Exceeded Expectations! Great Job at Our Wedding
Jonny and the band were fantastic at our wedding! They showed amazing versatility and happily accommodated all our song requests. Jonny handled everything from our ceremony music to an acoustic set, and later, a full-band electric set for the reception. He played the slow, heartfelt songs beautifully and effortlessly shifted to upbeat tunes that kept the energy high as the night went on. His rendition of Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide" was unforgettable—I even asked him to record it so I can enjoy it again!

Jonny Mogambo and his band rock!
Jonny and his band were incredible and extremely professional. We had Jon play a solo acoustic set during our ceremony and cocktail hour which was awesome. Then we had him and four other of his bandmates play during the reception and they were fantastic. We hand picked a bunch of songs from his list and they performed them and got the party rocking! They took the time to learn a song for our ceremony and our first dance and I really couldn't recommend them enough. Everybody was shocked at how well they played and the energy they brought to the show, we kept getting asked where we found these guys. Thank you so much Jonny, you guys made our big day that much more exciting and memorable! You guys rock -

John Lindner and the Johnny Mogombo band were the best addition to our wedding and I can't imagine the same outcome without them. They were amazing!
John Lindner and the Johnny Mogombo band was the piece that our wedding needed. Guests are still talking about how amazing the music, energy and dancing was. My husband wanted a live band and now I can't imagine the event without it. Thanks for keeping everyone on the dance floor and bringing the energy that we needed. It was the most amazing day of my life and the band was a huge part of it. Thank you so much for providing us just what we needed from the ceremony to the last dance. I can't recommend this band enough. There are options that fit every budget and wedding vision. -

Electric energy & outstanding talent!
Jonny and All Occasions Music absolutely ROCKED our wedding! The energy they brought was off the charts - from the moment they started playing until the very last song. They had this amazing ability to get everyone (and I mean everyone!) up and dancing.
These guys (and gal) kept the party vibes going all night long. They knew exactly when to play those high-energy dance hits and when to mix in those crowd-favorite sing-alongs that had our guests belting out the lyrics together. Their enthusiasm was totally infectious - I lost count of how many guests came up to us raving about how much fun the band was!
We had Jonny play an acoustic set during our ceremony as well, which he knocked out of the park - many folks commented that they loved his passion and really enjoyed watching him play.
The whole experience with them was super smooth. They were great with staying in touch before the big day, had a huge library of cross-genre hits to help us develop a set list, and nailed all our special song requests. And on our wedding day, they showed up on time, with all the equipment they needed, and executed perfectly!
Without a doubt, the band was one of the highlights of our entire wedding. If you want a band that will transform your reception into an unforgettable party, these are your people! Thanks again!!! -

Crested Butte Wedding
We could not have asked for a better wedding band! A friend used them for their wedding and recommended them to us. From the start Jonny was easy to communicate with, super responsive, and fun! He guaranteed us that the party wouldn't stop with them as our band and he was correct! Our guests still talk about the wedding party that we had and we attribute much of the fun environment to Jonny's ability to work and entertain a crowd! They traveled from Vail to Crested Butte for our wedding so I would suggest that anyone getting married anywhere on the Western Slope reach out to them. -

Awesome Wedding Experience with All Occasions!
We had All Occasions Band at our wedding this past month. It was an all around great experience. From our initial reach out, we had heard back from Jon so quickly, and he continued to be extremely accommodating throughout the planning process. During cocktail hour we had Jon on the acoustic guitar paired with singing, which definitely was a hit and made the ambiance for our guests. After dinner, we had the 4 piece band played which was amazing! They kicked off the party and contributed so much to all the fun throughout the evening. Couldn't recommend them more! -

This is the 2nd Wedding The Jonny Mogambo band has done for our family. As expected they absolutely energized the crowd and put on a phenomenal performance. The dance floor was packed from 8pm-11pm and everyone had a blast. In the days and weeks that have passed since the reception the common question is where did you find that band because they were outstanding. Thanks Jon and band you guys made a good wedding exceptional!! -

Incredible Performance
Jon and the band put on an unbelievable concert at our wedding. Jon was our point contact and was a pleasure/ease to work with leading up to our wedding. Jon and the band took the time to learn our first dance as well as father/daughter and mother/son dances. It is rare to see a dance floor completely full of attendees until the venue shuts it down for the evening. Along with our family & friends, we were blown away. Could not recommend Jon and all occasions enough!!! -

Best band for any kind of wedding in Colorado.
We just celebrated our daughter's wedding, over the weekend, in Telluride, CO.
Before hiring Jonny and All Occasions Music for our reception band we evaluated many bands and their managers all over the Southwest. Without a doubt, Jonny "Mogambo" was the most communicative, friendliest, and helpful band we spoke with and, lucky for us, they were located not far from us in Vail.
I did my homework and spoke with several of his references and they all said the same thing. "We couldn't be more happy that we chose Jonny Mogambo and All Occasions Music for our wedding reception band.
We wanted to prioritize a fun wedding band with a range of instruments (certainly including horns) that would keep everyone on the dance floor all night. We were not looking for a polished wedding band going through the motions. Jonny absolutely delivered playing great music with a huge smile on his face. Everyone danced even my daughter (the bride) who doesn't even like to dance!
It's only been 4 days since our wedding but what we keep hearing about the entire wedding weekend is HOW MUCH FUN THE BAND WAS! Im obviously biased, but I do think they were the most fun wedding band.
Before ending this review I would be remiss if I didn't mention the highlight of the evening. My daughter's youngest brother, 18 years old, really wanted to sing a song for the newly weds. We had discussed it with Jonny weeks prior but night of our son got cold feet. Jonny was so kind, knowing our son would be sad if he missed this opportunity to serenade the newly weds, he encouraged him to get on stage and sing Fly Me to the Moon. Jonny even worked with our son to incorporate a line dance with the groomsmen and an opportunity for a short dance with the bride in the middle of the song. To say the least it was the hit of the night and our son-n-law said it was his highlight moment of the reception.
In short, Jonny and the band are great musicians who have been playing together and touring for years and they know how to ensure everyone has a great time. They know how important the wedding day is to the couple getting married and they do their best to go above and beyond to make sure the day is special.

Son’s wedding in Vail early Nov 2019
Jonny is very talented and loves his work! We hired him to play Solo for the wedding and “Happy Hour” (At the Sonnenalp in Vail). Then as the DJ at the reception. He is easy to work with. He exceeded our expectations. -

What a night!
The Jonny Mogambo Band delivered the perfect experience for our wedding and our guests. We told Jonny, "we want to dance," and Jonny said, "say no more!" Song after song the dance floor was packed and by the end of the night everyone was buzzing. Jonny was incredibly accommodating. He coordinated with his saxophone player to play our ceremony, which was beautiful, and he ran all the audio for the ceremony, which was pivotal. All in all, he and his bed made the night incredibly memorable. What's a great wedding without THE greatest band? Thanks, Jonny! -

BEST wedding band we could have asked for!!
Jon was super delightful to work with from the very beginning!! Having a live band as our entertainment was one of our top priorities since music is a huge part of my now husband and i’s relationship. I drove to vail from Denver to hear Jon play live, and he blew me away!! He is extremely talented even just by himself, I couldn’t imagine how incredible him with a crew would be! He is very personable and made it memorable for all my friends and family from different states. They learned “living on a prayer” for all the jersey folks that were raised on bon jovi, and played devil went down to Georgia for all the Southern folks there from GA! They kept everyone dancing even at 11k elevation! The ceremony was perfect with Jon singing and playing acoustic - Rocky Mountain high, here comes the sun, wildflowers, AND he learned “kiss me” by sixpence none the richer for us as our exit song that my husband learned to play for me on one of our first dates. Just ask and you shall receive!!! All occasions music exceeded all our expectations and we are recommending them to everyone we know getting married in Colorado! -

Jon and his band played our wedding in Telluride this past summer and were absolutely incredible!
The dance floor was packed the entire night. They truly have an ability to read and play to the crowd (including folks of all ages), our guests were amazed by their talent. It's obvious Jon and his entire band really enjoy what they do - from Jon's MC and lead vocals, to their diverse repertoire, and the instrumental solos - particularly the saxophone, wow wow! These guys rock.
Jon was also incredibly responsive and accommodating during the planning process. I would highly recommend the Jonny Mogambo band for your special day! -

Best Wedding Band!
If you are looking for an amazing, energetic, talented and unforgettable band for your wedding....look no further....and book Jonny Mogambo Band!!! From the beautiful acoustic music played during the ceremony and cocktail hour to the ROCKIN' party with the full band for the reception, they were unbelievable! They had EVERYONE of all ages on the dance floor the entire night with songs ranging from classic rock to pop to even rap covers (they played a classic rock version of Gin and Juice which made the bride VERY happy)! We have had so many friends and family members tell us it was the best wedding band they have ever heard, and had several future Colorado bride and grooms asking us for their information! On top of throwing a great party, Jon was incredibly responsive and easy to work with during the entire planning process. We could not recommend Jon and the Jonny Mogambo Band more, we are forever grateful that we chose them as the band for our special day!!! -

Amazing Band!
We found Jonny Mogambo and were so excited he was local to Vail. We were able to see him play at a local bar while we were up for our engagement photos and tasting. He had such a way with the crowd! We knew we had found our band and are so glad we did. Our wedding turned into such a dance party, our only regret was that it didn't go later! We still regularly have people tell us that it was the best band/energy they've seen at a wedding. Jonny, thanks for creating the vibe I dreamed of and setting up some of my favorite dance photos!

Jonny Montgambo absolutely MADE my wedding! Jonny Mogambo and the rest of the band absolutely rocked our wedding! I can't say enough good things about them. They helped us with audio for our ceremony, provided an acoustic set for the cocktail hour, and then helped us tear up the dance floor after dinner. They have a great set-list and will work with you to get the vibe you want for your wedding. They also really know how to play the room and keep the party going. Our wedding guests still talk about how great the band was and how much fun they had. Hire this band. -

Jonny was absolutely fantastic! He is super talented and easy to work with and I would 100% recommend him to anyone. He really made the party entertaining and flow smoothly. He has a great voice, is a great guitarist and knows a ton of songs (also willing to learn things if you have specific requests). He is a fun guy and our guests have all complimented how great he was. He was also flexible with last minute requests we had. Music is really important to me and my husband and I couldn't be happier with our choice to have him be a very important part of our big day! -

10/10. Amazing band! Felt like we were at a concert during the wedding. Everyone immediately got up and started dancing to kick off the night. The guitar solos, bass, drums, and sax were absolutely amazing - each played solos and were jammin hard the whole time. Played a good mix of new and old songs. In retrospect we actually felt like we didn't even need any other activities during the wedding because everyone just spent the whole time dancing. Jonny also played for the ceremony and cocktail hour which I highly recommend. Would recommend them again and again and worth every penny! -

Hiring Jonny Mogambo to perform at our Wedding Partly was the best choice. Without Jonny it would have been an average party. Many of your guests commented that it was the best Wedding Party they have ever attended! He had kids from 10 years old up to adults 70+ years old, out on the dance floor. -

Jonny and his band were awesome! They really made our party memorable. We had so much fun! Everyone was dancing and they understood what the crowd wanted and delivered. Several guests told us it was the best band they've ever heard at a wedding. My husband and I got married on 8/23/15 at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO. Jon and his band were outrageously good! They played a variety of great music and sounded so wonderful! They got everyone on the dance floor and provided amazing entertainment for the whole night! Jonny is awesome! He played everything from Vivaldi to Snoop Dogg. He is an incredible talent and knows how to get the party moving. Everyone had a great time. In fact, we brought Jonny down to Denver to play a private party a few weeks ago. Again, he "owned" the party and everyone that had not seen him at the wedding were thoroughly impressed. -

I could not be more pleased with my decision to hire Jonny and his band for my wedding. They played the music during our ceremony, the first dances (specific songs that we requested), and the reception. All were very well done and sounded great. I could not have asked for a better band to play at our wedding. The Jonny Mogambo Band played beautifully at our ceremony and kept our guests dancing all night! This is one of the most talented and unique groups I have ever hired. True pros that can play any style of music and made our event one to remember! By far and away one of the best most danceable rhythm sections I've EVER heard.

Jonny and the Band were flat out awesome! If you want a unique and memorable wedding reception experience then I recommend booking them. Great rock covers, fun original music and they take care of all of the PA. It is 100% better than a DJ or traditional wedding band. Book em! -

Jonny and the boys blew us all away. From the first phone call to the final song we convinced them to play...even though we were well past last call. Jonny made our wedding barn party a complete success. He was extremely flexible and easy to work with, and even moved his equipment mid-set to accommodate an approaching storm. We had Johnny Magombo's 8-piece band with full horn section for our October 2009 wedding. They were AWESOME! Our friends still talk about them, seven months later. Johnny is very talented, a true entertainer. At breakfast the morning after, at the hotel where we had the reception, the restaurant manager told us that staff would come upstairs the night before talking about what a great party was going on downstairs. -

We hired Jon to play acoustic for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, then DJ at the reception. Also, we hired a violinist through him for the ceremony to have more traditional sound. The violinist cost more money but absolutely worth it.
Jon is very talented & has an obvious passion for music! We live outside Colorado; as a result, we heard Jon play for the first time at the wedding. Amazing! We were so pleased & excited for our guests. The ceremony music was beautiful! Cocktail hour was great & engaging. At the reception, the music brought people to the dance floor the entire night--which we definitely didn't expect with our group. Also, he did introductions & all that as well. The compliments received about the music have been numerous! I can't recommend Jon enough.

The band was one of the highlights of our wedding - they did a great job of reading the room and understanding what to play based on the vibe. Everyone had a blast at the reception. He even let one of the guests sing a couple songs (with our permission). These guys did a great job with very little direction from us, which was a welcome change from our other vendors.
Jonny also played our ceremony solo on acoustic guitar and did a great job. He had a long list of suggested songs, and even learned one we specifically requested for the processional. He was flexible when we asked if he could perform without an amp so we didn't have to run an extension cord out to the field, which was a huge help with all the other things we were worried about.
Finally, there was a third area set up for the dinner reception, which he got set up with a separate PA so we could have music and speeches. He DJ'ed for dinner which, again, was done very well to fit the vibe without any real direction from us.
Overall these guys were great and the cost was very reasonable for what we got from them. Would definitely recommend them for any party. -

The Jonny Mogambo Band was the perfect band to play at our wedding!! We were really focused on finding a great band that wasn't cheezy and we hit the jackpot. They had everyone dancing the entire time - our photographers have plenty of crazy pics to prove it! Jonny also played solo acoustic guitar at our ceremony and he did a great job. I just wanted to thank you and your band for a rockin night of music at Michelle and Scott's Copper Wedding. I heard nothing but compliments all night long from our guests. They really enjoyed the music, and many said you did a rockin solo during the hors d'oeuvres and open bar hours before dinner. Many were amazed at your talent as a solo artist. And the band rocked without disappointment. I was told I did good picking you guys. And this was from an audience filled with many with a musical background.

If you want your reception rocking and your guests on the dance floor all night, then you want the 8 piece All Occasions Band. My wife and I, as well as our guests and families, could not have asked for a more perfect wedding band, as we wanted the party rocking and dance floor full all night long, and it certainly was! Jonny let my wife's uncle on stage to sing, was engaging the crowd, and kept the party going. We had a few specific requests, and he was able to accommodate 95% of them. Jonny can be a bit hard to get in touch with at times, as he seems to be constantly on the move and performing, but we still give him 5 stars for the performance, experience, and ambiance. -
