexible working with each one. I would definitely recommend her and her team to other future brides!

When I got engaged- I was so excited for every aspect of wedding planning. I couldn't wait to pick out our venue, my gown, our invites etc....the only part that I was nervous about was choosing someone to do my hair and makeup. I did a ton of research and narrowed down my list based on pictures and reviews.

My first phone conversation with Donna was so pleasant and sincere I knew I had to book a trial with her. Since my fiancé and I were paying for wedding, our first obstacle was staying in our budget and the second living in another state from where our wedding location/vendors were. I explained all of this to Donna and she was extremely flexible and ended up working with our budget.

I scheduled my trial with her- showed her pintrest pictures and explained in great detail "the look" that I was going for. She practically nailed my hair and makeup during the trial. I booked her right away!

Fast forward a couple of months to my wedding day Donna came with a team of 2 other girls to my house promptly at the time we had set and quickly began beautifying my 6 bridesmaids (4 of which also had their hair done), my mother and myself. My bridesmaids and my mother looked amazing. When my turn came, I felt so calm and relaxed and I knew I was in good hands. I felt stunning the entire night- my hair stayed in place THE WHOLE NIGHT and my makeup look untouched even though I danced up a storm :)

I would recommend Donna to anyone who is looking for a flexible, personable and hardworking artist for the day of their wedding. She takes time to listen to you and will make sure you are truly satisfied- after all ladies it's your day!!!

Donna did an AMAZING job on my hair on my wedding day! We'd done a trial a few months prior, and she was totally flexible when I vaguely told her that I wanted something different for the big day. Without much guidance from this fickle bride, she whipped up a half-up do that was absolutely gorgeous. And she was able to do it so quickly! In addition to me, she did the hair for 5 bridesmaids, my mother, and my husband's mother (who made a last minute request to have her hair done after seeing the magic Donna worked on everyone else). Donna and her team did a fabulous job! I got married in the morning and Donna was so ready and willing to work around my timeline. Her and her team arrived on site at 6am to start the hair and makeup for myself, 5 bridesmaids, 1 flower girl, 2 mothers, and 2 grandmothers. The room was a buzz with excitement and Donna was ready to go! She had had her wisdom teeth pulled that week but still was all smiles and powered through. We had done a trial run a couple months earlier but my hair length had changed. She rolled with the changes to my hairstyle easily and took the direction I gave her regarding the makeup and ran with it! I felt like a princess and all my bridesmaids looked fabulous! I wanted to incorporate a braid into their hairstyles but not the exact same. So each girl has a flowy, curly, up-do with a braid someone in the mix. They looked fabulous! My hair had tons of volume and was in a curly up-do with a headpiece she worked in on the spot. I was so nervous the whole morning but Donna and her team made me feel comfortable and confident that we would all look beautiful! Thank you Donna!

From the moment I met Donna, I knew she was the right choice for my wedding day hair and makeup. She is very genuine, sweet, funny and just easy to get along with. Not only did she do my hair and makeup, she also did 6 bridesmaids, my mom and flower girl. All of the girls looked gorgeous – they were so happy with how their hair and makeup turned out and lasted throughout the LONG day. Donna and her assistants stayed true to my bridesmaids visions from the pictures they brought in. My one bridesmaid was in a wedding the following weekend and said she liked Donna's work SO much more than the vendor at the other wedding.

It is hard to imagine how your makeup and hair will come together w/ the dress at a trial, but the moment I put my dress on – it all clicked and I felt stunning. I received many complements as well – a lot of people said I looked like a doll- and I attribute that to the flawless hair and makeup Donna provided. I am super sensitive about my hair since it is so baby fine, but I appreciated how non-judgmental she was. I felt comfortable expressing my insecurities, which she in turn made me feel better about by doing such a fabulous job. She is a PRO at working with extensions! I felt beautiful and confident, and that is largely thanks to Donna!

I would recommend Donna without hesitation!

Donna was just amazing to work with, and I am so happy I found her! After having a bad trial with another company, I was lucky enough to find Donna and even luckier that she was available for my wedding date! She knew exactly what I wanted and nailed it on the trial, which made me so happy, and everything came out even better on the day of the wedding! All of the bridesmaids looked gorgeous, and people were complementing me on my hair all night :) I also got the microdermabrasion before the wedding and I'm so glad I did! I received so many compliments during and after the wedding, and I must admit, Donna did most of the work. :) I had a few visits with Donna (a hair and makeup trial, second makeup trial, facial) and each time it was a pleasure. Donna is just so easy to talk to and helped me feel comfortable while also showing me what would look best. After the first hair and makeup trial, I mentioned to Donna that I wanted to try another look, and so I made an appt. for a second trial. I am so happy I did because Donna nailed the look I wanted.

On the day of, she and Tammy arrived to work on myself, my mothers and my bridesmaids. They finished ahead of schedule which made me feel relaxed, not rushed, on my wedding day. She is so wonderful and everyone looked great. The makeup and hair lasted (even in 95 degree heat) and the end of the night photos look just as good as our first look photo. Donna truly does amazing face!

I could not have been happier with Donna and her services! Donna is very talented in the area of makeup and hair! She is the type of person who will not give up until you are totally happy and satisfied! She has a ton of patience! Working with Donna was great. From the very beginning she made me feel very comfortable at the trial and was very flexible with timing. We emailed quite a few times about looks I had in mind, she was very quick to respond with great ideas. The day of our wedding Donna met us at our hotel, arrived early and was ready to get to work. She had two full faces to do and four heads of very thick curly hair. Within a few hours time she sent us out the door looking flawless! The hair and makeup lasted throughout an outdoor ceremony in 90 degree weather, a four hour reception and photos taken outside. AMAZING!

Donna was one of my favorite vendors. I actually used her twice on my wedding weekend (the day after for a trash the dress session) and she was extremely professional and help keep me at ease. I don't normally wear makeup and she was really willing to work with this "chapstick girl" to give me a natural look that was still "stepped up" and special enough for my wedding. For the trash the dress session the next day we went more "rocker chick" and gave me a more dramatic look. Whatever look you are going for, definitely check Donna out.

Donna provided hair services for myself, mom and bridal party the day of my wedding. When we met to do a trial, she really listened to what I was going for in describing the look I wanted for my wedding day. There were 9 of us getting ready, so Donna brought another hair stylist to assist. She arrived on time and we finished ahead of our schedule, which put me at ease that we wouldn’t run late with getting ready. May hair came out beautiful and was exactly what I wanted. She worked with each of the bridesmaids to help them get the look they wanted to and everyone looked amazing! Her prices are very reasonable compared to a lot of other wedding service salons I looked into, and you won’t be disappointed with the results. Donna is friendly, professional and enjoys what she does. I would highly recommend her for your wedding day look!

Donna was a pleasure to work with and I am so happy I found her in the sea of rude, unprofessional, gaudy-makeup-loving hair/makeup artists out there! She did my hair and makeup for my wedding day as well as hair and makeup for my mother, sister and friend. Not only are her prices incredibly reasonable compared to just about all of the others I called (some of the prices are flat out ridiculous!), but she does extremely professional work. Not to mention that she has a great personality, is so easy to work with and is so much fun!

She addressed all of my concerns before and after my trial (I have baby fine hair that is usually very straight and flat so I was worried that the curls wouldn't hold on my wedding day). She was genuinely interested in putting me at ease (I told her about my hair nightmares haha) - she gave me some hair product and gave me specific instructions on how to prepare my hair on the night before my wedding. On the morning of the wedding, she arrived promptly, fully prepared, and with a great positive attitude. The outcome was perfect - I could not have asked for better hair and makeup! I loved everything and was so happy with the results - it was exactly what I wanted (the airbrush makeup made my skin look flawless and she gave me a timeless look that wasn't over the top (per my fiance's request :)) And to my surprise, my hair stayed volumized and curled all night long!! I was beyond happy!! :)

On top of all that, she was able to squeeze in makeup for one of my sisters (even though I didn't originally request that - my sister was so impressed by her that she wanted her makeup done too!). She did a wonderful job on all the ladies - they looked absolutely gorgeous!!

And lastly, as she was about to leave, the photographers arrived a bit early. My sisters and mom still weren't ready at the time and the photographers wanted me to immediately start posing for pictures/video. Donna was on her way out, but she noticed that I was somewhat flustered and needed someone to help, and without thinking twice, she jumped right in and started helping me put on my jewelry, fix my dress, helped my sister put my veil on for the pictures, etc.

Needless to say, I was very impressed by her - her talent, professionalism and generosity (I even did the microdermabrasion with her a few weeks before the wedding - helped my skin look great for the wedding - and it was so affordable!).

Don't be fooled by her prices (and her website doesn't do her justice (sorry, Donna!)) - she is a true professional and the best there is!!

Thank you for everything, Donna! I will definitely be in touch for all my future hair and makeup needs (and so will all my family and friends) :)

If I could give 6 stars to Donna at Amazing Face I would!! She did my bridal hair and airbrush makeup for my wedding a couple weeks ago. I truly never looked more beautiful in my life. The makeup did not budge! I slept in it because I was so exhausted and it was still completely flawless and didnt even rub off on the pillows! My hair was the most unique and modern updo I have ever seen! She did all the girls in my bridal party, timely and beautifully and everyone was completely satisfied, and they are not an easy bunch! Her rates are so ridiculously reasonable that I thought I was hearing wrong when I initially called her on the phone. Donna was simply amazing! I contacted her to inquire about hair and makeup for my sister's wedding. She got back to me immediately and we set up the trial. She was extremely helpful in finding inspirations and hair styles that would suite my sister's personal style.

Donna came to our hotel room the day of the wedding and was organized and professional. She did hair and makeup for the bride, mother of the bride and bridesmaids with ease and flexibility. I used Donna and her amazing crew of girls (Gia and Rachel) to do my wedding hair and makeup, as did my bridesmaids, and I am thrilled to say we ALL were so happy with their work. Donna responded promptly if I had any questions and make me feel like I was in good hands. Day of wedding, they were on time and got right to work. These girls can pretty much create any style you could ask for! Their work is just amazing!! Donna and the girls were great company all morning.

They are a little pricey but TOTALLY worth it. It's your wedding day, splurge on hair and makeup!! You'll be happy you did, I promise!

Donna was incredibly friendly and fun to work with, and her hair and makeup were fantastic. She did a great trial, was flexible as we went through a few options, and left me feeling like a princess on a random afternoon months before my wedding. Trial was very reasonably priced and she didn't give me a hard sell pressuring me to sign up for the whole package right then and there.
She said it was helpful that I had some pictures of things I did and didn't like.
On the wedding day, I had her do hair and makeup for four women (me and three others). She ended up not getting to finish the makeup for one person, which is the only reason she doesn't get a full 5 stars on professionalism (she should have been able to time that better). The girl had her own makeup, so it wasn't a big problem, but I was a little disappointed in that.
Donna was a fun person to be stuck in a hotel room with for hours and hours, helped keep me calm on the day of the wedding. And a huge bonus was how wildly underpriced she was.

I reached out to Donna after reading such great reviews and was beyond excited when I found out she was available on my date. I have had some pretty awful updo's in the past at other salons which made me nervous but Donna did an amazing job. I had two trials that I was very happy with and my hair came out even better on my actual wedding day. I have a ton of hair and she knew exactly what to do with it all and truly created a masterpiece. Her prices were great compared to some of the other artists I reached out to. She showed up on time and every single one of my 7 bridesmaids looked beautiful. She was also able to fit my mother in who was not happy with the updo she got at another salon. A week before my wedding she told me there was a conflict with my date and would be arriving later in the morning but after talking, she made things right and was with me all morning which was very much appreciated. Donna also did a great job overseeing her two assistants. She would tell them to add more blush, less on the eyes, more neutral, etc. She knew the look I wanted and made sure that was reflected on each one of my bridesmaids. I consider myself extremely lucky to have found Donna a month and a half before my wedding. I would use her again in a heartbeat. Thank you Donna for making us all look so beautiful!!

I did a trial with her a couple months before the wedding and it did not meet the mark. I asked for a very natural look and after the trial I looked like a doll. I was super reluctant to have her do my wedding makeup after this, and I communicated with her how I did not like the eyelashes she gave me, and she bought new ones!! But on the wedding day, I cannot express enough, the work she and her second artist (Jennifer) did, was absolutely fabulous. Everyone’s makeup was absolutely perfect. I asked her for a natural look, and she didn’t (but offered to fix it if I wanted)… she did a soft glam and I couldn’t have been more in love with it… like absolutely perfect. The only reason I took off a point was because her and her other makeup artist took a very very long time. Each bridesmaid’s makeup took over an hour, and mine was over two hours, which put us behind schedule and cut my time short for bridesmaid photos. But again, I wouldn’t have changed anything and would book them again in a heartbeat (and plan more time…).

Donna was contracted to do the hair and make-up for myself (the bride) as well as my mother, sister and sister-in-law. From the trial through the day of the wedding, Donna was attentive to the individual needs of our party as well as the specifics for the day of the wedding.

The looks she created for each of us were natural and beautiful. This was the first experience I ever had with a professional beautician where I was thrilled with the results. I felt the most beautiful I ever have in my life on my wedding day in thanks to Donna's great work and guidance.

The looks lasted all day and withstood a hurricane - literally. I highly endorse Donna and her team.

I had eight bridesmaids needing hair/makeup, plus myself and my mom. I had been promised that it would be Donna + 2 other artists, we would start at 8:00am, and we'd all be done by 2:30pm. On the day of my wedding, Donna and one other artist showed up at 8:00am. There was no explanation, no warning that we would need to start earlier. We didn't finish until 4:30pm for a 6:00pm ceremony. Needless to say, the time I had to take pictures was extremely short, and I have very few family pictures and pictures of the bridesmaids/full wedding party to choose from. You can very much see the stress and anxiety on mine & my mom's faces in pictures because we're running so late, and since we had only 10 minutes to do family pictures, 20 minutes to do bridemaid and full bridal party pictures with a bridal party of 17 people, we didn't end up with any shots where EVERYONE looked good, because we didn't have as many shots/poses to choose from. Although my amazing photographer did the best she could to give us enough to choose from, the incredible time crunch we ended up with really limited her. We also chose our venue partially because of all of the beautiful outdoor spaces where we could take pictures, but because we were so incredibly behind, we didn't get to utilize any of those spaces. As a professional who does this for a living, regardless of the reason she ended up shorthanded, she could have called me and said we'd need to start earlier, or she could have advised us that she needed to prioritize who she did first. Had she called me ahead of time and said she was shorthanded, I'd have asked my 2 bridesmaids who did their own hair/makeup beautifully to help some of the other girls. She was the professional, we relied on her to get us done on time, and we were greatly disappointed. As a professional, I would have expected that when she realized how badly we ran behind, that she'd have at least reached out after the wedding to explain or apologize, or offer a partial refund.

would not recommend

Would not recommend. Donna has no respect for a timeline and does not listen even when the bride asks her to finish up. It should not take double the amount of time to do makeup than what even she says it would take. Her hair stylist also didn’t know how to do anything other than curl hair, she couldn’t even layer in hair extensions well. My girls had to redo all their hair. And many of us even had to redo our makeup as Donna was not understanding what was being asked of her. In an otherwise smooth and seamless day, Donna and her team were the only ones causing stress and tension during a time that should have been fun and at least more relaxing than that. Not worth her pricing.
