Highly Recommend!!!

We loved working with the staff at AVCC for our wedding reception! Our event in April went absolutely perfectly, and our guests were extremely complimentary of the food, drinks, service and venue.

Our coordinator Mackenzie was a dream to work with - extremely communicative and helpful throughout the process. She worked hard to accommodate some of our unique requests - using our champagne bucket to chill drinks, procuring mini diet coke cans to be tray passed during cocktail hour, and more. She worked closely with our event coordinator in developing the schedule and flow of the evening, and everything went according to plan.

The event staff, servers and bartenders were all excellent. Our guests were well attended to, and servers/staff continually checked on myself and my husband to make sure we were drinking water, had enough to eat, and always had a drink in our hands! Everyone stuck to the anticipated schedule and was extremely helpful.

Food was delicious, and much better than your standard wedding vendor catering. We really enjoyed our menu tasting appointment, where the chef made full portions of the entrees we selected. The appetizer display was really beautiful too, and it was great to see what everything was going to look like too. We did two signature cocktails that our guests really enjoyed as well, and looked beautiful too. Pricing was extremely fair for the level of service and quality of food/drinks prepared!

Our vendors had about 30 - 40 minutes to sit down and enjoy their sandwiches, salads and some sodas - they all said the meal was great and appreciated the opportunity to take a quick break. All of the amenities were clean the whole time we were at AVCC, including the bathrooms.

Would highly recommend AVCC to anyone looking for a wedding venue locally! We had a great time, and thoroughly enjoyed our special day!!! Thank you Mackenzie!

Wedding Venue

We had our wedding at the Country Club and we could not recommend it more. Mackenzie & Claire made sure that everything ran smoothly and all of our requests were met. They made sure we had scheduled meetings to go over our list of things we wanted and did not want. They made sure all our vendors and guests knew where to go for the day of the wedding so no one was lost. The food was absolutely incredible as well as the incredible views. We absolutely recommend picking this as a wedding venue as all your wishes and requests will come true here.

Great Local Venue!

We had a great time utilizing AVCC as our venue and as a bride planning multiple moving pieces, it was relaxing to know AVCC would handle most of our wedding needs. Their inclusive packages gave us direction but also allowed for variety. Jordyn and her team were great to work with and flexible with my suggestions/ideas for how I wanted to utilize the space. The team is organized and incredibly friendly! They were also able to adjust quickly and help move the reception indoors when it started to rain that evening! We used the 10th tee for our Ceremony and the lawn for our reception, which gave our guests plenty of space to mingle during cocktail hour. Overall it’s a great venue, with plenty of parking and space to work with and my final comment will have to be about the food: we heard so many comments after the weddings about how amazing the food was! And it truly was delicious! Their chef on site is fantastic and I am very happy to know that none of our guests went home hungry :)

Definitely check out this venue!

Aliso Viejo Country Club has great views to have an elegant wedding ceremony and reception. The wedding packages that they offer are simple. The wedding event director and coordinator, Kira and Carrie, and their team are just amazing. They were so easy to work with, and we had a great time working with them throughout the entire process. I provided many of my own reception decors, and they made my reception exactly the way that I wanted to look. We would highly recommend this venue for wedding and special events!

Amazing venue

I got married here on April 7, 2019 and the venue is amazing. The food is fantastic, the venue is beautiful with gorgeous views and Carrie, the event coordinator could not have been anymore perfect! We got so many compliments on how delicious the food was and how beautiful the venue was. I am so happy we picked AVCC as our venue.

Great Experience!

I went to see this vendor and Carrie assisted me with my tour and was extremely helpful. She made touring the place extremely pleasant and gave me ideas on how to budget. This is a beautiful venue!

Best Value and Experience in Orange County

We loved the Aliso Viejo Country Club! Their team was so responsive and answered all of our questions right away. If something ever came up, they always had a solution. Unfortunately, our top layer of the cake was thrown out, but they quickly reached out to our vendor to make a new one for our first year anniversary. They were so easy to work with and did everything they could to make our dream wedding possible! Everyone was so accommodating and friendly!

Beautiful venue with a great staff

Aliso Viejo Country Club quickly became our top pick of a tight list for our wedding venue based on location, view, service and price. Our events coordinator, Carrie Roberson was extremely responsive and accommodating to our needs from the days leading to and the day of our wedding.

My wife and I, are extremely grateful for Aliso Viejo Country Club (AVCC), Chantal Mitchell, and Carrie. We had our wedding at AVCC and it was perfect. Unbelievable. Our guests described our wedding as breathtaking, perfect, and mistake free. That wouldn’t have been possible without Chantal, who is one of the smartest, kindest, detail oriented, patient, and professional people that we have ever met. She cared about our big day as if it were her own and we were truly touched. Chantal also has that Midwestern charm and hospitality, which was great because she put up with me being extremely difficult at times by being really nice and patient. It made me feel really guilty afterwards.

Chantal was very responsive, made sure to cover every detail, met with us on multiple occasions, answered every question, and made sure that the day went smoothly. For example, when my wife’s veil got caught on the walkway, Chantal ran in and helped her put it back on. When I started wandering around, Chantal was there to make sure I was back at the head table to stick to the timeline. When the groomsmen’s boutonnière was pinned incorrectly, she pinned them all perfectly before the wedding ceremony. When one guest couldn’t make it, and one arrived unexpectedly, she accommodated that as well. These are just a few examples of Chantal going the extra mile for us.

We didn’t have a wedding coordinator and we didn’t need one because of Chantal. She asked for every vendor’s contact information, and coordinated everything with them. Everything was on time and where it should’ve been. She even had small surprises and upgrades for us that were extremely thoughtful. If you’re looking for a beautiful wedding venue, world class service, and amazing staff, try AVCC. You won’t be disappointed.

Aliso Viejo Country Club was the perfect place to hold our wedding. Marley and Jordan, the wedding coordinators at the club, were awesome! They were so attentive to mine and my husband's needs, and worked with us on getting everything we wanted.

**A special thank you to Marley for her patience and positive attitude. We changed our wedding date, but Marley went above and beyond. She never say no to us and we really appreciate that! :)

The facilities are absolutely breathtaking and everything was beautiful and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Many guests told us that it was one of the best wedding they had ever been to and the food was delicious. I highly recommend Aliso Viejo Country Club for your wedding. You won't be disappointed!

My husband is the one who found our wedding venue and I instantly fell in love with it after seeing it. The location alone is beautiful, but what really set it apart from the rest was the wedding services, and Marley, our wedding coordinator. She was so pleasant to work with! Not to mention, organized and accommodating and SO patient when it came to answering all the questions from the wedding party durning our rehearsal. The day of our wedding ran so smoothly and seamlessly, we are just so grateful to have worked with her and her team. We would definitely recommend the Aliso Viejo Country Club as a venue, the staff, location, and services are all amazing. :)

Coming up on our 1-year anniversary has made me think about our vendors.
The facility was beautiful, clean and well presented for our guests and event. The coordinator helped make sure that our guests knew where to go and that other things happening at the Club did not interfere with our event. Everything was set up perfectly according to contract and the food was good quality.
Special mention for the exceptional service from Marley Sansom (Elliott). She really helped us explore choices so that we would be happy with our decisions and when we had a problem with a different vendor (not related to the Club at all), she was on the phone, 10pm the night before the event, trying to help us find alternative solutions. There was no financial requirement or benefit to the Club for her extra effort, but it did not stop her from doing everything possible, on her personal time, to make sure that our special day remained special.
I would recommend the Club to any friend or family. Beautiful, professional, friendly, and amazing service.

Aliso Viejo Country Club is the place for your dream wedding to become a reality. My now husband and I were looking for a venue that would create a classy, romantic feel, and that's exactly what we got. Our December reception was gorgeous as the sun set and the fireplace was lit. The entire staff was beyond helpful and at no time did we feel lost in the planning process. Marley, our amazing coordinator, walked us through everything and she always got back to us in a timely manner. If you want to have a stress free wedding day where you actually get to enjoy your wedding (and really, who doesnt), Aliso Viejo Country Club is the venue for you.

Our wedding at Aliso Viejo Country Club is incredible! We are happy with the choice we made hosting our wedding there. The event director Marley is so sweet and she accommodated our needs. We had our ceremony on the 10th tee and the view of the open ground and lake is unbelievable. The atmosphere of the club is great and we likes this place even better after each visit and even seriously think about joining the club. The food and service are also great. It is a perfect place for a intimate small to medium size wedding of 60-100 people!

A great experience! AVCC and the staff are top notch. We really enjoyed working with Chrislynn and she is very upbeat, cheerful and personable. We got married in December and were worried about the rain for our ceremony which was held elsewhere. Chrislynn said no problem, if it rains, you can have the ceremony at AVCC and that was a huge relief. It didn't rain and the day was perfect.

Planning a wedding is stressful, but AVCC is clear on what they do, provides great ideas and their communication was excellent. It really took a lot of stress off knowing they had it handled. We got ready at the club and did our first look their and they were very kind and accommodating. The reception was awesome and we didn't have any issues, just a great meal, drinks and dancing!

We enjoyed our wedding so much we want to do it again! (...maybe in 10 or 20 years). Part of that enjoyment was AVCC and Chrislynn and their staff making it such a wonderful day.

That staff at the Aliso Viejo Golf Course was outstanding, specially Marley Elliott. She went our of your way to help us by giving us options and ideas based on our budget and our wishes. The site itself is beautiful, with a breathtaking view. We highly recommend this site for weddings!!

Not only is this place gorgeous...the staff was wonderful! Everything was so easy and they made it easy for me. The food was delicious and a few of my guests commented it was the best wedding dinner they had eaten. Again, the planner was incredible and the staff the day of the venue were on top of everything. I would definitely plan future events here. Do yourself a favor and look into the AVCC when considering wedding options.

AVCC was a joy to work with. We got married on the tenth tee, it was beautiful, our guests truly enjoyed it and a couple of them asked about the location and catering for their weddings!!! Chrislyn and Marley were great to work with, they worked with us to help our vision of a cocktail style reception come true. They let us take pictures all over the golf course grounds, which I hear other golf clubs don't allow. My dad even drove me up to the ceremony in a golf cart! I would HIGHLY recommend this venue, and the price was very reasonable!

I can't even begin to describe how awesome this venue was. We went to 11 venues before choosing Aliso Viejo Country Club. The price range to just rent a venue (not even include catering) was stressing us out. We had to pay for our own wedding so this was why we continued to shop around for the best deal. We felt like a huge burden had been lifted off our shoulders when we walked into the Aliso Viejo Country Club. The upstairs clubhouse is absolutely gorgeous and with a breath taking view of the Saddleback mountains. The big surprise for us was the amazing affordability on their packages. Finally, the food is amazing. We got so many compliments from our guests about how wonderful everything tasted.
What made it even more perfect was how absolutely wonderful Marley was. Her patience with my many stressed out phone calls and plethora of questions was reassuring. I couldn’t afford a wedding coordinator but I didn’t really need one because she took care of many things. She did a dress rehearsal with us the night before the wedding and that was very helpful. She also went above and beyond the call of duty the day of my wedding. After the ceremony, my bridesmaids were trying to bustle my very complicated 5 layer dress in time for our grand entrance and it was just too much of a struggle. Marley stepped in and literally saved us by helping to bustle my dress!
Bottom line: If you are operating on a shoestring budget like we were and you don’t want the hassle of trying to not only coordinate a venue but also hire a caterer, then you need to take a look at the Aliso Viejo Country Club. It is a beautiful venue and a great value.

First off, the country club is absolutely beautiful. Second, the event staff is unbelievably helpful and go above and beyond to make your wedding perfect. Chris-Lynn and Marley were so sweet and took extra time and effort to help me plan my wedding and find affordable vendors. Our wedding was absolutely perfect, there isn't one thing I would change and that is largely because they are all professionals that take pride in their excellence. We were looking for an affordable but impressive place to have our wedding as several guests were traveling from the mid west. AVCC was the absolute most perfect place to hold our wedding. The staff starting with Marley the wedding coordinator at the club, was superb. Every time we asked for something the answer was yes! The options offered to us were expansive as far as food and beverage were concerned and absolutely every detail was executed exactly as I asked it to be. The facilities are absolutely breathtaking and the reception room was comfortable and beautiful. We literally could not have asked for a more beautiful, affordable and perfect place to get married!

The experience we had with the Aliso Viejo Country Club was second to none. It was an absolute pleasure to work with our event coordinator Ria, who was super friendly and flexible. My husband and I couldn't be happier with the reception and ceremony at the Aliso Viejo Country Club. We looked at a couple of venues and got lost with all of the cost for minimums and things like that. When we went to AVCC, the charges were clear and concise.

The entire staff was absolutely amazing. There was another event that occurred on the same day as our wedding, Chrislynn and Rita were super accomodating and you couldn't even tell that other people were there before us. The entire staff was super responsive and understanding, they even ordered the champagne that we wanted for our toast.

The day was absolutely perfect from the ceremony space, to the reception, everything went off as planned. We would definitely recommend AVCC as a great place to hold your wedding ceremony and reception. 5 Star service!!!!

We are members at Aliso Viejo Country Club and had our wedding there on September 26th. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding. From the ceremony to the dinner/reception, it was all amazing. I never had so many guests tell me that it was their best wedding they had ever been to. We really enjoyed having our wedding at Aliso Viejo Country Club. We did a Sunday Brunch which was exactly what we pictured. The egg fritata was amazing!! Everything was ready on time and Chrislynn was great about making sure everything started in our timing.

We did not have specific music picked and Chrislynn was great in helping us with some song selection.

I felt the pricing was great and if we ever need to do another event, they will be the first place we will call.

Aliso Viejo country club is honestly the best venue my husband and I could of ever picked! Chrislynn and her staff went above and beyond to help make our day special! They were so professional and catered to our every need! Aliso Viejo Country Club is the most amazing and AFFORDABLE place to have the wedding of your dreams! I, like most brides, had trouble finding the prefect place to have our special day within our budget. Thankfully I found "the club", which was able to provide an amazing location with great service and delicious food as well, all within a reasonable budget! Chrislynn and Marley were very helpful and easy to get ahold of during the planning of each and every detail. I could not have imagined more perfect and stress free wedding day. You will never find a better place than Aliso Viejo! The outdoor ceremony site is like something from a bridal magazine, and the reception room was warm and festive. The food was extravagant, and the service staff were efficient and friendly. Chrislynn and Marley, our coordinators, were so incredibly helpful from the first contact we made until the end of our wedding day. We worked mostly with Chrislynn, and not only was she prompt, professional, kind, accommodating, and precise, but we felt she become like a friend by the end of it all. Our guests are still raving about our wedding, and the people who see our pictures are astonished at how gorgeous it was! We are thrilled with our Aliso experience and so grateful to them!

It was the best decision we made to have our wedding at Aliso Viejo! Chrislynn was our main contact, and she was prompt, friendly, professional, helpful, and absolutely a delight to work with from the moment we first contacted her through the very end of our wedding day. Gorgeous venue! When we first saw the venue we instantly fell in love with the location. Beautiful reception area with an even more amazing view of the golf course with the city in the background. Chrislynn and Marley were the perfect coordinators and went above and beyond to make sure that our reception went perfectly. My husband and I fell in love with this venue immediately. The views are absolutely beautiful! So much so that many people have asked if our backdrops in our pictures are fake! After looking at a handful of venues online and in-person it is very hard to find such a new and beautiful country club at such a great price. It is also rare to find a country club with such large and beautiful dressing rooms to use before the ceremony. Chrislynn and Marley are amazing coordinators who are very responsive to e-mails and phone calls. Anyone planning their wedding MUST check out this venue, because I can guarantee they will fall in love!

While a country/golf club wasn't my first thought when we started planning our wedding, I have to say that I'm thrilled we chose the Aliso Viejo Country Club for our big day. The location was convenient, the rooms were perfectly sized and beautiful, the grounds were well maintained, even the backdrop for photos was fantastic.

There are a lot of moving parts to planning a wedding. Chrislynn was an amazing coordinator and ensured every single detail was perfect for us. Her staff were professional and timely. We could not have asked for a better experience.

All that being said, I'm a foodie. I was really concerned that this would be just another banquet meal. I was wrong: the caesar salad was spot on to anything I've ordered in a restaurant and the stuffed chicken with asparagus was amazing. There wasn't a spec of the potatoes left on any plate. Best of all they whipped up a dish at the last minute for my youngest son. THAT is service.

My husband and I chose the Aliso Viejo Country Club for many reasons; location, the breathtaking view, the warm feeling we got when we stepped into the reception area and the value of the wedding packages they offer.
I look back on our day and wish I could relive it all over again. Everything was picture perfect. I would not have changed a thing.
The team at the Country Club was incredible, from even before we signed the contract to the days after the wedding. They were accomodating to my special requests and willing to do whatever they could to make our day the most incredible day in the world, AND IT WAS!

From arranging the first facility viewing appointment to the last minute of our wedding day, Aliso Viejo Country Club was phenomenal. The value of service compared to money spent was amazing. My wedding at AVCC was amazing! This venue is breath taking, and I felt like my wedding was from a movie. All of my guests could not stop raving about how wondering and attentive the staff was. The reception area is intimate and perfect. I liked this place because everything is in one area - the reception, the cocktail, the bathrooms, the photobooth, and the balcony. I have been to several weddings that are just too huge and spread out, which makes you lose people throughout the night. This was a perfect venue where everyone could be a part of all the festivities. My wedding had 161 guests, and everyone was comfortable. Chrislynn the event coordinator is really sweet and honest. She wants to make your day amazing and works hard to make sure it is flawless. She was great in making suggestions and helpful tips throughout the wedding planning process. She is very knowledgeable!

Aliso Viejo Country Club is a beautiful venue, and an overall great space for our wedding ceremony and reception. Our ceremony was outdoors, right next to the reception site. The only drawback was that for our afternoon wedding the sun was shining directly my eyes. Otherwise the ceremony space was very nice, with a great view behind the bride and groom. The bride’s entrance can be done down a staircase, which was pretty epic. The reception was inside – food was excellent, and the space is very classy. Seating for 120 people was very comfortable, and there is plenty of room for a dance floor. The event coordinators, Chantal and Carrie, were hugely helpful, nice, and patient. We really appreciated their help along the whole process!

Without a doubt, the 100% best choice we made for our wedding was to have our ceremony and reception at the Aliso Viejo Country Club. Marley was our contact with them and exceeded all of our expectations. No detail was left to chance with her and her staff and our big day was a huge success in every way because of this venue. Specifically, when taking all of the different things into account when it comes to picking a wedding venue, AVCC was head and shoulders above the rest in every category; price was right, food was great, plenty of options to choose from from outdoors to indoors, colors to decor, you name it, Marley made it happen. Zero headaches or stress and my wife and I cannot recommend more strongly that you visit and take in the awesome views and atmosphere that this venue has to offer. Knew this was the venue as soon as we started touring the property. The wedding team (Marley and Jordan) was professional and worked with us (and our own wedding planner) to customize our wedding package. We just had to make sure to maintain updated agreements and to track all contract deadlines (e.g. head/meal counts). On the day of, the wedding team and staff made sure we didn’t have to worry about anything except showing up. Lastly, the ceremony and reception areas were beautiful, which made for great pictures and a welcomed escape for us and other family from LA.

We kept the total wedding budget around $20,000/+ for 100/+ guests. We booked a Saturday night in September with an outdoor ceremony on the 10th tee (altogether 5pm-10pm excluding set-up/clean-up; we could come as early as 2pm to get ready). Even though the course was open during the ceremony, there weren’t many golfers and the few who were playing were very welcoming. No one, employee or member, ever made us or any of our guests feel like we were intruding on their space.

The entire second floor of the building was dedicated to the cocktail hour and reception. Our customized wedding package included, among others, a full bar, chicken/beef/veggie meal options, 2 additional appetizers, and taco bar. Venue didn’t provide dessert, DJ, or flowers, but had no restrictions on vendors and were able to offer a list of trusted vendors in the area.

Aside from the fact that it’s a beautiful place, what made the venue special for us was the wedding team and staff. They made their love for weddings known and, at times, it felt like they cared more about our wedding day than my husband and I did. They were invested. When our youngest flower girl decided she wanted to stray from the walking path, they laughed along with our family. Before I walked down the aisle, they gave my dress a once over to make sure all was in place. And at the end of our ceremony, they seemed as happy for us as anybody we invited.

Beautiful Venue, Wonderful Staff

We loved having Aliso Viejo Country Club as our wedding venue! The golf course is absolutely gorgeous, I can’t believe I grew up in Southern California without ever realizing this beautiful country club was nearby. The event coordinator Mackenzie was particularly amazing. She was incredibly organized, personable, and just generally a ray of sunshine during the event planning process! The food during our reception was also delicious, as reported to us by several of our guests! I am so grateful to all of the AVCC staff for working so hard to make my wedding day so beautiful. Highly recommend this venue to any prospective brides or grooms!

The Aliso Viejo Country Club was an ideal location for our magical wedding. I loved how the wedding ceremony backdrop is a gorgeous view of the valley and I was hooked the moment I saw the reception location. I loved how it felt homey while still being elegant. I wanted our wedding to be stunning but laid back enough to feel like a fun family gathering, which it was. The area for both bridal parties to get ready are spacious, mostly private, and ideal for any size group. I loved all the food options they gave us for the reception dinner and everything turned out so good!

Marley was nothing but accommodating with anything that I asked for the wedding. She helped us with our menu, rearranging the seating charts, and basically everything the day of. She was kind enough to hold my hand with my endless questions about what would make the most sense for the kind of wedding I wanted. The first wedding I have been in was my own so she really helped me understand how to best manage everything. I am so glad I had her as a resource and she helped create such an amazing day. We still get compliments about the food and one of my bridesmaids is having her sister check out the venue for her own wedding. The service staff was absolutely incredible and took care of everything before I could even ask. They boxed up the top tier of our cake and the grooms cake without us asking and had everything ready for us when we wanted to leave. My dad was so impressed with their attention to detail and aid in helping us set up and take down the decor we had brought. It was such a perfect day and I am so grateful for the venue for creating the exact wedding that I wanted and creating the perfect first day of our married life! Thank you Thank you Thank you! <3

Marley Elliot and the rest of the staff at Aliso Viejo Country Club are truly top notch. They were extremely professional and very considerate. The venue itself was beautiful. We had an April wedding and could not have asked for a better site to host our wedding. The temperature was in the low 70's. There were blue skies, scattered clouds, and the roses were just coming into bloom. Aliso Viejo Country Club offers tremendous value for a premium venue and after visiting over a dozen venues in Southern California, my wife and I decided to come back here. If we were to do it all over again, this would still be the spot!

We had our wedding here in June; it was amazing to say the least. Marley, the event director, was absolutely amazing to work with and helped coordinate everything we wanted. The venue is beautiful and barely needs any additional decor (we got a lot of compliments on venue itself, the views, the location).

We had our ceremony outdoors on the lawn, and it was just so romantic. Everything flowed very smooth thanks to the coordination of AVCC and our vendors.

For the price, I believe it is one of OC's best-kept secrets for weddings. :)

Our wedding here was the most beautiful and wonderful day of our lives! The location is gorgeous, both inside the building and out around the golf course. The event coordinators and other staff members were quick to assist or communicate in every situation. We girls enjoyed getting ready in the ample space provided in the womens' locker rooms. During the reception my dad and friends enjoyed cigars out on the balcony overlooking the golf course and Saddleback mountains. The food was delicious. Parking was easy. They are flexible about timelines, vendors, decorating, etc. This was a perfect decision for our special day! I highly recommend the Aliso Viejo Country Club for any sized wedding or special event.

I had a WONDERFUL experience and would highly recommend Aliso Viejo Country Club for any event. Marley and Chrislynn were so helpful, thorough and supportive. The only snafu was an issue with bar management during my wedding but upper management did a nice job of handling the final bill issue and I felt the end result was fair.

Overall the location is breath taking and the customer service was impressive. When my budget was dramatically reduced, Chrislynn helped me to create a package that fit my new budget and maintained the elegance of my wedding.

My wedding day was the best day of my life and am so pleased we experienced it at Aliso Viejo Country Club.

The moment we got there, we knew we wanted to get married at the venue. The venue itself is gorgeous! Add that with the view and the package they offer, we couldn’t let the opportunity slip away! The best part was that you had the whole second level to yourself for your wedding! The service is great and the food is phenomenal! I was a little nervous about signing the contract without tasting the food but once we did, we were so excited and happy! They were very accommodating. Chrislynn, the event coordinator, truly wanted to make your day special and really worked with you on making that happen. We had an incredible day! Thank you Chrislynn, Marley and everyone that helped make that day so special!

Chrislynn and Marley of AVCC are wonderful to work with, very helpful and flexible. The venue was set up beautifully for the wedding, everyone was happy with the food, and everything ran smoothly on the day. As a full-time professional, trying to plan my wedding in lunch-breaks and on weekends, sometimes it was a bit hard to get in touch with the ladies, so I found it frustrating, but when you do get a response, all is great. AVCC is a wonderful venue for a tasteful outdoor ceremony and fantastic, fun reception. I definitely recommend them.

I wish that I could say our experience was exceptional but it was far from it. We originally booked with Marley in March 2016. She was kind, helpful, enthusiastic, energetic, and the list goes on and on. Unfortunately, she left the company. We were then introduced to Alyssa in December 2016. This was right around crunch time as it was only 4 months until our wedding. Things that Marley had told us suddenly changed as we had a new coordinator. Alyssa was not nearly as kind, helpful, or enthusiastic. We stopped asking her questions and went straight to the events director, Becky, as she was more responsive and knowledgeable. We understand that Alyssa was new but it is her job to be knowledgeable. She misquoted us prices several different times. That was quite frustrating. We were so overwhelmed with everything, especially Alyssa's lack of knowledge, that we hired an outside day-of coordinator. I am glad we did. We met with Alyssa the week of the wedding to make the last payment and finalize all of the details. It was then that she asked about our vendors and a timeline. A little late, don't you think? We referred her to our day-of coordinator who fortunately had everything put together. We had the wedding rehearsal the day before the wedding and it was then that Alyssa told us she would not be coordinating the entire wedding. She basically left everything to her assistant after the ceremony. We had our ceremony at 4:30 in the evening and it was beautiful. We had originally booked the venue because of the beautiful scenery and because they had told us that they host only one wedding per day. Well, that's not exactly how it was. There was only one wedding at the country club but there was another right next door at the Aquatics Center which shares the golf course with the country club. Because of that, our pictures on the course were rushed. We had only 30 minutes to get all photos done. So disappointed. Not nearly enough time. After that, the reception went smoothly.

We chose AVCC for its value, namely for the inclusive brunch wedding package. While the day was beautiful, the AVCC staff was disappointing. First, the positives: The venue includes a spacious reception space and picturesque ceremony lawn - complete with sweeping views of the mountains. Our guests largely enjoyed the location and the delicious food prepared onsite. My husband and I had a wonderful day - but this was because of the amazing help of family and friends who stepped up the day of, NOT thanks to the AVCC staff or coordinators. My coordinator left our rehearsal in the hands of an assistant (who was less than helpful) and did not show up until an hour before the wedding, in spite of earlier promises that she would be there at least two and a half hours before. As a result, my mother missed a lot of special time with me and my wedding party because she was putting table cloths on tables (originally the staff's job). The coordinator also failed to coordinate transitions she previously promised to aid, resulting in a lot of wasted time figuring out which golf carts our photographer could use. Half of our guests did not have champagne for toasts (a feature advertised in the package, which we paid for) and others went searching for cake after it was cut. My father-in-law went all the way to the kitchen, where he found the kitchen staff EATING CAKE they were supposed to serve! This would explain how all the left-overs mysteriously disappeared. After the send-off, staff members were stealing left-over favors off of tables. When my parents asked what was happening, staff members said they thought the left-overs were up for grabs. Overall, I would not recommend this venue, unless you bring in your own wedding planner and have a lot of outside help. Do NOT depend on the AVCC staff alone to do the job right.

Horrible communication and coordinating staff

While our wedding was amazing nonetheless, and the venue grounds were beautiful, the banquet coordinators left me in shock and disgust. During our wedding, there were several hiccups and errors made with items we paid extra to ensure we’re there. We hand selected three appetizers. At the tasting, the Brie wellingtons were 3 times that what came out on our wedding day, and the chicken skewers were completely forgotten about and not served until guests were seated for dinner. However, the venue finds substituting the appetizer with an appetizer of their choice without my consent an appropriate solution. The cake that I paid for and had brought in from my own bakery was only served to seated guests in the middle of open dancing, leaving little guests actually seated. When asked why cake was not put at all seats, the venue coordinator responded that they did not want to “waste” the cake that I paid for. This is not their decision to make. The tenth tee ceremony that was an additional $1,500 also had golfers interrupting and yelling in the middle of my husband and I’s vows, despite the coordinating staff assuring us at our venue tour that golfers would be redirected and the space would be ours to use without interruption. When attempting to address this issue with the venue, their response was simply that they’re sorry if the previous employee misrepresented information and that they do not close down the entire golf course and it was unreasonable for us to expect such a thing. The bathrooms were also filthy and overflowing with trash at all times of the reception, yet the coordinating staff fails to accept this and says they were in pristine condition. In fact, the staff went as far as to say it was our guests fault for the unclean bathrooms. Throughout the night, my wedding coordinator had to go on a man hunt to find the wedding coordinator that was supposed to be our point of contact for the night, who was nowhere to be found after the brief moment I saw her during the ceremony. The venue tried to blame my mother in law for this and accused her of having an altercation that led to our point of contact needing a “break” even though she was nowhere to be found during an entire 6 hour reception. No altercation ever occurred either. Not only has this venue failed to take accountability for their mistakes, they then proceeded to make false statements in an attempt to place blame on their paying customers. During the planning process, any questions I had were often answered in different ways by different members of staff making it extremely confusing and unclear. This is not how I view quality customer service at a private country club that deals with high-volume functions such as weddings on a weekly basis. Please save your money and go to a venue that will actually take accountability and be there for you when you need them.

Do not get married here! Biggest mistake of my life was choosing this wedding venue! The woman who had ended up helping us for months turned out to be making false claims. She told us last minute that the woman who would be helping us on our wedding day was experienced and when we talked to her the day of the wedding she told us this was her first one. She seemed flustered and under prepared. Aside from that the gift I gave my husband for our wedding day was stolen from his suite by the staff. The food was Nothing like what we had tasted at the testing, it was served an hour late, was cold, and the fish was raw. The staff threw away the cake toppers I had spent days making. And to top it off when we had written our coordinator to express our dismay she turned it around on us stating that everything was some how our fault! After the thousands we spent it was an absolute disaster and we were treated terribly! We never even got an apology and our further emails were never responded to. We had a family friend get married there a few months before us and she also had multiple complaints and especially about the food. The only bonus of this place is the incredible view and that's it. Do not waste your hard earned money here!
