Beautiful Wedding

Trina was such a help! Loved her, it felt like I’ve known her my whole life such a down to earth person. The venue was amazing with such pretty views of the mountains. Honeymoon cabin was beautiful and cozy. We forgot to do our marriage license so the minister came to us which was such a big help & meant so much to us.

Very laid back and easy

My husband and I had a very laid back and easy ceremony with no hustle and bustle. It was a perfect day on the mountain. Very sweet people and enjoyed every second of it. Thank you all!!!

The view, the view, the view!!! That sums up this beautiful venue. My wedding was August 11, 2018 at Almost Heaven, and my guests could not believe the view. Cindi and Octavia were a delight to work with. I planned my wedding from West Virginia so I relied on their assistance, as I'm not familiar with the local vendors. The day of the wedding, they kept everything moving, and left me with very little stress. I highly recommend this venue.

So fortunate to have been able to marry the woman of my dreams at this Beautiful location in the Smoky Mountains. The view is 2nd to none. Cindy the owner was amazing at helping keep things on track and in order. She is truly a top notch professional in the business with many years of experience.

Where to even begin??? Stan and I are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Cindy at Almost Heaven Resort & Weddings. Almost Heaven Resort is the PERFECT place to get married in the Great Smoky Mountains, with the most beautiful mountain views and a reception hall that is gorgeous. Cindy and her staff does an amazing job making sure every single detail is exactly what you want. There is no way I could have had the wedding of my dreams without Cindy! Almost Heaven was amazing to work with. They made our wedding day everything we dreamed it would be. They take care of everything for you and make the wedding planning process easy and stress-free. Cindi was so great to work with. She was very attentive to details, responds quickly to emails and calls and makes you feel like family throughout the whole process. My flowers, photography, cabin and hair and makeup all turned out great. Our pastor Ken Link did a great ceremony for us and made us feel very comfortable on our special day. Our wedding and reception at Almost Heaven were absolutely amazing!!! As a Pennsylvania bride planning a destination wedding in TN, I was a little nervous about everything coming together, and honestly planning for things to not be quite what I was imagining. Everyone warned me to be prepared for things to go wrong.
Cindi was super helpful in making sure every detail was covered in the planning process. She was attentive to all of our questions and requests, and advised us on how to best work with time constraints to make sure all our desires were met, while our guests could still have a relaxing evening. The day of the wedding she was efficient but friendly, joking around with the wedding party and keeping everyone where they needed to be and prepared for what they needed to do. With rain clouds in the distance, she gave us her advice, but asked our preference in delaying the ceremony and we said Nope! Let's do this! The view cleared and the rain held off.
Every part of the day completely exceeded our expectations!!! Their florist created a stunning bride's bouquet, the minister performed a touching and personal ceremony, the photographer got every shot we wanted and captured so many unexpected special moments, the food was amazing!!! and the caterers super friendly and helpful, the DJ was so nice, kept our guests dancing, and added our unique cake smash idea with comical flair. Cindi was kind eough to let us drop off decorations early since they had no other events that day...Imagine my surprise when my bridesmaids and I showed up an hour before the event, ready to take on the centerpieces and decorations....and everything was already set up and arranged even better than we ever could have done!
All of our guests are still raving about the views from the Sky and what a fun wedding it was. Everyone truly did everything they could to make our day special, and it turned out to be sooo much better than I ever imagined and a day we will never forget!!

This venue (wedding in the sky) was absolutely amazing. The staff is very knowledgeable and ready to assist with anything you might need. If you have questions DO NOT be afraid to ask. I can say that when I arrived to the venue, I felt like I had known the staff for years! They knew exactly how to react and respond to every emotion and or situation! I was totally amazed by everything ... absolutely beautiful, professional, yet you felt like you were home. You are the most important thing at that moment and they let you know it. I am so thankful I went with this venue!! Very grateful!!

Almost Heaven Resort was where my fiance (my husband now) and I decided to get married at. There were many places to choose from in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but their pictures that were advertised is what caught my eye. Then after talking with Cindy, I knew that's where I wanted to go. Cindy, Amber, and Bob where all awsome and so helpful. Cindy was the minister. She prayed with us and she was so easy to talk to. Amber was the wedding planner and helped me with my dress, my hair, and anything that I needed she was there. Bob was the photographer, he took so many pictures and captured every moment so we could have and cherrish them forever. I can not say enough good things about this group of people. They were so accommodating and such a pleasure to work with. If you are thinking about getting married while you are in or around Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg, I recommend this place. And the view is absolutely breath taking!!

The idea of getting married in a different state was exciting and something my husband and I thought would be very personal, unique, and memorable. But I instantly grew anxious when I considered all the planning and the difficulty thereof. Contacting Almost Heaven Resort and Weddings was a true blessing. The ladies in charge were welcoming, informative, honest and so very accommodating to all our wedding needs and desires every step of the way. The wedding venue was breathtaking, and never did the ceremony feel impersonal or rushed. These ladies even helped fix a problematic brideamaid's dress! Their suggested catering service for our reception meal was excellent as well- delicious food and polite service. To say the least, they went above and beyond our expectations to make our wedding stress-free and simply perfect! I would highly recommend Almost Heaven Resort and Weddings to anyone wanting an enjoyable, stress-free destination wedding experience.

I can truly say this was one of the best days of our lives. All I wanted was a beautiful mountain view and time with family but we got so much more. The staff was there to help with every detail and everything went smoothly. We were blessed with rain and not one but two rainbows. Pictures are amazing. My family and friends still tell us it was the best wedding they have ever been too. Raves about the view for the ceremony and the the beautiful reception venue. My parents have gone back to visit and were greeted by the staff and my husband and I have been able to visit to relieve our perfect day. If you want breathtaking views and a stress free wedding day this is the place to choose!

We were married in the spring and I wanted a certain flower for my bouquet. They had a very difficult time locating them but finally got them THE DAY BEFORE OUR WEDDING and stayed up late creating my beautiful arrangement! Such wonderful customer service! I can not begin to say how amazing Almost Heaven is. My wedding was absolutely stunning, it was everything I had ever dreamed of. Cindi and Suzette of Almost Heaven are incredible - they helped me pick out the right bouquets, music, and cake, they even helped me get into my dress! (which was quite a task!) They took such amazing care of my husband and I on our very special day, and made us feel completely comfortable and at ease through out the entire day. I highly recommend them!

I couldn't have asked for more! They were awesome! I was a little worried to use them because I live in MS and they are in TN. But they were always there for me when I called. Every email I sent was answered promptly and was helpful. The day of the wedding was kinda crazy and the weather looked like it was going to ruin my day but Betsy talked me through it and assured me that she would do everything in he power to make it a great day. That is the great thing about this place, the have 3 venues and they can move the ceremony if needed, due to weather. But my husband and I were only wanting to have it at the sky location. So she made it happen. Some how, I even got lost on the way up to the venue and she got in her car and came to the rescue :) The weather held off until after the ceremony and pictures, thank goodness! And the ceremony was beautiful! It was perfect! Betsy and her team were great! The pictures were amazing! I was a truly happy bride! Thanks to all that helped make our day so memorable! Wouldn't have changed a thing!!!

Highly recommend Almost Heaven Resort & Weddings!

We opted for a fall wedding - 11/11/11 at 11am! Despite this being a very popular date, the staff managed to accommodate our requests so that we were able to hold the ceremony at the time we requested. We only had a small private ceremony - no reception, so we can't really rate those services, but the photographer was very flexible, friendly and got a lot of great shots! Upon our request, he not only took pictures at the Chapel (where we had our ceremony), but also by the creek and up at the Sky View site. We plan to return sometime in the future to celebrate our anniversary!

They were amazing! Cindy and Besty made my wedding so easy and flowed very well. If you want a wedding that has wedding coordinators that truly care about you and want you wedding to be YOUR perfect wedding then come here! We did everything online and I had some freak out moments about never going to the place it self, but Cindy and Betsy put me at ease. They were very quick to respond to any questions I had and really cared about my concerns. Now let's talk about the scencary, it was spectacular! On top of the mountains, you can't get any prettier! I had the most amazing wedding! The photos were great, my stress was to the min, and it was the wedding we wanted! I strongly suggest using Almost heaven!

I found Almost Heaven while searching the internet for venues in the Gatlinburg area. I had contacted a couple of other places prior to Almost Heaven but chose them after speaking to Betsy (offic manager). I was impressed with their responsiveness and professionalism. I was skeptical choosing a place online but after our phone conversation I was completely at ease and confident choosing them to handle our wedding.
I found it very easy working with the girls at Almost Heaven. I was able to customize my very intimate wedding. There is A LOT of flexibility and you have so many options offered to you. We chose what we wanted and were never pressured to do anything different or never told "we can't do that."

Most of our communication was via email and some phone calls. I sent pics of the flowers I wanted and of some of the other details. They take care of EVERYTHING! It couldnt have been more stress free! On our wedding day everything was PERFECT and went off without a hitch! Photographer and minister were great!

We married at the Garden site and it was just beautiful! It's EXACTLY like it looks in the pics. While we did not have a reception there is a huge area to have one. It would be a great place if you choose to have your reception there!

I highly recommend Almost Heaven Wedding Resort. The girls there are great. They are very nice, down to earth, and true professionals!

We got married here on September 18th, 2012 and I would recommend this place to anyone. The Garden Site is breathtakingly BEAUTIFUL and the cabins were amazing. Cindy and Betsy are two of the most caring and amazing people. They go above and beyond to try and make your day special. I can't wait to go back and vist them again soon.

On May 2nd of 2012, my husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. Cindi Sharp and Betsy of Almost Heaven made it so special. They went above and beyond to ensure that our day would be memorable. My husband and I dressed casual and found a nice creekside bridge to renew our vows. The beautiful words that Cindi said during the ceremony had me crying from start to finish. She shared the most heartwarming and touching words, from her heart and from the bible. Cindi truly understands the sacred vows of love. Almost Heaven has breathtaking places to have your wedding, and they work with you to ensure your special day is how you want it. I loved that! If you are looking for a top quality wedding planner who goes above and beyond for you and makes all your dreams come true for that special event, then I highly recommend Almost Heaven. They have awesome clean cabins you can rent and the service is way above top notch. Thus the reason we keep coming back. Let me start by saying thank you to Cindy who spent the extra time making this the most precious day of my life. Where to begin? First of all the ceremony was just the right length of time, not to long but not to short. The wedding cake was beatiful. When I saw Joe dancing with his little girl, not so little now, but will be his little girl forever, need I say more. It brought tears to my eyes. This venue was amazing!! My husband and I planned a destination wedding with them. They always responded very quickly to our e-mails and concerns. For only meeting them once in person, our day was exactly want we wanted!! Cindy and Jenn set up everything from the photos, cake, catering, tuxs, ceremony, hair & make-up, and dj. We were so glad we had them to take care of everything, since we were swapped with family and friends coming into Gatlinburg.

A View to Remember

Everyone at the venue was more than helpful. I received multiple compliments on the hospitality and set up of the ceremony. I had a handful of people asking why they were having to travel so far for our wedding and once they arrived at the venue they couldn't put their phones down.

Venue is under new management, was a shock to me

I’ve recently spoke to the vendor after booking them months ago. They have since changed management and staff which was a shock and made me very nervous. So far I’ve only communicated by email the past couple days, but they were quick to respond and put me at ease.

Cyndi, Amber, and Bob did a wonderful job before, during, and after the wedding. They are all very friendly, helpful, and professional. Our pictures were absolutely beautiful. Before the ceremony there was an issue with my wedding dress and Amber and Cyndi were right on it and helped me fix it. All questions were answered quickly, the photographer was on it with all picture pose requests. I couldn't have asked for a better team. Thank you all again for everything.. the pictures were beautiful and the ceremony was perfect. Also, our honeymoon cabin was a perfect getaway (included in our wedding package)!

We started planning for the wedding this past August. We had initially emailed several wedding planners to get information about what they had to offer, but Cindi/Suzette were quick to respond and made us feel at ease with all the planning. We came up about a month before the wedding to get a feel for where everything was located. Cindi/Suzette sat down with us and made maps to help us get everywhere we needed to go that day. They would also send us a courtesy email just to check in on us to make sure that we didn't have any issues or concerns that needed to be addressed. We arrived the day before the wedding and met with Cindi/Suzette one final time. They had everything organized with no issues to deal with. They also offered hair/make-up. I (bride) went to Tonya/Inspiration Hair Design and she was amazing! She has 19+ years of experience and did exactly what I asked her too. My make-up and hair was flawless. The day of the wedding Cindi/Suzette arrived early to the wedding site (Sky view) and began putting everything into motion. I (bride) was able to go and get ready with no worries about everything running smoothly, they had it all under control. The wedding was simple and elegant. The photographer was great and had an awesome personality to navigate the family/friends to get all the shots that we desired. We also stayed in their honeymood cabin (Bright Star), which was amazing. We stayed for a total of 4 nights and had the most fabulous time! We would strongly encourage you to use Almost Heaven. They helped us make our special day one to remember.

We got married at the Sky Site and it was fantastic! Cindi and Jenn were sweethearts, and the staff that were there for the big day couldn't have been more helpful. We were treated like royalty! People ask me all time, "Where did you get married?"!! And just love love love our photos! Thanks Almost Heaven for always putting a smile on my face when I remember our Wedding Day! :)
The only reason I did 4.5 for the Service was b/c of the DJ. They might actually have someone else DJ'ing for them now, but when we were there they used "Entertainment Services". I would not use them. It was a lot of money for not so great of a DJ service.
Other than that, everything was great, the food was wonderful! I would highly recommend using their catering service. I can't say enough how helpful the staff was. Great great people!

I loved the location and the photos of our day were absolutely beautiful. I had numerous exchanges via email and phone leading up to the big day and the staff did a great job of helping me finalize all of the details. We only had our ceremony there and went to a local restaurant for our reception, so I am unable to rate anything related to the reception services. However, our ceremony was beautiful and everyone was very friendly. It was nice for all of our family and friends to be able to stay at Cobbly Knobb in their own cabins of choice. We had a wonderful time there and created some wonderful memories. :)

The venue was great, the staff was great, the only thing they forgot, was that I ordered bubbles for when we came out of the chapel, and it was one of the things I was most excited about. So there were no bubbles, but everything else was so wonderful. They made up for it by giving us a personal wedding cake, when I would have just rather had the money for the bubbles refunded, but they did feel awful about it. We stayed in a cabin after, and it was amazing. I would highly reccomend using Almost Heaven. Every one of the guests were highly impressed with everything. They loved the idea of an intimate and small wedding, and were thrilled to be a part of it.

We did not book with this venue but did interview with them and toured their facility. The package pricing they offer seemed like a very good deal, which is why we considered them, but the trade off is definitely in the flexibility of options. Also, the venue obviously offers one of the best views you could ask for, but again the trade off is an incredibly steep and risky drive up to the top of a mountain (and then back down)....a little worrisome for guests who aren't used to driving in the mountains! (which was most of our since this was a destination wedding!)

Looking back, my husband and I would both definitely get married again at Almost Heaven! The staff worked with us very well and were very professional. They answered all my questions and made it very easy to plan our wedding considering they were in TN and I was in Ohio. I wasn't completely impressed with the photography. For being "professional" pictures there were some things that I would have thought would have been better (for instance, in the photo of my family one of my bridesmaid's was sitting in the front pew so her back is in the photo and the hands of one of the groomsmen was also in the picture). I had bought an additional 30 minutes of photography and the photographer wanted to stop taking pictures before we had even started the 30 extra minutes. I told him that I had paid for additional photography and he said that he knew that, but felt that he had enough pictures already. I told him we were going to take pictures until my time was up, so he did, but the pictures taken after that point were not very good. Outside of the photography I loved my experience at Almost Heaven. The cabins are very nice with all the amenities you could possibly need. We drove around to view the other wedding areas (we were married in the chapel) and if I could do it over I would probably definitely use one of the outside areas (but the chapel is beautiful).

Overall our experience was OK with Almost Heaven. We had several instances of communication issues between a consultant leaving and information being lost in email and what was written down in pencil by the coordinator. Also the day of there were a few frustrations with set up. I wouldn't go with them for the "coordination" portion of the package but the location is worth it all.

When I told Almost Heaven about my cake and flower choices, they did not seem to listen or trust my choices. They asked the same questions over and over but I always gave the same answers. My flowers still didn't turn out quite the way I wanted. Also, I asked for the initial of our last name to be put on the top of the cake in frosting. I asked for it very clearly and multiple times, but when we got to the wedding, the top of the cake was totally blank. One of the Almost Heaven staff members showed up to the wedding in a t shirt and capris, and had to be cropped out of several pictures. Also, be prepared to clean everything up after the wedding and reception are over.

I'm not saying don't get married here. Definitely do. it's gorgeous...
All I am saying is do your research and your taste tests and have your own coordinator for the day of...
PROS
- INCREDIBLE VIEW!!
-Cake was fantastic and absolutely gorgeous!
-Owners assistant Jennifer, is wonderfully helpful and should be promoted to operate the whole thing. She is the only reason why I am even giving them ONE star for professionalism.....!
CONS
-The catering was good. Not terrible but not anything special. The meat was dry and the veggies were over seasoned, but the veggie lasagna is AMAZING!!! We got it for the few vegetarian friends and family, and it turned out to be the most tasty thing on the menu!!
- The site is really difficult to get to, especially for the "out of towners". A lot of our guests left right as it got dark because of the lack of street lights, proper signs, and heavy branches that littered the road up the mountain...:-(which is a private road that Almost Heavens is responsible for)
-All the decor and the cabins are intensely dated back to 93.
- It's really sad because this place has huge potential which is why I am TOTALLY HOLDING BACK on this review. They charge you an arm and a leg here and the things that went wrong could have easily been prevented but obviously it's the people who run it. Really sad cause it's beautiful up there. Its God's country..

Cabin Stay

The cabin itself is absolutely amazing—clean, spacious, and the view is truly incredible. It was the perfect setting for a peaceful getaway, and we really enjoyed our time there in terms of the property and location.
However, communication with the hosts was extremely difficult and frustrating. Any time we asked a question, we were told they had to ask someone else, and we rarely received answers prior to our stay. During our stay we reported that the fire pit wasn’t working, we got no response at all. The hot tub was also not working but we didn’t reach out because never got any responses back.
We also held our small wedding here (just a 20-minute ceremony with 23 guests, all staying at the property), and unfortunately, it was a nightmare to plan with the hosts. There were several hidden fees that were never listed on Vrbo—such as a wedding fee, required insurance, and even a mandatory security guard—despite the event being very low-key and intimate with no reception. These details would have been helpful to know up front.
I would recommend this cabin for a vacation or group stay, as the property itself is wonderful. But I would recommend it for hosting a wedding or special event but be aware of lack of clear communication and unexpected costs.

Poor communications, did not do as planned and promised.

Had a wedding there. Used their hall. Wedding planner did not do most of the things she was supposed to do. Had to go around and do things myself. Bartender did not know what alcohol we provided and did not serve it. Hall was not decorated as promised. We did not receive our photos for months. Multiple issues, beautiful area, beautiful backgrounds for photos. Hall was well cleaned well for the reception. Folks working the reception were polite and very nice, except the bartender. Maybe she was having an off day, don't know.

Event was fine. But when I forgot an item in the cabin and asked for them to mail to me at my expense it "wasn't found" Big lie! Wither the housekeeper are thrives and lyres or the owner is to lazy to mail an important item back to a guest the spent a thousand dollars at her establishment

I was so excited about choosing this location for my ceremony and reception. I was incredibly let down on my wedding day by the staff and facility. The site was mountain top with a climate controlled reception facility; however on my wedding day the AC was not working properly so it was incredibly hot. The staff did not do anything to help make us more comfortable. They did not set up enough tables in the facility for my entire guest list eventhough I had paid for enough seats. They didn't start setting up for my wedding until 1.5 hours before the ceremony, so they were still setting up when the guests arrived. Overall, everything I had them to do or provide they didn't follow through at the level I would have expected for the price. I was very disappointed in the end and I spoke with the general manager following the wedding about my complaints and she said she would talk to the staff and call me within 2 weeks and I never heard from them again. All they want is your money and don't care about how it turns out. Stay away

Run away now

Run away as fast as you can! This place is an absolute nightmare. If you have a tab open with their website, close it and don't look back. Carefully read anything they send you, especially if you booked with someone like VRBO. Their contract is not the same as what you agreed upon and they will use it to rob. As for the customer service.... good luck. When you do get someone to answer the phone, she is absolutely useless and cannot provide you with any info at all. Kepp track of all your communications and keep them safe for when you have to open a dispute with your credit\ card company to try and retrieve your money. Again, I say RUN!

Not worthy of trust for your wedding day

Everything was great until they showed up unannounced without permission (against Vrbo rules) to our wedding day, taking pictures, then using pictures to attempt to frame us for scratching up the floor even though we provided timestamp pictures proving they were pre-existing. What kind of people run a wedding venue business and then try to extort the couples? People who don't deserve future business or a positive review. Believe the negative reviews you read. Go elsewhere. These people are bad and they should feel bad.

Dishonest Company

DO NOT BOOK HERE! Absolutely horrendous experience booking with this place. We had booked Breathtaking Views in August for a few nights and planned to get married on site. From day one, communication was AWFUL. I started by calling the resort before even booking to ask some questions about the property and told them I was getting married on the property. The woman that answered the phone (Mary) told me she would pass my information on to the person that handles weddings (Robin). I waited weeks and weeks for even an email response from this person that was supposed to be responsible for events on the property because I was told that a wedding would have to be approved and an event fee would have to be paid. Like most rentals in the area, I expected to pay an event fee and this was not the issue. After multiple weeks of waiting I finally was added to a phone call with Robin and a type of finance manager maybe (Stephanie). I was told by Stephanie that the event fee is $1000 and that if alcohol is on the property a security guard would have to be hired and a licensed bartender. Mind you, the house we booked sleeps almost 50 people and we were not planning to have many more people there than that and were not planning to have a bar just BYOB. I was willing to pay the event fee, but did not think it was necessary to hire a security guard or bartender since there was no bar. I was told by Stephanie that we would discuss this. Never heard back from her again. Reached out to Robin the next week to follow up because I was not given Stephanie’s information and she said she could not guarantee that the event fee would be $1000 and it will probably be more???? Like what?? She had me fill out a survey….twice …for info about the wedding because she couldn’t find the first email? Just wait it gets better. She then called me a couple weeks later to discuss the event fee. She then told me the event fee would be $1800. I told her that Stephanie had already told me that the fee was $1000 and that she was even in on that call. She stated that she did not recall that phone call. A few days later we were connected to another person whose role in this business I don’t even know (Leroy Tanker) that told us it was a law in Gatlinburg for events that a security guard had to be present and a bartender (for no bar?) AND also we had to pay someone from the resort to supervise our event??? We asked for the law that stated these policies and were told by Leroy that we were being difficult and hard to work with and HE HUNG UP. A couple days later I received a refund of my deposit to my bank account. DO NOT BOOK HERE. Awful communication, rude employees and a completely dishonest and disgraceful business.

Horrific Nightmare

If I could give them no stars I would. This venue is an absolute SCAM! I wish I read and the other reviews thoroughly before booking my wedding. It’s 1/7/22 and my wedding was planned for 4/23/22. It has been an awful year and a half planning my wedding with cece. My mother and I got ‘black listed’ from this venue for ‘asking too many questions’. My future mother in law stepped in and after months of being ghosted and getting unanswered questions she decided to reach out to the Smokey Mountain Wedding Board. This venue has a class action law suit against them for not holding up to their contracts. She reached back out to this venue to find out a new owner has come in within the last year (no mention of that from anyone). We had a all inclusive contract written and we’re told it is no longer inclusive because vendors won’t work at this venue. and now instead of $4k for the venue it was $6k. The owner responded to my FMIL bad review saying we didn’t pay and this is our own fault, and spreading rumors and lies. We asked for the contract for MONTHS to sign and pay and the communication was horrific and never received it. CALL THE SMOKEY MOUNTAIN WEDDING BOARD!!!! THEY WONT REFUND US OUR DEPOSIT! This place is ! PLEASE Stay as far away as you can.

They will NOT provide promised services

This was a nightmare. Communication is non existent. We had to walk away and change venues 4 months before the wedding. The owner, Leroy, refused to honor original proposals and contracts. Informed me they are no longer all inclusive and the venue fee went up. And refused to return my deposit.

They are not all inclusive anymore because vendors will not work here. There is possible pending legal action.

Run from this venue.

Our wedding was, unfortunately, six days after the wildfires in December of 2016 where we also lost our home in Gatlinburg. The venue was out of power until a few days before the wedding, and there was no water including the day of our wedding. Cindy and her son refused to give us an entire refund because they said that the power would be on by the wedding (which did happen) and they would rent "very nice" portable wedding bathrooms and would provide bottle water. We told them we had to get another venue and they still refused to refund our money. After three calls, they finally agreed to a marginal discount and said he could not do anymore since they already prepared the venue and rented the bathrooms. He then told us that if anyone called him again, he would keep all the money and not let us on the property for our wedding (this conversation was the day before our wedding). So we chose to have our ceremony at the site because we didn't have time to find any other options and we were out a substantial amount of money. When we got to the venue the morning of the wedding (because they wouldn't let us go there earlier even though there were no other weddings), none of the chairs or tables were set up. There was trash and leaves on the floor. And to no one's surprise, there were no bathrooms or bottled water, and the water was still not working.

Needless to say, I would never recommend this venue. Rarely do weddings go as planned, and if they are this terrible when something as devastating as this happens to the community, I can't imagine what they would be like for a typical wedding.

most unprofessional leadership i have seen anywhere. at our reception they completely forgot our wedding cake for all of our guests and blamed it on the baker. (we didnt pay the baker) We started on the mountain 15 minutes late and at the end The coordinator cindy locked our stuff in the building as she was rushing to get everyone out. We paid an extra 50 dollars to have our own songs played on a little hand held radio and she didnt play but about 20 seconds of each song. 10 out of our 24 guests were joking of how rude cindy was not letting us take an extra 10 seconds to get a picture with a set of family members which we did not get. When i called in to see what could be done, they would not let me speak to the owner but instead directed me to cindy. She said because we had 24 people instead of 20 we should have paid more money. I think she treats this more as a numbers game instead of an actual wedding. We will not have photos of the bride and groom cutting the cake like 100 percent of all other weddings but according to cindy if we would have paid an additonal 350 dollars she wouldnt have locked all our stuff in the room and rushed into her car to get a smoke, nor would we have missed our cake and she wouldnt have been so rude that the entire family that i paid to come see our wedding, hadnt of been commenting about rushing everyone out. There were not wedding parties scheduled after our wedding. She offered to give back the 150 for the cake but because we had 4 more guests than expected we got a good bargain she says....
