Booking at AK Diamond J was the best decision we made for our wedding. Billy and Stephanie are the most amazing people as well are their children. The venue is breathtaking and that would have been enough for us. But Billy and Stephanie came down and started helping us bring our vision to life and helped set up all day long. They had incredible insight as to how things would/should flow. They were so attentive, responsive and just overall amazing people. We had the BEST day ever thanks to them. It’s hard to plan a destination wedding, but they made it so smooth and we’re available to answer any questions we had along the way no matter how small they were. Their hospitality is unmatched. They have a giant shed of decor that was perfect and you really don’t need much of your own. Which is perfect for a destination wedding. Everyone seems to donate to Billy and Stephanie which I think is awesome. Pay it forward. I would come back every year and celebrate our anniversary if we could. Thank you guys for the incredible experience! And thank you to your children for being so helpful and kind as well! -

Stephanie and Billy were great to work with from start to finish. Very easy going but also professional in every aspect. They made the entire process much more smooth and simple than I had imagined it would be. Their venue is absolutely stunning and offers literally everything you need! We didn't purchase any additional decorations, we just used what was already provided and everything turned out great. My wife and I loved it, our guests loved it, I would recommend AK Diamond J Ranch to anyone getting married in Alaska and looking for the ideal venue! -

AK Diamond J Ranch was the venue of our dreams and Stephanie was the most amazing vendor we could have ever asked for. AK Diamond J Ranch is a stunningly beautiful property. It is exactly as the photos show it and when you actually see it in person it is somehow even better. You get unmatched views of mountains and glaciers and you can have their amazingly well behaved horses in your wedding photos as well. Stephanie’s daughters are also so sweet and kind and entertained our guests by telling them all about the horses. Stephanie is also an incredibly involved vendor. She helped show us around her property and accompanied us on our wedding photos to help wrangle the horses. She is such a kind, involved, and responsive vendor. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding. If you are getting married in Homer, Alaska you have to get married at AK Diamond J Ranch. We would recommend them to all of our friends and family.

As an out of state couple we wanted a venue that captured the beauty of Alaska - AK Diamond J Ranch exceeded our expectations with the immediate view of glaciers, mountains, and the ocean. Stephanie and her family went above and beyond to ensure all our questions were answered and that we felt confident as we planned remotely for our big day. She was incredibly hands on throughout the planning process and day of - personally driving us to our first-look location and assisting the vendors to ensure a smooth day. Her children were incredibly professional and engaging when handling the horses who were featured in our photos and also available for the guests to interact with. The venue itself provided a large and clean bridal suite for us to get ready in, a large kitchen for our caterer to prep in, and was ready and prepared for all vendors we brought in. I couldn't recommend AK Diamond J Ranch enough for any brides looking to get married in Alaska - it's the perfect foundation to build such a memorable day. -

I grew up on a ranch in Montana, my husband grew up on an island in Alaska so when we were searching for a venue for our wedding we wanted a spot that would be the perfect fusion of both. AK Diamond J was the EXACT place we were searching for! From the time I set eyes on AK Diamond J I KNEW it was where we would get married. Billy & Stephanie (the owners) were incredibly responsive and easy to work with through the entire process over the year and half of planning our wedding. We had to change our date once and they were very understanding, we added on an extra night of the guest house, we brought in our own craft cocktails, and any other small or big ask we had, they never acted as it was an imposition. They are definitely service-oriented people as are their children! We had such an amazing time planning the wedding with them and having them be a part of our day. The venue is also the most gorgeous spot in Alaska. The expansive area for all the photos, the beautiful glaciers in the background, the close proximity of all the buildings made it perfect for getting ready, photos, the ceremony, and for our caterer to provide cocktail hour food, dinner, and dessert! Will recommend this spot to anyone else who ever asks for a recommendation! -

Absolutely superior in every way!
We could not have had a better experience with this venue. Stephanie and Billy were amazing from day one with their responsiveness and answering every last question. They were so helpful and present for us and did so much to make the process of planning our wedding easier. The property is breath-taking and the inventory of wedding-related items they have on hand available for use saved us an incredible amount of time and money, which did not go unnoticed as the little details piled up. We had looked at at least 12-14 other venues from Palmer to Anchorage and all through the Kenai Peninsula, and this one was without a doubt the most stunning, the best value, and ultimately a wonderful choice for our Alaska destination wedding. I can't recommend this venue enough! Thanks for such a wonderful wedding day we will cherish for life! -

From the first time I drove on to the ranch I knew that this was the perfect place to get married. It was the first and only venue I looked at. After telling my husband about it (he was out of town working so he didn't get a chance to see it until the day of.) he said I trust your judgement, it sounds magical! I just knew that it was where I wanted to marry the man of my dreams. It checked every single thing on my list! Mountain Views, Glacier Views, Ocean Views, located on the side of a mountain surrounded by gorgeous Alaskan trees and the most lovely structures. Not to mention the lovely peony fields and meadows of fireweed! The house has plenty of room for everyone to get ready and the bridal suite was perfect! They truly thought of everything, cute decor for accents in pictures, full length mirrors and adorable dressing area, huge bathroom/makeup studio. And I can't forget about the huge upper deck to take in the sunset/sunrise. The barn is rustic yet modern with a huge deck that can be utilized for many things. The pavilion is absolutely stunning with the perfect backdrop for your reception. Aside from all of the beauty I was surrounded by, I knew it was the right place because of the the owners, Stephanie and Billy. They are the most down to earth, hard working, kind people we've had the pleasure of meeting and developing a friendship with. They were ready to help with anything we needed! From practicing the night before, to the day of it was like they were just part of the family eager to make sure we had the best day ever. I am truly grateful for all of their help! Ak Diamond J Ranch was our fairytale dream wedding location become reality! -

Wedding of our Dreams
Working with Stephanie and Billy Jones Was great. All our planning, questions, and concerns while preparing for our big day were answered promptly and made planning a wedding from North Dakota a breeze. The venue is a work of art in itself! The hand crafted touches complemented the rustic feel and beauty of the location. The decorations provided proved to be more than plenty to create our dream wedding! We would recommend this property through and through! -

Our wedding at AK Diamond J Ranch was like it was out of a dream- gorgeous timber framed barnes, beautiful Alaskan scenery, and not to mention the most kind and gracious hosts. The owners of AK Diamond J Ranch treated us like we were old family friends, right from the start. The reservation and final booking process was seamless, they were very helpful with payment reminders, eager to offer local vendor recommendations, friendly about any questions and communicative about the Ranch guidelines. The weekend of our wedding it was actually raining- which might seem like a negative, but it turned out to be even better than we imagined. The rain made for gorgeous foggy shots of the wedding party and our dinner table setup in the pole barn. When we arrived on Friday afternoon to set up for the weekend, they had a few extra hands on deck to help us out (something we weren't expecting but was a very nice perk!). They were very accommodating with my requests to hang extra strings of lights, and even brought out a ladder to help. Our wedding was beautiful, fun, and the location was a huge hit for all of our friends and out-of-town guests! My (new) husband and I are still getting comments from friends saying that it was the most fun and "magazine level gorgeous" wedding that they had ever been invited to! We love AK Diamond J Ranch, and we would recommend it in a heartbeat.

Loved AK Diamond J Ranch!
We loved AK Diamond J Ranch. From the very beginning they were super responsive to our needs and let us come out a couple times to check the place out before the wedding! The site was gorgeous and we even were able to get a lot of our flowers from their peony farm! Definitely felt like it was the perfect option for us in Homer because of the view, size, and Alaskan feel. We had 200 people and they were super accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place as a first choice in Homer! -

Best weekend ever
The Jones have such a beautiful venue & my special day was one everyone still talks about at family functions. We had the best weekend! I have recommended this venue to anyone I know getting married in Alaska. Even people out of state. -
