My husband and I were so glad to have chosen Allen Hill Farm for our wedding venue. Everything in the process was perfect. I was always thinking of things to ask Aimee or days to bring vendors to the barn and she always responded and opened the barn right up. She was very accommodating and even let us take our engagement photos there. The grounds are incredibly, it truly is a 360 degree view no matter what way you look. We were supposed to have rain on our wedding day and Aimee called me to calm my nerves and provided all solutions they have for rainy days such as using the 3rd floor of the barn for photos. When we arrived she even cleared out the middle passage way for an additional photo spot. It ended up clearing up so we were still able to have a fire, but she assured me that if it was raining she’d refund the deposit for the fire. The barn itself is truly immaculate. I was sad about the possibility of rain because the grounds are so gorgeous, but I was okay knowing that the barn itself was stunning and there would still be great photos. The barn also has heating and cooling which eased my nerves because with the rain was supposed to be some cool weather so Aimee mentioned they’d turn the heat on early so guests would be comfortable. There was so much room for our guests to have all their tables and a full dance floor. We even had space for a photobooth. The bathrooms are also modern and there are two male and two female which is a big plus since a lot of barn venues have outdated bathrooms and only one stall. It was truly an amazing experience, and we would keep choosing Allen Hill if we were to do this again. We promise you will not regret it!

Allen Hill was the first and only location we visited for our wedding. I remember coming home from our visit and saying to Matt: "that's where I want to get married." That day, we sent Aimee an email and booked the venue for our big day!

We absolutely loved having our wedding there. There is just something so special about the barn, the orchard, the gigantic rock, and the little baby Christmas trees. The vibe was perfect and our "I do bbq" wedding was amazing and exactly what we pictured!

We got our Christmas tree there last year, and now we have a tradition!

Aboslutely gorgeous scenery and Aimee was super helpful when scheduling walk-through and unplanned visits. Highly recommended for anyone on a budget. Best part was our ability to find catering via recommendations from Allen Hill staff

Aimee was absolutely amazing. From start to end she was there to answer any questions I had. When I had the wrong payment date for final payment, she was so understanding and helped calm my nerves of the chance of losing Allen Hill and having no where to get married. The week of the wedding Aimee was available to walk through the property one last time with my event planner and myself to help pick out photo locations and finalize the flow of the wedding. The view needs no words, it is absolutely gorgeous and a perfect place to get married if you are looking for a barn wedding. If the weather is nice, there was also a fire pit for guests to enjoy once the sun goes down and a lawn area for lawn games.

Allen Hill was exactly what we were looking for! It is the perfect barn and outdoor setting for a country wedding. We used the fire pit at night and were concerned everyone would be outside but that wasn’t the case! The fire pit was a nice touch to the venue! Aimee was the easiest and best to work with! She responds timely to email! The rock too is the perfect background for your ceremony! Where ever you decide to take pictures they will all be beautiful! Allen Hill is perfect!

Allen Hill Farm is such an amazing venue! It was one of the only affordable ones I could find in the CT area. Aimee was so flexible and easy to work with. She let us set up the day before our wedding which made everything so much easier! The outside and inside are both amazingly beautiful. My guests couldn't believe how beautiful everything was! You will have to find all your own vendors, however Aimee does provide a great list of ones she recommends. I 100% recommend to pick this venue!

This farm made all my wedding dreams come true! They provide tables and chairs, the fabulous bulb string lighting, limited benches for the ceremony and SO MUCH MORE! Aimee was a dream to work with. There was a casual no pressure enviornment on our walk thru, and every time I needed something from her through out the planning process, she was right there. We had some bad weather the day leading up to and the morning of the wedding, but the people at the farm worked hard to make sure that the place looked its best for guest arrival.

The bridal suite was perfect! They set up chairs and couches and we were able to hide in there when ever we wanted. I had a huge bridal party (9 maids, 3 jrs, ) and had 2 of my performance friends who also got ready in there and we never felt crowded.

I can't say enough about how kind and helpful everyone was, how beautiful the venue is, and how perfect our night was. I can't imagine a better place to get married.

Allen Hill was the absolute perfect venue for our mid-July wedding! Upon meeting Aimee and touring the barn/property, we were convinced that nothing could top it. The setting is truly spectacular, and the views across the trees into the valley are everything we could have asked for. The open grassy area was perfect for our outdoor ceremony and the rock (the rock!!!) was such a dream backdrop. The barn provided the perfect setting for our big family reception. We loved utilizing the loft for our friends and keeping our older family and relatives on the ground floor. Our DJ loved the lofted DJ booth as well! The ability to use the fire pit was such a fun added piece of the venue that really sealed the deal for me. Aimee was so helpful throughout the entire process and gave us a lot of freedom to use the property (respectfully!) as needed.

Everyone had a the best time at our wedding with the ceremony and reception at Allen Hill Tree Farm! Not only is the view amazing, but the barn is gorgeous, spacious, and flexible for however you want it set up! The owners are amazingly sweet, nice, and extremely helpful. Bathrooms with running water and tables and chairs were all included too. The Bridal suite was a bonus for all the brides out there. If you're looking for a good spot for an outdoor or barn wedding, look no further!

Allen Hill was definitely everything we could have wanted for our wedding. Aimee was extremely helpful during the whole process. The grounds were immaculate for our day. A great bonus is the flexibility of being able to arrive at the venue early the day of. It's a DIY wedding venue; our vendors had previously worked for weddings at Allen Hill, and everything went smoothly. They were flexible on storage before and after (definitely helpful). It's worth every penny. We absolutely recommend this venue for your big day!

This venue is absolutely beautiful! The rolling hills that surround the beautiful farm just add to it. The barn is perfect with white lights lining the ceiling. Amy was amazing to work with.

Allen Hill Farm has been amazing! Quick response, held the date we wanted for a week wo a deposit so we could think about it, flexible w catering vendors, and event time set up/break down.

Most beautiful barn location for a wedding in CT!

The place was phenomenal. A little pricy (coming from the view of a college student) but absolutely wonderful. We had the property to ourselves, there were many things already at the farm that we were able to use as decorations. Having our wedding at this farm made my dream wedding come true. The property is large, its absolutely beautiful and with was less than 30 minutes from my house. This farm was a last chance find, I was sure we wouldn't find a farm we could afford and that fit our style. The owner Aimee is absolutely wonderful and was very helpful in the whole process. She even started helping to clean up at one point during the reception! If you're looking for a barn wedding in a beautiful setting, Allen Hill Farm is where you want to go!

Magic...is how we describe having our wedding at Allen Hill Farm. Stunning! This is what all of our guests continue to tell us about this gorgeous property. Our friends and family kept asking us why we chose a venue in CT (an hour from us and most of our guests) and we simply told them, wait until you see it. Selecting this venue was the best decision we ever made! Our dream wedding came true, rustic but elegant shabby chic, with yard games during cocktail hour, outdoor ceremony and barn reception at one location, and the most beautiful backdrop for photos. This place has it all! Working with Aimee and Charlie was a pleasure, always flexible and there to answer any questions we had along the way. We spent months looking for a venue like this and kept finding that they were out of our budget. But Allen Hill was affordable for us especially because it included the tables and chairs (which are new by the way), and there are actual bathrooms (other barns need you to rent porta potties), and we did not need to rent a tent for anything. They are very flexible on decorations and have great vendor recommendations. We mostly used the vendors that they recommended because they have all worked together for years and work great as a team. We lucked out with great weather, although it being August it did get warm and the barn does not have AC (yet..?). However, they do have a portable AC unit in the bridal prep room. We did not rent commercial fans for the barn and it was okay for everyone (or so I heard), but I struggled a bit with the warmth when dancing/wearing a huge dress! It's a good thing I had paper hand fans! Back to the property itself, it is gorgeous. We took the majority of our photos in the apple orchard as well as amongst the trees and wildflowers. The sunset photos are amazing. And we even had a surprise fireworks display from a nearby festival! Tip: Placing the sweetheart table in front of the barn doors with the apple orchard background is perfection.

Absolutely amazing! If I had to sum up the experience we had working with Charlie, Aimee, and the rest of the Langevin family those are the two words I would choose. Choosing Allen Hill Farm as our reception venue was the best decision we could have made. The venue is breathtaking and the amentities are plentiful. I love the rustic New England feel of the barn while also the views of the Christmas trees and apple trees right outside the doors. The staff was great to work with, incredibly accommodating, and exceeded all of our expectations. If you are looking for a beautiful and rustic venue for your New England wedding, look no further than Allen Hill Farm.

We knew as soon as Aimee opened the barn doors that Allen Hill was our venue. Every single guest we had at our wedding was in awe of the views and beauty of the barn itself. The venue could not have been more perfect. It was exactly the vibe we were after and though it was an hour from where we live, it was well-worth the trips we took out to Eastern CT to call it our wedding venue! Aimee was a delight and always happy to offer insight on how pervious couple’s set things up or utilized the various spaces on-site. We loved having use of the on-site wedding party suite as well. We got out hair and makeup done off-site but changed int our dresses, hung out, and took breaks throughout the day and evening as needed in the suite (which is connected to the barn).

Allen Hill Farm was an excellent venue for our wedding. Beautiful setting and breathtaking views of the Quinebaug valley- nothing but the highest compliments from our guests! Staff was very flexible and accommodating as well, great experience!

I loved this venue when we booked it, it had the orchard and trees and beautiful red barn, very fitting for our rustic wedding. It was a bit pricey especially because nothing is included, but it was the best option for the location I had to work with. I know several people who have used this venue and have had no problems however, I did. Aimee was very accommodating and all was going great but during our rehearsal it been raining all day so instead of standing out in the rain we stood in the barn to gather everyone together and then begin practicing outdoors, but the people decorating for the wedding the next day gave us lots of attitude "are you going to stand in here all night or what?", and "we just swept the floors, lets try not to get them dirty now". It was the mother of someone who helps run the venue, how rude. I thought all was great again until the day of- couples had been walking the property taking engagement photos(apparently they called and asked if they were allowed to, they told the couples no, but they still came anyways). But then, during my set-up time they choose to bring in a couple to do a walk-thru for a possible booking. They're already making bank on us and here they are still trying to make more money during the process, during our time. Aimee walked the couple around everywhere; especially through the barn where I was setting up and the couple was taking photos of EVERYTHING I had done. My décor, my tables, ceremony site, everything. Totally trying to copy it for theirs. And it was all gorgeous, but these are details that my family nor my own husband-to-be had even seen yet. I got very upset and my mom spoke with Aimee. She didn't understand why I was upset and "no other brides had ever had a problem" Well maybe if you asked me in the first place I might have had a different answer, but you surprisingly showed up with a couple. You could tell the couple felt uncomfortable and It was just rude. It should be about that one couple that day.
