Our wedding at Albany Country Club was absolutely perfect! From start to finish, Jill and Erica went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of. They were incredibly organized, kind, and accommodating, anticipating our needs before we even thought of them. The entire planning process was smooth and stress-free, and on the day itself, everything ran seamlessly.

The staff made us feel completely supported, and it truly felt like their top priority was ensuring our day went off without a hitch. The food and drinks were phenomenal, our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was!

We couldn’t have asked for a better team or a more beautiful venue. Jill, Erica, and the entire staff made our wedding unforgettable, and we are endlessly grateful. Highly recommend to any couple looking for a venue that truly cares about making your day magical.

I am biased because I work here, but when it comes to the venue, the staff and the food, there is nothing better out there for the price you will be offered. It literally was the best day ever!! Thank you for all you do there!!

Our wedding was magical. Kim , Courtney, Erica, Rocky and the whole team at Albany Country Club was the absolute best. Everything was perfect. Every detail they thought of and they were so attentive to everything we needed. It was decorated beautifully and the food was amazing. Our guests are still talking about our night. You are all the best! Highly recommend this venue to everyone!

Albany Country Club is the perfect place to have your wedding and reception! They insured that are wedding planning process went smoothly and that everyone at the wedding (including us!) had a wonderful time. It was truly a magical day. Just a few highlights (note: there are too many to count):
- Kim Aperance has over 20 years of wedding experience. I absolutely loved working with her from start to finish. She is smart, thorough and insures that every detail of your wedding is taken care of.
- Delicious Food: All of our guests raved about the food. The cocktail hour appetizers were crowd pleasers. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection. The raw seafood bar was a huge hit. Everyone loved the ice-cream bar at the end of the night.
- Beautiful Venue: We have so many stunning photos in part due to how beautiful their location/venue is. Their outside ceremony location on the terrace is idyllic with views of the countryside/Albany, rolling hills, etc.
- Wonderful staff: They helped to ensure that all our guests had great drinks, quick food service, etc. Frankie in particular was a HUGE hit with my Bride Squad.
- Rainy Day Back-up Plans: They have a spot onsite where, if it rains, you can hold the ceremony inside (with, of course, beautiful views).
- It's YOUR day: They don't book multiple weddings for the same day, so you and your vendors can come first thing in the morning to start setting up.
I also wanted to share one story to explain how much Kim & her staff went above and beyond for our wedding. I moved to the Albany area to be with my now husband. I left behind a large number of family and friends in DC area. For my wedding, I wanted to involve everyone in our special day and had a Bride Squad of 24 (plus 4 daughters of members). Kim helped put together a wonderful pre-wedding event on our wedding day for my Bride Squad which included appetizers, a mimosa bar and a photo session for us all with our photographer on the country club grounds. Kim even allowed us to have the event in the formal Albany Room instead of the Bridal Suite. We have incredible photos and memories from that time together that are so, so special. I am so thankful that I got to spend extra time celebrating with my friends on the day of our wedding. And it was only able to all come together with Kim's help.

Albany Country Club was beyond amazing for our wedding day. From the moment we first toured it, we fell in love with how beautiful it was inside and out. We got the perfect wedding day which allowed our guests to utilize the amazing outdoor patio while other guests enjoyed the music and dancing on the inside. The event head coordinator, Kim, was also amazing to work with. It is obvious that her and her staff have done many events in the past. Courtney and Erica were with us all day from getting ready until we left at the end of the night. Their hospitality was perfect and we did not have to worry about anything all day. I would recommend ACC to anyone looking to have a perfect wedding day and experience.

Albany Country Club was the perfect venue for our wedding for so many reasons. The venue itself is beautiful inside and out. We were able to enjoy cocktail hour out on the patio which was gorgeous with views of Albany and a lot of people commented on how they appreciated the chance to spend time outside. We were able to do all of our pictures on site which made the day easy for us and our bridal party. The food and service was excellent. The staff is incredibly helpful, friendly, and on top of everything you could think of. Kim and her team were so helpful from the start and guided us through the process. The majority of the staff has been there for countless years so they have plenty of experience and make sure everything runs so smoothly. We owe Kim, Erica, and the rest of the staff a huge thank you because they effortlessly made our whole day perfect. They made sure we didn’t have to worry about set up or clean up for the day of which really helped with last minute stressors. I am so glad we had our reception here and can’t wait for someone else to have an event here so we can come back!!

There is not one thing I would change about my wedding experience at the Albany Country Club.
Working with Kim was easy and enjoyable, from our first visit to look at the venue in April 2020 to the day of. Kim was responsive to our emails and answered all my questions. Kim was so attentive to detail and her presence on the day of the wedding put us at ease! She worked seamlessly with our other vendors to make sure we had the best experience that day.
I can’t say enough kind words about all of the staff at Albany Country Club. Every single person we met on our several visits there, from servers to other office staff were warm, welcoming, always offering us congratulations and making us feel special! The service at my wedding was truly top notch. John and Courtney were by our sides anytime we needed anything! They went above and beyond to do anything we asked of them that evening. They were not only such professionals, but also friendly faces for us throughout the evening! After speaking with our guests it seems everyone felt the same way about the service.
After our wedding no one could stop talking about how much they loved their meal! Everyone said their filet was cooked perfectly and that everything was delicious. (The lobster Mac and cheese was a huge hit!). And the amount of food we got in the package for the price we paid is incredible! As we were looking at other venues it was very clear to us that the Albany Country Club offers the most for your money!
Overall we just could not get over the attention to detail and the level of service we received. It felt like everyone there really made it their top priority to give us our dream day, an evening of perfection. And that’s really how we felt when we left! I can’t wait to come back for every anniversary!

Kim and her staff were super helpful with planning our wedding! Our day was beyond what we had ever hoped for. The staff was very attentive on the day of. Everybody told us how much they loved the food. The venue was beautiful!

We had a great experience at Albany Country Club! As MOB, I found Kim and all staff to be organized, calm, and responsive to our needs. The day of our daughter’s wedding, the ladies in the bridal party spent the day in the bridal suite for hair and make-up. We had the wing to ourselves and it felt like our home for the day. As it happens, we are going to ACC tonight for another party and are so looking forward to lovely food and service. ACC is a beautiful venue, both with regard to scenery, the facility, and the service!

Our wedding day was so awesome! Firstly, the setting, views, and venue are stunning. Secondly, the coordination, service, food, flexibility, and attention to detail were incredible. Kim and her team went above and beyond to make our day everything (and more) we hoped it would be. We had such a great experience as did our guests. So many friends and family members are already chatting about planning their own future events at Albany Country Club. We could not be more pleased. Just wow! Kim at Albany Country Club (YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A MEMBER!!!) was absolutely amazing. Nothing was ever a problem for her, she was just so accommodating from our meet, all the way through to the 100 degree scorching hot wedding day! We can't forget to mention Erica, who was with us every step of our special day. The entire staff was well, they were so professional. We had so many people compliment the venue and the incredible food. We knew the views at Albany Country Club are the best in the area, but we, no doubt, got the greatest sunset of all time!!! The pictures speak for themselves. We honestly couldn't recommend Albany Country Club enough! !!!

We just had our wedding at Albany Country Club. These folks are truly professionals and are great at what they do. There were no flaws in anything they did. We just had our daughter's wedding here. It was truly amazing. The most friendly and attentive staff I have ever met. The food was amazing the perfect place to have a beautiful affordable wedding of your dreams. We never wanted or needed to ask for anything they were there the whole time for you.

We had our daughter’s wedding at the Albany Country Club in September of 2019. I cannot say enough good things. The venue is wonderful and the grounds are simply beautiful and well kept. It has enough space and rooms to have accommodations outside and inside if raining. Kim the event coordinator lead us calmly through the year long process and didn’t miss a thing. She was professional and with us every minute on the day of the wedding. We had the rehearsal dinner there also the night before and all meals both days were delicious. Everyone loved the food. The cocktail hour was excellent and beautifully displayed. Also a shout out to Erica which also was our go to person the day of the wedding. Anything we needed, she was there and also the things we forgot, she filled in without even being asked. Elaine also was very attentive and caring toward my daughter and I thank her for her excellent service. Overall a great experience. I would highly recommend Albany Country Club for any event!

My daughter was married there on 9/7/19. It was the absolute best experience from the planning to the wedding day. Kim Aperance and her staff, including Erica Maturo, were absolutely fantastic, warm, attentive and extremely well organized. All of them made sure that the day went smoothly. The food was excellent and we received numerous compliments from our guests regarding this as well as the entire experience. I would not hestitate to give them my highest recommendation. They made such an important day for our family, the absolute best.

My husband and I got married at the Albany County Club on September 23, 2017 and I cannot say enough good things about it! Our wedding was magical and that is thanks to Kim, the staff and the beautiful venue. It was the one and only venue I looked and immediately fell in LOVE. We worked with Kim the beginning of the wedding planning experience. She is professional, knowledgeable, and always there to answer your questions and our bridal attendant on the day of our wedding was amazing, we wanted for nothing!

The Club has the most breathtaking views from the minute you pull up, our wedding was something out of a magazine! We received so many compliments on the venue and the food! We are so thankful that we chose the Albany County Club to host one of the most important days of our lives <3

Albany County Club is the perfect venue. Kim and her team are top notch. Patient, and listen to what the Bride is envisioning. Go way out of their way to ensure that everything is perfect from start to finish. And I don't even know where to begin with the food. The appitizers were delicious and plentiful. The patio for cocktail hour is spectacular. Plenty of seating and room to mingle without feeling closed in. Scenery is spectacular and the flowers bordering the patio are gorgeous. Then, fast forward to dinner where guests raved about their meals. We couldn't have had a more a more perfect evening!

My husband and I had our wedding reception here a couple weeks ago, and I am not exaggerating when I say that it was perfect! We could not have pulled off the event as perfectly without this venue. First of all, everyone I spoke to raved about the venue because of how beautiful it is and how many fine details Kim and her staff put into executing a flawless event. From the beginning, Kim was always a huge help to me and I did not have to worry about things not getting done because she had everything taken care of. Erica, too, was AWESOME! She is incredibly nice and shows up at the perfect time with your food and drinks throughout the night. By the way, the food is amazing. Not only is it delicious, but the portions are pretty large- especially for a wedding! AND there's tons of great food at the cocktail hour, too. I seriously cannot say enough positive things about Albany Country Club! Thank you so much for making my wedding day the fairy tale I had dreamed of!

Where do I begin!! From the lunch served while my bridesmaids and I got ready to the sweet, thoughtful package they put together for us at the end of the night, the service at Albany Country Club is top notch. The entire staff made our day run seamlessly. Erica and Kim were especially great!! Erica was our personal attendant who made sure we were taken care of all night. They even picked up on what our favorite candy was from our candy bar and made sure that we were sent home with a bag of it at the end of the night! Our guests raved about the food and the overall beauty of the location. I seriously could go on and on about Albany Countey Club. Our day could not have been any more perfect, and we could not have been happier!!

This is absolutely the best place to have a wedding!
We had our wedding reception here on 10/8/2016 and it was more perfect than we dreamed of. The atmosphere is beautiful and romantic with spectacular views, large windows in the ballroom, and brand new interior design. It was great for pictures, both outside and inside. We are not members at the club, but on our wedding day we felt like we were.
Throughout the entire planning process and during our wedding the staff were wonderful and went above and beyond to meet all of our requests; they surprised us by making a special appetizer dish as well providing a special beer. The service during the event was superb, all of the food was outstanding, and the flow of the evening was perfect. We loved how we were the only wedding they had that day, which is their policy, and the cocktail hour + reception was 6 full hours! When the bridal party arrived early, before cocktail hour started, they had delicious vegetables, snacks, and champagne for us to enjoy before we took our pictures. It was so thoughtful! That is just one example of how wonderfully we were treated. During dinner my husband and I had a "sweetheart table" for just the two of us and we were so glad we did it that way. We took the time to eat our dinner together, which I recommend doing because our entrees were delicious and it allowed us to soak everything in. We had our own special waiter, Kenny, who was so sweet and attentive.
Kim helped us organize the event, recommended great vendors to work with, and was there on the day of helping to orchestrate the evening until we left. Kim is professional, detail-oriented, and positive.
I highly recommend having your wedding at ACC, I can't imagine spending the best day of my life anywhere else!

This venue is spectacular! The views are amazing and the price is extremely competitive. However, Kim and Kenny are the BEST at what they do. They handle everything that needs to be done. You feel like family and nothing is less than superb. The food is incredible. The service is spot on. They made our day so wonderful!!!!!

Kim and the staff at ACC are incredible! From the second we walked in the door, we knew ACC was going to be our wedding venue. Kim has so much experience that she makes the entire process so easy and relaxed. She handled everything and we did not have to worry about anything. The cocktail hour and reception were beautiful and Kim and Kenny were there the entire time to make sure we were happy with everything. Getting married at ACC was the best decision we ever made and we absolutely loved everything about our wedding night.

The breathtaking view got my attention, but the courtesy and kindness of the staff won me over. Kim runs a tight ship and keeps everything in order. My wedding ran smooth and flawless. The food was hot and delicious and there was no wait between courses. The wedding party had their own personal waiter, Kenny, all day long. He took care of everything! I Absolutely recommend this venue to anyone looking for a job well done!

When my then-fiance and I started to look for wedding venues, we were living out of town in Buffalo, NY (but are both from Albany). While in town for a weekend, we went to look at a venue that I had my heart set on but was disappointed in what we saw. Afterwards, my dad had mentioned Albany Country Club and I immediately called and spoke with Keith Aperance who, after I let him know that we were only in town for the day and had no appointment, immediately and with no hesitation told us to come on in and look at the venue! I instantly fell in love with everything, from the ballroom, to the terrace patio, to the intricate fireplaces. Every single gorgeous detail made me see exactly what I envisioned my wedding day to look like. I'm so happy that first venue didn't reach expectations, because Albany Country Club reached and exceeded every single expectation I ever had for my wedding day. Kim and Kenny did such a beautiful job with all the little details and to make sure that every single person was happy and satisfied. Kim has so much experience that I was able to step away from some of the stressful planning and trust her with everything (and was not disappointed)! The food was superb, 5 star quality and my guests are STILL talking about how delicious everything was and how rare it is to have such amazing food at a wedding nowadays. The bartenders and wait staff were impeccable, not leaving 1 person waiting for a drink, extra napkin, glass of water, etc. The ballroom/patio were set up exactly as I had pictured and requested and then some! This venue is one-of-a-kind with it's gorgeous views and landscaping. The buckets of flowers that cascaded on the patio walls as I walked down the aisle added so much to our ceremony. Because of ACC and the flawless staff, our wedding day was everything we ever dreamed of and so much more!

Choosing the Albany Country Club for our ceremony and reception was one of our best decisions when planning our wedding. Kim was so helpful and accommodating for the whole planning process and the service the day of the wedding was phenomenal. I really wanted our ceremony outside and the day of the wedding it was sunny but around 58 degrees. Kim knew that was important to me and made sure I still had my outside ceremony and cranked up the outside heaters. Kenny was our head waiter and he was on top of everything all day and night! He always had what ever we wanted ready for us before we even asked! Our guests were so impressed with the service and said the food was fantastic. The Albany Country Club knows what they are doing and do it flawlessly. I would recommend them to anyone! Kim, Kenny, and the rest of the ACC staff are a huge reason as to why our day was so perfect and I can not thank them enough!

Kim, Kenny and the staff at ACC were simply Amazing!!!! Forget the wedding planner... you have Kim!!! She takes care of you from start to finish.. never once did I stress about the venue or ceremony. She was always there to answer questions and even offer up suggestions. The food is impeccable; our guests raved about it all night and still days later are talking about it! The venue itself is just gorgeous! Highly recommend having your ceremony out on the patio.. the view is STUNNING! And Kenny.. simply put.. he is the man! He takes care of you and your spouse... and you feel like royalty. Never once did I have an empty drink.. and he tracked us down to tell us when dinner was ready- and made us sit and enjoy our meals (which as I said before was impeccable). He isn't afraid to dance, sing or photobomb your cake shots :) I have not one negative thing to say about ACC and their wonderful staff!! I hope we have the chance to go to another event or wedding at ACC.. because if so we will CLEAR our calendars to be there!!!!

My wedding was absolutely perfect! The location is amazing for pictures, the grounds are beautiful. The staff is AMAZING, between Kim and Kenny they go above and beyond and ensure the day is perfect. They literally take care of you every step of the way and make sure your day is everything you dreamed it would be. They remember what is important to you, who is important to you, your preferences, everything. My guests loved the food, from the appetizers to the entrees, everything was perfect. Prior to the actual day, Kim was so helpful with everything, she answered all of our questions was always willing to help or allow us to stop by to see the venue again. I can't say enough amazing things about my wedding and much of that is to the amazing work of the ACC staff.

Kim = best wedding coordinator ever! Very professional, takes care of all your wishes in a calm cool and collective manner, gives excellent advice as she's done this for 20+ years so she knows what you want/need before you even know. Amazing lady; lobes working with her. Ken = THE MAN! Pretty much your number one helper for the whole thing. He aims to please and does just that and then some. He not only helped the bride and groom, but the bridal party, our parents, he was beyond great! This venue is not only gorgeous, but has the perfect layout/flow for a wedding, the food is delicious (we recommend the prime rib, you will be very impressed with the flavor, size, and thickness of it), the help is fabulous... we had the best day ever. I promise you cannot go wrong booking with Albany Country Club. Exceeded my expectations.

I couldn't have asked for anything more. The food was amazing and so was the staff! They were extremely attentive all night and did everything they could to make sure we had everything we wanted. I have gotten so many wonderful compliments from all of our guests. The location is private and the views are stunning which made for some amazing pictures. Everyone had a wonderful time and I am so pleased we chose to have our wedding here. 5 stars all the way!

If I could give a rating higher than a 5 I would. We held our reception at Albany Country Club and could not be happier with the service we were given along with the value of what ACC provided. This place is first class all the way. Kim was so helpful meeting all of our needs (some of which she had never been asked to do before) and Kenny was a huge asset the day of the wedding. They made us feel so comfortable and at ease and by the end of it we felt like we had known them for years! Everything was as smooth as could be the day of and we were able to enjoy every single second of our reception- which is something I did not expect. We are still getting compliments on how amazing every little detail was, especially the food!

When we started to search for venues for our wedding, immediately we fell in love with Albany Country Club just by looking at pictures on their website. This was our first and only venue visit we had, we did have two others scheduled but we visited ACC first and knew that is where we wanted to have our wedding (So we canceled the other two appointments immediately...). Kim was wonderful to work with, very helpful and always answered our questions in a timely manner. Ken is also great! He is with you for the entire day and is such a delight to have around. Our guests reported rave reviews about the food that was at the wedding, the lobster mac and cheese for cocktail hour was a hit and we were told the filet mignon was the best filet mignon they had ever had at a wedding! Kim and staff at Albany Country Club really out did their selves.

We had a fairly small wedding (120 ppl), we did our rehearsal the day before our ceremony cocktail hour and reception at the Albany Country Club (One stop shop made everything so much easier and allowed us time to enjoy our guests and not be rushed) I highly recommend to have ceremony and reception at the same location. The Albany country club was everything we wanted for our big day and so much more. I cannot praise them enough. The view was breathtaking (June wedding) plenty of locations for perfect pictures. The food was fabulous from the various food selections for cocktail hour to choose from to our delicious dinner entrees (everyone raved about). During the food tasting we were treated like royalty Kenny went through every selection and was able to give us pointers and feedback when my husband and I and our best man couldn’t make a decision because we loved all the selections. The staff was amazing. Kim (event coordinator) not only knows her stuff (due to her many years of service and many many event planning), made this potential overwhelming planning to effortless and non-stress. I trusted her fully from the very beginning. I showed her a few ideas of what I was looking for and the overall atmosphere i was looking for and she made it happen, I never had doubted her. Kenny!!! Kenny was our personal butler throughout the night and let me tell you by the end of the night he was a celebrity. Everyone is still talking about Kenny. He made it all that much more personal. He was full of energy and very personable. He made everyone feel like they had his personal attention and catered to everyone. He was part of our family by the end of the night. My only hope is that i can have an excuse to book another event with the Albany Country Club in the near future. Loved Loved Loved everything about it!

We had our ceremony and reception at the ACC and it was such a memorable day! Not only are the grounds beautiful, the food is delicious, and the staff are top shelf! Kim was extremely professional and helpful in planning all aspects of our wedding. Kenny the head waiter tended to every need and kept everyone's drinks full. We never had to worry about any detail, the staff handled everything. Our guests are still raving about it and saying it was the best wedding they have ever been to.

The Club is always beautiful, and our rehearsal dinner did not disappoint. We had about 30 people, and each person was given individualized attention and service. The food was amazing, my glass was never empty without a fresh one on the way. Our guests were very impressed and we were very happy!

Kim Aperance helps guide you through all the steps of the ceremony and reception making sure everything runs smoothly. We recently had our wedding at the Albany Country Club. If the view from the main ballroom and the unique shape of the room doesn't win you over, the service and final outcome of your wedding day sure will. If I could provide one piece of advice to future brides, it would be to have your wedding at Albany Country Club. Kim, Kenny, and the rest of the country club team are amazing. We had our ceremony and reception at Albany Country Club….and it truly was the wedding of my dreams! I didn’t have a wedding planner, but I didn’t need one, as Kim was willing to help with every detail. She made recommendations for vendors, helped plan the schedule for the day, ran the rehearsal and wedding ceremony, ensured the bridal party was always in the appropriate places, made sure food was served promptly, and proactively ensured all the little details for the wedding ceremony and reception ran smoothly. I had my heart set on an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, but was pleased to know that there was a very good inclement weather plan if necessary. I especially appreciated how the country club didn’t nickel and dime us – if they owned something, we could use it – whether it was a table for the ceremony, candles for the reception tables, a lantern for guests to put their wedding cards in, different color linens, etc. They offer wedding packages of various prices to meet different budgets. The wait staff was attentive to me and my husband, our bridal party, and all of our guests. Despite having almost 200 people drinking, there was a never a line at the bar. The food was fantastic! The views were breathtaking! When the night was over, everything we had brought with us was ready for my family to take home. My husband and I were having so much fun dancing and talking to our guests that were never ate dinner. Without us even asking, Kenny had our dinners and some appetizers packed for us so we could eat later. There was not one little detail from the wedding day that was overlooked. I could go on and on about how wonderful, professional, and organized Kim and the Albany Country Club team are! I can’t thank them enough for making sure our wedding day was perfect!

The staff was extremely nice and accommodating to the wedding party and guests. One of the guests came up to me and told me they went up to the bar and asked for a certain drink and they didn't have the supplies and the bartender actually went and found what was needed for it. which in turn made that guest feel very welcomed and made me and my husband know we made the right choose when we picked our reception venue.

While searching for a wedding venue, I had gone to the trouble of looking at about fifteen different ones. As soon as we came to the Club, we both knew this was it. Everything about it was perfect; the ceremony setting outside and the inside reception area. During the event, due to the amazing planning and coordination of the entire staff and our planner, Kim Aperance, everything went incredibly smoothly. And that is not mentioning anything about the food! The food was spectacular!! Everyone that I've talked to since the wedding have mentioned how amazingly delicious the food was.

My daughter's wedding was everything I wanted it to be. The staff at Albany Country Club went out of their way to make it perfect. Kim and Eric were extremely professional and so patient every step of the way. I dropped everything off two days before the wedding. When we arrived on the wedding day the room was set up to perfection. Ken the head waiter was always there to help the wedding party. Devin the head chef did a suburb job with the food-it was delicious.
I felt like all I needed to do was have a great time.

Kim, Kenny and the staff at the ACC were fabulous to work with. We recently had our wedding ceremony and reception at this venue and I would not have changed one thing. The place is beautiful!! As a bride to be I was nervous and clueless on what I needed to plan a wedding, Kim was right there to guide me and answer any questions we had. As far as the day of the event the service was out of this world! The food was phenomenal as well. I would recommend this venue to anyone. Thank you for making are wedding amazing!!!

Kim, Kenny, and the staff at the Albany Country Club are excellent. They made the wedding planning process so easy, and they are extremely helpful and professional. Kim was quick to answer my questions, and very patient. She made sure everything was set to go for our big day. The day of the wedding, Kenny was there to attend to our every need, and the needs of our close family and bridal party, but was not always hovering or at all in the way. He knew what've needed before we asked, and made sure I was taken care of all night. I would absolutely recommend them to someone looking for a venue.

As soon as I booked with Albany Country Club, everyone I met told me to not fear about a thing because ACC takes care of it. Kim and her team have been doing this for many years and have things down to a science. I felt very taken care of - certainly didn't hurt that we had a gorgeous day and their patio cocktail hour was splendid. Food was great too!!!

I'm so happy I chose Albany Country Club for my wedding. Kim and her entire staff were amazing from day one. Kim helped me with several aspects of my wedding from recommending a great photographer to setting up my many decorations I made to creating a great cigar bar on the patio for my guests. When the flowers failed to show for my wedding cake her staff even went to the garden, cut some coordinating flowers and decorated my cake for me putting any worries I had at ease. All my guests raved about the vast amount of appetizers, excellent dinner and tremendous service. Thanks ACC!!

We got married at the Albany County Club on 10/12/12, we also had a reception there as well. Kim and her staff was amazing. Kim helped me every step of the way, and she has many tips and ideas to help make the planning of your wedding a breeze. Kenny your head waiter is there for every little thing that you need. The whole staff makes you feel at home. We also had the photobooth and that great too. All of our guests had a great time wearing all the different props that they have for it. If you have your wedding at the Albany Country Club you will not be disappointed!

ACC did an amazing job with our wedding ceremony (held on site) and our reception. Their staff are on top of their game! the bridal room they prepared for us was so nice to get ready and spend time before the ceremony. Guests raved about the food, especially the outdoor cocktail hour. A fantastic value all around.

Wow, Albany Country Club really out did themselves for our wedding. We had high expectations for everything with what we had heard from other people but we were completely blown away. Everything was absolutely perfect. Kim and her team are very professional and also flexible. They made sure we had everything we wanted! Our food was amazing, our cocktail hour out on the patio was amazing, our reception room was amazing as was everything in between. I highly recommend having your wedding at Albany Country Club. This was the most important choice we made with the whole wedding planning process and let me honestly tell you that it made all the difference! The Albany Country Club was absolutely perfect! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would in a heartbeat!

The grounds at the Albany Country Club are picturesque. It's a beautiful place for pictures and we are still getting compliments from our guests. We got married in the Albany room; which has stunning views. Then the cocktail hour was outside on their amazing patio. For me, that was one of the club's best features. What a perfect place to get the reception started. It was very classy, yet relaxed and fun. The reception room was decorated beautifully, and the staff paid attention to every detail! They even made the dance floor larger for us! At night the windows offer stunning views of the city. We couldn't have asked for more!

When it comes to the food, well let's just say everything was INCREDIBLE! The cocktail hour had non-stop amazing food, while the dinner was simply delicious. No one left hungry! We even have this running joke about the chicken cordon bleu with my boss because he apparently went through a few trays on his own, and the staff was more than happy to keep bringing him more! The food was first class all the way.

As much as I have raved about the grounds and food, perhaps the best thing about the Albany Country Club was their level of service. Kim Aperance the Assistant General Manager was unbelievable. Forget hiring a wedding planner if you have your wedding here. Kim is an incredible event planner and was there for us every step of the way. No question was ever too trivial. Every vendor we went to raved about working with her. Kim's attention to detail and suggestions were priceless. We felt completely secure that everything would work out with Kim in charge (and it certainly did). I cannot say enough good things about her. The head server Kenny was also wonderful. What a great guy! Literally you would think of something you wanted and before you could even ask for it, it would be in front of your face! He even went above and beyond by packing up all our gifts (even a great present from the country club!), cake, and other things to take home. The rest of the staff from the waiters to bartenders were also first class. Everyone was eager to help and so friendly!

In closing, I cannot say enough good things about the Albany Country Club. They honestly made our wedding the best day of my life. If you want to have an incredible wedding that your guests continually rave about, then choose the Albany Country Club!

Albany Country Club was a beautiful venue that allowed us to remain flexible in our planning. Our cocktail hour was outside and the reception was in the main hall....however, after a thundershower, the Club got everyone inside within a few minutes and started serving so there was no lag time. Everyone was extremely professional and the food was amazing.

We had been searching for a venue that was not only beautiful but within our budget. We had seen a few other country clubs but fell in love with ACC as soon as we stepped foot in the front door. The venue is classic and elegant and offers amazing views of the grounds overlooks downtown Albany, the food is amazing, and the staff is top notch! Kim was always very helpful and answered all of my questions leading up to the big day. She is very knowledgeable and is truly great at what she does. She took care of all of the little details and made sure everything went smoothly the day of the wedding, we cannot thank her enough for all of her hard work. If you book your reception at ACC you'll have the pleasure of having Kenny as your personal head waiter. Ken went above and beyond for us and our bridal party, anything we could possibly need was taken care of by Ken. He is so sweet and so attentive and is definitely a staple of the ACC experience. We opted for the dessert bar at the wedding and we were so glad we did, the spread that they had was phenomenal and had everything you could possibly think of. The woman who put it all together did an absolute amazing job, it was better than I even imagined! All of the staff at ACC are excellent, from the early morning till the end of the night everyone there made sure we and our guests had an amazing time. Our guests really loved when the staff did the Wobble with us during the reception too! At almost a month after our wedding we are still hearing all about what a great time our guests had and it has been dubbed "the best wedding" many of them have ever been to. That compliment speaks volumes to ACC and it's wonderful staff, without them I don't think our day would have been so perfect!

We had both our ceremony and reception at the Albany Country Club--it was an absolutely perfect day. We spent our entire day there--the girls even had a special room to get ready in and to do hair and makeup. Kim, Eric, Kenny and the entire ACC team are fabulous. There is absolutely no reason to hire a wedding planner if you have your wedding at the ACC--they take care of everything. The ACC staff is incredible, especially Kenny. Every little request we had was taken care of. The staff absolutely made our wedding day.

The food is delicious--all our guests raved about it, especially the lobster mac and cheese!

The ceremony took place outside on the Berkshire Patio--it was so beautiful. The grounds of the country club are really beautiful and extremely well maintained--it made for some fabulous photos.

Albany Country Club is a beautiful venue to use as a wedding reception. They have a great outdoor patio for the cocktail hour and just added a brand new bar outside. The room is beautiful and not your typical box of a room! Ken is the man! Kim was very professional! Will highly recommend!

My husband and I got married at Albany Country Club in June 2021. We looked at a dozen venues before ACC and once we saw it we knew it was the place for us. The breathtaking views, the gorgeous patio, the endless food options... It was perfect! Kim, Erica and the rest of the team went above and beyond to make sure our day went off without a hitch. Although the months leading up to the big day were stressful due to the state COVID regulations, I always felt calmer after a phone call or email from Kim. I am very grateful for our special day and I would highly recommend ACC to future wedding couples too.

After looking at 13 venues (yes you read it correctly 13) other venues, Albany Country Club was our #1 pick from the beginning. We booked our date almost 2 years in advance because that is how much we loved it there! We got married on July 20th, 2018 and Albany Country Club made the day beyond perfect! If I were to do the day all over again I would hands down get married here again! Between Kim the banquet manager and Erica the head waitress, our day was beyond perfect. I am a control, OCD freak and I did NOT have to worry about one thing because of these two ladies. They made my vision come true without me having to do anything myself!!

Kim and her team were amazing. Everything went smoothly on the wedding with no problems. The food was excellent and service was wonderful.

Kim at Albany Country Club is wonderful to work with. We had the best time planning our wedding (ceremony and reception) there. We had planned on having our wedding outside this past July, but as it rained everyday, including our wedding day, that was not possible. However, the staff at Albany Country club set up the ceremony room inside beautifully! Everything was set up exactly the way I wanted it in the reception space. When the rain finally stopped we got amazing pictures outside with the wonderful scenery around us. Our personal waiter, Kenny, took care of us all night, and the food and drinks were delicious! We didn't have to worry about a thing, because Kim took care of EVERYTHING for us. When the night was over, everything that we had bought was already packed up and ready for my family to take home. The Albany Country Club is not only a beautiful venue, but the staff there is professional and puts the finishing touches on every little detail. We would not change a thing about our wedding day there!

Our wedding at the ACC was wonderful. Kim and Kenny were extremely helpful through the day of our wedding. We had last minute guests that arrived and Kim was very easy going about having to set out more table settings for them. Kenny was fabulous and everyone raved about the fantastic service. The food was great. The ACC was very accommodating for everything that we needed on that day, and in our requests. They cleaned and packed everything up that night, so that we were able to take a lot home. I would absolutely do something there again if needed!

Since we lived in FL while planning our Capital District wedding, it was quite a task finding the perfect venue - we first thought of having our wedding in FL but all the venues were too small or too dated. Since we both grew up in NY, we spent a few days looking in the Albany area - we knew we wanted an outdoor garden like wedding and once I saw Albany Country Club's amazing outdoor views and Northern feeling, we knew we had to go with NY and ACC! The staff the day of our wedding was outstanding. Kenny, our personal butler for the day, was a dream come true. Anything you needed he was there to help with. Kim and her staff were extremely accommodating on the day as well, and just as I mentioned in my DJ's review, I had to worry about nothing! I was a very organized bride.... with excel spreadsheets and project plans.... but this did not shake Kim or her team, they were very thorough at the rehearsal to ensure my vision was completed - AND b/c I was so 'organized and scheduled' while planning my wedding I didn't want to have to do that the day of my wedding - and Kim made sure I enjoyed my day with my 'project' hat off and my 'bride' hat on! ACC also worked well with a close friend I had available the day of the wedding to help with the layout of all my personal touches. The seating plan of the room came out nice, since we initially had a much larger wedding guest list than those who attended and the food was amazing. They checked with husband and I a few times throughout the reception to make sure everything was going smooth and nothing was needed.
So, if you want a seamless and fun venue you must go with ACC!!

Overall, we had an AMAZING experience with Albany Country club. I can't say enough great things about Kim, as well as Kenny. Kim was great to work with - so prompt, handled everything professionally, and took care of everything we could ask for! Kenny was the head waiter and took such good care of us, as well. Many guests commented on how great he was. The country club looked so beautiful, I wasn't even upset when we couldn't have cocktail hour outside because of rain! The only reason I gave a 4 for professionalism is because one member of the waitstaff went to each table several times and asked them if she could have the centerpiece from their table.

We were thrilled that we booked our reception at the Albany Country Club. They catered to every detail, were extremely professional and had wonderful staff who took care of every detail.
Only challenge was that the assistant manager was the only one who worked on the wedding coordination and she is so busy sometimes it is hard to get in touch with her. Regardless, she made our event perfect and we did not have a thing to worry about!
