Hidden Gem

We’re so excited to be having our wedding at Aldie Mansion! From the moment we toured the venue, we were blown away by its historic charm and beautiful gardens—it truly feels like a hidden gem. The space is elegant, romantic, and full of character.

Working with Jeffrey A. Miller Catering has also been a fantastic experience so far. Their attention to detail, menu options, and professionalism have made the planning process smooth and enjoyable.

We can’t wait to celebrate our big day here and know it’s going to be unforgettable!

The greatest team!

I could go on and on about how fabulous the entire crew at Aldie Mansion was! From the first tour we had with Kim to our planning experience with Nicole to our actual wedding weekend/day with Desiree, every step of the way was done to perfection. Kim Bates was extremely helpful at the beginning, answering my many questions and preparing us for our food tasting and overall event planning. Nicole Potts was the best event designer we could have asked for. She made our day so special, and truly took care of us at each and every turn. Nicole’s attention to detail is unmatched - I truly never felt stressed, because I knew Nicole always had my back. We needed a few accommodations for some of our guests and she was more than happy to help out to ensure all our guests had the best time. Nicole and the team also made sure that our Italian Cookie Table was displayed and executed perfectly – not a small ask, and it was down exactly as we imagined!

At our rehearsal and wedding day, Desiree made sure everything was executed to perfection. She continuously checked in on us to bring us food or drinks and make sure we had everything we needed/wanted. Because we didn’t do a first look, we weren’t able to catch our cocktail hour, but Desiree made sure all our hors d'oeuvres were in the bridal suite waiting for us, and made sure to give us time just us between the ceremony + reception. It was so thoughtful, and we truly appreciated that time together (and the food). Speaking of the food, JAM catering hit it out of the park! Everything was delicious – we looked around at one point, and dinner plates were completely empty! Aldie Mansion and the team at JAM made our day so beyond special. We are so glad we chose this venue – it was an absolute dream!

Honestly, it was perfect!

I truly cannot imagine a better place to have a wedding reception than Aldie Mansion. The Mansion itself is magnificent. It rained all day the day of my daughter’s wedding but no one even noticed because the venue was so spectacular. Our event coordinator Monika from JAM Catering is top notch. Her attention to detail involving the planning, the presentation of the food, and her management of the events of the day and the staff from beginning to end was absolutely incredible. And the food! The menu offerings, the presentation and the quality of the food was AMAZING! Many guests commented on the delicious food, but many also commented on the efficiency and professionalism of the staff. One guest said he had been to about 30 weddings in the last 10 years and had never seen service like we received. I cannot overstate the effect that this particular detail can have on the entire wedding. The farm to table aspect was very special and really appreciated by our guests. Each staff person that we encountered was just delightful from beginning to the very end. We also used the JAM Catering in-house florist, Buttercup for our flowers. Darlene was an absolute dream to work with and she created the most stunning floral arrangements we could possibly imagine. Our guests were blown away by the beauty of her arrangements. It is hard to express our complete delight in the quality of everything we enjoyed from JAM Catering at the Aldie Mansion. Everything, and I mean everything, came together for a wedding that was, in the words of many of our guests, “just perfect”.

Working with JAM Catering and Aldie Mansion has been such a wonderful experience as I've been preparing for my fall wedding. Every time I visit the venue, I fall in love with the aesthetic again. And the food is INCREDIBLE. I can't wait to have my family and friends experience it.

Planning the Tasting

Our wedding planner was very helpful with the next step of us planning our wedding, the food tasting! She helped explain everything with the different menu options and all that would be involved. She set us up with how to pick our date and time for the tasting. The whole process was very smooth and made us very excited!

Love this venue!

We just had our wedding at Aldie last weekend and everything was flawless! We went through a lot of changes over the last two years due to covid but our planner was extremely accommodating and flexible. The venue was beautiful and everyone was raving about it, and a few people said it was their favorite venue to date. Thanks again for everything!

In Love with this Venue!

We were sold on Aldie Mansion within 2 minutes of our first visit and feel so lucky to have had our wedding at this gorgeous venue. The building itself from the outside is simply stunning and the unique rooms of the mansion, renovated ballroom, amazing outdoor space with the tree, and location fit all of our needs. I cannot recommend this venue enough as well as JAM catering and their staff!

Aldie Mansion was the first and only venue that my husband and I looked at. The historical architecture and decor, modern ballroom, and beautiful outdoor spaces made it the perfect place for our ceremony and reception. Our guests were absolutely blown away by the mansion. The Jeffrey Miller coordinators, catering, and floral made the planning and the wedding day run so smoothly.

We had our wedding at Aldie Mansion in September 2017 and couldn't have asked for a better day! My husband and I are both architects, so we were drawn to the unique charm of the Aldie Mansion, and knew immediately that we wanted to get married there. We loved that we had the entire mansion to roam around, and all the guests loved being able to play lawn games and mingle on the outside terrace with the band for cocktail hour. JAM catering provided amazing food! The hor d'oeuvres were a great variety, and they had a ton of add on options to choose from. The main meat and cheese table was absolutely amazing! It was great that they also provided a cake - and the flavors and decorations to choose from were perfect for us! We received tons of compliments on the venue, food, and overall day from our guests. We would recommend Aldie Mansion to anyone!

Our wedding was on July 29th, 2017. It was a beautiful summer night and our guests took advantage of the beautiful Aldie Mansion. The grounds were in pristine condition, the staff was amazing, and the food was delicious. Kim Bates was my wedding planner and she went above and beyond. I had many questions leading up to the wedding and she always responded with minutes which made planning SO easy. She was accommodating to all the specific needs of my friends and family and always made me feel like she had EVERYTHING under control. If I were to do it all again, I would pick Aldie Mansion 1000x and beg to have Kim as my planner again.

We had the wedding of our dreams at Aldie Mansion on 6/23/17. The venue is absolutely breathtaking, with so many amazing spots for photos (even the few I’ve gotten back so far have been great). Jeffrey Miller Catering is the exclusive caterer for this venue. We were very happy with JAM for creating the best day. We were impressed with the attention to detail present in our very first meetings with Kim, our event coordinator. We had a private tasting in March, and we were absolutely blown away by the quality of the food. Kim did a good job of explaining everything we needed to do for the day of the event in our final planning meeting. She was also available via e-mail or phone to answer some of the last-minute questions I had. We were able to drop off lots of decorations, signage, favors, etc. the day before, and Kim even allowed us to set some stuff up that day ourselves. This was because there was not another event already scheduled that day, but I really appreciated her being flexible.

The day of our wedding, the JAM staff was just excellent. Kim made sure we had everything we needed, and she worked flawlessly with our other vendors to make sure the night flowed perfectly. There was an awesome spread of cocktail hour snacks set up for just the bride and groom right after the ceremony to give us a moment alone to soak everything in. This was a really great touch. Our guests raved (and are STILL raving) about the food. We did warm chocolate chip cookies on the way out at the end of the night, and they were a hit. The fact that this venue is a BYO was a huge plus also! Aldie Mansion and JAM allowed us to have the wedding of our dreams—I would HIGHLY recommend using Aldie Mansion or another JAM venue!!

Absolutely amazing venue! The day of event planner you receive when you sign the contract is super helpful in all of your planning questions and the day of event coordination. The food was excellent! The grounds are beautiful. Would definitely recommend for any wedding.

This venue is extremely beautiful and you most-likely will need to book over a year in advance for the peak months. My fiance and fell in love with the venue as soon as we opened the doors. Of course the Romeo and Juliet balcony from the bridal room really sealed the deal for my fairy tale venue. The ballroom is elegant and quite big so there is enough room to dance. I can't wait to have my wedding there in October. Happy Planning!!

My husband and I got married at the Aldie Mansion on 8/29/2015 and it was an ABSOLUTE FAIRYTALE!!! We originally looked at the Fonthill Castle, but we were sold the second we walked into the Aldie Mansion. For one thing, we loved the air conditioning. August is usually HOT, so it was necessary. The second We walked in, it was like a breath of fresh air. Music immediately surrounded us and the mansion radiated elegance. I love that you get the WHOLE place to use! Your very own mansion and you get to feel like royalty.
Kim Bates was our main point of contact and she helped make our dreams reality. They were easy to work with and things went flawlessly. We liked that this venue has you bring/ order the alcohol because it saved us a LOT of money and we got to take the extra home. A year later, we still have some wine left over! Better to have more than run out ; ) The first thing I heard during cocktail hour was how INCREDIBLE the food was. I read a lot of reviews online and I knew I could never book a venue with mediocre food. I paid extra for the mashed potato bar and it was TOTALLY worth it. We also had other food upgrades and we would do it all over again! (Ice cream sundae bar, charcuterie, etc.)
We loved the food and venue SO much that we went back for our first wedding anniversary, just the two of us, and had a private dinner while watching our wedding video. I love this venue SO much!

My husband Ryan and I had a beautiful wedding here on May 28, 2016. The grounds are stunning, including the old oak tree out back where we had our ceremony. At Aldie, JAM catering does the food and also provides a wedding coordinator. Our coordinator, Darlene, was the best! She answered all of our questions leading up to the big day, and on the wedding day, made sure everything ran smoothly. The feedback from our guests was phenomenal. Lots of folks said the setting was great, food was delicious, and the event was fun. We love Aldie!

We fell in love with Aldie Mansion the first time we saw it because it was historic and romantic. We signed the contract with Heritage Conservancy and Jeffrey A Miller catering more than a year before our wedding date. The tasting event was a gastronomic experience (advise- do not eat the day prior) and helped us pick out menu items. About 3 months prior to our wedding date, Kim Bates, our wedding coordinator, set the wheels in motion and everything came out perfectly. She went through our menu selections thoroughly and made very helpful suggestions. She drew a map of the venue so we could plan where everything was going to be. She mapped out the entire event by the minute. She suggested having dance sets in between dinner courses. She was very flexible regarding personal decorations we wanted to use.
While we were getting ready, one of the bridesmaids had a hemming emergency and we needed an iron. Kim found one and delivered it to the bride's suite.
It down-poured the entire afternoon of our wedding day. We planned for a ceremony outdoors. Half an hour before our ceremony was about to start, the rain turned into a drizzle. Kim and her team quickly moved chairs out to the patio. We had a wonderful, intimate, super-romantic ceremony by the fountain.
The toast while we were on the balcony made it even more special.
We could not have picked a better venue. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful the venue was, how good the food was, and how well the festivities flowed. Kim, Tessa, and their team did an awesome job and we can't say enough superlatives about them. If you are thinking of getting married in Bucks County, you will be missing out if you did not have it at the gorgeous, historic Aldie Mansion, savor JAM catering's wonderful menu, and work with a wonderful team of wedding professionals.

What an amazing venue! Amazing wedding planner (Darlene), amazing staff, delicious food, beautiful cake! The wedding was everything I could imagine and more. Our guests are still talking about how amazing everything was. I highly recommend this venue!!

I had my wedding recently at Aldie Mansion, catered by Jeffery Miller Catering and I loved it! One of the many many compliments I received were about the food and how delicious it is and we were catering to a very picky crowd! The hors d’oreuves and the entrees were perfectly fresh and did not resemble anything that came from a package. My husband went especially nuts for the cheesesteak eggrolls and micro cheeseburger and fries.

Another reason I selected Aldie was the beautiful décor. The historic touch combined with the beautiful landscape (which was even better with snow) made it romantic for the photo shoots.

Let’s not forget the staff. They were fantastic as well. All the food were served quickly and dishes were removed promptly as well as the cleaning at the end of the wedding. I can’t say enough good things about Aldie, Jeffery Miller Catering and their staff. It exceeded our expectations and more! It was a home run!!

Our reception at Aldie was perfect - we couldn't have asked for a better evening. The staff was AMAZING - especially Shelley who helped us extensively before the big day. Everything ran smoothly and on time and we were really able to enjoy the party! The tables were set beautifully and the staff followed all our instructions. The mansion was STUNNINGLY beautiful all lit up at night and our guests loved the ambiance and set up. The library ended up being the perfect size for a mostly indoor cocktail hour. The food was perfect and the apple cider donuts at the end were fabulous. We would wholeheartedly recommend this venue!!

This is a beautiful venue for a special occasion. We had both of our daughters' bat mitzvah receptions at Aldie. The food is the best you will find. The place is so beautiful it doesn't need much added decoration. And the staff is fantastic. That is why we came back.

As a new bride I know how challenging it can be to pick a venue. You want the perfect place at an affordable cost, and you also want to work with people who truly care about your needs, wants, and budget. I had such a pleasant experience with Aldie Mansion. Shelley was our planner and she really made our wedding dreams come true. She was able to get us everything we wanted in our budget. She never said we can't afford something. She always found a way to work with us. The grounds are incredible and the setting is the most romantic setting I have ever seen. Our guests are still raving about the staff, food, the mansion, and that fabulous tree! They have menu options and prices for everyone's budget and you will not be disappointed with this venue. Also, come wedding day... have no fear! They will make sure everything runs as smoothly as you planned and these girls(the planners) really know what they are doing! I would give them 10 stars if that was an option :)

Words cannot describe the wonderful experience I had with Aldie Mansion on my wedding day August 9th, 2014. The grounds at Aldie are stunning and well maintained. The mansion is unique and my guests loved wandering the mansion during the night. The pictures from the ceremony are stunning, the lighting and grounds make it seem like a fairytale. Crissi was in charge of our event and she was fabulous from the very beginning. She answered all my questions and really made me feel comfortable during the whole planning process. Crissi was not pushy or loud, she was a calm force. Crissi took care of all the details during the day and I never had to worry about anything the day of because Crissi would have solved any problems that came up. I would highly recommend Aldie Mansion to any bride and groom looking for a wonderful location for their wedding!!

I recommend Aldie Mansion to any bride that wants a memorable wedding location. We had our wedding reception at Aldie in December 2013 and loved everything about it. Our guests fully enjoyed exploring the entire mansion during cocktail hour. We received many compliments about how beautifully decorated the mansion was for Christmas.

Absolutely beautiful venue. My guests cannot stop raving about it. My photographer was overwhelmed with how many beautiful areas there were within the building and the surrounding grounds. Every stage of the event flowed smoothly and my guests were always kept happy, I didnt need to worry about a thing. The staff had everything under control and even placed my personal decorations throughout the mansion. They were very accomodating to making my event special and uniquely mine. There is nothing cookie-cutter about a wedding at Aldie Mansion, its truly 100% yours. Its your special day and they make sure of it.

Wow! That is all I can say...Jeffrey Miller Catering company and their staff made our Wedding Reception "unforgettable"!!
From the moment we step foot into Aldie Mansion we we're blown away. We booked our event and with in one month our event planner contacted us. She was there with us taking care of all details all the way to the day of our wedding.
Our wedding was on site and just magical, it was under the amazing oak tree in the back yard of the mansion, followed by a cocktail hour flowing between the mansion room and out door patio.
Dinner was amazing, our guests are still talking about the Short ribs!

Our reception was held at the Aldie Mansion on 12.11.12....WOW!!
The food was amazing, the event planner took care of every catering detail, the staff was professional, the Holiday Decorations were Beautiful.
I would recommend this Venue and Caterer Jeffrey Miller Catering to everyone!!

My Wedding was at Aldie Mansion on December 9th 2011, what an great night!! We started out with a ceremony in the Great Hall complete with a 20 foot tall Christmas tree, the Holiday decorations are amazing! Our Ceremony was followed by a cocktail hour with the tastiest hors d' oeuvres and a seafood risotto station that our guests are still raving about. We then invited our guest into the main Ballroom for dinner and dancing. Jeffrey Miller Catering certainly lived up to their name, our food was so good!
From the minute we booked our reception we were in great hands, we had an event planner to help with all the catering details, she was present the day of the reception as well.
There was not a detail that was missed....our event was seamless!!
I would recommend Aldie Mansion over and over again!!

I had my ceremony and reception at Aldie Mansion on a Friday night last September. What a wonderful experience!!! My Aldie wedding planner was always available for the many months preceding the wedding, right on target when it came to recommending vendors, and was really creative when it came to some unique menu ideas. And speaking of the food, I can't say enough about Jeffrey Miller's cuisine. The hors d'oeuvre and entree choices all sounded so great it was hard to narrow down the menu, And the day of the wedding, the food was beyond our expectations. The cake they made was exquisite and really yummy. We were going to save the top tier for our first anniversary -- but OH NO, we ate it for breakfast the next morning! The mansion bills itself as a "Tudor treasure", and that's an understatement. It is truly gorgeous indoors and out!

Jeffrey Miller Catering and Aldie made our wedding unforgettable. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and the food was delicious, we've gotten so many compliments from guests! The staff and our wedding planner, Shelley, were so accommodating and helped everything to run smoothly. We especially appreciated the two full meals, salad, appetizers and wedding cake top to take home with us after the wedding as we hardly got to taste the delicious food on the day of. However, we did eat plenty from the gelato bar and cookies-to-go...YUM. Thank you so much Aldie and JMC!!!

Our wedding at Aldie Mansion was absolutely perfect. When we were looking for a venue we researched over 40 places in the area and actually made appointments with about 10 of them. We kept coming back to Aldie Mansion and comparing every other place we visited to it so we decided it was worth the extra money to have our wedding there. We have no regrets at all.

Dream Wedding Venue

We are so excited to be getting married at Aldie Mansion! The venue is absolutely stunning. We fell in love with the historic charm of the mansion and the gorgeous gardens in the courtyard. Menu tasting was incredible

We went to a tasting for our wedding at Aldie Mansion and JAM catering killed it. There was so many food options and allergens listed for all ahead of time which was great because I am vegetarian and my mother is gluten free. They have taken away all my fears regarding dietary restrictions for our wedding.

Stunning venue and fabulous catering

My future husband and I are getting married at Aldie Mansion this year and recently attended our group wedding tasting at the venue. JAM Catering is the exclusive caterer, and boy did they knock it out of the park. The group tasting was a great opportunity to test out a wide variety of JAM’s catering menu – including numerous options for signature cocktails, butlered hors d’oeuvres, cocktail stations, dinner entrees, and cake (shout out to the Arnold Palmer pound cake with buttercream frosting and lemon custard filling)! Each dish lived up to JAM’s renowned reputation, and we left with full stomachs and full hearts. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and an added bonus was the opportunity to chat with other couples getting married at the venue. Aldie Mansion and the its grounds are truly breathtaking, and the tasting was a great opportunity to see what our venue will look and feel like on our wedding day. The tasting affirmed we made the right decision picking Aldie Mansion and JAM catering, and made us even more excited for our big day!

Hidden gem of Doylestown

We are getting married this August and cannot wait to show off the hidden gem of Doylestown! The mansion is beautiful, historic, and one of a kind. But what really sold it for us is the beautiful, spacious, and light and airy ballroom. And of course…the water fountains and THE TREE 😍 there really is no venue like this and Jeffery A. Muller catering runs an incredible event. Crissi our coordinator could not be nicer or more helpful or more flexible. I really am so excited and can’t say enough good things!

Gorgeous and has all the necessary parts

We are very excited to have our wedding reception here this August! The mansion is really nice and one of a kind. They give you a lot of guidance and flexibility with decorating. The ballroom is big and filled with light. No better place to get married in Doylestown!

Perfect day!

Everything at Aldie Mansion was so beautiful. We had to reschedule our wedding several times and the staff at Aldie was very flexible and helped us finally have our perfect day. Everyone commented on how unique the venue was. I especially loved the bridal room with the balcony overlooking the patio. The catering from JAM was delicious and the waitstaff, coordinator, and captains took care with every detail and made my life so easy. Highly recommend this venue!

Our wedding at Aldie Mansion was exactly what we imagined and more! Having our wedding in December, we were very impressed by their holiday decor which was elegantly decorated in each room of the mansion. It also snowed on our wedding day, further highlighting the beauty of the venue and created an extra special ambiance. The food and service was exceptional. We loved that the menu options varied from the traditional wedding food that you see at every other wedding. Bar service was quick, cocktail hors d'oeuvres were plentiful, dinner was delicious and efficient, and the cake was out of this world! Planning was so easy, special thanks to our coordinator! So much so that we kept thinking we weren’t doing enough work leading up to the big day, but it was really just that the Jeffrey Miller team had it completely under control. It was so nice to not have to worry about a single thing the day of the wedding and just enjoy it to the fullest. Guests cannot stop raving about this unique and beautiful venue!

My fiance and I chose the Aldie after looking at only one other location, and fell in love. The mansion itself is breathtaking both inside and outside, and the staff clearly knew how to get things done. Having a knowledgable and experienced staff was really important to us since we were planning our wedding from overseas and couldn't really show up at the venue to work through details. Kim, our event coordinator, even Skyped with us!

We were able to drop off items (alcohol, decor, etc) the night before *our wedding was on a Friday night* and on the day of the wedding we were allowed to come to the venue as early as 1pm (the wedding was at 7pm) to start getting ready. We had both our ceremony and reception on site, which felt very smooth and natural. The girls had a gorgeous bridal suite upstairs to get ready in, and the guys had a sort of lounge (complete with TV, video games and foosball) to get ready in.

I can't stress enough how amazing the staff were, leading up to and on the wedding day. When we came with extra flowers, they found extra vases and put them out. They put out pretty much everything for us :). Tessa, our "captain", even created a mini-bouquet for me to throw in what I think was under five minutes when I decided that I didn't want to throw my real bouquet! My guests loved the servers and especially the bartender, who many remembered by name.

Overall, you really get a lot of bang for your buck here and can rest easy that everything is being taken care of!

My wedding this past weekend at the Aldie Mansion was absolutely perfect. The guests were raving about the beauty of this place and I couldnt agree more. From the moment we saw the property we knew it was perfect for our wedding. Kim was our planner and she was beyond helpful especially the day of the event. She handled everything for us and the day was smooth and seamless. The catering was delicious our guests loved the paella display and raved that the short ribs melted in your mouth. The macaron wedding favors were perfect and I am still enjoying the leftovers days after the event! I could not say more positive things about this place!

I LOVED Aldie Mansion. All of the guests were gushing on how beautiful the setting was and how delicious all the food was. I found them really flexible on the menu - we picked a few things from different price points and they worked with us to make it the exact menu that we wanted. I was married at Aldie Mansion on June 21st, 2013. The entire experience was overwhelmingly wonderful. The mansion is so beautiful. We had so many guests raving about ‘the best wedding they had ever been to’. Everyone who has seen the photos online that our friends and family posted, has said (first: how beautiful I was) how amazing the mansion is! The landscaping is so well it done, it heeds no further decoration. The lights in the ballroom that are spotlight the centerpieces really make the place come alive. It was wonderful to have the ceremony and the reception all in one place. \r\n\r\nThe food was so good! We chose to do a sit down dinner with braised brisket and fontina chicken options. Even the bread and Caesar salad were complimented! \r\n\r\nThe staff was amazing. Our coordinator was so helpful and knowledgeable from the very beginning. I haven’t been to many weddings, and had never been in one- so I needed all the help I could get! She asked me all the right questions, and was so understanding and flexible when I had a change or a last minute addition (night before the rehearsal!). \r\n\r\nIt was the best day of my life, and I contribute so much of it to Aldie. \r\n

Aldie Mansion was my dream venue. After looking unsuccessfully at venue after venue, the minute we stepped on Aldie's beautifully manicured grounds, I knew this was the place we would be married. Everything about the mansion is unique. From the gardens and the large windows of the reception hall, to the Juliette balcony and bridal suite, to the library and the groom's room, it was beyond perfect. The day of the wedding, Aldie and JAM (their exclusive caterer) exceeded our expectations in helping us create a wonderful bounty of delicious food, and a great time for all our guests. If you are looking for something beyond a hotel ballroom or banquet hall, Aldie can make your dreams come true!

Our Wedding was At Aldie Mansion In July of 2011. My guests are still raving about the mansion, service and food. We had our wedding on site, it was followed by Hors d'oeuvres and Cocktails on the back patio with the fountain running. Our planner, who is included with Jeffrey Miller Catering brought us right upstairs to the Brides Room for refreshments and hors d'oeuvres. We decided to see each other before our ceremony to have pictures done, Aldie Mansion was very flexible with allowing us to come in early. This way we got to really enjoy our cocktail hour and guest because of their flexibility.
We enjoyed a great dinner and dessert and spent hours of fun with our loved ones.
Aldie Mansion is a great venue and catering is exceptional!

It sounds like a cliché, but as soon as I walked into Aldie Mansion I could easily envision having my wedding there. It's elegant and sophisticated without being stuffy. Kim, our coordinator, was great. She answered all my questions along the way and really helped make the day a success. Our guests raved about the location and the food. The courtyard outside was perfect for cocktail hour and the ballroom fit our crowd of near 150 flawlessly. I absolutely loved the ceremony space outside too - you can't go wrong out front by the fountain, out back near the sprawling oak tree or near the gazebo. All of the spaces require minimal decoration! We were able to coordinate dropping off alcohol and decor beforehand, which saved a lot of time. We were also sent off with lots of extra food, which was a lifesaver - we didn't have to cook before leaving for our honeymoon! All of the staff made us feel welcome and kept the evening running smoothly. I highly recommend Aldie Mansion - it made our wedding dreams come true!

As someone who grew up in Doylestown, it was a no brainer to consider Aldie Mansion for our wedding even though we live in Philadelphia. The gorgeous interior and exterior of the property made for unbelievable photographs and an amazing outdoor ceremony in the front courtyard. Our guests loved enjoying the cocktail hour on the back patio and roaming the property to take in all the sights. The staff was really accommodating by allowing us to spend much of the day there leading up to our wedding. This made it super easy because it eliminated lots of travel. They were very helpful at the end of the evening and the clean up/pick up the following day was simple. Our point person had great communication throughout all of the planning and the person on call that evening took care of everything. We'd love to relive the evening again and again!

The Aldie Mansion was the most beautiful wedding venue I've ever seen, and I was thrilled to host my wedding there. The architecture and grounds are stunning, and my photos came out beautifully. The on-site wedding coordinator was extremely friendly and professional, and worked very well with my planner. As well as being more reasonable than most other venues, the food was elegant and delicious. This is not a chicken parmesan and bland fish caterer.

Do take note that if you're having an evening wedding, it won't be an all-nighter. With overtime, the wedding can only last 5 hours and has to be done by midnight. Also, if you want an embellished ballroom, this isn't the place. I chose it because it was a blank canvas without old carpeting and chandeliers, but it does need decorating. Overall, a fabulous choice.

Aldie was a great venue to have a wedding at. The location is very beautiful and sure to impress your guests, but on top of that the exclusive agreement they have with Jeffrey Miller Catering and on-site, dedicated wedding planner (inlcuded) allow them to provide you great food and an experienced and well-season staff -- they pulled off our event flawlessly!

Perfect venue and catering!

We originally hired Aldie and JAM in 2019 and had to postpone due to COVID. We got married in June and it was just perfect. The venue cannot be beat - you get the best of both worlds in a stunning outdoor backyard and beautiful historic estate home. Kim was our coordinator and she made sure everything was flawless. We knew we were in good hands. Also, guests raved about the food!

My wedding was in late April and I was able to have my ceremony outside in the back garden. This venue is gorgeous. You will not be disappointed when you scope it out when it comes to the space you get. And you won't be disappointed with your pictures - I know I wasn't. My guests were super impressed with the place. There are 2 inside ceremony options and 3 outside ceremony locations. They replaced the floor in January 2017 (and in July 2016 but it didn't come out good so they had to redo it) so it is different than some of the older pictures you might see but it's a good different. Aldie is exclusive to Jefferey Miller Catering. I worked with Kim and I would say I'm not that needy of a bride so we worked fine together. Jefferey Miller Catering was great but I won't go into too much detail in this review since this review is for Aldie.

I have loved the Aldie Mansion for years before we were planning our wedding. The estate is a beautiful hidden gem in Doylestown, PA. The location is so beautiful, you do not need to add much to the space to make it wedding special.

Kim and the staff at Aldie/JAM Catering were wonderful to work with and very responsive to all of our questions and requests. They are willing to work with you to tailor your wedding day to your specifications and budget. For us, that meant biscuits instead of rolls with dinner. It really is the little things!

My husband and I really appreciated the private cocktail hour in the bridal suite. Kim and her team prepared us a mini spread of all the cocktail offerings with champagne just for us to enjoy! It was a very special moment I will always treasure. Lest I forget! The winter fires were a wonderful touch for our November wedding. It was such a beautiful day.

I cannot recommend Aldie Mansion enough for your wedding. You will not be disappointed!

Great experience. Our wedding coordinators Anne and Jason were wonderful. Always checking on us to make sure we didn't need anything. The mansions decor came together better and more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. We did have a little issue as our guests were served a different type of salmon than we ordered initially but the food was out of this world (I didn't even notice the issue until the following day) It was the the best wedding food I've ever had (ok, maybe I'm a bit biased). Many guests asked how we found such a unique venue and loved the mansion

We were married on 9/1/12, a gorgeous day at Aldie Mansion. We had so many compliments on the venue and so many photo opportunities which was super important to us. The venue is perfect for a vintage theme wedding. The bridal suite is beyond gorgeous. The wedding the evening before ours used the Chinese lanterns outside were our ceremony was to be and they were never taken down, so we got a beautiful upgrade for free! And of course they asked if we wanted to them up or not.
The only downfalls we had were the nearby airport planes flying by during our ceremony outside. They failed to mention that to us during our initial tour, however I doubt that would have changed our minds since the tea garden is a gorgeous spot to get married. We also had a little issue with our planner, who called me 3 different names throughout the course of contacting her for wedding planning. She also had a little bit of an attitude with us and a few of our guests, but she was very helpful in the end. Everything went over smoothly and beautifully.

I had my reception at Aldie and it was great because they assign you a wedding planner, which is included in the cost. The women were very attentive to detail and were willing to offer suggestions when I was stuck on topics. It was important for me to have my wedding at a sight where I would not see another bride.

My wedding is scheduled at Aldie in May. Though we aren't quite there yet, our experience with Jeffrey Miller has been wonderful so far. It's a strange concept to sign a contract for a venue and caterer before tasting the food; but that is the situation in which most brides find themselves. After attending our group tasting, I feel 100% confident that we made the right decision. Every single dish we tried was incredible (and there were many!) It was especially comforting that the tasting was in a group setting--even for a large group of people, the food was hot and tasty! It was like having a true test run for the wedding. We can't wait for May!

Aldie Mansion

The Aldie Mansion looked like castle straight out of a storybook. Between the beautiful gothic architecture of the exterior of the property to the balance rustic/modern design of the building's interior, you are instantly transported into a place far beyond your wildest dreams.

While the building itself speaks volumes of the classiness of this venue, the real stars that shine is the staff that runs the place. When we went to Aldie Mansion for our group tasting, we were pampered so much that we felt like royalty.

It is because of all these reasons that my fiancé and I are looking forward to our wedding in June.

Wedding planning

Planning our wedding with Hannah was so enjoyable. She took the time to hear our ideas and must haves. The wedding tasting was so much fun and the menu serves such a variety of delicious options.

Amazing wedding, some hiccups during lead-up

This venue is gorgeous and unique. It feels like a dream home, not a wedding hall. Regardless of season, you have a beautiful backdrop due to the grounds and architecture.I want to break this up into 2 very different sections: The lead-up to the wedding and the wedding itself

Wedding day: Phenomenal.
-The food was delicious, everything ranged from good to great, I had multiple guests tell me this was some of / the very best wedding food they've ever had.
-The staff were attentive and consistently present. They set up all of our signs and pictures and candles in a beautiful and thoughtful manner. The bartender was absurdly friendly and great with the guests. They constantly tended the fireplace in a way that didn't disrupt our guests.
-The dropoff process and communication in the week leading up was clear, expectations were clearly made as to what we needed.
-When little things went wrong day-of, the wedding coordinator did a great job of rolling with it
-As a result of the amazing work of Crissi, the coordinator, and the staff, we honestly have only positive impressions of our wedding at Aldie mansion

Lead up to the wedding: Rough. Very rough.
-I think that a large part of our poor experience stemmed from our initial "wedding planner." I say that in quotations because Aldie "comes with a wedding planner", but it's a bit of a misnomer because really they're more a representative of JAM catering, who is the only caterer for Aldie, and day-of coordinator at the venue. This is the person through which you order your food, plan the day, figure out staffing, etc - so everything Aldie Mansion and catering related. So yes, they do a good bit more than a typical catering representative, but they are NOT the classic wedding planner you expect
- I am unsure if they were short staffed, but the primary manager said she would be our planner after we reached out because we had not been informed of who our coordinator would be after the time frame provided to us by the company. This lead to multiple problems:
a) We had multiple instances of rough and delayed communication in the year beforehand. I'm looking at the old emails now and multiple promised deadlines were broken, we had to nudge them multiple times to do things that were contractually promised,
b) We were not given all information for the food prior to the meeting when we were to make final selections. Granted, we were creating a hybrid menu rather than one of the pre-selected ones, but we were told this was not a problem. The day of the meeting, our coordinator started the meeting 15 minutes late and we learned that some documents like the master food list had never been sent over to us. Related, we kept asking questions about the food, from what types of fish, to how it's all put together, and she just didn't know the answers, had no pictures of plated dishes (which you don't really get during the tasting as the entrees are served family style)...which isn't great when you are our only link to the food catering aspect of our wedding. However, she did reach out to the chef via text to get his opinion on sauce pairings, which was helpful, and was helpful with arranging a caviar substitution with the kitchen.
c) There were multiple times in meetings where we said "we want that there" or "we want a break for dancing here" and our direct requests were met with "no that probably won't work, here is how it should work" multiple times. She didn't explain why she thought our ideas were bad, she just said it wouldn't work well and steamrolled a lot of our requests.
d) Overall the whole experience just felt uncomfortable because we were promised this great personalized wedding experience but whenever we had questions or requests we were made to feel like burdens

This all led to us requesting a different planner, things went much smoother at that point onward and we feel the replacement did a great job. Crissi was beyond amazing. She was consistently responsive, had wonderful ideas and recommendations, and was either able to explain why some things would not be feasible or let us know that things like that are routinely done and therefore were a non-issue, despite what our previous coordinator had said. Day of, we knew there was nothing we had to worry about with Crissi, and this ended up 100% being the case. If you get the chance, I highly recommend requesting her.

So in full - did we have an amazing wedding experience and were they totally on their game in the week beforehand? Absolutely. Was the road there long and tortuous and unnecessarily stressful? Absolutely until Crissi took over

We got married at Aldie Mansion in September 2014. As soon as we saw Aldie last year, we absolutely fell in love. It was the perfect mix of everything we wanted! Beautiful grounds, unique vintage style, multiple rooms to use! Jeffery Miller Catering is the exclusive catering company at Aldie. We were fine with that because we heard great things about the company and the food. The wedding coordinators are also employed by JAM. We did have some communication issues with our first wedding coordinator and we ended up deciding that she was not the right person for us to work with. After a little back and forth, we did get assigned another coordinator. This was the only part of the process that wasn't great. Luckily, we were assigned Sue who is AMAZING! She turned our vision into reality at Aldie :) It was all smooth sailing at that point. We brought a lot of personal belongings to display at the wedding for decoration and everything turned out just as we imagined! We had perfect weather for the wedding outside. The large oak tree with the lights on it is AMAZING as well and we got some great night time shots in there. We did stations for our dinner and everyone kept talking about how good the food was! I will say that we had 130 people at the wedding and I think that is almost the max for stations dinner. Anything larger I think the lines would be too long. The staff was wonderful. The night was just a dream come true and I would highly recommend this venue. I think our friends and family will be talking about it for years to come!!!

Aldie Mansion is a beautiful venue. We had incredible complements on the venue, the food, and the service at the wedding. There were slight problems with the details of our wedding like the chairs facing the wrong direction and the communication during the planning process was difficult, especially since I don't live in the area.

Overall I would absolutely recommend booking the Aldie Mansion as your guests will have a phenomenal time. This venue has the potential to offer an experience out of the movies.

We were excited to have found such a gorgeous place that worked within our budget. Our other option was going to be spending almost as much for trays of warmed up food, but with Jeffrey Miller Catering, everything is fresh, made from scratch, and awesome. Not a single bite made me question its value: the presentation was elegant, the flavors were delicious, and it felt good knowing we were giving my guests something great.

We really enjoyed our wedding at the Aldie Mansion. We were married there April 13th, and the day was beautiful! I was very lucky that it was a less busy month and there were no other events scheduled that weekend so we were able to bring in extra decorations on the Thursday before my wedding. I really loved how there were multiple rooms and areas for guest to explore. The Aldie mansion was exactly what we pictured for our vintage and classical wedding.

Aldie Mansion is beautiful. The venue is very expensive. If you have extra money, I would suggest that you have the reception there in the evening. I had the ceremony and the reception there in the afternoon to save money and I only had five hours for the entire event. It felt rushed and I didn't get to take all the pictures I wanted. But.. the place is beautiful and the food is really good. It has everything you need at one place.

It was a beautiful venue and the perfect setting for our wedding. It has JAM as its exclusive caterer and coordinator. I will review JAM as well.

The site was gorgeous and they were willing to work with us to have everything we wanted, they even allowed us to bring our dog (he was our ring-bearer)

I loved having my wedding at aldie! It was the perfect venue for us. My wedding planner through aldie was a bit difficult because I would have to wait a week or two for responses. A couple things that could be improved during our experience at our reception are small but there was another couples name out by our wedding cake and one of my guests had to replace toilet paper in every bathroom stall in the women's room because no one checked and every stall was out. All things considered I'm glad I had my wedding at aldie but wish my experience was a bit less stressful.

Aldie Mansion was the first venue we visited in our wedding planning. We both loved it right away! If we have to redo our whole wedding again, we would still pick Aldie!
It's hard to rate Aldie in the categories, because most of the business stuff we dealt with Jeffrey Miller Catering. The outcome of the wedding was great, but there were some issues in dealing with the catering company during the wedding planning.

Despite being slightly more expensive than the other venues I looked at (mostly due to the rental fee, which I swore I would never pay...but this place was worth it!) Aldie Mansion has plenty of menu options to make it work for your budget. The venue is just incomparable for its idyllic setting, gorgeous building, and also for being a one-stop shop. The caterer is on-site and exclusive, which means you don't have to shop for a caterer (one less thing to deal with), and the kitchen is on-site so the food is fresh, hot, and delicious. Weeks later, everyone is still raving about the location and the food. The included wedding coordinator was helpful and responsive, and the day of she was great, but leading up to the event she seemed scattered, mixing wedding details and taking a few days to respond via email (probably a reasonable amount of time, but to a bride planning a wedding even minutes seem like days). Everything turned out great though. My day went smooth, no airplanes flew overhead during the ceremony (it was like they knew!), the weather was great, food was fantastic...couldn't have asked for anything more!

My husband and I wanted to get married in an old mansion and Aldie Mansion was the perfect venue for our wedding. The mansion and grounds are kept beautifully and provided such an incredible backdrop of scenery for our pictures that we absolutely adore. We were able to work within our budget and still create the wedding of our dreams. Many selections for the menu provided by Jeffery Miller, which we were very happy with. Guests continue to compliment us on our choice of venue, food and everything else from our day.

My experience with Aldie Mansion was mostly very positive. The food was delicious and everything pretty much went as planned on the day of my wedding. I really only have two complaints--first, they do not offer a tasting of your menu. You can go to the open house on the first Tuesday of each month and try the appetizers, but they never have entree items. Your only option for a tasting is to go to their offices in Philly and pay the entree price for a tasting. Menu tasting is pretty industry standard and I was disappointed they did not offer this. They could even have a large group tasting for brides who have already booked like Normandy Farms does and it would have at least been something. The second is the "wedding coordinator" they tout as a big perk you get when you book. Mine was not very friendly and pleasant--and really, I was an easy-going bride. I ended hiring my own planner and was so glad I did. My mom remarked that on the day of the wedding my Aldie wedding coordinator looked like she had sucked on a lemon with the frown she had on her face. But I would not deter that from letting you book at Aldie--I loved the setting and gardens and the privacy of the place. I would just really think about getting at least a day of wedding planner.

We had a beautiful wedding reception at Aldie Mansion - the night was everything we could have hoped for and we know all of our guests had a blast. The Mansion has so much character and the tree in the backyard creates space for great pictures to be taken.

Working with Aldie was a tad challenging leading up to the event. The office seemed a bit unorganized - forgetting negotiations, re-asking questions you know you had already answered for them, losing emails, etc. This really made us quite uneasy going into the event. However - day of - the event did go seamlessly. If you are an organized bride and can over-communicate your wishes/wants for the day - you should be fine.

I would also comment that some of the staff members were a bit unfriendly. A family friend brewed all of the beer for our wedding and built a cool bar to serve it from. He got such an unfriendly vibe from the staff that he didn't even feel comfortable leaving his beer/bar at the venue overnight and so packed everything up at the end of the wedding instead of joining us at the after-party. The staff was also not going to allow us to leave our centerpieces overnight, which was a surprise. They did end up allowing us to do so. So there were a few small things at the end of the night that I would say were not top notch customer service.

But I can't deny that the wedding was great and the venue space, spectacular. Hope this review is helpful to other brides-to-be!

I’ll start with the positives. JM provided excellent food on the night. I’ve been to lots of weddings and JM's food was exceptional, many of our guests commented on how incredible the food was. From the hors d'oeuvres to the dessert – we couldn’t have been happier with the presentation and taste.

Unfortunately, we can’t say the same about the service. Amongst all these glowing reviews it might be that JM just had an off-night. Either way, when they charge as much as they do, you expect a level of professionalism, far beyond what we experienced.

Food service:
Dessert was brought out almost an hour after it was scheduled to be. By the time it was served all of the guests had left their tables. Most of the dessert went uneaten. I did witness a member of JM staff help themselves to a mini-cheesecake in full view of guests – so at least someone got to try it!

Table-service during meal:
We paid extra for 2 bar staff to service the tables with wine during the meal. For this we received 1 visit to the table with wine during the meal. I had to get-up twice from the table to ask the server to come back and serve again, and I was the groom so I imagine every other table received even less service.

Missing alcohol:
JM’s instruction is that leftover alcohol is to be taken off premise on the night of the wedding and we duly obliged – taking everything that was given to
us by the bar staff. 6 days after the event, we realized that there was a significant amount of alcohol missing that I knew we hadn’t used. Only when I took this up with JM, was I informed that they had 8 bottles of liquor and 4 bottles of wine of ours still onsite.

Boxed-meals:
JM is supposed to box and provide you with the wedding cake and no-show meals to take home as well as two complimentary boxed meals for the bri

Planning process ran smoothly--Except there were several problems the day of the wedding and staff were not able to handle the problems. Nor was the manager and owner willing to make up for wedding day mishaps after the event.

Don't be fooled by the beautiful venue. I am inclined to agree with the other posts and there were defiantly a few issues with Jeffery Miller Catering who provides the wedding planner for the Aldie. The first planner sent an email stating she was leaving the company and a new planner was promptly assigned. There was a terrible communication problem with the new wedding planner and it seemed like we had to send emails at least 2 and 3 times before a satisfactory response was given, we told by the planner that her toddler ran off with some of our paperwork. The wedding planner was either over worked or confused on certain matters, she seemed to add more stress to the wedding planning.
However the incident that was most disturbing was some of our personal items were overlooked by the wedding planner and not even used, for example handmade table numbers and framed photos for the bookshelves. Items were dropped off in a very small room which also seemed to be the office used by the Aldie staff the Thursday before the Saturday wedding all very clearly marked with event date and bride and groom names as well as what was inside the actually boxes. These boxes also included the items for the candy bar. After the guests were seated at the wedding it was noticed no handmade table numbers where placed on the table and by then it was too late also no photos on the bookshelves either. The reason why was someone from the Aldie placed a small artificial tree right on top of the labeled box while it was in the office, therefore it was totally missed. A complaint was made after the security deposit was received as we did not want to jeopardize them returning our deposit. A Jeffery Miller staff member did apologize via email and refunded $100.00 due to the un professionalism of the wedding planner, that $100.00 was less then what we paid for one invited guest. They basically told us the overlooked items were our fault and proceeded to quote a page in their 2010 hand book (we were given a 2008) stating the bride should assign a friend or family member to be in charge of her personal items (table number, photos, etc) one would think that would be the responsibility of the wedding planner and if someone would have not covered up the box with the tree, those beautiful hand made table numbers would have been on the table instead of in the box during the reception. They also quoted from the hand book that written inventory of your personal items should be submitted, we dropped off the items on Thursday there was plenty of time for the wedding planner to inquire as to what our inventory was and we could have easily provided it in plenty of time. Again you would think the wedding planner would have taken a few minutes to go over what was dropped off. So based on the above and overall experience I would not recommend the Aldie or JM catering they just don't pay attention to details, which is what you would expect from a wedding venue. Just don't be fooled by the outside beauty of the Aldie as it is whats inside that counts

Beautiful place, High prices, staff unable to remember where the tables go (why is my groom and his groomsmen rolling a table down the hill to its the ceremony site an hour before the ceremony - yes that really happened!!) and to get water in the bride and grooms room. When you are paying these prices your bridal party should have water. We were nickeled and dimed TO DEATH!!!! even now I am fighting fees that were unauthorized and not in the contract that they just took out of my security deposit with no bill, explantation or warning of any kind. Just because you have a beautiful venue doesn't mean you can treat people this way. Be careful before you sign the contract, there are MANY beautiful places in the area that will be less stressful. If you do end up go with Aldie get your own Day of Coordinator that will look out for your own interests - I only wish I had.
