Simply THE best!

We could not be happier having chosen Alyson as our videographer. From start to finish, the process was flawless. Not only is she talented and clearly in the right profession, but she’s genuinely a kind, comforting individual who will make you feel at ease throughout your event. And then the finished product!! — you will cry happy, emotional tears. We received so many compliments from guests regarding the “videographer who was everywhere but never seen.” She truly captured EVERYTHING. And her vision for our highlight reel was beyond our expectations. We will be hiring Alyson again for future events — we’ve even joked/considered hosting another event just so we can hire her again. Highly recommended!

She is Amazing.

Working with Alyson was like working with my best friend who knew exactly what I liked. Having met her the day of my wedding she fit right in.. didn’t even know she was there and the video that came out is absolutely stunning. Brings me to tears (happy tears of course) every time I watch it! Captured every detail of the wedding perfectly! Highly recommend Alyson!!!

Kind, professional and hard working!

We highly recommend Alyson! From the very beginning Alyson was always very kind and very helpful. She not only answered all of my questions but also explained very well how to process worked. Not only is she kind but she is extremely hard working. The wedding day goes by so quickly and Alyson was able to capture all of the moments that were so important to us. She has an amazing eye to detail and this clearly shows in the beautiful videos that she creates. How she is able to record from different angles for the whole day, running around all day but yet making it look seamless and then create a beautiful video that highlights all of the day as well as tells a story, is nothing less than spectacular! The highlight video that Alyson created of our day helps us re-live the best day in the happiest way. The transitions in the video are so perfect, and even when showing our video to friends and family they also have agreed with how impressed they are with Alyson's work. We truly believe that having Alyson as our videographer was one of the best decisions that we made about our wedding day and we couldn't be more thankful!

Priceless memories captured beautifully!

Alyson filmed my daughter's wedding in July, and her work is amazing! She captured all of the special moments so beautifully, and so many moments that were not seen by us on that day but were enjoyable to watch now! Amazing Film Quality and Value!

We are so blessed to have found Alyson for my daughter’s wedding video. Alyson does remarkable work! She discretely and flawlessly captures all of the important details. She is professional, knowledgeable, efficient and has a wonderful disposition. Alyson shot our wedding video in Newport, RI and she accommodated our every request. Alyson was incredible to work with! It was the hottest day of the summer and she smiled through the whole thing! She was kind, professional and got AMAZING footage! The videos she shared were way above my expectations! They were beautifully done, and thoughtfully put together. The videos brought my family and I right back to my wedding day. Perfectly captured our wedding

I was recommended Alyson from our photographer, we talked on the phone and I hired her shortly after that. The first time I met Alyson was at our wedding and she blended right in and was excited for our wedding. She made me feel comfortable and I am not one that likes to have my pictures taken or be on on video. She captured all our beautiful moments from our wedding and made us THE BEST highlight video I have ever seen. Even my husband said, whatever that video cost, was well worth it and he is very careful about spending money. Alyson is easy to work with and very professional. We highly recommend Alyson and have no doubt she will give you an amazing experience and even more amazing results.

Beautiful videos!

Alyson is such an amazing wedding videographer! She was so kind and helpful from day one, and made us feel so comfortable on the day of the wedding. We asked her to capture some comments from friends and family, and she did it beautifully! She delivered the footage super fast after the wedding. The videos have been such a treasure to watch and share with family who weren't there. I'm so glad we invested in this and get to re-live our wedding in a way that wouldn't have otherwise been possible. Thank you, Alyson!

Everything I wanted & more!

Alyson is truly great at what she does!!! She took what I wanted & gave me then some! She started working on my videos right away & she didn’t keep me in suspense about it either! She was fairly priced & worth every penny, I personally think she was worth more! She came in and got right to business, but still helped us have fun during pictures too!! She captured every moment! Highly recommend Alyson as your wedding videographer!

Alyson was truly exceptional! We chose the documentary full feature film for our package and are extremely happy with that decision. Prior to our wedding, Alyson was very easy to work and very accommodating of some last minute changes we sprung on her. She made us feel so comfortable on the wedding day and honestly barely noticed we had cameras around because of how quickly she moves around to capture special moments. Our videos were delivered in record time and with great attention to detail. We are so happy with all of the content she captured and love how it is presented in the videos. I highly recommend Alyson as a wedding photographer!

Gorgeous Wedding Video

Alyson’s work is absolutely phenomenal. My husband and I were originally on the fence about hiring a videographer but I am so thankful that we did and that it was Alyson! We got all the edited footage of our wedding day back and I’ve just been watching it over and over while crying all day. She captured so many amazing moments that we can rewatch again and again. So much happens in the course of your wedding day that there’s no way you can see everything but having a videographer captures so many of those special little moments. 10/10 recommend her for all of your videographer needs. She was such a pleasure to work with and did an incredible job.

Wedding on 5/29/22 - Thank you Alyson!

Alyson was our videographer for our wedding in May. Originally, my Husband and I did not plan to have a videographer but Alyson came highly recommended and we knew we'd regret it if we didn't have any video memories of our special day. She worked with us on putting together a package that would meet our budget and took the time to understand exactly was important to us as far as what she could capture on video. The day of she was extremely kind and helpful and even stayed an extra hour for us when a few unexpected delays occurred that put a little bit of a wrench in our original timeline! We received some of our raw footage of ceremony just days after the wedding which was amazing and I can't wait to see the rest. I highly recommend Alyson for your next video needs! Must book!

There simply isn’t enough things to say about Alyson. From the beginning she was easy to work with. In the midst of the pandemic, and two changes to our date she was flexible and understanding. On our wedding day she was beyond professional, and easy to work with. She captured everything we wanted to remember. The video she gave us was everything I imagined and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I highly recommend her to anyone!

Amazing experience

I was lucky enough to know Alyson and it just added just a wonderful intimate feeling to her already incredible vibe!
She captured everything we wanted and more! I think the best part of her being our videographer is that it did not feel like she was even around, she did a fabulous job of capturing everything but also making it so comfortable that it just felt like we were hanging out!

Would highly reccomend Alyson!

Alyson shot my sisters wedding a few years back so it was a no brainer that my husband and I hired her for ours. She is extremely professional, personable, and flexible. Our plans changed due to Covid19 and we ended up postponing and switching to a different venue and Alyson was able to accommodate our new plans no problem. The footage she captured from the day was just perfect and the highlight video was even better. We will cherish these memories forever! Thank you Alyson!

What a talented videographer!!

Alyson actually videoed a wish for us at Kids Wish Network and it was amazing. Like a wedding, you get one shot a capturing the moment and she nailed it. Her edditing was top notch!!

Special Zoom Video Recording

Alyson is AMAZING! She came to our home to video our family meeting Usain Bolt via zoom. Alyson was so sweet and kind with our boys. She let our son show her all around so that she could make his video something that he will treasure forever. And she did just that. I never dreamed of his video being this special. A 2019 Bride felling you to hire Alyson

I am a terrible 2019 Bride who had a list of my vendors to review and slacked. But better late than never!

2020 and 2021 Brides: hire Alyson. She was one of the best decisions of my entire wedding. I searched around a while for affordable videographers (key word affordable) who also produced a quality video. My now husband found Alyson on The Knot and I couldn’t believe what he had found. Her prices are so reasonable and her videos are up there with the cinema-feeling, beautiful transitions wedding videos you see out there. My highlight video alone is 17 minutes long. It is unheard of to be given such an extensive highlight video, plus all of the Chapters of every part of my wedding on beautiful DVD disks. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve watch my highlight video since my wedding in June. Dozens. Alyson incorporated every song into the video I requested in a way I never imagined possible, and yet it is perfect and feels like the video I was meant to have of my wedding. My family to this day still raves about my wedding video.

Alyson is super responsive, taking multiple phone calls and emails from me when I changed plans just a couple months before my wedding and wanted to extend my day with Alyson to film. She is extremely flexible, reassuring me that it would be no problem to do a 10 hour day instead of a 7 hour day. She also worked flawlessly with my photographer, whom she had never met or worked with before. She is kind and respectful and such a natural with what shots should be done and how the filming style should be.

I could never thank Alyson enough for the wedding video of my dreams. Please look into her work, her prices, talk to her on the phone and you will not regret it. I promise!

We had a small wedding with only 8 guests. Having Alyson film our wedding ceremony was a great decision. Alyson is kind, professional, and talented. Nothing short of perfect...

There are not enough words I can say about how wonderful Alyson was. Through the planning she was easy to talk to and so understanding of my vision. The day of we had some issues with transportation and our ceremony started late. She took the initiative to start filming the photos that were being taken to make the best of the time we had her for. She was so personable and talked with us through the whole experience. My fiance is not one to enjoy being in front of the camera but she made it SO easy. It was like our friend was on the other side of the camera. Therefore she got some amazing footage. She captured our day and our personalities so perfectly. Not to mention she was so patient with our rather large bridal party. I could go on and on. Video was something I was not 100% sold on, but her prices were reasonable and the product was so worth it!!

Wonderful videographer

Alyson Grisham was such a pleasure to work with! We got married at Latitude 41 in Mystic this summer on one of the hottest days of the year. Additionally, our entire wedding party was children. She handled the challenging conditions with grace and ease and I know she captured some beautiful moments. She's completely professional but very laid back. Most of the time you didn't even know she was there!! We've seen the video of our ceremony, which made us both cry. It was wonderful to re-live that moment and she captured all the details of the ceremony so beautifully. We can't wait to see the rest of the video. I would highly recommend Alyson for all of your videography needs. She's a lovely person and you can tell she truly enjoys her profession.

We highly recommend Alyson as a wedding videographer. She is great at her work and really talented with her ideas of what to capture. Memories to last a lifetime

Videography was originally not something my husband and I budgeted for. We didn’t feel the need to share our intimate day online or with the world, but after getting advice from several married friends and even my parents who regretted not having video footage of their wedding day, we took a leap of faith. After some extensive research and moving money around we, by some miracle, found Alyson — I honestly believe that it was meant to be! We didn’t have enough time to meet with Alyson or even have a phone call, but she was willing to work with our budget via email, was extremely organized, and the morning of my wedding when we met I felt completely comfortable with her and immediately knew we made the right choice. Alyson even sent all of the raw footage to us the day after the wedding!!!! We spent our 11 hour layover rewatching our day and remembering every single moment (even the ones that slipped past us as your wedding day truly DOES fly by). Alyson, we can’t thank you enough for everything you did for us on our wedding day. Wedding Day Review

Alyson was fantastic! She captured our special day and we couldn't be more thankful for the product she provided us. She is very reasonably priced and the work she delivers is absolutely incredible. She is a hidden gem and I couldn't be more happy I selected her company. On our wedding day, Alyson and her team were cracking jokes/lightening the mood during an emotional day. During the reception and ceremony, the videographer's weren't noticed by the guests and yet the footage was phenomenal. Her creativity and design skills are extremely evident in the final product she delivered us and we couldn't be more thankful for her services. Amazing videographer with the most affordable price!

One of the main initial reasons we looked into Alyson Films was the affordability. Once we started watching her wedding highlight videos, however, it was clear that Alyson Films was so much more than just being the most reasonably priced videographer. The quality of Alyson's work was impeccable. There was no weird coloring or crazy speeding up/slowing down or awkward cutting of shots. Everything had a natural look and flow to it, which is exactly what we were looking for. Also, for a super reasonable price, you get 2 videographers, a 20 minute highlight video for Youtube, plus the entire unedited footage on DVD. That is truly the best package we saw when we were researching videographers. Finally, when we first met Alyson, she was down to earth and interested in getting to know about us and our love story. Other videographers we met with were strictly business and trying to sell themselves, whereas Alyson focused on what we wanted for our wedding day. Our friends and family have all viewed our highlight video and loved it, and truly see the value of hiring not only a wedding photographer, but also a videographer. We highly recommend Alyson Films as a wedding videographer for the quality of her work, the affordability, and the overall delight in seeing the final product.

Alyson and her team were such a pleasure to work with for our wedding. She made herself available for us to chat many times and answer any questions we had before we made the decision to book her. She worked seamlessly with our photographers day-of. We picked a package that had Alyson and her assistant with handheld cameras along with two stationary cameras at the ceremony. She really captured everything. We loved the highlight reel that she put together, using songs we selected, as well as the extended footage DVD that includes hours of footage from the entire day. My wife is extremely organized and particular when it came to vision for the wedding and Alsyon and her crew did a wonderful job working with us in advance, nailing the executing on the day of our wedding and delivering exceptional finished products. We cannot recommend her enough!

I can't say enough good things about Alyson and Mike. Alyson was so responsive and I could tell even over the phone that she was going to be an awesome person. Her work speaks for itself. Her pricing was the most reasonable I found for what I got and she and Mike went WAY ABOVE and beyond to be flexible and fit everything that was important in to my wedding video. I was not sure I wanted a videographer, and my best friend told me it was the one thing she regretted not having for her own wedding, so I went ahead with it and it was one of the best decisions my husband and I made. The highlight video captured all of the little moments that I kind of missed or forgot about during the ceremony and reception and I'm so happy I have it. Alyson loves what she does and you can tell - I'm so impressed with the highlights and I can't wait to see what the full length DVD chapters will bring!

I couldn't recommend Alyson more! Initially my husband was uncertain about having a videographer but after watching the highlight video and chapter videos, he was so impressed and so thankful that we hired AlysonFilms. Alyson was amazing! From the very beginning, she was very flexible in meeting with us and listening to what we wanted in a videographer for our wedding day. She was also very helpful in guiding us in the areas where we were uncertain with some decisions. Alyson's questionnaire really helped us narrow down the most important aspects of our day that we wanted captured. Alyson and her crew were incredibly professional being on time at each location while managing the craziness of a wedding day and last minute changes. They were unobtrusive throughout the day but managed to capture video through the bride and groom's eyes. The final outcome of the highlight video was unbelievable. Each time we watch it, the video and memories bring tears to our eyes. It is extremely well edited and it brings back the emotions of the day that still pictures just wouldn't be able to do. I can't begin to say enough good things about Alyson! I was a bit of a naysayer on the idea of having a videographer, but now I would say it is the best decision we made for the wedding day. Alyson was nothing but professional the whole time. During the wedding she somehow blended in and I didn't even notice she was there filming us the whole time. And the delivery is beyond! Our highlight video is perfection and the dvd really help us relive the day and see things that we may have even missed.

Alyson was very fun and easy to work with. We loved her energy from the first time we saw her and knew this would be great. We first got our highlight video which we felt perfectly captured us and the night of the wedding. Then we received our finished dvd and were so happy how everything came out. You knew she was around taking video but I guess you forget all the thinsg you miss as the couple when running around with family, friends and the photographer. We were not only able to catch some of the hilarious missed moments but most importantly, we were able relive the biggest moments as well. Alyson was super professional and always kept communications open especially when we knew she was busy. Alyson filmed our wedding in June and was such a pleasure to work with, putting us at ease and gracefully capturing our special day. When we received our highlight video, it literally brought us to tears (along with everyone we shared it with!:) Having recently received the full DVD coverage, we could not be more pleased. Although we initially questioned whether or not to hire a videographer for our day, we realize now how special it is to have it all on film, especially the parts we ourselves didn't get to see (e.g., bridal party entrances, cocktail hour mingling). Alyson did such an amazing job documenting it all and we can't thank her enough! It really encompasses the entire feel of the day and is put together beautifully. Hire her!

Alyson was so professional and so sweet! She was very responsive, very prepared and thorough (she had us complete a very detailed survey of all the things we wanted included in our wedding video before the big day), and very timely. She was present on our wedding day without being invasive, I really appreciated that! She never once took away from our special day and instead helped make it unique and wonderful. She worked very well with our photographer and the guests loved her. And, needless to say, we loved the wedding video. When I was planning my wedding I never intended on having a videographer. I just felt like I didn't need it and it would be a waste. My sister found Alyson and hired her saying that I would be happy she did. She could not have been any more correct. I am so thankful she hired a videographer, and even more thankful that she hired Alyson. She was amazing! She was there but i almost didn't even know it as she was never in our faces or our guests. I saw my high light video today and in 7 minutes she was able to piece together an amazing overview of what our wedding was like. I was speechless when saw it! It brought back all the emotions i felt on that day, i have not stopped watching it! Alyson went above and beyond anything i could ever have imagined. After seeing it i cannot wait to see the full video. She is professional, responsive and absolutely unbelievable at what she does. Everyone who has seen it has said the same thing, itis the best teaser of a wedding they have ever seen. I couldn't agree more and I HIGHLY recommend Alyson!!

Alyson was an absolute joy to work with. She eased any worries we may have had. She was prompt, attentive, and flowed so easily through our wedding. Working with Alyson by far was the best thing we could of done. She was always very pleasant and cheerful and made us feel like our wedding was her ONLY priority. Alyson provided prompt response throughout the wedding planning process. She was flexible, prompt, easy to work with, and cares to do a good job on your special day. I would recommend Alyson for any event. I wish all of our vendors had the same attitude as Alyson. She paid attention to detail and the quality of work was awesome. The cost for her service is very reasonable. If I had to do it all over again I would hire Alyson in a heart beat. She's a professional who is not in this for money. She has a passion for what she does, and she will make sure you are 200% satisfied with her work.
