When looking for the perfect fit for hair and make-up for my wedding, it was imperative to me that the artist who worked with my wedding party would work to create look each member of the wedding party wanted, and could bring creativity and flair. I knew our hair and makeup looks weren't going to be traditional - some makeup artists were less than kind about that. Kat was an awesome vendor and all around great person to work with. She organized a timeline for our hair and makeup for the group, and was flexible when we decided to add one more stylist to the mix to save some time. I was worried about airbrush makeup (after having a weird experience with it for another friend's wedding a few years ago) and Kat walked me through the proper ways it could be done during my trial. I wanted a more "natural" look for the wedding day, and she totally nailed it! I felt like myself, but enhanced in a way that made it feel special for my wedding day. Both my hair and makeup were still in fantastic shape after 13 hours of photos, many hugs, and a whole lot of dancing :) If you're on the fence, reach out to Kat with questions...then hire Kat and her team - you will be so glad that you did!

Kat has been responsive, flexible and professional throughout the process. Asking us the right questions but not rushing us. At first she provided sample pictures of her work and it was helpful to make decisions to go with her. The trial session was helpful to get an idea of the style I’d like. Kat is very friendly, easy to talk to and listens to your needs. She did my hair and makeup, as well as my 4 other bridesmaids hair efficiently within 4 hours by herself. I'd highly recommend Kat as your stylist if you’re holding a wedding near Columbus.

As most brides would agree, feeling and looking your best on your wedding day is very important, but not wanting to spend half of your wedding budget to do so is equally important. She was so friendly and easy to talk to which made everything fun and stress free. Her prices were very reasonable compared to other quotes I got. I am so happy that I chose Always Elegant LLC to be my day of coordinator and my hair & make-up artist for myself and my girls. Kat made sure to ask me all the right questions, was very organized, and adapted to the type of wedding/vibe I wanted. For the day of coordinator portion, I did not worry about one thing on my wedding day. We hired Kat in 2019 for our 2020 wedding and had to postpone multiple times due to the pandemic. Kat was flexible and understanding throughout the entire time. When we finally got married in 2022, I was so grateful we could still have Kat there to do my hair and makeup. She was punctual, professional, kind, and caring. It was hard to find a HMA for just 2 people (many of them require a minimum of 5 people) but she cares so much about her clients and wants each bride to feel special. I didn't realize how important it was to find a great HMA for your wedding day until I spent all morning with her. She started the tone of my wedding day. I felt so cared for and calm because of her. My experience with Kat was wonderful. She was great to work with and always responded rather quickly. While getting my hair and makeup done with her on wedding day we all felt super comfortable and like we had all been friends for a long time. My hair and makeup was amazing and exactly what I had wanted it to be! I was really nervous hiring someone who wasn't local as my wedding was 3-4 hours away from home but communication was a breeze and I am so glad with my choice! I highly recommend! Kat does not disappoint!

She saved the wedding and made me look beautiful!
Kat is beyond wonderful! On my big she was responsible for the hair and make up for my mother, bridesmaids and my make up. I made the mistake of having my normal hair stylist do my hair. Not only did she do a wonderful job on the hair and makes you for my party members she also helped clean up a huge disaster. My normal hair stylist insisted he do my hair for my wedding day (big mistake) and he kept me over an hour and half for my appointment... which was going to make me very late for my wedding. Kat waited over an hour and half for me to get back from my stylist appointment, had my make up done, in my dress and fixed my horribly styled hair. She literally saved the day!

We had a few changes in our timeline for the day of and she handled it with no problem. All of my bridesmaids loved her as well. I wanted to change a few things from what we did during my trial and she was all for it. I have never felt more beautiful or confident in my life! I can not recommend Kat enough!

I can’t say enough amazing things about Kat! She is the sweetest and also so much fun to work with! I had two hair trials with her because I had two weddings (an Indian one and an American wedding) and I was SO HAPPY with both styles. Each trial boosted my confidence tenfold that I made the best decision choosing Kat for my wedding! If there was something slightly off about my hair that I didn’t like she was determined to perfect it until I was happy, and she definitely did! She made me feel so comfortable and relaxed the entire wedding weekend also, which was crucial because things can get very overwhelming very quickly on your wedding day! She also went above and beyond to help with the chaos that was going on the morning of my weddings. My other bridesmaids that had their hair and make up done by her were ecstatic with their results! They all looked stunning! I would recommend Kat to any future bride I encounter :)

Wonderful experience with Kat!
Kat was amazing for my wedding!! She was always a great communicator and worked with me through Covid-19. She was so sweet and welcoming at my hair trial and was extremely efficient on my wedding day. She and Hannah got everyone’s hair (10 scheduled) done so quickly that she even had time to do my 2 cousins hair with no problem. She was not thrown off at all when I asked her to change my updo slightly right before I got it done on the wedding day. I would highly recommended Kat - she is professional, efficient and very talented!

Kat is hands down the best. Granted, I havent had professional makeup done before but she made me feel like a princess on my wedding day. She woke up before the sun and met me and my mom to do our hair. She then traveled to Franklin Park Conservatory to do my makeup and my sister's hair. She did everything I asked for and even when I asked for little changes on the day of. I couldnt imagine having had anyone else on my team that day! Kat thank you for easing my pre-wedding nerves and making me laugh and keeping my mind distracted from all the details I secretly started stressing over. You were such a joy to work with and I would gladly recommend you to anyone!

Kat was fantastic! Not only is she such a fun and positive energy, she is incredibly talented. At my makeup trial, she made me feel so comfortable and really listened to my style and what I wanted, even mixing the perfect shade of lipstick. Kat was able to create a natural look that made me feel comfortable and beautiful. She also did all of my bridesmaids’ makeup, and everyone was so pleased with the results. On the big day, Kat worked incredibly well with our hairstylist and made everyone feel calm while still being such a fun presence. Perfect asset to my wedding day
Kat was absolutely amazing and such a pleasure to work with. She was very friendly and was willing to work around my my crazy schedule to do a makeup/hair trial. I am always terrified of telling someone I don't like something or I would like something different but she made me feel comfortable enough that I was able to change a couple of things to make my look everything I wanted. She came to my house the day of the wedding and was also very accommodating with the fact that two of my bridesmaids arrived late. She reworked her timeline and worked well with everyone. We all loved our hair and makeup that day! I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone friendly, professional, easy to work with, and very reasonably priced.

Kat was amazing to work with! From booking our trials to the big day, she was kind sweet, talented and patient. Her vibes and presence are everything I wanted for my big day. Kat was on time had the best equipment, products, and tools she needed to give everyone the look they wanted. I was amazed with how she took the time with each of my bridesmaids to give them their dream look and even more time with me as I was inbetween two styles. She mixed the two styles and my hair was amazing. It stayed in place all nice and withstood the dance floor!! I would book her a million times over and will for sure be calling if I ever get the chance to need my hair done again!! I am so pleased I chose Kat as my makeup artist on my wedding day!! She was so kind and accommodating with what I wanted for myself. I was so concerned with not looking like “me” since I don’t normally where much make up (foundation and eye liner). She knew exactly what to do for me and made sure that I was comfortable with everything! Everyone, including me, was so impressed with my make up that day!!! I received many compliments!! We had our original hair and make up team cancel on us one month before our wedding so I frantically called around to find a new team. When I called Kat she did everything in her power to help us out. Less than 24 hours after I first talked to her she called me back and told us that she was going to make it work. Kat and her team already had a wedding that day but they came in early to make sure that I didn't have to worry. Let me tell you, I'm so glad she did!!! Kat and her team are absolutely AMAZING!! Not only did they squeeze us in, but they did amazing work. The whole team is so nice and so fun, it feels like you all have been friends for years. Kat was absolutely amazing! I searched long and hard for a makeup and hair artist for my wedding day. I found Kat and gave her a call- I instantly knew she was the one! We had a long phone conversation and I booked her super early, but she kept in contact with me! She did exactly what I wanted from pictures I had found on Pinterest and put a personal twist on them- I was worried about being too done-up for my wedding and not looking like myself! I was confident after my trial run that she was the perfect fit for my bridesmaids and I! I went to her in-home studio, which is adorable and professional. I felt so welcomed to her home- she even went as far as putting a personal sign on the door to welcome me. My hair and makeup trial was the perfect kickoff to my wedding! Kat kept in contact with me afterward and let me know who she was bringing day of to help get us done- the 2 girls she brought were also AMAZING! She provided me with a schedule of who was getting done and when. It made or morning very flawless! They showed up right on time and got started! They chatted with us the whole time and enhanced my girls' natural beauty, and they got us done ahead of schedule! It was like having another group of friends there with us, it felt like our morning getting ready was a girl day! They were so personable, kind, and so attentive! I could not have been happier! It helped me remain calm and it was very stress free- it was fun! Kat also left a kit of eyelash glue, lipgloss, and blotting paper- none of it which I had to use or any of my girls actually! My makeup, eyelashes, and hair everything was flawless literally all day through everything- even the heat and tears! I got compliments on our hair and makeup all day and my bridesmaids and mom's were so impressed with her as well! I knew that finding a great hair and makeup artist for your wedding day is important, but I'm SO glad I found Kat! I could not have been happier with her and her services! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Kat was absolutely great! She accommodated all of the changes that I requested after my trial and was wonderful about it! She is extremely talented and was very patient even though I was running late on my wedding day. She not only helped me relax while doing my hair/makeup but I received many compliments on the look. Thanks Kat!!

Kat was patient with me and took the time to listen to my ideas. She made suggestions based on my style and other elements I had planned for my wedding. She was patient and professional while we planned my hair and makeup. Her skills really showed on our wedding day and in our pictures; my face and hair looked amazing all day and night! I would recommend Always Elegant to anyone who asked.

I will never forget our AMAZING wedding day! Kat from Always Elegant LLC was a very important factor in our wedding going so well. Kat was involved in so many aspects of our special day from the flowers and cake to the makeup and hair... Kat did it all and did it well! Kat came to our destination wedding city a week before our big day and made sure everything was in place as it should be. I was so relaxed with Kat in control that I fell asleep by the pool the morning of our big day:) Kat made sure that everything was in order and placed appropriately to create everything that we had ever dreamed of! From the placement of the tables to the flawless arrangement of our cupcakes and flowers, the schedule of the service and the placement of the wedding party, Kat from Always Elegant LLC made our special day one to remember! I will never be able to express my true gratitude but, THANK YOU ALWAYS ELEGANT LLC and KAT!!!!

Kat did an amazing job with my make up for my wedding!! She also did makeup for another bridesmaid and hair for 2 bridesmaids!! She was so great with picking out colors for me which was so halpful with everything else I had to do to get ready for the big day! She was so easy to work with and made sure all the hair and makeup was perfect! She went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy with everything!! She is the most genuine person that I have ever met and you can tell she loves what she does!! Everyone had a great time and looked amazing! Thanks Kat!!

Kat did such an amazing job on my hair and makeup for a wedding I was in last weekend! My hair was exactly what I asked for and I let her pick the colors for my makeup and I'm so glad I did because it was beautiful!

As a girl that is not so great with make up and hair, this was what I was most nervous about for my wedding. What girl doesn't want to look perfect on that very special day! Kat was wonderful to work with! She flexed with me when I had to change the number of people needing services multiple times, provided me a detailed schedule, and also gave me some great ideas on hair and make up. My wedding was in January and we expected some crazy snow the night before the big day! Kat took it upon herself to book a hotel room in the hotel we were getting ready to make sure she could get there. That is above and beyond! Kat made my day easy and made me feel absolutely stunning. I would recommend her to anyone.

A Listening Vendor who helps achieve natural look
Kat, with Always Elegant, did an awesome job. I had been a bridesmaid and had my makeup done several times before and not been happy with it because it didn't look natural. So, naturally enhancing make-up was my #1 priority. Kat listened to my concerns and did a great job executing. it was my favorite makeup yet and both my dad and husband were grateful that "they didn't cake you". Additionally, both my MIL (51) and Mom (63) were very happy with their makeup and they have both dry and oily skin.

Kat did a fantastic job! She was really sweet and made me feel like such a beautiful bride. I was really pleased with how comfortable I felt around her and she encouraged me to voice my likes and dislikes about my hair and make up. I would definitely recommend booking her for your wedding!
