Amazing photographer!

We are so happy we chose Arol to be our wedding photographer! From our engagement shoot to the wedding he was awesome to work with and made us feel comfortable and relaxed. All of our pictures came amazingly and truly capture the day. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with him and are so glad we will have his pictures to look back on forever.

Brilliant photographer

Prior to my wedding, I had a friend advise me not to cheap out on wedding pictures. Lucky for me, Arol was gracious enough to offer me an awesome deal while providing premium photography and videography. Pictures can be tricky and very subjective, but I am glad to say that I do not regret hiring Arol (and his videographer) whatsoever and whole-heartedly recommend this talented photographer. Like I said, pictures can be highly subjective. But you know a photographer is good when EVERYONE (that I knew) can 100% agree that the pictures taken by Arol were amazing. Arol captured moments I didn't realize were moments. The resolution of his pictures were also amazing. Both the slide show and the video highlight really captured the vibe and atmosphere of that night. He was also cool to talk to. If you want some premium, amazing quality, memorable moments captured, look no further and hire this gentleman. He's got some skills.

Best Photographer Ever!!

AJ is amazing!! We got married at Valhalla and Camp Richardson in South Lake Tahoe and he captured all the beauty the area had to offer, as well as all the fun moments we had!! He is so good at what he does and capturing all the best moments, that we barely knew he was there because he didn’t have to be in our faces. He also didn’t have to use obnoxious lighting or flashes to get great photos of us. He truly is a genius at figuring out the perfect lighting and the best locations to get it. He was also very good at getting us to act natural during our poses. His direction was so good and natural that we didn’t feel awkward at all. We have looked at our photos over and over and just love them all! Our friends and family have also gushed about them. My groom is in the wedding industry and has worked with hundreds of photographers and AJ is by far one of the best!!! AJ is also very chill and kind, so it’s easy to have him with you throughout your wedding day. He really made things feel stress-free and worked with the time we allotted for photos beautifully. We were right on time with everything! Do yourself a favor and pick AJ as your photographer!! You won’t regret it!

Stunning photos and easy to work with!

Arol is true professional through and through. He is not your typical wedding photographer. Yes, he will get your shot list, but he thrives on candids and capturing the true essence of the day. We could not be more happy with the final results. And to add in his efficiency on site, quick turn around post wedding and all-around positive attitude, it made for a truly rewarding experience. To equate it to sports, it was like he took our shot list and important moments and made a playbook out of them. He came on site with a game plan that he executed flawlessly. Our entire wedding party commented about how efficiently he moved from shot to shot and how friendly, yet direct, he was in adjusting each part of the shot. Even guests came up to us during the reception making comments. If you are looking for photos that are unique, candid and truly capture your day, Arol is your guy.

Phenomenal Photographer

I dont even know where to begin because anything I say just does not do Arol and his amazing talent with the camera justice. We are very blessed that we found AJH Photography to capture our wedding. One of the most important aspects of this day was the pictures. Arol exceeded my expectations by 1000%. Not only do we have amazing pictures that will last for generations to come, but we also made a friend with memories to last a lifetime of our special day. Even though we are 12 hours apart, we will definitely be using Arol again for family pictures. Huge kudos to AJH Photography!!!!

Professional, Efficient, Amazing!

Arol was an absolute pleasure to work with during our wedding. He was incredibly professional and efficient, so my husband and I had plenty of time to enjoy our wedding without losing lots of time to pictures. After our wedding, we got the pictures back from Arol incredibly quickly and couldn't be happier with the results. All the shots we wanted turned out great! He even got some incredibly cute pictures of my dog! He has a great eye for lighting and came up with some super creative shots. 10/10, would recommend to anyone and everyone. Arol and his team helped capture every memory of our wedding. I hired him for photography and videography, best decision I ever made. Both services have been more than I could have bargained for.

Arol went out of his way at the wedding to capture everyone and everything. The photos and video are stunning, every emotion and expression have been captured and I am so thankful to him and everyone there that day that made this possible. His photography, passion and commitment to his clients is unwavering, he also has very quick response times whether by call, text or email. Prior to our wedding, I’d been following Arol’s IG page for some time. I fell in love with his work right way, and was not surprised when I saw his name on a list of recommended photographers I’d requested from my coordinator. We made the easy decision to book him for our engagement pictures and wedding day right away. Although my husband and I are EXTREMELY camera shy and absolutely dislike taking pictures, it was very important that everything be perfectly captured at our engagement session and wedding. Arol not only made us feel at ease, he selected the most beautiful backdrop (camp Ben) for our engagement pictures. It was exactly what I’d pictured and expressed to him. Our wedding day pictures...I don’t even have the words to accurately describe what an exceptional job Arol did at capturing our wedding day. Even our family, friends, and co-workers were blown away by our pictures! He has a very special eye and technique, that allows him to capture so many emotions and gorgeous images so perfectly. I found myself laughing, crying, and feeling smitten as I went through our pictures. I was finally able to put together the events of our wedding day which had been a total blur up to that point. Arol surpassed our expectations and we were so lucky he was available to capture these special moments. Im not sure we could ever thank him enough for delivering such flawless photography on both of these special occasions!

Arol was one of our favorite vendors we worked with during our wedding planning process. He was also one of the first vendors we booked, second only to the venue itself. We knew immediately that we wanted to book him (my now-husband, in particular, is picky about photography but flipped through one of Arol's albums at the venue - since he's the preferred photographer of our venue, another testament to his work - and said "This guy is amazing"). I can't talk enough about his 1) friendliness, 2) professionalism, and 3) photography skills. Like I said before, Arol is one of our favorite vendors to work with. He always responds promptly to emails (and I've had experiences where vendors take weeks...NOT Arol. Give him a day, max!) and has no problem talking to you over the phone and answering all of your questions (I had many! And he was so patient). His friendliness and easygoing attitude puts you at ease. But he's also so, so professional. And, of course, his photography skills are unparalleled. He also has you fill out an informative shot sheet prior to the wedding so that you can articulate any particular shots you want and any other details he needs to know. I was extremely impressed by this thorough and excellent preparation. But anyway, back to his photography...the price is on the higher side, yes, but it is worth the splurge and is extremely fair for the quality AND sheer quantity of photos he provides you. Trust me, we were pinching pennies but AJH Photography was one investment we correctly believed was worth the price. I was impressed not only by how beautiful my photos were, but also by how many he provided. AND, you get all the rights to the photos, which saves you so much money being able to print them yourselves. Finally, the packaging in which we received our final product had some extra goodies in it (I won't spoil for anyone who books him)...under promises, over delivers!

About 4 years ago I got to see Leon Bridges in a venue with about 12 people. This was before he was selling out arenas, showing up on Grammy red carpets, and getting covers on Rolling Stone magazine. This is how I feel about Arol. He is so above and beyond talented, and should (and probably will soon) be doing the weddings of celebrities and royalty.

If you know anything about photography, you don't need to read this review, because a few seconds on his website and you'll see that he's in a different league than the rest, and you've probably already booked him. Even without knowing much about photography, you'll still be able to feel his photos with your heart, and not just see them with your eyes. This is because he puts his heart into his craft. Something that websites also can't describe is personality. From the moment I met Arol I felt great. He has this happiness and passion that is truly contagious, and had he not been at my wedding taking photos, I would have wanted him there as a guest. He has so much fun taking the photos, and we all see and feel that, and it makes all of the photos that much better - because we were all happy to take them because he was behind the camera.

Do yourself a favor and book him before he's too famous and too expensive for any of us to afford. He is without a doubt the best in the business, and by hiring him you will see this like we did.

We enthusiastically recommend AJH Photography to any couple looking for a fabulous photographer and high-quality prints. AJH Photography came highly recommended by the first photographer we booked who wasn’t going to be able to shoot our wedding due to unforeseen events out of their control. With it being short notice, we appreciated Arol’s professionalism and his jumping right in. AJH Photography made the wedding photography process feel enjoyable and effortless. We loved Arol’s ability to bring out a classic, almost Old Hollywood cinematic elegance in our photos. Arol not only provided us with the prints but he also sent them in a beautiful wooden box along with a matching wooden USB. It was a nice touch. We found AJH Photography through our venue’s suggestion of photographers. When we saw his work, we immediately knew he would be the one who would capture our special day. We looked at other photographers, doing our due diligence, only to come back to Arol over and over again. The way he uses lighting was amazing and we wanted our photos to look just as elegant. We found Arol on the preferred vendor list that our venue Vista West gave us. We did a lot of research of photographers in Austin and every time we always came back wanting to pick Arol. He is the most knowledgeable that we spoke to not only about his own profession but questions we had about wedding planning in general! His pricing is very reasonable especially for the top-notch quality of pictures you get but also because you are also getting a photographer that you can contact any time with any question and he is more than happy to answer it.
I found that working with Arol was easy, fun, and stress free. He took the guess work out of everything and also communicated with us when changes needed to be made, etc.
The day of the wedding could not have gone better, we owe a lot of that to Arol, he stuck to the schedule and made everything run extremely fast and efficient. He is so kind and makes you feel very comfortable in front of the camera.
We just got back out photos and we are obsessed with every single picture. There isn't one that we didn't love.
If you don't hire Arol to photograph your wedding, you are SERIOUSLY missing out.

When I started my wedding planning process, I was constantly told by people to splurge on a good photographer. Thankfully the wedding venue I had chose had a great list of Photographers they have worked with that they heavily recommended. The ones I tried to book were booked out the entire year but they pointed me to AJH Photography. Right when I saw his portfolio I knew this is what I wanted and I'm glad it worked out the way it did.

He does FANTASTIC work in all low lighting situations, as well as all lighting really, but If your wedding is going to be in doors and at night he will make them breathtaking.

Right from the get go he responded quickly and was extremely professional. One of the things I love about my photos were the fact I told him that I'd like professionally posed photos as well as candid shots and he did just that. I had many beautiful photos as well as ones that were just downright funny that captured the mood of my wedding.

He was within our Price range and worth every penny I spent on our package. He was even honest with what package he felt we needed and we never once felt pressured buying something we didn't need. He actually saved us quite a bit from what I originally was going to buy.

When we did receive the photos they were everything we wanted and more. Super happy with everything and I have recommended him to many coworkers that are currently in the wedding planning process!

My wife and I spent so much time trying to find the perfect photographer for our wedding until we came across Arol's website. Arol is an amazing photographer! He shot both our engagement and wedding photos. I initially contacted him to do our engagement photos and scheduling was super easy. He made the session such an enjoyable experience! He also had some great suggestions for locations, poses, and all of the smaller details which made the photos come out perfect! After seeing how good they came out, we had to have him for our wedding as well. Arol was very familiar with our venue (VWR), which was nice because he knew all of the cool spots with great lighting and whatnot. All in all, I couldn't be happier with Arol. I know I'll have these pictures for a lifetime, and I have him to thank for making them so beautiful.

I knew my choice in photographers was going to be the most important one and I almost can't find the words to say how pleased we are with Arol and the photos that he captured on our wedding day! Arol can do what other wedding photographers often don't--make you say wow. He puts you at ease, he has a great personality, and he's easy to work with. He uses light better than all the other photographers we looked at (and we looked at tons of pictures by other photographers before we chose him). He does all the photos you request and creates the photos you'll want to blow up and frame. All I can say is give him a sunset to work with because he'll create some amazing photos. His service is top notch--he communicates with you throughout the process and responds to you immediately when you have questions or problems. We could not be happier with the photos he took for our engagement, bridal, and wedding. They are memories we will cherish for a lifetime.

Having Arol as our photographer was one of the best vendor choice we made! We absolutely love our photos and he made the process so easy and relaxed from beginning to end. Arol photographed our wedding at Camp Lucy in March 2016 and did an amazing job. He really captured everything we wanted - a fun celebration in a beautiful place. He was quick with the portraits and family photos so everyone could get to the celebration and all the photos still look great. He had our online gallery up in less than 3 weeks and he caught all the important moments perfectly, and lots of fun, candid moments as well.

Arol went above and beyond photographing our wedding. I love the candid photos of all of our family and friends helping us celebrate our big day. We requested a Texas Tech tradition picture with our guest doing a tortilla toss which turned out more than I could've ever imagined. Arol was a great sport, and brave for having tortillas hurling towards him. We will enjoy our photos for years to come to reflect back on our big day. Arol shot our engagement and wedding photos and we could not be happier with how both turned out. The way he uses light and filters is amazing even though our engagement photo day was cloudy and our wedding was shot in December so we had lower light at the end of our ceremony. He was beyond professional and got all of the shots we wanted at the wedding. Everyone is blown away by the quality of our wedding album as well. The sunset photos and colors are so beautiful. I would hire Arol Horkavy again & again purely based on the fact that his photos are absolutely incredible & stunning. I can be quite picky with photos & how I look in photos, but Arol 100% satisfied everything I hoped for in our wedding photos!!! Our wedding portraits are AMAZING & he somehow was able to capture all of the special moments from our entire day. My friends keep commenting that our wedding photos make our wedding look like something out of a movie because they’re that good! Arol made the whole experience really fun & his candid shots are unreal! We have so many awesome photos of our friends & family laughing with the best facial expressions, dancing & enjoying themselves & he captured such sweet moments between my husband & I without ever making us feel like we had a camera in our face. He made my husband Jol & I feel so comfortable around him & that says a lot because my husband isn’t always eager to have lots of photos taken of himself. When I look through our wedding photos it’s like reliving the day because you can feel the emotion & special experience come through the photos. I think your wedding photographer is your most important wedding vendor decision, because after your wedding day is over your photos are all that you’re left with (besides a new husband lol). I placed A LOT of importance & effort into making sure we chose the right wedding photographer & we definitely made the right decision with Arol.

My husband & I had the very difficult task of planning a Texas wedding while currently living overseas in Australia. Arol went above & beyond helping out with anything I needed & was happy to help recommend other vendors & wedding tips. He was always quick to respond to emails (even with the crazy time difference of Texas vs. Australia) & he really put in a lot of effort to understand what we were looking for. Wedding planning can be SO stressful, but with Arol you can relax & know you will be very happy with your wedding photographer.

We had Arol as our photographer, and even before our wedding we knew the photos would be perfect. He is very friendly and easy to work with. Arol is an amazing photographer. Not only is the quality of his work excellent, but he is great to work with. He immediately makes you feel comfortable, and he goes above and beyond for you. Arol did my engagement photos, my bridals, and my wedding day photography. The pictures are incredible, and I will continue to look back on them for many years to come. We could not have had a better photographer. I would recommend Arol to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!

We found Arol's booth while at La Hacienda's open house. Immediately the quality of his work stood out. My then fiance and I had a long talk about the cost and services, but I insisted: the cost is negligible, but the quality isn't. Do we want a cookie cutter company that will send just some random person with a disposable camera [that's the type of quality offered by the competitor], or someone that truly loves their work and puts his best into every shot? After all, once the food, cake, and beer (and wine) is gone, this is all that's going to matter of that day: the memories.

We talked to Arol. His passion for photography was immediately obvious when we spent probably 30 minutes just talking about the lighting, technique, and the secrets of how he captured some of his most amazing photos. We had found our photographer.

Arol took his time capturing every moment, from my wife and her bridal party getting ready, to the little moments that we will never forget(like her dad breaking a vase at the beginning of the ceremony. Mazel Tov!).

We had our first teaser on Facebook the day after, and just that photo alone was a hit. Everyone there, and those that wanted to but weren't able to, couldn't wait to see the rest.

We couldn't be happier to have chosen Arol to capture these moments. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Arol has a great eye for composition and lighting. His final product is a cut above any other photographer we considered. He is extremely friendly, but still knows how to heard large groups of people to get those large family pictures done quickly. He is extremely responsive to e-mail, and has great turnaround time with getting proofs of your pictures back. All and all, he was the perfect photographer for our engagement photos, my wife’s bridal shoot, and our wedding photos. I would recommend him to anyone I know that is getting married. He is well worth the cost, especially as this is a once a lifetime event he is capturing.

Arol was a WONDERFUL photographer. He is amazing at shooting original and creative photographs. Our wedding photos look like they belong in a magazine. His quality of photos exceeded our expectations. He personality and professionalism made our day so much fun as well as efficient. He is certainly a professional who knows what he is doing so that you do not have to worry about anything. We had several friends comment on how impressed they were with Arol, which was awesome because you wouldn't think people notice how amazing a photographer is until the photos...but Arol is that good! When we were looking around debating what photographer we wanted to use (worried about our budget), we kept looking back at AJH Photography and we ended up deciding we didn't care the cost.. WE WANTED HIM!

When we met with him, he was laid back and ensured us that he would do everything in his power to help make the day fabulous. He was laid back and we knew that he would fit in well with our families.

Needless to say, when the day came around. He made everything soo easy! He was everywhere! I cannot wait to see all of the photos that he took because I know that our day will forever be glorified within the amazing photographs that he captured.

Having him as our photographer is something we will never regret. He makes everyone look amazing and is truly talented and 1 in a million. From seeing the raw shots he took that day, I know that he doesn't have much editing to do and he captures the brilliances of the day with no help from photoshop.

Arol was absolutely incredible to work with. He was so easy going and made everything very easy on us. His pictures are breathtaking! We had an idea of how amazing our pictures were going to look, and they blew us away! He is so talented and confident in his work, you cannot help but to feel completely at ease having him as your photographer. After shooting our wedding, which did not end until midnight, he actually edited and posted a few of his favorite pictures that night! We had all of our pictures available online within a week! We are so excited to see our photobooks (included in our package) and know these will be amazing as well! We highly recommend Arol to anyone and could not be any happier with our decision!!

No words can express how thankful I am that my husband and I found Arol. We had spent 9 months looking for a photographer that was a little bit different...someone who didn't always take the same shots for every wedding. Someone who understood lighting, and who wasn't afraid to get creative with different shots. Arol was all that and more. Our photos were beautiful, our album was exquisite (nothing like any of the other photographers had shown us), and he was extremely professional while still being down to earth. I can't say enough good things about this guy! He captured our wedding perfectly!

We got married in 2011, but realized we never got a chance to write this review! AJ was awesome throughout the whole process. We live in Houston but got married in Austin so he was very accomodating. We took our engagement and wedding photos with him. We really didn't know where to go for our engagement photos but he asked us a variety of questions to get our style and we ended up driving around through Fredricksburg (his suggestion) and the pictures turned out awesome! The same goes for our wedding. He was always very responsive and accomodating with us. We would totally recommend him!

Arol was awesome! We were married on September 2 and we received our wedding pictures last week. He was very quick to get them back to us and we couldn't be more happy with how they turned out. Arol was efficient with the family portrait pictures, and during the ceremony and reception I didn't even realize he was there (but he managed to get many great pictures). He is professional and quick to respond to emails. Great photographer and would highly recommend. Since we live in Houston, we booked all of our vendors based on reviews- and I can truly say that we were not let down at all. Thanks Arol!

When I first reviewed Arol's photos online, I was intrigued. His photos not only capture images, but they tell a wedding story. His style, in my opinion, can be described as classic love meets contemporary chic. Both my husband and I were incredibly happy when we received our photos! AJH was able to portray the love my husband and I have for each other, and the feel/style of our wedding day. And, brilliantly, he stayed true our personality as a couple. The comment I hear the most when someone is looking at the photos that wasn't able to attend the wedding is: "It looks just like the movies." His experience shines because he was never in the way, but always taking pictures. He was very calm and patient on our wedding day, even when things became hectic. Another great thing is how quickly he finished editing my photos. I was DYING to see them, as most brides are, and I received both my bridals and wedding photos within weeks of the events! He is very personable, fun, and professional. We enjoyed working with him, and would do so again in a heart beat!

We booked AJ for bridal portraits and our wedding at the Oasis in Austin,TX. He captures every moment and provides high quality work. AJ is very personable and helpful. Whenever I needed something at the wedding, even if it was not related to photography, AJ was willing to jump in and help out to make my day incredibly special. He is very personable and made my bridal portraits and the wedding amazing. He is on time, which is very important to me. As an amateur photographer (i.e. I own an expensive camera that I can use decently) I appreciate the fact that A.J. is a photography geek. He honestly tries to capture the best possible picture no matter what lens he is using. Our engagement photo session was superb and we still get compliments on those photos. We just received our wedding photos and are simply stunned at how well they've come out. I can honestly say that we picked the best possible photographer for our special day.

AJ provided photography for my destination wedding in Playa Mujeres, Mexico. I met him at a bridal event sponsored by Rare Magazine and after seeing his sample work I was sure he would be a great person to hire for our wedding. However, once I saw the photos from our ceremony and wedding weekend, all of our expectations were completely surpassed. He did such a marvelous job! AJ was the photographer for our daughter's wedding this past July. We were so pleased with his services. He was able to capture wonderful candid shots of everything from pre-wedding to the farewells. He even had to deal with a downpour at the end of the ceremony and was able to adapt the wedding party/family shots even though Mother Nature did not cooperate. We were able to view the photos much more quickly than I had anticipated and were so pleased with all of the results. If you want someone to capture your special day and be amazingly unobtrusive while doing so, then AJ is the person to hire. You will have wonderful pictures to document all those special moments!

A.J. is an awesome photographer. WOW...AJ's work is absolutely amazing!! I saw a few wedding photos from a friend of mines wedding and they just captured my heart. I researched AJ, and fell in LOVE with his work! AJ has the best personality... you can't help but be yourself when he's shooting! I was looking for a photographer that would capture our personalities, be flexible and affordable. AJ was all that and more. He helped make this amazing time of our lives so perfect. My husband and I are both teachers and coaches that lived 2 hours apart from each other while we were engaged all while AJ lived another three hours from us. AJ was so flexible with shooting all our photos which included engagement, bridals and our wedding session. When planning a wedding, the last thing you need to worry about is getting all your pictures taken in a timely matter, not a problem with AJ. I have heard nothing but positive things about all our photos. One of my good friends’s just book him for her weeding that will be in Minnesota next September! Once you meet AJ, you can't help but love what he does! My husband and I have already planned on AJ shooting our future baby pictures!!

AJ is truly an artist. When I saw just an alley, AJ saw an amazing photo opprotunity. I have a lot of friends who spent a fortune on their wedding photographer and had nothing but bad experiences. AJ is worth every penny. I received nothing but compliments on all my photos. All my other vendors also wanted to know who my photographer was because they were so impressed with AJ's work. I work 12 hour nights, but AJ was always able to work around my schedule. My husband still can't get over how beautiful my bridal pictures turned out. Don't worry if you have a fiance that dreads taking pictures, AJ can make anyone feel comfortable. He started talking about football stuff and my husband seemed like he forgot we were taking pictures. My sister who was my Maid of Honor said AJ was the only vendor she did not have to worry about on my wedding day . AJ understands how important wedding pictures are to each individual bride and will make sure you are left with pictures that truly capture your day.

I have gotten sooo many wonderful comments on my wedding photos shot by AJH Photography from family and friends. Arol was able to shot my entire 160 guest wedding by himself and never missed a thing! There are plenty of AMAZING shots of me and my husband but SO many great photojournalism shots of our guests. He really captured it all so beautifully. My engaged bridesmaids and a few engaged wedding guests have already snatched him up for their weddings because of his fun personality, unique traditional style and his professionalism. AJ was very professional from the start and always on time. We were not sure how an engagement session would go but AJ is a pro at making you feel comfortable and getting natural shots. I called Arol a couple weeks before my wedding because I was nervous about only having one photographer which was a family friend. He immediately agreed to do my wedding and work with the other photographer. I always felt really comfortable because of his professionalism and communication. The day of the wedding he showed up early and stayed late. I had numerous people tell me that they really enjoyed the photographer and thought he was lots of fun. Beyond all that, the pictures were amazing. I am very picky with what I like. I did not want anything cheesy or super typical. He was able to complete my request and add some traditional stuff that I now love. If you can get him, I highly recommend it. I have recommended him to my sister and cousin for their weddings.

This rating only goes to 5? Arol definitely deserves a 10. We were thorough in our search for the perfect photographer and found him through a referral from our florist. He was versatile, creative and genuine in his work so we called him immediately. From the moment we met he has been an absolute delight to work with. Everyone from the wedding has been asking for photos. The reason? He was everywhere in the action; he caught all of the special moments just right. There were 2 professional wedding photographers in our wedding as guests - they had great things to say about Arol.

We arrived from our honeymoon at the airport with a 2 hour layover. I checked my email and noticed Arol had emailed a link to view some of the photos. We laughed and cried for 2 hours. Thank you Arol - thank you for capturing such a great moment in our lives.

AJ was absolutly wonderful to work with! I had a large wedding party and he was able to work with everyone and make the whole experience tons of fun. He took some very creative shots which were really great to participate in. The photos came out absolutly beautiful! He even went out of his way the day before the wedding to get a second photographer so that both my husband and I could get some great "getting ready" photos since we were dressing in different locations. We cannot say enough good things about AJ. He was nothing but helpful throughout the planning process despite the distance - I was in VA, while he was in TX. He made me feel completely confident that I had nothing to worry about and was willing to do whatever he could to make the day wonderful. From the moment he arrived at the church, he was creative, professional, and personable. His go-with-the flow attitude made everyone feel so comfortable and I'm quite sure my family wanted him to stay and celebrate after he was finished working! Because our wedding was a bit non-traditional, we had more time to play around with pictures, and he took some of the most amazing shots I've ever seen. We've received so many compliments on our wedding photos and my mom commented that he was able to really capture the connection between my husband and I in a way that she didn't know was possible. Arol was the photographer for our wedding in January 09. I can not tell you how happy I am we choose him. I shopped around for a long time in the San Antonio/Austin area and met with several different photographers. Arol captured our wedding from start to finish and captured the most beautiful images of our day. The editing he does is truly an art form. All our pictures were included on a cd so I could pick and choose what I wanted to print and he included an awesome photo album that looks like it costs as much as our entire photo package! He is very friendly, easy to work with, and listened to everything we had to say. We barely even knew he was there at the wedding but from our photos it looks like he was everywhere capturing everything. I believe Arol provides the most artistic beautiful pictures at half the price with twice the service. I am thankful we chose him because he gave us such great images to remember the best day of our life!

AJH photographed my wedding on May 30, 2009. He did an amazing job and I have people compliment the photos all the time. I don't even know how he got some of the shots because I don't remember seeing him! I planned my wedding long distance and Arol was so easy to communicate with and I was able to view so many of his images online. I also had a lighting concern being married in an old church and having a bridal party that covered every skin tone. He had no problems adjusting and I had too many excellent photos to choose from. The best part is that my wedding was on a Saturday and the photos were edited and online Tuesday! You will not regret hiring AJH.

Aj is nothing short of amazing! We met with him more than a year before our wedding and we never once regretted selecting him! We had such an amazing experience with AJ. He was easy going, very likable, and extremely flexible. He shot our engagement photos, bridals, and wedding for under $1800. He was willing to work with our budget and did not cut corners. The photos came out marvelous and we are so happy that we decided to go with him. Our wedding was last September and we got the images in our possession 3 weeks after our wedding date. It was a nice surprise waiting for us after our honeymoon! :) I recommend AJH to anyone looking for a great photographer.

My husband and I were referred to AJH Photography by the wedding venue that we used. Pricing was of course a great attraction, especially for what we were getting. My sister's wedding photography was a bad situation, so my mom was very concerned about the pictures this time around. I have to brag... We LOVE our pictures. Both our engagement and wedding pictures were done with AJH and both sets capture the moments and the heart of the moments. Our engagement photos were about catching the natural connection and they turned out wonderful. Many friends and family that viewed our wedding pictures, raved about them and how well he captured the moments as if they were actually attending the ceremony. Our wedding album is gorgeous and our parents have really enjoyed their albums. I would absolutely recommend AJH to anyone planning a wedding and/or looking for engagement photos. His youth, energy, creativity, and attitude make working with him so much fun. The artistic ability of someone is so vital, and Arol has an awesome talent with photography. :)

Arol did a great job at my wedding, he captured many great pictures without being intrusive and I would recommend him to anyone planning a wedding. His photography style is beautiful and I'm happy I chose him to be our photographer.

Arol did a great job at our wedding. He was professional, non obtrusive and affordable. We did not require rehearsal dinner coverage the day before our wedding so he offered to give us with free engagement prints instead. He gave us 3 large (12x18) engagement prints mounted on mat board to display at our wedding reception in substitution for the rehearsal photos. It was great because we didn't have to worry about dealing with print shops or finding time to go out and get them printed. The photos were AMAZING and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great photographer regardless of their budget.

Book this photographer, he fills up fast and you will have the most wonderful pictures. We wanted high quality pictures with a little bit of creativity and AJ was just that. Are pictures really reflect our personalities and I have no regrets in choosing AJ. He has become close friends to our circle of amigos. I thought it was so polite when he asked if he would like him to change out of his converses into nicer shoes for the reception. Of course I let him keep the converse on!

I found Arol through our wedding venue and fell in love with his work. The first meeting I knew he was going to be perfect for our wedding. his past work spoke for itself. He was very professional and always made evrey picture amazing. people still compliment all the time about my bridal pictures and my husband loved them! he was amazing when it came to capturing all the right moments. I am very happy with the photos from our wedding and I would recommend Arol to all of my friends or any couple looking for excellent service and a quality product!

My husband and I booked AJH in October 2009, for our wedding in May 2011. At our very first meeting (with Arol), we instantly felt a connection with him. After talking with him and looking at his recent work, we did not hesitate to have him capture our special day. There is no doubt that Arol is professional, polite (VERY non-pretentious!) and above all, personable. During times when intimate moments are being captured (whether it is a bridal shoot or your "first-look"), you have to be comfortable with the person behind the lens, and Arol was the perfect photographer for the job. I am very happy with the photos from our wedding and I would recommend Arol to any engaged couple looking for excellent service and a quality product in a heartbeat!

Arol exceeded all expectations of what we thought a wedding photographer was. Arol was at our wedding location before we even arrived and was definitely there even after we left. He was extremely friendly to the bridal and groom parties and knew exactly where he wanted the pictures to take place. He had great report with the family and other members involved in the wedding by politely directing people where to stand and how to position themselves for the pictures. He was never bossy or nagging, but very clear and concise on what he wanted us to do. This made us very comfortable and relaxed at a time where we were stressed and scatter-brained. At the end of the wedding he blended in as if he were a family member and would subsequently be accepted as one. We were astonished at how well the photos actually turned out and he supplied more than enough for our viewing. His pictures were gorgeous and reminded us that it was not the people involved in the wedding that made it memorable, but his photographs that will forever remind us of our wedding day.

We loved having AJ shoot our wedding! He was easy to work with and had some very creative ideas. He also shot our engagement photos, and with both occasions the turnaround for getting our photos back was so quick. We would recommend AJ to anyone getting married in the near future!

I want to say that Aj was a great photographer!! the pictures that we have from our wedding day complement every room in our house. He takes great shots and he price and packages are great as well. There are some pictures that I had on my list I wish I would of gotten but overall he is great. very friendly and very easy going, easy to work with. thank you for everything!

We knew pretty quickly after we started researching wedding photographers that we loved the look of Arol’s pictures -- the rich colors and the way he uses light is just so beautiful and beats the typical washed out wedding pictures we saw on many other photographers websites. We did engagement photos with him about 7 months before the wedding. He was very easy to work with and made us immediately feel like we were his friends. He gave us lots of great direction. The pictures were amazing! This made us very excited to work with him for our wedding! Plus, these shots were very useful as we made our save the dates and other wedding stationery. We even had several printed and framed to use as decorations at the wedding. On our wedding day, Arol did a great job of picking out great locations for our first look and post-ceremony portraits, and these are some of my favorite shots we have. He was very good at blending in with everything going on and we enjoyed our day without feeling like a photographer was following us around everywhere. We just got back our wedding photos a few weeks ago now and we are thrilled with how they came out. We have over 1000 beautiful images to choose from to make our albums! We have received lots of compliments as well from friends and family viewing our pictures, with many asking how we found such a great photographer! Hiring Arol was a great choice for our wedding.

AJ shot our wedding at the end of October and did an AMAZING job! The pictures are so awesome & our family just loves them. He has a great eye and I just love looking back at the pictures because they really captured the moment! AJ is very affordable and you really feel that you get a great bang for your buck! At the wedding he was on time, efficent, and professional. The quality of his pictures are excellent and I would definitely recommend AJ to anyone!

Arol is great. A truly talented photographer who truly loves weddings! He shot our engagements as well and everyone loved his pictures. He was even nice enough to let one of our guests bring his professional camera to the wedding and gave him a few pointers on shooting.

AJ was our chosen wedding photographer this past June. Based on his previous work and website, I really fell in love with AJ's style, and he really delivered what was advertised! Our photos blew me away as well as many of my family members and friends. I really feel he captured our personalities at the wedding and was also very discrete in his picture taking along with a friend of his that assisted. I loved this, as compared to some friends weddings I went to or my husband was in that the photographer was somewhat obnoxious and created fake poses and moments. AJ let you do your thing during the event, and captured things along the way. This was really important to me and he did a great job! AJ is also very calm and chill and you can tell he loves what he does - again all important to me!

He is the most amazing photographer austin has to offer. he shot my engagement, bridal, and wedding photos. they were all amazing and i had a huge selection of photos to look at each and every time. i had more positive complements of the photos them i could have even dreamed of.
