Professional and easy to work with

Ray was a delight to work with. My wife and I were in separate cities, and Ray met with us on zoom on multiple occasions to iron out the details. What really struck my wife and me that Ray was the right choice was during our initial consult when Ray had a complete set of questions and outlines of his services and how he provides them. We were convinced that he knew his craft, and he went above and beyond in execution. He offered options to select certain songs and artists, while also rejecting certain songs and artists. He also spliced together different parts of a song for my wife and her father to walk down the aisle to and it was seamless. Given the crush of wedding tasks, my wife and I didn’t even quite finish his questionnaire, yet Ray was easily able to work with what we had. Ray communicated well leading up to the wedding and during the wedding itself. We would work with Ray again 100% and would recommend him to anyone. Ray, thanks so much for making our special day that much more special.

Best dj ever!

DJ Ray was everything that we could have asked for to help make our wedding wonderful and the best NYE party! The planning meetings are so reassuring and helpful. We got married at a new venue, and he took the time to visit it ahead of time to make sure he was fully prepared for our big day. I was very particular about my songs/timing for the ceremony, and he nailed it. He played the songs that we requested and made the reception a huge dance party all night long. He even brought a TV so that we could watch the ball drop and have a countdown to midnight. If you're looking for a DJ who is professional, detail oriented, and knows how to make your wedding a blast, look no further!

Professional, experienced, flexible, passionate - worth every penny and more!

DJ Ray was such a delight to work with! He has a very calm and professional demeanor which is much needed on our wedding day! He kept the party going the whole day and we had many compliments about the music and our DJ. He helped move along the day and dealt with any chaos in the timeline with ease and flexibility. He was absolutely great as an MC with his timing and what to say and played great music to keep everyone dancing and happy! He’s also very organized and has an online portal to make your music choices and event timeline planning very simple. He’s always available to call and went out of his way to plan our uplighting at our rehearsal, make a special playlist for us, and coordinate our entrance timing. He even sent us audio files of any big speeches from our day too, which shows how much he cares for what he does and his clients! He truly went above and beyond to make our day special! We recommend DJ Ray to anyone and everyone looking for an awesome DJ. He is truly worth it and we thank him for making our day so wonderful!

DJ Ray - Perfect Wedding Experience

It's never an easy decision to select a DJ for your special event but DJ Ray made it easy. He was professional and prepared. He is experienced and reasonably priced. He made our special wedding day even more special. I would use him again for any event that I have in the future.

DJ Ray is great!

DJ Ray was great! He had never been to our venue before, so he came a week before the wedding and worked out a plan with us so we knew where all his speakers would be going, etc. He was very professional, played all the music we requested, and everyone had a good time dancing! His system for gathering the information about your bridal party, song requests, dance times, etc. is really easy and efficient. I would recommend DJ Ray to anyone looking for a wedding DJ!

The most amazing Dj and wedding officiant

I could not recommend Ray enough. Not only was he a fantastic DJ, he stepped in when we couldn't find an officiant. He was responsive, caring, and helpful. When our tent started blowing over, he used his audio stand to hold it up. He knows what he's doing and made the day go so smooth.

Attentive, knowledgeable, professional, and fun!

DJ Ray did everything to make my wedding day a huge success. From coming to the rehearsal to scope out the venue and practice the ceremony music, to organizing the order of events and helping my sister plan the most epic speech, he made the day run so smoothly and everyone had so much fun! Ray offers trivia during cocktail hour and was so flexible when our pictures took longer than expected. I would recommend DJ Ray for any event where you need a professional, attentive, and seasoned DJ!

Life of the Party

Ray was great to work with from the very initial planning, to all the way after the wedding. He did an excellent job with feeling out the vibe of the dance floor and kept people dancing all night. He also caught some great footage on video from the last song, which was appreciated as our videographers were gone by that point. What suprised me most, was Ray taking the time to attend our rehearsal!

Fantastic DJ!

We had the pleasure of working with DJ Ray for our October wedding, & he exceeded our expectations! Our guests were on the dance floor all night, & loved the energetic atmosphere that he provided. He assisted us immensely in our wedding planning process, meeting with us multiple times & answering all of our questions. Center for the attention you need

DJ Ray was one of the best decisions I made for our wedding. He was most accommodating for anything we asked for. Very "on point" and always was there for anything we needed or wanted. We had a "hiccup" in our wedding and he was there to help us pick up the pieces when we needed it. Gathered the crowd had such a great time. Winder Wedding

We chose DJ Ray because he was referred to us by our venue. Our wedding was set for September, but our venue had a water line break and shut down. DJ Ray was so understanding and flexible enough to switch to a new date in October. He met with us twice in our home to discuss every detail of our wedding and he answered countless questions via email and phone. He was always very quick to answer. His website made planning our timeline a breeze and we were even able to select music we wanted and didn’t want played. We absolutely loved having him be a part of our day and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ!!

DJ came highly recommended from a friend and I’m so thrilled we listened! Our experience was fun energetic and absolutely a blast

DJ Ray put in a tremendous of effort to make sure that our reception was a night to cherish forever. He put together a timeline together for us which helped us to stay on schedule with pictures, dinner, special dances etc. The timeline took some of the pressure off of us to know what was going on and when. DJ Ray was absolutely AMAZING!! I wouldn't recommend anyone else to take such great care of your big day than him! He made our reception just flow so wonderfully! It couldn't have been a better experience having Ray DJ, set up back lighting, and run the photo booth at our wedding. Hands down, over the top, exceeding expectations. Ray went above and beyond personalizing and paying attention to every detail. Our wedding would definitely not have been the same without him.

DJ Ray did an amazing job at our wedding!!! We were pulled in so many different directions so it was easy to get off track. He did a great job making sure we stayed on schedule....even though I bet he felt like he was herding cats.

Some of the things we liked:
1. He helped us build the schedule of events and gave us a ton of ideas while not being pushy with ideas.
2. We had the wedding on our family's farm and he didn't miss a beat with the less than normal venue, even when dealing with rain.
3. He has state of the art equipment.
4. Very professional and respectful to our guests. We got a lot of compliments on DJ Ray.
5. Was always on time for our meetings, and early the day of the event.
6. Worked well with the other vendors.
7. Dressed very professionally
8. Has resources in place so if something happened to him we were still covered - fortunately nothing happened, but it is nice to have that piece of mind.
9. Price - we talked to a lot of DJs from all over the area and he was by far the most reasonable for what you receive. I feel we paid middle of the road prices and got high end value. I you are from a larger city, don't be afraid to book a DJ from New Castle. I have been to a lot of weddings all over the world and he was the best.

Ultimately we feel like we hit a home run by using Ray. He really took a lot of the anxiety out of the planning and the wedding day. If you end up choosing Ray for your wedding you won't be disappointed.

DJ Ray Kohnen was amazing! I didn't have to worry about a single thing with him there. All of our guests enjoyed the music he played and the lighting he had set up. Working with Ray was amazing!! He took the time to meet with me and mom and truly listened to what we wanted. We got so many compliments about what a great job he did keeping everything moving. I can not begin to explain how much we loved DJ Ray!! From the very beginning of planning until the very end he was there every step of the way. He made sure the flow of the day was smooth and took the stress off of us. There are so many ideas (like the teddy bear toss) that I would have never thought of if it weren't for him. He really got to know both of us and incorporated special touches just for us. He not only provided the best variety of music for all of our guests, but also took video and pictures too! He is a jack of all trades and makes sure he doesn't miss a beat. We were absolutely thrilled with him and would recommend him over anyone else. We love you DJ Ray!!!

Ray Kohnen is simply the best choice you could ever make for a DJ. However, he is sooooo much more than a DJ. From my first contact with Ray I was completely comfortable. He is the consummate professional. He is organized. He is experienced. He has great ideas. He listens. His equipment and setup are stupendous. . He goes way beyond what you could ever expect to make your event special and unique to you. He took time to attend the rehearsal. And as if that weren't enough, he is sweet and kind. He does all of this, orchestrating and maintaining control while remaining unobtrusive. Our daughter's wedding was perfect. Much of the beautiful success of the day can be attributed to the skills of Ray Kohnen. We were beyond pleased. I would highly recommend Ray for any event and would never hesitate to use his services in the future. The Best!!!!!

DJ Ray was amazing. The initial contact with DJ ray was nothing but professional he ensured he all the songs for my wedding. he thought of every detail every song for every event. DJ ray called and made sure that the itinerary was correct weeks before the wedding but once the night of the wedding came was very flexible. He came extra early to set up and made sure his system was working properly. He informed me that he had a nail in his tire once his system was set he then had time to go get it fixed and returned early still looking sharp and prepared. I must confess i was a little overzealous with the planning ceremony ,pictures,first dances, toast, bouquet toss cake cutting and more all with in the first 2 hours. once pictures were done he told us to take a break, i did not even think of that was possible for me until he suggested it. Honestly it was the only 10 min i got to sit down and have 5 bits of the food. Before each thing he would walk over to the groom or myself and ensure we got ready for the next thing. he played just the right music. my mother was the only one with any real input for the music so i told him what she told me " only good dance music from 1940's to present and that is just what he did. With just with that information he kept almost all my family and friends dancing until the last minute. Ultimately he was very enjoyable , fun and flexible to work with. I am sure if you hire him you will be as satisfied as i am.

DJ Ray was always informative and on point with anything we needed. He took the time to set up numerous meetings with us to make every detail perfect. He was able to adjust to last minute requests to fit our needs. He took time to be our event planner and coordinator. READ THIS REVIEW!!!! This will not be a short review but if you are in the market for a DJ please read... So after Ray provided entertainment for my brothers wedding over 3 yrs ago I knew when it was my turn to take the plunge exactly who I wanted to be my DJ. From the time I booked him up until the big day he made it so easy it was one less thing I had to stress over when it came crunch time. From his professional website that collects all the information needed for him to provide the best entertainment, to coordinating the evening out to accomadate even the most difficult bride, to the execution. Flawless! I could not say enough about how great of a job he did. Was there when you needed him but not pushy ordering you around. Vary flexible if you had an idea for somthing or decided to skip somthing you planned, no problem he would do whatever it took to not waste your time and make it your evening. (I also recommend you spring for the up lighting totally transformed the already beautiful hall made it look amazing.) Honestly I'm totally into music and thought I should come up with entire playlist. He could prob show up with just the first dance song and nailed the rest on his own. He even mic'd up the officiate and played the ceremony also perfect but let's be honest it's all about the reception. I must have contacted him 5 times after the wedding to tell him what a great job he did then to tell him everyone was asking about the DJ just nothing but praises. So if your still reading this. Stop wasting time and call now and book DJ Ray! Vary affordable worth every cent once you realize all the time, work, and extra effort he puts into your wedding to make it perfect. You and your spouse will agree on one thing that you hired the right DJ. I never waste my time writing reviews but he earned this one.

I can say honestly that my wedding reception would not have been as amazing as it was if we had hired a different DJ. Ray went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect, and perfect it was. We decided to get the pink and blue uplighting and it made the hall beautiful. Ray was punctual and professional. My husband told me during wedding planning that the DJ can make or break your reception. I dont think I have to say that Ray made our reception. I cant thank him enough for everything he did for us. I would highly recommend him to anyone and will only use him for any DJ needs we may have in the future.

WoW! I do not have enough space to write all the great comments we have about Dj Ray! He was so friendly from the very first call till the very end of our reception! He was extremely helpful, extremely professional. Always made sure my husband and I were happy with things and if we had any requests or changes DJ Ray was more than willing to accommodate us! He made all our friends and family feel welcome, played appropriate music at appropriate times. (Husband really loved that instrumental versions of his fav songs playing while we were eating!) DJ Ray was always aware of what was going on and help us stick to our time frames and program and even dealt with our bus service so we didn't have too. And lastly, DJ Ray also provided our up lighting for our venue, which was exactly what we were looking for and asked for ...so a MASSIVE thank for a truly great and pleasurable service!

Amazing service and excellent quality. We planned our wedding at a distance and DJ Ray was more than helpful through out the process of planning our event. DJ Ray was great to work with. He was able to work with our price range and had so many great services included with the music. We got a lighting package and a photo booth with his company. He always responded in a timely manner and was very attentive with our meetings. When it came time for the wedding day he listened to all our requests for the type of music and night we wanted to have. We had a blast dancing all evening and all of our guests responded on how much they had. That had a lot to do with the music and the atmosphere. The blue lighting he brought really made our wedding. Our reception was more than just another gig for him. He got a feel for how we were much before the reception and enjoyed our day with us. I would recommend Ray to anyone.

DJ Ray was a fabulous part of our wedding reception. He kept things moving from one thing to the next (announcing the couple, toasts, first dance, cake, etc) so we were free to enjoy ourselves. Be certain when getting a photo booth that the assistant tells your guests about it's features and that they tell them to leave you a copy and sign your memory book. Ours was pretty empty. Otherwise as far as the DJ service it was outstanding.

As you are planning a wedding there are so many details and music is one of those important details.

When we inquired about DJ service, Ray promptly called us back to set up an appointment. My daughter, husband, son and I felt at ease the moment we first met Ray. We told him we had someone else to meet with and would let him know if we wanted his service. After he left our home, we said, his presentation was really good, we should have hired him. We called the next day to book his service.

Ray provided all the songs my daughter requested and played a great selection of music through the night which got our guests up and dancing.

Ray also emceed the entire event. As events changed through the night, Ray had everyone in place before making an announcement. There was no shouting over the microphone to get people where they needed to be. This made everything flow seamlessly.

Ray has a quiet sense of humor which added to the light and lively mood of the wedding. Our guests loved Ray's suggestion and the choice my daughter made of doing the "Shoely Wed Game" as well as the Anniversary dance - it was something they had never seen at a wedding.

Ray made our daughter's wedding an unforgettable event and we were were more than pleased with our decision.

DJ Ray handled my son's wedding reception wonderfully. His services were amazing, he was fun, professional, played the music that kept everyone young and old on the dance floor. And it wasn't just music to dance. He was entertaining. He played a fun version of the Newlywed Game that had everyone laughing and clapping.

He was also very flexible. When the reception showed no signs of slowing down and we still had time at the venue, he was happy to stay on and continue to play. For a previously negotiated per hour price he stayed on an additional hour and a half and played and partied. He was great and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ that can keep a party moving.

The reason I chose Ray over other DJ's is because he was amazingly professional and flexible. He not only served as DJ, but coordinated the entire night down to the minute exactly how I specified. He has an excellent website with online tools where you can choose your songs for each part of the night as well as the timeline for the entire night. We even had him do the music for our ceremony, and it turned out great. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing DJ to complete their wedding.

DJ Ray was Fantastic! Everything was a perfect with him from the planning all the way through the last song! Very professional, Great MC for the evening, helped moved things along with ease, and was great with helping us plan our reception as well as adding in the little things that my bride and I asked. You will be very happy if you are lucky enough to book DJ Ray/All In Entertainment!

Ray was so good at helping me coordinate my wedding not only with the music but the ceremony, line up etc. I would have been lost without him!

Dj ray was awesome, he made my day less stressful and I was able to enjoy mine and my husbands special day. Everyone at our wedding said how great he was as well. If I would do it all over there would be a few things I would change but not when it comes to the DJ. :)

Best DJ we could have asked for

Ray was a great DJ to work with. We had a tough venue for him to work in and he made the night flawless. We got married in a barn setting down in the bottom of a valley with no service. Many DJs turned us away, but Ray is a professional who constantly downloads new music to his collection. It was amazing being able to request songs. He has it all. Great personality. Goes with the flow. Stress free. Great guy! I wouldn’t recommend anyone else.

I only had DJ Ray for the photo booth. The 2 gentlemen he sent were very professional and fun. They made sure everyone had a good time and got in the photo booth. They had plenty of silly and cool props. I really liked our scrap book at the end of the night. Everyone took their souvenir photo strip home and placed a second copy in our scrapbook with a nice message to us(the bride and groom). The book is displayed on our coffee table and a very unique conversation piece. It was a hit! The option to record a 30 second video was cool too. I just wish more of our guests would of used that option. Good luck in party planning!
