  Allan was great and very professional at our wedding. He wasn't an intrusive--all up in your face--photographer, and he still got some amazing shots. In fact, we ended up with almost 600 pictures; some of which we had no idea he even took. He really has an eye for capturing personality in photographs. We had a variety of images: some showing how much we laughed with our friends throughout the day, and others that were truly artistic and showed how much we love each other. I recommend him to all of my newly engaged friends!

  Allan was so awesome to work with. He did our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos. Both of those days he was so much fun to work with. Very professional & personable. He truly captured our personalities on film & I am absolutely ecstatic with the results of his work!! It is so hard to choose a favorite because all of them turned out so wonderful! I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for fresh, beautiful, & memorable pictures!!

  Allan blew us away with his professionalism, beautiful picture and his personality

  Wonderful experience booking Allan Millora Photography for our June Newport Wedding, I found him based on reviews since we are from out of town and we weren’t disappointed, he and his assistant were professional, reasonably priced and the pictures were beautiful, he put us at ease since (I am personally nervous in front of a camera).
  Wonderful experience! And a bonus we got the wedding photos back very quickly!

  We really appreciated the flexibility and responsiveness of Allan. Michael reached out to Allan at the last minute by email and he was able to work us into his schedule. Allan was easy to work with, understood our needs and wants and accommidated all our requests. He was very professional and we are extremely pleased with the photographs. I enthusiastically recommend him for your wedding photography needs.

  He was so wonderful to work with, I tried three photographer for our engagement shoots and by far he had the best photos and I felt the most comfortable with him. He is so nice and his work stands for itself. I have recommended him to some of my new engaged friends, and they love him too!

  Amazing wedding photographer

  Allan was my photographer for my wedding and did our engagement pictures as well. My husband and I hate being the center of attention but he made us feel so at ease. I can't say enough about how impressed we were by how the pictures came out. He made us look our absolute best and even added creative flairs. I highly recommend him!

  We first met Allan about 9 months before our wedding day at a local bridal/wedding show in Rhode Island. After we introduced ourselves, Allan took the time to share his portfolio and learn more about us and what we were looking for during our wedding day. We left that show with a really good feeling about having Allan photograph our June 2013 wedding in Westerly, RI.
  
  Several months later, once we set our wedding date, we had our first real sitdown with Allan. He was extremely accommodative by offering to meet us in our hometown that was some distance away. We were able to review much more of his portfolio and what we liked about his approach was his professionalism and his interest in hearing about how we wanted to shoot the wedding day. He balanced this with his experience and was able to map out some ideas of his own as well. He talked about how before any wedding day, he visits locations in advance to become familiar with them.
  
  On the day of the wedding, Allan arrived ahead of time ready to go with the bride/bridemaids at the salon. We also had a 2nd photographer that separately followed the groom in the morning who was also easy to work with and arrived on time. Having not met the 2nd photographer ahead of time, we feel that Allan made a very good choice.
  
  From the ceremony through the post-wedding bridal party photos Allan and the 2nd photographer worked together extremely well to keep everyone organized and getting the photos in that we were looking for. Allan was able to incorporate a number of shots based on artistic pins we made on Pinterest too which was great!
  
  The formal photos were fun and felt unstaged/unrehearsed which is what we wanted. He was able to incorporate the natural settings in the background well into the photos. Later, with family photos, we were able to move through them with ease as everyone was having a good time!
  
  Overall, we would definitely work with Allan again (maybe future family portraits?!).

  My daughter just had her wedding in September. We had interviewed several photographers, but she was on a tight budget, so she hadn't settled for anyone. We met Allan Millora at one of the bridal shows at the mansions. He was personable and more importantly, he had packages that worked within her budget. He and his assistant were wonderful at the wedding. We never felt that they were intruding. They took the formal pictures early on and then the rest of the evening were just candid shots. Allan just delivered the pictures to my daughter and I have to say, that all 1100+ pictures are beautiful!!! Well done Allan! We highly recommend him!

  Allan has been a friend of ours for years. We knew there was no one else who could document the moments on such a special day better than he could. Both our engagement shoot and wedding were done on beaches, and he was able to portray the natural beauty of both venues so well. We could not be happier with the way both sets of photos turned out! He and his second photographer were incredibly professional while capturing such intimate, special moments. Allan made sure that he showcased the many emotions of the day from silly and playful to poignant and sentimental. He was also amazing at including so many of our guests in the photos as well! We recommend Allan to all our friends and family as he did such a wonderful job at making our day look and feel like a dream come true! We will definitely continue to utilize Allan’s services on future special occasions!

  12/7/19 wedding

  Allan is an awesome photographer! We used him for our 12/7/19 wedding and we could not be happier with our choice. He was so easy to work with through the whole process from engagement photos up to the actual day. The day of the wedding both he and his second photographer were organized, professional, and fun to work with. The photos came out beautifully and he truly captured all the emotion that went into the day. If you choose Allan as your photographer you will not be disappointed!

  We have loved Allan from the moment we met him. Not only is his photography beautiful and breathtaking, but his temperament is exactly what we were looking for in a photographer. He's so calm, not easily rattled, yet professional, composed and very much in control. The day of the wedding, he caught me having a little melt-down over one of the vendors running late, he even offered to help. I couldn't believe how nice and accommodating he was. Then in the Bridal room is was utter chaos, yet again, he was completely calm and very politely asked if we could all be ready in 20 minutes. We were ( I think). Another thing that I loved about Allan, is that he brings with him a second shooter, which I think is so important to insure that you are getting different vantage points of everything. At the ceremony and the reception, they completely blended in. You knew they were taking pictures, but yet you didn't... they were never in the way like some photographers are. They were also dressed very nice as any professional would/should be when attending a black tie event. (Another reason why they blended in). LOVE, LOVE, LOVED THEM! Can't wait to see the photos soon.

  We had a great experience planning out day with Allan, he is very professional and was open to all our ideas. Mark was the photographer on our wedding day and he was loved by everyone at the wedding. He was professional but not pushy and the photos came out beautifully. He was very respectful and very easy to talk with. Thank you!

  Allan is the best choice!

  We cannot say enough good things about Allan and his team! We chose to work with Allan based on a recommendation from my sister, not only did we enjoy his work, but getting to know him and love for his craft was great! Allan took us all around providence for our engagement shoot, and picked some amazing spot, and the photos were ready within days! Cannot ask for more. On the week of our wedding, we were supposed to have a hurricane come through day of our ceremony. Getting married on a boat on the water, this was not ideal. Of all my vendors, Allan was the only vendor who didn’t contact me in a panic the day before our wedding, I truly appreciate his attitude, professionalism, and work ethic. On the day of our wedding allan and his team came promptly and prepared. He took gorgeous photos that we can cherish forever, not to mention the turnaround time was super fast! If you’re on the fence with a photographer for any meaningful moment, don’t hesitate to book with Allan Millora, you will not regret it! Cannot wait to work with him again in the future!

  Allan was WONDERFUL! Enthusiastic without being overbearing, prompt, kind, flexible - he was a bride's dream! I was not that into posed pictures, but Allan took some that came out just beautifully. He did our engagement session in NYC on the hottest day of the year, and my husband was sweating and cussing up a storm, while Allan kept smiling and encouraging us. And then he threw in an extra engagement session just for fun!
  
  Our wedding day was gorgeous, Allan was enthusiastic and brought along a second photographer so that nothing would be missed. And he managed to get a picture of every single guest! Use him!

  We knew Allan was a perfect fit for our 20 yr vow renewal ceremony from our first conversation. He is professional, personable and his talent is evident through his amazing photos. Our day was awesome but the weather wasn’t. A storm was approaching us during our outdoor photo hour. Allan was great. He made sure we captured our special moments with our family and friends. I remember him pulling out an umbrella and continued to take pics as it started to rain. We had some laughs too! We were excited to see the finished photo gallery and we were NOT disappointed. Every picture is stunning! We love them. We will definitely be calling Allan again in the future. Thank you again Allan for capturing our special day in a beautiful way!

  We loved Allan from the minute we met him. We picked him based on his work that we had seen and the fact that he had shot another wedding at our venue, the Newport Yachting Center, which was breathtaking. We met him and loved his attitude, confidence, professionalism, and love for photography. He was so much fun to work with and always made us smile. He and his assistant Nate were the absolute best on our wedding day! They were so energetic yet professional and seemed to capture some amazing moments. They were so helpful throughout the day and the entire process as well, dealing with my many emails full of questions and questions on the day of.   We could not have asked for a better wedding photographer! Allan and his assistant were perfect in every way, and our photos are stunning. We felt comfortable with him from our first meeting - he has a calming effect on everyone. We can't believe how little we paid, and the prices for prints are so reasonable. Anyone who hires Allan will not be disappointed.

  I am the bride

  Allan was amazing! He traveled from a snow storm and still made it on time. He listened to everything we said and went above and beyond with pictures we didn’t even think of? Will use him again for everything! He was perfect!

  My first choice

  One of the easiest decisions I made when it came to our wedding was having Allan be our photographer. Allan did our engagement photos and our wedding photos. For our engagement photos he was so flexible with timing and location because he wanted to make sure we got the best pictures possible. He has a great way of making you feel at ease, helps with posing and has great attention to detail. We love our photos and we loved working with Allan and his team.

  Among the many qualities my husband and I were looking for in a photographer, one of the most important to us was finding a photographer who was not only experienced in wedding photography, but who had a personality we could gel with. From our first meeting with Allan, it was as if we had always known each other. Allan is first and foremost a professional with exceptional interpersonal skills. When we were describing our vision, it was as if he already knew what we wanted. Our engagement session with Allan gave us an opportunity to get to know both his photography style and his fun sense of humor. My husband is often shy in front of the camera, but Allan has a way of making everyone feel immediately comfortable and at ease. Our family and wedding guests were impressed with Allan's ability to remember everyone's names and to coordinate beautiful shots with many people effortlessly. While there were many photographers in the Newport area to choose from, I am glad that we found Allan and could't be happier with our engagement and wedding photos, and our wedding album. You're the best, Allan. Thank you for making our day that much more special, and for the beautiful memories we will now be able to relive and cherish.

  Comfortably wonderful

  I was happily impressed with how great Allan and his crew did for my wedding. Made us all feel relaxed and comfortable for all the picture taking! His crew went above and beyond to get in nice action shots during the ceremony and reception. They we very friendly and kind to all when it came time to get in the serious shots after the ceremony. I had just over 100 people and everyone was involved in the pictures thru out the day. Very pleased to have hired Allan! Simply, you wouldn’t regret choosing him!

  Very good.

  Allan knew how to help us pose for photos (or, not pose, as he does a lot of candid shots) and make sure everyone was comfortable. He was very easy-going about scheduling and delays, and very friendly the whole time. He stayed off to the edges and out of the way while still making sure he was getting photos of all of the important events! The photo quality was great.

  Fantastic!

  I hired Allan Millora of Allan Millora Photography as our amazing photographer for our wedding on October 6, 2018 in Newport, RI. He was quick to respond to my inquiry of availability and pricing and he was able to work within my budget. Allan’s amazing photography package included two photographers, one being himself and his awesome assistant, 7 hours of photography and an engagement session! The engagement and wedding photos came out phenomenal and within a timely manner. During our wedding and engagement sessions Allan was extremely knowledgeable about the locations of Newport as well as had creative ideas and locations for our wedding day. I’m extremely happy that I used Allan Millora as my photographer for my wedding and I would highly recommend him!
