Amanda is the Best Photographer You Could Ask For
Though Amanda shoots a lot of elopements and outdoor portraits, her photos of both our outdoor ceremony and our indoor reception blew me away! I was so grateful she was able and willing to travel to San Diego for our unconventional wedding at the San Diego Zoo. She has such a delightful presence and really puts everyone at ease. She suggested creative and dynamic ideas for portraits of our bridal parties which had us all laughing and dancing -- and made for AMAZING photos. But what was most important to my husband and I were that candid moments she captured. After seeing the gallery she sent back, I was crying happy tears. She had taken the most beautiful photos of not just the standard events (vows, kiss, cake cutting etc.) but also managed to capture the most beautiful and heartwarming candids, such as my mother-in-law dancing for the first time in over a decade, or my young niece snuggling with my aunt during the ceremony. As my sister said, "Amanda has an eye for capturing special moments." Amanda was clear and communicative about what to expect and what/when she would deliver and we could not be happier with the results. I feel so incredibly lucky to have had Amanda as a part of our special day! -

The best decision I could have possibly made
Amanda… where can I even start. I can’t express the gratitude I have for her. I will hire her for EVERY life event I want photographed. She truly is a gem. She eases nerves, talks you through movements for the perfect photos, makes every moment a FUN time, and the quality of her photos…. Simply chefs kiss. Any time she has taken photos for me, there are so many quality photos that I am in love with, that it is so hard to choose which ones to print because there are so many! She is the definition of creating a captured moment. -

A Gem of a Human!
Amanda was truly amazing. We had a couples session with her in Big Sur during golden hour and she made us feel right at ease for our first photography sesh. She was super flexible on spots we wanted to try and offered options herself, and just showered us with compliments. So sweet! -
