Absolutely amazing. We got our dream wedding day with these two by our sides. Where do we start. Alan and Heidi have been like true family through planning wedding 1, but when we had to postpone when Covid hit, they were there to reassure us all was okay, helped keep us level headed, and assisted us in the reworking of our ceremony, wedding two! Lol. We ended up getting married in Big Bear. Beautiful place, we didn’t want to leave!
Heidi is lovely, I love how she speaks and she really made the tears fly. The hand fasting was a wonderful addition to our day and now we have an awesome keepsake that means many things to us. Alan is an amazing photographer and is always thinking ten steps ahead. He is fun to be around and easy to chat it up with, and we definitely felt comfortable being ourselves. In turn that means natural, fun, spontaneous, creative photos!!! We love everything he suggests and takes suggestions from us and our families too. He even sent us a little sneak peak from the shoot within hours.
Our families loved them to pieces and were in awe that we found such an amazing duo to help us elope.
They are a wonderful couple and work so well together. We are beyond happy with how our day turned out and we will remember it for all our years.

Unforgettable
Alan and Heidi are absolutely wonderful! From the very beginning they made us feel like family and went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. They checked in with us often, guided us through the process, and made the entire experience easy, fun, and stress-free—which fit us perfectly. The ceremony was heartfelt, the location was stunning, and the photos turned out more beautiful than we could have imagined. Their professionalism, kindness, and genuine care made our elopement truly unforgettable. We are so grateful for them both and would highly recommend them to any couple looking for a magical, memorable day! -

Our perfect day
My wife and I couldn’t be happier with Heidi and Alan! Sadly, our Maui ceremony (for 8/12/23) didn’t go as planned due to the wildfires on the island. We had two days to pivot and re-create a new ceremony location and every detail that entailed. From our first conversation with them we knew it was meant to be! They made the process so easy, so fun, and we felt right at home. Heidi was an amazing officiant. Within a day, she formulated a real ceremony, wrote our love story, and personally made our flower bouquets. Alan made us feel like our authentic selves behind the camera. There’s no hiding how passionate he is about capturing the perfect moments. They went above and beyond- they drove to our hotel so that we could have our first look, provided us with a personalized wedding cake, champagne and flutes right on the beach in Palos Verdes! We could go on and on about these amazing humans but just know we are forever grateful to have met both of them. They made our special day perfect and we will remember it for the rest of our lives! -

So grateful for Alan & Heidi!!
My husband and I had a small time frame on when we could elope. We knew we wanted an intimate ceremony, but we didn’t really know how to achieve it. Upon countless internet searches we finally found Alan & Heidi! They were everything we wanted and more. From the moment we got in touch, they made our wedding planning fun, easy & stress free. Heidi was very attentive and provided tons of options for our ceremony that really made it especially custom to us. We loved the unique options she provided, such as handfasting & cleansing ritual. You can tell that she really cares about you and sets out to make the ceremony as special as it can be. We also appreciated that they found a spot for us that didn’t have much crowds! Alan really set the bar when it comes to photography. He knew exactly what he was looking for and the pictures turned out absolutely amazing. It’s been hard trying to choose a “favorite” because we have such a variety of awesome photos to choose from. My husband and I will forever cherish our wedding photos & day.
We highly recommend this vibrant, down to earth duo for your ceremony & photography! Our wedding was the perfect day, and we couldn’t thank Alan & Heidi enough for being there for us.

My wife Jessica and I, found Alan and Heidi online and we could not be happier with out decision to hire Alan and Heidi to perform and plan our special day! I am not even considering cost. Alan and Heidi do everything they can to ensure you are heard and your requests are followed down to a "T". I think I got that expression right! Our ceremony was very customizable and they were very flexible. My biggest kudos is that they are in constant communication. If you have a question, you are always encouraged to email, text or call. We did not ever feel discouraged from asking questions or making requests. Look no further than Alan and Heidi, we are glad they were a part of our special day because they made it more special. -

A saving grace
This pair saved my wedding. I've had my dream wedding planned since I was 6 with a huge ball gown, swarovski crystal shoes, and a Cinderella carriage pulled by white horses in a cathedral with stained glass windows and a forest reception with all 200 members of my family (my quinceneara was a practice run). I didn't get any of it. Not one single aspect and I was absolutely devastated. I married military and had a month to plan an elopement. We found this couple and from day one they were a comfort. I hated my dress but Alan's photography made me feel like my princess dream. They helped me plan a micro wedding with just our parents and our daughter at a family cabin. They were patient and kind and Heidi helped me incorporate some of our traditions and our families into our ceremony. My husband and I started our marriage off on the right foot because we had this pair of strangers take us in and help us figure it out as if we were part of their family. For anyone who wants a wonderful photographer to make you feel like a princess and an officiant that reassures you and helps you figure out those "what else can go wrong" moments, this is the pair for you. They even arranged for our daughter's flower crown and brought us a cake since we didn't have a reception. -

Alan and Heidi were fabulous to work with. We wanted a small elopement with just our parents in attendance, but we wanted it to be personal and sentimental and more than just going to the court house. During the 2021 phase of the pandemic they were a dream to work with when admittedly I was not! I had a very short timeline and thought a Malibu elopement would be easy to pull off - not so! Malibu has a lot of restrictions and permits and issues for a lot of the places I wanted to go or that were accessible for parents. Alan was really great at checking into the local laws and seeing what was available. I decided to pivot from Malibu and started throwing out some pretty wild ides - A&H were on board for any and everything I was coming up with. We ended up having our ceremony at Walt Disney Concert Hall and the day and the pictures are so stinking perfect I almost can't imagine getting married anywhere else. We never met them in person until the day of but our ceremony was so wonderfully personal (go for the love story upgrade, it was really worth it) and our parents loved it. We are so happy to have worked with Alan & Heidi and treasure our memories of our special day. -

Alan and Heidi were a dream to work with! Alan captured our favorite day beautifully. His artistic style and the way he was able to convey the emotion of the moment in the photographs left us in complete awe. We cried when we saw our photos because we were able to remember that exact moment and what it felt like. Now that is truly something special. We still get so many compliments from family and friends about how beautiful the photos came out and we've had family and friends tell us that they got teary eyed looking through the photos. We have complete admiration for Alan's work, bravo!
Aunt Heidi made our day so incredibly special. She was such a joy to work with throughout the whole process and we truly felt like we gained an aunt and uncle :) If i had 2 recommendations to give it would be (1) book Alan and Heidi for your wedding or special event and (2) definitely opt for the Love Story. The Love Story took our ceremony to the next level. We loved our Love Story so much and it's a memory that we will cherish forever. Seeing the looks on each other faces as Aunt Heidi read the Love Story was priceless and our guests were blown away as well. We received so many compliments after the wedding at how special and perfect the ceremony was and we had many family and friends tell us that was the first time they've experienced such a ceremony and that they were truly engaged during the ceremony.

Fun, Exciting & Romantic
Alan & Heidi are simply the best. They made my NOW husband, myself and my family feel so comfortable in out intimate wedding. They are so cute, funny, lovable, knowledgeable & gave us some damn good advice. I am beyond happy with my elopement. Simply unique and unforgettable.

I love Alan and Heidi. They made our marriage ceremony so sweet and quaint. Heidi is incredible at speaking and making the best of funny situations (where my dogs couldn't stop barking at others close by) and Alan made us feel like my husband and I were the only people in the world. Given the pandemic, my wife and I wanted to have a small elopement in Big Bear--just the two of us and our dog--but we really didn't know how to go about planning it. Heidi and Alan helped us the whole way through. They were attentive, kind, and warm, on top of being a wealth of knowledge with regards to the logistics. They also managed to be super flexible with us as we navigated uncertain weather. Heidi guided us through a ceremony more beautiful than we ever could've imagined. And even though we wound up changing our location from outdoors to indoors, Alan got dozens of amazing shots that we can share with our family and friends and cherish forever. SO grateful for Uncle Alan and Aunt Heidi! -

The absolute best team made our day the best
Wow! Alan and Heidi made our wedding stress-free and were the icing on the (wedding) cake for the entire day. Leading up to the wedding, they answered all of our questions and made sure that we had nothing to worry about. Any time I was a little stressed over something, I ended up talking to them and laughing for a long time. They showed us what was important was just the two of us and that they would handle the rest - and boy did they!
Heidi created a ceremony that was so personal and so us that it had everyone laughing and crying. I truly cannot picture anyone else officiating the best day of our lives other than Heidi. It was so good, I would have loved to do it all over again with her!
Alan was absolutely amazing at being our photographer. I was so nervous in the beginning. It felt unnatural being in this big dress and being the center of attention. But, then he took a few photos and showed and it took my breathe away. It was then that it hit me - I WAS A BRIDE!! AND I LOOKED BEAUTIFUL! Alan walked me over to my husband for the first look and helped me get him to turn around. That was the best moment of my entire life and Alan captured every second of it. Our true personalities came through in all the pictures and it is something that I will cherish forever.
Long story short, Alan and Heidi (Love Story Vows) made our wedding the best. We were comfortable and felt free to enjoy the moment, instead of worrying about everything else. Not to mention - they brought delicious dessert!
I seriously want to get remarried to my husband, just to have them officiant and photograph us, again.
I cannot thank you guys, enough. Thank you!!!! -

Heidi is the most genuine person we could have asked for. She is very personal and detailed on how she creates your experience and we felt she was the best officiant possible for us! The Delgado’s
I found a Reverend Heidi first on Yelp, I messaged her in regards to a intimate elopement packages & she immediately called me back. Our conversation hit it off immediately and I felt like I’ve known her for years. She mentioned her husband was also a photographer and offered us several package deals. I did my research and reviewed his portfolio online and knew that was our vision & exactly what I wanted. Heidi & Alan helped us choose a perfect location that even accommodated family members that are handicap. Heidi was always there when I had questions, we had unlimited calls and emails along the way. She helped us come up with the perfect vows that my husband and I will cherish forever. We got married at Newport Beach under the pier with a sunset setting. Not only did our guests arrive on time but the timing was perfect for the photography. A week or so after the ceremony she guided us along the way on how to file our marriage license & the process of changing my last name. We were also given high definition photos with reprint rights. My husband and I highly recommend them. They will forever be apart of our memories and family. Don’t miss this, you’ll highly regret it. -

Amazing people
Alan and Heidi were amazing!! We originally contacted Alan for our big wedding and engagement pictures, unfortunately covid interrupted our original plans. Alan was extremely helpful and understanding through the whole situation and offered my wife and I great advice on things. We eventually decided on postponing our big church wedding and having Heidi marry us by the lake with our immediate family. They were both amazing and helpful throughout the whole process and made it less stressful. We are still planning on having Alan be our photographer for our church wedding whenever restrictions allow for it. Thanks again Alan and Heidi for being such amazing people. -

Like family
Alan and Heidi were like our family. COVID put such a stress on our wedding day. We had to cancel our original wedding plans 3 month before because of everything. We questioned if we were going to be able to have a wedding at all. After talking to Heidi and Alan I knew that whatever happened we would be married on July 3rd. They let me know they would do anything to make it work for us. Everything worked out and I couldn't have been happier that day. Our photos were beautiful - and I'm a woman who has never liked a photo of herself. Our service was personal and written with love. I highly recommend these two for anyone's special day. -

Amazing Elopement!
Both Heidi and Alan were amazing and comforting during the whole process start to finish. My husband and I are from Florida and wanted to have a special elopement in Big Bear, California and after much research I found Heidi was the best choice! I decided adding on a photography session with Alan that was the cherry on top of the experience. The pictures came out so good, it’s a memory I’ll never forget. -

Intimate elopement
We had our wedding at the tail end of the pandemic. Alan was so great with helping me find the right place and was always there if I had any questions. Very sweet to work with. Heidi did a great job as our officiant. Both are very professional to work with. They can accommodate and size and style wedding. Truly the whole package. -
