Elegant Dream Wedding

My daughter just married at Alda's Magnolia Hill and what keeps coming to mind is that she had the wedding brides dream of. The setting is beautiful in a historic home, beautifully furnished, with a lakeside ceremony and carriage house venue for the reception. No detail was overlooked. So many special moments were orchestrated by Alda and Buddy that were just made for amazing photography. We can't wait for the pictures! This was the perfect place to celebrate my daughter and new son in law's perfect wedding day.

Fairy tale Wedding

My daughter's wedding was an absolute fairy tale. Buddy and Alda Ellis at Alda's Magnolia Hill define southern charm and class. The property is gorgeous! A beautiful lake, horse drawn carriage, beautiful decor and the kindest most considerate folks you will ever work with. Alda has every detail in mind. They truly get to know the bride and groom (and parents) and can make all of your wedding dreams come to life. Planning during a pandemic and an approaching hurricane....they always had a Plan B if needed, but with many thoughts and prayers we were able to do exactly what our daughter had always dreamed of. If you want 5star plus class, with the finest people you will ever meet, Alda's Magnolia Hill is the venue for you!
Alda has an eye for decoration, planning, as well as the finest vendors to work with & the cake was included and perfect!

Alda's Magnolia Hill

This was absolutely the most wonderful wedding I have ever been to. Alda and Buddy and their crew did everything possible to make this such a beautiful wedding.....including the setting, organization, shuttling, flowers catering, music and beautiful white doves. And I will never forget the fun and laughter!!! Every detail was just perfect from beginning to end...What a beautiful event thanks to Alda's Magnolia Hill.

Absolutely Beautiful!

Alda’s is the perfect Venue! Beautiful surroundings, the Bouquets she made, Florian arraignments everywhere & Decor was just Beautiful... Alda & her team were so attentive to every detail ... we felt like part of their family.. Mrs. Alda & her team handled everything with such professionalism ... May I add that we chose this venue.... and since it was a “destination wedding “ we had not visited Magnolia Hill in advance of the wedding... We were not disappointed at all Mrs. Alda, her team & Magnolia Hill far exceeded our expectations!!

A Southern Belle's Dream

Y'all. I can't even adequately put into words how incredible Alda's Magnolia Hill was as a venue for our wedding. My husband and I had to move our ceremony up 3 weeks from our original wedding date due to the threat of COVID-19, which meant we had one week until our wedding from the day that we decided to move our wedding up! Talk about STRESS! Alda took that all away, though. She built a schedule for me and took care of the little details that I had on my plate. Alda and Buddy know what they are doing and make sure that you are taken care of. Their focus is on making sure that you have the best experience possible for your big day! The venue is stunning and the people are amazing! If you're looking for a dreamy, romantic, Southern wedding, this is the place to go! Love, love, loved our experience!

Excellent Venue

I cannot say enough good things about Alda's Magnolia Hill venue and the proprietors Alda & Buddy. The venue itself is gorgeous and provides a beautiful setting on a historic piece of land with the water as a picturesque backdrop. Both Buddy and Alda take a lot of pride in their venue and it shows in the amount of care and upkeep that takes place.
Once you choose to become a Magnolia Hill Bride you feel like you gain a new family in both Alda and Buddy. They want your day to go off perfectly and truly represent your style. That was one the things that stood out most to me, Alda works so hard to get a sense of who you are and your decorating style. Also, Alda is so easy to communicate with day or night. I never felt that my questions and concerns were not being answered or addressed.
Overall, my husband and I had a wonderful experience with Alda's Magnolia Hill and will recommend it to everyone! Our wedding day was beautiful, personalized, well organized and best off all no stress to us.

The perfect venue with all the southern charm!

Alda handled everything for me! We were eloping and traveling from Florida. She handled the flowers, the cake, the music, and every single detail. It was the exact experience we were looking for with ALL the southern charm!

Alda and Buddy along with their great team turned our special day into a spectacular memory to forever savor. Captured our daughter and son-in-law's personalities to a tee!

I wish I could give this venue more than 5 stars! Our daughers wedding was here last weekend and I can't stop smiling about it. It was an absolute fairytale wedding! I can't count the number of compliments we have received! Miss Alda and Mr. Buddy are consummate professionals, with a perfect eye for detail and superb service, I didn't have to worry about a thing. She used my daughter's pinterest board to give her everything she wanted in décor. Not one mistake was made and the wedding timing was perfect. We will smile with the memory of the wedding for the rest of our lives!

My husband Landon and I were (and still are) above and beyond pleased in our selection of Alda's Magnolia Hill as our wedding venue. It is evident through the quality of service that Ms. Alda, Mr. Buddy, and their team provided that they are a premiere "total package" wedding service. When thinking back to our special day, one of my favorite parts was how Ms. Alda created an atmosphere that was completely unique to me. The decor was timeless and classic, and her floral arrangements were absolutely stunning. Ms. Alda is so skilled in creating original moments through the beauty of her property combined with her talents.
I was also so pleased at how well Ms. Alda communicated with us throughout the process. She kindly kept me on track when I erred towards being a procrastinator, and I truly could not have thought of all those details on my own. If I did it all over again, I would absolutely choose to have Alda coordinate my wedding; without her I would have no idea where to start!
Alda's Magnolia Hill truly has a special gift for weddings. In a world where the industry sets an incredibly high standard, they constantly surpass it and make families feel unique and special with every wedding. I would absolutely recommend Alda's to anyone!

We had our wedding at Magnolia Hill over a month ago and I still am getting so many compliments on our wedding! It was amazing and so convenient to have everything all together! Mrs Alda and her husband Buddy age just the best and do everything to make your wedddkng amazing! The floral and decor work she did for our wedding was everything I wanted and more!!!!

1000 stars for Alda Ellis and her Magnolia Hill weddings!!! Our children were married there last weekend and it was beyond a fairytale!
Alda and Buddy are truly two of the most gracious people you will ever meet. Alda's organization and attention to every detail are surpassed only by her creative talent and her servant's heart.
I would challenge you to find a more special place or people to host your wedding venue!
Alda's Magnolia Hill was a such a blessing and we are very grateful for the opportunity we had to work with Alda!

As the father of the bride, I must say that the overall experience was nothing short of magical. Mrs. Alda and Mr. Buddy Ellis ran everything flawlessly. Magnolia Hill was beautiful in its own right but also beautifully decorated. The outdoor setting with the picturesque lake and woods in the background were amazing. A dove release at the end of the wedding ceremony was an extremely special touch. All of the extras such as the groom rolling up in the classic truck and my daughter and myself trotting up via horse and carriage were spectacular making the bride truly feel like a princess. The reception hall, bar area, fire pit for s’mores etc. were great and added to everything. The supporting areas with providers suggested via Mrs. Alda (making life easier on us) were the talk of all the guests (i.e. everyone raved over the food provided by the caterer “Dinner’s Ready” and the cake arrangement was beautiful). The send-off/exit in the classic car with fireworks provided a great climactic ending. I can’t say enough great things about Alda’s Magolia Hill and Mrs. Alda and Mr. Buddy Ellis. Thanks for memories we will never forget!

Alda and Buddy are amazing and Magnolia Hill is extraordinary! We live about 4 hours away from the venue, but as soon as I saw the videos on the website I knew this was the place. The groom and his son (the best man) came in by canoe on the beautiful lake, and I got to ride in on a horse and carriage with my father. Fairytale wedding does not even begin to describe our experience. From the harpist playing as your guests are being seated to the dove release at the end, everything is top notch and breathtaking! They are so easy to work with and Alda has recommendations for every aspect of your wedding. They only use Dinner's Ready Catering, and it was, hands down, the best food I've ever had at a wedding (and most restaurants). Also, just in case it rains, there is a gorgeous big red barn with lovely chandeliers on the property that you can use. Alda and Buddy make sure there are so many special moments throughout the evening for the bride and groom, I cannot recommend this venue enough!

Alda and Buddy made our wedding something out of a fairy tale. I could never imagine having a better wedding. They put the time and effort into every single detail, so that our day was nothing short of perfection. Not to mention the gorgeous sight that the venue itself is. I could never imagine another venue even coming close to our experience at Magnolia Hill.

My daughter got married yesterday at Alda's Magnolia Hill, and it was an absolute fairytale wedding! Alda and Buddy are awesome, and everything was absolutely perfect in every way!! The Groom and Best Man paddled in on a canoe, my 87 year old Mother was the flower girl, my daughter was delivered in a horse drawn carriage, they released doves after they said their vows, fireworks, then after the reception they drove away in an old historic car with more fireworks!!! A dream come true for my little girl!!! Thank you so..so....much Alda and Buddy for your part in creating the memory of a lifetime!!!

Our wedding at Alda's Magnolia Hill was more than I ever dreamed my wedding would be! It was the most perfect day of ever! Everyone at the wedding said it was beautiful, fun, and the best wedding they had ever been to. I would highly recommend a Magnolia Hill wedding!! I wish I could do it all over again.....every day!

The venue is so beautiful and romantic it's like being in a movie and Ms. Alda is an amazing director. Ms. Alda and Mr. Buddy were very attentive throughout the wedding and reception. We felt very relaxed knowing that everything was taken care of and if we had and concerns they would take care of them. They really tried to do everything they could to give you your dream wedding. The staff was so wonderful and friendly and took great care of the guests especially the elderly. Everyone felt so welcome, many of the guests told us that they have never been at a wedding that was so much fun and so beautiful. We have never seen our daughter and son in law so happy. If you want an enchanting wedding have your wedding at Alda's Magnolia Hills. Dreams really come true.

Our wedding was a fairy tale wedding come true! We absolutely loved Alda’s Magnolia Hill and Mrs. Alda & Mr. Buddy are just adorable. They both worked so hard to take all the stress out of our wedding planning and making our day amazingly special. It's been a month since our wedding and we are still tingling from pure wedding bliss. There were so many special touches that were above our expectations and made our day magical. We absolutely loved Alda's Magnolia Hill! Alda was wonderful to work with. She was so helpful and worked so hard to make my daughter's wedding just perfect! It rained the whole week of my daughter's wedding and on her wedding day. I was so relieved that there was a plan B. Alda and Buddy worked hard and made the barn look beautiful for the big day. We were happy that we were still able to release the doves and have fireworks. Not only was Alda a great wedding coordinator but she also became a friend. She also makes EXCELLENT peach tea!! So happy to have had this wonderful, fun, and beautiful venue.

Alda made ny daughters wedding everything she wished for. From the decorations to the music, every fine detail reflected my daughter. It was her fairy tale. The venue has to be one of the prettiest spots in Arkansas to have an outdoor wedding. Give Alda and her staff a vision of your wedding and she will create it!

My daughter knew the moment we first visited Magnolia Hill that she wanted her wedding there. It is absolutely beautiful and a complete fairytale wedding. Alda and Buddy are the best! They make you feel like family from the beginning. The wedding was absolutely perfect and nothing that I'm aware of any wrong. The wedding guests are still talking about what a perfect day it was and how beautiful and fun the wedding was. I can't say enough good things about this place. You must pay this place a visit if you are looking for venues and you too will fall in love with Magnolia Hill, Alda and Buddy.

Amazing venue! Alda and Buddy were so great! Highly recommend! Alda was a experienced coordinator, decorator, event planner and Buddy was so nice and even agreed to be our officiant :) great team to have on our big day. She helped to add so much attention to detail and added the little things that are hard for a bride to take care of herself but help make special memories.

First, the venue is absolutely beautiful!! Southern glamorous is how I would describe it. The ceremony at the lake is breathtaking and there is also a gorgeous chandelier hanging Ina tree a over ceremony site. Alda goes above and beyond is everything she does. She has wedding planning down to an art and she literally takes care of everything . I didn't want to be stressed with wedding planning and Alda pretty much took care of everything I could think of. Unfortunately it did rain on my wedding day but Alda and her husband Buddy worked so hard to make it the most beautiful wedding possible and it truly was. We had the ceremony outside despite a light sprinkle and everything was so beautiful and romantic. Let me say that it was completely my choice to have the wedding outside. There is also a beautiful barn to have weddings and receptions in on rainy/cold days. We opted to move our reception in the barn. It was absolutely gorgeous! We had so many complements and all our guests had a great time. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone. It was truly a fairytale wedding.

I cannot express enough what a perfect experience my daughters wedding today was! Ms Alda and Mr Buddy and all involved made her fairy tale dream wedding come true! Her beautifully coordinated event was so well organized that I actually was able to enjoy what could have been a very stressful day. They welcomed our families with open arms. I cannot recommend them enough!

First of all there are not enough words for me to describe how amazing Alda, Buddy, and all other staff are! The venue is absolutely beautiful! Alda and staff go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect and that you are stress free at your wedding! Whatever you want or need she makes sure it gets done! She is very personable and friendly and is always there for you! I had a fairy tell wedding thanks to them! It was everything i had ever dreamed of! I HIGHLY recommend them!!

My wedding was absolutely perfect, and I am so glad that I had it at Alda's Magnollia Hill! After the wedding, all of my guests said that it was the most beautiful and romantic wedding that they had ever been to. Alda Ellis works so hard to make sure everything goes right. She even found flowers that were a beautiful match to the ones my florist used for our bouquets. She does all of the decorations and planning of the day itself. It was a fairy tale, perfect wedding and I would recommend Alda's Magnolia Hill to anyone who wants a gorgeous, romantic place to get married. The horse and carriage entrance was so special, and the reception area had so many great details. I knew the place was lovely but it exceeded all of my expectations.

My wedding was an absolute fairy tale. It was better than a wedding you would see in a movie. Mrs. Alda and Mr. Buddy went above and beyond to personalize and make my day unique and special. Mrs. Alda did all of my flowers and they were awesome. She ordered a Lilly to specially match my wedding colors. She added so many special touches that were above and beyond my expectations. She made all of my family and friends feel comfortable. She paid special attention to my elderly relatives by making them an easily accessible table and having a golf cart drive them around the venue. Two months later my friends and family are still commenting about how magical and fun the wedding was. I love Mrs. Alda and Mr. Buddy and enjoyed getting to know them!

I have never been so satisfied by a vendor than I am with Alda's! Alda was there every step of the way, assuring us that we were going to have the wedding we dreamed of. She told me from the beginning that as mother-of-the-bride I was to enjoy this day; that she would take care of everything. And, she meant it ...she took care of everything !!! The venue was absolutely beautiful, like a fairy-tale. Alda's flowers, decorations, and props were exactly what my daughter had described as wanting. Guests were raving about how beautiful everything was. Even my son-in-law told me during the reception that the wedding couldn't have been more perfect !

Ms. Alda and her husband Buddy, became more like family as opposed to a vendor. Alda's Magnolia Hill was on my list of dream venues that I knew I wanted to get married there, prior to even being engaged. Thankfully my now husband asked me to marry him on November 28th, 2012, and Ms. Alda was able to create the most beautiful wedding and reception that was way beyond my wildest dreams. If an intimate and romantic venue is something that is near and dear to your heart, contact her. She will care for you and make the experience stress-free, which was marvelous.

We got married July 13, 2013 and it was absolutely the most magical day! Alda and her husband Buddy are the most amazing people I've ever met.. They treat everyone like family and they responded to my questions almost immediately. They took care of everything for me so I wasnt stressed.. They went absolutely above and beyond from the day we booked the venue to the wedding day. We had quite a few family members there and she made sure everyone was comfortable. Buddy was always making sure everything was perfect. They made sure i had everything I wanted. Alda even made sure I got my hydrangea which is hard to get in Arkansas in July! This couple knows exactly what they are doing and it is totally worth every penny. This couple will always have a special place in our hearts.

I am so thrilled with my wedding at Magnolia Hill that I do not know where to begin.
The hospitality and love shown by Alda and Buddy to my family and I throughout the whole wedding process was truly a blessing. Our wedding planning experience was a breeze and very low stress which was much appreciated!
The wedding was absolutely better than I could have EVER imagined and I am continually hearing glowing remarks and compliments about my big day. I heard from several guests that it was the best wedding they had ever attended. I know that none of it could have been accomplished without Alda and Buddy. They are so sweet and caring and went beyond to please and take care of us in every way. I actually got to enjoy my wedding and not worry about a thing because it was all perfectly taken care of just as we discussed in our planning meetings. Please know that this short note cannot do justice to how extremely grateful and happy we are for being able to share our special day at Magnolia Hill. We couldn’t have had a more perfect day! Everything was perfect. They made sure people were in the right places at the right times. The food was presented beautifully by their exclusive caterer. We will rave about our experience forever. I do not even know where to begin. I had my wedding at Magnolia Hill and it was better than I could have ever even imagined. I was currently in nursing school at the time so I needed somewhere that took care of everything for me and Magnolia Hill went over and beyond helping me achieve my dream wedding.
Alda and her husband Buddy were phenomenal from planning months in advance till the day of. The take pride in their business and want every bride to be completely happy and stress free on their wedding day.
Alda allows you to do as much or as little as you would like for your wedding and I really appreciated that flexibility.
I could not ask for a more relaxed wedding day (and days leading up to it). Alda took care of every detail that I needed and I am hearing from friends and relatives that this was the most relaxed and fun wedding that they had been a part of preparing for.
I am constantly hearing from all of my guests that the wedding was a blast and absolutely beautiful!! I would definitely recommend Magnolia Hill if you want a dream outdoor wedding.

First of all, I am not the bride, but the groom's mother. I'm also not from Alaska, but from Sherwood Arkansas. Our wedding was Sunday, April 28, 2013. I have known Ms. Alda for many years. From the very start of the wedding planning, there was no doubt that Ms. Alda had everything covered. If you have not considered Magnolia Hill as your venue, one visit with Ms. Alda and Buddy will literally suck you in! She is the very essence of Southern charm and it shows in every aspect of this venue. The truck ride for the guys, the horse drawn carriage ride for the bride and her father, a lakeside altar and ceremony, dove release, and she handled our flowers for us. What an experience it was. I anticipated that I would be very stressed the entire day of the wedding; I was a little stressed, until I arrived and Alda took charge. I was able to relax, enjoy the experience, and was totally at ease. She runs a very tight ship and every detail is perfect. She makes every bride and groom and their families feel as if they are the most important and most special people on earth. Alda and Buddy have a gem at Magnolia Hill and all of our guests are still talking about it.

If you want a fairytale wedding at a beautiful venue with a wonderful couple to attend to all the details, then book your wedding at Alda's Magnolia Hill before your date fills up! Alda and Buddy are fantastic to work with, and as a mother of the bride, that was absolutely priceless. We chose the option of having Alda do the bride and bridesmaids flowers as well as all the boutonnieres, and it was WELL worth the money...much nicer and less expensive than the other options I looked at. Alda and Buddy are personally invested in making your wedding just the way you want it, and they make that happen. Fun, fun, fun wedding!

Choosing to have my wedding at Alda's Magnolia Hill was by far THE BEST decision I could have possibly made while planning. I never could have even dreamed of a wedding like the one I got... it was absolutely perfect. I first sent my mom Alda's website as a joke... thinking it was too perfect to be true! She called them up and set up a date to go see it, and it was even better than it looks online! Alda and Buddy are both just incredible. They are such sweet people, and I wouldn't trust anyone else with all the details of my wedding. Alda took such a huge weight off of me while planning... she made herself available to do anything and everything for me from all the flowers to the setup/decoration. She told me I could send her pictures from pinterest of arrangements/decorations/anything I liked and she would design all my stuff based on what I sent and described. She did that and made it so much more beautiful than I EVER could have done without her help! This woman is a super hero! On the big day, she made sure everything went smoothly and I did not have to worry about a thing. I can honestly say I have no regrets about my wedding day, and that's huge. Everything was 100% perfect thanks to these two wonderful people! Please don't pass up at least meeting with Alda and Buddy if you're considering having an Arkansas wedding... you'll be glad you did. : )

If you're looking to get married in Little Rock, please consider Alda's Magnolia Hill! Not only is the location itself beautiful, but Alda, her husband Buddy, and all of their staff are absolutely wonderful! From the gorgeous job Alda did on the flowers, to the impeccably decorated reception area, Alda gave me a wedding that I could only have dreamed about. The vendors that she exclusively works with (Central Arkansas Entertainment and Catering Creations) also provide excellent service. The food was amazing and the DJ kept everyone dancing until it was time for my husband and I to leave via the 'elegant exit' that they provide for you. Even with a tight budget, Alda made everything work; I literally cried when I got to the venue on my wedding day and saw how beautiful everything was. Again, I never dreamed that I would have a fairy tale wedding but Alda's Magnolia Hill gave me one!
Aside from the venue being wonderful, Alda and Buddy truly are lovely people. I feel like they have become family after spending a year planning with them. Please, consider giving them your business. You will not regret it!

Alda's Magnolia Hill is a beautiful and wonderful place to have a wedding. Alda & Buddy are very gracious and provide an excellent location & services to give you the wedding of your dreams. They made our day go so smoothly. They did everything in their power to give me an outdoor wedding despite the rain and it was a great success! My flowers arrangements, bouquet, and bouts were gorgeous! We had our reception in the barn which was absolutely beautiful with the rustic interior and the two chandeliers. My family and I could not have been more pleased.

Wedding was PERFECT! I can't tell you how many people said this was the best wedding they have ever been to. Alda made sure everything was perfect. I'm an out-of-town MOB and she made me completely comfortable that everything would run smoothly (and it did.) Buddy played several roles (drove the carriage, officiate, shuttle driver) and did it seamlessly. What a team they are! I even felt confident that if the weather had gone bad, that their backup plan (the barn) would be just as magnificent. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue!!

Our Wedding Day could not have been any more perfect at Alda's Magnolia Hill. We simply loved every single minute of it. Alda made sure everything went well and on time. We have had so many compliments about how gorgeous it was out there and how everything went so smoothly. We had Alda take care of all of our flowers and decorations, and they could not have been more perfect. She was able to create exactly what I wanted for everything. Everything was simply stunning. From the day we booked, we had the easiest time planning our wedding with Alda's help. I can't say enough good things about this venue, or the people that run it. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Mrs. Alda, Mr. Buddy and Magnolia Hill. From our first meeting, they were both so helpful and accommodating. She had me at the peach tea! My daughter wanted a vintage, romantic setting and Magnolia Hill was the perfect place! Alda is an amazing wedding planner, offering guidance from the very beginning down to the big day. She really makes everything so easy and fun. She knows "southern perfection!" She decorated with milk glass and beautiful silver pieces. The horse drown carriage and the 1938 Packard as well as the fireworks over the lake and the "elegant exit" made for the fairy tale wedding we dreamed of giving our daughter. She also did all of the flowers for the wedding and it by far exceeded my expectations! Absolutely beautiful! Perfect in every way! Mrs. Alda and Mr. Buddy will forever have a special place in my heart.

Magnolia Hill is the perfect setting for a romantic wedding and Alda and Buddy are the icing on the cake!!! My daughter Tara and my new son-in-law Matt were married at Magnolia Hill on April 28th and it was BEAUTIFUL! Alda and Buddy handled everything and as Mother of the Bride that was 'priceless'. Magnolia Hill was the first place i found online when we started looking for wedding venues. I knew it was for us when i first saw it! Alda is amazing, she helped plan everything, gave recommendations on who to use for flowers, music, cake, ect. Her location is so beautiful it is a fairtale wedding. Alda's Magnolia Hill was chosen by my daughter because it was located as an equal driving distance for the bride and groom. God was with us in that decision. We had no idea the extra work required in hosting a destination wedding, even though it was only 2 hours away. Alda and Buddy are true professional in every way! They were always there for suggestions, recommendations and guided us every step of the way. They truly were the ribbon that tied the ceremony to pure perfection! Alda made sure all details were handled to perfection and I trusted her completely to guide us through to the fireworks finale which she did amazingly. Buddy and Alda Ellis will always hold a special place in my heart for making my only daughter's wedding the fairy tale wedding that she had always dreamed of. I consider them more as a member of my family than just an acquaintance because that is the way you are treated when you are their client. I not only recommend them but would encourage you to call and visit them if you are looking for a wedding venue. They are incredibally talented in what they do and I am blessed to gotten to know them.

My husband and I just got married last weekend. I can't say enough how amazing this venue was. Alda and her husband Buddy were fantastic. Her decorating was amazing and she did my flowers. Everything was perfectly suited to our taste (rustic vintage) and we loved the beauty of her farm. My family still has not stopped talking about how amazing the wedding was. It was absolutely magical! Alda was a fantastic wedding planner. I am currently living in North Carolina and we communicated via email throughout the whole process. I had my mother and sister go meet with her several times throughout the process to cover specifics of the ceremony and that helped so much. Buddy was our Officiant and he gave us a very special ceremony. I was thrilled to have him marry us. I truly felt like Alda and Buddy were like family after the end of all this! I would suggest Magnolia Hill to anyone and everyone that wants a unique outdoor venue. Love it love it love it!!

Since I was a little girl I have dreamed of having a southern style princess wedding. This past Saturday (April 14th), those dreams came true. Alda definitely takes care of the bride on her big day. She has things planned down to the minute and knows the perfect solutions to any problems that may occur. The venue was absolutely perfect for my dream of a southern style wedding. From the view of the pond to the horse drawn carriage, my big day was absolutely perfect! I didn't have to worry about a thing. I could actually relax and enjoy every part of my day. We had a terrific wedding! Thanks to Alda and Buddy for being such a big help in making our wedding day perfect. There is a strict everyone gone by 10 pm rule...this was ok but I did wish we could have had the place (and dancing) one more hour.

I would definitely recommend this venue. It is gorgeous!

Magnolia Hill was spectacular. Miss Alda and Mr. Buddy were such a pleasure to work with. They were attentive and available throughout the whole process. I did not have any worries or frustrations while working with them. I would definitely recommend Magnolia Hill to anyone looking to have a one of a kind AMAZING wedding. It was truly unforgetable.

I could not have dreamed a more perfect location for my wedding. Everything about the location was perfect and Mrs. Alda is the sweetest person. She really helped make my wedding day even more special. If you are looking for an outdoor venue with loads of places for pictures you will not be disappointed!

This was a great day. Alda and Buddy were very helpful. The setting was spectacular. I am the mother of the bride and did not live in Little Rock I was very blessed to have Alda taking care of things. I felt she would not let us forget anything or make a mistake and I was right. In reading post on our facebook page following the ceremony they all read like, "I just left the most amazing wedding..." and "I just went to the best wedding I have every attended" and this is just two of many. Wedding day is still hectic but it was only hair, make-up, and general getting dressed. We were not setting up tables, calling rental places, and so on. We were enjoying the day. I can't thank Alda and Buddy enough for the wonderful experience. My daughter and I agreed we would not have changed anything. We had the canoe, the carriage and the fireworks.

We had our wedding and reception at Magnolia Hill. It is such a beautiful place. We wanted an outside, fall wedding and it was perfect. Mrs. Alda and Mr. Buddy worked very hard to make our day perfect. They are very professional and know what it takes to make customers happy. Mrs. Alda will do everything from wedding planning to flowers to cakes, anything you need. She makes sure everything runs smoothly so that your family can relax and enjoy the day. She provided the music (classical) for our ceremony. I used all of her suggestions, they were wonderful. She also made all of my wedding flowers including my bouquet, my bridesmaid's bouquets, groomsmens flowers, and all of the large centerpieces and alter flowers all the way down to the rose petals down the isle. She did a wonderful job. I had no idea what i wanted... I carried her pictures of ideas and she made everything elegant and beautiful. I couldn't have asked for a better florist, and it was very reasonably priced. She knew i wanted a fall wedding and she used her own fall decor at the reception and we did not have to bring any decorations. She fixed all the reception tables and cake tables and she has such beautiful ideas. I cannot say enough great things about Magnolia Hill. Also, our minister fell thru at the last minute, so Mr. Buddy performed our ceremony. He did it exactly the way I wanted it and he did a beautiful job. They provide so many extra services like the carriage ride and dove release that are just beautiful. Being a Magnolia Hill bride, I also had my bridal portraits made there and they were great. I've had many people email or message me that were at my wedding that said it looked like something out of a magazine or fairy tale. It truly is a place to have a fairy tale wedding! I would not change a thing about any of the services provided by Mr. Buddy and Mrs. Alda at Magnolia Hill.

My son and his beautiful bride were recently married at Alda's Magnolia Hill and everything was absolutely perfect!!!! Mr. Buddy and Mrs. Alda go above and beyond to make sure everything is absolutely wonderful!! This beautiful historic place turns a wedding into a fairytale!! My son and his beautiful bride were married today at Alda's Magnolia Hill. The decorations were beautiful, the music perfect, the entire day was wonderful! From the canoe entrance of the groom and best man, to the carriage ride of the bride and her dad, every detail added to the sweetness of the day:) Thank you, Alda and Buddy, for a most wonderful wedding day for our kids!!

Alda and Buddy were wonderful to work with. They truly want your day to be the best and to make you happy with your wedding. My main advice would be to ask lots of questions. We probably didn't ask enough early on. The venue offers lots of options as far as decorating and Alda was more than willing to help with everything. They coordinated with the rest of our vendors making my job much easier and the whole wedding proceeded smoother. This couple loves what they do and it shows.

Alda and Buddy are the perfect hostess/host for a fairytale wedding. My daughter's wedding could not have been more perfect. Alda was very helpful with every detail. She made suggestions from her vast experience that added to the magic of the day. Alda promptly responded to every email and answered all of our questions. She was very helpful and supportive and let us have our wedding our way. Alda keep everything moving smoothly the day of the event. We could not have asked for anything more. I loved this place! From the moment I went to visit Magnolia Hill...I really knew this was the place I wanted to get married!...seriously :) Everything was perfect. All day long I just kept saying how smoothly everything was going and how perfect it all was. Alda kept everything on time. Everything from getting ready, to riding around the lake in the carriage with my dad, to the ceremony and reception was wonderful. I really couldn't have wanted anything more. Many of the guests said how this was the best wedding they had ever been too and everyone thought the place was beautiful. Thank you Alda and Buddy!!

My daughter's wedding was magical!! Alda and Buddy are very organized before the event and the during the rehearsal and wedding they are incredible!! They really know how to take care of their people!

Alda is in charge and that is what I wanted. It removes all kinds of stress from the Mother of the Bride! She is there if you have a question, but in the background if you don't.

Magnolia Hill is gorgeous! From the canoe arrival with the groom to Buddy and Delilah with the Bride and her Dad, everything is orchestrated to the last detail!

Alda was patient and understanding with my daughter. Answering question after question leading up to the event.

If you want a magical event, that is not like everyone else, this is the place to be!!

I would highly recommended Alda's Magnolia Hill to an bride for many reasons. Alda is the most caring, thoughtworthy, trusting, hard working, nicest lady I have ever met. Alda's Magnolia Hill has something to offer for everyone. During our reception, a huge storm came through and knocked out the electricity. Alda willingly opened the doors to her own home for my guest. Alda truely cares about the bride and will do anything to keep them satisfied. We chose to do the fireworks display and they did them in the rain just so we could see them. Buddy was our preacher and he really knows how to preach a good wedding. He kept the mood light and kept us all from crying on more than one occasion. I was looking for a stress free easy to plan wedding and found all of that and more at Alda's Magnolia Hill.

I wouldn't have changed a thing!! :) Everything was Amazing, and so much more then I had hoped for. Thank you SO much for sharing your Beautiful Magnolia Hill with us, and every little detail, I know you put your heart into it all! And a Special thanks to Mrs Delilah and Mr Buddy, for helping with the Ceremony. At one point I was about to lose it and start crying, but the joke he said , once he saw the Ring,... That totally saved Me!! :) (Giggle) and It lightened the mood for everyone! A lot of the Guests commented on how Refreshing the Ceremony was. It wasn't a long drawn out, boring type,... it was Perfect, and Joyful!

I told my wife not to go into our wedding day wanting it to be perfect, so that if things go awry we can still have a good time. Anyway we didn't have to worry because she said it was the most perfect day of her life, and Alda, and Buddy definitely made that happen. They were easy to work with, flexible to make your day the way you want it, and very experienced. We kept as much of the details secret about the wedding as we could to make it a surprise, and both families thought that the groom/best man arriving by canoe, and the bride/father of the bride arriving by stagecoach were very unique, special, and classy. The location is absolutely beautiful and the weather was great for us. I would without a doubt highly recommend them to anyone.

i really enjoyed having my wedding at aldas and buddys. even though my wedding was rainy and a storm was coming alda gave what she said she would. although there were some bumps in the road i hope she enjoyed having us. i did feel alittle rushed and pushed throughout the day and because of the weather alot wasnt done like our dance. but all in all i loved this place and buddy and alda were a joy to have and share our day with.

This venue was absolutely perfect for our wedding. If you want something in a natural, country setting, this is the perfect spot. It was really affordable the owners did everything to make our day perfect they were so sweet and very easy to talk to. If we had an issue we just let them know and they took care of everything for us. Very little decorations were needed as the property was perfectly beautiful already. I'm so glad we had our wedding there. We had a 80% chance of rain on our day (and it's completely an outdoor venue) so you would have to rent tents or have it inside (which is just as lovely) but luckily it stopped raining and we could have ours outdoors as planned.

Choosing Magnolia Hill for our wedding venue was the best choice we made regarding our wedding. Alda and Buddy went above and beyond what we asked to make our day perfect. The day of the wedding, I sat on my couch and relaxed with my bridesmaids with no anxiety about the evening. I could relax knowing that my family, friends, and I could show up and everything would be perfect. Every time I emailed or called Alda, I was met with a prompt "I'll take care of it, no worries." Alda and Buddy made our wedding a dream come true and our guests went on and on all night about how our wedding was the most beautiful and romantic wedding they have ever been to. Most importantly, my husband and I are still (over a week later) overwhelmed by how beautiful and memorable Alda and Buddy made our special day!

I am so happy that we had our wedding at Alda's Magnolia Hill. From the very first consultation to the wedding, Alda and Bubby took great care of us. The only thing I wish I could change is being able to use my own caterer. I can honestly say I was never stressed or worried about anything with the wedding and reception venue. I loved the red truck and the barn was beautiful. It was so nice to have Alda take care of pretty much everything and not have to worry about using 10 different vendors. Buddy and Alda really will take care of you from the beginning to end. I could not have asked for more! They are such great people and really love what they do. I look forward to keeping in touch with this sweet couple!

Alda and Buddy Ellis are the perfect hosts of this historic venue. The wedding for my daughter would have been absolutely perfect had it not rained 3 inches that day, so we were unable to have the dove release and carriage ride. Alda and Buddy do have a "Plan B" and were able to move the ceremony and reception indoors to their beautifully decorated barn/reception hall, and shuttled guests from a paved parking lot across the street to the bar. Guest comfort and our happiness were always their focus, and we appreciated their attention to details and eagerness to please! I highly recommend them for allowing the families to truly enjoy the wedding and reception due to their impeccable planning!

Miss Alda and Mr Ellis are beyond words to describe the passion, commitment, and dedication to the wedding they are hosting. My daughter was married there and as she promised, Miss Alda made sure everything was down to perfection; from the venue, to grounds, decorations, ceremony, caterer, and reception. I got married last September at Magnolia Hill. It was wonderful. I got so many compliments on what a beautiful wedding I had. Planning a wedding through Magnolia Hill was fun every step of the way. Alda and Buddy are so caring and treat you like family. This venue is unique while still remaining classy and refined. I would recomend this venue and Alda and Buddy's service to anyone. Truly amazing!!

I can easily say that choosing to have my wedding at Alda's Magnolia Hill was the best decision I made when wedding planning. Looking back I cannot imagine getting married anywhere else. Alda and Buddy are the sweetest, most helpful people who truly love what they do and really care for each bride's needs individually. The only thing that bothered me initially was that Alda has a set list of Vendors that she uses there. At first I was a little put off by that, but I quickly realized that having vendors at the wedding that had worked there before made things run so much smoother. I am still getting comments daily on how beautiful and unique my wedding was. If you have always dreamed of a fairy tale wedding (horse drawn carriage and all!) then you will love Alda's Magnolia Hill.

We absolutely loved this property. Both Alda and Buddy are unbelievably fantastic people. Our only sticking point was having to work with Catering Creations. We had an unbelievably awful experience with them before the food had a chance to ever hit the table. They were overpriced, impossible to get ahold of and completely inflexible for food or budget options. We had to break our contract with Magnolia Hill simply based on Catering Creations exclusivity there. It absolutely broke our heart. IF you are remotely interested in Magnolia Hill, meeting with Catering Creations beforehand is an absolute must...do NOT take anyone's word for it including Buddy and Alda at Magnolia Hill. It was an expensive lesson for us to learn but hopefully we can help someone else dodge the same pitfall.

The site was absolutely beautiful and the wedding was a success and incredible but the frustration and arguments we had to endure in order to have our wedding at this beautiful location lowered the rating in our opinion. Alda was pushy, overbearing and inflexible. She had a very hard time letting me and the groom plan the wedding we were dreaming of when our desires didn't match what she wanted. We ended up in many arguments with Alda about the way things would be done at OUR wedding which I thought was ridiculous since our wedding should be what we want... To top it off one the wedding day while I was busy getting ready she made changes to they way it would go behind my back. Changes that I strongly disagreed with. While I'm very glad we got to have our amazing wedding at such an incredibly beautiful place if I had known what we would have to go through with Alda I would have had to carefully consider a different location.

I am the brides Mom and I was not happy ......there were dying flowers left over from the nights before wedding on the patio....I was asked several times if they were our flowers! There were 3 tables sitting around on the patio that should have been used for the reception at the barn underneath the tent we rented for over flow. The tent was to be beside the barn not right in front of it. There was to be a table "as you come up the Hill" that was to have peach tea and water for the guests. Not!!! My husband had to run to the car several times for bottled water that we had brought in an ice chest for the bridal pictures before the wedding to give to elderly guests. (It was very hot at the wedding) My sister and youngest daughter went in the house to get water because of the heat and Alda told them they were not to be in the house and didn't even get the water. The tea that was set up at the reception was in a bad location and had a ladle. Some guests didn't find the tea until halfway through the reception! My daughter, the bride, was unhappy several times during the wedding as told to me by a bridesmaid later. I was very happy at my wedding 29 years ago and wanted the same thing for my daughter on her day. I am so disappointed she didn't get the wedding of her dreams!
