I cannot recommend ABB more highly! I worked with Allison and her team for my hair & makeup (along with 9 bridesmaids) for my June 2023 wedding in Newport, and I could not have been happier. Emma and Leah did my hair and makeup and were FANTASTIC - not to mention such lovely, easygoing people! I went into my initial trial with a vague idea of the look I was going for, and it's like they were able to read my mind and deliver my dream bridal look with very little direction! Leading up to our wedding, Allison was the MOST organized, thorough, and communicative vendor. She made the planning process so easy and seamless. If ABB is available for your big day, book them! :)

Allison Barbera Beauty was fabulous - my hair stylist was Ana and my makeup artist was Paige. They were both fantastic. I was nervous because I wanted to change some things from the hair trial but Ana knew what I wanted and made my changes PERFECTLY. Paige made me feel so beautiful, my makeup has literally never been better. Everyone felt so comfortable around them and they made the wedding day fun and enjoyable. Highly, highly recommend!

Allison’s entire team is incredible - Leah and Nicole made me feel absolutely amazing on my special day and same with my mom, mother-in-law, and NINE bridesmaids! Everyone looked gorgeous and truly can't thank your team enough. Makeup was natural but gorgeous, everyone felt their self! My mom’s hair turned out INCREDIBLE and she has very thin hair so she was super happy with her up do!
Pricing and service was impeccable and the entire team worked efficiently and quickly - we were ahead of schedule with 12 women.

It was incredibly easy to communicate with the owner, Allison, about logistics and otherwise. The whole process was seamless - which is so helpful when you're in the throws of wedding planning. My makeup artist, Emma, was so personable, kind, and talented. My bridesmaid's makeup artist, Paige, was the same. Everyone was very happy with their makeup and said they 'got exactly what they wanted'.

An Amazing Way to Start the Wedding Day!
My husband and I had the BEST experience with ABB! Hair and makeup were initially at the bottom of my wedding todo list and as the date got closer I realized how important it was that I felt comfortable and set the right tone for the day. Allison was such an experienced professional and worked with me closely to customize an experience that felt right for me! I specifically asked if the people on her team were comfortable and familiar with working with dyed hair (mine is purple) as well as Asian facial features and skin (me and most of my bridal party). Lauren did my hair and Nicole did my make-up - they were able to join at a home rental where my parents and siblings were staying and my whole bridal party (which included men and women) were able to hangout while I got ready. We had such a fun morning that was lively and energizing for the big day. I'm not a big fan of full glam and Nicole was able to do make-up that really felt like an enhanced version of me (light on coverage, dark smoky eye). At the end of the session, my now-husband even stopped by to get a quick hair touch-up from Lauren (he's got shoulder length wavy hair) and was able to get a quick concealer touch-up from Nicole when he woke up with a big red blemish on his face! We had the best day and the make-up lasted well into the late evening after a full day and lots of dancing.

Katie did an absolutely incredible job with my makeup, I said I still wanted to look like myself just a bit more elevated than my normal every day makeup and she 1000% delivered. Lauren and Emma did my hair and makeup respectively - they were incredible.
Before the day, it was such a joy to work with Allison. She was always proactively communicative, prompt in her replies and so clear in setting timing expectations and scheduling. She made our hair and make up schedule work seamlessly - even though I had to add someone last minute - and she answered any questions my wedding party and I had - even the most detailed ones. Both she and my makeup artist, Emma, did an incredible job of integrating my thoughts from my trial into our plan for the day of.
On the day of, both Emma and Lauren were fabulous - they made me and my wedding party feel so special, seen, beautiful and at ease. They provided professional suggestions while also easily taking into account our preferences and visions. Everyone looked stunning and natural - and the makeup lasted all night long.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience working with Allison Barbera Beauty for my wedding day. Allison was extremely supportive and responsive during the planning stages, and her keen attention to detail helped me to feel confident that there were no oversights. Everything ran smoothly and according to plan as we got ready, and I don't believe this would have been possible without Allison's detailed planning tools and advice leading up to my wedding day.
I was extremely happy with the hair and makeup services provided by Lauren & Kristin, who helped make my dream wedding look a reality. I would consider myself to be very picky with my hair and makeup, yet at the start of the wedding planning process I had no clue what I wanted for my dream wedding look. Lauren and Kristin were fantastic with helping me to find my vision, and then make my dreams come to life. I met with them prior to my wedding for 2 different wedding hair & makeup trials, which allowed me to explore two different styles and get a feel for what I liked the best. Both Lauren and Kristin worked extensively with me to ensure that I was happy with the end result and that I took steps leading up to my big day to look my absolute best.
Lauren, Kristin, and the rest of their team were all incredibly supportive on my wedding day, particularly as I was navigating multiple emergency situations and unexpected challenges that cropped up at the last minute. It was a much tougher weekend than I expected because of this, and many things leading up to my wedding day did not go according to plan. Lauren and Kristin both were so kind, warm, and patient with me on the morning of my wedding, which I believe played a critical role in helping me get through the wedding day flawlessly in spite of the tremendous additional stress and lack of sleep. I can't emphasize enough how much I appreciate them!!!!
The Allison Barbera beauty team also did an exceptional job with providing hair and makeup services for my bridal party, my mother, and my mother-in-law. Everyone looked absolutely flawless, and the team was very lovely to work with. The team was also fantastic with accommodating different style requests and needs from my bridal party & family, while still making sure that everyone has a final look that fit in with my vision as the bride.

Emma and her team was everything we wanted. In my trial, Emma listened to my preferences and asked thoughtful questions. She exceeded my expectations. When it came to wedding day, Emma and her partner were punctual and time conscious. They did not make us feel rushed, but accommodated everyone and their desired looks within the given time frame. Amazing experience and still booking with them for events!
We worked with Allison for our wedding makeup services based on the recommendation of our venue and she did not disappoint! Booking and payment was super easy, our trial went really smoothly and we had a wonderful day of experience which had services wrapped ahead of timeline for the day which was so important on the wedding day. We worked with Emma and Paige for airbrush services for 10 ladies and everyone loved their look. I loved Emma so much I booked her again when i was in town for a winter event and will continue to use them for any future service needs. Can't recommend them enough!!

Perfect makeup
Allison Barbera Beauty was a great company to work with for our wedding makeup services. Jen was our artist, and did an amazing job with all of the girls' makeup. Everyone looked absolutely stunning. It was the best feeling in the world when I looked into the mirror and felt confident in how natural and beautiful my makeup was. It lasted all day long and looked flawless in the pictures. Jen was so easy going, fun to chat with, and really just blended into the bridal party that day like a friend. Our florist even complimented everyone's makeup, saying that he's seen so many brides who can't move their faces because of the caked-on products, and loved how natural everyone in the party looked. Allison was very easy to communicate with throughout the process, and Jen was just the perfect artist for our day. I can't recommend the company and Jen enough!

So easy to work with and made my bridal party look great!
Allison's team did hair and makeup for myself, my 5 bridesmaids, my mother, and my sister-in-law for my September 2022 wedding. We were lucky enough to have booked some pretty incredible vendors, and Allison was probably still the most communicative, responsive, and organized among them.
Katie + Paige did our makeup services, and Kerri + LuWayne did our hair. Everyone was punctual, friendly, and made our getting-ready timeline very efficient. Katie and Kerri did my makeup and hair. I did 1 makeup trial with Katie which she nailed and then recreated on my wedding day, and I did 2 hair trials with Kerri only because I kept changing my mind on what I wanted to do. Katie and Kerri both took notes on the feedback given from my trials and did an incredible job giving me exactly what I wanted on the big day. My bridesmaids/mom/SIL all looked amazing and were very happy with their services. My mom is extremely particular with her hair and doesn't wear a lot of makeup usually, so this is high praise from her especially.
If there's one thing I learned from wedding planning it's to book vendors who not only do great work, but who are also responsive, organized, and make you feel like they will have everything under control on your wedding day. Allison Barbera Beauty checked all those boxes and delivered on every expectation!

My experience with Allison Barbera Beauty was top notch from the very beginning. Allison was super responsive right from the get-go, made scheduling trials so easy, and had a comprehensive and detailed explanation of costs. Emma did my makeup trials and makeup looks for myself and my bridesmaids. EVERYONE adored her and we all felt so beautiful when we headed out for the actual ceremony and reception. She worked really hard to make sure everyone's makeup suited them and their own style. It was HOT out, and our makeup still looked awesome well on into the evening. Leah did my hair trial and hair for myself and my bridesmaids for the big day. Again, everyone loved her and were so happy with how their hair turned out. My hair was even better than it was after the trial, because I trusted Leah implicitly and let her adjust the look the day of to better suit my hair and the look I was going for. She really worked hard to make sure each girls hair worked for them and made them feel beautiful. Truly, I would recommend Allison Barbera Beauty, and specifically Emma and Leah, to anyone for their wedding or big event!

I worked with Katie and Leah from Allison Barbera Beauty for my August wedding and they did fantastic work! Our hair and makeup looked incredible and held up well during the hot and humid day. Although I never met Allison in person, she was great to work with and extremely responsive. She made the bridal trial/day of coordination very easy. I used Allison Barbera Beauty for my wedding day on July 23rd, 2022. We were very happy with our services. There was a minor snafu where we were supposed to get airbrush makeup but it wasn't scheduled, but we were fine without it and were not charged for it. All of my bridesmaids liked their hair and makeup and Kristin and Leah were very friendly and made the day enjoyable and easy.

I am so happy I booked Allison Barbera beauty team for my hair and makeup for my wedding. Lauren is the stylist that did my hair and she blew me away. I literally started crying happy tears when I saw my completed hair look after she finished. We had 7 bridesmaids, 3 parents, and 1 grandparent get their hair/make-up done and everyone loved it! Leah & Paige were absolutely delightful to work with and set the tone (fun & relaxed) for the rest of the day! They arrived on time, made sure to check in with each of us on our vision for our hair & makeup, were low-maintenance, and did a great job with everyone in our group. I was particularly impressed with their hair & makeup for my stepmom. She had selected some very traditional "Mother of the Bride" images as her hair & makeup inspiration (nothing wrong with that!) but Leah & Paige did a great job making her look age-appropriate, modern, and stunning.
Allison was also SUPER buttoned up through the entire process and made the booking, planning, and day of a breeze. Really helpful for someone like me who knows nothing about hair and makeup!
Highly recommend ABB if you're looking for an elevated and natural look for your wedding day!

We had such an amazing time working with Allison Barbera Beauty. Allison was so quick and clear with all communications. Leah was our hair stylist and Paige was our make up artist and they were both excellent. I did a trial and they both knew exactly the look I was going for. On my wedding day they were prompt and stuck to the schedule which is always so important when working with a wedding timeline. Paige and Leah were both so professional and fun! All of us loved our hair and make up and it was truly my favorite professional beauty styling I’ve ever had. Allison and her team were amazing to work with. Leading up to the wedding, Allison was easily the most responsive and organized vendor that I had, accommodating many schedule changes, some of which were last minute. The day of the wedding, the team of Kerri, Paige, Leah and Candie were incredible. I had a very large bridal party of 11 bridesmaids, as well as my mother and mother-in-law who got hair/makeup, and the team was so accommodating and efficient. They made sure everyone was satisfied with their final look. Kerri and Paige in particular went above and beyond. Kerri re-did my mom's hair completely after she had finished, and she was so gracious and kind about it. After finishing the ladies' hair and makeup, Paige went to my where my now husband was getting ready in order to give him a little makeup too, since he had an allergic reaction to something the day of the wedding! As far as my bridal hair and makeup, I am still blown away. My hair was the stuff of wedding dreams - Kerri far surpassed my expectations. For my makeup, Paige took every single suggestion and concern that I brought up during my makeup trial and incorporated them to to a T. The makeup was natural while still making me look like I was a bride on my wedding day! And my bridesmaids had wonderful things to say about Leah and Candie as well. As someone who does not typically wear makeup or do anything fancy with my hair, I was nervous that I wouldn't look like "myself" the day of my wedding. The team at Allison Barbera Beauty is incredibly skilled at elevating your look in such a natural and beautiful way. I cannot recommend highly enough!

Allison was great to work with throughout the entire wedding process. Our original 2020 wedding was postponed and she was very flexible about rescheduling to 08/14/2021. On the wedding day, she and her team were very punctual and did an amazing job! My makeup looked glam, but natural, which is exactly the look I was going for. Out of all of the vendors that I worked with, Allison was the most responsive and organized. I am so glad that I picked her for my wedding hair and makeup and would absolutely recommend her!

Amazing experience - would absolutely work with again!
Allison and her team were absolutely amazing to work with and made me and my bridal party feel our best on my wedding day! We worked with Kerri and Lauren for hair and everyone was so happy with how it turned out. I had initially done trials with several vendors, but Kerri nailed it with exactly what I had envisioned on the first try!
Allison was also super organized and communicative throughout the entire wedding process! Thanks to her we had a relaxing morning getting ready and even finished early. I would 100% recommend Allison and her team and work with them again in a heartbeat!

We hired Paige and Shaina from Allison Barbera Beauty to do the bridal party makeup for our wedding in Newport, RI. Everyone absolutely loved their looks! We looked naturally beautiful and felt like ourselves. Allison was my main point of contact throughout the wedding process and she was always quick to respond and wanted to make sure that we had a great experience. She was also very up-to-date on COVID restrictions and what was happening in the state of Rhode Island. In addition, I feel that the services are a great value. As I was doing research I found other providers could be very expensive, and it was important to me to try to keep costs down for the bridal party. I have nothing but positive things to say about Allison Barbera Beauty! 10/10 recommend!

I had such a wonderful experience working with Allison Barbera Beauty. From the initial conversations all the way through the week of the wedding, Allison was incredibly organized and responsive. She created a day-of schedule that was so helpful and made our getting ready process so seamless.
Katie, Paige, LuWayne and Leah were all so professional and wonderful. I cannot say enough about them! All of us girls loved our hair and make up. Everyone felt beautiful and still felt like themselves which in my opinion, is the sign of a great make up artist/hair stylist! I absolutely love how Leah did my bridal hair style. Allison and her team were amazing. I communicated with Allison while planning my wedding and she was very helpful and responsive. She sent 2 hair stylists and 2 makeup artists for me, 5 bridesmaids and 2 moms and they were all amazing! Kristin did my makeup and Kerri did my hair and they did such a great job, they really listed to what I wanted and I was so happy with the results. Allison and her team were recommended to me by another friend who got married in Newport, and I could not be happier we decided to work with them! Allison was extremely responsive, so easy to communicate with and worked with us every step of the way. We had to postpone our wedding due to covid and juggling all our vendors was not easy. Allison made the process seamless and was so accommodating throughout the process. Day-of her team were all so nice and my bridesmaids and I were so happy with the way everything turned out. I was lucky enough to work with Allison personally for my wedding day makeup and it was perfect! We were all so happy with the hair and makeup services! A couple of my girls said that it was the best makeup and hair they have ever had, especially for a wedding. Everyone was extremely happy with the services! The team themselves were wonderful, they were so friendly and made the getting ready so fun! They were able to do any hairstyle or makeup look that my bridesmaids wanted!
We had to move our wedding due to Covid and Allison was so helpful and wonderful throughout the whole process, and took the stress off of me with all the moving parts. Wonderful to work with!
I have already referred AB Beauty along to a couple other friends that are getting married in Newport!

I found Allison Barbera online and chose them based on glowing reviews, and I'm so glad I did! They made every step of the process easy and were very responsive to all my emails. I did a bridal hair and makeup trial which were both wonderful. When I did the makeup trial, I had feedback on the color of foundation they used, and she made sure to note it. On the day of the wedding, my makeup was PERFECT. I was also impressed with all my bridesmaids hair and makeup, and they all loved how they looked as well!

AB Beauty is the best!!!
I had booked AB Beauty, originally for our 2020 wedding which was postponed to May 2021. Katie (makeup), Kerri (hair), and the team were so amazing!!! I am usually very picky with both my makeup and hair - Katie and Kerri both were excellent and the end result was exactly what I wanted - glam/beautiful but still looked like ME and they made my features shine through! :) I had a bridal party of 8 other girls, including my mom/MIL - everyone was very happy with their hair/makeup. Allison is also SUPER organized and responsive. With a larger bridal party, and an early day-time wedding, she suggested we use a schedule with multiple hair/make-up artists which was very helpful, kept the day on-track and made things much less stressful for me. Also, with being forced to move our wedding multiple times throughout 2020 due to COVID, Allison could not have been more professional, communicative, and flexible throughout the process. Thank you Allison, Katie, Kerri and the AB Team!!! Would HIGHLY recommend.

Allison is not only talented at doing makeup, but she also really knows the science behind skincare and makeup. She had great suggestions for beauty routines and how to prepare for the big day.
I wanted a very natural makeup look, but elevated from my everyday look. She totally understood what I wanted and put me at ease. I didn't have to worry about anything on my wedding day.
The products she used lasted all day. Plus she gave me oil blotting sheets that I used throughout the day. She also uses individual lashes instead of the strip, so it looked very natural. My bridesmaids all looked so beautiful, as well.
Plus, she's really nice and easy to talk to!
I can't recommend Allison and her team enough.

Allison was so great to work with. She is unbelievably organized and detail oriented, and made it so easy for me to make sure we had a seamless experience. She thinks of every detail from scheduling to parking and makes sure that everything is taken care of well in advance of the big day. Her personality is so relaxed and pleasant to be around. I enjoyed my trial, where she asked questions and listened to feedback to make small adjustments so the make up look was perfect. The day of getting ready was relaxing and fun, and my make up lasted all night on the dance floor without any touch ups.
Allison & Hayden did make up and we’re both amazing.
Kerri did our hair (6 girls) and everyone looked awesome and was happy with results. We all felt beautiful!!

Allison was so professional and responsive to everything I asked of her and her team. There were a lot different factors that occurred between potentially changing our date to then deciding to go through. She was so helpful with all the questions we had and flexibility of all our concerns. Her team the day of were so professional and accommodating especially with all the Covid-19 protocols, between individual packed and labeled brushes to face masks on the entire time. I would highly recommend her and her team for any future brides and weddings big or small!
