We had an absolutely phenomenal experience with the Allied Music Solutions team in Puerto Rico.
Their team was professional, communicative, prompt, and incredibly easy to collaborate with from start to finish.
Timely communication and reliable execution are incredibly important in the destination wedding space, and Allied Music Solutions delivered seamlessly in every aspect. Their violinist brought such an elegant and meaningful touch to the ceremony experience, and everything was handled with professionalism, organization, and care throughout the planning process and wedding day itself.
We truly appreciated their responsiveness, smooth coordination, and the elevated atmosphere their live music created for both our couple and their guests at Iglesia San Jose in Downtown Old San Juan. We would absolutely recommend Allied Music Solutions to any couple planning a wedding or event in Puerto Rico and look forward to collaborating with their team again in the near future!

Me and My Husband are more than happy that we had allied music as our vendor for our special day. Juan was amazing and attentive to our music choices and the vision we had for the night. During ceremony we had the Cello and Violin Duet who played so beautifully during the ceremony. And for the reception we had the DJ who made the dance portion a lot of fun for us and our guests! Our 25th Anniversary fell on a Monday this year and Allied Music did not disappoint! The live music gave our guests a taste of Old San Juan during the cocktail hour. The DJ had us dancing all night long. The only time the floor was empty was when we were catching our breath. We danced every minute we could and had so much fun someone forgot their heels. Allied Music was nothing less than FANTASTIC. Great to work with during the planning stages of our wedding event. We had a solo violinist play for the first hour or so as we had cocktails and hors d'oeuvres up to the ceremony. After the ceremony during dinner we had a string trio that were so accommodating to the event. They played throughout the entire dinner. Both the soloist and the trio were fantastic as they played music we requested and also covered other genres of music we requested. The sound was exquisite and resonated at the perfect decibel level the entire evening. It was clear that Allied Music is proud of all they do and their attention to detail is second to none. Allied Music put together the greatest musicians in all of Puerto Rico who gave our guests (and us) the most incredible atmosphere and an unforgettable evening.
From our first meeting they were an absolute joy to work with - with the highest imaginable commitment to quality and the best connections you could ever ask for.
When the band started we were all completely blown away and the dancefloor was packed until the very last note - it gives me chills just thinking about it. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!!

We contracted the services of Allied Music Solutions for 3 different aspects of our wedding: a spanish guitar player for our welcome party, a string quartet and trumpet player for our wedding ceremony, and a cuatro player for our cocktail hour. The music during every part of our wedding celebration was absolutely gorgeous, and the guests told us that the music during the ceremony was so beautiful that they became emotional. This group was very easy to work with and very patient with us - we updated our playlist several times and they played nearly every song we put on there. Played is an understatement, they rocked the whole resort. My (now) wife and i have been to several wedding, seen many bands and they've all been fantastic. BUT, this band put them ALL to shame. Whether it was Footloose, RockyTop, Gasolina, Despicito, or Bruno Mars, they absolutely KILLED it. Not a soul left the dance floor any time they were jamming.
All of our guests were very impressed with not just the band's talent, but they were getting into the dancing with us! They kept the vibes incredible at all times and seems like they always knew what to play next to keep everyone engaged and cutting the rug. Sometimes the best vendors are the ones you don’t have to have many meetings or interactions with to get it right. We met with the team at Allied once for a video call and they understood our vision instantly. They even suggested which recessional/ceremony exit songs on the Spanish guitar and cuatro puertorriqueño would work best to transition to the pleneros we had escorting us from the ceremony to the reception at El Convento. They are absolute professionals and very talented musicians. We were so honored they could be part of our ceremony and set the tone for the rest of our special day. We used Allied Music Solutions for our wedding this past February and they were absolutely incredible!! We booked two different services, we booked a string duo (cuatro puertoriqueno and Spanish guitar) for the ceremony and cocktail hour and the 9 piece Extasis Band for the reception and both were fantastic. Extasis Band provided us with their song list and we picked a handful and they did a great job fitting the vibe with the rest of their song choices. They completely made our wedding by setting a fun vibe, everyone was out on the dance floor the entire time and we could not have asked for more. Their sound was great, they brought 3 vocalist and I requested a trumpet and sax player, everyone sounded wonderful. We also paid them an additional reasonable fee to play music off of a pre-constructed playlist by us for the dinner hour and between band sets, which was a really nice option to have. We worked with Allied Music for both our ceremony music and our cocktail hour music - and absolutely loved them! Juan Carlos in particular was amazing to work with. He was so responsive, attentive, professional, and helpful in all of his communications. On our big day, he himself even played an instrument! The looked amazing and played beautifully!
We requested some specific songs from their list of popular recommendations and they played them so so well.
We requested that they play 'Don’t Dream It’s Over' by Crowded House during the recessional. It wasn't on the pre-defined list. It was an important part for us and they performed it exactly how I imagined and wanted it, or actually even better.
I wish I could have thanked them in person on the day.

Dr. Vega and his colleagues were so easy to work with, responsive, courteous and understanding, just the whole package! It was so great having one less stress with planning. They were able to fulfill even our lost obscure musical piece requests and our guests could not say enough good about them. Juan Carlos even stopped by to greet my wife and I after our cocktail hour to congratulate us and make sure he met the mark on what we wanted. We had a great experience with AMS! I was very late in making my music selections for the ceremony and providing a list of songs for the reception - AMS nailed every moment with no issues, and kept the music going all night! Great experience!
I wanted a second line parade down Old San Juan for my wedding. I was in touch with a vendor but they cancelled last minute. I quickly got in contact with Allied Music go see if they could provide the service and within a day we had everything g figured out. It was more than perfect and such an authentic second line. What an incredible experience I had with Allied Music Solutions! I used them to provide a microphone/speaker for my rehearsal dinner, a steel drum band for my cocktail hour, and a DJ for my wedding reception. All three were absolutely incredible. My daughter had some very unique selections for the music for her wedding. I was skeptical that anyone would be able to accommodate her requests. Boy, was I wrong. Allied Music Solutions came thru with a very talented acoustic guitarist (Andres (sp?)) who played so beautifully. For the reception, the DJs were very professional and kept us dancing the entire evening. I really appreciate that Allied Music Solutions was able to meet all my daughter's requests with a "yes, we can" answer and they delivered. This is a very late review but we did not wanted to miss the opportunity to thank Juan Carlos and his team for the amazing service provided during our ceremony and cocktail hour. We selected the 4PR Typical Strings Trio and it was the perfect complement for our wedding. Our guests enjoyed the experience a lot. Having Juan Carlos and his Allied Music team as our musicians for the weekend was fate. Juan Carlos had been studying and playing my wife's grandfather's musical compositions for years and when we connected via Zoom, Juan Carlos surprised my wife by pulling out his piano and started playing the song that my wife and her dad had already decided to dance to for the father/daughter dance. For the mother/son dance, I requested that my dad play a song on the saxophone, and Juan Carlos had his band prepare an arrangement for my dad to play along with the band. My dad still talks about that experience and brought him back to his playing days in the 60s/70s. Juan Carlos made it a magical weekend and we couldn't have asked for more as he soundtracked our wedding weekend.Allied Music Solutions's reply:

We booked the strings duo (spanish guitar and violin) for ceremony and cocktail hour. They were wonderful. We requested they learned a song for our walk in and it was perfectly executed. They gave such a nice ambiance to the cocktail hour.
We then had the Extasis band (5 piece) play the reception. They are SO MUCH FUN. We had a mix of top pop hits and reggaeton and we danced all night. They had great energy and could really read the crowd. Communication leading up to the event with Juan Carlos was spectacular. Highly recommend!Allied Music Solutions's reply:

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Juan Carlos Vega and the entire Allied Music Solutions team!
Planning a destination wedding can be very stressful, but using Allied Music took away all of the stress I had about music for our wedding. Allied Music Solutions offers a variety of options, including DJs, the INCREDIBLE Extasis Band, Pleneros, horns, strings…if you want it for your wedding, Allied Music will get it for you at the highest quality! Dr. Vega is very responsive and easy to work with, and even with having to postpone our wedding due to COVID, he was always there for us, making sure we knew he was going to provide us with the best experience possible.
And he did! We used Allied Music for entertainment for our entire day- DJ, band, pleneros, traditional strings for the cocktail hour, and Dr. Vega himself at payed the keyboard for our ceremony. All of the entertainers were punctual, professional, and of the highest quality. My family is NOT easily impressed, and they agreed that all of the entertainment was top notch, and that Extasis was the best wedding band they’d ever heard.
Long story short- if you want incredible music, top notch service, and a stress-free entertainment experience, you need to hire Allied Music Solutions.Allied Music Solutions's reply:

We worked with Juan on our special day, and he and his team did not disappoint. We hired a steel drum duo for our rehearsal dinner, which was a huge hit! For the big day, we had a harp and violin duo for the ceremony and a DJ for the party. The musicians added a magical quality to the day, and the DJ had everybody up and dancing all night. Literally, everyone danced until the party was over! Juan is great to work with. He takes all of your ideas and requests into account and is flexible in finding the perfect combination to make your wedding unforgettable. Juan himself came to each event to make sure that everything was to our liking, and we were even able to work with him on the lighting for our events. 10/10 service. Juan Carlos was incredibly helpful during our planning process! Very quick to respond and helpful. We had a guitarist during our ceremony and a DJ during dinner and dancing. Man they both delivered! I gave both songs I wanted to be played and they both did exactly that. They both supplied the sound system they needed. The guitarist was very talented, it made the whole ceremony perfectly romantic. The DJ was great too, he mixed the music well and did a good job reading what the crowd wanted. I cannot say enough about how happy we were with Allied Music/Juan’s services. They were a pleasure to work with from start to finish – they were responsive and communicative and helped us immensely in selecting the music we wanted for the ceremony (we had no idea). They played everything seamlessly with virtually no rehearsal. Unfortunately we were only able enjoy the cocktail reception from afar (too many pictures). But we received nothing but glowing reviews from all of our guests. They said vibe was absolutely perfect. We are so so happy we booked them.
