  Cheryl was the officiant for my wedding on 3/6. She was so down to earth and easy going, made us feel comfortable, kept the crowd engaged and her choice of words and readings were heart felt. I would definitely recommend her!

  Officiant was very professional

  Cheryl Johnson was lovely. She met with me a month or 2 before the wedding to answer a few questions via FaceTime. She arrived at the venue an hour before it started and we went over how to pronounce my name and she didn’t mess it up. She has good energy and was very funny. Her delivery was amazing. I was very pleased and highly recommend her

Washington Mill Dye House, but because of COVID-19 we decided to have a small ceremony instead and postpone the party for next year. Cheryl was very flexible and even helped us come up with a location for the small ceremony! Absolutely 5/5 stars.

  We were so anxious about getting married during the Covid pandemic, however Cheryl really lived up to her brand, Embracing Ministries. She embraced my wife and I and created a beautiful script for our big day. She was timely, organized, relatable and professional. We are a LGBT couple, however highly recommend her for all couples.

I originally was going to say my own little vow but was extremely nervous before the ceremony and she offered at the last minute to say the vows for me and just work it into her readings. I was incredibly thankful! Our ceremony ended up being a little late and she was very patient and understanding. All of my guest kept telling me how beautiful and touching the ceremony was and it was all thanks to her!

  We had a non-traditional wedding on a hiking trail. Since neither of us practice any religion, Cheryl was perfect for the job. She tailored her speech based on our needs and beliefs, and was nothing but perfect. We had to change the time a couple of times due to weather/lighting condition, and she was very flexible and understanding. I'm so happy that we had her be a part of our "best day ever", and I highly recommend her for yours too!

  Cheryl was our hero that saved the day! We had an officiant in mind that fell through and then proceeded to book a second officiant who also didn't work out. we were ready to just go to the JOP the morning of and ,my mother-in-law recommended an app to look on where we found Cheryl. We contacted Cheryl to ask her a few question on the process and she was very warm and professional. Explained it was a very simple process, where she emails us a questionnaire a few days before the ceremony and we are good to go. On the day of Cheryl was beyond our expectations! She was lovable, intuitive(made joke with us), and spoke about us as if she knew us for YEARS! may of our guest told us how impressed they were by the officiant and all I could think was "wow we just met her online a few weeks ago". Cheryl not only completed our day and made it exactly how I imagined it but fit my concept of an all black women vendor team!! my husband and I are very pleased and would recommend her.
