Allan (and his wife Vicki) served as the photo team for our engagement session as well as our wedding day.

My wife and I could not be happier with the quality of work that Allen and Vicki were able to deliver for us. We felt that their prices were more than fair and that the quality of the photos delivered was excellent.

Vicki and Allen were a joy to work with during every step of the process. They were not pushy, listened to our vision, and were personable and friendly the entire time. They were extremely organized regarding pre-planning of what photos to take but also were responsive to the environment and any day of ideas.

We would work with them again without hesitation.

Engaging Photographers

Allan and Vicki are wonderful, and their photographs are amazing! A complimentary engagement shoot was included in our package, and they were very professional with timing and communication. Both were very engaging with all our guest and captured the true atmosphere of the wedding through candid shots as well as the posed portraits. Our photos were received very quickly after the wedding and Vicki worked with me to alter a photo; we wanted printed on canvas to be exactly what I wanted it to be, and I could not have been more pleased. They are highly professional, provide exceptional service and genuinely care about their clients.

Amazing and professional

Allan and his wife, Vicki are truly the dream team! My husband and I hired them as our photographers for our wedding back in 2020 and are so happy we did! 3 years later we are able to look back at our wedding photos and smile knowing that we made the right decision by choosing them. They are professional, attentive to detail and all around amazing! Everyone- our family, friends all felt comfortable with them. We highly recommend Allan and Vicki!

Book them ASAP!!

Vicki and Allan of Allan E Levine Photography were incredible! They were on the vendor list at our venue (Falkirk Estate and Country Club) and after checking out reviews and some of their work, I knew I wanted to meet with them. My husband and I connected with Vicki and Allan from the very beginning. Our photos were incredible and they made us feel so comfortable the entire time. That was really important to us! You can tell they really have a passion for their work and it definitely shows. Putting together the album was the hardest part because there are soooo many amazing shots! :) We had a large bridal party and lot of family shots but they got it all done without any issues. They are completely dedicated to their bride and groom and I give them credit for what a long day it was! Lol In addition to their awesome personalities, they are very professional and always responsive to emails, calls and any requests or suggestions. We had an incredible time at our wedding and I can genuinely thank Vicki and Allan from the bottom of our hearts for capturing those moments so we can look back on them for the rest of our lives :) Book them ASAP! You will love them!

I would highly recommend Allan and Vicki to capture all the special moments of your wedding day!! Both have been nothing but helpful and excited to work with my husband and I. Allan and Vicki = Perfect!

Vicki and Allan were our photographers for our wedding on September 14, 2018. They arrived exactly at the time they said they would and got right to taking pictures of my bridal party and I getting ready. They were so kind and so much fun!! I know that it must be hard to get so many people focused and looking at a camera for so long but they did such a great job. They were there every step of the way and got every shot we wanted. I have received my photographs and I could not be more happy with them. They captured every single moment. I am so happy that I can relive that perfect day over and over again through their work.

Wonderful experience!

Allan and Vicki were phenomenal from beginning to end! They made sure to check in with my husband and I throughout the months leading up to the wedding. I know just how busy the “wedding season” can get, so knowing that they still made time for us just to check in made all the difference and definitely put us at ease on the day of that our photos would turn out just the way we wanted. They were always professional and courteous. I really can’t say enough. Thank you both for such a wonderful job!

Allen E Levine photography was AMAZING from start to finish. My husband and I booked with JON VALLE who was absolutely INCREDIBLE! In fact, my twin brother and sister in law booked with Jon as well - we all loved him so much our entire family wanted him! Jon has such a calming relaxed presence that made each experience so nice. His personality was both funny and friendly / so easy going that it made taking pictures fun! Sometimes this experience can be awkward and filled with cheesy poses but all our pictures came out so natural. Jon had our photos ready for viewing in TWO WEEKS! I immediately cried when I saw them. These pictures look like they belong in magazines. Each of them captured our wedding day perfectly. I have not stopped receiving messages from family and friends asking for Jon's information. People are just blown away. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Vicki and Allen both helped with organization and set up for our schedule which was so helpful. Vicki was super friendly and it was nice to see them all take parts and work as a team. They are all such talented photographers but our recommendation is to ask for JON VALLE and Patty!!!!!!!!!!!!! loved them!!!!!!!!! Can't beat these prices either- the quality of work is incredible I still cannot believe it.

My husband and I found Vicki and Allan online while researching top rated photographers in the Poughkeepsie, NY area. We instantly fell in love with their work and really got a sense of their clients’ stories / personalities with the way they were captured. They were visually stimulating and emotionally captivating. Since we are artists ourselves, it was important that we find others that approached their work with passion and true artistry. We knew they were the ones for us immediately. From beginning to end these artists have a level of professionalism that is one to be rivaled. Vicki was an absolute pleasure to work with and collaborated a timeline and “plan Bs” such as alternative first look locations if it rained. She was easy to get a hold of and very responsive to both emails and phone calls. You can tell she not only cares about her level of professionalism and business but also her clients. She was genuine in every way. Both listened to our desires and they catered to our every need before / during the wedding day. Their strong and open consistent communication greatly helped us navigate through the planning process. The day of our wedding is where they truly exceeded our ever-growing expectations. Words can’t even describe how thrilled I am with my wedding pictures. Jon and Patti at Allan E. Levine did an amazing job capturing all the special moments from my wedding. My husband and I couldn’t be happier with the results. As much as we wanted to soak in every moment, our wedding day went by so quickly since we were having a blast. I really needed these photographs to remind me of all the amazing moments of the day. We literally spent hours going through each picture and reminiscing on everything that took place. My husband and I both had family and friends visiting from afar, and it pleases us highly that practically everyone at the wedding is captured in our pictures. Jon and Patti are so friendly and easy to work with and made everyone feel comfortable. Much to my surprise, I received a sneak peek and my official pictures only a few weeks after the wedding. I didn’t have to wait as long, which is great since our wedding was so recent. My family and friends are anxiously waiting to see our pictures as well. We cannot say enough about Vicki and Allan of Allan E Levine Photography. We met Vicki and Allan at a local bridal show and after a few minutes of speaking with them, we knew we wanted them to photograph our wedding. We did our engagement photos about a year before the wedding and Vicki and Allan were awesome to work with. It is amazing to watch their creative process unfold as they are taking the photos. I had numerous phone calls with Vicki and Allan in the weeks leading up to the wedding, they always made themselves available for random questions. Vicki helped me in structuring the itinerary for the wedding day which helped make the day virtually stress-free. Our bridal party also appreciated having that schedule ahead of time! When my originally scheduled hair and make-up artist gave me some trouble, Vicki quickly found a vendor whom she and Allan had worked with previously that was available on our date. I cannot explain how important this was to me. I never anticipated having no hair and make-up team scheduled six weeks before my wedding, and for Vicki to go outside the scope of our contract to help me find someone meant the world to me. I am so grateful! The wedding day went off without a hitch. My husband and I felt so at ease with Vicki and Allan as we were doing our portraits and it truly shows in the pictures. We are blown away by the preview shots we have received so far and cannot wait to see all of the photos! Thank you, Vicki and Allan, for perfectly capturing our day!

i just recently used jon from allen E levine photography. I changed photographers to them because of their professionalism and creativity! I was very impressed but the amount of time they will sit with you and answer any questions. They give your own flashdrive with edited the photos. During the wedding day jon utilized every moment of the day and kept us on schedule. Jon and patty were amazing photographers they really made my husband and i feel comfortable and they were very easy to work with and understanding! Allan and Vicki were amazing! They were so responsive and so flexible. Our wedding day was PACKED. We did a religious ceremony on a wedding stage at 11:30am, an outfit change, a small vow and ring exchange during cocktail hour, and a number of group photos during the wedding. To get everything in, they came to the hotel at 7:30am, we did a 9am first look followed by family/bridal party portraits in our Indian outfits up until I had to go in the bridal suite, and then they took time after the reception was over to do bride and groom portraits with us at 5pm. They brought an assistant, who was awesome, to help out with everything. We had 3 flower girls and a young groomsman (my nieces and nephew on my husband's side) who were under the age of 9. They got great images with all of them looking at the camera and smiling. They also go my (conservative, hard to please) parents in pictures smiling. We loved Vicki and Allan!! Thank you!

I absolutely loved working with Vicki and Allen! They are such wonderful people and you can tell they are passionate about what they do! At first my husband and I weren't sure we could afford to have them as our photographers but they kept reaching out and helped us meet our budget requirements! We wound up working with Jon and Patty. They were so great! Jon was so easy going and really paid attention to what we wanted. I am very shy and don't usually feel comfortable in front of a camera, but Jon made it so easy! They were always easy to get ahold of and responded right away! They really get to know you on a personal level and it really makes your day extra special! I would definitely recommend them for your special day!

Allan and Vicki are incredible photographers, and we could not imagine a more talented team. They are extremely personable, they know how to inject humor to get people to break into smiles, and they have the creative vision to produce artistry from any environment.

Beyond that, they are extremely professional, timely, fun to work with, and serious about capturing essential moments that you may have missed or forgotten about -- I was amazed by their sharp eye!

Allan and Vickie were beyond Amazing to work with. They are so much fun and so professional at the same time. My family and friends were very impressed by the whole set up and how great they worked with children and especially how effortless/painless the whole thing was. I knew that their pictures would be phenomenal based off of all the work I've seen, but I must say that working with them personally was even better then I could've ever imagined. Vickie made it so easy for me and was so organized that I felt like the photography portion of the wedding was one thing i did NOT have to stress about...and one less thing to stress about when planning a wedding is a blessing lol. Wow, what to say about Allan and Vicky?! My husband and I simply could not be happier! From day one they were just the easiest and most fun people to work with! A great team that just had so many great ideas! They were also very patient as we are not a fast moving group and started our pictures about an hour late... Oops! They were very diligent about getting all of the photos we wanted with our family and very gracious at the end of the night when a long line of friends wanted to hop into pictures! We had our ceremony and reception at the links at Unionvale and they knew all of the great places at the golf course to get great shots and we got them all in an amazingly timely manner! They were also great about getting us to relax and have fun with the pictures which was surprisingly difficult for us. For anyone that doesn't know the links is a great place for sunset photos and they perfectly timed it for is to get that gorgeous sunset shot! They are such a fun laid back team that work so well together and made sure we had so many pictures that we can look back on for years and remember what an amazing day we had. We are so glad to have chosen Allan and Vicky to photograph our day and we can't wait to see our albums!!

One of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding was choosing Allan and Vicki to shoot our wedding. They are a dynamic duo, and a great team who really know what they are doing. Included in our package was an engagement shoot which was a great opportunity to practice posing, different faces/angles, and the infamous dip! I'm so glad we were able to do that because it allowed my husband and I some time to practice and get used to taking pictures before our wedding day.
I emailed back and forth with Vicki quite a bit and she was always responsive, professional and honest. We had planned to do an 'out of the box' save the date with some of our engagement pictures, and Vicki created the layout for us and hooked us up with a printer she recommended who then made our idea a reality. She went out of her way and above and beyond to help with this. Before our wedding she went over all the details with us and we discussed exactly what pictures I did and didn't want. My husband and I both really wanted to make it to our cocktail hour and with Vicki's organization we got everything done with time to spare. We had a large bridal party and her and Allan kept everything moving smoothly and swiftly. They really know how to work a room! They also sent an additional photographer to take some photos of the groom and groomsmen getting ready- with no added charge. Within 3 days of our wedding while on our honeymoon we got an email with a "preview" of about 50 photos. They were amazing and I knew the rest would be just as great. When we got our final photos (close to 2000) we were so happy. They came out so great and offered color and black&white for each picture! Allan and Vicki captured our wedding day perfectly. We recently went up to their studio to pick out our album and ended up looking at photos and talking like old friends. They really are the best and I highly recommend them to anyone who is planning a wedding.

We were so fortunate to have found Allan E. Levine photography and John and Patti. Their preparation beforehand was detailed and focused on our preferences. On the day of the wedding, John and Patti were wonderful to work with, highly professional, creative and friendly. They blended in to the day, went with the flow, made fantastic suggestions and captured every wonderful moment more perfectly than I thought possible.

Initially I didn't think that we needed hours of photography, only a few ceremony and follow up family photos, and now am incredibly grateful that they made the recommendations they did. Every detail and nuance appeared in the photos, things I didn't see at the time. The photos are stunning and comprehensive. The follow up was perfect. John and Patti are amazing photographers and found everyone's best angle and perfect moment. Vicki and Allan are a pleasure to work with.

The crew at Allen E. Levine Photography was a great pleasure to work with. They were professional and friendly. Not to mention their photography is amazing! Another aspect of note is that upon our initial meeting they demonstrated great organization and planning for the events of our wedding. We walked away feeling like our photography was in excellent hands and we didn't have to worry at all. They had great direction on the day-of and were flexible with our ever-changing schedule. Our primary photographer was Jon Valle who also did our engagement shoot. He was outstanding to work with, made us feel at ease through the process, and his photography was phenomenal. He collaborated with Vicki Levine as our second photographer to create an astounding set of prints, a wonderful guest book, and memories that will truly last a lifetime. We are very happy with our choice to go with Allen E. Levine Photography! We highly recommend them.

Allan and Vicki are beyond talented photographers! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! They were such a pleasure to work with. They took the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen and not to mention there were literally thousands to choose from.They were easy to work with and all my questions were always answered right away. Choosing them as our photographers was the best decision we made for our wedding. I HIGHLY recommend them! Thank you Allan and Vicki for making our wedding extra special!!

Allan and Vicki were both extremely friendly and professional during the planning process, engagement session and wedding day. Their photography provided us with the ability to capture our memories in a classic manner without forgoing the candidness of the day. We chose them as our photographers in no small part due to the way they captured both indoor and outdoor lighting. When comparing their work with competitors, this ability stood out among the rest. They were extremely patient and responsive to our morning wedding's tight schedule by completing additional portraits following the reception. What is particularly wonderful is that Vicki has continued to be available for questions and requests long past our wedding day.

Allan and Vicky were fantastic. Their prices were so reasonable, and they were so responsive to everything we asked for. They were extremely professional and were not intrusive at all during the ceremony. Our pictures came out just amazing, we couldn't have had a better experience.

Allen and Vicki are amazing! Their photography is the reason I picked my venue. I knew the very first time I saw their work that they needed to be my photographers. They are super easy to be around which is very important on such a stressful day as your wedding. Their work is leaps and bounds above what I've seen of other wedding photographers. They really have a true talent for their art. You won't be disappointed with anything they do. I am so pleased with my wedding pictures. The crazy part is, I didn't even see them during my ceremony and rehearsal! They are very non intrusive so you really get to enjoy your moment without cameras in your face and they still capture every moment like they were right next to you. I would recommend them to any bride without hesitation.

Allen and Vicki were wonderful to work with!!! they were so flexible and always answered emails, phone calls and text messages! they were so understanding with a last minute cancellation we had with our engagement photo session, Our pictures were breathtaking!! the moments that were captured and not posed were priceless!! Allan and Vicki were the photographers for our wedding, and we could not have been happier! They were fun, relaxed, and flexible throughout our day. Our bridal party and families all commented on how fun and relaxed they were, and we received so much positive feedback from our guests. We recently received our photos, and we are so happy with the outcome. We would recommend them in a heartbeat!

My husband and I do not have a single complaint about this husband and wife team. They were beyond professional and made our day unforgettable. The quality of their work was breath taking. And you wouldn't even know they were there. They were definitely worth every penny we paid.

Allan and Vicki were phenomenal and exceeded all of our expectations! We couldn't have expected anything better when viewing our photos. They truly captured our Wedding Day. Their communication was better than anyone we attempted to book before them. They took their time to get to know us as a couple and showed interest in our style. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!!! My expectations were exceeded and Vicki and Allan managed to get SO many great shots, despite me not wanting to leave my reception for photos! Allan and Vicki made our day! I met them at a bridal show and knew they were the ones. Upon booking them, we completed our engagement shoot where we were able to get to know and feel comfortable. They created a great guest book for the wedding out of those photos. The day of the wedding, they were there from beginning to end. The "getting ready" shots through the last dance. They were professional and timely. A+ I can't wait to get our proofs!

Allan and Vicky did an amazing job with my wedding pictures. They were so efficient, and very patience. I was a very high-maintenance bride, especially when it comes to photography. I had a million requests, and questions they were able to answer and accomodate everything. My pictures came out absolutely amazing. I get so many compliments on my pictures.( Even to submit them into bridal magazines. I could not have asked for a better photographer, I would recommend them to anyone! Allan and Vicki are great people, were flexible with our requests throughout the planning process, and made us feel completely relaxed and comfortable on the wedding day. Our entire bridal party complimented what a pleasure it was to work with them-- they were never overbearing or intrusive. They worked really well with our other vendors, who were also husband-wife teams in the Hudson Valley, which made for a smooth wedding day experience.

One of the reasons my husband and I chose Allan E. Levine Photography was because of the tremendous value we'd be receiving for our wedding photography package. We were able to get a package that included two parent albums and a gorgeous wedding album for the price that other photographers in the area were (unreasonably) charging for a package with only a tiny wedding album. Allan's photo expertise and Vicki's creative design techniques gave us total confidence in their work. All of our albums and photos came out beautiful-- and they even offered us a complimentary upgrade when new and improved quality products (albums) became available, which was thoughtful and beyond the call-of-duty. I would absolutely recommend them!!

Allan and Vicki were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were responsive, listened to us and what we were envisioning, down to earth, and fun. It was really important to us that our photographer (well, all of our vendors) understood that we wanted to have a classy but fun wedding, and they got it. They took some gorgeous portraits and some fabulous party shots. We got a ton of pictures, and we're still getting compliments on them 9 months later! The album turned out beautifully as well. Highly recommended.

Allan and Vicki are not only professional, but extremely friendly and they are down to earth. They provided amazing pictures and their background in scenic photography shines through. They are easy to work with and wonderful people overall. Allan has a lot of creativity that we loved. The guests loved the photos and so did we. They worked with us to put together a wonderful photo album. What is best is that you know who the people are who will shoot the wedding...it is not random people at a large studio. They took photos while we were getting ready at the hotel, followed us to the church, to the hall, and took wonderfully dramatic after wedding photos without charging extra. They listened to the types of shots we wanted and added their own ideas. Amazing photographer!

I have nothing but good things to say about working with Allan and Vicki for my wedding in October. Working with them was great! They made my husband and I very comfortable through the whole process. Planning the photographic portion of our event was made very easy- the number of samples they had from other events was outstanding and the quality of their work is phenomenal. They are professional and are easily adaptable to any situation we presented them with. We were charged an "average" price for our photography package but were presented with AMAZING service and results. This was one portion of our wedding that we did not have to stress about or worry that it would not be the quality that we had anticipated. I have already recommended them to my friends who are planning on getting married in the future. The photographs captured our wedding just the way we wanted. Two thumbs up and Five stars for money very well spent.

Thank you Allan and Vicki for taking phenomenal pictures at our September 19 wedding. Everyone that has seen the pictures has commented on how wonderful they look. One person actually said "I don't know how much you paid for your photographer, but it was well worth it, because those are some of the best wedding shots I've ever seen." Little do they know how reasonably priced your services are - and that you traveled to Virginia for us!! We can't thank you enough for everything you did for us. Everything was perfect.

Allan amd Vicki were so amazing to work with. They spent every single part of the day with us and I have never seen photographers stay as long as they did to really ensure they capture every detail of the day. The slide show displaying pictures from earlier in the day was a special touch to my reception. They did take a while to post the pictures but it is because they take so many (I had over 1,000 photos) and take pride in what they do and want to make sure it is perfect for all to see. You will not regret using Allan and Vicki for your event!

I met Allan and Vicki of AEL Photography through an acquaintance of mine a couple of years before I was engaged to be married. They had fun personalities and I got along with them well. I had the chance to view samples of their work and immediately knew I would keep them in mind when planning my wedding.

Once I got engaged, I had them on the top of my list however, being a careful planner, I did my due diligence and explored other options. My fiancé and I decided to go with AEL Photography because of their style and quality of the photography, their awesome online reviews, and their fun personalities. I knew I would enjoy working with them which is incredibly important as you end up spending your entire wedding day with them.

An engagement session was included with our package. Allan and Vicki were accommodating and willing to go just about anywhere for our engagement shoot, even multiple locations. We decided to have ours at Locust Grove in Poughkeepsie. We had such a great time! We were nervous at first but they got us laughing immediately which helped us to relax. It really shows in our pictures. We just look natural and you can see we’re having a good time.

From this experience, I knew that our wedding day would be the same way. Two weeks before the wedding, Vicki finalized our shot list and reviewed the wedding details with us. They arrived on time and were prepared. They were always on top of what was going on so I didn’t have to worry about them missing any details or special moments. They got all the shots on our list, and got along well with our family members.

We got our (over 1,500) photos a few months after the wedding and we’re so incredibly happy with them. Our photos are beautiful and really captured our personalities and style, and all the happy memories of that day. My (now) husband and I will treasure them always. We can’t thank them enough for doing such a great job. It goes without saying, we highly recommend AEL Photography.

They take amazing photos. Make sure your bridal party is on time and ready for photos when they should be. It can cause some tension between the bridal party and the photographers when the bridal party feels as though they are being rushed to keep up with the schedule.

We are so so happy with the service provided by Allan and Vicky. The photographs were exceptional. Every friend and family member loved the photographs. We had a very small wedding, with only a handful of close friends and family, and the photos that Allan and Vicky clicked have given the whole event a very grand feeling.
We especially appreciate how cooperative and accommodating they were to our adhoc schedule on the day. We highly recommend Allan E Levine Photography.

Allan's passion for photography is apparent. During my first meeting Vicky, Allan's wife and business partner, and I were talking over photos, timelines, etc and Allan all of a sudden is snapping pictures. Not all photos spoke about during meeting were taken during wedding but the photos that were are amazing.
My husband and I did our engagement shoot with Allan before the wedding and it was a blast. Allan made it comfortable and so much fun. An assistant had edited my engagement pictures and Allan's professionalism really showed through in that he wanted to re-edit them not because they were edited poorly but more so so that they were up to his standard.
Throughout the shoots Allan shows you pictures he's taking and they are gorgeous. The best thing about this package was getting a "teaser" slide show for my guests to look at during the reception of the getting ready shots and a few ceremony shots.

I have been waiting to write this review, as I was hoping I would not have to write it. Up until the wedding day, Allan and Vicki Levine were wonderful to work with. We had a great engagement shoot with them and thought that we were on the same page as we approached our wedding day. We had a few issues on the day of the wedding (they didn't take into consideration the notes I had given them about having divorced parents who wouldn't want to be in pictures together, we did not make it to any of our cocktail hour despite explaining to them how important that was to us, etc), but were able to look past these minor disturbances. We were surprised with how long it took to receive our pictures, but were happy with the end result.

However, since the wedding day, it has been virtually impossible to get anything from them. My biggest issue with them is their lack of communication after the wedding. I originally contacted them in the end of October looking for an image that they took at our wedding. I asked if it would be possible to get a copy of the photo in color, rather than the black and white they gave us. They emailed me back the next day saying that it may take up to a week to get the image to me, but that they would work on it. I waited patiently, understanding that they may be busy with other couples. At the end of November, I sent another email. I never heard back so my husband called and got a hold of VIcki, who apologized and said we would receive the image within a few days. Once again, we never received anything. My husband called again and got Allan AND Vicki on the phone, who both told him we would hear something from them about the image within a day or two. We still have yet to hear anything back from them. We were hoping to use the $200 print credit that comes along with their packages towards a nice wedding photo, but I am extremely disappointed with their lack of communication and have no desire to work with them anymore.
