From our very first meeting to the final moments of our wedding night, everything was personalized and curated to us. This was not a cookie-cutter wedding experience at all. Every detail felt intentional, thoughtful, and uniquely ours. Small personal touches made us feel so incredibly special and cared for.

The venue itself is absolutely stunning, easily the most beautiful we toured, but what truly sets AVCC apart is the people. The team is professional, organized, warm, and genuinely invested in their couples. Juan and the catering team took such wonderful care of us and our guests. everything was seamless.

We toured other venues that made us feel like just another couple on a schedule. Alta Vista Country Club made us feel special, valued, and celebrated. Our day was perfect, and we could not imagine having gotten married anywhere else.

It went beautifully! From the moment we sat with Shanna to the end. Our Captain of the night Juan was amazing. He was attentive and professional. Diane our manger was sweet kind and attentive. She got an amazing video of us while we were taking pictures at the golf course. My husband and I are truly blessed to have found Alta Vista for our wedding venue.

From the start, the entire team at Alta Vista was incredible and so easy to work with! Liz was extremely patient and helpful and always available with any questions we had which made booking this venue so easy! Working with Shanna was also so amazing as she helped us with every tiny detail including having an outside caterer to make sure our wedding day would be perfect! Planning a wedding can be extremely stressful but both Liz and Shanna were there every step of the way which took a significant load off our shoulders. The venue itself is beyond beautiful and I cannot wait to see how our sunset pictures turned out. I continue to get messages from guests stating how much they loved our venue. The setup on the wedding day was flawless. The ceremony space was private yet spacious, ideal for a cozy cocktail hour with bistro lights and greenery creating a warm atmosphere. We initially worried the reception area might feel too open, but with Liz’s ideas, we found a layout that made our 100 guests feel comfortable and at ease. Another special highlight was being able to take photos in the field at sunset—it made for beautiful memories. With the reception space’s stunning view, we barely needed any additional decor, and the natural beauty of the scenery shone through.

One of the biggest highlights was the food and drink. From attending various weddings, we knew the meal would be a memorable part for our guests, so we prioritized it. While we were nervous about needing to commit before the tasting, the food far exceeded our expectations and could rival any fine restaurant. We customized our menu with filet mignon and white-sauce fish dishes, and the team delivered a fantastic dining experience that we were so grateful for.

Alta Vista provided a beautiful day for our wedding. The food was delicious, they allowed me to do all of the fun and cute little extra things I wanted, and provided plenty of time for us to get items to the venue ahead of time so our big day didn’t feel too hectic. Working with Liz and Shanna was so easy, they were kind and responsive and never made me feel like I was a bother. The venue itself is beautiful, the ceremony site was private and taking the golf cart out to some special sites with the photographer allowed my husband and I to have some peace and alone time. Overall we had the best day of our lives and I never felt rushed or overwhelmed. Highly recommend!

Alta Vista was wonderful. The team worked hard and were able to cultivate the fairytale wedding I always wanted and it not killing the bank. The venue is amazing because it not only had a beautiful indoor reception area, but it is accessible for those like my grandparents to get the full experience. With our wedding in December, I wanted to be able to have an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception and have it flow and it worked out perfectly. My husband and I had the most amazing experience planning our wedding at Alta Vista. Liz and Anna were both extremely helpful and responsive with any questions we had. Planning was made so much easier with their help. We toured the venue before the remodel, and we loved it right from the start. After the remodel I was even happier with our decision to have our wedding here, it really is so beautiful and modern. The ceremony space, golf course photos, and reception area were all so perfect, we’ve had so many guests express what a great experience it was. One of our guests even referred a friend to check out this venue for their wedding. Lastly, the food is AMAZING. Everyone loved the appetizers and dinner! I’m so glad that we chose to have our wedding here!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception here and it was perfect. Anna Beckman was our event coordinator and she was the best. She took her time to explain every little detail and was patient enough to deal with the changes we made. I would 100% recommend this place and to look for Anna Beckman.

My, husband and I chose this venue for our wedding that happened 2 weeks ago. Not only the place is beautiful but the whole stuff treats you with full respect. They are nice, they let you take the time to decide on things, they also answer every question with details and are very quick with their responses. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to friends and family.

I cannot say enough how amazing the venue was and how wonderful the staff here was! We had to change our venue back in June and Anna and Liz were absolutely fantastic in the transition and throughout the whole process!

First of all planning a wedding is difficult enough however planning a wedding during a whole pandemic? Insane!!! Until we met two angels at Alta Vista Country Club by the name of Liz and Anna. We had our wedding here on 4/3/21. Our previous venue cancelled on us a month and a half prior to our wedding date. We had already mailed out our invitations to our family and friends after cutting down our wedding list as short as possible. After numerous calls to different venues in the area, We found Alta Vista Country Club. From the first moment I spoke to Liz over the phone prior to booking the venue, I knew our worries would soon vanish. She was extremely helpful, answered every question with ease (I had a lot of questions!!), and had so much more confidence in our wedding day than I could've had myself. Leading up to the big day, We were in constant communication. I'm so grateful for the prompt responses Liz was able to exhibit throughout the planning process. I honestly don't know how she was able to manage so many clients and still make us unaware that there were multiple couples also planning their weddings during the pandemic. She made us feel like we were the only couple and priority and that it was perfectly normal to stress while she reassured us that every thing would be fine. On our big day, it was all a dream! Every thing was beautiful and set up perfectly. I don't even know how they were able to obtain the names of our bridal party as I had forgotten to write them down due to the nervousness. Liz and Anna were extremely helpful and I would highly recommend them and the venue to family and friends. We had an outdoor ceremony and an outdoor reception. The packages were very affordable. My now husband, who accompanied me on our multiple visits, morphed into a person you wouldn't believe was previously stressed. He was so amazed at how beautiful it turned out. We have received so many compliments of our wedding and we can't stop watching the wedding video. I can't thank Liz and Anna enough for making our dream wedding come true!

Best Wedding Ever - is what all our guests said after our special day at Alta Vista Country Club in Placentia. Our guests raved about the venue, the staff and the food. A true hidden gem, not only for its beautiful setting but also for its wonderful staff including Liz and Sergio. We had a "Covid Wedding" but we didn't feel like we had to sacrifice on any of the important details and Liz helped us every step of the way. The venue is beautiful and Liz and team make it so easy to plan exactly your vision!

There are not enough positive words to describe Alta Vista CC. When I set up an appointment to see the venue Taryn was already very helpful. She or her assistant, Hilary, would respond to my emails in a very prompt manner. Throughout the year of my wedding planning, they were always there to help me and give suggestions when I had questions. I was able to do a lot with their ballroom (without ruining the walls; they suggested command strips) to make it the unique wedding I had wanted. I gave them several boxes of decor with plans for each them. The ballroom was even better than I had envisioned. They really helped my dream become a reality.
Now let's talk about the famous Miguel. He honestly made our wedding so relaxing and enjoyable. We didn't get married at Alta Vista, but I could only imagine how he would have been if we had. He was so hands-on and there for EVERY need. No joke. I kept reading reviews about him; I was so excited to meet him. We drove up from our ceremony and he comes running to us to open our door for us. We get inside and he immediately gets us a drink of our choice. He walked around with us and our photographer to get us the perfect picture opps. He made sure that not only me and husband were taken care of, but all of our guests as well. I was never dehydrated; he would bring a glass of water to my husband and me when we were dancing. He is spectacular! You can tell he loves what he does and just wants to make sure people are happy. Miguel is the BEST.

From Start To Finish This Venue Was Amazing! Taryn and Hilary were amazing from our first meeting, to the emails, to the day of. I could not have asked for better wedding coordinators. The Day of my cake broke and Hilary and Taryn fixed it with the Alta vista team that no one even knew! Miguel was beyond amazing! He was not only taking care of my husband and I the day of, but also our families and even our guest. Miguel made sure everyone and I mean everyone was taken care of. I have gotten so many compliments on my wedding! I can't think Alta vista enough for making my wedding day everything I imagined and more!

Alta Vista Country Club was the obvious choice for our reception because of its beautiful grounds and pristine facilities. It wasn’t until later that we realized how lucky we were to be in the hands of Event Sales Manager Taryn and Events & Marketing Assistant Hilary, who were beyond helpful and accommodating. They made everything from food tastings to floor plan layouts to working with our budget a breeze. When the day came, everything went off without a hitch, we were stress-free and it was by far the best party I have ever been to.

Service Manager Miguel was there the day of the reception and he poured his heart and soul into making us feel like royalty — he was always one step ahead of us and kept everything lighthearted and fun. He did an amazing job at making sure our guests were cared for and that we had everything we needed and more.

The food was phenomenal, the bartenders and wait staff were excellent and professional, and our guests can’t stop talking about how much fun they had.

Alta Vista help my dream wedding turn into a reality. The staff is amazing!!! Did I say amazing?!?!?! They were extremely organized,created perfection and if their was any problem (which I don't think there was) I had no clue about it. The suggested venders were also amazing and help my wedding go perfect. My wedding day/evening went absolutely perfect.

They set up all the decorations, with a quick 5 minute overview of my wants and added touches that I was overjoyed with. I worked with Meghan Weisman (photography) and Station Identification (DJ) for my wedding and I cannot say enough positive things about the suggested venders. Miguel should cost extra. He comes with every package as does Hillary and Taryn, but this guy does everything to make your wedding night perfect. The ladies stay basically through dinner and he stays till the end. He just works his butt off and takes care of your every need, including your guest. He was funny, attentive and helped make my night perfect.

We got married here 05/13/2016. I am absolutely amazed at the level of organization, professionalism and caring the staff at Alta Vista showed my Husband and I during the entire process. First let me say that for the money, this is absolutley the BEST deal you will find in the Orange County area. The packages are affordable and flexible. Taryn was our main contact throughout the process and she really knows her stuff. Hilary was also very helpful. The team is very patient and accomodating to your needs. The venue is stunning and no need to spend a ton of money on decorations. It's already beautiful! They do all of the set up for you. We just dropped our decorations off the day of the rehearsal and it was ready to go for us. Didn't have to think about it, which was a HUGE blessing. On the day of the wedding, we arrived slightly later than anticipated, but the staff was sure to get us to the church on time, so to speak :) And MIGUEL! This man is certainly in his element! He is the evening coordinator that keeps everything running smoothly. He certainly picked the right field. He was amazing. He brought be food before dinner when i mentioned during pictures that i was getting hungry. He was there with a glass of water whenever i was exiting the dance floor. ( He even made sure i was enjoying my wine!) Very attentative and amazing with the guests. We have had so many compliments on not only the wedding, but the venue itself and staff. Not one single regret! Also the do have a preferred vendor list (Not required) But we used the DJ, cake and flower vendors that they recommend and I would recommend them as well. What an amazing TEAM!

There was literally nothing that went wrong during the entire day. Everything went seamlessly. Taryn and Hilary were awesome to work with from Day 1! Any questions I had or last minute changes they were more than willing to accommodate. During the actual day, Miguel was the best! He kept bringing water or lemonade to my husband and I. If we had any request, he didnt walk, he sprinted to go get it. He helped the photographer get the best backgrounds, gave us food and helped me through the grass in heels. Hands down the best wedding ever. Our guests keep saying that it was the nicest wedding they have ever been to.

I had my wedding here on 11/14/15 and Taryn, Hilary, and Miguel made it the best day of my life! I couldn't have asked for a better day. Taryn and Hilary fielded all my questions up until the wedding time (and always responded very quickly). From there, Miguel was at our beck and call. Our drinks were never empty. And all throughout the day of the wedding, Miguel was accommodating not only us, but our guests too! Taryn and Hilary were always present and always made sure we were had what we needed. Our guests all enjoyed the food (we had the jumbo coconut shrimp appetizers and for the choice of entrees we had the tri tip and the chicken piccata).
It was nice to know that we could depend on Alta Vista to take care of everything for us. Their wedding packages are comprehensive and affordable (let's face it, all wedding venues charge an arm and a leg ~ just because it's a wedding!). But after collecting info from other venues, Alta Vista had everything we needed and I feel like we had a great package deal. When making our decision, we read all the reviews of each venue, but Alta Vista's wedding reviews were always consistent...and there's definitely a reason why. Thank you to Taryn, Hilary, and Miguel for making our wedding day feel like a breeze!!!!

Alta Vista Country Club is a great venue for an all-inclusive wedding. We had our ceremony at the Gazebo, which happens to be private and very beautiful. We were able to host our cocktail reception outside which was a huge plus for us as our wedding was on the Friday prior to Labor Day. The locker rooms are great for getting ready prior to the ceremony. The outside fire pit worked perfectly for our Photo Booth and Cigar Lounge. The lights on the course trees make the evening views sparkle. This is a great venue that offers wonderful weddings / receptions for all budgets. We elected to do the Diamond Package.Taryn was a delight to work with during the planning stages. She took time to answer all our questions and sometimes daily emails. Hilary can easily step in when Taryn is off and they make a perfect pair to help coordinate wedding details. They set up our tables and room nicely that day of the wedding. That service comes with booking your wedding with Alta Vista. Not many places can say that. Another really big plus is that while taking photos, the wedding party is served cocktails and appetizers. Miguel is a superstar and really makes sure the Bride and Groom are treated like royalty the day of the wedding and through the entire reception. Guest love Miguel as he tries to make sure everyone is happy and taken care of during the night. He really spoiled us and also took some great photos alongside our professional photographer. Miguel made sure we stayed hydrated throughout the day/night and it really made a huge impact on us. Miguel ROCKS! The wedding reception went so well guest did not want to leave. Lots of fun, leaving to a sparkler send-off is a blast, great times and memories were made.There were a few hiccups / issues that took place during the ceremony and the staff at Alta Vista did what they could to make sure it did not impact the night negatively. They took time to speak with us a few days later as well.

My guest were so impressed with the quality of the food and service. Miguel made our night! Our guest loved him. Everyone kept talking about how nice and attentive he was. He picked up one of our guest from the parking lot and drove her up to her seat. He even did that with my grandparents. Our wedding could not be more perfect and we have Miguel to thank.

Wedding coordinator Taryn was amazing along with Hilary. My daughter was recently married at this venue. These ladies were so helpful did everything that need to be done so all we had to do was relax and enjoy our day. We recieve comments from our guest about how beautiful the venue & amazing service. Miguel was beyon amazing whatever you need he was there. As MOB I couldn't been more happy to see my daughter & son in law happy enjoying themselves. Taryn, Hilary & Miguel have a heart of excellence! I would most definitely recommend this place for a venue. Top notch giving them a 5 star rating would be a low rating, I'd give it a 20+ star rating!!

Taryn and Hillary were always available to accommodate us and Miguel led our photographers on a fantastic tour for photographs around the vast campus. I was so so so very happy with Alta Vista Country Club! ALL staff went way above our expectations. I booked the venue because the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception spaces were beautiful and I really wanted everything at the same place. What I didn't realize when I booked was how wonderful all their staff was. Both Taryn and Hillary (wedding coordinators) were so pleasant to work with. Every time I spoke with one of them they made me feel very calm and assured everything was taken care of. On our wedding day, Miguel was awesome! He was always sure that my husband and I were taken care of. He made sure the both of us were hydrated before the wedding and then during the cocktail hour and reception was sure we had drinks in hand. He also went the extra mile and made sure our parents were well taken care of too. Everyone exceeded our expectations!!! If I could rate a 10 I would give them a 15!!!!! Taryn and her assistant, Hilary, are wonderful ladies who will work with you to make sure that you stay in budget for your wedding. They are quick to respond to emails with any questions or concerns you may have. They took a lot of stress out of the planning and set-up from my Wife and I. There was never a time we had to worry about their staff, and in turn they would constantly approach us about service (non-obtrusively). My wife and I spent the entire event enjoying out year long planning and not worrying about the handling of the event. Furthermore, the complements from our guests were countless and would highly recommend their venue and services to anyone.

Alta Vista is a wonderful establishment for a wedding. The gazebo and grounds are beautiful. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The food was excellent and the bakery and florist they work with were amazing. Alta Vista was worth every penny and the right investment for our special day!

Choosing Alta Vista for our wedding was the best decision I have ever made! I honestly can't thank Alta Vista enough for the best night ever. They were incredible!

Taryn, Hilary, Miguel and all the rest of the staff are absolutely amazing at what they do.
Taryn and Hilary are the event coordinators. You can tell they are genuinely excited to be part of your event and they will do anything to make it go as planned. They were a bride's dream through every step of the planning process and made sure the night went off without a hitch. My groom and I both floated through the night with no worries, knowing that Taryn had everything handled.
There are no words to sufficiently describe how wonderful Miguel was in every way. Besides charming all of our guests and making sure everyone was taken care of, he was somehow at my side every time I turned around! Same for my husband! He made sure we were always holding a champagne flute or a glass of water, He followed me around fluffing my dress and carrying my bouquet, and he even fished bobby pins out of my updo when my hair started falling apart at the end of the night!

The venue itself is gorgeous! We had our ceremony and reception here. The ballroom and bar are beautiful. We didn't even really pay attention to outside on our first visit, but when it got dark, the palm trees were all lit up and it felt so romantic.

The food was to die for!! We're only a little biased, but probably the best "wedding food" we've ever had!

We wanted to have an outdoor wedding and looked at several venues and decided to go with Alta Vista- at first glance you wouldn't think to do an outdoor wedding there and since they hadn't done much out door weddings and there was no photos to show how it would turn out so we were skeptical at first but after meeting with Taryn you couldn't help but just fall in love with her and we trusted that her and her team would do a wonderful job. That's saying a lot, trusting someone for your big special day but when that day came she did not disappoint. We booked the venue 2 years before the actual wedding date. For 2 years Taryn had to deal with my emails with questions and concerns and there was never a time that she didn't respond or reassure me when I had doubts about things. Leading to the final month before the wedding, with all the stress that comes along with preparing for a wedding Taryn always knew how to calm my nerves and reminded me over and over that they will take care of everything- and they sure did! The week before the wedding it was in the early 90s and the day of my wedding it showed a change a rain! Rain! The last thing I needed to worry about esp since we decided to go without a tent. Initially at first I was worried of the heat considering it was the first week of Aug but I would take the heat any day over the rain. As soon as I felt the first drop of rain I wanted to cry- I asked Taryn what we would do if it started to rain and she was positive the entire time. If it wasn't for her positivity I probably would have freaked out. It didn't rain during dinner but sure did towards the end of the night. It didn't just rain, it poured. You would think that they would shut down the wedding, but no. The staff was still out there accommodating all the guest allowing us to continue to party and dance in the rain! Miguel who took over during the reception was absolutely wonderful. Right before I had to walk down the aisle I started to hyperventilate and Miguel

I cannot say enough good things about everyone at Alta Vista. During the planning process Taryn and Hilary were there for every step, they answered every question I had, they responded to all my emails very fast, they are amazing, very professional and courteous. On the day of the wedding Miguel was absolutely amazing. I got so many compliments about him from all of my guests. He was there to help everyone at the wedding not just the bride and groom. He was so attentive, he showed us great locations on the golf course for pictures, got us drinks during the night, he would just pop up every so often and give us water he seriously was amazing!! If you are thinking about this place for your wedding or any event you will not be disappointed by then at all.

I cannot express enough how happy I am that we had our wedding at Alta Vista!! The location was perfect and the grounds were beautiful. The clock, the fire pit, the gazebo, the bar, the course, etc. were so nice. We got a lot of great photos from the venue.

More importantly, this could not have gone any more easily or smoothly. They truly do a great job. Taryn and Hilary are amazing and so responsive. They answered all our questions and worked with us on all our requests (including a traditional Korean drum performance and wedding ceremony). They were also so accommodating with all our requests (even adding another hour of hosted bar the day of).

The staff at Alta Vista are great!! So attentive and so nice. The bridal party was their from the morning on and they made everything so easy for us. Miguel was with me and my husband the whole day making sure we were comfortable, hydrated, etc. He brought us props for our wedding photos, took care of helping us move things in and out of the dressing room.

Our guests were so impressed by the food and the staff. None of our guests left hungry. The appetizers were so good and plentiful that some of our guests couldn't finish their meal. Even with 180+ guests, the food was great, served on time, hot and plated well. We received many compliments on the venue and how they created just the perfect atmosphere for our wedding.

If I have any complaint, it would be that I wasn't that impressed with the outside florist or baker that was part of the package but you can always substitute them out.

The day of the wedding went so smoothly and they worked so well with our other vendors. They give you the attention that you deserve and the entire staff really does work hard to make sure it's your day. I highly recommend Alta Vista for your wedding. We wanted to have an outdoor wedding and after several venues we decided to go with Alta Vista- at first glance you wouldn't think to do an outdoor wedding - we were skeptical at first but after meeting with Taryn you couldn't help but just fall in love with her. They have a full and complete package, including the cake, florist ect. We booked 2 years in advance and for 2 years Taryn had to deal with all my concerns, there was never a time that she didn't respond or give me reassurance. Taryn always knew how to calm my nerves and reminded me over and over that they will take care of everything- and they sure did! Everything went flawless- all because I trusted Taryn and because of Miguel being by my side the entire night. I don't regret for one second choosing Alta Vista. I can never thank them enough for everything they did leading to the wedding and the day of. If you're in the process of finding a venue, whether you want it indoors or outdoors put your trust in Taryn, Miguel and the rest of the team. No other venue will have a Taryn and Miguel by your side throughout the entire process. They will go above and beyond to make your wedding day memorable and one your guest will never forget!

AVCC was the BEST wedding venue! Taryn, Hilary and Miguel made our wedding beautiful and fun for everyone! The Venue was outstanding. We had an Indian Ceremony and and a Christian Ceremony, it handled both beautifully. It was suggested we have a cocktail hour between the two ceremonies. It was perfect. Out guest loved the food served especially the shrimp! They recommended all our vendors which knew the facility and it worked seamlessly. They all were a joy to work with in the preparation of the day.
Taryn, Hilary and Miguel attended to every detail for us throughout the day. Anything anyone asked they accommodated. This was our third wedding (2 out of state) it was by far the BEST. The attention to detail was superb. We offered three courses and everyone of them we received fabulous compliments on….the chef is five star!!!!!

I would HIGHLY recommend this venue!! and their coordinators! It was the magical
day my daughter and now son-in-law had dreamed about! It was very easy for me with all their guidance and help also!!! We could not say enough about Alta Vista Country Club.

Our day went amazing without any problems because of Taryn, Hillary and Miguel. They made sure that everything was set up perfectly. I am still getting compliments on how everything turned out. If I had any questions or concerns they always quickly responded and were very helpful.

I am so happy I chose Alta Vista Country Club for my Wedding venue reception on May 17, 2014 . It was a beautiful venue with a golf course view. They also offer amazing wedding packages and they have great recommendations to their preferred vendor lists. I chose my florist from Cinderalla's florist through their preferred vendors and I loved her work. I also chose Creative Cakes from their vendor lists and the cake turned out so nice and it was really good. Alta Vista has a wonderful staff and I loved working with all of them, Taryn was very helpful and professional through my wedding planning and was extremely responsive whenever I had any questions & Hilary was also very helpful. I really liked how it was easy to meet with my vendors whenever I had appointments with them at Alta Vista. Miguel was also really nice to me and my family when we would come in for appointments, he always assisted me and my vendors and offered us lemonade :) I was blown away on the day of my wedding, they all worked so hard to set up my venue and Miguel and Taryn were assisting through the reception with anything that was needed. Miguel was so generous and offered my husband and I champagne through out the night and made us feel like royalty :) The service was perfection and all the servers and bar tenders were professional. Also, the food was sooo delicious. I would highly recommend Alta Vista for a Wedding. They have an amazing staff and will definitely make your wedding planning so easy. As a bride, planning a wedding could be stressful and I would have to say that during the process and the day of my wedding, Alta Vista's staff was so easy to work with and made sure everything ran smoothly. :)

We couldn't have asked for more. Taryn, Hilary and Miguel were great. The wedding was seamless and everything we were promised was delivered. Miguel brought my bride water and held the straw so she could drink while our pictures were taken, and he supplied all the coffee I could drink.
We would definitely recommend Alta Vista - the prices were reasonable and the service was great.

Venue was beautiful and my guests raved about how great the food was!! i would definitely suggest booking Alta Vista Country Club for your special day! it was very easy speaking with the coordinator Taryn and she made sure all of my questions were answered. Miguel was very attentive and helpful, especially to me (the bride), and helped make my day that much more special :)

We had a wonderful wedding here and the staff was super.

My daughter and her husband wer married at Alta Vista. Our daughter lives in Washington DC, so a lot of the details had to be worked out by email and conference calls. Alta Vista was very accommodating. My husband and I also found them easy to deal with.
I consider myself rather picky. If there had been issues with this venue, I would not hold back. I can say, whole heartedly, that Alta Vista did an excellent job. The food was delicious and hot, and the service was excellent! The manager followed my daughter throughout the reception to make sure she had anything she needed. My daughter greatly appreciated this. He also watched out for my parents, escorting my mother to the ladies room. They recommended a fantastic DJ who kept the evening moving. So many people came up to us and said it was the best wedding that they had ever attended. Our daughter said the wedding and reception exceeded her dreams. What more can you ask for? I would, without question, use Alta Vista again. I give them my highest recommendation!

Just got married last month and had our reception at Alta Vista. It was the perfect place and the entire reception turned out absolutely amazing without a single problem (not many brides can say that)! From the time we booked until our sparkler farewell Taryn, Miguel, and the Alta Vista staff were exceptional. Taryn was extremely helpful and very responsive throughout the process. Miguel (much like all the other reviews will say) was beyond great. He was very attentive not only to myself, my new husband, but my entire family especially my two 90 something year old grandmothers. Also, he never allowed me and my husband to have a warm drink in our hands. He went above and beyond. The actual venue itself is beautiful especially with the brand new bar that we were lucky enough to use. My family still cannot stop talking about everything Alta Vista did and my husband and I wish we could rewind. This venue is wonderful!

Alta Vista was a dream come true! Taryn, Hilary and Miguel were wonderful to work with in planning, answering questions and making the process seamless overall! They worked with us regarding packages and made it work for us. All of our guests are still raving about the service and food! The ballroom was recently renovated so the chiviari chairs are an awesome added touch. The use of the grounds for photos is perfect. Would highly recomment Alta Vista Country Club to all friends and family!!

Alta Vista was the PERFECT place for our wedding reception. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone looking for a reception venue. The food was great & all of the vendors they recommended were AWESOME. Taryn was very helpful with all of the details & Miguel was AMAZING on the day of the wedding.

Omg! I am so exited to leave a review for Alta Vista and their staff that I want to make sure I am not leaving any detail out. first of all, Taryn as a wedding coordinator did such an amazing job. We had about 7 meetings and this woman is completely incredible. made me feel so comfortable and she is just so knowledgeable about what you need, etc... that at this point, I do not know what I would have done without her. If you do not have time for meetings and emails work best for you.. do not even worry. she is very responsive to emails and understands your needs before you mention them. there were so many things to be set up the day of the wedding and Taryn just had me dropping them off the day before, and they set them all up for us, I am til this day so thankful and amazed with their service. Now, Miguel the service manager; God bless his heart. INCREDIBLE! so nice, so attentive, Gosh I was completely worry free the day of the wedding because he was around making sure everything was running smooth and just as plan. Him and Taryn were on top of everything.

If you are wondering about the prices and packages, it's completely affordable and worth it. Take in consideration the beautiful gazebo that they have, which is where we had our ceremony. I do suggest you invest in decoration though, very important. Food tasted delicious! They recommend vendors too, make your life easier, go with their vendors, that is what we did, and Thank God we found the DJ and cake there. both awesome!

We were very happy & pleased with the service Alta Vista Country Club provided us with. From the initial process of viewing the location, to meeting with them & finalizing all agreements, it was a smooth service all the way to our special day. A huge thanks to Taryn & Miguel whose service was astounding & very appreciated! Highly recommended!!

Last month my husband and I got married and had our reception at Alta Vista. The reception was everything I could have hoped for and more. Here were some of the highlights:

- The staff was very involved and engaged throughout the planning process. The longest I ever waited for a reply from Taryn, the wedding coordinator, was 24 hours, and that was because Monday is her day off. She would get back to me so quickly and was happy to answer any questions I had.
- The packages were close to all-inclusive, which made the planning process easier for me. I had a few things in the packages I wanted to adjust and Alta Vista was extremely accommodating, whereas most other reception venues are strict.
- Every vendor Alta Vista works with is trustworthy, honest and professional. I was very happy with the linen company (Victoria's Garden).
- The bridal suite is INCREDIBLE! My bridesmaids, mom, mother in law, grandmothers, etc. were all able to get ready in the bridal suite the morning of the wedding. Alta Vista allowed us to arrive as early as we wanted.
- Upon our arrival, Miguel (who is the most amazing employee and individual you will ever meet) ensured that we were all comfortable, fed and happy. He helped with anything and everything, without ever having to be asked.
- Everything we asked for was provided, plus more! There were a few last minute things we needed the day of and the staff helped make sure it all came together.
- Our wedding guests loved the food, which is always a huge compliment! They loved the appetizers, drinks, and entrees. It was very nice having the bar built into the wall and open only to our party. It made it very accessible and classy looking.

The reception was a complete success thanks to the amazing team at Alta Vista.

Alta Vista Country Club was AMAZING! We held our reception there and it was absolutely wonderful. From the beautiful greens to the awesome food, I have nothing but great things to say about the staff and our overall experience. Leading up to our wedding day, Amanda was so helpful, friendly and accommodating. On the actual day, they had everything set up beautifully and I didn't have to worry about a thing! The appetizers were delicious, the entrées were phenomenal and the wait staff, Amanda and Miguel were on top of EVERYTHING! Our family and friends were so impressed, many said it was the best reception they had ever been to and I have to agree with that last statement, Alta Vista Country Club is the BEST!

Alta Vista Country Club was an amazing place to have my wedding. I was very impressed at how promptly the coordinators, Taryn and Hilary, would answer any little question I had. They would email or call back within a day. The preferred vendors they work with are great. The florist and baker were awesome!

Miguel, the service manager, is seriously THE reason you need to book this venue. My husband, bridesmaids and our parents were raving about how awesome he was. He is very personable and a genuinely nice person. He makes you feel like royalty and ensures you are taken care of the entire night. During the rehearsal dinner he brought everyone drinks and socialized with the bridal party. On the day of the wedding he brought us all drinks and escorted us around the lake with the golf carts. He was there until the end of the night and made sure I, and all the guests were having a good time. If I needed anything, he would help me out immediately. I can't thank him enough for everything he did.

The only thing that would make this place perfect is getting a bridal suite. We were able to use the women's locker room, which is a very cute room. They have beautiful rustic furniture, a big tv, and huge area to get ready. I only wish it was more private. The grooms area was not very nice, and they did not have a place to shower. It would be a good investment given the large amount of weddings they host. The parking lot is a big private lot and I loved that people were able to leave their cars overnight.

Taryn and HIlary set up the decorations exactly the way I wanted them. I was nervous it wasn't going to look nice because I gave them the stuff and didn't get a chance to tell them exactly how I wanted them. They had easels I was able to use for some of the signs I had. They made it look beautiful and took care of the set up the morning of the wedding. Our guests had a great time and I loved every minute of it!

We had a great experience @ Alta Vista on our wedding.
Every guest complimented for appetizers and main dishes. And site was really beautiful. As we were having kind of large wedding with guest of 200, and staffs were busy_few guests on corner side of table couldn't get coffee/tea they requested :(.. Except for that, really had great wedding and all the staffs were nice :))) FOOD was GREEEEAT!!!

All our questions were answered promptly by the staff. Always best to write out what you want if you have specific instructions. The staff even went as far as creating a special meal for one of our guests who hadn't told us about her dietary needs-- vegan, gluten free, soy free on the spot. Special mention for staff member Miguel.

The air conditioner didn't seem to be working too well. It wasn't hot or anything, but it wasn't cold either.

I wish the open bar that was included was the full five hours rather than four, as we really didn't want people having to pay for their drinks at any point in the evening. Unfortunately, even with most expensive package that was not the case. In addition, neither of us remember being made aware that only house alcohol was available in the open bar selection. It wasn't that big of a deal, in fact it makes sense, but I just wish we had been made aware of it.

In regards to the rehearsal, I would probably ask about how you are you going to make the entrance for the reception. That was not discussed at mine, so my whole wedding party ended up essentially walking around trying to figure it out when we were already a bit behind.

This may seem like a lot, but these were SUPER TINY details. The staff was amazing! They catered to my husband and me the entire night! They brought us cocktail hour food while we were taking photos, packed all our stuff at the end of the night, and gave me water every hour or so to make sure I wasn't dehydrated.
I was VERY HAPPY with the venue overall!

Everybody loved the space and view , table decoration was elegant . Services was great .the on side event manager Miguel was awesome , very attentive to bride and groom as well as guests .

Taryn and Hilliary were amazing. We met up with Hilliary on our first visit and met Taryn 10 days before the wedding. Both were very responsive in emails! Anything and everything that you wanted to know could be answered by Taryn or Hillary.

After our final meeting with Taryn before the wedding, I continued to email her about a meal change, some extra tables and easels, and Taryn said no problem to each email! It was great to see how helpful Taryn was to make wedding planning easier!

On the wedding day, my husband overheard a golf member try to eat in the reception hall (there is a bar that has two sides to serve the golf members and wedding guests). The golf member asked to sit on a table (which was already set by 2pm). Hilliary apologized to him and said he couldn't eat there because we were set up for a wedding. It was great to hear that once the venue is booked for your wedding, they treat it that way and don't book or let others use the area.

Miguel and the entire Alta Vista Staff were amazing. Before the wedding started, he had asked what our favorite drinks were and constantly replaced them with a new drink if we were low or if it was melted. Miguel had also taken our photographer, Nathan and us around on golf carts (you get to drive your own!) after the wedding ceremony and before the reception.

If you want to get your money's worth, Alta Vista is the way to go!

We want to thank you, Hilary, Miguel, Chris and all the Alta Vista staff who
helped make our day easy to transition. Miguel did such a great job at
providing good customer service. I don't recall anything that didn't go as
expected. He was by our side every step of the way from the beginning. The
decorations look great. I'm looking forward to getting our pictures. We will stop by soon to say hello and get some brunch.

Taryn did a fantastic job helping us get our wedding arrangements together. The services the day of event were great! Everyone was very polite making sure we were being serviced. Miguel was awesome!! Can't thank him enough for making everyone feel at home. Thank you!

The venue was so great for our wedding and we couldn't have asked for a better staff to help us with everything. Taryn was so great through all of the planning and prep work and Miguel was amazing at the reception and made sure we had anything and everything that we needed up until the very end of packing up our cars.

Taryn was a total sweetheart from day one. She had great recommendations for which vendors to use and who wouldn't charge an arm and a leg and still do a good job. I was a bit disappointed on the day of the wedding when I heard my mother (M.O.B.) was putting the finishing touches on the candy table because all of the goodies were not put out by the time we arrived at the venue. Also, a few guests were charged for drinks (we paid for an open bar for four hours) because they got a drink two minutes before the time officially started. The bar staff did not inform my guests they would not be charged if they would wait a few minutes. It felt like they were trying to make a little more money wherever they could. Miguel worked his tail off the entire night and was our right hand man. He was literally running next to the golf cart showing the photographers where to take us! I did not like how the staff took the cake in the back room to cut it. It appeared the cake was completely gone since they had stopped serving it. My guests complained about the service staff messing up the food orders and having to repeatedly ask to get their water glasses refilled. I also received complaints that coffee was not served after dinner. Overall, the reception was beautiful and looked great but I was expecting a more from the wait staff.
