Best wedding vendor we experienced

Gretchen brought our vision to life. She created our save the dates, wedding invitations and even made us cocktail napkins that were used on our special day. Not only was she one of the best vendors we had used through out the whole process, but she exceeded my expectations. She was highly professional, punctual and fun to work with!

Wedding Experience!

Gretchen is amazing, she has made my paper worrying go completely away. While in dental school she has shown great patience with working with me and is very quick to answer any and all questions I have!

Timeless + Trendy

Gretchen recently helped me with an invitation for an event that needed a quick turn around. She was responsive and invitations were on time. When I approached her, I didn't have a clue what I wanted or needed. I shared my vibe and end result desired. Gretchen provided me with a design that was timeless yet on trend all at the same time. It was exactly what I didn't know I needed.

Perfect Paper Products!!

Gretchen did such an AMAZING job on all the paper goods for my wedding. The invitations were frame worthy and I received so many compliments. Gretchen is extremely knowledgable, patient, and accommodating. I truly appreciated all the hard work, time and effort she put into making my wedding a day to remember !!!

Getting fun with floral detail invites!

I see lots of invitations as a venue manager and I love all the detail you see in invites from Aly Am Paperie! The invites she did for our venue were so perfectly matched! Highly recommended.

The most beautiful invitations!

Gretchen was incredibly wonderful and easy to work with. She was so patient when meeting with me, my wedding planner and my future MIL and helped us create one of the most beautiful invitations I have ever seen! She also kept our budget in mind and was still able to give us exactly what we wanted! Gretchen also was so great about incorporating any changes I requested--I never felt like I was a hassle to her. She truly loves making people happy with her services and products. We could not have picked a better place to get our invitations, placecards, etc. I'm so glad we found Gretchen and Aly Am Paperie!

Gretchen and her team are always up for a challenge and I seem to throw a lot of challenges her way (i'm a planner!). Her designs are spot on, products are superior and her boutique shop is adorable! Pricing is great and Gretchen tries very hard to meet all reasonable budgets! She's the best!!

Aly Am Paperie is the place to go when you’re in need of paper products and party favors. You can’t beat the professionalism, knowledge, and personal attention provided by the owner herself, Gretchen Olivares. Gretchen will not only work with your budget, but she’ll also guide you on what’s currently in style, and the proper etiquette to word your invitations. As a wedding planner, this is the place where I first send other vendors and my own clients. It’s also the place where I shop for my own personal events.

Aly Am was by far the BEST experiencd with wedding vendors I had the entire time I was planning my wedding! Gretchen was so timely with responding to emails AND getting our wedding invitations (and such) done!! I do not know what I would've done without her during this wedding planning process! Gretchen was absolutely wonderful. When I called to schedule the appointment, she asked me to email some pictures of what I liked and when I arrived she had marked samples to show based on my taste. Within 30 minutes I had picked the design and colors. The invites were so beautiful my family talked about them for months before the wedding, my aunt even took her's to work to show off to her colleagues!

As a bride who over analyzed every aspect of my wedding planning, Gretchen was a lifesaver and a time saver! I am very happy we went with her and recommend her to everyone.

We used Aly Am Paperie for our wedding invitations, programs, table numbers and specialty signs. Gretchen was an absolute pleasure to work with!
Long story short... she worked hard to get our wedding invitations to us in less than a week. We came to her in a desperate panic when we heard our prior wedding invitation company was delaying delivery of our invitations for the second time!
We will be using Aly Am Paperie for our future needs!

Love working with Gretchen at Aly Am, she does beautiful work, always delivers when she commits to, and is very fair with pricing. Her experience shines through in all that she does. This is also a great shop for unique and personalized gifts for every occasion. You can't go wrong shopping here, the hardest part for me is making a decision with so many beautiful items to choose from.

We had the pleasure of meeting with Gretchen from Aly Am Paperie back in October and they were a great fit for our invitation suite needs right from the start. We purchased a digital copy of our invitation suite through Etsy and needed a vendor to produce the actual printing. Gretchen was so great in our initial meeting. Her professionalism and expertise really helped solidify our choice to take care of our printing. Who would have known there were so many textures and shades of white when we were decisioning the final look for the invitation suite! She helped calm my nerves and Gretchen was so accommodating and printed countless samples of the invites so that we had a real perspective of the differences ultimately making it a breeze to make our final decision. Not only did color come into play but I remember her giving me "a mom" answer about the envelope selection I had envisioned. Here she was the owner of the business helping me think of ways to be cost effective! It was evident that the needs of her customers came first, before thinking about the business. The turn around time to get the invitations back was so quick! After our order was finalized and picked up, I found my self in a crisis because I came to realize that we had shorted the count of the invites. Gretchen was so quick to get things situated because she still had the files saved from the suite and she helped get the additional suites printed in no time! Our overall experience was so great that I have since raved about the quality of service and products to everyone I know. Aly Am will definatley be our go to in San Antonio!

I loved Gretchen! I had tried using some of the online websites to make my own invitations and it was nothing but a giant headache. Gretchen made everything so smooth and easy. I love that she gives you an online proof first, then one mock invitation printed, before finally printing the set. It leaves a lot of room for any corrections if needed. The invitations turned out beautiful and she met my timeline without any hassle. Highly recommend her!

PERFECTION! My wedding invitations turned out better than I could have imagined. Yvette was amazing. She used our save the dates from Etsy as inspiration and made custom wedding invitations to match. The process was fun, and even my fiancé was excited about the invitations!

She is a true artist with a passion for her work! We were always greeted with a smile, and we always departed with hugs. What a great experience - and some guests have told me that the invitations are the best they've ever seen! I am so glad we stumbled upon her shop. Highly recommend!

Gretchen has been my saving grace throughout the entire wedding process. I purchased everything from save the dates to thank you cards from Aly Am, and was completely blown away with the finished product each and every time. She has a way of some how understanding what a crazy bride like me imagines her dream invite/save the date to look like and making it BETTER. I work full time and am also a full-time law student, and having someone who could communicate with me via e-mail was so important and invaluable to me.
I also purchased monogramed robes for my bridesmaids from Aly Am. They are worth every penny, costed less, and were much higher quality than the robes that I've seen at other stores. I would recommend any one needing invitations, stationaries, items monogramed, or really anything for any special occasion to Aly Am Paperie! I will also be going back to Gretchen and Yvette for my upcoming graduation invitations and gifts!

We were very pleased as to the invitations looked. They made us look good. Even the envelopes were first class and would encourage anyone receiving it to open it. Gretchen is courteous and gave helpful information. The shop is clean and well kept and beautifully decorated with plenty of free parking.

I used Aly Am Paperie for my sister's baby shower invitations. First off, this vendor is one of the few who will print work that is NOT their own. Secondly, they were so personable, attentive, and just knew how to please a customer. I contacted 5 other vendors before finding Aly Am Paperie. None of the other vendors compared to Aly Am Paperie - that's all I have to say. I recommend this vendor to anyone looking for quality prints.

The customer service was excellent. I was very nervous about getting the invitations on time but Perfectly Wrapped delivered on their promise and the invitations were impeccable. The staff at Perfectly Wrapped were very knowledgeable and helpful in helping me choose the perfect invitation for my daughter's bridal shower. They were able to provide me with the invitations quickly and when I needed additional invititations, they were equally prompt. Megan and Gretchen were absolutely fabulous. I would recommend Perfectly Wrapped to any bride and groom. I was the Mother of the Bride and they were so helpful and professional. Whenever I walked in the store they always greeted me with a warm hello and smile, they addressed me by name. The quality of work was exceptional. I received numerous compliments on the invitations. They always returned my calls. Not only did I order invitations at Perfectly Wrapped, I ordered napkins, unity sand and garter. I would highly recommend Perfectly Wrapped. Gretchen at Perfectly Wrapped was awesome!! She not only did my invitations, but also my cupcake box labels, water bottle labels and thank you cards! I would go back to them in a heartbeat!

Gretchen was a pleasure to work with and the invitations were great. I knew that I didn't want to spend a lot of money on invitations and I wanted to keep it simple. Gretchen listened and didn't try to oversell me anything expensive. Once I finalized the design I wanted, they were printed the next day. I had an issue with the color of the invitation not matching the color on the response cards, but Gretchen quickly printed me new ones that matched perfectly. I have no complaints and would highly recommend this vendor. They have the fancy invites, but for the budget bride, they also have great inexpensive invites. Not to mention that they are custom made. I was able to choose the design, the colors, the font, the size, everything, and still stay within my budget. And I almost forgot that she printed the addresses on each envelope which was less expensive than hiring a calligrapher and made my life much easier!!!!

I had my invitations custom made at Perfectly Wrapped. The service there was amazing. Ms. Worley assisted me in the design process and completed my invitations to perfection in a very short time frame. Ms. Worley helped make my selection special by incorporating beach themes into the design. I would highly recommend this vendor for your wedding invitations.

Everyone Raved about My Passport Invitations

We used Aly & Am Paperie for our travel themed wedding invitations. Our wedding was postponed due to the COVID pandemic and having just booked her prior to this postponement, she quickly assured me that she would still work with us whenever we decided on a new date. I wanted a Passport Wedding Invitation booklet to coincide with our wedding theme and the end product was absolutely stunning! Throughout our meetings in her storefront, she gave us many helpful suggestions with the overall design and diction and how to mail them out. When I came by to pick up the invitations, she presented them in such a thoughtful display with an instructions for the photographer. I would definitely continue to support local businesses and work with Gretchen again, especially since she creates invitations with high quality and personalization!

Gretchen was very flexible with great samples to help pick out my invitations. She helped bring everything together from the proper wording for the invitations to printing vital pieces for my wedding favors. We got a lot of compliments on our invitations and how nice they looked.

Gretchen at Aly Am spent a great deal of time with me, planning my invitations and announcements. We had a change in what we ordered and she handled our request with grace and flexibility. I would definitely order from Aly Am again in the future. They are very customer focused and nice quality.

Really loved how our invitations came out. They were better than expected. Gretchen is great with designs. Only thing I would have liked better was the communication. I would email and not receive a response and have to do another follow-up days later or a phone call. She did come through for us on the appearance, no mistakes and delivered on time as promised. I am relieved with how it all turned out but would have preferred not having the added stress of not hearing back without additional follow-up. Overall a great experience!

I worked with Gretchen at Aly Am Paperie (Perfectly Wrapped Boutique) in San Antonio to create a perfect matched envelope for our wedding invitations. She was most helpful going through every sample she had, and when that failed she suggested we make custom envelopes. The paper was specially bought for the project and color was custom-matched. The attention to detail and service absolutely cannot be matched. I would recommend Aly Am for projects that require that extra special touch to make the event perfect. Thank you for making ours so special!

We chose Aly Am Paperie Stationery & Gifts to prepare our invitations for the Annual Formal Luncheon offered by the wives of the past potentates of the Alzafar Shrine in San Antonio, Texas (a.k.a. the Ladies of the Cabiri) to the wife of the present potentate (a.k.a. the First Lady) and to the wives of the present governing board of directors (a.k.a. the Ladies of the Divan). They helped us chose elegant designs and colors. They worked with us to put together the accompanying cards for the menu, directions, and R.S.V.P. cards and envelopes. The guests could not stop complimenting us on the classic beauty of the unusual pocket invitations. Our only regret is that the seals were not delivered with the order. The invitations were a tad late, so we could not wait for the seals to be printed. Instead, we were offered thank-you-notes, for which we had no use, so we declined. We requested to buy some of the matching bags they used to deliver our order, but we never heard from them again. Notwithstanding, we were very pleased with the invitations, and would gladly recommend their services.

We purchased our programs from Aly Am, they turned out beautifully. They were slightly expensive for the quality of the product, but I would most likely purchase from there again.

I had a really hard time searching for invitations and I knew that I was running out of time when I walked into Aly Am Paperie. They made an excellent first impression. Gretchen was very attentive, they showed me their invitation options right away and made it very easy to set up an appointment. I went to another vendor before I decided to go with Aly Am and they basically showed me an invitation book and told me to pick one- so i felt really good about going with Aly Am even though the price was more than I wanted to pay. However, after my initial contact (and payment) communication slipped and it became clear that Gretchen and I were not on the same page regarding timing. She was always very kind, but sometimes I was not sure whether my emails were received and there were gaps in when I expected responses and when I received them. I would recommend this vendor to someone who has ample time to get their invitations back. Get things like timing in writing so that everyone is on the same page. Additionally, in hindsight, I now know that these invitations are EXPENSIVE and I wish I had been fully aware of all my options. In the end, I had to set a hard deadline in order to get my invitations out with enough time for my RSVP date and Gretchen came through. I really love the finished product. She really does create a beautiful, high quality product.

I don't know where to even begin with this horrible and stressful experience. We went to Gretchen for our wedding dinner invitations Bc I read great reviews. However, they were a disappointment. I showed her what I wanted and she said she could do this, on time no problem. She did not deliver. The quality of the invitations were poor and rushed. The burnt edges of the paper wasn't sealed(like it's supposed to be done) and black ashes got all over the envelopes and insert cards, clothes and hands. We had to pick almost half of them out Bc the back of some of them were extremely burnt and embarrassing to send out. She sent us an email showing us our wax seal but it had the wrong monogram. When I questioned her about it, she got snippy with me. We call her 8 days before the event and explain to her our concerns that nobody will receive them. She reassured us they would be ready the next day so we explained to her we would be going straight to the post office right after to mail them off. 7 days before my dinner at 5:15pm she calls us and tells us they're ready to be picked up. We go to the other side of town to pick them up and when we get there, the invitations were all over the place. She didn't even have the courteousness to put them together knowing our time sensitive situation. It was basically a kit that we had to put together ourselves. She had me in tears Bc we had to beg the post office not to kick us out. She didn't complete the list of guests on the envelopes going out and then there were doubles and triples of the same guests. She also forgot about the rose I wanted with each invitation sent out. These invitations did not even make it to my out of town guests on time.
We also made the mistake of getting our dinner napkins from her too Bc my husbands were the wrong color throwing off our color scheme. For my fiancé paying her in full before the job was completed, she did not take this job seriously for such an important event for us. She also told us that

Aly am paperie has very nice invitations but we had a very difficult time with this place. My save the dates and invitations were not done correctly. questions were not answered I had to ask my questions several times before I got an answer. Paid so much to only end up designing the invitations ourselves and just having them printed by aly am paperie.

Absolutely terrible experience. In short: we paid in full for our invitations in August 2012 so that we could send out invitations by end of December for our March 2013 wedding. After countless emails, phone calls, and run-arounds, by mid-January, we still didn’t have them. We tried to get our money back, but the store owner, Gretchen said the paper cost them over $100. I bought the EXACT same paper for $10 at Michael’s Arts and Crafts store. She would not give us a full refund. All we wanted was Kraft paper invitations with simple white font. Then she said that they needed a special machine to print in white, and that she could only find one in New York. All in all, our experience with Aly Am Paperie was a nightmare. This was by far the most stressful part of our wedding planning. I ended up making our invitations myself in about 5 hours and $50 from FedEx. We sent our invitations out 5 1/2 weeks before the wedding. This is the short version of our problems with this store. The long version is much worse and more of a headache.
