  Worth every penny!

  Words cannot possibly communicate how incredible it was to have Andrea document our engagement and wedding. Her team and the pictures they take are obviously stunning. Even with a then fiancé who is very uncomfortable taking pictures, Andrea was able to make him feel comfortable and some show capture our quirks and dynamic perfectly. And her ability to be flexible in her editing, getting the exact editing style her clients want, is not only beyond generous, but art at its finest, truly. But what sets Andrea apart the most for us was who she is. Andrea isn’t someone who just sits idly by capturing amazing moments; she CREATES them. She even danced on the dance floor with our guests, spent time teaching me (the bride) a dance, all the while taking amazing pictures of the fun we had. What Andrea does is both art AND relationship. She is worth far beyond what she prices. Our wedding was made all the more memorable because of her, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

  Amative Creative deserves ten stars!

  Andrea and team have been nothing short of phenomenal. Not only did Andrea take the time to talk through the entire process from start to finish and answer all of our questions, but she remained in constant contact before, during and after our wedding. She always answered our texts and calls, no matter what time of day or night! She and her team made us feel very comfortable during our engagement and wedding photos, and she respected our comfort level. The photos the Amative Creative team delivered are straight out of a wedding catalogue--her product matched our vision exactly. She provided 2,000 photos within six months and the wait was totally worth it.
  Not only did Andrea take our engagement and wedding photos, but she connected us with a photographer while we were on our honeymoon in Paris to take additional photos that Andrea then edited and delivered within two days. Working with her has felt like a dream! Andrea and team love their clients like their own family, and we would recommend Amative Creative again and again.

  Fantastic team!!

  I met Andrea from Amative Creative at the Lynchburg Bridal Show and from that moment I knew that I had found the photographer for our big day!! From the start, I loved the flexibility that Amative Creative offered and Andrea perfectly understood our wedding vision. As someone who didn’t totally know what my ‘aesthetic’ was, I loved that I could see samples of different editing styles before making a final choice. In addition, my husband and I don’t live in the city that we were married in and we wanted to do our engagement shoot in a different city. We were so excited that Amative Creative had the flexibility to accommodate our vision of having an engagement shoot in the city we wanted. On our wedding day, we had an amazing team of photographers to capture our day!! Even with a last minute surprise about photo restrictions at our venue, Andrea and her team were able to quickly adapt and capture beautiful photos of our ceremony and for that we are truly grateful! Everyone on the team was so enthusiastic and hyped us up while balancing the timeline. As our photographer, I had complete trust in her directing us in order to capture incredible images from our day & boy did her and the team deliver!!! All of our images were stunning and perfectly captured every aspect of our day! I cannot thank the Amative Creative team enough for being such a pleasure to work with.

  Amazing, very personable and made the experience so much fun!

  Hands down the best photographers!! The team did my engagement photos and wedding photos/video. They are so sweet and make you feel so comfortable. They also give you a lot of hype which makes you feel AMAZING, especially on your big day! Love, love, love Amative Creative!!

  The Best Videography Team!

  My husband and I can’t say enough how pleased we were with our video and our overall experience with Amative Creative! From the first phone call, Andrea was friendly and professional, and she really listened to what was important to us when it came to capturing and editing our video. On our big day, her team came prepared knowing what was important to us, and was able to think on their feet when rain came and adjusted some plans! To top it off, they made all the little moments that much more fun! Once our big day was over, Andrea was professional and communicative with the editing process, and they delivered the most amazing wedding video! I will be honest and say that I have watched it almost every day since getting it back, it truly encompasses all the feelings that we felt on our big day and helps us relive them again and again! We love Amative Creative and I will always recommend them for your wedding videography needs!

  Magical!

  Above and beyond exceeded all expectations! We have now done three shoots with Andrea, and each one is better than before. Our first shoot was our engagement session and my now husband who HATES getting pictures taken left saying that because of her, he actually had fun *gasp*. Our wedding day was a bit hectic, and she rolled right along with it. She kept us all calm and adjusted perfectly to all changes while capturing every moment. Or third shoot she asked if we wanted to go climb to the top of a mountain in our wedding clothes and of course I was thrilled to wear my dress again! This woman will literally climb to the top of a mountain for you. She is sweet as can be, I felt like I was hanging out with my best friend every time we met up. I do an oddly obsessive amount of research into things, so trust me, she is the best. She is a great communicator, even when I wanted to ask a random question not related to pictures in the middle of the night before the wedding, she responded right away. Our pictures all came out magical, it is nearly impossible to choose favorites. The online gallery she creates is a great way to share your images as well as choose your favorites. Our wedding was 6 months ago, and I still chat with her because she is such a sweet person. I think if you are truly having a good time with your photographer, the pictures will be better. That is what she provided for us, and I will be forever thankful. Love you girl!

  AMAZING Videographer Saves Wedding Day

  We woke up the morning of our wedding last June 2019 to find out our friend who was going to film our ceremony wasn't going to be able to make it - all flights were cancelled! We had to scramble to find a wedding videographer in the greater Richmond area who was available THAT DAY to fill in. Thankfully, Andrea of Amative Creative was able to step in and save the wedding day. She arrived early and immediately made us feel at ease. She captured all the most beautiful moments, from our wedding ceremony to our reception, and worked seamlessly with our coordinator and photographers. We've just had our first anniversary and it meant the world to us to be able to watch the amazing ceremony video Andrea provided us. We would HIGHLY recommend Andrea for any and all wedding videography needs!

Many of our extended family were not able to attend our ceremony due to COVID, but were able to "experience" everything through the photos we shared. From bridal portraits, to actual wedding, to even an extra shoot after the wedding in the mountains--her talent and skill is beyond anyone else I have seen! Even my husband (who does not love to be photographed) feels comfortable during our sessions and agrees she is worth every penny and more! We love her and will definitely continue to work with her for years to come!

  I would not have wanted anyone else to be the photographer for my wedding and engagement pictures. She was absolutely AMAZING! Super sweet and easy to work with. Flexibility was also a strong suit. If you come prepared with Pinterest or not, she has great ideas! I will continue using her for photos for other monumental life events! if you want your pictures to be stunning, then you NEED Andrea, you won't regret it!

  I can't express how amazing Andrea and her staff are. From day one she guided us through all the decisions and on our wedding day was honestly so joyful to be around! So professional, yet very personal. Our images came out exactly as we had hoped (we even got previews during our reception!!!!), and it's seriously the best investment we made for our wedding. Hands down.

  Andrea has a great eye for detail, color, and capturing that essential moment in each frame. Her editing is mature and not over done. Working with her is easy and she makes sure the focus is where it ought to be. Along with artistic talent she is very cheerful and helps put everyone at ease.

  So fun and professional!

  Can't wait to work with her again!!! I couldn't believe how comfortable she was to be around. I imagined it would be kind of awkward posing in front of a stranger but it wasn't like that at all. We all had so much fun during our photo shoot that we ended up laughing almost the entire time. Super fun to be around and super professional work. I couldn't have asked for more in a photographer!

  Best investment ever!!!

  On the eve of our first anniversary, coming back to watch our video brought me to tears. This was the best investment in our wedding day and Andrea did such an amazing job capturing all the details and things that stood out to Michael and I. I am flooded with emotion and joy every time I come back to watch our video!
