Alexandra made me feel like a princess on my wedding day! Her airbrush makeup was perfect for me and I showed her photos of the air style that I was looking for and she was able to reproduce it but better. I appreciated her photos and timelapse video afterwards and highly recommend her work. I’ll cherish the photos of my wedding and the moments leading up to it getting ready with her. Thank you Alex! -

Great work!
I can’t say enough great things about all of our stylists but Faith was honestly incredible. None of us felt rushed and we were able to ask for touch ups and changes with ease. We had so much fun getting ready and we looked amazing -

Alex is so sweet and thoughtful, she made me feel so at ease and comfortable during our shoot. It's hard not to notice all the little special touches she puts into the sets and props. Everything felt magical and dreamy. Her talents with hair and makeup were excellent! I was feeling so beautiful. She also does flower crowns! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone for your special day. She will be sure to take the best care of you! -

Alex had handled this day so professional while we had wedding photo shoot down the beaches here on Oahu, The rain started pouring out of no where so working with young kids & a whole bunch of bridesmaids & bride she pulled it off. it turned out to be beautiful pictures & a memorable day. -

Out of State Wedding !
Alex flew in to do the makeup and hair for all events leading up to wedding day. Then all hair and makeup for Wedding. Every person was happy with hair and makeup ! She has a great personality that puts you at ease when tensions are high and her work is professional and what you ask for. I highly recommend her and very thankful she was able to be apart of our Wedding days ! -

Wonderful Bridal Experience
I'm so happy I found Alexandra & Co. on Wedding Wire! I had a very small socially distanced COVID-era wedding, but she truly made me feel and look beautiful for the special day! She was very accommodating and flexible, which was so key for a wedding in the current times. She was able to replicate exactly the hair and makeup I was hoping for and I felt so comfortable during the entire process. I recommend her for any wedding or special occasion, big or small! -

The BEST experience
I am so lucky and happy I Found Alexandra & co. on wedding wire! Everything about my experience was perfect from the convenience of her coming to my home, her relaxed friendly personality, a hairstyle that was exactly what I wanted, and beautiful makeup That was water proof and lasted through all my happy tears all day! She did a great job putting my Haku lei on, and my curled hair lasted through an entire day outside. Her great work shows that she has lots of bridal experience! I have never felt so pretty, and my hair and makeup looked awesome in my wedding photos! -

Want to look like your very best self?!
Alexandra did both my mom and I's hair and makeup. This was both our first time having this done by a professional. On top of that, this was a destination wedding so we didn't have time for a trial run. That didn't matter because she did a fantastic job! We looked and felt beautiful! Thank you, Alexandra! -

Our artist was amazing! She worked quickly with a lot of hustle and bustle going on around us. My hair and makeup were perfect and lasted throughout the long hot day without need for touchups. I was very pleased with the services and would use them again in a heart beat!

Utterly amazing!
Alexandra helped to make me feel so beautiful! It was the first time I really felt like a bride:) she was super flexible(even when our date got changed the night before) and really is a one stop shop. She helped to make my entire day utterly amazing! She had everything covered and I would recommend her company to any bride/bridal party. My hair and makeup held up for the entire ceremony and for pictures afterward! We also got in room massages for myself and my new husband after our ceremony and they were the best massages we have ever had!!!! -

When I wanted my makeup changed slightly from what she had originally done she was very accommodating and I ended up being very happy with the end result! Exceeded my expectations!
Alexandra and Sheri did such a wonderful job not only for me but for everyone in my bridal party.
Since I live in California and I had my destination wedding in a Hawaii, I was unable to do a trial and was putting my faith in them to do my hair and makeup how I imagined.
I was so impressed and pleased with their services! My hair was absolutely gorgeous and looked exactly like the Pinterest picture I showed her! Also, my makeup was done so flawlessly and in a timely manner. Everyone was complimenting me on it all day. My bridesmaids raves about their hair/makeup too, they didn’t want to take I off lol. It wasn’t over done or caked on either, and it lasted until the end of the night. They were both so fun to work with, and made it as least stressful as possible.
I would highly recommend Alexandra and her team for future services and to my friends/family. They do amazing work! -

Prom hair and makeup
Booked an appointment for hair and makeup and got Alexandra as our stylist. She was amazing! We asked for simple, natural makeup and an up do for hair. Alexandra nailed it! My daughter felt relaxed and was absolutely elated with the results!!! I full heartedly recommended Alexandra, as she is friendly, professional and efficient! Complete service with ALOHA! Alexandra was referred to us by another makeup artist the day before my daughter’s prom. We were so happy that she was available! Alexandra was very professional and finished within the requested time frame. My daughter was so happy with her hair and makeup and looked so beautiful for her prom! Amazing work!
My daughters prom was a success! Her makeup and hair was flawless. She looked so.....beautiful! Alexandra is super sweet, very professional and her work is amazing!! She was able to accommodate all our needs, even with a very short time frame. For it being our first time meeting Alexandra, by the time she was done it felt like we had known her forever. Alexandra did my hair and makeup as well as my mom’s hair for my sisters wedding on the north shore. All I can say is WOW! Neither of us came in with a plan for our hair or makeup - she asked us a couple of questions and created fantastic updos and makeup. We looked glamorous and her bright and bubbly personality made our day! -

Alexandra was awesome! She came to me with limited notice. I showered her a photo and it came out exactly how I wanted. My hair and make up held. I eloped so the ceremony was not big but my hair and make up held up all night! -

Alex was super responsive to my last minute request for a hair and makeup artist for my small north shore wedding! Her makeup was super natural and flawless and my hair stay put for hours!

I had a very mixed experience with Alexandra & Co.
Pros: 1. Makeup was done really well, for all of us. 2. They captured the exact hairstyle that I asked for.
Cons: 1. The hairstyles didn't really stay. After my trial, which I had scheduled before I attended a wedding as a guest, I watched my hair fall out over the course of the night, turning into a massive mess of exposed bobby pins and frizzy braiding. When I talked to Alexandra about it, she did not offer any specific assurances that this would not be the case on my wedding day--other than to tell me such a thing had never happened before--and also didn't offer any compensation or reduction in fee for this embarrassment. Although the hair on my wedding day held better, there were still stray strands of hair that began to poke out and make the bun look a lot messier just a couple of hours after the artists had completed their work. 2. I found Alex really difficult to get ahold of. She's not actually living in Hawaii anymore, but instead contracts out makeup artists from her home in Florida, and I often had to do a combination of text, phone, and email to get though to her. 3. The artists were, respectively, 40 minutes and an hour and ten minutes late on the wedding day. This created a very stressful situation for my wedding coordinators, it robbed me of important cushion time between finishing, getting dressed, and first look that is used to celebrate and relax with bridesmaids, see the venue finished, etc., and robbed my sister and my mom of photos getting me dressed with their own hair and makeup done. Alex never reached out to address this issue either, or to ask for feedback about how the event had gone after the fact. -
