Excellent team, easy to work with, amazing job done

If you need a wedding DJ do not hesitate to choose All Star. John and his team are absolutely phenomenal and did such an amazing job at our wedding! They were incredibly kind and easy to work with. Everything, from the processional/recessional music to the reception dance music was done flawlessly. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

Amazing experience working with John for our wedding

John made us feel at ease during the days leading up to the wedding and made it super easy for us to do the song selections while also providing great recommendations and advice for the ceremony and reception. On the day of the event, we were very happy with everything: lighting, photobooth, and DJ. He really is top notch at what he does, very reliable, and I highly recommend him for any kind of event!

The Best!!

All Star Entertainment has to be the best prepared, easiest to work with, most fun entertainment company on the planet!! When I first called John, I had no clue what to ask or what to look for in a DJ, but I was sold on All Star Entertainment from our first conversation because he was friendly and knowledgeable. He’s excellent to work with in the planning stages because he’s so thorough, and him and his team were even more fun to work with during the wedding. The music, the lighting, and the Photo Booth were all perfect. We wanted a wide variety of music from several decades and a few different countries, and All Star Entertainment made it work. They are absolutely the best!

Could not recommend John and his crew more! John was amazing to work with leading up to our wedding, was available basically 24/7 to answer any and all questions and help us through the planning process. On our wedding day, he was a key part in helping the day go smoothly. Thank you so much for everything, we could not be happier with how our day went!

Fantastic DJ

John did a fantastic job as the dj for our wedding at the James Ward mansion! He was a great host & gave me all the guidance i needed as far as what should happen & when & to pick certain songs. Our guests were dancing & having a great time & the up lighting looked beautiful in the venue. Thanks John!

A smooth process from start to finish, highly recommend.

I highly recommend John. He is an excellent DJ. The photo booth was also amazing . The person in charge of the Photo Booth was also wonderful. Our guests had a blast. John was easy to work with and responsive throughout the process.

Amazing DJ!

In DJ Tim we trust!! All of our guests can’t stop telling us how great the music was at our wedding. AllStar Entertainment was great at answering our questions throughout the process. DJ Tim was able to accommodate our musical requests, even a Taylor Swift mashup! He went above and beyond on the day of. We’re so glad we booked him for our wedding!

Amazing DJ!

From the get-go, finding a wedding DJ through All Star was incredibly easy. Jeremy was extremely helpful and transparent with packages, pricing, etc, and even was able to match us with a wonderful DJ right away! Brian was a fantastic DJ who really went the extra mile to make sure our day went perfectly. In our pre-meeting, he made sure he knew all of our processional and recessional orders, checked-in about any family drama he should be aware of, and even confirmed name pronunciations with us to make sure everything was perfect on the wedding day. He kept the energy going all night long, and our reception was an absolute blast of a dance party until the very end.

Wonderful! Highly recommended

Tom was great. We had a very specific vision for our wedding music, and Tom was great at accommodating what we wanted and keeping the dance floor packed all night. And he did it without drawing too much attention to himself; he let the music speak for himself. Tom also met with us in advance, talked us through the night, and helped us think about timing for the reception, including suggestions and insight into things we hadn’t thought about, for example, how long the buffet service would take. Guests have gone out of their way to compliment the energy on the dance floor, and we think Tom did a great job shepherding the dancing over the course of the evening. We highly recommend AllStar, and Tom Madden particularly.

All Star All The Way!

All Star DJ Entertainment really is an all-star experience. The guy behind the curtain, John DePalma is not just a DJ he brings a level of entertainment and expertise to the dance floor that is unmatched by any other experience. He’ s like family, only the kind you want at your wedding! Weddings are crazy. And our wedding day agenda was a tall order - lots of specific sound cues with elaborate entrances. The bells and whistles had bells and whistles. And All Star DJ Entertainment didn’t miss a beat! I am grateful for the rhythm they gave that day and the amazing experience they gave to people of all generations from around the world that shared the dance floor that night!

A Party From Start to Finish

John crushed it!! We did a cocktail hour style wedding with no speeches and just 1 special dance at the beginning, so it was all on John to keep the party going and man did he ever. Everyone had a great time and wished the party could have gone on longer, 10/10 would use again!!

Our Wedding

All Star Entertainment did an AMAZING job at our wedding. Every single one of our guests was out on the dance floor. They played songs that both the younger generation and older generation loved. John with All-Star is the best!

From the minute we talked to John about the possibility of working with him at our wedding, I knew we would choose him and I was convinced that the music would be great. He knew our venue inside and out, respected our vision of a true dance party, and was very clear that we would be in charge of the songs he played. He made available to us his 180,000-song database and we picked songs we absolutely wanted to hear, songs we would be amenable to hearing, and songs we had zero interest in. He adhered to every request. He is responsive, enthusiastic, and open to ideas, and he knows how to keep people on the dance floor. The music at our wedding was exactly what we wanted, thanks to John. I recommend him wholeheartedly and look forward to the chance to work with him again.

Perfect wedding!

All star was the perfect choice for our wedding! From the very beginning, John was able to guide us through the planning process and give suggestions about what types of music to play during the different parts of the evening. He was very responsive, thoughtful, and professional,and the event flowed very smoothly. It was evident that all the guests loved the music, based on how many people were on the dance floor! After the wedding, many friends and family raved about the music and how great it was. I could not be happier with John and the All Star team, and would highly recommend them to anyone planning an event!

The owner John DePalma was the DJ for our wedding and he was FANTASTIC! Everyone complimented the music and there was something played for everyone in attendance. I've been to a few weddings over the years, but Johns style blew everyone else away! I'll definitely hire him for any future events!

We can't thank John DePalma of All Star Entertainment enough for the outstanding job he did as the DJ at our daughter's wedding. From the first time we met with him until the wedding itself, John was kind, knowledgable and professional. Our daughter and son in law felt that John really listened to them with regard to song selection and the overall atmosphere they envisioned for their reception. He was fully equipped, offering LED lights, photo booth and smoke machine. The lighting effects in the room were fantastic! John worked well with the venue in timing the bride and groom's special moments and his experience with announcing and reading the crowd to deliver a classy yet upbeat presentation was evident. John played music that kept the dance floor full all night. We were happy to see all age groups out there having a wonderful time. Everyone keeps telling us that they had so much fun and the wedding was the "best ever"! Several of the guests have already asked for John's contact information and one has already booked their party with him! So much planning and expense goes into a wedding. The DJ can make or break the party. John DePalma really made our daughter's wedding a great success! We highly recommend him!

DJ John and All-Star Entertainment were PERFECT for our special day! We had a blast at my brother's wedding (our family wouldn't stop raving about how good DJ John was), and we knew for sure our guests were going to have a great time at ours! He offers plenty of extra add-ons and services. We enjoyed the open photo booth and the live photographer who took photos that were displayed on the screens. DJ John personalized and customized his services for us, and allowed us to make choices about what we wanted and what we didn't want. We especially loved the opportunity to take our time in selecting songs using the web-based song selection program. There were so many songs available, both old and new. We also appreciated the idea that were able to choose songs we did NOT want played at our wedding, regardless of a guest request. We see DJ John at other events, and he always remembers us. It is great to know we have a new friend with whom we share some great memories!
All Star Entertainment has never disappointed us, and will not disappoint!

John was wonderful through the whole experience. He seems to be very passionate of his job and any conversation we had with him, it always ended up in laughter. I provided him an extensive and mixed playlist and he and Jonathan were great about fitting in everything we wanted to please our mixed crowd. They both did a great job of keeping everything running smoothly and on time. I would definitely recommend him as a DJ. My guests had a wonderful time and we're still getting compliments about the music and lighting.

John at All Star was wonderful through the whole experience from booking, planning and the actual wedding. I gave him an extensive play list and he was great about fitting in everything I wanted. He also MC'd the wedding and did a great job of keeping everything running smoothly and on time. We also booked a photo booth through him and it was a huge hit. He had a huge number of different kinds of props and our guests had a great time all night long. I would highly recommend this vendor

John was FANTASTIC! From the very beginning he was friendly, professional, and personable. He went above and beyond, even before we hired him, to make sure that we got exactly what we wanted on our special day.
John is your man for your special day, and If you are having your reception at The James Ward Mansion, then you NEED to have John.
He has an uncanny ability to read the crowd and keep everyone on their feet, dancing, the whole time.

Our music for the ceremony and the reception was pretty selective and All Star Entertainment was right on key. We couldn't be happier with the service, the attention to detail and the quality of his work. He sure knows how to make a wedding memorable and to help things going for the wedding. We used All Star Entertainment for our wedding this past weekend and they were amazing! During the entire planning process, they answered all of the questions we had very quickly. John was very flexible with the way we wanted certain things to happen and ensured that everything went smoothly. He was good at taking our cues to make sure we were completely happy and comfortable the whole night. He was very professional and had a great personality. They played every song we requested they play, and they took our song choices and played similar music based on our music tastes. He really knew how to read the crowd to keep people on the dance floor. I think every single person got up to dance at one point or another. I even noticed that he would purposely play songs I requested while I was already on the dance floor which was awesome. The price was I think around average for a dj for a wedding, but well worth it for the quality of what you are getting. I would recommend them to anyone needing a dj for their event.

The second I first spoke with John, I knew he was the right DJ for us. He is funny, pleasant, you feel like you have known him for years, returned calls/emails immediately but most importantly, I was looking for someone who would fall within my budget and make the wedding very personal and guests comfortable and entertained at my small, intimtate 75-guest wedding. When we met him, we were so impressed with how professional he was!-he assured us to have a back-up of every piece of equipment on our wedding day-even back up of the MC bc hey u never know! He even brought a backup laptop for our meeting just in case! LOL! He offered everyting I wanted and needed for a great price: website is user friendly and make song selection process SMOOTH and fun, we got 2 screens w/our names displayed on them & random candid photos of guests displayed on them all night long (which John's photographer took)--we got those photos right after our wedding as a souvenir. Everyone LOVED seeing themselves up on the screens--even those who were not dancing were entertained bc they could sit back and watch all the action shots of everyone! Guests raved about the song selections John chose as he would read the crowd so well, dance floor was never empty, not even during dinner! No dull moment was had as John set WONDERFUL atmosphere for the evening, has a fantastic MC voice and found a very creative and fun way to host our wedding-i loved the way he made a game out of giving away the centerpieces! He also kept checking on us throughout the night to make sure we were happy with everything. He really catered to us and our guests' song requests and we didn't have any complaints as he did NOT disappoint. Def recommend him and his team!!! -Marta

All Star Entertainment did an incredible job at our wedding! Words cannot express how impressed I was with their ability to keep my family and friends dancing the whole night. The selection and timing of songs was truly amazing. The way they carried out a tribute to my late aunt was so special, and it will forever remain a fond memory for me and my family members for years to come. I have known John for years- he DJ'ed my sweet 16 so it was only fitting that he also do my wedding! The materials on the website that allow you to search and customize your music were such a big help and took a lot of the guess work out of finding the perfect soundtrack to our special day. The photographs playing on the screen during the reception were amazing! It was great for everyone to be able to see candids in real time, especially in case anyone missed anything. John and the whole DJ staff were very accomodating to my requests and those of my guests! Everyone had a great time and the dance floor was full the whole night (except for when everyone was eating!). If you're looking for good value at a great price, I recommend All Star Entertainment!

John DePalma and All Star Entertainment were a fantastic selection for my wedding at the James Ward Mansion in Westfield NJ. John is an enthusiastic, genial guy who was always available to me in the planning process and was extremely receptive to every request I made of him. He followed my instructions exactly and perfectly executed both my ceremony and reception's sound and music. He was able to find all of the obscure music I requested for both portions of my event. During our reception, he read the crowd well, limiting his interjections over the music as we requested. He found us throughout the event to clarify any confusion on details we requested and followed my instructions exactly. He has an excellent "DJ voice" that was perfect for our event - a touch of flair without going over the top. He comes with my strongest recommendation for your wedding or any other party or event you are planning.

FANTASTIC CHOICE ! My Husband and I are very much into music and thought it was so important to pick a fantastic DJ for our wedding. We searched the internet and got recommendations from friends and spoke with quite a few DJs and after getting off the phone with the others we weren't confident in their services.

WE were confident when we spoke with Jon and his staff from ALLSTAR! Jon has a wonderful personality ,speaking with him was like catching up with an old friend. He's laid back,funny and fantastic to work with . And he's patient, which was great for us! We got so over whelmed with things we forgot to give him the music lists and wedding details till the last minute. He was on point and called to remind us, so our day went has great as it did! My family and friends thought he was great also ,a bunch of our guests commented on what a great job he did and we definitely agree!

Music keeps the wedding going and sets the mood throughout the night ,its so important to your special day and we are so happy we chose ALLSTAR ! They are worth every penny!!! They knew how to keep the young ,the elderly and the wild bunch dancing and enjoying them selves!

We also chose to have the photo montage. The photographer was wonderful and shot alot of good moments .The pictures came out great. My guests loved seeing them selves on the tv throughout the night and enjoyed the music videos!

ALLSTAR has my recommendation for any one planning a wedding or special event !

It was a pleasure having John from AllStar Entertainment NJ, DJ our wedding. My mother and I had met John at a bridal show at the Jamesward Mansion in Westfield,NJ. Right away John captivated us with his fun-loving personality and musical intellect. Following the bridal show, we set up an appointment with John to come out and meet us one-on-one in order to discuss our needs for the wedding. Although the AllStar Entertainment NJ office is located in Cranford, quite a distance from Flemington, John offered to come out to our house. We agreed instead to meet halfway. The meeting went so well, that we booked John that day without having met with any other DJs. We knew that we would be in great hands with him. Throughout the several months to follow we were in contact with John. Each interaction was friendly and productive. Speaking with John was like catching up with an old friend. He is an amazing DJ and friend. We owe John and AllStar Entertainment NJ our sincerest gratitude for making our wedding day fun! I could go on and on for days about how lucky we were to find him and the AllStar Entertainment company, but I will just say that we will be recommending him to all of our friends and we ourselves will use him any time a DJ is needed. I cannot wait to catch up with John to talk about our wedding day and show him pictures of all of my family and friends dancing the night away. It doesn't get better than that!

allstar discussed our preferences before the reception and assisted as the master of ceremony during the reception. he "read" the crowd and kept their interest to dance. worked well with the photographer and took requests from the family. he actively participated in the reception, not just played songs. there is nothing i can think of that he did not do.

John & his crew were professional, attentive, responsive to our requests and just plain FUN! We loved his use of technology to work on our playlists. He asked a lot of questions and really took our responses seriously. Our guests had nothing but great things to say and we will use All Star Entertainment again.

My wedding was a COMPLETE success because of All Star Entertainment!! EVERYONE danced all night. Even my Grandma! My friends and family are still calling me to talk about what an amazing time they had. You're part of our family forever. We can't thank you enough.

All Star Entertainment made our wedding so memorable. We dealt with the owner John DePalma exclusively and his personalized attention was wonderful. The quality of service was amazing. The great music he played kept our guests dancing all night long, the laser light show made the room look like a NYC club, and the video monitors that he set up showed a slide show of our pictures during dinner and music videos during the dancing. Our guests all let us know that they loved all the entertainment! He was very responsive to our requests from music selection to lighting and John DePalma quickly responded to all our calls and emails. John and his employees showed up early to make sure all the equipment was set up and working properly before going live. In fact, John personally visited the location and found out ahead of time that our second floor reception rooms had no elevator, so he was able to plan ahead to arrive extra early to bring all the equipment up the stairs. John and his crew showed up in matching tuxedos to further enhance the elegance we wanted for our special day. Everything went perfectly and John DePalma made our wedding PERFECT. John DePalma came highly recommended and I would highly recommend All Star Entertainment for any event.

All Star Entertainment was the life of our party. Our group never sat down. Their music selection is unbelievable and when a song was requested, they had it. If you are looking for a DJ, don't go any further than All Star Entertainment!

Was the most responsive and professional vendor we worked with for our wedding. Wish we had spent more time with the entertainment, but we used a venue with multiple rooms so we were not in the dance area all the time. But whenever we were, there was always people dancing, having a good time. A few hiccups on what was planned, but nothing major. Highly recommend the vendor.

We selected All Star Entertainment because they were recommended by our wedding venue. I had several conversations with John and read several of the posted reviews. You will find All Star (John in particular) to be pleasant, professional and very accommodating. We had several last minute changes and he handled them without a problem and even added his own touches which were much appreciated. Our guests danced the night away and enjoyed the music. My husband and I highly recommend them, and would certainly not hesitate to use them again (well not for a wedding we are not doing that again). You will not regret selecting All Star Entertainment, we were more than happy with their service on a very important day in our lives!

John and staff at All Star Entertainment were great to work with. We knew John was great to work with after years of having him DJ various functions for family members. John was responsive to my outreach and extremely personable. The online planning tools provided were easy to use and allowed for thorough planning for all aspects of my wedding reception. The only issue I had was that they skipped over a few of my "must play" songs in favor of my "maybe play" songs. There was one particular "must play" song that I, and a few family members, were sad to have missed. Though, I doubt other guests had a clue. Also, one song played twice during dinner (though not in a row), but it wasn't a big deal. All of the guests RAVED about how awesome this DJ was. Our friends and family were constantly dancing! I would definitely use All Star Entertainment again and I would recommend them to other brides as well. Everyone loved them!
