Fantastic Experience with Lovebug Media!

Alan and his Lovebug Media team are spectacular! Before we even received our videos we were already so gladthat we hired them as our wedding day videographers. They were easy to work with, and more importantly, FUN to work with. In the planning stages, they were super responsive, knowledgeable, and made us feel heard when we had ideas/visions about what we wanted. On top of that, Alan and his team shared their experiences and expertise, which resulted in videos that were beyond our expectations. (And my husband has some high expectations working in that production world. hah!) I can't overstate how much I would recommend Alan & the team for wedding day videography. Also, their turnaround time exceeded our expectations too! Thanks Lovebug Media!

If you want a video that will make you laugh, cry, and feel like the star of your own rom-com, Lovebug Media is the way to go.

"MYYYY HEERRRROOOO!" Lovebug Media is the real deal! This team is so professional, they make Martin Scorsese look like an amateur. And Alan Larsen? He definitely has an eye for cinematography like a hawk has an eye for a mouse. They've got a drone that captures the whole event, and most of the time, I didn't even notice they were around. These guys are like video production ninjas - but instead of throwing smoke bombs and disappearing, they just capture every beautiful moment of your big day.

Keep the tissues coming whenever you watch their videos, because the videos they create are so beautifully crafted to capture emotion of the day. But hey, at least we can blame the tears on the onions we're chopping, right? As for the videos they produce, they created a short 1-min Instagram reel, an 8-min highlight video of the whole day and an entire uncut version of the ceremony.

All in all, Lovebug Media is the perfect team for capturing your special day. They're so excited to create your video that they practically run to their editing room. Erika is like the conductor of an orchestra, making sure everything is in perfect harmony. So if you want a video that will make you laugh, cry, and feel like the star of your own rom-com, Lovebug Media is the way to go.

We love our highlight video!

Lovebug created a highlight video of our wedding that absolutely blew us away. Our family and friends have only said positive things about the amazing production quality of the highlight video, and we've rewatched it at least ten times. We still cannot get over how good the footage looked, how perfectly the soundtrack captured the emotions of the day, and how captivating the video transitions were from start to finish.

We're super happy with the stunning highlight video that we got, and Alan + his team team were very easy to work with both during the prep calls leading up to the big day and also the big day itself. We would definitely recommend Lovebug to our family and friends, and if we had to redo our wedding, we would absolutely choose to work with Alan and his team again!

Very happy couple (groom a wedding video editor himself) highly suggests this company

My wife and I booked this company back before quarantine and were lucky enough to keep them and their flexible crew for our new wedding date. I was an editor and project manager for another wedding company for years, and have grown up in the wedding industry, so not only is this coming from a place of a satisified customer but a professional speaking about other professionals: Lovebug is incredible.

Their open communication, their on-site demeanor, the level of coverage they get on the day of, the preparation and coordination with our other vendors leading up and on the day of the wedding, and how they were supportive and professional with our guests and bridal party during the whole event - and this is all before getting to their editing. The video just transports us back to the day of, which is EXACTLY what you want from a wedding video. The style of video cutting combined with excellent shot choice and musical choice is top-notch. Not only that, the speed in which they returned a draft and then further responded to our notes (of which we had a small amount, the first draft was just that good) was incredible.

I already have been to my friends getting married this and next year, but to all those out there - Lovebug is a wonderful pick for your wedding day. We adored them.

Best videographer around!

My husband didn't understand why I wanted a videographer at first, but once we got back our highlight video from Lovebug Media we both knew we made the right choice. The first time we watched the video, it brought both of us to tears. It was so well put together and took us back to our wedding day. The videos captured us perfectly as a couple and the day as a whole. Erika, Marco and Alan all worked so hard to make sure the day went smoothly and that they were there to capture all the events going on. We had so many different things I wanted to have captured, as well as a few surprises, like a fake first look with the best man in a wedding dress and a belly dancer during our reception that they helped me plan into the schedule and kept it a secret from my husband. I can't say enough good things about them! If I ever have another big life event, I will be hiring them in a heartbeat. They are simply the best!

Lovebug Media is THEE ABSOLUTE BEST!!! It's a coincidence that mine and my husband's nicknames are the lovebugs. And no, we didn't choose them for their name; we chose them for their quality and production. After researching different videographers and watching many wedding videos, we chose Lovebug Media for its style of work. Alan and his dream team truly have an eye for capturing memories and putting them together in an amazing video! Erika was so nice and easy to work with from the beginning to the end. She was very responsive and made our decision very easy.

On the day of our wedding, Alan and Andy were so seamless during their filming. They both tag-teamed and made sure to capture all the special moments, the little details, and any surprises thrown their way. As a bride, there are so many things going on the day of, the videos are one less thing to worry about when you go with Lovebug Media; THEY GOT YOU COVERED! Trust me!

Perfect from start to finish

My husband and I are so pleased with everything that Alan and his team did for us. Planning a wedding during a pandemic is not easy, but thankfully everything went seamless with Lovebug Media. Work with lovebug media

We can't stop raving about Alan Larsen & his team at Lovebug Media! They were our favorite vendors of our wedding and we were so blessed to have worked with them! Alan and his team are organized, efficient and put us at ease. I loved Alan's positive and down to earth energy. He is a true artist and truly captured our day and our story very intuitively. Initially, we interviewed a good number of videographers and were concerned that we had too many people at our wedding (close to 500 total) to have a videographer capture everything we were hoping for. Alan brought on a few members to make our day truly special and capture every moment beautifully. His assistant Erika & Jess were so kind, helpful and organized on the backend and on the day of as well. My favorite thing about Alan is he knew what to capture and how to capture it without too much guidance or concern from him. We trusted him and he definitely came through and I could not be happier that we chose him to be our videographer. Additionally, they finished working on the highlight videos so quickly they were in our inbox before we came back from our honeymoon without compromising the quality or integrity of the videos at all! I even asked for a few minor changes with music and to add a few moments in the highlight and they did it quickly and easily without any hesitation. Definitely use them - can't get a better videographer!

We were thrilled with our experience with Lovebug Media (formerly Alan Larsen Films). Alan and his team did a fantastic job filming our wedding. They made an unforgettable video that we have been enjoying showing off, and our parents watch our highlight video almost daily. The edited video was ready quicker than we expected, and we could not have been happier with it. From the start to finish they were easy to work with, and they were very receptive to the edits we wanted. It seemed like they really wanted to make us happy and capture our key moments. After looking at a number of possible videographers we found Lovebug through a family member who used them. It was an easy decision to choose them, and I would recommend Lovebug Media to anyone without hesitation.

AMAZING JOB!!!!!! Coeur D' Alene Wedding

Alan and his team could not have done any better. They captured everything we wanted and this video will be something we will have forever. Im so glad we didnt cut corners and got a true professional with Alan. Perfectly customized, and speedy!!

We are absolutely delighted with our wedding video from Alan Larsen Films. Alan met us for the first time via video chat (we had a destination wedding) just a few days before our wedding. Somehow, he figured out everything he needed to know about us to make a perfectly customized video.

That's why we picked Alan Larsen Films. I could tell from his portfolio online how much he customized the videos; watching through them, you really get the vibe of all of the different couples whose stories he has captured.

Alan and Nick were so fun to hang out with day of, and we got our video back IN A WEEK. It's amazing. I've seriously watched it probably 50 times since then.

Relive your wedding with the best video ever!

Alan Larsen Films was one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding. We had a videographer flake 2 weeks before the wedding so our wedding coordinator HIGHLY recommended Alan Larsen. We were lucky enough to find out they were available for our day (meant to be). The process leading up to the big day was easy and stress-free. They respond within hours and are happy to address any questions.

The day of was flawless. Our wedding party keeps talking about how awesome the crew is! They made everything fun and really felt like part of our wedding! Alan captured the energy of our wedding perfectly and even recommended music he felt went with our video!

Oh and we received our video within a week and got to watch it while on our honeymoon!! Like I said, one of the best decisions we made was to use Alan Larsen Films as our videographer!

Simply the best!

Where do I start???? ALF did NOT disappoint!! From our very first email, Jess was super friendly and so helpful. She answered all my questions courteously and professionally. Fast forward to our meeting with Alan and Jess a few weeks before our wedding. They made us feel really comfortable and were really helpful.

On our wedding day Alan and his team arrived on time. They were like ninjas we didn't notice they were there. As bride, I really appreciate how they didn't place any extra stress or burden on us.

We received our videos at lightening speed!! We absolutely love our highlight and ceremony videos. They're done so creatively and everything flows really well. We are really happy we chose Alan Larsen Films to capture the most important day of our lives. Book them!! Thank you so much

The best ever

We heard about Alan Larsen by chance at a party in the midst of planning our wedding and we are so lucky that we did! Before the wedding they made everything so easy and were so professional. But the personal touch on the wedding day is what really made the difference. Their team made everyone feel comfortable - so they were able to really capture what my husband and I are like, rather than some stiff version of ourselves as we usually are on camera. Every moment was effortless and fun. I never had to stress about them for a second. And all this was before we received our PERFECT wedding video. We can't stop watching it! We can't give Alan Larsen Films enough credit and praise, their work speaks for itself. Alan Larsen Films is not your average videographer -- what they do is a craft, and it's evident when you watch any of their videos. They are definitely worth every penny because they will deliver above and beyond your expectations. The entire team is amazing to work with and they do not disappoint. Their turnaround time is super impressive, as we got our save the date trailer back within 1-2 days of the shoot, and we got our wedding highlight video, ceremony and raw footage back within 3 weeks!

The ALF team remained professional and responsive throughout the entire process and their expertise and polish shined through in their videos. We absolutely LOVE their cinematic approach, skillful editing, and the final end-result was such high-quality work, it turned out better than we could've envisioned. What we got was a movie-quality production that was reminiscent of the love, excitement, and fun from our day. We're so happy to have a forever keepsake from our wedding day -- trust us, you'll want to watch it again and again.

Weddings go by in a blink of an eye, and to be able to relive one of the best days of your lives is truly priceless. Super responsive, very professional, great to work with, and topnotch videos. Alan and his team blew away all of our expectations! We were hesitant about getting a videographer at first, but after going through the day with Alan and Drew, and seeing our highlight reel, we're so glad that we went with Alan Larsen films specifically. They really captured all of the emotions and happiness we felt throughout the day and made it feel special and unique to us. We loved how well they worked with our photographer during the shoots.

They completed our highlight reel 4 days after the wedding. 4 DAYS! We expected it weeks later and were shocked by how great the video was after such a short amount of time. The quality of the video was crystal clear and the sound was AMAZING! There was a bunch of brats on a playground screaming during our ceremony and even a helicopter flew overhead but they were able to edit out all of it and none of it could be heard. If you go with Alan Larsen Films then you won't be disappointed.

There should be an option for 10 stars for Alan Larsen. When we started wedding planning, my husband and I were very hesitant to get a videographer for our wedding. We didn't think we needed it. After talking to a few friends, and Drew from Alan Larsen, we decided to go for it. (After all, you spend SO much time, money energy planning, a video is the best way to capture it all and be able to look back and reminisce!) Three days after our wedding, we got an email with our fully edited video back (ONLY THREE DAYS?!?!) I was absolutely shocked by their turnaround time and even more surprised at the quality of the video. I have never cried so much in one day. When I posted our video we started getting texts, calls, etc from our friends and family who were RAVING about how amazing the video was! He perfectly captured our day better than we could have ever imagined. Got all of the important moments, people, the laughing, the crying. EVERYTHING! Even the song he chose for our video is now one of our FAVORITE songs (though we had never heard of it until Alan!) We are so grateful for Alan Larsen Films! Just watch his videos; they speak for themselves!

Our photographer recommended Alan Larsen to us and we couldn't have been happier! They did and absolutely amazing job at capturing all of the touching, funny, and heart-warming moments over our entire wedding weekend. Then they stitched it all together into a perfect 10 minute video that we have watched over and over again. Alan and his very professional team were so easy to work with and really understood artistically what we wanted from the video. His shots were so bright and vivid and he weaved all of the speeches and the ceremony together to capture the real essence of our day--the laughter the tears, everything. If capturing the spirit of your special day matters to you, Alan is your guy. Trust me, he's worth it.

Our experience could not have been better. I apologize that this review is long overdue. It wasn't difficult for me to decide on Alan Larsen Films for our wedding videographer for 9.4.16. Two of my best friends had ALF film their weddings and I trust them 100%. ALF did not disappoint! Drew Wyman was our person of contact throughout the entire process. He was very professional, prompt and thorough. He set us up on video conference prior to our big day to speak with Alan, Katrina and himself to iron out the details. It went smoothly, and I love that everyone was professional, but also very flexible and understanding. We provided little direction with just the note that my husband (fiance, at the time) were very easy-going and flexible people. On our wedding day, Katrina and Lanly arrived on time and did their thing. They were accommodating, friendly and just very easy to work with. What I remember most was how stealth they were throughout the ceremony and reception. What Alan Larsen Films produced was beyond our expectations! We love the highlight video and have watched it over two dozen times! The whole saying, "you get what you pay for" really applies. Pricing may have been out of our budget, but if you're asking professionals to capture your big day, you need to pay more for quality work and ALF definitely delivered. ALF requested our song list and incorporated the songs with the speeches to make our video flow and transition nicely. We look forward to sharing our wedding memories with our future children and grandchildren, a memory that can be relived each time we watch our video. Alan and his team were really exceptional to work with. I was in touch with Drew frequently before the wedding, and as I'm not too tech savvy, he was always there to help. The day of the wedding, I didn't even realize that Alan and his team were there, but the footage that they captured really brought the essence of our day to life, especially as we saw it in our eyes. Our highlight video is perfect - even my husband is showing it to everyone he meets. They are incredibly professional and easy-going, which is always an amazing quality during the inevitable stress of a wedding day.

I hunted for my wedding videographer... I hunted through many, many, MANY videos of people who got married that I didn't know. I went through so many videos, I went from "awww they're so adorable" to "OMG WHY ARE THE SAME 3 SONGS IN EVERY VIDEO?! I JUST DON'T CARE ANYMORE!" I went through good videographers that charge WAY too much money, and bad videographers who still charge way too much money... I went through arrogant videographers who didn't want to speak to me, to forgetful (possibly newer) videographers...

And then there was Alan Larsen Films... Alan and his team are AMAZING. Seriously. I didn't even know they were there most of the time, and when they were there, they were hilariously funny and knew exactly what to do to distract me from the camera lens in my face. They were responsive when I emailed them with questions and great at giving gentle reminders when I had 309475938 things on my mind and forgot about something for them. And their videos... they're incredible. OH, AND HE GOT ALL OF OUR VIDEOS BACK TO US 3 WEEKS AFTER THE WEDDING. Frigging incredible.

Well worth the money.

Trust me. Trust me trust me trust me. Alan Larsen Films was the best choice. I know. I probably watched 400 wedding videos to get to Alan Larsen.

If you need a videographer for your wedding or any special event Alan Larsen Films is the way to go. My husband and I were originally not going to have a videographer for our wedding because we didn't want anyone in our faces as we were trying to enjoy our wedding day. We are used to going to weddings and seeing annoying vidographers but Alan and his crew are absolutely amazing and are the complete opposite. They are like flies on a wall and are so polite and kind.

Everyone was telling us that we were going to regret not getting a videographer so we changed our minds last minute and we are so glad we did. Our wedding planner recommended Alan Larsen Films and we booked them a few days before the wedding. Because we were pressed for time we did a quick video chat and Alan and Drew got to know us and what we wanted before the wedding.

On the day of the wedding, Alan and Andrew were so accommodating. We had a hotel suite full of girls getting ready and they were completely out of the way and knew what to do and when to do it. They also worked really well with our photographer and followed them closely to get all the footage for the highlight video. They did such a phenomenal job capturing important moments for us and we were so happy to be able to re-live them again.

Also really important their work turn around is super fast. We got married in the middle of October and got our highlight video exactly 1 month after and we were able to make changes after seeing our video to get exactly what we wanted.

We have already shown the video to a few friends and family and they are just amazed on how beautiful it is and the quality of the work. I am a huge Disney fan and all my friends thought the highlight video had the Disney charm and reminded them of a sweet Disney movie.

We are so thankful to have had the chance to work with such great people and we are very happy with how the highlight video turned out. They are truly the best!

We almost decided to just get the raw footage, but I am SO glad that we did the highlight too. Alan and Drew were so nice and answered all of my questions promptly and professionally. Alan and Drew were a pleasure to work with. Their team is so professional and easy going. They made the whole process from planning to the day of our wedding seamless. We had a big Indian wedding, and they captured the memories for our pre-wedding event, as well as our wedding ceremony and reception. Alan and his team were very accommodating for the edits that we had of our video. We made a few special requests, and they were able to make them happen. They made sure that we were happy with the final product, and went above and beyond to do so. Our highlights video is so well made and very creative. We wanted to thank them for making our wedding even more special by capturing all of the beautiful memories, and making them last forever.

The first time I saw some of the Alan Larsen Films online, I was blown away. The video that his team did for our wedding was just as spectacular as the ones I'd seen, and I'm so glad we found out about them! Alan Larsen and his team were truly amazing. They were so great to work with prior to the wedding, on the wedding day, and after the wedding. After my wedding, I would think about all of the good times and memories that were made. It was not until I got my video from Alan Larsen that I really felt like I got to relive the moment. I watched the video at least 3 times immediately after I received it. He allowed me to pick my own music for the video. He captured every moment of the day including the bride and broom getting ready with the wedding party. I felt very comfortable with him and his team which is what made this a truly beautiful video. All of the wedding party loved his and team. There were beautiful shots of the ceremony and the venue as well. When I showed my father, it brought to tears to his eyes again. I will continue to use Alan Larsen Films for any future events. I cannot explain how beautiful his work is. I urge anyone who is looking to have videographer that captures their special day to use Alan Larsen.

I had found Alan through one of the wedding websites and wanted to meet him before asking him to be our photographer. As soon as we met Alan and his team, we knew they were the ones for us! Alan and his crew are professional, fun, easy going, and hard working. Leah is on top of it her game! Alan and his team are super organized, I mean everything from drafting our contract to providing us with all the details we needed to have for the big day. We had a destination wedding in Hawaii and Alan was able to capture the beauty of Hawaii along with our wedding in such a beautiful way. The wedding highlight seemed like a real movie preview! Alan came prepared the day before our wedding to scope out the venue and the surrounding areas, we had meetings prior to Hawaii to ensure everything is covered, and continuous emails that were promptly responded. Alan was definitely a diamond in a rough and we are so thankful to have had him as our videographer.

There aren't enough amazing things I can say about Alan Larsen and his team. I was searching for a videographer a few months before our wedding and like any couple, my husband and I wanted to stay within our budget without compromising quality. I came across Alan Larsen Films on Yelp and immediately noticed their glowing reviews. I watched a few of their videos, reached out via email, and was able to book them for our big day.

A few weeks before our wedding, we had a Skype meeting with him and Leah (their production coordinator), laid out our schedule and bounced around some video ideas as well. It was a great way to meet them face-to-face and to also get a sense of what to expect for our video.

On our wedding day, Alan and his second shooter, Andrew, arrived promptly and got to work right away. The day-of can be very chaotic, but they captured our wedding like ninjas! Seriously -- they blended into the background and just worked their magic. We received our highlight video yesterday and we are absolutely blown away. We've watched it over and over and honestly, we couldn't have asked for a better way to capture the best day of our lives. The way he weaves the music with the wedding highlights is truly phenomenal. We are over the moon with our decision to go with Alan and his team.

Worth EVERY penny! We can't wait to relive our wedding day through our beautifully crafted video. I highly recommend choosing Alan Larsen Films to capture your wedding day. You will not be disappointed!

Alan and his assistant was very prompt and professional. Everyone loved his work. It's been over 2 months now and my mom still watches it daily. I can't express how pleased I am with his work and service. His recording is very steady, sharp, and clear. I requested to make a few adjustments to the highlights and within hours it was completed. I highly recommend Alan Larsen Films. If I could redo this day over again, I would hire him in a heart beat.

We feel so fortunate to have found Alan Larsen Films. Katrina and Alan were our videographers and they truly did an amazing job! We loved every minute of our wedding video, so much that we've lost count of how many times we've watched it. They captured many wonderful memories and we're grateful that we'll now get to relive all of them through the beautiful film they created.

We also received excellent service along the way. Leah, their Production Coordinator, was an absolute pleasure. She answered all of our questions in a timely manner, was extremely nice, thorough, and professional!

My hubby and I made the wonderful choice of picking Alan for our wedding videography. We couldn't be happier with our choice. Alan and his team were very professional and helpful from our first meeting through the delivery of our videos. During our wedding day Alan was wonderful. He captured all of our beautiful moments and we're so excited that we'll be able to see these again for years to come. If there is one thing I'd recommend for a wedding, it's a videographer. Our wedding day flew by, and our video allowed us to go back, re-live it and see things we missed on our day. One of the best decisions we made was hiring Alan's services!!!

As many of the other reviews have said, Alan and his team are fantastic. I did a ton of research online, watched a zillion videos, and couldn’t find anything I liked that wasn’t cheesy or choppy. I finally asked my photographer Laurie Bailey for a recommendation and because the videographer and photographer work so closely together, this was key! After looking through the couple of recommendations she gave, it was clear that Alan puts together the perfect blend of an elegant video, beautiful storytelling, and a peek into what a fun day it is. We were not disappointed. We received our highlight and ceremony videos in super speedy time and even though I gave him a bunch of nitpicky comments on the highlight video, he was able to accommodate all of them and send us edits very quickly. The best part is we also get to have the ceremony edit and raw footage to watch whenever we want. Alan and his second videographer Katrina were a pleasure to work with on the day. His assistant Leah was very helpful as we hired them, worked through the details and through delivery. All in all, we loved working with this team! Everyone we sent the wedding highlight video to said it was the best wedding video they have ever seen.

The service was amazing: complete with 2 professional cinematographers, an awesome coordinator, and an out of this world editor with a highlight reel that blew us away. It's as if Alan and his team made our wedding into a big budget movie; that we can enjoy for years to come. Leah, Alan's assistant, helped to plan and organize the process step by step, putting us at complete ease throughout the wedding. The cinematographers, Katrina and Andrew caught every magic moment, and Alan who lead this team made a work of art out of our very special day. The moment someone says they plan on having a wedding and NOT utilizing a videographer is the moment I sit them down and show them our wedding video. Photos are great, but these guys are here to capture the life of your wedding, so you can hold onto that moment forever, and pass it on to your children. Alan and his team were fantastic. We are very happy with the 10-minute highlight video and ceremony video that they created. On the day of the wedding, they managed to get wonderful shots and we barely knew they were there. Before and after the wedding, they were super responsive on email and phone and had great attitudes. We were not as responsive and are glad that they can't review us. Fortunately, Leah and Alan were super patient and did everything in their power to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. At the end of the day, we got what we wanted - great videos and videographers who were stealthy on the day of the wedding - at what we thought was a very fair price.

Alan Larsen, and his coordinator Leah, are a wonderful team. Leah was quick to respond to my original email and stayed in correspondence with me all the while patiently answering all my random questions. Once I decided to meet with them with my then fiance, they were very down to earth and made us feel very comfortable. Alan is a very chill guy who definitely knows his stuff. We hired them and were excited for the wedding day.

On our wedding day, Alan and his assistant (I forget her name but she was so sweet!) arrived on time and began work right away. While I was getting my hair and makeup done, Alan even shoo-ed away solicitors who came into my room! He wasn't just there to film the day, he was there to make sure the bride (me) was taken care of too. Definitely a nice feeling when you know your videographer has your back!!

Once the wedding was over, Leah stayed in contact with us giving up updates about our ceremony video and highlight video. We got the ceremony video first, then about a week later got our highlight video. Later on we got all the raw footage in the mail on the external hard drive we provided. The videos were absolutely amazing - everyone we showed it too said how awesome they were. Alan has a great eye and knows how to perfectly capture moments on camera.

I highly recommend Alan Larsen films for your wedding day! The only con I have to mention is that my then fiance and I had to meet Alan and Leah at Alan's home/office in the Hollywood area. It was quite a drive for us (we live in Westchester), and would have preferred to have met at our venue or somewhere in the middle to make it more convenient for us. But he more than made up for that with the videos he created.

My amazing wedding planner recommended that I use Alan Larsen Films to be my videographer for my wedding. I had looked into several different options beforehand but after looking through all of Alan Larsen Films different options and all of the videos that they had done for other weddings, I decided that I loved Alan Larsen Films. They were one of the best decisions that I made for my wedding day. They captured so many beautiful memories that I wasn't even able to see firsthand and also memories that I could re-watch over and over again. They never got in the way and went around the entire wedding almost unnoticed, but when I watch back all of my wedding footage it is amazing how many amazing moments and memories they were able to capture. I would highly recommend using Alan Larsen Films for any upcoming event that you have. You definitely will not be disappointed!

Alan Larsen Films. WOW... I don't even know where to start. What sold me on ALF was that ALL their films they had posted on their page were absolutely beautiful. I cannot even begin to say how wonderful Alan and his team are. They provided spectacular service from leading up to the wedding itself, to the on-site service, to the follow-up.

Leah, his assistant was in touch with us about every little detail. Although we live in LA, our wedding was a destination wedding in Maine, and Alan and Katrina traveled from LA to Kennebunkport Maine to capture our wedding. The B-Roll was to die for. It truly captured the essence of the small, nautical town that we were married in.

They put together the most jaw-dropping highlight real, and ceremony coverage.

Better yet, we got to keep all their raw footage, so we can watch it in years to come, all the speeches, toasts, special moments, moments we may have missed, etc.

Alan and his team have provided us with something we will treasure for so many years to come. Hiring them was without a doubt the best decision we made in our wedding.

Cinematography was at the top of our list, and leading up to our wedding, we spent about an hour every night for about 2 months reviewing cinematographers in and out of our state. I had come across Alan’s work and was SHOCKED when a video of complete strangers had me in tears within minutes. His ability to capture a love story in such a brilliant, artistic, and creative way put an end to our crazy internet search and solidified that he was the ONE we wanted to share our special day with.

About 6 weeks to my wedding date, I had an opportunity to sit down with Alan, and it was incredible how comfortable he made me feel. He was beyond helpful and provided me with recommendations on lighting, ceremony positioning and much more. On the day of our wedding, Alan and his assistant Chelsea felt like a part of the family. They were so fun, kind, and respectful—all qualities we love!

We received our film while on our honeymoon, and we were blown away by the quality and detail that he put into it. We received so many messages and phone calls from vendors, families, and friends raving about how beautifully done the video was. I could go on and on listing off all the reasons why you should hire Alan Larsen for your big day, but the product speaks for itself. You need to check out his website and enjoy all of his amazing films; I am confident that you will be impressed.

If you’re on the fence about getting a cinematographer, I recommend that you go for it. It’s one of the only things at your wedding that you will be able to cherish forever. We cannot recommend Alan Larsen Films enough. Alan and his team are creative, professional and flexible. It is absolutely evident that they want to create the best film possible. The way they are able to incorporate music and loved ones speeches is unlike any other vendor we researched and we feel that they are truly the best at capturing each wedding and it= unique beauty.

Leah was wonderful to work with. I spoke with her on the phone a couple of times, corresponded via email and met with her and Alan in person. Each time she was kind and willing to answer any question I had. She was so easy to work with and made me feel like I was her friend through the process. She is quick to get back to you and gives you exactly what you need.

On the day of the wedding Alan and Katrina were THE BEST. They arrived early and stayed till the very end. They are flexible and kept us both at ease while getting ready for the day. They will laugh with you and they really want to capture YOUR day and want to give a sincere portrayal of it. They are so easy going and work with great enthusiasm. They allow you to be authentic and I was so comfortable having them with me on one of the most important days of my life. On our honeymoon my husband and I were talking about how we want to hang out with Alan and his team because they were just awesome people.

We got our ceremony video while on our honeymoon. (Less then 2 weeks after our wedding!!!) We feel that the team captured it perfectly, better then we could have even imagined!! We absolutely cannot wait to see our highlight video!

My fiance and I ranked our priorities for the wedding and videography was at the top of the list. We looked for months for the perfect videographer that we believed could tell our story in a beautiful and unique way. Wow. Alan and Leah were everything we could have asked for. From our first meeting with them to the wedding day they were professional, fun and ended up feeling like friends at our wedding. We loved having them capture our beach barbecue with our close family and friends on Friday night, as well as the whole wedding day on Sunday.

We got an email from Leah during our honeymoon and immediately stopped what we were doing to watch it. I cried the first time I saw it as I remembered the memories of the day, and even the details I missed. We've watched it countless times, every day since then. We love showing it to our family and friends, especially those who weren't able to make it. This video is something we'll have forever, and we're so thankful to Alan and Leah for helping make that happen!

I don't know where to begin with talking about how amazing Alan Larsen is, both in his quality of work and in his professionalism. He is the best! We met with 6 videographers and chose Alan because we loved the "film" feel of his videos. His sample videos were so well produced and we could only hope that ours could be half as good. Our wedding video is a masterpiece. We were amazed about how he really captured the feeling of the day. The video is incredibly moving, and its large in part from his teams ability to capture artistic shots and weave them together with suberb editing. He is also a pleasure to work with. He is very responsive, friendly and easy going. If you looking for a wedding videographer/film maker, I highly recommend Alan. This is an investment that you do not want to skimp on. Last year, I found myself scouring the internet researching different works of videographers trying to figure out how this all worked and feeling pretty overwhelmed by the endless choices.

I stumbled across Style Me Pretty and saw a beautiful wedding and decided to watch the attached video by Alan Larsen Films.

I didn't know this couple at all but by the end of it I was in tears and I remembered feeling genuine happiness for them. Alan has a great eye for capturing seemingly minor and potentially forgetful moments in time and forever immortalizing its beauty on film. He composes moments together into an intimate narrative that inevitably draws viewers in and welcomes you into the story.

This is what I wanted for my wedding. Alan and his team were a pleasure to work with. Everyone was very professional, easy to talk to and had a good sense of humor. Questions were always answered promptly and yes, from prior reviews I definitely agree with the fact that Alan and his team has EXCELLENT audio which I think does make a difference.

I may be biased but I thought our wedding video was stunning. One of my favorite parts was how Alan interweaved my father's heartfelt toast to our expressions as my father walked me down the aisle. My father was a navy refugee who came to America after Saigon fell and worked hard to provide for my younger brother and me as a single parent. Needless to say, my wedding day was a very special and proud day for my father. Alan (who didn't know any of this background history) was able to not only capture these moments beautifully but integrated it in such a way that exponentially conveyed how emotional and momentous this occasion was thereby augmenting our wedding love story.

I'm sure there are many videographers out there who can film weddings and make things look pretty but I think Alan is more of an artist who can tell a story that allows people, even strangers, to connect on a deeper level.

We got married in August 2013 and are very thankful that we chose Alan Larsen to document our most special day together!

My husband and I researched many videographers. They were all similar, followed the same format, and oftentimes were quite pricey for their quality of work. When we first saw Alan’s samples, we were blown away! He clearly stood out from the rest and displayed creative talent. All of the key parts of the wedding were covered and the Highlight film presented the event as a wonderful story. Alan was also the only one who added effects like alternating multiple frames that included different portions of the day, slow motion, and fast forwarding while the primary focal points stayed still. If only I knew the video jargon to describe them better. The editing was fantastic! There were times that we could not even tell that portions of the speeches were woven together.

We chose Option 3, which was perfect for us since he was there for the entire day. Some vendors do not even offer enough time to cover the entire day with their base rate and then will start charging you premium dollars once you go over. And some would not even give you the raw footage, in case you “misused” their work with their good name attached. You would think that when you pay them for capturing the day on video…all of the video would be given to you after the wedding. Alan was nothing like those other vendors and we are very lucky to have made the right choice by going with him.

Alan was one of the quickest to respond to our questions and concerns, unlike many other vendors. You do not want to be left hanging while the days are counting down and the stress is building up. We truly appreciated his professionalism and for how comfortable he made us feel during the wedding!

Bottom line: We highly recommend Alan Larsen to be your videographer! He gave us a gift that will memorialize the biggest day of our lives!

When we first started planning our wedding, I was on the fence about whether I even wanted to hire a videographer, but my husband really wanted video of the ceremony to show to our future kids so we started looking into videographers via wedding blogs and bridal shows. But we were underwhelmed by their videos.

Considering that we live in Southern California, movie capital of the world, you'd think there would be more high-end wedding videographers available. There are lots of good shooters out there, but surprisingly the end result was a mediocre-looking, disjointed video that sounded awful. It turns out audio accounts for about 50% of your viewing enjoyment and nothing ruins a stroll down memory lane like crappy audio. So we started asking ourselves why we should pay money for a crappy video when we could get an only slightly worse end product by asking a friend to just hold a camera during the ceremony.

Then we found Alan and hiring him was the best decision ever. Not only did he shoot great video and capture all the important moments from our wedding, but he really cared about making our video sound great. The finished product is amazing. It looks and sounds awesome and it beautifully tells the story of our day. On top of that, Alan is professional, punctual, and easy going. If you're on the fence about hiring a videographer for your wedding, you won't be after watching one of the videos on Alan's website. The quality of his work is truly leagues beyond other wedding videographers and his priced are competitive. We absolutely love our wedding videos and our families do too.

Look no further, you have found the best videographer! From the start, Alan was very prompt in responding to emails and was accommodating with the first meeting (I wasn't comfortable meeting at his studio so we tried Skype, but it was too slow so we ended up talking over the phone). We booked him for two days in a row (we had a Christian wedding and a Hindu wedding). You spend all day with your photographer and videographer, you should pick someone you don't mind hanging out with all day! Alan and his team were a lot of fun to be around all day. Our photographer for the Hindu wedding enjoyed working with him and his team as well. Just take a look at his website videos and you will definitely not be disappointed! His prices were very reasonable to for the quality of work he provided. Another great thing was that the team was there from the start to the end of the weddings and we had four locations for the first day and four locations for the second day. I can't say enough great things about Alan and his team; I definitely will be booking them in the future for our vow renewal!

Alan and his team are amazing!! The highlight video was perfect. Watching the highlight video brought back so many wonderful memories of our day. He captured our day better then what we expected. My eyes gets water up every time I watch the video. The detail and quality of the video were unlike any we had seen in other vendors. Alan is an awesome guy and fun to work with. I would recommend Alan to future brides!

Alan and his team were exceptional in every way. After looking for a videographer for over 5 months, I was starting to loose hope, until I came across Alan on Yelp! After I saw a few sample videos and met with Alan, we knew he was the one for us. Alan is extremely gifted in what he does. He is also very pleasant to work with. He is kind, patient, fun, honest, and creative. He made our day stress free and memorable.

We wanted a videographer who can tell our entire story within minutes by capturing all the emotions and details that went into our wedding. He went above and beyond to create a master piece that we can cherish for a lifetime.

He had great equipments to captured all the sounds clearly, was prompt & ready, had great lighting, was reasonable with the pricing, his style is unique, and we felt so comfortable to share intimate moments because the cameras were behind the scene. He helped me do the voice over, answered all of my 100+ questions, and gave our videos (including raw footages) within a month! On our wedding day, it showered a little, but he and his crew worked very hard to make us feel comfortable and capture everything that went on.

He was one of our top favorite vendors to work with. We feel extremely blessed that Alan did our wedding. There is no one like Alan out there. I researched over 36 videographers (day and night) and was not happy until I met Alan! I wouldn't waste time going anywhere else. His prices are reasonable and truly wroth every penny we spent on him. Thank you so much Alan, we love you!

When we were planning our wedding and looking at sample wedding videos, Alan Larsen's films stood out because his videos aren't just a chronological assembly of the day's events. He weaves a beautiful story with his films. For his beautiful work, Alan charges a pretty penny, but it’s a fair price—and it’s worth it.

We had a modest budget, so we made a commitment that the majority should go towards things that will really matter in the long run. We decided it was absolutely worth it to pay for Alan to film our wedding. A wedding video is special because you will have it forever and can watch and re-watch it on every anniversary, one day with your kids, and many times in between. You'll watch your wedding video and see a moment you missed in the chaos of the day, or see a tender moment with a loved one who might no longer be here with you, and you'll cherish it.

Alan is also a consummate professional. Leading up to the wedding, he was extremely easy to work with, and very responsive. On the day of, he was always a step ahead, and where he needed to be. He does an amazing job of getting the shots he needs during those big moments, and he's never in the way. Since he uses small cameras, he's not distracting for the guests.

We really recommend splurging for one of the packages with a longer wedding highlight film! Those extra minutes make a huge difference. The more expensive packages also include a second cinematographer, which will get you more material and easier logistics. (Our second cinematographer, Nick, was also a pleasure to work with.) His shorter films are still great, but the longer format really gives him the opportunity to do what he does best: scour hours of video and hundreds of clips and assemble a seamless film that tells the story of the couple and everything that happened that day.

We absolutely love our wedding video, and highly recommend Alan Larsen Films.

Alan was our wedding videographer and we could not be happier with our choice. He captured all the most amazing moments from start to finish and put them in a highlight video that we will be able to treasure forever. In our initial meeting with Alan, we told him we wanted someone to capture the joy of our big day without us feeling like someone was taping us, and that is exactly what he did. We didn't even realize he was there but somehow managed to get fantastic footage of all the big and little moments. We chose to have a ceremony and highlight video and both turned out absolutely perfect. Alan was incredibly helpful and kind and gave us song suggestions for the films that worked perfect to capture the feeling of our day. He got our videos to us even quicker the I thought possible. He was wonderful to work with and we couldn't be happier with the results. I highly recommend him for wedding videography. I cant stop watching our video! It brings me to tears every time. Alan Larsen Films is by far the absolute best decision we made during our wedding process. We always knew that we wanted a professional looking video, but what we received was a work of art to say the least. We were blown away with the amount of footage that Alan and his crew were able to capture, and the way in which it was presented was absolutely incredible.

His professionalism is second to none, but more importantly, he makes you feel relaxed and very special on your most important day. He was very responsive to ideas that we had, but also provided insight into aspects that we never even thought of.

After we received our first edit of the wedding film, which also happened to be less than a week after our ceremony, my wife and I sat on the couch, tears flowing. We were so touched not only with the emotion from the video but with the overall feel of the day. It was like our own little movie...nothing could have been more perfect.

AN ABSOLUTE MUST-BOOK when it comes to your wedding planning. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Alan and company. You did the most amazing job that we could have ever envisioned.

Alan and his team are aaaamazaing. It's an absoulute MUST that you hire a videographer for your wedding. Trust me. The day goes by so fast and it's a little sad when it's over, but getting to watch your wedding day is priceless. Our friends and family loved our video and so did we!

Let me say first off that Alan is a really friendly guy, he listened to what we wanted and was always available when I had questions. And let me tell you, I was FLOORED when I saw our video! He posted it online and it was the most professional wedding video I'd seen, and trust me I've seen my fair share! I had so many comments from friends and family it was amazing! We had a bicultural wedding and Alan was able to balance it beautifully and really showcase all our friends and family coming together along with our love of music. Thanks Alan, you're the best!!

Wow. What can I say. Alan's work is amazing. Everyone is so impressed, even with just our wedding highlights video. We booked Alan VERY VERY last minute... as in, basically the same week we were getting married! We had exactly a year to plan, and a videographer was one of the first things we looked into, but with prices and everything else that goes on with a wedding, we let that aspect of the wedding fall to the wayside. Finally, with one week to go and a few people close to us really pushing us to again consider a videographer, I frantically looked around and am SO thankful I found Alan. It is so nice to get to see my (now) hubby getting ready for our big day and how he was feeling, and many other things we did not get to see that day. I highly recommend Alan and also getting a highlights video. His work is so great that one of my bridesmaids (who got married shortly after us and was also on the fence about getting a videographer) booked him too. My hubby and I will cherish our wedding video forever and I am so glad I got some sense knocked into me about hiring a videographer! His turnaround time is awesome too. :)

Really, there aren't enough stars to express how much my husband and I love our wedding film and loved working with Alan. He is incredibly talented, congenial, professional, and fun. My husband and I were in absolute awe over the wedding video that Alan made for us. It was almost like our own movie about our love story. He went above and beyond to capture each aspect and detail of the wedding! Everyone who I have shown it to has said that they have never seen anything like it and that they have to forward it to a friend to see it too. This is definitely something that I will cherish for the rest of my life and be proud to show my kids someday, it was SOOOO beautiful!!! Alan and Ian are brilliant cinematographers and are true professionals from a business as well a production perspective. I liked the fact that they listened and produced exactly what we had asked for. My telephone calls or e-mail questions were always answered in a very timely fashion. There were no hassles. Alan was fantastic! He filmed my outdoor wedding in Sept 2011. He was a total pleasure to work with and we LOVE our videos!!! We had a 3 to 4 minute highlight video set to our favorite song and my husband keeps calling it our music video :) The editing is fantastic and he captured everything we talked about. Everyone is so impressed!!

He also put together a film of excerpts from just our ceremony. It's so beautiful!! He really captured the mood and emotion of the moment. I love having the contrast of the ceremony and the fun wedding highlight video.

Honestly, before the wedding we were on the fence about having a professional video done. Especially after seeing so many cheesy wedding videos online. I am so grateful we came across Alan's website!! He is so talented and it really shows in his work. We went from not being sure if we wanted a video to having it be the best thing we came away with!!!

I was not convinced I needed a videographer at my wedding but we had a lot of family from overseas who could not attend and my husband insisted on it. I was completely wrong... not only did we need it, but I would have been crushed if we didn't have it. It turned out better than I ever imagined and Alan was so kind and thoughtful, easy to work with and Leah his coordinator is a gem. I can't say enough kind words about not only their professionalism but what a wonderful gift it is to have memories preserved in such a tasteful way. I know it will be a treasure we look at annually. I have been friends with Alan for a very long time. We attended USC together and I knew he was the one videographer I would hire for my wedding. He did not disappoint. He was professional, showed up on time, got all the perfect shots and put together a beautiful highlight reel that that I can't stop watching. I would hire him again and again and would recommend him to every bride-to-be!
