The absolute best

Alexandra is truly a gem!! She and her husband, Michael, are not only incredible photographers but also just wonderful people we feel so lucky to have gotten to know. They are extremely talented, hardworking, dedicated to their craft, and so much fun to work with. They were an absolute joy to have around on our wedding day — we honestly felt like they were two of our close friends, there to share all the important moments with us. We loved how laid back and casual they made the whole process feel — exactly the fun, stress-free vibe we wanted — while at the same time incredibly professional and making us feel 100% confident they were getting every shot we could ever want. The photos are stunning, and we just can't believe how they perfectly captured our personalities, our happiness, and every emotion we felt on that day.

When we had to postpone our wedding twice due to the pandemic, Alexandra was so kind, so understanding, and even helped us coordinate and reschedule to make sure we were finally able to have the day we imagined. We decided we didn't want to wait until our big wedding celebration to actually get married, so when we had a small family ceremony on our original date, Alexandra and Michael drove a whole hour to be there for us so we could have the ceremony photographed. We were so touched by their kindness and their willingness to go above and beyond. We're so so grateful to Alexandra and Michael, and we're so thrilled to have perfect photos from both of our wedding days. Choosing the right wedding photographer was one of our top priorities, and we couldn't possibly be happier with the choice we made. We love these two and could not more highly recommend them!

Genuine, Organized, Talented, Kind and Professional

I absolutely adore Alex from Alexandra Meseke Photography. As a wedding planner, it's important to me that I work with other wedding professionals that are talented, dedicated, professional, have integrity, and will take care of my clients. Alex is kind, hilarious, and brings incredible experience to each of her projects, whether it's a wedding, family photo shoot, or a brand photoshoot. She has experience shooting in a variety of settings, from cities to manors, tents and historic buildings, indoors and outdoors. She's done it all. She's organized, warm, genuine, and sets her clients at ease, which is so important on the wedding day! I've worked with her on multiple projects including weddings, editorial shoots, and my personal brand photo shoot, and her work always exceeds my expectations. Alexandra is the absolute BEST!!

Alexandra Meseke ~ Your #1 Hype Girl

Going into wedding planning, Taylor and I wanted to make sure we had an exceptional photographer as these pictures would physically represent our special day for the rest of our lives and hopefully to be passed down to our children and their families. I found a few people during my search but after visiting our venue and seeing Alexandra’s business card on their vendor shelf I knew I had to look into her work. We were married at Crispin Hill on 8/1/20 and if you have the privilege to know the owners they have the best vendor recommendations because they strive for excellence for their couples.

Immediately through emailing her I knew I would love this woman behind the camera. I kept telling Taylor how excited I was to meet her and how awesome I knew she would be. We visited her adorable studio in the Village Gate and in talking with her about our vision and overall feel of our wedding aesthetic I felt like we just clicked. We left the meeting and Taylor told me “You made the right choice Katie”. Honestly in my eyes it felt like the StepBrothers movie moment where Dale and Brennan just realized they became best friends.

Fast forward to engagement session— Alexandra was extremely helpful in giving us suggestions for places based on our interests and personal story. When we arrived at George Eastman museum Taylor and I were certainly nervous. Neither of us have been in front of a camera like this before and we weren’t sure how “posed” this would be and made bets on how awkward we would act. Let me tell you- I know it is their job to make you feel comfortable, relaxed and guide you through the session- but this amazing woman’s energy was so positive, so encouraging and SO MUCH FUN that Taylor and I felt completely at ease.

Our wedding day was nothing short of the same upbeat, laughter filled energy. We had the absolute pleasure to have her husband, Michael be our 2nd photographer. These two are the cutest together and work so well as a team. She truly was the best hype girl for our whole party & family. I felt confident and beautiful in front of her camera. I remember telling them at the end of the night that I can’t wait to have a family so Alexandra can be my photographer for life. The creative talent she has is simply amazing and she produces the most beautiful pictures. One of my favorite things about her is that she uses film instead of digital and I love the rawness of her technique. I can’t express my gratitude enough for the overall amazing experience she provides as your photographer.

There is absolutely no way I can explain how awesome it was to have Alexandra and her husband Michael as the photographers at my wedding. They were just spectacular.

Alexandra is talented, organized, lighthearted, and determined. She put everyone at ease all evening. And, because we had such a large wedding, we had the extra bonus of working with Michael the day of as well! They are an awesome team who bring nothing but good vibes, loving energy, and the desire to get the perfect shot. They will capture the beauty of your day.

Also, I was super skeptical about getting engagement photos, but eventually talked myself into it, and that extra 1.5ish hours spent with them months before the wedding was an absolute boon. Made me super comfortable when they showed up on the day and started snapping shots!

Alexandra and her husband Michael are THE BEST in every way possible. My husband and I used Alexandra for both our engagement and wedding photos, as well as a secret boudoir photo session that I snuck in as a surprise for my husband. I can't speak highly enough of her professionalism, quality of work and shining personality. I planned my Finger Lakes wedding from Texas, which meant a lot of unknowns and unfamiliar territory. I ended up choosing our wedding venue based on photos in Alexandra's portfolio and throughout the planning process she happily provided honest and helpful recommendations and advice to help me craft the perfect day (with the right vendors -- very important!). Alexandra also has a special warmth that makes your feel instantly comfortable (a huge pro for those of us who hate having our picture taken) and she's not afraid to wrangle a group of rowdy groomsmen for a flawlessly posed photo. Aside from being great people to work with, they're insanely talented as well -- thank you Alexandra & Michael for capturing the joy and emotion of our day so beautifully!

My husband and I celebrated our first anniversary this weekend! We decided to look through our wedding pictures to try and relive the day. The pictures brought us right back to our wedding day (the best day ever!!) This is such a testament to the work of Alexandra and Michael. They perfectly captured our day and we will forever be able to look at our pictures and be transported to all the special moments of our wedding day!
One of our first decisions in planning our wedding day was choosing a photographer. I looked through numerous wedding photography websites but was always drawn back to Alexandra. There was something special about her photography, her use of natural light was beautiful and I knew that’s the look I wanted to capture our day. Once we spoke with her we knew it was a done deal! They were very accommodating and wonderfully communicative throughout the planning process. When we met with her and Michael they were professional but also felt like friends and we knew they would be awesome to have them with us on our wedding day.
On the day of the wedding, things could not have gone better. They made everyone in our bridal party and families comfortable and kept things really fun! We had a lot of people to corral and they did so with ease while capturing everyone’s natural smiles and some awesome candid moments!
The turnaround time was fast and we had so much fun looking through the photos for the first time, we couldn’t have been more pleased with the results. I highly recommend Alexandra Meseke Photography!

Where do I even begin? I cannot possibly do Alexandra Meseke Photography justice... I was extremely nervous about choosing a wedding photographer as I tend to be a bit of a perfectionist and know that photos are the only thing you have to remember your wedding by. Well, I could not have chosen better hands to be in. I contacted Alexandra close to 2 years ago after falling in love with her photos online and have not regretted it for one second since! She has incredible attention to detail, is an extremely hard worker, soooo very talented, not to mention is the sweetest human being. We just received our wedding photos over the weekend (such a quick turnaround) and they were everything we could have hoped for and more!! We legitimately could not find one photo we disliked and could not think of a shot we wanted that she and Michael didn't get. She captured the essence of who we are and perfectly documented every aspect of our day with such talent and creativity.

Throughout the wedding, Alexandra and Michael remained energetic and fun and our entire family and bridal party commented about how amazing they were. Alexandra was not simply a "vendor" at our wedding. She was there for every special, private moment we shared, and offered the most beautiful wedding advice that we will never forget. We feel so incredibly grateful that we found AMP.

I cannot possibly say enough about Alexandra and Michael! It was a pleasure from the very beginning- Alexandra is professional, responsive, while creative and refreshing with her demeanor and humor. They fit right into our day! They respected the shots that we wanted to take, while sneaking around capturing really amazing moments that we would have missed in the chaos of the day.

I highly recommend the engagement shoot in the package, it was amazing not only to meet and work with Alexandra, but the pictures are ridiculously gorgeous and organic. She has the ability to capture the best part of you in a really beautiful way. My bridal shower was later in the week- and she was able to rush the edits so that we had the photos at the shower!

Take the time to invest in your photos and Alexandra as a photographer- pictures are forever and I couldn't recommend anyone more!

There are no words for the amazingness that is Alexandra Meseke Photography, but since they deserve all the praise they can get, I will try ;)
Finding the right wedding photographer was my absolute top priority! I’ve had a fair amount of professional photos taken and I know I’m not the easiest, nor the most natural subject. I also know that I can get pictures I love – if the right person is behind the camera.
From my past experience working with the Mesekes I learned that in addition to taking absolutely striking pictures, they are wonderful people who make their subjects feel at ease and make the whole process relaxing and fun! I knew I wanted to book Alexandra Meseke Photography for my dream wedding before I even met my husband ;)
Before the wedding, people were shocked when we told them we were flying our photographers in from New York. Once they saw the pictures, though, “You know there are plenty of great photographers in the Bay Area, right?” turned into “WOW! Whatever you went through to get those photographers was WORTH IT!”
Alexandra couldn’t have been more organized, attentive and accommodating throughout the planning process. On the day of the wedding, she and Michael were perfect; they work so well as a team and captured stunning, moving, powerful, tender images of our day. The most difficult part of working with Alexandra Meseke Photography has been narrowing down our favorite images to a reasonable number!
Alexandra is passionate about her work, and it shows in every image she takes. She and Michael both have tremendous talent and amazing instincts; it makes them a dream team when they photograph a live event. I whole-heartedly recommend you secure their services if you can!

Alexandra was a joy to work with. She immediately makes you feel comfortable and is fun to be around. Her photography and use of natural light is what originally drew us to meeting with her. When looking at photography, typically, the photos on a website will always be a prime selection. What points to a great photographer is when you view all of their photos from one event and they all look incredible. I reviewed a few of the full sessions that Alexandra and her husband, Michael, have shot and each one was more impressive than the next. I highly recommend Alexandra. She was responsive and helped to think of shots or grouping that I had not thought of to ensure that we'd have all the photos we could want. We're extremely pleased with our choice and can't wait to make use of Alexandra's talents again as we start to grow our family.

Where to start with these two… Alexandra and Michael are the cream of the crop when it comes to photography. They have this crazy way of making you look & more importantly FEEL ridiculously natural, raw, and organic in front of a camera lens. Let’s face it, getting your picture taken can make anyone feel a little nervous, but rest assured Alexandra’s bubbly quirky sense of humor will make you laugh effortlessly. And Michael’s ninja behind the scenes super talent is just like so crazy cool—he will take photos of you and your sweetie without you even noticing! We cannot say enough good things about Alexandra and Michael. We had never had any kind of professional picture done prior to our wedding and knew we'd need direction and someone to take charge-that is what they did. But they did so in a very informal and enjoyable way. They are pros at making you laugh and really enjoy yourself throughout the day/photographs. The pictures themselves are beautiful which could only happen with their direction, silly comments (making us laugh and feel comfortable) and photography skills. They were prompt in responding throughout the planning process and getting our photos to us following the wedding. Alexandra and Michael are not just amazing photographers, but amazing people as well!

Alexandra and Michael were amazing!! We didn't do engagement photos since we live out of town so my husband did not even meet them until we started taking pictures on our wedding day, but it didn't matter. They knew exactly what to say to ease everyone's nerves and make sure we were having fun, and the pictures came out AMAZING!!! Alexandra has such an eye for what the picture will look like that no one else can see. I have complete and total faith that any photographs she takes will turn out spectacular (I follow her instagram, all her photos are just a pleasure to look at even if you don't know the people in them!) Alexandra and Michael are highly recommended, you will not be disappointed! Everyone at our wedding loved them so much that our friends from NYC wanted to use them for their own wedding. My relatives from NJ who just planned their own wedding said they had never seen a photographer as amazing and talented as Alexandra. Love her, and we will definitely use them again in the future!!

We found Alexandra and Michael through this website and booked them based on their gorgeous photos. We soon found out they are SO much more then pretty pictures! They are extremely kind and creative - something we truly valued as artists. They were AMAZING through the entire process from phone calls, to responding to our multiple emails (we planned our wedding from NYC), to their positive energy throughout our entire wedding day. We received multiple compliments from guests on how professional and friendly they were. When we received our wedding photos they brought me to tears. I first found Alexandra and Michael from a blog post I was shown. I quickly noticed they were not your ordinary wedding pictures. The main thing that caught my eye was the emotion they were able to capture and the joy of the day. Their pictures looked straight out of a magazine, and since photography was very important to me I knew I wanted them to photograph my wedding. Alexandra and Michael are the most down to earth, kind, easy-going people. They are easy to work with and just so fun to be around! You wouldn't even know they were there most of the night. Very professional and really focus on the bride and groom, but try to get everything throughout the night. First and foremost, you are getting the best quality pictures and creative eye, but an added bonus Alexandra and Michael. It was like they were family at our wedding! This was the best decision we made, and worth every penny.

I don't know if it would have been possible to have better photographers for our wedding than Alexandra and Michael. The two of them were an absolute joy to work with and made it SO easy to be in front of the camera. They kept us and our wedding party relaxed all day. We got many compliments from our party about how quickly they learned everyones names and how efficient they were about getting photos done. Our pictures turned out beautiful and we are so happy to have chosen them to be a part of our day. I would recommend them to anyone!

We were referred by a friend to Alexandra Meseke Photography. After browsing her website, we were astounded by her quality of work. We scheduled a meeting with her and in just a few moments we knew we wanted her and her husband Michael to shoot our wedding. They work as a great team together making sure that they captured all the important moments of our special day. They made us feel so at ease the whole day, it was like having one of our close friends shoot the wedding. They were amazing at orchestrating large groups of people and were comfortable in any situation. When we got our photos back we were blown away at the results. Alexandra and Michael were SO MUCH FUN to work with!
I was doubtful that I would find a photographer who was able to capture our wedding in a way that felt true to us but the moment I met Alexandra and Michael, I knew that they were perfect! Throughout our engagement shoot and on the wedding day, we felt like we were goofing around with friends. Friends that take incredible photos! We were able to have fun and enjoy our wedding - and they were there capturing every second of it! Alexandra and Michael have been a pleasure to work with. Alexandra was always super friendly and responsive via email, and really helpful to me when I was planning my wedding long-distance. On the day of, everyone in the wedding party was really scattered about and our hair/makeup was already finished before they arrived, but they were able to track down all the wandering groomsmen and improvise a lot of really great photos of everyone. The shots from the ceremony and the shots of the families and wedding party and my husband and I afterward were so beautiful, and they captured all of the excitement and happy emotions at the reception. Their style is very natural; the photos never look posed or forced. The colors are gorgeous and they are able to capture everyone at their best. I'm so glad we chose them!

Alexandra was communicative and fun, listened to our concerns, put us at ease, somehow learned everyone's name in our families and huge wedding party, and was generally just a dream to work with. For most people, hiring a wedding photographer is the only time in your life you will commission an artist - we're so glad we went with Alexandra. Alexandra & Michael Meseke are the best Western New York wedding photographers! They are incredibly talented, knowledgable, and accommodating. On top of it all, they are very lovely people. Alexandra & Michael were amazing! They made the whole experience of taking photos fun and easy. They are so easy to get along with and we felt like they were our best friends by the end of the wedding :) The photos turned out beautifully and we would happily recommend them to anyone!

Alexandra and Michael were everything we hoped for and more. Pre-wedding Alexandra was incredibly helpful in planning out the photography timeline, getting a clear list of important shots, and learning exactly what we were wanting in our photographs. She is approachable, flexible, organized, professional, and fun! That last bit was very important to me and my husband because we are definitely a couple of awkward ducks in front of a camera. Alexandra and Michael made the experience fun, light, playful, and easy. The product they produced was also amazing. The photos are so beautiful. The lighting, color saturation, composition are artistic but not over the top or unnatural. They captured tons of cute side moments and candid interactions as well as doing great "formal" portraits that didn't feel outdated or stiff. In terms of professionalism, these two are perfect. They always respond to emails, they show up on time, and they were so wonderful with my entire family. We also got our pictures very promptly after the wedding. I think it was like 3 weeks after the wedding that they already had our entire online album ready. We got a beautiful wood zip drive with all of our photos a few weeks after that. I can't say enough positive things about these photographers. I have been recommending them to everyone!

I can't say enough positive things about my experience with Alexandra and Michael of Alexandra Meseke Photography. We were referred to them by friends who had gotten married the year before us and from the moment my husband and I met Alexandra, we knew this was the photographer vendor we wanted to select. Alexandra was so easy to work with, she was extremely responsive, had great ideas and was so organized! When taking our engagement photos and on our wedding day, we both felt so comfortable with Alexandra and Michael- they are fun, creative, get to know you as a couple and so easy to work with!! On to the photos- they all came out amazing and we got them back to so prompt! The quality of the pictures were just perfect, we got to see all of our proofs online and on a USB drive so we can do what we want with them at any point. If you don't have a photographer for your wedding, don't hesitate and book Alexandra Meseke!!!

I think their photographs speak for themselves, but Alexandra and Michael are truly amazing. From the first meeting I knew they would be perfect. We were very nervous about doing an engagement shoot, but Alexandra made things so comfortable and easy. The day of the wedding was non-stop rain, but her and Michael were pros. They both got right out in the rain with us did their thing. Working with the both of them was fun and I couldn't imagine having anyone else.

I really can't say enough great things about Alexandra and Michael. First, and foremost, the pictures from my wedding came out better than I could have ever expected (even my picky, brutally honest, photographer sister agreed that the pictures are wonderful). Aside from that, Alexandra and Michael were simply great to work with. They showed up when we agreed, they did everything we asked, and even caught things we overlooked. I normally really hate posing for pictures, one of the reasons I didn't even bother with an engagement shoot, but Alexandra made the photo session with my new hubbie really really fun. We just ended up laughing the entire time and there was no chance to feel awkward or self conscious. The shoots we did before the ceremony and a bit during dinner are now part of our great wedding memories, and not just something we had to do. After the wedding we went away for two weeks, and in those two weeks I already received a link to all the photos and told my flash drive is on its way. I'm still shocked at how fast that was!

But in the end, they completely exceeded our expectations. As a bride or groom, you spend your entire day with your wedding photographer. They are there for all of the most special moments and because of that, you want them to feel like your friends, not just a wedding vendor. Alexandra and Michael more than accomplished that with us, as I am sure they do with all of their other lucky couples. Our wedding day was quite a bit colder and rainier than we were hoping for, but you would not know it by looking at our gorgeous pictures. Everyone in them looks incredibly happy and glowing - and that is because we were, thanks to Alexandra and Michael. They are so upbeat and fun. We had a huge wedding party with a lot of jokers, and Alexandra and Michael kept right up with them - making all of us laugh even though we were freezing our butts off! They fit right in, I even told my husband on our honeymoon that I missed hanging out with them as much as I missed our wedding party! Thank goodness they will be shooting my best friend\'s wedding in August (we recommended them to her, as we recommend them to EVERYONE who asks) - we can\'t wait to see them again!

We can't even begin to express how AMAZING Alexandra and Michael are. It has been almost three months since our wedding and we are still searching for the right words to tell them how much they mean to us. Every word, and sentence we formulate doesn't even begin to come close to the amount of gratitude we have. They blew us away.

We knew photography was the most important element of our wedding planning process. From our first meeting with them, we felt like they have been friends of ours for years. They are fun, energetic and made us feel so comfortable, we knew we were in the right hands.

On our wedding day we never felt like they were one of our vendors, I truly forgot that they weren't part of our wedding party. Some of my favorite moments from that day are Alexandra and Michael trying to get our very large and loud wedding party to get together. They are an absolute joy to work with, hilarious and will make you laugh, and most importantly not afraid to make a suggestion to get a great shot.

At the end of the whole process the images are one of the only tangible items from your special day. We are so unbelievably grateful for the amazing moments Alexandra and Michael captured. Our family and friends still have not stopped telling us how beautiful our photos are. Some friends have commented that they are the best they have ever seen.

There isn't a better wedding photographer out there. Alexandra is fast, responsive, and down right talented. They deliver all you dream of and more. We could talk all day about how wonderful they are, and without a doubt would recommend them to anyone. We look forward to finding a reason to work with them again.

Alexandra and her husband were amazing! We really could not have asked for anything more. We wanted a low-key stress-free photography experience and that is exactly what we got. From our first meeting I knew we had nothing to worry about. Alexandra answered all my questions quickly and she really helped guide me through the process (I was clueless), all of which made the wedding day smoothly. In addition to being top notch professionals, they are also so friendly and fun. My husband and I both felt instantly comfortable with them and our wedding parties loved them. Alexandra got our photos to us so quickly too - they were beautiful, creative, and unique. They were really able to capture the spirit of our wedding and it has been so fun to go back and look at all the photos. We could not recommend them highly enough!

I had been admiring Alexandra and Michael’s work and reading their glowing reviews for over a year by the time I got to meet them on my wedding day. I was sooo looking forward to meeting them and having the opportunity to work with them. They by far exceeded all of my expectations…and I haven’t even seen all of the pictures yet! Alexandra’s enthusiasm and professionalism helped to set a tone for the day and keep everything on track. It was so fun to watch her creativity and excitement when finding a perfect shot! Our entire family and wedding party could not stop talking about how impressed they were by our photographers (and how sad they were to see them leave at the end of the night)! We love the sneak peeks and cannot wait to see the photos in their entirety. Rochester is lucky to have Alexandra and Michael, we would welcome any chance to work with them again in the future!

Absolutely amazing! The photos are stunning. They are exactly what I wanted and what we discussed beforehand. Alexandra and her hubby are a dynamic duo. I would recommend them to anyone that doesn't want boring wedding pictures that look like all the other wedding pics you have seen. My pics look like a spread in a magazine. Her prices are totally reasonable and trust me, we shopped around. Her eye for detail and setting up the photo is unsurpassed. She made my day!!!

I have known Alexandra's work for years and my husband and I were so excited to be able to book them for our wedding last fall. I cannot tell you how good this decision was. To me, one of the most important part of the wedding was the photography as it is really one of the only things you have to really capture the day when all is said and done.

Alexandra and Michael's pictures were so far above and beyond my wildest dreams. We have so many amazing memories that really capture the spirit of the day: the many small moments that many people might miss, our guests, the emotion of the day and the fun too! They really didn't miss a thing. Plus they successfully wrangled my massive family into group shots without any trouble at all.

They made it easy for me to feel comfortable and were able to capture the goofy and fun side of my husband and our friends and family, while making me feel comfortable in all the pictures. They were also great about listening to our individual needs and wishes and translating that into beautiful memories of both our engagement shoot and wedding day.

They were totally organized, professional and incredible to work with. I cannot recommend them highly enough!!!

Let me start out in saying that there are not enough positive words in the English language to convey how amazingly talented Alex and Mike are and how wonderful they were to work with for our June 7th wedding in Skaneateles. From the beginning right to the end of the day I felt like Alex and Mike were part of our group of close friends - with really really ridiculously good photography equipment.

Photography was the most important element of our wedding. When we found Alex we were drawn to the way that her photos capture not only what’s visually happening, but the full range of emotion felt by each subject in the photo. I look back at our photos and I’m instantly transported back to how I felt in each frame. Though our wedding is sadly over, when I click through our photos it’s like I can experience it all over again, wherever I am.

I think there is always a bit of anxiety when you are selecting a wedding photographer. There is so much trust put in that person (or people) to capture the most important day in your life to date. I hear ya, I was there, too. But I can without a doubt promise you that if you are considering Alexandra Meseke Photography for your special day that you are working with true professionals that have such a profound love and understanding of the work they do. If that’s not good enough, THEY ARE AWESOME PEOPLE that you’ll wish were in your life all the time. (No lie, we had several friends wanting to just hang out with Alex and Mike. No camera required.)

I hope by the end of this review that it’s evident how much we continue to love and respect Alexandra Meseke Photography for the work that they do. You owe it to yourself and your future married self to look at their stunning blog, and keep them at the top of your list to document the most important events in your life.

I can't even begin to describe how happy my husband and I were with Alexandra and Michael! Even from our initial meeting with Alexandra we were impressed. It is so obvious how much she loves what she does and her passion definitely shows through personality and through the pictures. My husband hates having his picture taken but during our engagement shoot they had us laughing and completely relaxed and the pictures turned out phenomenal!

Our wedding was even better! Although the normal wedding hiccups with things like hair and makeup happened, Alexandra and Michael just rolled with it and made it seem as though everything was planned. Nothing felt rushed or stiff, even with the formal pictures the bridal party and our families were comfortable. During and even after the wedding the next day, guests kept commenting on how awesome our photographers were! Then once we got our pictures we were absolutely even more thrilled. Really the only way to explain is amazing!! Every single picture was perfect! They captured all of the perfect moments and more. Some of my favorite pictures I didn't even know they were for! Even the vibe of the wedding and personality of the guests and moments showed through the pictures, you really feel as though you are there experiencing what's going on while looking through them.

When we started our search for a photographer, we were looking for someone who took pictures that would blow you away, was professional while making us feel relaxed and comfortable, easy to work with, and captured not just the typical wedding shots but also the candid emotions and moments that told the story of our wedding day. Alexandra and Michael met and exceeded those expectations. I really cannot say enough wonderful things about them and would without a doubt recommend them to anyone.

Alexandra and Michael are your wedding photography dream come true. We ourselves are in the wedding photography industry and so when it came down to finding our own wedding photographer we were PICKY! Then, enter Alexandra Meseke Photography! Their work is stunning, crisp and full of love and as people they are exactly the kind of people you want to spend most of your wedding day with; they were fun, energetic, timely and professional and I really appreciated their focus on us as a couple and our family and friends. I was so impressed that only a few hours in Alexandra knew the names of most of our wedding party! That has got to be a super power (one of her many).

I wouldn't have asked for anything different and I have gone through my gallery AT LEAST once a day since I got it. These are not pictures people, they are moments! It's hard to describe but if you think of the quirky things that make up a special relationship between two people, they capture that exact moment in time to where your friends and family look at your photos and say, wow, that's just so.. YOU!

I need an entire website to tell you how amazing Alexandra and her husband are to work with. I found them through a mutual contact, and fell in love with her style immediately. Her pictures made me want to be friends with everyone in them, and I just love her style. And on the day of the wedding, she was perhaps one of the highlights. She made great, gentle suggestions and always checked in for my opinions/preferences if she had a question. She is hilarious, casual, and more than once I forgot she was my photographer and thought she was a bridesmaid that forgot to get dressed.

During the group photographs they wrangled my very ridiculous family and friends with such friendly professionalism we were done with the "compulsory" poses in what felt like 30 seconds. When we moved on to bridal party and then just couples shots they were a perfect complement to our group and had no problem bringing out the best in us. Even my camera-shy husband was slightly sad when picture time was over; the rest of us wanted it to go on for hours longer!

I've seen a few pictures so far (it's only been a week!), these pictures alone were worth the entire fee. Truly, all the other pictures will feel like bonuses when I get them back. While Alexandra was priced at the upper end of the photographers I considered, and it was one of the biggest pieces of our budget, I feel like I got an amazing bargain. She is talented, an absolute joy to work with, and I'm already making up reasons to hire her again. Doesn't everyone need a shopping trip to Wegmans documented for all time?

Words cannot describe what an amazing experience we had with Alexandra and Michael. From the moment they came to our apartment in NYC for our first meeting, we knew they were special. Not only in their talent as photographers but also as people. We instantly connected and still consider them close friends of ours. It made the entire photography experience THAT much better and more unique (on top of receiving breathtaking photos that we will have for a lifetime). We couldn’t have been happier with AMP for our wedding! We were picky about our vendors & Alexandra was very patient while we decided, having multiple phone calls & emails with me. (She was always super responsive!) In our initial consultation we had a good vibe with her & Michael; we liked their personalities as well as their beautiful work. We had a blast with them for our engagement shoot & loved the e-photos! They were a joy to have as our photographers at the wedding, & we got tons of compliments about how lovely they were -- friendly, polite, discreet, hard-working. They were so patient with my huge family, too. They are simultaneously laid-back & extremely committed to doing the best job they can for you, keeping up their energy & efforts all day/night. They really care & are intent on knowing what is important to you in advance & ensuring they carry that out. They will ask you in advance so give it some thought! I remember Alexandra saying they try to capture as close to all your weddings guests as they can & actually take time to study faces. I can't believe how many people they captured. It's a wonderful way to have the people/memories documented & they do an amazing job of this. They are a great team & are able to capture so much working in tandem. I was particularly thrilled with the photos of people dancing. Another thing to show their dedication -- my nephew was sick on the day of the wedding & in all the family photos he looks green & miserable. Months later I asked Alexandra if she could photoshop his face with 1 of the less-sickly photos of him that day. She not only did it, she did it quickly & did an amazing job! I should also add that they were very prompt in getting us our photos & that was much appreciated. I highly recommend AMP -- have already recommended them to a friend & will again. They are completely awesome people, are a wonderful presence on your wedding day, are very committed to making you happy, & do beautiful, outstanding work.

Alexandra and Michael were amazing to work with before, during and after the wedding! They worked with us to ensure we got the types of photos we wanted and as many of the photos on our shot list as possible...I think we actually got them all!! On the day of, Alexandra made sure to keep us on time as best she could and give us our options on photos when we were short on time, and (this is key) would sometimes just make the call if we couldn\'t decide, based on how badly she thought we wanted a certain shot. There are so many last minute calls you have to make that day, that it was nice to have somebody take charge every now and then for you. Afterwards, our photos came in just as I was starting to get wedding withdrawal-only a few weeks after the fact! And they worked with us on specific photos and added different angles of one of the shots on request, which was really nice of them to accommodate a self conscious bride. :-)

Alexandra and Michael were referred to me by one of my best friends who unfortunately was unable to actually use them for her own wedding! From the get-go they were both so easy-going, laid back and sweet so we knew that they would be extremely easy to work with. Alexandra was so accessible and easy to reach throughout the whole wedding process. Luckily, one of my other best friends got engaged soon after we met Alexandra and Michael so without even having our wedding I recommended them to her! We couldn't have been happier with the outcome of our pictures and since my best friend got married 2 weeks after me, it was so great to spend another day/night of pictures (and dancing!) with them because they are just an amazing team and so fun to be around! Book them!!!

We were fortunate enough to snag Alexandra for our wedding photographer in September, 2012. She was so friendly, she immediately made me feel at ease. She quickly responded to my emails and scheduled two phone calls prior to the event so that we could discuss details in person. The phone calls were so, so helpful. So customer service is A+!

As for the photographs themselves, they were perfect. We had very limited time to do our formal photos because it was threatening to downpour the whole day, but Alexandra never made us feel rushed and, again, the photos were amazing. She captured all of the important moments of the day, big and small, without making her presence known and we had several people comment on how professional she was afterward. She really was able to photograph everyone just enjoying the moment and we couldn't have been happier with our wedding photos. We've gotten tons of compliments on them.

In short, Alexandra is an amazing photographer and I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting quality photos of their wedding. Whenever we have kids, we'll definitely schedule an appointment with her!

We had the most amazing experience working with Alexandra Meseke Photography and her team. We selected Alexandra after looking through many many photographers because the photos we saw online were just beautiful! We got exactly what we were looking for. Our pictures are timeless, classic, elegant, dreamy, and completely captures who were are as a couple. One of the unique qualities is that they are a team of two, and photos of us were taken from every angle, so we had so many amazing choices to work with. It was so seamless to work with them with absolutely no stress. They are extremely punctual, organized, responsive, and absolutely kind company to work with. We felt so at ease, and had fun working with them. They listened to exactly what we wanted and also offered amazing suggestions to guide us through the process. They were also very flexible with their package and let us select exactly what we wanted to do. Alexandra is also great, because she was so open about us being a lesbian couple, and is so comfortable around people and knew how to shepard my large family into some amazing photo opps. To this day, they are completely responsive, write me emails for reminders, and did a beautiful blog post with pictures after the wedding that I could share right away with my friends! We got the most beautiful little package with a disk of ALL of our pictures almost right away. We were able to enjoy our pictures and post them right away. It was just perfect! I would recommend Alexandra Meseke Photography to any couple. Thank you for capturing our special day and giving us the gift of the photos for our life time!

Alexandra and Michael were a complete pleasure to work with, extremely professional and fun. Their work speaks for itself and I couldn't imagine having two better people and photographers capture amazing, candid moments on film, at my wedding as they had.

I would recommend doing an engagement session with them as it will make sure your chemistry will be outstanding on your wedding day as ours was. A month before our wedding, they came out to our venue, which was two hours away, to scout it with us which was also a huge help on the wedding day. We also included a manual Photo Booth which was a huge hit, worked flawlessly and was a nice addition as everyone could take memories home with them, as we also had copies for ourselves.

Alexandra did an AMAZINGGGGG job. You will NOT find a photographer more passionate about love and weddings. She TRULY loves her job. She was so responsive throughout my whole wedding planning, helping me to figure out scheduling and making me feel comfortable and relaxed. She even made my husband comfortable when she shot the engagement photos!!!! He hates posing. This made him so much more ready for the big day. The photos she took are so incredibly beautiful, I don't think real life was even as beautiful as the photos she made. But even more rare of a skill that she has was capturing the precious moments in between the poses; the candids during the ceremony and reception. Not every photographer can find those moments. Don't mess around when choosing your photographer, these moments ONLY HAPPEN ONCE.

High-level summary of this review is you should absolutely hire Alexandra and Michael to photograph your wedding!!

My husband and I walked out of our first meeting with the couple and immediately knew we would be booking them. We loved their work before meeting them, but after sitting and chatting with them over a cup of coffee, we realized that not only were they incredibly talented, but they were also extremely organized, professional and completely down to earth.

Our engagement shoot was something my husband and I were honestly not looking forward to (mostly because we felt like it was going to be a few hours of forced and fake smooching), but an afternoon with Alexandra and Michael turned out to be a total blast! Then before I knew it, our wedding weekend was here and Alexandra and Michael's presence made the day so easy and that much more enjoyable. My husband and I later talked about the "jitters" we had earlier on in the day and having Alexandra and Michael with each of us kept us both calm and laughing. They managed to keep our picture schedule running smoothly and on time without making it feel rushed, while also allowing us, our bridal parties and our family to have fun! Numerous guests throughout the evening commented on how fantastic the couple was and what a great job they were doing to document the evening while being discreet as well.

Alexandra and Michael started out as what I thought would be just another talented vendor for our wedding and turned out to be two talented friends. We adore them and can't say enough wonderful things about their work and our experience with them.

My husband and I rarely write reviews for anything, ever. That said, Alex and Michael are truly a dynamite duo. They were eager to make our bridal party happy and helpful in getting everyone on the same page in terms of timing of pictures, styles of photos we wanted and most of all smiles! Our bridal party was a big group with a lot of different personalities which they kept on schedule and with no drama. Many of my guests commented on how great the photographers were; how "on point" they were, even how friendly and personable they were. Overall our experience with Alexandra Meseke Photography was fantastic! I can't wait to use them again in the future.

I don't know where to begin in describing the experience my husband and I had with Alexandra and Michael. From the very beginning we felt as if we were meeting up with long time friends, immediately putting us at ease which helps as one can feel quite awkward while "posing" in front of a camera in the middle of Washington Square Park. All of the pictures by Alexandra and Michael were beautiful, natural and captured every moment. We couldn't be happier!

Alexandra and Michael were fantastic. They really fit in with the wedding party, and everyone responded really well to their excellent direction and guidance. When we weren't taking set photos though, we hardly knew they were there, and yet they managed to be everywhere! The photos they captured of our day were so wonderful, we will treasure them always. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, they made everything so easy through the whole pre-wedding to post-wedding process.

working as the Art Director of a wedding magazine, our wedding photos were our #1 priority. We couldn't be happier with the images we got from Alexandra. It was an absolutely amazing day, and our photos will seriously last us a lifetime of memories. One of my husbands favorite memories of the day was our portrait session with Alexandra and Michael- spending a little extra time with them was so fun, comforting, and felt like we were just spending time with great friends. If there was only one thing i could duplicate about my wedding, it would be our photographers, (well, other than the groom!) :)

Alexandra was an amazing photographer - professional, talented, personable, and very easy to work with. I really appreciated the personal touch she provided to everything - she even helped advise me on my wedding party's attire. She made a point of meeting with me and my fiance before working together so that we could get to know one another a bit - this makes a difference because your wedding photographer is a big part of your wedding day, and you want to make sure that you have good rapport with your photographer!

She works as a team with her husband, and I think that the familiarity that they have with one another really helps them work seamlessly as a team. She was very flexible with us, accommodating our desire to have our family pictures done as efficiently as possible, and our wedding pictures turned out beautifully. She was authoritative when she needed to be but generally very unobtrusive, making everyone feel very comfortable.

Alexandra was fantastic! She had done such a great job with our engagement photos that we were completely confident she would do a great job with our wedding as well and put ourselves entirely in her hands. She did not disappoint at all and kept us at ease throughout the process. Our photos make us so happy and we feel so lucky to have had such a great photographer! We would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Alexandra & Michael are just fabulous! They are both delightful to work with really do terrific work!!! They truly enjoy their job which is evident in outcome of their work. Throughout the whole process... from engagement session to getting our pictures and video back was a really good experience. They were flexible when needed, complete professionals and very helpful along the way. She had us relaxed and laughing the day of the wedding and captured so many great moments. Would recommend them to anyone needing a photographer!!

Working with Alexandra was amazing! From the engagement shoot to the wedding photos we are so very happy with her work. She manages to make you feel like a celebrity, like you are the center of the universe, while also making you feel completely relaxed in an incredible collaborative atmosphere. We feel like she really captured the sheer joy and happiness of our day and love that we will always have something to look back on and cherish. And the video! Oh the video! If there was an Oscar category for "Best Wedding Montage" Alexandra would WIN! A wedding day goes by in such a flash and it is nothing short of spectacular to see it again, set to music, with such a heartfelt and artistic touch. I don't think any other photographer could have given us something so special. Stop hesitating. Hire her. Now!

Alexandra was AMAZING! She arrived early to look around for good photo opportunities. She was good at directing me where I needed to look and how I needed to stand. She quickly picked up on everyone's names in our immediate families and bridal party which helped in organizing pictures. All of the pictures were beautiful and she put them up online for my friends and family to view. Our DVD of pictures arrived within a couple weeks after the wedding. She is wonderful to work with and has a great energy about her. You can tell she loves her job and loves creating beautiful images. I would recommend her to anyone and already have!

I just can not say enough about Alexandra Meseke and her gorgeous photos for our wedding.
It was really important to me that our photos reflected the actual day that we were celebrating and note a staged or idealized version of our day. She managed to take that direction and still give us photos that not only captured but truly elevated the emotion of the day.

She was always there when I needed her but never felt obtrusive. She answered all phone calls and emails promptly hen we were prepping, and was prepared with everything she needed on the day for both herself and her assistant.

Her post production and color correction was also brilliant.

I just cant say enough good things about her.

Alexandra and her husband are fun! They are an amazing couple, an inspiration to teamwork, and phenomenal photographers. We came away with lovely photographs from our engagement shoot and our wedding. Everyone was blown away by how beautiful our wedding looked on Alexandra's blog. I have recommended her to everyone I know who is planning a wedding.
