Sweetest Team and Most Talented Alterations!
I absolutely adore Joon from Allys Bridal! She was so sweet and accommodating and her team is incredibly talented. I wanted an open back for my wedding gown so she worked with me over numerous appointments to ensure my vision came to life. We did have to make a small adjustment but she truly tried everything before conceding that a strap had to be added to keep the dress from falling off and, honestly, I appreciated her candor so much more! They really can do anything and Allys Bridal and I will absolutely be going back for any and all alterations. In fact, I sent my friend here for an alteration and they turned a former wedding guest gown into a sexy party dress for her birthday. Cannot recommend them enough! -

Ally was recommended to me for wedding gown alterations. I brought her my Jenny Yoo gown and let her work her magic. My dress only needed minimal alterations. Over the course of 7 months I came to see Ally for fittings. She did such an amazing job on my dress, I was so happy with the result. She was professional, friendly and always helpful. Highly recommend Ally! -

I can't say enough good things about Ally. Her prices are extremely reasonable - she charges a flat fee based on the complexity of the alterations and doesn't stop until they're perfect. When I first bought my dress, I went back and forth on it a lot, but I'm so glad I stuck with it and brought it to Ally. I got so many compliments on my dress, and many people said it looked like the dress was made for me!

She is kind, attentive and accommodating. She helped bustle my rehearsal dinner dress and completed the alterations for one of my bridesmaids back in February. She recently helped me figure out my wedding gown bustle, and was able to squeeze me in without much notice. I highly recommend Ally's Bridal! -

I came to Allys in late August for my Wedding in November. Ally was a pleasure to work with. Although my dress did not need much for alterations, it did require some, and I felt very comfortable leaving it with Ally to fix the length and bust. Ally also created custom-made buttons from the material from the bottom of my dress to add a detail I really wanted on the back (which also doubled as my bustle). I would recommend anyone to go to her for any formal dress alterations. I really did love my dress, and it was perfect for my wedding day. -

OMG Ally is a magician and was incredible with my wedding dress! She came highly recommended from friends who went to her and my dress didn't fit when I first tried it on so I was anxious. But she literally worked her magic to make it fit me PERFECTLY. And as I lost weight she kept fixing it and the hem took weeks and there were 7 bustles. It was so much work and she really did an incredible job to make my wedding dress exactly how I wanted it to look and for it to fit me perfectly. Ally did so much work to make it my dream dress and it was worth every penny! -

I highly recommend Ally for any wedding alterations! She is absolutely incredible, super detail oriented, and will help get you to the most perfect fit in your wedding dress. Ally created a seamless transition to two separates for my wedding gown. She created a sketch from the beginning and quoted on a reasonable price. With several fittings, she never increased the price and delivered the most beautiful results. She is flexible and will see you as many times before the dress is completed to get the best fit! -

Maira Sent on 07/25/2018Ally is AMAZING, SUPER TALENTED! I bought my dress at RK Bridal in Manhattan, it was a few sizes too big by the time I needed to get it fitted and it looked all sloppy on me. Ally was patient and tweaked it in month by month, all at one flat price no matter how many times she needed to take it in. She was always so pleasant and liked to see my baby girl during my dress fittings, she made the experience feel so good. She made the dress fit me and my curves, it's so important to feel beautiful, sexy and confident on your special day and with her magic that is exactly how I felt. My husband complimented my dress and how I looked in it :-D I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALLY AND HER BOUTIQUE. she sells wedding gowns and flower girls dresses and I can only assume they are the best quality because she only provides QUALITY work. Thank you ALLY!

Jenifer Sent on 06/05/2018I brought the sample dress I fell in love with to Ally Bridal. It was two sizes too big and had delicate embroidery, lace, and crystals all around the body of the dress. Ally contoured it to me perfectly and was helpful in figuring out how to make it a little more modest around the bustline. I was thrilled with the result, impressed with the flat pricing (no matter how many fittings you have, it's just one price), and ended up getting the perfect veil to match my dress at Ally's. I will be bringing all of my formal dress alterations to Ally in the future! -

My dress was a bit too big when I bought it, but the sheer panels and lace patterns made me worried that it would be difficult to tailor without changing the design. In the end, you'd never know any changes were made, and it fit like a glove. I didn't have a veil, and she was able to recommend a custom headband that matched perfectly. You have two options in Hoboken if you want to have your wedding dress altered; if you're looking for a beautiful setting and someone who clearly knows what she's doing, you should definitely go to Ally. The cost is slightly higher, but well worth the value and experience. -

Her pricing is very reasonable, and she provides a flat fee for all alterations based on dress complexity—that was reassuring since it meant no hidden charges later. Like a lot of brides, I was worried about a bustle that looked bunchy and unflattering, but Ally suggested a beautiful alternative that worked perfectly with my dress. For anyone in NYC, Ally’s shop is easy to get to using the PATH—definitely worth the trip! -

Private U. Sent on 08/17/2015Ally did an absolutely amazing job altering my wedding dress. She even made me detachable cap sleeves from the hem of my dress for the church ceremony. She also made me two veils and replaced the sash that came with my dress with a much more expensive fabric she happened to have in the store. Not only was her work impeccable, she talked me off the ledge when I started to second guess my choice in wedding gowns. My sister-in-law is getting married and I just took my bridesmaid gown to Ally for alterations. I won't go elsewhere. I highly recommend her. -

Evelyn Sent on 12/02/2011Yay to Ally! She took my dress down two sizes. Ally was wonderful. Friendly, receptive, and an expert. She listened to what I wanted and offered her expert advice in a gentle and genuine way. She really cares about how you feel and look in your wedding dress. She took her time with me and I truly appreciated what she did with my dress. The bustle was simple, but dramatic. My MOH had no problem doing the bustle the day of the event. During my first fitting I told Ally I planned on losing weight and may need some dramatic alterations. She simple said ok, I'll take it in about an inch and then during the next fitting we will see how much more it will need. Well, at the 2nd fitting she had to take it in another inch plus. I wanted a really fitted look, but she advised against it, suggesting I would be more comfortable sitting and dancing if it was a tad loose. Boy was she right! Thank you, Ally!
PS I was worried alterations would cost more than my dress (purchased at David's Bridal), but she was reasonably priced. Especially considering how much work had to be done. -

Gina Sent on 09/06/2011Went to Ally's with just about a month to go before my 'big day'. She was able to adjust the length and re-sew my lacework so that you didn't even know it had been touched. She also took the dress in a few inches when I crash dieted 2 weeks before the event AND suggested sewing buttons down the back to hide the original zipper. The dress came out absolutely erfect! She was super nice and was always ready when I came in for my appointments. Loved the one-on-one attention! A++

Kaitlyn Sent on 10/13/2017Ally was a pleasure to work with when it came to alterations in my gauze, tulle and lace wedding dress by Pronovias.
I bought the dress from the flagship store in Manhattan but decided against getting it altered there because of some truly awful reviews on Yelp (multiple brides not having their dress done the day before their wedding!). I'm glad I found Ally. She works with a fixed price, and the price was higher (+$80) than the price the Pronovias flagship quoted, but I decided it was worth it for the peace of mind and the convenience (I live in Hoboken).
Now, you may worry about the fact that it was a fixed price, but their really is no need. Ally is a perfectionist. She made changes that she didn't really need to (I wouldn't have noticed unless she pointed them out), but that did make a difference. The biggest was the neckline of my dress. It was a lace, bateaux neckline and she tinkered with it until she got it to lay just right. And you couldn't even tell by looking at the dress that anything had been done to that lace ! -

I had my wedding dress altered at Ally's. She did.an amazing job creating the bustle and was still making changes during my last fitting. Allys also charges a flat fee which is frear of your dress meeds to have quite a few things done. I would recommend anyone to go to her for alterations
