My fiance and I planned our wedding on a very tight timeline - 4 months from the decision to get married to the wedding day. I am so glad we found Alysha. She listened to what we wanted in terms of wedding photography, and then sent us a customized quote. We skyped a few times before the big day, but didn't actually meet face-to-face until we arrived at the venue for our wedding! She had scoped out locations and orchestrated the "First Look" cheerfully and efficiently. Her photos are amazing - well-composed and beautiful. We didn't have dancing at our wedding but had board games instead, and she got exactly what we wanted - lots of photos of our guests having fun together playing games and enjoying the venue (the National Aviary in Pittsburgh). Many people commented that she seemed to be getting shots of absolutely everything without being intrusive (which is one of my biggest pet peeves about other wedding photographers). She delivered a set of 5 "Sneak Peak" photos on the day after the wedding, and the remaining 547 photos a month after our wedding. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

We hired Alysha for our engagement and wedding photography and could not be happier. She has been so easy to work with and was able to recommend a great location for our engagement session this past fall. The photos we got from that session made us even more excited to see the moments she captures at our wedding in a few months. Highly recommend!

We contacted Alysha only weeks before our wedding. Although our event was small and simple, we still wanted to capture the moment with a professional photographer. For having very little time to prepare, Alysha was completely calm and organized. She met with me prior to the wedding not only to discuss the details of that day, but to personally learn more about me and my groom-to-be. She wanted to know our story, who we were as individuals and as a couple. On the day of our wedding, Alysha was timely, professional, and cheerful. Alysha's creativity flowed freely, and her camera was always ready. Alysha provided us with the final photographs in a timely manner, and she remained in contact with us to ensure our satisfaction.

Alysha has a rare talent for using light, shadow, and time. She does more than just take pictures. She creates art, not with paint and brushes, but with her camera. She captures life in a way that is beautiful, intimate, joyous, and unique. We were more that just "a booking" to Alysha, we were her clients. We could not have found a better photographer.

Alysha Yoder provided beauteous pictures of my daughter's wedding held at our home, in a manner that went above and beyond what I'd expected. She traveled miles, stayed to the end, wasn't pushy, open to suggestion, directed us gracefully through some posing (but NOT much, to our request) all for an affordable price! She is a gem, an artist, gifted photographer and I'd recommend her to anyone in need of memorable pictures!

We have the most beautiful photos of our special day. Alicia captured incredible emotions and expressions from getting ready to the reception dancing. She was super easy to work with. We will certainly use her again for family shoots.

I found Alysha's work on my favorite wedding blog, the Offbeat Bride and fell in love. She was quick to respond, we Skyped with her within a day of contact, and she was as excited about our quirky/nerdy wedding style as we were. It was a very chaotic wedding day for other reasons (as wedding always are), but still she managed to keep us on task and get amazing pictures of us with all our guests, not to mention beautiful pictures in a comic book store and historical alleys of Philadelphia, despite the rain and tight schedule. The pictures were even more beautiful than we had expected and we still smile to ourselves at how well they capture the emotions of that day. In the following months, Alysha's beautiful pictures of our wedding were featured on the same wedding website where I first found her work, completing an amazing full circle of our mutual admiration and collaboration. We couldn't be happier that we decided to go with Alysha, and having become friends with her. We look forward to her unique style of photography in future life events, and follow her brilliant work in the coming years.

Alysha did an amazing job photographing our wedding! She was very flexible and professional. She stayed in contact with me throughout the wedding planning process. She was very helpful when I was trying to decide what specific photos I wanted and she had some amazing suggestions of her own. She fit in very well with all of my wedding guests and she was able to capture some priceless photos. I would definitely recommend Alysha for anyone looking for a wedding photographer!

Alysha was so wonderful to work with!! She is fun, energetic, and has an amazing eye for photography! She created and captured so many beautiful images at our wedding. She made sure to get a list of requested shots from us, and then used her creativity for the rest. We were so pleased with the quality of our photos, and at such a reasonable rate! She really captured the personality of us, our guests, and our event in general. I highly recommend Alysha to any future bride!

We had Alysha do our engagement photos and our wedding. We really loved her work, she was super flexible with our crazy plans. She also worked with our budget, we told her what we wanted and what we could pay, and she put a custom package together. We put our dogs in our engagement photos (who seriously, don't listen and are impossible to photograph) and my horse was at our ceremony (who normally loves photos but just wasn't up for cooperating). Alysha was good about taking pictures on the fly wherever we thought of, unfortunately I was a bit disorganized about the whole thing. She also responded to demands for photos from guests well. I don't want to include her photos here since they aren't watermarked, but her work is well represented on her website or on her facebook page!

My experience with Alysha was great! She was perfectly professional and incredibly easy to work with. She made me feel incredibly confident that our wedding would be captured the way we wanted to remember it. Alysha set up a call with me beforehand to ensure we were both on the same page and figure out what specific shots I wanted to make sure she got. During the wedding, she was great in checking in with me to make sure there weren't any other shots I wanted that she may have missed. Alysha capture all the perfect highlights of our wedding, and I'm so thrilled to have these photos to look at in the years to come.
