We used Amanda for our engagement photos. She was extremely professional and made the experience fun for us. Lots of laughing and genuine smiles from everyone. Would definitely recommend her as she will make your special event and memories as wonderful as possible. -

My husband and I had to reschedule our session due to covid and Amanda was flexible and patient throughout the past few months. We loved the work of hers we had seen so much that we drove all the way from Virginia Beach to meet on the TN/NC border. Everything about the location, time of day, lighting and entire evening went smoothly under her guidance and thanks to her impeccable attention to detail we were able to capture pictures that we could’ve only dreamed of. Amanda Wilson did our wedding, and then every special occasion/life milestone thereafter. I could give a list of personal reasons why you should use Amanda, because I have a list and she is a wonderful human, but I’ll just tell you why professionally she’s the bomb. One, when you have Amanda take your pictures she knows exactly what looks good. I’m like Ricky Bobby, I have no clue what to do with my hands. Amanda somehow made me look like I did. Two, she’s flexible. I had no idea what I wanted for pictures. My husband and I didn’t have any particular style or any poses, but Amanda has so much skill in her craft that she knew what style we’d like and what poses looked natural. She did ask us if we had any shot that we for sure wanted, but when my husband and I looked at her like a kid looks at his teacher when she announces a pop quiz she just turned into this superhero with a camera and every shot was a total bullseye. Three, when Amanda takes our pictures she makes the whole experience just that— an EXPERIENCE. These photos from our wedding are all around our house and attached to those 4x6’s are memories that exist because Amanda is such a joy to be around. My husband and I are giggly, nervous messes when someone whips out a camera but Amanda makes us feel relaxed and confident. This was a novel-length review but Amanda Wilson Photography makes me feel a lot of feelings. She’s amaze. -

Amanda's communication and customer service is well above par. She took the time to meet with me before the wedding to look over examples of photos I wanted, to look at pictures of the family to learn the key players at the wedding, and to ensure I had everything I wanted. For out anniversary shoot, her and I communicated electronically for weeks with ideas and examples and made the second experience as smooth and flawless as the first.
We received sneak peak pictures before we could even believe it. I am not sure exactly when we had the sneak peak photos of the wedding, but it was before I could even start to want for them; they were in my inbox before family had gotten to the airport. To have a couple so quickly meant everything. This same experience happened for our anniversary shoot. We had a sneak preview in my inbox before we went to bed that night (our shoot was at 7pm).
Overall, everyone was exceptionally pleased with the photos from the big day (and the anniversary) including myself (bride), my groom and both of our parents, which really says a lot. -
