  Great Customer Service

  Choosing AJ was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. Photography was very important to us so we poured over numerous blogs and photographers websites before coming to the important decision.
  We couldn’t be happier with our choice. The communication before the big day was easy and prompt. Our photos are better than anything we could have hoped for. They absolutely capture the story of our wedding day perfectly. I love looking through the photos and reliving the lovely memories, he captured it just as we saw it.
  I truly recommend AJ.

  AJ is just amazing all around. His creativity is what sets him apart from other photographers. I am very happy with the photos he captured during my engagement session and can't wait to see those from our wedding day.

  Where do we begin? I have to say that it was a blessing to come across AJ Shorter Photography. We actually found AJ Shorter Photography on Instagram. We were a little skeptical because sometimes things on social media tend to not be as amazing in person. We will be the first to say that this is not the case with AJ Shorter Photography.
  
  AJ has been a pleasure from our initial consultation up until today. AJ is professional and provides EXCELLENT service. We loved that AJ was so straight forward and real with us. His work definitely speaks for itself.
  
  Our engagement session experience was AMAZING! AJ made us feel relaxed and he was so involved in the shoot. He just wasn’t taking the pictures; he was creating memories. He would pose along with us and show us how it was done. Even when we did our beach scene AJ rolled up his pants and jumped on in with us.
  
  Our wedding pictures are REMARKABLE. The personal wedding montages and blogs are so resourceful. The day we released the link to our family and friends, our phones were ringing nonstop. Everyone said that they felt as if they were reliving the wedding day after seeing the pictures from AJ. We want to thank AJ for his outstanding service and we know that we have found a photographer for life!

  AJ Shorter is the MOST amazing and humble photographer that we have ever met in our life. From the time we booked him as our photographer AJ became an instant member of our newly formed family. He never made us feel as if we were "just another wedding client," AJ made us feel special from the engagement shoot consultation all the way up to discussing fine details for the wedding. No one who has ever seen our engagement and wedding pictures EVER has anything less by STELLAR reviews. He made us feel like celebrities and the quality of his work really speaks for itself. We have never met a photographer that is so selfless for his clients and provides excellence in service. He even shot our wedding even though it was on his birthday!!!! We didn't even know until days after the honeymoon that he was working with us on HIS special day, that's how amazing he is. We have gained a photographer for life because we can NOT imagine special moments without AJ Shorter behind the lens. Invest in his work and you will not be disappointed!!!   Aj Shorter is truly amazing . He is a very special photographer with a gift that was chosen for him. My name is Bennae Robinson and I was a bride with so many concerns" but when I meant Aj shorter he assured me that everything would be just fine . My wedding planner Merlyne at Flawless events and Aj shorter went over the important details that I wanted and Aj definitely delivered . His wife peyah was there for me every step of the way even when my maid of honor forgot all about me LOL but never the less she stayed and made sure everything went well . Aj 's business partner Chad was amazing also he made sure that the guys photos were getting done and he manage to cover the cocktail hour as well. thanks Chad !   It has been our pleasure working with AJ Shorter Photography. His energy and passion is unmatched which made our wedding photography experience amazing. Arlester is a true professional and everyone agreed that his photos looked like they belonged in a wedding magazine. Even though we live in Atlanta we appreciated how smooth the wedding day photography process was from beginning to end. We are in love with the gorgeous wedding photos and would highly recommend Arlester to any bride and groom.

He delivered our engagements photo proofs the same day and wedding photo proofs by the next day with over 1500 photos to choose from for the albums.   We had the best photography experience and the photos are absolutely DIVINE!!! AJ was very professional and really captured every detail in order to tell our story. There are hundreds of photographers in North Carolina, but we wouldn’t choose any local photographers over AJ… even if he is all the way down in south Florida!! His work is AMAZING and he definitely surpassed our expectations!!!!

  OMG!!! What an incredible experience! AJ Shorter has a gift and talent of truly making your memory his passion. He loves what he does and it shows in all of his work. His creativity is beyond imaginable. The day of our engagement photo shoot, the weather was horrible in Miami, Florida. Rained pretty much all day. To say the least. AJ made it work and proceeded to provide us with an exceptional experience. Our engagement photo shoot turned out to be a complete success. Our wedding day even better. AJ and his team were amazing. Doing whatever it took to get the shot and get it right. Not only did he focus on his work of photography but also helped in making my day run as smooth as possible. Wedding day was a success. AJ also insisted that my husband and I take advantage of the day after photo shoot. We were both hesitant at first and really didn't want to have to do anything else after the wedding day. I am so happy we took his advice and did it. He accommodated us with the day and time. Taking into consideration that we'd be tired and worn out the day after our wedding. AJ really gets to know his couples so that he can provide exactly what you envision. Making every couples obits unique to them. Thank you so much AJ. We have nothing but good things to say.

During our photo shoot AJ gave quality advice and directions (without being overbearing.) His artistic approach to creating a polished final product is unparalleled. AJ was beyond professional for our engagement photo-shoot and wedding coverage. On our wedding day AJ constantly placed himself in the heart of the action to ensure he captured details, the venue, THE DRESS, Bridal party, groomsmen, the ceremony, and reception. AJ is not simply “a cameraman, he is an artist and will become your family member for the day. He provided an efficient turnaround for our final selections and slideshow.   Words can't begin to express how happy and satisfied my husband and I are with the choice we made in AJ Shorter. From our initial meeting, at a bridal expo, we were instantly attracted to AJ's humble nature and the unique quality of his work. Throughout the entire process, from our engagement session until now (days after our wedding), AJ made us feel as if our special day was HIS special day. I'm having a hard time going through my photographs and deciding what to include in my wedding album....only because EVERY photo is unique and extremely beautiful! From the facial expressions to the slightest detail, AJ captured it all.
  I also appreciate the patience he and his assistant demonstrated when my bridal party ran a little behind in getting dressed. AJ didn't make us feel as if we were holding him up, he simply retrieved some important items (my gown, accessories, bouquet) and took some amazing photos while we finished getting ready. I even appreciate the fact that he took the time to walk around the outside part of my venue to scout great spots to take photos. What really took me by surprise was the fact that DURING the reception, AJ slipped off into my bridal suite and produced an exquisite photo slideshow of all of the photographs he'd taken that day and played the slideshow for my guests during the reception (going above and beyond)!! To any bride/groom looking for a photographer that will capture EVERY moment of your wedding day and go above & beyond to ensure that you are satisfied, AJ Shorter Photography is definitely the way to go!!

  Aj did an excellent job at catch every moment at every angle! He is very professional and his work habits and ethics are 2nd to none. The quality is great and he makes your day look like a fantasy movie! I am very pleased with my decision to use him as my photographer and videographer!
