We literally contacted her 6 days before we wanted to get married and she was on a family vacation and still took the time to connect w us and make our dreams come true. Taya was very pleasant to work with. She had another ceremony after ours but made it work so she can perform both. She responded to my emails quickly and she addressed all questions I had. When I asked her if she could jump on a phone call to explain me the details further, she did not hesitate and took her time. Long story short... she's Highly recommended (for those uninterested in Storytime)
For those who are interested in Story Time... here goes... As couples do, my now- husband and I took just under a year to plan what could and would have been a beautiful ceremony for June 2025. Emotions ran high, money ran out, and we ended up cancelling everything was just a week prior to our special day.
What a DISASTER.
However... with all that, throughout the process from day 1, Taya was so helpful and professional, handling everything gracefully. She brings a sense of calm, wisdom, and humor to help ease the nerves of overwhelmed couples. She was more than willing to offer her vast knowledge and expertise in helping us create what would have been beautiful vows. That being said, when our wedding was canceled, she was more than gracious in honoring our payment for a later date. What I appreciated was her optimism (and maybe foresight into the future, because we are now married).. I would totally recommend her! Best of luck to those in the process.

We had our wedding on Mother’s Day which was a task to find anyone for our wedding anyway. BUT! We could not have asked for a more genuine, well spoken, kind and caring, really just the absolute best Officiant! Taya was not only very professional, but very fun as well! We laughed, we cried, all the things you expect from your ceremony! She gave us great tips during our rehearsal on the beach, and we ended up having the ceremony inside the venue due to weather and everything went as smooth as you could ask for! Rolled with the Mishaps!
I loved working with Taya, she was great and very helpful! She gave us plenty of options of different ceremony types so we found one that fit us best!
The microphone turned off during the ceremony and she just knew what to do - spoke louder to get everyone's attention and when I misspoke the word "wring" instead of making me feel embarrassed she also said "wring" so it was like it was supposed to have happened that way and not a misspoke at all.
I do not want to get married again anytime soon but if I had to go with an officiant I would pick Taya every time!

As a wedding planner everyone thought my day would be planner and would look like the weddings I plan. My now husband and I decided we wanted to do it our way so we got married with only the two of us, Taya, and two random witness on the beach. Taya responded to my inquiry in MINUTES and made sure everything was smooth and easy from the moment we talked to her. She was FLEXIBLE ( does not even describe ) I reached out to her on a Tuesday asking her if she could pull a miracle and marry us that Saturday. She pivoted her personal plans and made sure she was able to do this for us. I don't think she even understands how much that meant to me and my now husband. Now skip to the ceremony... I can't begin to tell everyone reading this how perfect it was. The woads she chose seem to speak to someone who knew us for awhile .. not someone who met us for the first time ten minutes before we got married.
it was perfect. She was so helpful, kind, willing to help and you can tell she LOVES what she does. It is very simple - if you all need someone to marry you - here she is! We plan on reaching back out to her in the future when we do the ceremony in front of friends and family when we are ready to be married to the "public" Haven't even asked her yet but I am excited to.. and hopeful I will see her in the future. Cant say enough..

Taya did an amazing job with the ceremony. We contacted her a few months ahead of our wedding, completed a questionnaire she sent over and spoke to her on the phone in the week leading up to the wedding. She helped to design a perfect ceremony for us and gave us tips on how to write our personal vows. Honestly the vows were my favorite part of the whole night. One of the important things for us was finding an officiant that fit the vibe of the wedding. She sent us plenty of ceremony samples. Funny, modern, traditional, religious. It was important for us, my wife and I, to be the focus. And that we were. She even stepped to the side at the time for the kiss so that she wasn’t in the background of our first kiss picture. I think this is becoming more common these days and it worked out well. I would highly recommend Taya to others looking for an easy experience from designing to execution.

When most people think about a wedding, they think about big white dresses and open bars and bad dancing. We generally focus on the party aspect of the wedding but the whole point of the wedding is the promise that two people are making to each other. Our ceremony was hands down the best thing about our wedding and a big part of that was because of Taya. She wrote a ceremony for us that was touching and personal but at the same time fun. We honestly could not have found someone better to guide us into making this official.

Great Experience
Our wedding day was everything we dreamed it would be. We had a small ceremony on a farm with just immediate family. Taya helped us make it the perfect day and I would recommend her to a friend.

Efficient, professional, and great upbeat attitude.
Taya was a wonderful officiant. She was very responsive. She worked with us to make changes to our ceremony to include a rose ceremony. I also really recommend her for your rehearsal. She got everyone in order, and gave great instructions and tips. It would have been so much harder for us to figure it out ourselves. I loved her upbeat attitude and energy.

Taya was everything that we wanted. She was so nice with fitting us in on her busy day. She was able to create ceremony with a hand fasting ceremony that was also spiritual that was beautiful. We also added in a reading that she happily obliged to read since we didn’t think to ask anyone to read. I would most definitely refer someone getting married to her.

Perfect!, small but special!!
With covid we couldn't have our dream wedding with family and friends, but she made us feel like we were old friends. We couldn't have asked for a better officiant, now friend, for our special day!! Definitely will have her in the future when we can renewal our vows in front of family and friends!

Rev. Taya was very easy to work with, from the very first inquiry throughout the planning process. Super friendly and personable. She remained flexible as our plans changed due to COVID. With Covid19 pandemic well underway we were seeking to simply elope. Taya was awesome at working with us on dates, times, and details. She made me feel calmer and excited about planning a marriage elopement simultaneously.

Taya officiated our wedding a couple weeks ago and the entire process with her was easy and efficient. She is a joy to be around and was helpful with various other things the day of such as helping the groomsmen with their boutonnieres and helping the bride with her rings! The ceremony service she provided was exactly what we wanted. She went above and beyond and fit right in with our guests. She is very kind, genuine, and professional. I reached out to Taya for our wedding and I'm so happy that I did. She was so helpful from very early on and answered many of my questions. She helped me find answers to questions I had , since we were getting married out of state, and was a bit nervous. She put me at ease immediately. Taya was such an amazing officiant. She met my husband and I for lunch prior to our wedding to get to know us and talk about what we wanted our ceremony to look like. This made us feel comfortable on our big day. Even when I forgot the wedding certificate in the hotel room at our venue, she was flexible and was able to get it for us without it putting a damper on our day. Taya literally saved my wedding. 4 days prior to my wedding!
My officiant fell seriously ill in the hospital, and was forced to cancel. Unsure what to do, I contacted Taya, the only person that came to mind! I knew Taya locally for years, and luckily recalled she did weddings. What happened next was a blessing. She was actually planning to fly out of town to visit family the night of my wedding.... but told me to hold tight as she may be able to cancel or change her flight.
I was so fortunate and rest assured by that news, and she ended up rearranging her schedule to marry my husband and I. She did an incredible job, a real pro, especially with no rehearsal! Everyone loved her and so did we!

Where do I even begin?! Taya was not only our officiant, she became someone who I could call for any questions I may have had, she even picked out my wedding flowers! Those hydrangeas were a great idea! We had the pleasure of Taya marrying us in 2007, and again in 2019!
There is no need to look further, Taya goes above and beyond to make sure all of your expectations are met.

perfect ceremony
Taya gave us some great guides to help us pick out the vows that were perfect for us. We were able to customize and make them exactly how we wanted them. she was early to the venue and a very zen person to be around in general. She also provided an opportunity for one of our close friends to be involved in the ceremony. everything was just perfect!

Rev Taya was amazing! We were very lucky she was able to squeeze us in her schedule with about a weeks notice. The first time we met was at the ceremony, but she sounds as though we've known each other forever. She has a calmness to her that puts you at ease no matter how stressed you are. I highly recommend her!

Our wedding went SO perfectly
Taya helped us write a personalized ceremony so that my husband and I could write our own vows to each other. Even though she had a family vacation, she still got back to us when we needed help! After pictures, I wanted the train cut off of my dress so I could move around and wouldn’t become too hot, Taya got down on the ground and helped my grandmother cut the train. They did so well that no one even noticed! We even forgot our marriage license at the house and had to have a friend go grab it, and Taya patiently waited and took care of sending in the documents to our county for us. We didn’t have to worry about a thing! Thank you again, Taya, for everything (:

For anyone looking for an amazing officiant then you need to look no further than Taya.
Taya made our event the most memorable night of our entire lives, that when we shared with friends and family we overwhelmed them with joy for what she did.
She brought us even closer together than we could ever have expected because of her beautiful voice....calmness...and elegant wording as we shared our most memorable day as newly husband and wife.
I keep wanting to hit the rewind button and do it all over again and again and again .
There is nothing I would change from that amazing evening.
I can't wait for her to renew our marriage in another 25 years. I would want nobody but her to be the one that shares it with us

We could not have picked a better officiant for our wedding!! Taya was very organized and overall a great person to work with. She genuinely cared--she wanted to get to know us as a couple and made the process of planning less stressful. Her rate was also very fair and within our budget. Our wedding ceremony was beautiful, and we owe a lot of that to Taya! We can't express enough how great Taya was---we would recommend her to anyone!!!

Taya was a joy to work with as we planned a wedding in 6 weeks! She understood our blended family dynamic and gave us ceremony options which included our kids, which was very important to us. Everything about Taya is AWESOME!! Not only was she flexible because I had to change my date several times due to scheduling issues she worked with me and my fiance'. She was on time for the ceremony she was professional and she was funny.
Once the ceremony was over she took the time out to explain how to handle the marriage certificate and she answered any questions we had.
I would highly recommend Taya to officiate a wedding!!

For peace of mind on your wedding day, leave it to Taya! We had large outdoor wedding with only 2 months planning and DIY décor. The rehearsal would’ve been a disaster if it weren’t for her. We had no plan and I was pretty frazzled by that point, but that wasn’t a problem. She immediately put us at ease, guided us through a successful rehearsal, and even helped us set up tables afterwards. Taya prepared beautiful vows written just for us and I was able to walk down the aisle ready and relaxed!

My husband and I loved Taya. She was very responsive, punctual, and went beyond her duties. She arrived on time and performed a beautiful ceremony that was sweet and to the point. She communicated via email and text multiple times before the ceremony to assure us that she would be there and was excited to meet us. After the ceremony, she was so kind as to offer to hold our hysterically crying baby nephew so that our family could have a few photos together. Really, Taya is great and I would highly recommend her.
