The Best Wedding Transportation!!

We were absolutely thrilled with the shuttle service provided by Albemarle Limousine for our wedding day! They truly took the stress out of our transportation logistics and delivered a top-tier experience for our guests.

We utilized the 22-passenger limousine, as well as the 44 and 55-passenger shuttles. All the vehicles were spacious, incredibly comfortable, and impeccably clean, giving the entire experience a truly luxurious feel.

Every single shuttle driver was timely, super friendly, and extremely accommodating. Their professionalism ensured a smooth and pleasant ride for everyone.

From the very first contact, the booking process was incredibly easy to navigate. The team was so knowledgeable, offering advice on scheduling, including when to have shuttles leave and arrive based on our hotel blocks and venue locations. It was clear they knew exactly what they were doing.

We are so happy we chose Albemarle Limousine and would definitely use them again for any transportation needs. If you need flawless, luxury transportation for your wedding or event, look no further!

Perfect Getaway Car!

We had a great experience with Albemarle Limousine as our getaway car service for our wedding at CrossKeys Vineyards. Our driver arrived right on time, was polite, professional, and genuinely nice to talk to at the end of such a big day. The whole experience was smooth and stress-free, which was exactly what we needed. I would absolutely recommend Albemarle Limousine to any couple getting married in the Charlottesville or Shenandoah Valley areas!

Most perfect wedding car!

I reserved the 1940 SENIOR PACKARD LIMOUSINE as my wedding entrance and get away car. Is was absolutely perfect. The Car was beautiful. Our drivers were friendly and very easy to work with. Albermarle Limousine was quick to respond to my emails and help with logistics. I highly recommend them for your vintage car needs. Thank you Albemarle!

Perfect transportation

Super convenient for our guests staying downtown to promptly arrive at our venue and safely get back
to their hotels at the end of the night. We booked two 55-passenger buses, and our guests couldn’t have
been happier. One bus was able to take an early trip back for guests wanting to leave early, and we even
rode one of the buses back with our guests at the end of the night. Don’t forget to account for a little
longer travel times when thinking about pickup times for your guests which they will kindly remind you
about as well. It can make hotel check-in and bus pickup a little tight for some guests depending on your
ceremony start time.

Excellent vendor -- exactly what you want!

Albemarle Limousine was responsive, reliable, and provided great service for our wedding. We used them for large busses, a 22-seat shuttle, and a vintage getaway car -- all were seamless. Would recommend them for any cville weddings.

Punctual drivers, happy guests

The drivers at Albemarle Limousine were efficient, punctual, and easy to work with. The guests felt safe, and we appreciated that they followed safety guidelines for COVID. Even though it was a home game weekend in Charlottesville, our guests arrived at the venue on time, and did not have any issues returning to their hotel.

Perfect Getaway Car!

We hired Albemarle Limo for our getaway limo and to transport my bridal party back to the Air Bnb. They were super easy to work with and were very patient as I went back and forth trying to find the right option.

Get the old car, just do it.

We originally contracted Albemarle Limousine for their 1940’s Packard and elected to have it on site early for photos. It wound up being an amazing conversation piece especially among our older male guests. The getaway ride and driver was amazing and exactly what we needed at the end our our long day. But of course as COVID did with most, we also had to make changes to our plans and Albemarle Limousine kept pace with no issues, changing our venue and drop off locations without stress, and even working with us to set up a shuttle service last minute! We cannot recommend them enough. (Seriously, get the old getaway car, it’s worth it)

Albemarle limousine was great! The day before the wedding they emailed our driver’s cell phone numbers and they were super accommodating when we needed a few earlier pickups. They were prompt and heard nothing but good things.

Getaway Car

Albemarle Limo was super easy to work with and provided the perfect get away car. They provided notifications day of, down to two hours prior to the driver's arrival. Our driver was excellent and I would highly recommend them!

Excellent getaway car for wedding!

We rented the 1946 Mark IV Jaguar to be our getaway car at our wedding and we couldn't have been happier with that decision. The car was beautiful and was such a nice touch to the wedding. We were also able to have our wedding planner and florist decorate the car. Albemarle was also easy to work with!

Best wedding transportation in Charlottesville!

Albemarle Limousine truly provides the best service in Charlottesville area, and they were such a good choice for our wedding transportation. Their team was very responsive and easy to communicate with during our planning process. When we needed to add or adjust vehicle itineraries, they did so without any issues. All our drivers were very respectful, timely and smooth drivers. Our driver, Patrick, in particular was the perfect combination of fun and courteous when he drove my bridesmaids and I around before the wedding and my husband and I at the end of the night. He even made sure we had an extra slice of cake ready for us in the back of the car! We would highly recommend working with Albemarle Limousine for any wedding or special event in the future!

We used Albemarle Limousine for our grand exit vehicle at our wedding. We were scheduled to do a sparkler exit and leave, but we just couldn't leave right away without speaking to so many of the out-of-town family and friends we hadn't gotten to see throughout our evening. Our driver waited patiently with the vehicle for almost an hour and then drove us the 30-ish minutes to our destination. We were so pleased with the service, his patience, and our overall experience with the company. We will definitely recommend them to friends and hopefully utilize their services again for other events!!

We rented the 1940 white Packard Limo from Albemarle Limousine for our wedding get-away car and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Not only is it a beautiful and pristine car, but the staff at the company were very helpful and quick to respond to my (many) questions. Mike was our driver for the night and provided exceptional service. He even stopped for us at a local gas station when my husband had a suit malfunction on the way to our rehearsal. I highly recommend Albemarle Limo!

Albemarle Limousine was one of the easiest vendors we worked with for our big day! We had lots of changes to the logistics and they updated our reservation quickly and accurately each time. Our drivers were courteous and on-time, the vehicles were clean and in good condition, and overall, it was one less thing we had to worry about on our big day! Would recommend to anyone planning a Charlottesville event!

Albemarle provided two 47-passenger buses for our guests from two different hotels in Charlottesville out to Trump Winery. Everything went seamlessly, all of our guests loved the buses, the drivers were friendly and very accommodating, and all arrived on time. My guests said the party continued at the end of the night on each of the buses as they went back to Charlottesville. We had one bus take guests back early, and both buses took the guests up to the chapel and back down the hill after our ceremony. Scheduling the buses was easy, and always professional. We would highly recommend Albemarle to anyone needing wedding transportation in the Charlottesville area. Very friendly, very helpful, and very accommodating. Thank you for taking such good care of our guests!

Albemarle Limousine did our wedding at Pippin Hill Winery on May 1st 2015. They were nothing but professional and helpful throughout the entire process. We had multiple hotels to worry about guests getting there, wife had to get hair/makeup in the morning, their whole staff came up with a plan that covered the entire day for the wedding party and all of our guests.

I would absolutely recommend them for any event.

Wonderful!!! Ablemarle Limo really went above and beyond! I'd highly recommend them to anyone not only for your wedding day but for any transportation needs you make encounter. They are very professional and punctual. We were able to rent a coach bus to transport our guests as well as a vintage limo for my hubby and I. Albermarle Vintage Limousine provided bus transportation for our wedding guests on June 29 and they were WONDERFUL to work with!!! We rented 3 buses from them and throughout the entire planning process they were very in addressing our questions/concerns!!! We had two different pick up locations and they were timely (which is very important since everything is on such a timeline on the wedding day) and professional!!! We highly recommend using Albemarle for your wedding transportation because of how amazing their service is and they go above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly on your wedding day!!! We rented the 1949 Packer to take us away at the end of the night, after our send off. The car was unbelieveable. So awesome. It was worth every (reasonable) penny to have it photographed in our wedding send off and in posed pictures we took after the wedding. It was unique and we loved it! The white Packard we had for our wedding was gorgeous, very unique and special and received numerous compliments from our guests! It arrived in gleaming condition.

Our driver arrived early and was totally charming. He told us about the history of the limousine during our drive, and was very accommodating to making stops for photograph opportunities. In the back of the limousine was a chic silver bucket with two bottles of water, which is just what we needed for such a hot, summer day.

This was definitely very special for a wedding and I would highly recommend Albemarle Vintage Limousine!

It was an absolute pleasure working with Albemarle Vintage Limousine - they are top-notch and the best in the business! We had the gorgeous white 1940 Packard Limousine for our wedding day and it truly added an AMAZING touch to our wedding. They are extremely professional and Andrea was absolutely wonderful to work with from beginning to end. The driver on our wedding day was the BEST, he was punctual, professional, calm and enjoyable to be around, most of all, he was extremely patient and flexible which is what you need most on your wedding day! Our driver John F. was such a gentleman and arrived on time! Albemarle was a great vendor to work with during planning of our wedding and the day of. The driver was polite to guest and dressed for the occasion not to mention the car was completely cleaned.
My only thing was that I didn't need the driver at the venue for 8 hours and had him sitting for a while (about an hour) prior to the wedding and released him multiple hours early (may have been nice for him).

Although a bit pricey, Albemarle Limousine were absolutely the best choice for our transportation on our wedding day. Most of our guests were out-of-towners, so we had large coach buses to get around Charlottesville. Although some of our guests missed the buses, they all arrived at our reception. The bus drivers were friendly and professional. The buses were immaculate. I enjoyed working with Albemarle Limousine for our wedding day.

While expensive, all the services we selected from Albemarle Limousine were excellent! We had a mini-bus pick up the bridesmaids/bride to chauffeur us to the venue and at the end of the night we had a getaway car of one of their Mercedes Sedan's. Each time, the driver was very professional and easy to work with. All of our correspondence with Albemarle was great, with quick responses and straightforward answers. Would recommend!

My husband and I had a fantastic experience with Albemarle Limo! Throughout the entire time we were planning our wedding, Andrea and her staff were extremely helpful and responsive. Transportation can be one of the most stressful parts of a wedding, but AL made it easy! We hired a vintage limo, SUV and large coach and all three were on time and extremely professional. Even when we had to make last minute changes to one of the reservations, AL switched some vehicles around in order to accommodate us. We would highly recommend using them for weddings/wine tours/any transportation in the future!

Great for a getaway car!

We used Albemarle Limousine for our getaway car and had a really nice experience. After the most hectic and incredible day, we really enjoyed a nice ride back with some calming music. They were really responsive and overcommunicated -- which is always a good thing with wedding planning.

We used Albemarle Limousine for a group wine tasting the Friday before our wedding in October. They were truly amazing from the day we requested information to the day we settled the bill.
We had a Gillie Jenkins as our chauffeur, he was extremely professional and polite. He worked out all the timings for the 2 wineries we visited and even called ahead on our behalf to inform them we were running a little late.
I would highly recommend Albemarle Limousine for your transportation needs.

Great Shuttle Service

We hired Albemarle Limousine for our wedding transportation for our guests to and from the hotel located in downtown Charlottesville to Keswick Vineyards. They were easy to work with and did a great job getting our guests safely from point A to point B. We even booked the vintage getaway car, which I originally wasn't sure we needed but I was so thankful to have after our reception. It allowed us time just the two of us to have some quiet time on the way back to the hotel before our afterparty. Overall, great service and value!

One bus for multiple locations

We booked Albemarle Limo for our guest transportation from two hotels in Charlottesville to our venue (James Monroe's Highland). They were able to change the bus from a 47 pass to a 55 pass a few days before due to more people being at the hotels than we thought. They were very responsive to emails and questions, especially when I got an email for an incorrect charge on the morning of the wedding (and induced a major freak out on my part)- they were very fast at rectifying that and finding out what happened (an error in their system). From what our guests said- they bus was on time and the driver was fantastic!

We used a 24 person "party limo" type shuttle for our wedding in Orange, VA. We had two guests staying at two different locations and Albemarle was excellent about making sure that all guests arrived on time. My friends also let me know that the driver, Gillie was a lot of fun, made an extra stop for refreshments and let them play whatever music they wanted. It was a great way to help our friends get the party started early, and keep it going once the reception was over. There were a few extra fees associated with a pick up outside of Charlottesville, but in the end, the service and safety of our guests were worth the price.

A first-class operation with a professional staff. Remember to adjust your needs of transportation based on your wedding attendance. October has become a very popular month and the availability of equipment (buses/limos) may be an issue. I suggest planning ahead and understand your time constraints. If you originally plan on 150 people and your exact count is reduced to 100, you need to adjust your equipment needs within X days based on your contract or you will incur the cost of the equipment needs for your original plan. Jennifer, the co-ordinator, was excellent.

Good Transportation!

The drivers from Albemarle were amazing! They managed to get all our guests up a very steep and rocky mountain to our venue safe and sound. Minus a small hiccup the week before where they had to change the service due to the conditions of the road everything went smoothly during the booking process. The drivers were very friendly to all our guests and were in constant communication with our coordinator on the day of.

We rented a 32 passenger van planning on most of our guests staying across town at the Oakhurst Inn...however our reception location became much more affordable and most of our guests stayed directly at the Boars Head Inn. This meant three weeks before the wedding we were stuck with a 32 passenger van for five people. Albemarle was nice enough to move us into a 14 passenger, however it really was a waste. Unfortunately only 4 guests took the transportation and we were out $1200.

Beware the vintage vehicle

Albemarle Limo provided the getaway car for our wedding reception. My husband and I had originally selected the vintage Jaguar Mark IV (priced at a whopping $1459 for a 30-minute ride), but because it rained on our wedding day, the company said it was unsafe to drive. They sent us a modern Mercedes S-class instead, which was fine, but not quite the romantic vintage getaway we’d planned on. It did save us a lot of money, though - the Mercedes was about $1000 cheaper, and Albemarle refunded us quickly.

Positive experience for wedding shuttles and getaway car

We had a positive experience working with Albemarle Limo for our wedding transportation needs. We had two shuttle buses who transported guests to the wedding venue from three different hotels, as well as a gorgeous vintage getaway car. They were great to work with in terms of navigating several hotels and locations.

Our limo driver was on-time and provided a smooth ride home, but actually got a little lost and would have driven by the house if we hadn't pointed it out to him.

HORRIBLE experience. I have used this company twice now and not had a wonderful experience either time. The second encounter and the one which was a much worse experience was for our wedding. We hired numerous of their buses to provide transportation to and from our guests houses to our venue. My mom had talked to them about making a trip out the area to do a test run but they said it was not necessary. Then, a few days before the wedding they decided "hey maybe that would be a good idea since you all are paying us all this money and we have never been there." They came down and determined that most of the houses they couldnt get their smaller passenger buses to and guests would have to drive to another location and get picked up there. WHY are we hiring you to then make our guests drive anyway?? Most of the roads were really not that hard to get into at all and we didnt ask them to go into any driveways (just the road it was on) - I truly think I could have done it myself. The company was being difficult and lazy in my opinion and needless to say we were very unhappy with their services. We had to inform many of our guests a day before the wedding that they would have to drive to get the bus after we told them prior that transportation would be provided. Many people ended up just driving themselves to the wedding because they were being told to drive somewhat anyway. This lead to having much more bus space than was needed - one 48 passenger bus showed up with 12 people on it. So we paid for services that didnt end up being used and then to top it all off, they charged us extra because they said they thought service ended at 12 not that pickup was at 12. I would not recommend this company to anyone and most definitely will not use them in the future!

Beware! You do NOT get what you reserve and pay for!

I hired Albemarle Limousine to handle the transportation needs (five reservations total) for the family and guests of my daughter’s wedding in October of 2019 at Trump Winery Grand Hall. My decision to hire Albemarle Limousine was based on the luxury, upscale, professional appearance of their buses, as well as the safety standards for our guests. When booking my initial reservation with Albemarle Limousine, I specifically requested all black coaches and was quoted and told they would either be black or white as shown on their website. I selected Albemarle Limousine coaches as part of the décor and how I wanted the pictures of the coaches to reflect the occasion. Much to my surprise on the Wedding Day, I see my guests traveling to Trump Winery Grand Hall in Quick's buses and not Albemarle Limousine! After contacting Albemarle Limousine, the CEO told me they subcontracted their work out to a different vendor, therefore, I received a totally different looking coach than I reserved and paid top of the line pricing to. There was nothing in my contract that indicated I would receive a different bus line for my daughter’s wedding. After several lengthy emails with the CEO of the company, she informed me that there was nothing wrong with their subcontracted work and this is how Albemarle Limousine does business. If I wanted a different bus line, I could have reached out to them directly and hired them as the reservations were booked a year in advance. I am so disappointed with my services with Albemarle Limousine. As a consumer, I expect to receive what I reserve and pay for, per my contract. They certainly did not perform up to their branding of a “new standard in limousine service”. Beware if you reserve with Albemarle Limousine! No matter what they tell you up front or what your reserve per the contract, you will not get what you paid for and what is on their website.
