Billy can mix anything

Billy was exceptionally good at helping us plan our timeline and perfectly executed our vision. He was able to acquire every track we requested and did a really good job mixing everything together. Billy put together an amazing Techno Hour for us with some really obscure tracks we requested, which just goes to show that he can mix ANYTHING you throw at him.

Our Guests LOVED the playlist and Bill was so great to work with!

Bill was fantastic to work with! Not only was he able to take our request and even help find some obscure music for our First Dance, but he did a great job mixing the music so it flowed perfectly and got the party going! He also helped us put together our timeline and his website was easy to figure out and put in requests, itinerary, and fill out the information. He made our wedding day a breeze and was so fun and great to work with that we will totally reccomend him to our friends and family in the future. Thanks Billy!

This DJ is the very best

How lucky we are to have had Billy Zee as our DJ at our wedding reception on Sept 29, 2018. His selection of music is massive. Very professional, very experienced, listens, and made sure our day was perfect. We had over 100 guests and I am still getting Billy Zee compliments. Stop your search for the best. This is your guy.

A Night to Remember

Billy was great! From the beginning, I had crazy visions in my head of how I wanted to be announced at my reception and to what song and what "moment" of the song I felt would bring about goosebumps. He didn't seem to flinch at any of that! Not to mention, he was priced super reasonably for having such high reviews. I would definitely recommend DJ Billy Zee to other brides and grooms looking to add the perfect soundtrack to their day.

Amazing DJ, so glad we went with him!

DJ Billy Zee was fantastic. We had multiple phone calls before the wedding so he could get a better sense of who we are and what we wanted. From our list of songs requested before the wedding DJ Billy Zee put together seamless medleys so people of the generation who would get up and dance for Kool & the Gang’s “Celebration” didn’t sit down during the Black Eyed Peas “I Got a Feeling.” People didn’t need to jump up to dance to their favorite song—they were already on the dance floor.

(As a side note, we went with DJ Billy Zee because my husband had attended a wedding where the bride was Jewish and the groom was from Zimbabwe, and DJ Billy Zee STILL managed to make the music of the diverse cultures blend!)

Should we have another event for which we want a DJ, we will definitely be going with DJ Billy Zee!

We had DJ Billy for our Company Holiday Party. He was professional, enthusiastic, and kept the night moving flawlessly between the great music and our constant interruptions to give away prizes. Employees loved him and want him back next year, thanks Billy !

DJ Billy Zee was great to work with and a great value.

We've attended other weddings hosted by DJ Billy Zee and have worked with him on a past occasion as part of a wedding party, so using him was almost a no brainer. He was very easy to work with and his rates are competitive among the other DJ services out there.

His online planner is nice and allows you to choose songs you must hear during the event and also songs you don't want him to play. It also provides resources and a page to layout the wedding day, and identify any special ceremonies, games, announcements you would like him to do. Leading up to the wedding week, we worked closely over the phone and through email to nail down names and identify how we wanted the day to go.

Overall, the day went very well and DJ Billy Zee was flexible and provided a great atmosphere for our guests to enjoy themselves. The dance floor was packed all night and we all had a blast. Thanks DJ Billy Zee!

Very responsive for via email and phone. Really works to make your day special for you and respects wishes. If he needs any clarifications on your requests for the event, he will email or call to ensure he gets it right. Also, if you have obscure requests, he will be able to find them.

We cannot THANK Billy enough! Our wedding day was beautiful and ran like a well oiled machine thanks to our amazing vendors; but Billy's services went above and beyond what we expected. His time line processes, while it took a couple days to fill out, made the difference in my husband and I knowing what we wanted in terms of special games, music and additional equipment. We didn't have many yes/maybe/no songs but Billy has great taste and every song choice was appropriate, timely, and let us and our guest dance the night away. He kept us on time and informed us about what was happening (ie. games and cake cutting) so our photographer got every picture. His personality and enthusiasm helped shape our wedding. Wonderful and Fabulous; go book him today!

I am extremely happy with Bill's DJ service at our wedding last month. I highly recommend Bill to any couple. Bill has great personality and is very easy to communicate with. He gave us so many pieces of invaluable advice during the stressful wedding planning and was very patient with all of our questions and last minute schedule changes. On the wedding day, he kept the wedding flowing smoothly and most importantly, he kept all the guests on the dance floor!

My daughter's wedding was combination American and Indian, and Billy was right on it playing the Indian music dance mix I made for him. He also played my wife's favorite dance tunes. You can't go wrong with Bill as your DJ.

I was very happy with Billy Z when he DJ'd for our bar mitzvah. I originally chose him because his website talked about his experiences dealing with middle-schoolers, and that was exactly what we needed. He didn't disappoint. He kept the kids engaged throughout the whole party, and kept the tempo up for hours. He listened to my kids and to me when we talked about how we wanted the party to go (more games, fewer dances), and he planned activities that let the kids interact with each other in a fun, but low pressure, way. He was really responsive, answering my emails promptly. He was also really helpful in giving me advice about other parts of the party - what sorts of trinkets to buy to pass out at the party, etc. - things that he wasn't obligated to do, but took the time to do regardless. Of the vendors I worked with for the party (DJ, balloons, photo booth, hotel, caterer), Billy Z was by far the best of them in terms of service, responsiveness, and professionalism. When you plan a party, you're never quite sure what's going to happen, but when I arrived, he and the motivator were already set up and ready to go! My kids really liked the interactive video screen, both for the slide show as well as for the dancing. I'd totally recommend him to others.

Billy Zee was awesome! He is very personable, friendly and organized. I really liked the site he has where you can enter your playlist, event timeline and ceremony specifications. It is very helpful. The music videos played on the projector were a great touch. I got so many compliments for choosing him!

Billy Zee was outstanding! He provided us with questionnaires to fill out regarding everything from our wedding party's names to what type of music we wanted for each part of the night. When I had some questions, he also gave us an hour-long phone consultation on what order of events he recommended as flowing best in his experience, music suggestions, etc. He called me the week before the wedding to confirm name pronunciation for every member of the wedding party. Billy Zee could not have been more on the ball, and his music selection was perfect all night. We told him we wanted "5/10" in terms of DJ interactiveness, and his level of involvement in the reception was just what we wanted. Keep an eye out--he often has a $100 discount listed on his web page or on The Knot or WeddingWire; ask about it if you don't see it! Overall, we recommend him in a heartbeat!

During and ever since the wedding (a year ago) we've had people comment on our playlist--whether it was a request for it, or talking about how well a medley created by DJ Billy Zee from our list of requested songs really worked. His methodology of getting to know us and our musical taste and letting us tell him what we absolutely wanted and didn't want, turned out perfectly. DJ Billy Zee did a really great job of keeping everyone on the dance floor (I heard a few people say "I was going to do X, but the music was too good to want to leave!) He made it very easy to coordinate with him for everything, including when we knew we wanted special photos to ensure that they weren't occurring at the same time as we wanted to be dancing, or that important photos wouldn't follow fast dances without a chance to cool off first. Especially helpful was the timetable he created, as we really had no clue, and the guidance was most appreciated!

Bill was amazing! I would highly highly recommend. He was so professional and helped me stick to my timeline, which was crucial since I didn't have a day of coordinator. More importantly though, he kept the dance floor full the entire night! We told him we wanted to essentially have a big dance party and he made it happen! He was awesome :)

DJ Bill did a great job from start to finish! He was very helpful and involved during the planning process. On the day of the event, he arrived on time to set up and followed the event timeline as planned. His mix of songs, videos and crowd interaction were fantastic! I would hire DJ Bill again.

Highly recommend! He was so flexible when we had to postpone a year and move venues when our original venue cancelled on us. He was so easy to work with and had the most amazing online tool that made planning much less stressful. His setup was awesome and he had this monitor that showed pictures of us during our first dance, showed dance moves during some of the songs and even cool videos if there weren't dance videos. He counted us into 2017 and was so great with guests. I could not have asked for a better DJ.

Billy Zee was great. He seems a little expensive at first, but definitly worth the quality of service. He always responded to me quickly and had a lot of very helpful suggestions. His online portal is very helpful, especially if you're a long distance planner like I was. If you're looking for someone to be a good emcee for your reception, Billy is your guy. He played both our ceremony and reception music (he could have done cocktail hour, too). He was very detailed which was a big plus.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bill to anyone.
He is all the following and more.
Bill is extremely professional in all communications to the client and their guests.
He is also patient and listens to the client's requests. As an example: My wife requested he do a couple of introductions after our inititial time line and Bill gladly worked with her to accomplish all of our goals, twists & turns that we through at him to the agenda.
Bill answers all questions swiftly through Email, Texts or phone calls. In a few instances, ( I think 3 or 4 times), He responded back to my questions about the On -Line Planning documents with the hour. Sometimes within minutes all times of the day or night. Speaking of On - Line Planning. His programs that you select the music are excellent and he used "Drop Box " for our film strip data show and special Greek songs that really pleased my whole family. Bill is very open to suggestions or ethic music and he does it like he was Greek or Itaiian or whatever forever. When left to him , you can trust him to make the right decisions for you if you simply can't.
Bill gets a feel for what the client wants and mixes songs and activities smoothly and along with a few pleasant add-ins ( like a hola hoop competition in our case since he learned from the photos we supplied my wife likes to do hola hoop). He will pick up your personality and intuitively communicates that throughout the event.

Bill also communicates the pricing through well written contracts and acknowledges receipt of deposits and payments along the way.

Bill is a true gentleman. We love him and we would highly recommend his talents and services to anyone.

It was nothing but a real pleasure and honor to work with such a nice guy !!!!!

Before the wedding he made sure everything was planned well with the planning website, timeline and the phone call before the wedding. He even made recommendations for the reception time line based on his experience which was extremely helpful. For the ceremony music, he made sure he had the right interpretations for the classical pieces. During the event everything went well from our perspective and the guests were dancing most of the night. In fact , we were dancing most of the night. The bridal party introduction to the first dance transition was perfect.
We highly recommend DJ Billy Zee. We had a pleasant impression with him at our first meeting a year before the wedding. It was clear to us that he had a passion for music and what he does! The planning process was really easy and he was quick to respond to our inquiries. He played a good mix of music even incorporating some alternatives. We will definitely use his services again for any other events in the future.

DJ Billy Zee went above and beyond the call of his duties. He kept everything on schedule and moving through the night. Even reminding us to get on the dance floor when we were so busy with greeting guests, pictures etc.

His online tool made it easy to pick our favorite songs and even pick songs we didn't want played.

Would highly recommend DJ Billy Zee as he really knows how to keep everything on schedule and entertain a crowd.

DJ Billy Zee was pretty awesome. My husband selected him for our wedding, since he liked his website. He managed everything perfectly. DJ Billy Zee helped create our time line that flowed perfectly. The ceremony sound system was a plus since the officiant was given a clip on microphone. We were able to choose all of the songs for our wedding using his online planner. We loved his style of mixing the music, which was non-stop during the dancing set. All of my friends and family had a blast and many said it was the best wedding they ever attended. Thank you very much Bill. You are now part of our family.

Our wedding was June 27, 2015, in Ocean City MD. We searched for a DJ but we were having terrible luck. (Or was it good luck? One of the DJ companies we found that we were thinking of going with went out of business a week before our wedding!) We found DJ Billy Zee on Wedding Wire and because of his great reviews, we decided to book him. We felt reassured by the reviews and also by his website, which displayed to me that he had a real passion for his profession. In retrospect, I think that's what won me over. It didn't look like he did this "on the side" for extra money - you can tell that this is his profession, and he is good at it. The videos he posts to his page truly demonstrate that. I also loved the planning tools he provides - you can make lists of songs you want to hear and don't want to hear, and his planner also takes you through the whole day and allows you to fill in the music so both you and Billy Zee have the selections. I almost forgot to pick a reception entrance song (how could I forget that?!) but by using his planning tool, I remembered that (duh!) I needed that! It kept me focused and on task at a time when details were easy to forget, since the wedding was quickly approaching and there was so much to do! On the day of the wedding, Billy Zee was a true professional. Because of his detailed planning tools, he was able to use the music we picked and fill in the blanks with songs that matched our style and audience. He did a GREAT job. He wasn't cheesy or over-the-top or attention-grabby. He put the bride (me!) and groom first and delivered an awesome experience! Beyond that, he's a truly nice, genuine, and reliable person. Our friends and family raved about him. I highly recommend him!

Overall, DJ Billy Zee was excellent. He worked with us quite a bit, tweaking the program and offering helpful tips. On the day of the event he was early, and set up very quick. During the party he assisted the MCs with on-the-spot music selections, and never let the music stop. He was on point and not overbearing, like some DJs we have heard, he didn't talk over the music and kept going until the party was over.

We selected DJ Billy Zee for our summer camp wedding. He his online portal was great and allowed us to do all the planning ahead of time and not wait until the last minute. It took less than a 20 minute phone call 2 weeks before to confirm everything. So on the day of everything was perfectly planned and timed. Our ceremony music was fantastic and I felt like a bride in a movie watching the men come in from afar and my girls walking then me coming down the isle. He kept the night going through cocktail hour and before our guests even finished dinner- there was a massive dance party on the floor, I mean what more can you ask for! To top it all off after our wedding DJ Billy posted a time lapse of our night which was fantastic. We highly recommend him to anyone planing their most important day! I served as wedding planner for my stepson's wedding in July. Billy Zee was a great choice for DJ! An hour before the wedding, while I was running around answering questions and fetching things for the caterer, the florist, the photographer and the wedding party, Billy Zee quietly came in and set up everything for the reception and outdoor ceremony, quickly, efficiently, and completely self-contained. I had given him incorrect information about electrical outlets at the ceremony site, but he just dealt with it. I didn't have to. He also easily handled on-the-fly changes in the program. As for the music, everyone seemed to enjoy it, but I was too busy trying to keep the tablecloths from flying off the outdoor cocktail tables and the bride from flying off the handle.

DJ Billy Zee was absolutely fantastic! Like many others have said, a DJ can definitely make or break a wedding and DJ Bill absolutely made ours. I loved DJ Billy Z! He was awesome! I was the typical busy/stressed out bride the weeks before the wedding so I didn't do a lot to let him know what kind of music I liked and just trusted him to do his thing. He did not disappoint :) There were two things he did in particular that I loved, one was an altered YMCA dance that spelled my name instead. He was cracking me up because one of the letters in my name is an E and he was just like "figure it out guys" hahaha. The second one was when we started the bouquet toss, he played that trumpet thing that they play at horse races! Hilarious. He was perfectly on cue during our ceremony too where we had a lot of things out of normal that needed him to play music for. I would definitely recommend him!

DJ Billy Zee was reliable, punctual, professional, very helpful, answered all my questions, really knows how to adapt the music to what the event needs. He helped make my party the success that it was. We could not get into the facility on time as it had not been unlocked, but in spite of this glitch, he was speedy with his set-up and had the music playing and lights on to make a party atmosphere while we were still getting the room ready. He is great!!

We did not use Bill as a DJ. We used him for uplighting at our venue. Our DJ contacted him the week of the wedding to ask for assistance and he did not hesitate. He was quick to respond to emails, to answer questions, offer advice, and then on the day of the wedding he made the rooms look beautiful. Thanks!

DJ Billy Zee did an AMAZING job as DJ/MC at our wedding! His on-line even planner was super easy to use and helpful. He answers e-mails within hours as well! DJ Bill met with my husband and I the week before the wedding to polish all of the details and make sure all names were pronounced correctly. He also helped me create a timeline for the entire reception via email, which was SOOO helpful!

DJ Bill provided ceremony music and sound, cocktail hour music, and reception music/MC services. He was AMAZING and kept everything running smoothly all night. He had everything set up with lots of time to spare before the ceremony. From the reception intro song to the last dance we were dancing all night...no stop! He also played some salsa/merengue/bachata for my husband's family per our request and they loved the music selection and danced the night away!

I truly believe that a DJ can make or break the reception, and I am so glad we went with DJ Billy Zee because it was the best party I had ever been to... and absolutely perfect! You will not be disappointed!

DJ Bill was fantastic!!! I would give him 100 stars if I could! He was very flexible with our unique taste in music and was open to our suggestions and ideas for dinner music. We left the dancing music up to him, and he played some great tunes to awaken our Thursday night wedding. Dj Billy Zee was fantastic! He took all of our musical requests along with his own natural talent to keep everyone on the dance floor the entire night. He was also able to last minute make changes and add songs very quickly without any complaints. He was very professional in every manner and did a great job combining two songs for our first dance. DJ Billy Zee did a great job for our wedding at the Baltimore Museum of Industry. After having an initial in-person meeting with us, he was very helpful in helping us plan our wedding, and stayed in touch by email. He has multiple options such as a video screen, lighting, various speaker systems, etc. though we did not require them because of the nature of our venue. He has a very thorough planning form on his website which helped us and him organize the day, such as the music, dances, and toasts. For songs that we requested that he did not already have, he was happy to obtain them or use our versions, and also helped us put together a custom arrangement of the hora that we requested. About one week before the day, we spoke by phone to finalize all the details. He arrived at the venue early with plenty of time to set everything up. While we had a jazz trio for our cocktail hour and ceremony, Bill arranged the wireless microphone/speaker system for our ceremony which worked well. Also, Bill was very helpful in coordinating and setting up mics for a guitar performance by me, the groom. Overall the reception went very well and we received many compliments. We were impressed with Bill's professionalism, experience, availability and ease of interaction. While his fees were a bit higher than other DJs we had spoken with, it is completely justified by the quality he provides and we would highly recommend him.

DJ Billy Zee did a fantastic job at our wedding! We were extremely happy with everything he did - from playing the guests requests, responding to our concerns, adding lights to compliment our set up, and truly keeping the party going. I personally feel that the DJ has a huge responsibility at a reception. He can make it or break it. DJ Billy Zee most definitely made our reception. The Bar Mitzvah was great because he kids had tons of fun. BillyZ kept the kids engaged and having fun the whole night - but one of the great things about BillyZ is his responsiveness and helpfulness from the start all the way to the event. He had helpful suggestions and was just a genuinely nice guy to work with. It was very fortunate for us because the DJ we had originally planned to use, who had been recommended by a friend, moved to the other side of the country and he, in turn, recommended BillyZ. Stroke of luck - I think I'm glad the other guy moved because I don't know if he could have done better.

Billy was the absolute best! When we first inquired about his services for our wedding, he got back to us very quickly and made the whole process very easy! He was very personable, he asked a lot of questions about my wife and I to get to know us better, and incorporated personal details about us into our reception! We chose a selection of music off of his website that we definitely wanted played at our reception, and he took those songs to get to know what kind of music we liked. DJ Bill was OUTSTANDING! We actually had another DJ but he was unable to work at our wedding since he was moving out of state. Fortunately, he recommended DJ Bill as a friend and professional colleague. DJ Bill not only respected the original contract and pricing I had made with the first DJ, but he also went above and beyond in answering my questions and offering really helpful suggestions for music choices and music timing. His online questionnaire and music selection are extremely helpful, and as an extremely organized person, I really appreciated how responsive he was with emails. He called a few days before the wedding to review all of the information, final music choices, do not play lists, and pronunciation of names for my bridal party. He dressed professionally, arrived early, provided the speaker and microphone for my ceremony, and helped run the reception with my wedding coordinator. He did a great job catering to the multiple generations that were at my wedding. People were dancing all night! I am so happy with how the wedding reception turned out, and DJ Bill definitely played a huge role!

Billy Zee provided 5 hours of music and entertainment for our wedding this past month. It was incredible. I personally believe that vendors should have a clear plan and should execute that plan. The groom (me) or the bride shouldn't have to spend their night correcting little things or changing plans to make things work. I spent my entire evening answering to our day-of coordinator about each and every little detail...but not with Billy. He showed up, did exactly what he promised to do, and never waivered from our plan. He was entertaining and did everything we asked. As far as your wedding vendors, that is MORE than you could EVER hope for.

After my wedding, my husband and I were told by many people that it was the best they've ever attended. DJ Bill Ziemski played a huge role in making that happen. We knew at the first meeting that DJ Billy Zee was going to do a great job, but he exceeded all of our expectations at our reception. The cocktail hour was exactly what we wanted and set the tone we had planned for. Once the party really started, the dance floor stayed crowded for 4 straight hours. We had a large age range from 14-91 and he was able to play songs for everyone to keep them entertained and on the dance floor even my 91 year old grandmother who was dancing and that is saying a lot!!!! We utilized the wedding planner that he provided which allowed us to fill out everything online from which song we wanted for our first dance to the bouquet toss and last dance. He communicated with our other vendors so everyone had the same timeline to make sure everything would be perfect. DJ Billy Zee even called me and talked on the phone for a half hour so we could discuss details! We couldn't be happier with his energy, professionalism, and obvious pride in what he does. While wedding planning can be so stressful DJ Billy Zee made us feel at ease and choosing him to be our DJ could not have been a better decision.

Our wedding was unique because it was in a barn. Bill did an excellent job in all the planning with our daughter and her fiance .Everything, the sound system for the ceremony, the lights and music for the reception were awesome!!! DJ Billy Zee was amazing! His online planning guide was a great start and then talking to him during our phone meeting sealed all the details. My friend used Billy as her wedding DJ. My now-husband and I were so impressed with him (and with our friend's experience) that we contacted Billy for our wedding. We were not disappointed!

Billy personalized our cocktail hour and reception with songs hand-picked by us. (We loved the online planning form!) He continued to personalize the reception by playing songs dedicated to specific groups of guests.

After the wedding, my friends said, "That was the best dance party that I've ever experienced at a reception!" Billy chose songs outside of our requests that kept the dance floor full, which is exactly what we wanted in our reception.

Billy was extremely responsive to our e-mails, always replying within a day. We highly recommend Billy and understand why our good friend highly recommended him too!

DJ Bill is honest, extremely competent, professional, and very willing to be as active or as inactive as you would like him to be at your wedding! We are so lucky that he DJ'ed our wedding! Our guests all raved after the wedding about how awesome DJ Bill was!

Before the wedding, DJ Bill answered all of our questions via email almost instantly! Also, we spoke to him on the phone before our wedding and he asked us all the right questions to get a full understanding of how we wanted our wedding to feel, the vibe we wanted to set, and the music we wanted to hear, and he gave us great feedback and suggestions to make our reception flow flawlessly! And that it did! Our wedding went perfectly, thanks to DJ Bill! We gave DJ Bill a timeline of events for our reception and he made us aware of areas where we may have underestimated the time alloted so we could try to avoid delays! He was so helpful! We ended up getting 30 mins. behind because we took group pictures too long and took too long thanking each reception table, so he approached us discreetly, suggested a simple remedy to get us back on time for cake cutting before our photographers left, asked us if that would be ok, and it was a genious idea that worked flawlessly and no one would have ever known we were ever running late! :)

DJ Bill really thinks on his feet extremely well, has been doing this for a long time and really knows what he's doing! He kept all of our family and friends, young and old, on the dance floor the entire night because that's what we really wanted! Many of our guests commented to us at the end of the night and the next morning that they ended up staying much later than they anticipated because they were dancing the night away and having so much fun because the DJ played such great music that everyone appreciated! DJ Bill constantly watched our guests, and if he noticed that people weren't enjoying a particular song very much, he would seamlessly mix into another song that would get everyone on their feet and on the dance floor!

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ! He truly made our wedding night the best night of our lives and also one of the best weddings our guests have ever been to! :) THANK YOU SO MUCH, DJ BILL!!!! :)

DJ Bill was great to work with. As someone who can be somewhat controlling, I loved how organized and flexible he was. We actually decided we wanted him to do our ceremony music as well, and he was able to accommodate us with no issue. We were able to choose the music we wanted for the ceremony to set the tone for our wedding, and our guests loved it. Bill was a great help in assisting us with our choices and coordinating the day. His website was an awesome way to choose our music and set up a time line. He called me before the wedding so we could talk about the day and make sure we were on the same page. The day of the wedding, he was very professional and did a great job coordinating the day. All of my guests had an awesome night and were up dancing--even my grandma! I would recommend him to anyone, and in fact, he's doing my friend's wedding in June. Thanks DJ Billy Zee!

Bill was honestly the best DJ we have ever heard! All of our guests have given us amazing feedback on the music, his professionalism, the way the event flowed. Everyone had a great time. Bill kept us on the schedule that we had hoped for. Everyone told us how smoothly things moved along. It was fantastic. The price was equally fantastic. DJ Billy Zee is beyond a pleasure to work with. He goes the extra mile to ensure you have exactly what you want. He has an awesome site to pick your music, is always available to go over details and is such an easy person to work with. He does an amazing job in tailoring his skills to meet your dreams for your event. My caterer who has worked with 100s of DJs pulled me aside the night of my wedding to get his information as he was so fantastic. All of our guests raved about how fantastic he was! My fiance and I both preferred to have a band play at our wedding, but when we looked into the costs, it just wasn't possible. My sister found DJ Billy Z on Wedding Wire and I called him that same day. Everyone in my family who has gotten married has had a band at their wedding, but after hearing DJ Billy Z and attending our wedding, they all said they would have picked him over their band! At the beginning he played one song after the next (no breaks) and got everyone dancing. He also asks how involved you want him to be on a scale of 1-10 and we picked 4. He really stuck to it! I was really nervous about having a DJ at our wedding because my heart was set on a band but he was AMAZING. I would definitely recommend him. Everyone's still talking about him!

Billy Z did an amazing job DJing my wedding. He kept guests on the dance floor the entire night and played a variety of music that everyone enjoyed. He followed our request and don't play list to the letter and was able to roll with the punches when we had to change some things up due to timing issues with other vendors. He was highly professional and we couldn't have been more pleased with his service. Our guests raved about what a fantastic job he did. We will definitely use him for any events we have in the future and recommend Bill Z to any Bride and Groom who want a flawless wedding reception.

So easy to work with with great suggestions for music. The online planning site made planning stress free and soooo much easier and that also has a great link to most requested songs and most popular during different decades. Billy Zee did a great job getting the guests up and dancing and involved in the wedding! I would recommend him to anyone!

DJ Billy Zee was great! He kept our guest up and dancing, played great music and even had a fun game for the guest to play to see who would get the center pieces. I booked Billy Zee because I have been to 3 other weddings where he DJ-ed. Every time he has been great! Professional, upbeat, gets the crowed involved. Totally LOVED having him as part of our day!!

I would recommend DJ Billy Zee to anyone. He really knows how to get everyone on the dance floor and keep the party moving all night long. His wedding planner tools are a valuable tool and it really lets him know who you are as a couple. He even added a special picture slideshow/music video for us at the end of the reception based on how I proposed to my wife. It added a perfect ending to a perfect night for us.

The music was very important for my husband and I since we both like dancing. DJ Billy Z's website is a great tool to help with your planning and also to find and enter music that suits your taste. It allowed us to select the exact songs we wanted and we put a lot of music (which pretty much monopolized a lot of the time he had to DJ). Knowing that, he did a great job playing all our "must play" songs (which had a lot of dance, some trance, salsa, etc) and still mixing a good variety of music for all age groups to dance. For our first dance we wanted a foreign song he didn't have but he found it for us. He didn't play a single of the "do not play" songs which I appreciated.

I had a pretty good vision of how I wanted the flow of the wedding to go but hadn't fleshed out the entire event. He had good suggestions that helped me with my plan and was flexible in sticking with the timeline I wanted.

During the wedding he said he was excited about our music selection, and seemed to be having fun which is always nice to see. :)

DJ Billy Zee is awesome!! I was very particular on the type of music I wanted for my cocktail hour, dinner and dance and he did a great job of making sure I got what I wanted. I gave him a few examples of songs that I liked and didn’t like and he created an amazing playlist that had my guests on the dance floor from the first song to the last. If I could do my wedding all over again (and I wish I could) I would definitely go with Billy Zee!!

If you're looking for a professional DJ who thinks outside of the box, then give Bill a call. He was wonderful to work with for our wedding reception and even did a little extra video work behind the scenes which not only surprised us, but really was quite touching. We highly recommend him.

Billy Zee has a way about him that sets him apart from any other vendor I dealt with for my wedding - hard to describe, other than that he truly shares in the joy you're feeling and exudes that for everyone to see. To this day (4 years after my wedding), my guests regularly tell me what a wonderful time they had, and I know it is because Billy Zee was so entertaining. Not only that, but he made the preparation SO easy and FUN, and yet he was completely professional and classy. If you want your guests to have a good time, you MUST get Billy Zee, then just let him take care of it because he is more than capable. I truly will never forget him, and will always be grateful for his participation in my wedding. He's the absolute cream of the crop as a DJ, and a really wonderful person to boot.

DJ Billy Zee was phenomenal. He was organized, responsive and professional. We felt totally comfortable letting him run the show and he did so flawlessly. He incorporated the music we asked for and also was thorough in gathering information from us to be able to speak knoweldgeably about my husband and I, how we met and who the key players in the wedding party were. He was present but not intrusive and got up on the dance floor with some people who were struggling with the electric slide! A total Winner. I can recommend his services without hesitation!!!

My wife and I went back and forth trying to decide if we should get a DJ or not. Eventually, we decided to go with DJ Bill because his cost was only about twice what renting the equipment would be ourselves, and because he had great reviews on here. We could not have been more pleased with how everything turned out. He arrived early and played while people were coming in early. His setup looked very professional. Everyone was dancing the entire night (even my wife and myself, who hate dancing), and he coordinated the reception perfectly. We got so many requests for his information afterwards. DJ Bill - you're wonderful, and people would be crazy to go with anyone else!!

He provided a thorough questionaire that asked detailed and relevant questions so he would know our wants and likes. Was very easy to work with. Our event was a casual, outdoor wedding and I was very pleased with the set-up. As a matter of fact, when he arrived he had some good suggestions about his set up, and overall I was very please. Price wise, he was middle of the road, and I was happy with that for the ease of working with him. He is obviously experienced and professional.

Billy Z did an outstanding job at our daughters wedding! He listened and honored the requested music, playing appropriate dinner music and once dinner was over, the party began! Everyone that was able was up and dancing! Everyone commented that they never saw a bride have so much fun dancing at her own wedding!
