All I can say is WOW! Allen and his crew were absolutely AMAZING! From our very first phone call through the wedding day, Allen was honest, transparent, and always reassuring. As a bride, he truly put things into perspective, calmed my nerves, and reminded us that our day would be nothing short of beautiful.
Allen knew exactly which photos to capture — from us as a couple to the bridal party and every detail in between. He created such a relaxed atmosphere and kept us smiling the entire day. We even chose to shoot at two venues, and he never once rushed us, making sure we got every shot we wanted.
His photographer, Logan, was also wonderful — so sweet and attentive, capturing all the right moments perfectly.
I cannot recommend Allen and AJ’s Photography enough. They made our wedding memories unforgettable!

HIGHLY recommend AJ's Photography! Allen is extremely talented and was an absolute pleasure to work with. He is professional, responsive and knows exactly how to get the perfect shots. He went above and beyond the traditional role of a photographer, cutting tags off my dress and shoes when we were behind schedule. He also graciously stayed for an extra hour when we weren't ready for him to leave. Our photos are so stunning and we will look back at them with tears of joy for the rest of our lives. Allen captured every moment so wonderfully, completely exceeding our expectations. We really can't say enough great things about him... he's the best! -

If you want a seasoned professional, Allen from AJ’s Photography is it! He did an absolutely amazing job capturing our wedding day! The photos are timeless and full of emotion. Every shot tells our story perfectly. Our 3½-hour wedding video is incredible, highlighting all the best moments and making it feel like we’re reliving the day all over again.
Allen is professional, kind, and so easy to work with. He was realistic with timelines, shared his wisdom and was flexible. Many of our friends and family have also worked with him, and everyone agrees that he’s simply the best! I cannot say any more great things about Allen and AJ‘s photography! My husband, fiancé at the time, was frustrated with me when I told him the price of the photographer, but let’s face it. Men do not care about that stuff usually and they also don’t realize the value of something so important. Allen did so well with our photos and was there for hours on end making sure that we got exactly what we wanted and needed! Even my husband who was frustrated at first, was impressed and honestly amazed at how fast we got our photos back as well as Allen‘s personality, which fit in so well with us and our friends & family. He soon found that we were jokesters and could open up to his own sense of humor with us. He truly fit right in. I will forever cherish these moments captured by him! -

Wowza. Allen was absolutely fantastic to work with from months before the wedding all the way through my wedding day. He made everything so easy and had great organization of it all! Allen was incredible to work with! He was always quick to respond—even while on vacation—which shows just how dedicated he is. He was professional, easy to work with, and made taking photos feel effortless. He answered every question I had and went above and beyond throughout the entire process.
So many of our guests commented on how amazing he was, and I couldn’t agree more. We even had photos to look at the very same night! Allen keeps the day running smoothly, working seamlessly with the DJ and venue to stay on track. He truly knows what he’s doing, and he’ll make sure you look your best every step of the way.

We can’t say enough great things about Allen and his team! My husband Andrew and I were lucky enough to have Allen capture our wedding day & then a few weeks later we were part of a bridal party also done by Allen. I can’t say enough great things from both ends. As a Bride, Allen made me feel comfortable, relaxed, and he kept us on a great schedule. Allen offered great solutions for picture locations as we were hit with a huge storm! He helped our other vendors when our venue lost power and throughout it all he kept us calm, he kept us laughing and the photos we have are ones we will treasure for years to come! Allen of Aj’s Photography was so great with communicating throughout the process of planning our wedding. With the chaos of planning a wedding, communication is key especially since we were celebrating both of our cultures. We took on the insane notion of holding two ceremonies in one day of celebration. Not only did Allen help to map out and ease us from one ceremony to the other, he and his videographer did an amazing job of truly capturing our day! If you’re thinking about it, don’t, we are so in love with our wedding video and photos, we’ve been sharing them with everyone! Not only that but the turn around time for receiving both was so fast, we got to continue to live in our wedding bliss through our video and pictures. -

Everything was perfect!
I'm very impressed with how everything went leading up to & day of the event!
Allen was available to answer all of my questions & to help organize timing of pictures for our first look. My first time being in a wedding was my own so I had no idea what to expect & he went through everything with me!
Laura did a phenomenal job taking our wedding day pictures! She showed up early to get pictures of my girls in matching pj's, and arranged my shoes, rings, dress, veil & handkerchiefs in such a beautiful way to photograph them while I was getting ready.
The shots she got of my mom helping me get ready are so precious! Along with the photos of us dancing with our parents and each other. Every second of the day was captured beautifully & she was so patient with everybody while gathering our families together for extended family shots. (Which we had a ton of!)
I've gotten so many compliments on the pictures they shared on Facebook of our event. (Which were already uploaded before I even woke up the next morning! Such an amazing surprise to wake up to!)
The turn around time on all the photos was extremely fast, we had a great time going through them while we were on our honeymoon.
I could not recommend AJ photography more, they captured everything perfectly!

We hired AJ’s for our wedding pictures/video and everything turned out perfect. Allen beautifully captured all the important moments from first looks, pictures with our horse, dogs, family, ceremony, and reception. Allen helped us stay on schedule without making it feel like we spent too much time on our wedding day “taking pictures”. I’ve heard of too but many friends getting married and not seeing their wedding pictures until weeks…. Sometimes months after. We had a 50 photo preview literally before I could get all the Bobby pins out of my hair before bed the night of our wedding. Within a couple days we had the complete album.
There’s plenty of great photographers to choose from however, few have the experience and professionalism provided AJs. We have so many great pictures and video footage to enjoy for years to come at a very reasonable price. We would absolutely recommend AJ’s for Wedding Photography and videography. Thanks so much Allen! -

Allen was very flexible with meeting with us. He gave us the important information always ahead of time with enough time to make decisions or change details, never left us wondering. We appreciated his honesty when it comes to certain shots I wanted off of pinterest that would've in reality looked awkward or the space in the picture would look off with. Usually, we feel awkward when it comes to taking professional pictures, and with the nerves high already on the wedding day. Allen was a breath of fresh air during photos. He was joking with us and laughing, we felt relaxed and comfortable taking photos with him. That was the most important thing for us was to feel comfortable, and Allen did just that. He was available to reach easily and with prompt responses. My husband and his family aren't big picture takers, and we are so impressed and grateful for the photographs Allen got of them. Allen and his team were amazing with regards to adding last minute unexpected pictures for us. Truly he captured memories for a lifetime. We did the conventional photo booth. The guest and ourselves loved it! It was a smaller wedding and the booth fit perfectly to our intimate wedding. The complimentary photo album we received with the USB Drive of all the photos taken from the photo booth is more than we expected and we couldn't stop laughing at some of the messages written by our guests. Our video of how our story began and our actual wedding video being 140 minutes long we couldn't be more happier with AJ's photography work for our wedding. We enjoyed watching our wedding video like a movie with our family on our TV with endless happy tears and laughs. I would 100% recommend AJ's Photography to anyone I know. Our guest, friends, family and I are beyond satisfied with Allen and his teams work! -

We had the pleasure of working with Allen! He was so thorough when going through family dynamics to make sure we got every family photo possible. Allen was super professional and very punctual! My husband and I could not believe the turnaround time. We had all of our pictures back by the time we were home for our honeymoon! We also used AJ's video service, and it did not disappoint. When we asked Allen what the benefits the one that stuck out the must was years from now not everyone will still be around, but we will be able to see their smiles and hear their voices! We are so glad we ended up doing the video and would have regretted it if we didn't. Fun, reliable, creative, and absolutely beautiful photos I think sums up AJ Photography. Allen was flexible with scheduling my daughter's engagement photos and took his time setting each photo up to be perfect. He promised to have their photos ready within a week and he delivered in just a couple of days. He also provided a couple websites to use for prints and canvas that were easy to use and reasonably priced. I can't wait to see the photos from the wedding next year! 100% recommend! -

We hired AJ's for videography for our wedding a few weeks ago- easiest decision ever! AJ's has done pervious weddings in my family, so I knew when we got engaged, we wanted to hire Allen and his team to capture our special day, and that he did! We received our highlight video the next day and our complete video that same week! They captured every single moment that we can now relive by watching and sharing it with our family! Not only did Allen do an incredible job recording our entire wedding, he went above and beyond by assisting with so many details the day of our wedding- from helping the guys with boutonnieres to adjusting our timeline on the spot to make the night go seamless. Allen was truly better than what we even could imagine. By time he took 3 pictures of us I felt like we knew each other already. Not only us, but our guests as well. It's been 6 months since our wedding and people still ask about our photographer all the time. And 6 months later he stills says hi every now again on Facebook. Only thing I regret is not getting the video package. I thought pictures would be good enough. After seeing other people's videos, I really wish we had one. Would have been the best 1000$ I ever spent in my life. Don't be cheap like me because I really regret that now lol. You will regret it also. You will really regret it if you don't go with AJ's photography

Allen and Kristie were both great to work with. My husband and I hired AJ’s to do videography last minute for our wedding. Allen was very communicative with me and walked me through everything step by step and called me a few times leading up to the wedding just to stay in touch and give me a few reminders. Kristie was the one who came to record the video and she did a great job. We forgot to let her know that when the ceremony started that we were going to turn off half the lights in the room (sorry!). But between her quickly changing some settings and Allen’s video editing, the video still looks great. Kristie worked well with our photographers too which was nice to see since they were from another company. AJ’s Photography’s pricing is very reasonable, and I would definitely recommend Allen and his team to others! -

Allen and his team are the BEST! We hired AJ’s for photos and video and that was the best decision we could have made for our wedding. Before our big day, we met with Allen where he answered all of our questions and asked us all about our wedding day. He is so incredibly thorough and explained the process/questions from start to finish. Allen went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. He truly cared about what we wanted on our big day and made sure we got exactly that. Allen was so much fun and enjoyable to be around on our wedding day. Our wedding was incredible and Alan was one of the reasons why. He gave us so many important ideas and suggestions that helped to make our day so beautiful. His photographs are so spontaneous and just amazing we literally can’t stop looking at them. If you want above five star service to capture your memories both through photos and video, AJ’S photography is the way to go! We already knew Allen was going to be excellent and would be the perfect match for us when he shot our amazing engagement photos. Allen and Laura both went above and beyond to make sure they captured every single second of our day and night. Not only was Allen and Laura SO accommodating and laid back, they were down to do anything to capture the perfect pictures (which was all 400+)! We are so glad that we decided to use their video service as well as they were able to capture the true moments of our perfect day and night. They use high quality blu ray and it is a wonderful feeling that we can relive that day whenever we please. We also didn’t have to wait to see our photos and video. The quality and quantity is above and beyond! We had a blast working with them and you can see that through their impeccable work!

Where to even start! You book your Wedding Photographer hoping for beautiful shots of your special day, and you get that and so much more from Allen (AJ’s Photography)!!!! His work speaks for itself. The style of his photography is simply stunning and he managed to snap every little detail of the day. The angles, lighting, and his creativeness were perfect! He was also so spontaneous and made our day fun and made us feel comfortable. We had so much support over the last two years from him. We had to reschedule our wedding 3 different times, and he was always so understanding, patient, and attentive with us. Trying to plan a wedding after a baby and during a pandemic wasn’t easy, but Allen never gave up on us, and stayed with us through it all. He is truly an awesome guy! From early afternoon until the end of the night, he was running around getting photos from all angles. He also provided our Videography for our big day! Our Wedding video is the best quality, sound and picture you ask for! Our pictures are absolutely beautiful. All I can say is WOW! He always had great advice/recommendations and tips for us! The communication was always 100%. Whenever I had a question he always told me to just call him, and he always spoke to me the same day or called me back immediately. He really gave us the best memories and we are so grateful to him. He captured all the fun and love of our family and closest friends. I cannot say enough great things about Ajs photography!! Allen at AJ’s Photography went above and beyond our expectations. I honestly could not have done it without him! He made the process extremely natural and fun. If you look at the collection, you can feel the emotions, and that is exactly what you would want portrayed. I can relive the moments by looking at them. The quality is incredible!! He definitely has an art to his photos. He is so dedicated to his work. At one point, Allen almost killed himself on a fallen tree branch, just to get the perfect shots. I highly recommend AJ’s photography, they are professional, affordable, FUN, and make you feel at ease. My family and friends are eternally grateful for all of his help and support along the way and of course for these sweet beautiful memories that he captured. -

Hiring AJ's Photography for our wedding was one of our first decisions we made with our vendors. While we planned a 100+ guest wedding, due to Covid-19 we ended up having 9 people total with an intimate ceremony and dinner this past weekend on June 6th! Our pictures came out so well! Since we only had pictures done, I've only worked with Allen but his expertise with working with different lighting made our pictures amazing. We had a few poses we wanted and he accommodated all of them. He took charge with our "first look" and all of the pictures that followed, which really helped. He posed us and our families and the day was very organized. Allen also has a great sense of humor so he got some candid laughing pictures while posing us and talking with us. Highly recommend hiring AJ's Photography! -

I originally hired AJ's Photography to take engagement photos, without regret. The photos came out so amazing that I knew I wanted AJ's team to be there on our wedding day. Allen and his team are extremely professional and made everything stress free. Allen Bartnick went above and beyond expectations changing his role as photographer to helping the groomsmen put on their boutonnieres to helping me carry my insanely poofy/heavy dress.
AJ's photography provided many services including our photos, video and photo-booth. By the end of the reception, Allen had already put together a slideshow of photos already being displayed!! Before the team left, they handed my husband and I a flash-drive containing all the pictures from our photo-booth. I could not believe how fast they got things done. By the next morning, there had already been recaps of both our ceremony and reception posted on our Facebook pages! I can continue going on and on about how pleased we were to work with AJ's. Our photos were all absolutely beautiful... I am beyond happy to have had Allen and his team capture all the best moments from one of the most important days of our lives. AJ’s Photography was amazing when it came to what we wanted for our wedding. I’m definitely a picture person who likes moments captured (posed and candid). So, even before I planned on getting married, finding a good photographer was the one and only thing that I needed/wanted to be great and not settle just for a cheap price. I have seen their work throughout the years and have always loved the quality.
I looked around at a few photographers that I had in mind, but AJ’s was so quick to respond and go over all details and what they had to offer, they made the process so easy. A couple weeks leading up to the wedding they sit down with you and go over every detail, times, places/options for photos, write down any special requests you may have. They made me feel confident that I went with the right choice and would get photos that I’ve always wanted.
Morning of event, the photographer was early and able to get started on her own. Our wedding party didn’t have to worry about a thing. The photographer is very experienced and talented that she directed us all and made sure we were all positioned correctly, which made the photos even better.
From getting ready, to your typical group/couple shots, candid photos, I couldn’t have asked for anything better, she surpassed my expectations. The night of the reception she already had a slideshow going of photos she had taken earlier in the day, at that point with the few photos shown, I knew I’d be very happy and was excited to see all the photos.
It was less than a week that all of our photos were ready for pick up! People were amazed at how fast their turnaround time was and loved the photos. When you pick them up they go over in detail what is provided (depending on what package you have chosen), directions and suggestions when using the USB provided.
I would highly recommend AJ’s Photography. With their impeccable customer service, experience and very reasonable prices...you can’t beat it. -

Allen was a true professional. His work is high quality and his turn around time is insanely fast. He was fun to be around, treated us like gold during our wedding day and captured everything we wanted. He even surprised us with a slideshow of pictures at the reception. We also ordered a video of our wedding. His video and audio quality was superb. The audio was crystal clear and the HD quality on the bluray was great. His pictures and video captured our day just as we remembered it - perfect. -

Allen did a wonderful job at our wedding at Turning Stone. He was friendly, flexible and understanding when it came to our large wedding party. We received all our photos, digital and print in 10 days, and they were fantastic. Would 10/10 recommend for anyone getting married in the area. -

AJ’s Photography is the best!! His pictures are amazing you can definitely tell he has the talent and an artistic eye! He’s very easy to get along with and any requests that we had he made sure to capture. He made us feel so relaxed during the pictures. I also liked the fact that you didn’t feel like you had a camera in your face all day. Even out on the dance floor he was there taking pictures but you didn’t realize he was taking pictures. Allen is very professional and funny he was making jokes with us! He definitely goes above and beyond for his clients. And we didn’t have to wait months to get our pictures which is huge! By the next day there were some up on Facebook and within a week they were all done! You won’t be disappointed with AJS Photography!! -

The biggest advice we received while planning our wedding was to choose a quality photographer and AJ's Photography was recommended by many. We had chosen AJ's and we could not be any happier with our decision. From the first phone call, AJ's left a memorable impression on us. Allen kept everything organized, was very timely with responses, flexible with meeting times and was very professional. What I really loved about AJ's was when they were able to play pictures on a laptop that were taken THAT day during our reception. The rest of our pictures were ready within a week! We had just recently met with Allen to go over our album that he is working on and I am beyond excited and cannot wait to see the finished product. We hired AJ's photography for our wedding on 9/8/18. From the beginning, AJ was extremely responsive and was clear in setting expectations and timelines. He made everything so organized. Despite us marrying in Albany, NY, where he does not typically have many weddings, arrangements were easy and we both worked together to pick shooting locations. On my wedding day, both he and the Videographer were extremely nice and fun to be around while still keeping us on schedule. He recommended the order of pictures and the positioning of everyone and everything went seamlessly. Everyone had fun with the photography at the wedding and the videographer was able to accommodate my husband's request for less lighting on the dance floor while still maintaining a good picture. I am so thrilled with our pictures. Each one is flattering and the lighting and backgrounds are perfect. I would recommend AJ's photography to anyone in Central New York.
