Excellent!

We hired Allan to photograph our daughter’s sweet 16. He did amazing job! We loved all the photos. He captured memories that will last a lifetime. Highly recommend!

Wedding ceremony photos

We want to thank Allan for his amazing job. We enjoyed working with him. Our ceremony was very small, but with Allan help we’ll remember it forever. Colors and angles on the photos are astonishing!

Wedding Photography/Videography

We got married early September 2023 and Allan Reider Studios was the best decision for photography and videography! Allan and his team made everyone feel at ease and had us and our guests laughing all night. They took beautiful pictures, and Allan is very knowledgeable about his work. It was easy to tell this is his passion and many guests commented how great and memorable he was! The open air Photo Booth was also a big hit. We are beyond happy we trusted Allan and his team to capture our special day!

So pleased with my photos!

Allan Reider is knowledgeable, creative, flexible and has an excellent eye for editing and crafting the finished product. He was prepared with the proper equipment, prompt and also fun to work with when he took the photos for my headshots. 5/5 stars!

Would highly recommend!

Allan is an amazing photographer. He is professional, humorous and always willing to work with the client. He has flexible hours including weekends. Would definitely recommend him as a photographer for any party/event.

The best!!

Oh, you can not go wrong with Allan!! He’s not only absolutely amazing in his photography, he makes it a fun experience!! I was referred to him by my cousin and friend, both who had used him for their weddings and I would recommend him as many times as I could! He captured my dream wedding and was very easy to work with - especially since we had to reschedule the wedding 4 times (Thank you Covid!)!! I just can’t say enough about Allan and his staff and their work!! Thank you!!!

Amazing, wonderful person we recommend Allan, he is the best.

Allan was very wonderful to everyone, hes work is amazing, my husband and i are very grateful we found allan for our wedding event, can't wait to see the rest of my wedding pictures.

Very professional and great to work with

Allan was amazing!! The pictures he took of our event were absolutely beautiful; the settings he chose, the poses, the lighting - everything was perfect. He is very professional, he clearly knows what he is doing, but is also a lot of fun to work with. I would highly recommend him!!

Front steps project

We had the honor of working with Allan for the front step project in Union. This is a non paid job and he was so amazing and patient that I will be hiring him for future events. Fyi...he is great with kids and has you laughing throughout the photoshoot.

Outstanding experience

Worked with Allan Reider on a video and picture montage. He was creative, innovative and a pleasure to work with. Family loves what he did to bring our family memories to life for an event. Knows exactly what to do to engage people and provide a stress free happy experience. We’ll be back to work with him. His office is filled with photos of weddings, sweet sixteen’s and corporate events. Each of them reflect depth, feeling and the personality of the people photographed. He’s a treasure! The perfect photographer

Allan was absolutely fantastic! We were so lucky to find him for our wedding pictures. Allan was extremely flexible and helpful; he even shared great wedding ideas and tips! The photos turned out stunning and we are so grateful for all his time and effort. Allan is everything we had hoped for in a photographer, and more. Fantastic experience

Allan made my wedding day the best day of my life allan and hes team were always there making us laugh and my photos came out like somthing you would see on a magazine best photographer I've ever hired very talented at what he does I just pick my album up I'm so happy with it the pictures are top class quality that I'll have forever would highly recommend them you only get one chance at picking your photographer for your wedding day but if you choose allan you'll have amazing photos and you wont be disappointed

We had little time to prepare our wedding, and were very fortunate to be referred to Allan. He worked quickly and efficiently and provided us with an excellent product! Allan is a compassionate, funny and intuitive photographer who takes amazing photos. He is an expert at reading people and getting them to relax, especially in the sometimes, stressful setting of a wedding. Allan cares about his craft, and he cares about people, and with this combination, he captured a number of beautiful moments on our wedding day. We whole-heartedly recommend Allan Reider Studio!

Allan Reider Photographer was our photography and videography team for our wedding at the Manor in West Orange in June of 2015. He came recommended to us by the Manor and he comes to you highly recommended by my wife and I. Allan is incredibly knowledgeable about photography, is professional with a jovial personality, and is flexible, honest, and sincere as a photographer and businessman.

We met with other photographers, but chose Allan because of his portfolio. At the end of the day, other than our faulty human memory, photographs and videos are the only things that document the ceremony (other than the wedding document, of course) and the party. Allan and his crew produced for us an amazing album with metalicized paper bound in Italy. It is stunning and jaw dropping. The raw video captured was approximately 4 hours of video. Allan's portfolio is not only his best work, it's his standard work.

Allan was always prompt with his communication, either by voice, text, or email. He was completely flexible, and I recommend you ask him about any questions, doubts, or exceptionalities you'd like to have been met. We have met our family photographer for life in Allan Reider. His work is no joke and he makes your wedding day (or other events) as convenient and comfortable as possible. His work is exceptional. He also gave us a red carpet Photo Booth. Ask about it.

Allan was highly recommended to us by a friend, and we were so happy she did. When checking his website we loved his creative style of photography and were even more impressed with his work when we met in person. He is very friendly and a skilled professional. We spoke with him on numerous occasions and he was extremely insightful and helpful for all aspects of our wedding. He is a real character and his personality was exactly what we needed to keep us at ease. He was also very good at making all our family members smile. It was lots of fun working with Allan and his staff (Bob – 2nd photographer and Jerry – videographer) and we can’t wait to see the end results.

Mr. Reider was amazing in dealing with me. Itwas love at first sight. So friendly and funny, Very personable and professional. Our photograher was amzaing, Gina and Bob were awesome. they stayed overtime to make sure they captured every moment. You will not regret. Allan is so funny and awesome.

Allan Reider Studio did my wedding photo's THey were AMAZING. SO creative, great shots. They captured every important moment of our day. and even some moments that were unexpected. Although in the mid range of the pricing that we looked at, it was worth the money well spent.

I loved many of the pictures I got ack from my wedding. Some pictures were not taken that I would have liked, so communication is key. That was my fault for not articulating the shots that were important. Overall I was happy with the result.

Allan and his team were great! He followed up a bunch of times before the wedding and made the day of a dream come true. We had great weather in February so we actually got to shoot outside that day! He is an extremely funny guy who can make anyone laugh and that's the type of people we are. He made everyone feel great and comfortable on our day and having everyone laugh in between takes really helped the time during pictures go by quicker! It was great working with him and already the next day we had about 20 pictures to look at that he edited. I would highly recommend working with him to others especially if they like to laugh and not have the day be so proper and traditional!

Not worth it. I almost always had to leave multiple voice mails before hearing back from Allan, and he rarely called me back when he said he would. He is funny...if you don't mind hearing the same 10 rude and inappropriate jokes over and over all day. He outright insulted several of my relatives with his "jokes." He was condescending and rude half the day, and disinterested for the rest of it. He ignored my list of requested photographs, and wasted a lot of time standing around on his phone and making his ridiculous jokes. One of the members of my bridal party ended up directing everyone on how to pose for photos and telling him when we were ready for him to take a picture, because he wasn't doing it. And when he did direct people himself, he used noises and hand motions, not words. We kept having to ask him what he meant, and ask him to use words not noises, but he ignored those requests. He also spent most of our reception hanging out in another room and could never be found when we looked for him. Thank god we had paid for a second photographer, at least he was around. In the end we got some good pictures (after hounding him for months and catching him in multiple lies about why they weren't done yet) but the number of pictures I would have liked that we DON'T have is a lot longer than the number of pictures I like that we DO have. A lot of the pictures are also taken at weird angles, or will need a lot of photoshopping to fix the lighting and cover up things that could have been left out of the picture if Allan had spent just a few seconds paying attention to how he was framing the photographs. (Some problems being obvious spot lights and garbage cans in outdoor shots, piles of belongings and elevators featured in the background of indoor shots.) I knew that I would have to pay attention to to what the photographer was doing to a certain extent, if I wanted certain things, but I didn't expect to have to have a friend literally tell him what to do.

Very difficult and disinterested. Almost everyone found him incredibly annoying to deal with. Pictures are ok, but not that great. Often very hard to contact as well. Seemed great at our first meeting, but one of the things everyone remembers the most about our wedding seems to be "the bonkers photographer", and refers to him as the thing that went wrong, since everyone has to have one thing go wrong at their wedding.
