It's hard for me to write a review for the services Alfield has provided for our engagement session and wedding. He has blown me and my husband (and our families) away by how beautiful his work is. I am left stunned every time I receive our pictures back. (which I must add is so quick, took him 3 days to get us back 500 edited wedding pictures!) He captures beautiful moments. But his talent runs much deeper than that. If you couldn't tell his young age by looking at him, you would think he has been photographing couples in GR for 75 years. He is effortless when finding the most stunning angles and locations. But, It honestly seems like it comes naturally. He can be in a room for the first time and know all the right areas for pictures. I have never seen such perfected professionalism. The best thing is that I never had to worry about him being my photographer, I knew every penny was going to be worth it (seriously, if you can't afford him, you NEED to find a way, because his work will leave you will the most amazing memories that will fill you will love when you look back on them, you cannot find his quality of work anywhere else). Another great thing is it is so easy to work with him. We all know wedding planning can be messy and frustrating at times because vendors aren't on their A-game. the only vendor that did NOT make me have a single "seriously?!?!? We should have never hired them" stressful moment, was alfield. He made the wedding process easy. Something that really changed the game was how comfortable he makes you feel. My now Husband used to hate whenever anyone would take his photo and was not looking forward to the engagement session after he met Alfield and we completed taking the photos and got to the car, my husband looked at me and said: "we should get pictures every anniversary with him". !!!!!!!! That's crazy. He even confirmed this after the wedding about how Alfield makes getting photos fun. He isn't all in your face, he is precise and doesn't waste your time, so it feels like you are just spending time with your S.O. As weird as this may seem, sometimes you forget Alfield is shooting because you feel so relaxed and comfortable that you just do what comes natural (not a common thing with me and my husband when it comes to being around other people).
I know this is a long post, especially for someone who NEVER writes reviews, but Alfield deserves it. I never thought a little goofy looking couple could be photographed in a way that makes them look like they could be on the cover of Vogue Magazine, but here we are. He's great. And if I have the choice, he will be the only photographer I use for every occasion for the rest of my life. -

I had the pleasure of working with Al for both family photos and my wedding. He has a phenomenal eye and provides excellent service. He communicates well and is very flexible and accommodating. I could not have had a better experience. We will continue to use him for all of our photo needs in the future! Book him you wont regret it! -

Amazing photographer
Alfield and his team were amazing to work with! My pictures turned out better than expected. The package we purchased was worth every penny. Not only did our pictures come back amazing but he also got them back to us fast. We got them back in a week! Definitely recommend!! -

Artistic documentation!
Alfield Reeves did an excellent job of capturing our wedding day with both posed photos and photo-journalistic documentation! I love his style and he was super kind and patient with all my requests! And not outrageously priced like so many others! I highly recommend him! -

I had multiple reasons to work with Alfield and it was worth it! Not only was he laid back, which calmed me down during my wedding planning distress, but he is extremely professional as well. I was lucky enough to have an inter following him along and his intern was caring enough to help me last minute decorations during my dress rehearsal. I mean he and his team really go above and beyond. Thant sort of passion definitely shows in the pictures we got, since he was able to capture moments and make them look more beautiful than I remember. Did I mention I was mid honeymoon when I got my photos back? I got great photos back in record time. I would recommend him 100%. -

Alfield was not only available at the very last minute for us, but he delivered fantastic quality. He worked with our setting, our crowd, and our event to deliver images that we will cherish for a lifetime. He delivered fantastic quality in both the candid and posed pictures. He also turned around the prints in an exceptional time frame. Absolutely worth booking. -

Al was so personable and easy to talk to. We immediately knew we would be comfortable being ourselves with him! Planning an out of state wedding was difficult to say the least but alcwas always the easiest to get ahold of, every step of the way. Our pictures came out professional and artistic, and even though we were pressed for time he worked thoughoughly and effectively! And on top of everything else, he even sent us a little hand made keepsake box with prints and a flash drive and a sweet card. He went above and beyond our highest expectations and I will be waiting to take our next family photo shoot in Michigan with Al! -

He is extremely professional and punctual, quick to respond to emails and text messages, and very accommodating with meet ups and changing timelines. I was amazed by his quick turn around time for such high quality photos. My husband and I were both crying when we saw the photos, they are so beautiful and captured our day perfectly. You will seriously not regret hiring Alfield!

We loved how responsive and professional he was to our texts and e-mails. Alfield is amazing at what he does and we could tell he really enjoys doing it and sharing his passion for photography with others. He went above and beyond our expectations of what we wanted in a photographer and his turn around time for pictures is so quick! One week after our wedding he already had gone through and edited all our photos in amazing colorful/black and white details and sent them to us. The photo book we received at the end of it all was a surprise that we did not expect! I most definitely recommend using Alfield Reeves Photography for any wedding or photo needs. We love him and are so thankful for all the beautiful memories he was able to capture for us and can't wait to use him again in the future. -

Alfield is incredibly talented! He is super friendly and fun and went above and beyond. He checked out our venue before our day to determine the best photo locations and poses. He even came to our wedding rehearsal to meet the wedding party and communicate with us and our officiant about where he would stand to capture photos! We were very impressed in how fast he was able to deliver our photos (only 3 days!). We love our photos! -
