The Alicia Lucia team was absolutely incredible. They are worth every penny. We got videography & photography.
From the engagement shoot all the way until the wedding everything went so smooth!! Our team was absolutely incredible! They made taking photos so fun and really added to our day in a way I can’t thank enough. They really made us feel special. We even had guests tell us how much they liked the photography/videography team. My favorite part of our wedding was taking sunset photos! They really hyped us up through every moment. It felt like we were just taking photos with old friends. They helped keep the day organized and on track and I never had to think about anything!
We also received our sneak peak photos so quickly and they turned out amazing just as we expected!
We cannot thank the whole team enough for how much magic they added to our wedding day. -

Wedding on September 27, 2024 at St. Anne’s Church & La Fonda on the Plaza in Santa Fe, NM
After we secured our wedding date at La Fonda in Santa Fe, the first vendor we booked was Alicia Lucia Photography, and I am so, so grateful we did. I may have to create a Sistine Chapel of wedding photos on the ceiling because I don’t have the wall space to hang all of the incredible family portraits, candid moments, and special couple shots they took.
Their photography work speaks for itself, but let me tell you about what you won’t get from a website. We were lucky enough to have Carissa, Lexie, Lindsay, AND Stephanie on the day of to help us capture special moments, and they all were incredible. Lindsey (Director of Operations) is just phenomenal — she knew our venue in Santa Fe inside and out, knew what I was describing when I submitted some desired shots a few weeks before the wedding. She’s organized, prompt, thoughtful, available, experienced, knowledgable, reassuring — I wish she could be director of operations of my life.
Carissa, who did our engagement shoot (assisted by Erika!) and also was our lead photographer at the wedding, also knew all the photogenic spots around Santa Fe and where to go for good lighting. With Alicia Lucia, you are getting expertise and experience with not only the venue but surrounding area where you’re getting married, which is invaluable.
Next, they are exceptionally professional. We had a Catholic Mass at St Anne’s Church before the reception at La Fonda, and the team was so incredible about capturing all the important moments, but in a way that was discrete and respected the sanctity of the ceremony. (Honestly, I feel a little misty-eyed about how sincere and respectful they were!) If you are also having a religious/spiritual ceremony and this is important to you, I would highly recommend.
That said, they are also SUCH a fun bunch to work with. After the mass, we all participated in the La Marcha parade around the Santa Fe plaza, and the Alicia Lucia Squad took some of my favorite pictures of the day of us and our wedding guests. I looked over at one point and saw Carissa dancing and having fun and taking pictures. Notably, we had some folks who hate having their picture taken, and no one can make you feel relaxed and laugh like Carissa! I will be forever SO immensely grateful for how she helped people feel relaxed and open up, even with the presence of a camera. That is a unique and special gift that can’t be taught!
Lexi went to take pictures of my husband and his groomsmen before the ceremony, and took some of my favorite photos ever of my husband. She has a real knack for capturing photos that feel natural and truly candid. And she’s fun to work with and injected some lightheartedness into a crazy day! Stephanie was equally a joy to work with and was a positive, fun presence on the day of! And Lindsey —in addition to being Director of Operations— also takes incredible videos and took beautiful behind-the-scenes clips, capturing so many special fun moments!
Did I mention we also got our sneak peeks and full gallery SO fast? Why are you still reading my novel of a review!? Go ahead and book these guys! I want to have some other major life event so I can work with them again! Truly though, from the bottom of my heart, I am so grateful for the Alicia Lucia team, and for the incredible photographs I will treasure for the rest of my life. I will look at our pictures and smile, and I will always feel so grateful for the beautiful, talented souls behind the camera.

We could not have asked for a better team for our photos. For both engagement and wedding photos the ALP team was incredible. We had the pleasure of working with the outstanding ALP photography team for our wedding, and we couldn't be happier with the experience and the results. Right from the start, they were very communicative, keeping in touch with us throughout the preparations, including our engagement photo session which we did ahead of time. During the engagement session, the team made us feel incredibly comfortable. They knew exactly when certain poses or locations weren't working and made quick, decisive changes that better suited our style and made us more comfortable.
On our wedding day, they were punctual, flexible, and very accommodating. They seamlessly adjusted to our timeline and preferences. We were especially impressed with how they interacted with our guests, family, and wedding party – they were unobtrusive yet ever-present to capture all our candid moments. Aside from the portrait sessions when we knew they were around, we barely noticed their presence, which allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the moment while still ensuring every memory was beautifully captured.
The responsiveness and speed of service following the wedding were truly remarkable. We received our BTS iPhone footage almost immediately, which they shared on social media, making us feel incredibly special. The sneak peeks of our photos came much earlier than expected, and the turnaround time for our full photo album was impressively quick, allowing us to relive our special day sooner than we ever imagined. There was a specific family photo we wanted to be retouched, and the team was exceptionally responsive and quick to find a solution. This level of customer service and attention to detail is rare and we felt so well taken care of by the ALP team.
Overall, we would highly recommend this photography team to anyone looking to capture their special day. They managed to capture our wedding perfectly – in a candid, human, and authentic way – and they made us feel special throughout the entire process. Their professionalism, flexibility, and remarkable speed in delivering photos truly set them apart. -

We are so happy we went with Alicia Lucia Photography for our engagement shoot and wedding elopement.
Working with their coordinator Lindsay the past year made the process so easy and stress free. She is a sweet as can be as well as so prompt and professional.
We got to work with Carissa and Jaclyn for our engagement shoot. My husband and I were a little nervous at first however, Carissa and Jaclyn made us feel comfortable right away and laugh the whole time. They also gave us so many beautiful engagement photos.
For the day of the elopement, we worked with Lindsay and Molly. The day is honestly a blur because my husband and I were caught up in the moment so when we got our photos back we were stunned at how many beautiful photos there were to drool over. Everyone who has seen them so far have given us such high compliments and were so thankful to the Alica Lucia team capturing the beauty and magic of our wedding.

We have nothing but amazing things to say about the ALP team. It was an absolute dream working with them every second of the way. From the inquiry to the big day, it was nothing but professionalism, quick response time and great communication! Their website is very thorough and answers a lot of your questions, but Lindsay is absolutely amazing! From the small to the big emails, Lindsay is so patient and happy to answer all your questions. The Photography Team of Our Dreams!
I cannot say enough good things about the ALP team! From the very beginning, they were incredibly communicative and took the time to thoroughly understand my vision and plans, keeping me informed at every step of the wedding planning process. We got married in Italy in May, and ALP handled our international wedding with exceptional professionalism and organization. I had many important "inspo" shots that I shared in advance, and the ALP team made sure every single one was captured. We had an absolute blast with them throughout the process.
One thing that truly stood out was how they sent us behind-the-scenes footage the day after our wedding, which was so special to see so quickly after our celebration. Amazing experience with ALP
We are so incredibly grateful we chose ALP as our photography for our September wedding at Woodlands Colorado. Not only did the pictures turn out stunning, it was an absolute pleasure working with the team. We were in constant contact with Lindsey the coordinator along with Lexie and Alicia our amazing photographers. Lexie and Alicia had been through all the fun moments captured between my husband Skylar and I. From the proposal to engagement to pre- wedding and wedding pictures we were so grateful to have them there to capture the special day. It is no joke when people say the day flies by and things are a blur when you're in the moment. ALP captured all the beautiful moments that my post bride brain wished I had seen at the wedding and I will be forever grateful for that. Working with ALP was the best decision we could have made for our wedding day. They were very responsive way ahead of time and just made the entire process nice and simple. They accommodated us for needing photographers on multiple days and they both went an extra mile both days. I am so so thankful I went with Alicia Lucia Photography for my wedding. They helped capture the wedding of my dreams in the most perfect way!
Their team was amazing to work with right from the start, incredibly responsive and accommodating, and they just have such talented photographers. We did our engagement session with Arielei at Los Poblanos, and the photos turned out better than I could've hoped for. She was so good at giving (much needed) direction and capturing all the sweetest moments--I knew I'd made the right photographer decision right then and there, but of course my expectations were exceeded when I saw my wedding photos! They also turned them around soo quickly I was shocked!
I hope to use them again in the future one day and would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a high-quality wedding photographer to take photos that you want to look at forever and ever! -

Choose them for the extra mile!
All of the pictures were wonderful! Beyond that, they were easy to reach and always responded quickly. Most importantly, as a bride, they were BEYOND HELPFUL. My photographers (Molly & Erin) helped trim my bouquet, took jewelry on/off, had assistants to carry our stuff, helped me with my shoes on/off, fixed my hair, etc. They were more helpful than our own bridal party! Love them! Would absolutely use them again. Best vendor decision! -

Hello lovers! If you are looking for an engagement or wedding photographer and are on the fence whatsoever, I am here to tell you: you’ve found the one, and your dreams are about to come true. I’ve said ‘yes’ to Alicia and her team twice - for our engagement shoot at White Sands, NM, and for our wedding in the San Francisco Bay Area. My wife (newly minted!) and I are totally in love, and would marry them all over again!!! Haha all jokes aside, we seriously couldn’t be happier for a number of reasons.
#1 ARTISTRY. (This one’s subjective, but it really sealed the deal for us!) One thing that sets Alicia & Co. apart from everyone else is their dreamy style of editing colors. While the colors still look natural, they give an impression of lightness and warmth, which feels romantic. This distinctive style makes your photos look like they could be out of a magazine and brings them together in such a satisfying way. We are also huge fans of the way Alicia & Co. shoot! We love that they take wide, cinematic shots in addition to closer, more intimate portraits. We felt they captured not only the events, but the atmosphere and emotions that made our day so special.
#2 EASY (Professional). Alicia & her team are soo easy to work with! Responsive, communicative, dependable, thorough, punctual, painless to work with, etc. etc. They have the logistics down to a science, and we received our pictures earlier than estimated, both times. (Our wedding pictures were estimated to take 4-6 weeks, but I honestly think they arrived within a week and a half?!)
#3 STILL EASY (but read: Fun, Comfortable, Skilled at Drawing Out Your Best). Alicia and her team create a relaxed and positive environment that always feels natural and authentic. My partner and I do okay in front cameras, but typically start to fidget after a minute or so with solo shots. We were surprised by how much fun we had and how comfortable we felt (which makes your pictures even better!) I should note that my partner and I are both women, so here’s your sign, LGBTQIA+ friends ;) We worked with Alicia for my proposal, and had Alicia, Lexie, and Lindsay join us on our wedding day.
#4 SOCIAL MEDIA-FRIENDLY. More than likely, you’re going to want to share pictures on your socials. For both the proposal and our wedding, we received sneak peeks within 1-2 days that immediately allowed us to do this! For our wedding, we also received goodies that weren’t in our contract, but were AMAZING to have. The girls took short videos throughout our wedding, stitched them together into an IG story, and posted this on their official IG account. This allowed us to make our own highlight that we could replay at any time. Watching this the day after our wedding, and on our honeymoon? Priceless and absolutely magical!!! (We received the files for all these short videos as well!)
Whew! I’ve basically written an essay at this point. (Props if you’re still with me, haha!) But I am only putting in this much effort because I truly feel that Alicia & Co. deserve every word. We are so grateful to have worked with them twice, and we will cherish these photos for the rest of our lives.

we love ALP!
We had the best experience with Alicia Lucia Photography! ALP was recommended to me first by a high school friend who is now a wedding coordinator at a lovely Santa Fe wedding destination, but we also saw her business listed on several recommended lists of vendors from our venue and our wedding planner. They helped with every step of the way- from planning our engagement shoot, to picking our bridal shoot location, to coordinating the schedule day of. We worked with at least 4 different photographers, all of whom were so kind, fun, and did a fabulous job posing us and organizing people for group shots. I LOVED every single one of my wedding photos. Wouldn't change a thing. Cannot recommend this sweet business enough! -

There are not enough words to fully express the love I have for this team!!! Alicia and her team are incredibly kind, talented, professional, and very easy to work with! They were very responsive and quick to answer any questions that I had. It’s a huge deal for vendors to help your day go as smoothly as possible and this is exactly what they did. I personally dread being in front of the camera so I requested that photos be “quick and painless” and I was blown away by how many amazing shots they got in the incredibly short window of time I gave them!! As a marketing director, I paid close attention to my photography team and I can attest that the detail, professionalism, value and talent is exemplary. There’s a reason why they’re booked years in advance and they continuously recognized. Our photos are truly cherished memories and works of art. Beyond the talent, all of the photographers, editors and assistants are genuinely nice people! My advice to all future brides and grooms is even if you feel tired of photos (I did) I promise tough it out a bit and take more! If you are questioning booking with Alicia and her team, let me stop you right now-- DO IT! This team of boss ladies are truly the most talented and incredible photographers. They have an eye for capturing not only the beautiful traditional wedding photos, but also the candid, raw moments that you don't even think about on your big day. My husband and I are not what you would call photogenic, but the ALP team hyped us up and made us feel like million dollar models. And it shows in our photos, they all came out breathtaking!!
Throughout the entire process, the team maintained the upmost professionalism and respect! Not to mention, the turnaround time for my photos was three weeks (WOW) and they even sent little gifts throughout the planning process. The Alicia Lucia Photography team went above and beyond to capture our engagement and special day. We came from out of state and the communication with the ALP team made it so easy to work them with despite us not being local in the area. They made us feel comfortable with poses and were so patient as they captured many photos with different combinations of family and friends after the ceremony. I highly recommend Alicia Lucia and would jump at the chance to work with them again! -

I chose Alicia Lucia Photography based on my own google search of wedding photographers in the Santa Fe area. I just loved the look and the quality of their photos in their online gallery. The team was extremely responsive and flexible. They really went out of their way to work with us and find a time to do our engagement session after the original plan fell through. My favorite photos are from right after the ceremony when they led us around the square in Santa Fe. These artistic shots really exceeded my expectations. Overall, the quality of our photos made not only the investment in the photography, but the investment in other parts of the wedding which were captured, worth it. I would love to be able to work with Alicia Lucia Photography again in the future. -

The best wedding photography experience!
As a wedding planner, I have worked with Alicia & her team for years and have always loved their style and energy. When I got engaged, there was really no one else I wanted to capture the most intimate moments of our small destination wedding! They were incredible, as usual, leading up to the wedding and on the day itself. They made sure that I felt like a bride, and not like the wedding planner that they're used to working with! After the event, they got us "sneak peek" photos so quickly, and even made sure to document the behind-the-scenes on Instagram so that everyone could follow along. They truly cared for us and our experience so deeply, and I would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a fantastic wedding photography experience - on the wedding day & beyond! -

Easily the best decision we could make for our wedding!
Planning weddings are incredibly stressful— throw in the fact that we had a destination wedding in Cancun, MX made it even more stressful! Luckily the one thing that I could say was EASY was choosing Alicia and her team to be our photographer! Not only did they photograph all the tender, candid moments, but they somehow captured all of the impulsive, unplanned moments as well! They were so professional and so incredibly kind— Lindsey was even sweet enough to offer some medication she had to help my sweet groom on our wedding day. Talk about coming in clutch! Their aesthetic is on point and their turnaround time was quick. All of the images are breathtaking. The only problem we have now is choosing which photos we’d like to print because we love them ALL! 🤍🫶🏼 -

We had Alicia, Molly, and Jaclyn shoot and assist our wedding, and from the moment they arrived at our wedding venue, we felt like we were welcoming friends. The ALP team brings such a personal touch to their business. When they are at your wedding, they are as excited for you as any of your invited guests. Their smiles, their words, their hugs - they all made our magical day even better. Alicia, Molly, and Jaclyn are the ultimate professional boss babes, hype women, and creative geniuses that care so much about the job they do. And that care shows through in every single photo they captured of our day. The admin teams' response time is impeccable. We had sneak peak photos a day and a half after our wedding, and our full gallery back within two weeks. They were always prompt with every email and answered every question we had. They were professional, and seamlessly pulled off our wedding day timeline. As my husband said, "they can make an unattractive person look attractive." If you are nervous, they will set you at ease, and after it's all over, your photos will look like you could be on the cover of Vogue. 50 years from now, my husband and I will still be flipping through our photo album getting misty eyed and still saying how amazing our wedding was. ALP played a huge part in that. We are eternally grateful and you should hire them right now this second. -

Alicia and her team were very flexible with me when I decided, last minute, to upgrade my photography package! We had two photographers and an assistant there on my wedding day and they were such an amazing team. They captured everything I wanted and then some! I felt extremely comfortable with the staff and they were very professional! I received all of my photos only a few weeks after the wedding and I cried because I was so blown away with how they turned out! Worth every penny! -

Better photos than could have hoped for!
Alicia and her team are absolutely incredible! We postponed our wedding due to COVID-19, but decided to elope on our original wedding date. Luckily Alicia was still available to photograph our ceremony (socially distanced of course!). She helped us decide on a ceremony location and gave advice on the optimal ceremony time for photos. She was so easy to work with and really helped make stressful situation fun. We couldn't have asked for better photos and we can't wait for her to shoot our wedding next year. We can't recommend Alicia and team highly enough! -

Alicia and her team were absolutely phenomenal. Everyone made us feel comfortable and at ease both before our big day and during. My husband really enjoyed working with the second shooter, Cameron-he said she really helped him relax some nerves before the ceremony and that he had a lot of fun taking pictures with her. Alicia herself is, of course, amazing. She made sure I was comfortable and relaxed and the pictures came out stunning. The whole process, from the moment we booked, to all of our last-minute questions, to getting our photos back, was seamless. We felt special every step of the way. Finally, the turn around time was, I think, four days?! When we came home from our honeymoon our wedding photos were sitting in our email. That's just insane! They came out beautiful, and were everything we could have hoped for and more. Thank you SO much, Alicia and team, for helping us to preserve these memories forever! -

Look no further than Alicia and her team to photograph your wedding! We had such an amazing experience from the first communication right up to the day of our wedding! We weren't able to make the trip to meet Alicia ahead of time, but we felt so at ease the second we met Alicia on the morning of our wedding! She and her team are so professional, but also fun and personable and made taking our wedding photos such a blast. The team had excellent knowledge of all the shots they should try to get but they also listened to what specific shots we wanted (or didn't, ha!) I loved that every thing felt very natural and not posed. After the wedding, we received our photos while we were still on our honeymoon- not even 10 days later- which was awesome because we were so anxious to see them! We couldn't believe how many amazing photos they captured- of every aspect of our wedding that we never want to forget! Our package included a beautiful wedding album that now sits on our coffee table and we love going through them from time to time to remember our perfect day! When we first received our engagement pictures which we received online we were so surprised on how beautiful they turned out! We never thought we could be so good looking haha! We knew for sure at that moment the wedding pictures were going to be amazing. We were planning on having our wedding in Albuquerque and I was planning while I’m living in San Diego. I thought it was going to be difficult to coordinate everything but Alicia was flexible enough to help out with anything we needed while we were in town even through the holiday period. The wedding day was perfect and what made it even better was having Alicia and her team there to make sure all the pictures we needed were captured. She got every detail that we may have not been able to see from our dancing guests to the reactions of our wedding party during our first dance. She even helped us with how to cut the cake since we were a little lost lol Our wedding was something I’ll never forget and Being able to look back at such beautiful pictures makes us feel so blessed to have met such a talented and kind person! She is also just lovely to work with and easy going, yet still very precise and organized.
