A Dream Come True

The idea of putting together a wedding ceremony was daunting, but Rev. Khrymsun Parker made it SO easy! From our first meeting, my husband and I knew she would be the one to marry us.

She helped us customize our ceremony, and even put up with a few last minute changes! We are so thankful for Alternative Wedding Services! We had the most perfect ceremony, and Khrymsun did a beautiful job delivering it.

If we drove her crazy at all during the process, she didn't show it! I cannot recommend Alternative Wedding Services enough!

Rev. Ari was amazing!

Reverend Ari was nothing short of amazing, accommodating and supportive. Her ability to customize our ceremony while deeply partnering with us to do so was greatly appreciated. Her personable, warm and seasoned approach was ideal for what we needed and we are very thankful we chose her to lead us through it. Very happy with her and highly recommend!!

Excellent preparation and much needed help

My husband and I had no idea what sort of ceremony we wanted for our wedding. It was a tricky balance; formal enough to satisfy the more conservative relatives, modern enough to be meaningful to us. We knew we didn't want to write our vows, and we wanted to keep things simple. Khrymsun helped us by suggesting ceremony styles we hadn't even thought of, and providing templates and ideas for us to work from. She also kept our ceremony running smoothly and made sure we both felt prepared.

Highly Recommend Rev. Ari!

We met Rev. Ari for coffee one afternoon. She was enthusiastic about our wedding, and helping us with our plans. She had lots of ideas and advice. Ari sent us a lot of helpful ideas for our wedding. With over 20 years of experience, she had lots of information available including vendors, venues, and ceremony ideas to name a few. She helped us decide on how many attendants we needed for our size wedding. She had several sample ceremonies for us to read through to help create our own custom wedding ceremony and vows. Ari is extremely responsive. Every question we had was answered quickly. For the rehearsal, she was on time, was coordinated and helped us work the logistics for entering and exiting the ceremony, as well as going through the plans for before and after the wedding. With all of her experience, she is very efficient and knows exactly what needs to happen and when. After the wedding, she was prompt in sending off our license to the county, and sent me information on how to start the process of changing my name. Ari is fantastic. We couldn't be happier.

Unique Ceremony

It was a pleasure working with Rev. Ari on our wedding ceremony. From the moment we first met her, we felt at ease and like we were talking to a friend of ours. Since my fiancée and I were from different religious backgrounds and in a non-traditional relationship, we were looking for an officiant who would respect our ceremony preferences. Rev. Ari fit this description perfectly. She provided us with lots of good information and ideas to incorporate into our wedding ceremony and allowed us to select language that was truly unique and meaningful to us. On our wedding day, she arrived early, coordinated last-minute details with our string quartet, and made sure family members were in their appropriate places. She even noticed that we had forgotten our bouquets in the main hall and made sure we were 100% ready to go in time for our entrance. She did a great job leading the ceremony itself, and we definitely recommend her services. Thank you, R. Ari!

Beautiful, personalized and unique!

Rev. Khrymsun was so great to work with! She's extremely professional and made everything very easy for us. The ceremony itself was nothing but perfect. It was our favorite part of the wedding and everyone else's too. There was not a dry eye in the room! I loved that we were able to incorporate spirituality and handfasting into our ceremony. I will be recommending her to everyone!

Rev Khrymsun made our wedding weekend possible by first working with me on sending me several ideas for venues in her area. She also was a lifesaver when there was a communication error and was easily able to reschedule our date on her calendar (oops)
Price was fair as well. She was professional and polite and made our wedding day one we will always cherish.

We had a wonderful time and Rev. Khrymsun Parker was there through every step of the process. She helped us with creating our ceremony and performed her job spectacularly. I admit I wasn't the most organized person when it came to planning the wedding, but she was always professional and worked around our schedule. Couldn't be happier!

Rev. Khyrmsun Parker gave us the most beautiful and special service for our wedding. My fiancé and i were really struggling to find someone who saw our vision. We met with Khrymsun and she put us at ease straight away. She worked very diligently with us building our vows and the order of the ceremony. She was extremely helpful with all the little details we didn't think of and even gave us a wedding planning check-list to keep us organized. She has a wonderful sense of humor. We were so impressed with Reverend Ari's service. The ceremony was exactly what we were looking for! We got so many compliments from guests about the ribbon ceremony. Because of the many options she offered, I really feel that our ceremony was unique. She also made us feel very comfortable during both the rehearsal and ceremony. Rev. Ari was absolutely wonderful as our ceremony officiant! She provides several ceremony options to pick and choose from to build your own ceremony, and provides incredibly helpful feedback for when you are stuck or missing something. I loved that I was able to build my own ceremony with her rather than just have a standard that was already written. She was also so willing to adjust last minute for us when we decided to perform our actual nuptials at the rehearsal in front of a much smaller group of our closest friends and family as a surprise, which made both our rehearsal and wedding day even more special! There are only wonderful things that can be said about Ari and her services, and I would highly recommend anyone choose her to be your officiant, especially if you are having a non-traditional wedding!

Rev Ari was nothing short of amazing. Absolutely amazing. We are not your traditional Dallas couple, in that we had no interest in getting married in a church. We didn't want blessings and prayers, and we definitely didn't want an officiant who would push their own beliefs and agendas on us. We were so relieved to find Ari, who worked with us as we transitioned from one booked venue to another, and was so committed in helping us have the perfect wedding day. Every meeting we had with her was so positive, informative and fun. With her help, I wrote our ceremony, and her delivery on our wedding day was beautiful, emotional and hilarious all at the same time. We couldn't have picked a better officiant. After the wedding, she gave us a copy of our ceremony, mailed our certificate and sent me info on changing my name. We LOVED working with her, and would recommend her to anyone. Thanks Rev Ari!

Reverend Khrymsun was great from start to finish!
At our 1st meeting, she guided us through our options in ceremony types and showed us all the potential wording choices they have available to mix and match.
She helped remind us of timelines by email and even checked in with us closer to the date.
She arrived in a lovely black dress and did a great job directing the ceremony and reading the script we chose together in a meaningful way.
I would definitely recommend Rev K to anyone and any type of couple!

Reverend Ari was our officiant and she made our day absolutely perfect. She was quick to answer all of our questions, had great ideas and suggestions to help us out, and truly made certain that everything turned out exactly as we had wanted it. She was extremely charming, funny, and heartwarming and made our ceremony better than we could have imagined. Rev. Gray was above and beyond what we had desired from an officiant. She was very cooperative and very accommodating. I highly recommend her services if you are in search of any type of wedding ceremony, religious or not. She is very knowledgeable and educated us on the history of weddings and reasons for some of the traditions many people follow. My husband and I were provided materials from Ari which allowed us to make our ceremony unique and individualized to our tastes.

Reverend Ari of Alternative Wedding Services was simply wonderful. She performed our large, formal commitment ceremony in 2009, and when marriage became legal for us in 2015, she happily performed a small ceremony to "seal the deal". Reverend Ari is warm, compassionate, and eloquent. She has many alternative and creative ideas to offer when choosing and personalizing the elements of your ceremony. Rev. Khrymsun Parker worked with us to help us build a ceremony just for us. She doesn't judge if you have some weird requests or put things off, our first meeting with her was approx. 2 weeks before our wedding. Rev. Khrymsun was friendly and from our first meeting an absolute pleasure to speak with and work with. She responded quickly when we would send emails asking questions or requesting her assistance with a certain part of the ceremony.

Alternative Wedding Services has a cache of knowledge about wedding traditions from a wide range of cultures and religions and they have ceremonies already written that you can use if you don't want to take the responsibility of writing or making changes to personalize your own. It is also easy to arrange payment for Alternative Wedding Services through paypal so you don't have to remember one more check in the middle of your planning.

The whole experience was fabulous! She really took the time to get to know us and was able to make suggestions we used in our ceremony. My fiance and I are far from traditionalists, and we didn't want our ceremony to be religious-leaning at all. We wanted something to simply reflect who we are and why we are together. Which is pretty hard to find in Texas, even in an area like Dallas. So we were so relieved when we finally met with Ari and she turned out to be so awesome. She gave us a huge amount of feedback and worked with us to figure out what would be perfect for our ceremony. She let us tweak the pre-written wording and create something unique to us. She was hilarious, and made every part of it easy and enjoyable, and I wound up being much less nervous about it all than I thought I would be. She's fantastic, and I would very highly recommend her to couples looking for an alternative officiant.

Ari is a riot and a half. When my fiance and I first met with her, we knew right away she was the right person to officiate our big day! We're far from a traditional couple, and she had so many resources and ideas that helped make our ceremony as 100% unique and special as our relationship is. She even did a dead on impression of the "impressive clergyman" from the Princess Bride at our rehearsal and got some serious laughs from family and friends. Guests are still coming up to us and saying how special, unique, and beautiful the service was and that's 100% due to Ari's expertise and willingness to help us come up with the perfect words.

We love Reverend Ari! She was so helpful in writing our ceremony, and did a beautiful job in conducting it! Rev. Khrymsun Parker performed our wedding and it was everything we could hope for. We were looking for something unique and fitting in with our fantasy/Celtic themed wedding and Rev. Rev. Dayl from Alternative Wedding Services was wonderful! She was very responsive and always emailed me back promptly. We met with her to get an idea of what she offered and if we felt comfortable with her. She was great and after we signed a contract she emailed several ceremonies. We were able to cut and paste from a few of them to put together a meaningful ceremony for us. She even helped us incorporate my stepdaughter. Rev. Ari Gray did a great job.

She provides extensive materials to let you build your own wedding. You can choose a set option or mix and match as much as you like. You can even brig in your own materials. She also really prepares you at the rehearsal.

She did a fantastic job during the ceremony and since she was so detailed in the rehearsal, we knew exactly what to do and when. She is a great speaker and really infused the ceremony with meaning. It was so much better than the civil ceremony we would have gotten from a Justice of the Peace.

We're not religious and Ari was a great option for a meaningful ceremony without religion. I don't even think my religious family noticed there was no mention of God. All they said was how beautiful the ceremony was and how touching it was. Of course, there are also plenty of options with more religious ceremonies if that's what you want.

We highly recommend her!

Arianna Gray was the officiant for our daughter's wedding on June 20th. We had an international contingent and Ari was there to walk them through the rehearsal the evening before. She scored some serious points before the ceremony when she helped steam some wrinkles out of my dress; her willingness to jump in wherever needed was something I hadn't expected! The ceremony was magnificent, and that was largely in part to Ari's clear voice, calm demeanor and genuine happiness to see the bride and groom married. I highly recommend Ari for any type of ceremony, as she has great options and ideas and can clearly meet individual needs. Thanks, Ari!!!

Ari was so much fun to work with. She was so flexible with us, conferencing via Skype while we were living in Hawaii. She has SO MANY great ceremony plans and suggestions! My wife and I spent half a day combing through her very organized options to pick and choose what was best for us. She was so helpful in making it a very special and intimate ceremony. She knows a LOT about weddings and rituals! She is eager to help you fit in whatever you want into your ceremony! We were grateful for all her knowledge about Hawaiian customs, and we loved the lei exchange she included in our ceremony. I’ve had so many people tell me that it was the most special ceremony they had ever been to. We highly, highly recommend her!

We decided to get married in a matter of days. We already had the marriage licence and in just 2 days Rev. Khrysmsun Parker helped us put together a great small ceremony. The wedding was held just before our Thanksgiving meal and was a big surprise to all of our friends (the kids knew before hand). The ceremony performed was word perfect and it felt tailored to our feelings. Rev. Parker had sent us 3 samples and we crafted one to our needs. Rev. Parker is charming and was the perfect wedding officiant. We recommend her highly.

Me & my husband decided to elope, due to unforeseen circumstances. We needed an officiant asap and we found Alternative Wedding Services. Rev. Khrymsun was our officiant. She's had no problem with the fact that I am an atheist and my husband is agnostic.
She's sweet, funny, organized, punctual, made us feel at easy and took care of all the details. We did a civil/hand-fasting ceremony and it was just lovely.
Next year on our one-year anniversary, we are having a vow renewal ceremony & reception for family & friends. Rev. Khrymsun will officiate for us again!

Ari Gray made our wedding evening beyond special. We got married on roller skates and she wanted to be a part of it and put on some skates herself! She kept us focused during the most important vows you're crying through and organized everyone to participate in the roller skate ceremony. Her presence with us on our special day made us feel comfortable and confident in her business. She is relaxed, and highly professional. I gave her 5 Stars, would've been more if the scale would go higher!

Rev. Khrymsun Parker from alternative wedding services was a pleasure to have and a fantastic officiant! She helped my husband and I create the perfect wedding ceremony that encompassed all the elements we desired. She allowed us to be creative and incorporate as much (or as little) as we wanted and we had the perfect ceremony!! Rev. Khrymsun is knowledgable and open to all wedding traditions and was very easy to work with. She was on time and organized for the wedding. She also took care of our marriage licenses and mailed them promptly and gave us a tracking number so we would be aware of it's location. Would definately recommend her for anyone looking for a unique and customized wedding (or even if you want a traditional ceremony)

Rev. Ari Gray at Alternative Wedding Services (www.altweddingservices.com) was the officiant at my wedding, and she was wonderful! She was able to meet with me a few weeks before the wedding, and we discussed what my fiance and I desired in the ceremony - we aren't religious, and she was happy to help me plan out a non religious ceremony that was very heartfelt, personal and meaningful to us. She helped us build the ceremony, and met with us early to go over everything on the morning of the ceremony. The ceremony went perfectly, and everyone said it was the best wedding ceremony they'd ever heard - that it felt so real.

I would absolutely recommend Alternative Wedding Services if you're looking for an officiant who cares about you, your fiance and your ceremony, especially if you're looking for something "out of the box" - unusual, non-religious, or spiritual. They are great!

Ari was incredible. She provided us with several ceremonies that we could mix and match with. We were able to create our own special day completely! Well, with her amazing words :). Reverend Ari is fantastic! She is very knowledgeable about all kinds of wedding traditions, and helped us incorporate some of our Irish heritage into the ceremony. She has lots of suggestions on how to make the ceremony flow well. She was able to provide lots of sample ceremonies for us to pull from to put together something that matched our own tastes. When we couldn't find just the right opening for our ceremony, she provided a bunch of other samples to look through. She was also able to work in other things we had found on the internet, and put all our disjointed ideas together into a beautiful ceremony. Everything transitioned well and you would never know that we had pulled from so many sources. She did everything we wanted just the way we wanted it. A++, highly recommend!

We hired Rev. Gray of Alternative Wedding Services for our wedding this past Friday and we were extremely happy with her help and services. We originally planned not to have a ceremony, as were not going for a traditional wedding but decided to meet with Rev. Gray when we happened upon her website just to hear what she had to offer. She changed our minds instantly. She had great ideas and information and clearly showed a passion for the historical and cultural implications of wedding ceremonies. With her help, we shortly went from no ceremony to having the perfect ceremony that felt like it was written just for us. Four days after the wedding, I look back and think about how my hair wasn't just right or something didn't go exactly how I wanted it to but I can say that the ceremony was absolutely beautiful (without being overly cheesy) and it became the focal point in my mind to an amazing evening of love and community. We hired Ms. Arianna Gray as our officiant for our big day and she was wonderful! Even from the consultation, she was extremely knowledgable in all types of ceremonies and made some great recommendations that we ended up using in ours that I would not have otherwise known about! She was outgoing and personable, quick to respond to any questions and very helpful in the process of creating our ceremony and writing our own vows. Nothing was cut and dry with Arianna! She had a sense of humor and personality that only added to our ceremony and helped to make it that much more enjoyable! Even after the ceremony she followed up with us to let us know the status of our marriage license (which she took care of for us) and wished us a happy honeymoon. She's not just one to perform a wedding, but she truly does become a great part of it and we were blessed to have her as a part of ours!

Rev. Ari was wonderful to work with. During our first meeting, she was very knowledgeable about the different types of wedding services - from traditional to completely unconventional. And she provided us with all the tools to customize our own ceremony. Even when we provided changes a week before the wedding day, she was able to accommodate us. She was very easy to work with at the rehearsal, and the wedding party and family were impressed by her professionalism. We ended up having a short & sweet ceremony and it went perfectly! Arianna is so wonderful. My husband’s father passed away about a year and half before the wedding. When we met with Arianna, the first thing she talked about was doing a memorial candle for people you always thought would be there but can’t be. And I just lost it there in the middle of Starbucks! Arianna helped us create a ceremony that was completely customized to us, and it was so beautiful. She has a lot of great ideas, and she really knows the history and meaning behind all of the wedding rituals. She was great from start to finish, and our ceremony was perfect. And I don’t know if she has some kind of magic, but we got our marriage license back in less than a week!

Ariana officiated our wedding wonderfully - from the minute we sat down to meet with her we knew she was the one to be there for us on our special day.

Learning that Ari knows and is willing to perform any cultural ceremony was a plus. We loved having the flexibility and empowerment to tailor the ceremony to exactly what we desired - tools were provided for us to be as little or as much involved in the overall process.

Many post-ceremony comments have been made to us on how beautiful and unique our ceremony was - and it would not have been such if it wasn't for Ari's involvement with it.

Ari was one of our favorite vendors. After our first consultation with her, we immediately knew that we didn't need to look for another officiant. We are not religious but wanted our ceremony to be special and we didn't want it to be 5 minutes long either. She was on board with us the entire way. She gave us great ideas and helped us put together a truly special ceremony. It's a few weeks after our wedding and we are still getting comments about how special and "us" it was. She rolled with the punches and was extremely professional. When the ceremony started the DJ did not have her mic on, and she did not even bat an eye lash. First of all, THANK YOU. After the wedding, and ever since, all we have heard is how wonderful our ceremony was. And each person had something different to say about what they loved about our ceremony, whether it be the roses to the moms, the sand ceremony, the hand fasting, or how the married guests were asked to hold hands and remember their own vows. Reverend Arianna Gray was a fantastic choice for our wedding. She absolutely caters the ceremony to you personally and has an extensive knowledge of all things wedding! Ari was a wonderful officiant! At our first meeting with her we knew she was the perfect officiant for us. She provided several formats for our wedding vows; allowing us to pick and choose what suited us best. Everyone enjoyed our service, commenting on Ari's warmth and outgoing personality. We have many special moments from our wedding service and can't image it without her.

We had a friend preforming the ceremony, so I attempted to write it for him, but felt like it was missing something. Ari was recommended to me by my Wedding Planner and I am so glad I found her! The ceremony I had written was rather boring, almost to the point of being depressing. Ari worked with us to learn us as a couple and as individuals in order to guide us into writing an amazing ceremony!

The ceremony was so perfectly us, very unique, but incorporated just enough traditionalism. EVERYONE who attended the wedding raved about how much they enjoyed the ceremony and how unique it was. Ari was well worth the money (which wasn't very much at all) and definately made the most important part of our day (the actual wedding) stand out in everyone's minds!

Rev. Ari was amazing. I couldn't have designed a more perfect person for our needs. She had terrific suggestions, was open to us contributing as much or as little as we wanted to the service. On the day of the ceremony, she was an oasis of calm for me. I would recommend her to anyone.

We loved Ari. We are not religious people and originally planned to go with a Justice of the Peace. However, we found that they were pretty expensive, wouldn't attend our rehearsal, and wouldn't let us customize our ceremony the way that we wanted. We found Ari here on Weddingwire and couldn't have been happier with her services. She was personable without being over-the-top and helped us customize our ceremony to be very "us." She also specializes in unique traditions (we did the German Wedding Cup), which was a nice way for us to personalize things. We trusted her completely to do our ceremony, our way, and she did exactly that. We got lots of compliments on her and on the ceremony and would highly recommend her.

Ari did an absolutely amazing job for our wedding. She was just what we were looking for. We are not religious and wanted to have an alternative wedding that was built around "us". She met with us, made suggestions and gave us samples of ceremonies that we used to piece together our very own ceremony. She did a beautiful job during the ceremony and I can't thank her enough. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant. I don't think it gets any better then having Rev. Ari officiate your wedding.

I highly recommend Rev. Ari's services. She was a godsend for a completely lost bride (that would be me, lol). The service was so personal and touching that the groom got choked up and the bride (that would be me again) provided a few laughs for the onlookers. But really, Rev. Ari has the best sense of the individuals that she helps and this sense did not go unnoticed by anyone attending. Thank you Rev. Ari, you will never be forgotten!

Neither my husband or myself are very religious. We don't go to church and we didn't want a judge to perform our wedding. I realized, quickly, that finding someone to perform our ceremony wasn't going to be as simple as I had once thought. I heard a lot of religious force feeding in my search.

Ariana was great! She sent us suggestions, and then when we decided to write our own vows she was our pointman to make sure they matched up in length and content. We ended up writing our own ceremony, stealing bits and pieces from stuff all over the internet and things sent to us by her. We ended up with a ceremony that was perfectly fitting for us. She helped us make it flow and had suggestions towards the end.

She had wonderful ideas I never would have thought of which we incorporated into our wedding like the hand fasting which we now treasure. She made us feel perfectly at ease and I was incredibly glad to have her be a part of our ceremony.

She was upfront with her pricing and was timely to everything.

Rev. Gray was AWESOME! She helped make our ceremony unique and gave us the freedom to make our ceremony fit "us." She was always a phone call away and helped us in every way she could. She was invaluable on our wedding day. Would HIGHLY recommend!

Arianna Gray took care of all the details on our wedding day! She was professional, but very personable when dealing with our desires. She made sure every detail of our wedding went perfect! We loved having Rev. Ari officiate our wedding. I'm Jewish and my husband is Christian, and we really did not want anything religious in our ceremony. She was able to take out the religion without taking out the spirituality and meaningfulness of the ceremony. Every guest commented on how much they enjoyed the ceremony. I would highly, highly recommend her!

Ari was great! We had a beautiful ceremony and got tons of compliments on it. Ari performed our rehearsal too and we arrived right on time, but we had to unload all the beer/wine/champagne into a storage closet before we started since a wedding was occurring at Old Red that day. The groomsmen, my dad, and a few of my cousins who were there helped unload everything and we ended up starting the rehearsal about 20 min. late. Ari didn’t complain at all and was just ready to start when they got done with the unloading. The way she did the rehearsal made it easy for everyone to remember what to do. She gave us a variety of wording to choose for our ceremony and had a ton of ideas for us to use, since we did not want a religious ceremony.

He provided a very nice ceremony that we loved.Our Officiant was great. He made sure the entire ceremony was all we wanted to be. He made it personal. It wasn't just another ceremony. We do highly recommend him.We were both blown away by how well everything went. She exceeded our expectations by far. We are still hearing everyone rave about ours being one of the best, if not the best, ceremonies many of our guests had ever been to.

Rev. Ari was great. She sent us ceremony templates and then worked with us to personalize our ceremony. We wanted to incorporate our children and make sure we had an individualized ceremony. She did a great job performing the actual ceremony. I would absolutely recommend her to others!

Rev. Ari was great! She provides seven or eight different ceremonies, and you can pick the pieces of each one that you like and combine them into the ceremony that’s perfect for you. She is clearly very experienced in acting as an officiant and did a great job of giving everyone subtle cues on the day-of so that we remembered exactly what to do, even when we were nervous.

Rev. Ari was super friendly, and had lots of different suggestions for things we could include in our ceremony. As her business name suggests, she will help you construct the exact ceremony you wish to have. She writes her own ceremony wording and re-writes them on a very regular basis, and gave us about 8 different full ceremonies from which we picked our favorite parts. She had a wonderful idea for a special "roses to the moms" moment in the ceremony which was an unrehearsed surprise for our mothers. They were very touched !! Especially if you are working on appealing to an inter-failth (or in our case religious/non-religious) crowd, she can help you figure out how to create a ceremony that will be just right :) Our wedding was perfect and everyone complimented us on the ceremony.

My husband and I do not follow any kind of traditional religion and did not plan on having a traditional wedding ceremony. We went to visit Rev. Ari with the thought that we really didn't want anything too ritualistic or involved for the ceremony, just something quick and simple so we could get on to the fun part, but she quickly changed our minds about that idea.

She explained how materialism is overtaking symbolism when it came to marriage and told us that most couples don't remember much of their weddings while caught in the whirlwind of stress and expectation. She said that what couples remember best are the ritualistic moments, such as putting on the rings and saying the vows, and convinced us that they would be an important part of our day. I'm glad she won us over.

Rev. Ari then impressed us with her vast knowledge of many different wedding rituals, both modern and historical, practiced by cultures from all parts of the world. We chose three that we felt meant the most to us. For the weeks following our initial meeting, she continued to answer our questions about what we would need for the ceremony and helped us put together our vows.

After the ceremony, our friends and family kept commenting on how beautiful and unique it was. Some even asked for a copy of our vows! When I look back on it, I feel like our ceremony was a true and personalized expression of who we are, and those who were there to witness it felt the same.

Ari was very helpful from the beginning. She is very quick to respond when any questions were asked. Very professional during the entire process and had many great ideas. Would definitely recommend her to others looking for alternative wedding officiants.

We did not want a traditional wedding but wanted something more than a trip to the Justice of the Peace's office. This is where Rev Ari comes in; from the first meeting, she was very pleasant and personable and understood what we were trying to accomplish. She offered plenty of options for us to customize the ceremony and although simplistic, Rev. Ari incorporated the very traditions as if we had a church ceremony.

I hate to leave bad reviews, so I took a while to make sure I wasn't just being sensitive, but 3 months later, I am still upset with Rev Khrymsun. Everyone that had to deal with her found her to be a rude know-it-all. Even the venue staff commented on her attitude.
When we first met, we had to drive 45 mins in rush hour traffic to meet her at the starbucks near her, just to find out she had JUST left our area. She laughed saying she should have called. Well YEAH you should have called.
During the rehearsal, she singled out and a quiet groomsman and asked if he was sober. Of course he was; it was 1 pm on an important day! We weren't drinking or acting foolish at all. That was uncalled for.
When it came to light that my parents are split, she took it upon herself to handle any issues between my parents that may arise at the wedding. Then she POINTS HER FINGER AT MY MOTHER and said "they will behave." Who does she think she is, talking to my mother like that?! I was appalled and hurt for my mom. So rude! That is not her place at all!
She also did not understand that the bridal suite was just that, a bridal suite - not storage for her purse. When we said we were locking the door to start getting dressed, she told us that we "better not" because of her purse. I suggested she moved it because there will be no in's and out's, but she didn't. She did try to get in after we locked the doors though.
But what really makes me steam was how she handled me wearing my engagement ring during the ceremony. The day before, she was telling me to wear it on the other hand or let someone else hold it. I did not want to do either, and that is my prerogative. But DURING THE CEREMONY, just before he put the band on, she started berating me, hitting my finger, asking "what is this?" over and over. All I could muster was a "don't you dare", I was so embarrassed. She told me not to worry about it though, cause her mic crapped out so nobody could hear her anyway. Just awful :(
