We had an absolute blast with AJ Productions on 01/02/2026. All the details of our wedding were worked out well in advance, and AJ assured us that he'd be able to make changes on the fly if need be. AJ was an amazing MC and gave context to specific songs that were requested ahead of time- something we loved. Finally, he totally matched the vibe of the room and personalized the experience to the crowd, making for the best dance party I've ever been a part of! -

If we could give more than 5 stars, we absolutely would! AJ was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very first conversation, he was professional, organized, and genuinely excited to help bring our vision to life. On the big day, he absolutely crushed it.
The music was perfect all night long—every transition was seamless, the dance floor was packed from start to finish, and AJ somehow managed to read the room better than we ever could have imagined. He balanced our must-play songs with crowd favorites effortlessly, and guests of all ages were up dancing.
He also did an amazing job with announcements and keeping the timeline flowing smoothly without ever feeling intrusive. So many of our guests have since told us how incredible AJ was and how much fun they had.

AJ was our wedding DJ and he was an absolute pro! He checked in with us often and made sure we stayed on track for everything. When mother nature decided to downpour off and on all evening (when there was no rain in the forecast) AJ moved all his equipment last minute to the backup indoor plan and acted like it didn't even phase him. We used AJ productions for our wedding on May 17, 2025-- AJ was our DJ for the ceremony and reception and did an amazing job, we highly recommend using him!! AJ from the start made us feel very comfortable and confident with using him, was great with communication, quickly responsive, helpful with suggestions and made our special day unforgettable! We added on the uplights with our package which helped transform the space. We had a few meetings with AJ to go over our wants and needs and how to use the portal. He read the room and kept people on the dance floor all night, truly great at what he does! Highly recommend using this company and AJ if you need a DJ, you won't regret it!! -

AJ is the very best!
AJ was a professional from the very beginning. He came highly recommended by our venue - they know it’s going to be a party when AJ is there! During the booking, we appreciated AJ’s transparency in his process, the services he recommended based on our needs, and pricing. He provided fun add-ons like uplighting that we knew would make our dance party look like a club! AJ’s website allowed us to plan and brainstorm all our music plus the wedding flow and timeline, and he thought of every little detail. We paid in installments, always receiving a gentle due date reminder + prompt receipt, and he sent emails every couple months with friendly reminders to start our playlists and timeline ideas, and tips and tricks to use his unique website features for great wedding ideas. AJ reached out to meet with us 2 weeks prior to our wedding to finalize all details. He showed up on wedding day looking very sharp and ready to roll! The ceremony music sounded great and was beautifully timed, and we rolled into cocktail hour seamlessly. The special dances and dinner music were great, with AJ giving updates to the crowd about dinner timing and the flow of events. His “hosting” / emcee persona is top notch and made our guests feel upbeat and organized. He transitioned into tasteful and fun songs to kick off the dance floor, with modern music mixed in, and then a full-on “young people” dance party to finish. Exactly what we wanted! We had entered our desired music into his website, but AJ responded to the mood of our crowed and immediately transitioned to a new beat if needed. We had so many compliments on our music and the vibe of the dance floor, and we credit AJ’s years of experience and his exceptional ability to be flexible and vibrant! -

We had an incredible experience working with AJ Productions for our wedding at the Gramercy Mansion. A huge shoutout goes to our DJ, Sean Grode, who made the entire night unforgettable!
AJ made the scheduling and payment process super simple and professional, and Sean followed up with a personalized pre-wedding meeting where we walked through our song selections using their online portal. He took the time to understand the kind of vibe we were going for, and it showed in every part of the night.
Sean handled our ceremony audio flawlessly. He mic'd up our officiant and timed the music transitions during the ceremony flawlessly. The volume was at a perfect level for an outdoor ceremony. Everything was seamless and stress-free. We had several South Asian music requests and sent over links and song titles ahead of time. Sean took care of everything without any issue, and the transitions between genres were smooth and energetic. -

Our wedding was 9/7/24 - From our very first zoom meeting with AJ, we knew we were in good hands. One of the first things he said to us was that he wanted our wedding day to feel like us- and that is exactly how it felt! The software that he uses for planning is very easy to use, organized and professional. We also sent him playlists on Spotify for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner & dancing, but AJ goes above and beyond just playing from a list! He helped to make our day feel personal from the ceremony to the anniversary dance! He played a huge role in helping us to surprise our parents with home videos during the parent dances. He went out of his way to coordinate with the venue. He also remembered little details like our flower girl's favorite song. During the anniversary dance, he added a personal touch to honor the couples at our wedding who have been married the longest. The top 4 couples were especially honored, shared their wedding date, and had an opportunity to share their advice with us! It was magical! After that, the night kept getting better and better. We wanted all of our guests to feel included in the music selection, so AJ started with classic favorites and ended the night with EDM. We danced on speakers, whipped our hair around, and had the time of our lives! Thank you, AJ, for going above and beyond to make our day THE BEST. -

AJ was our DJ for our wedding celebration on 9/9/23. His professionalism, knowledge of music, and personality were top tier. Music and dancing was one of the most important things to us on our wedding day and AJ absolutely understood the assignment. Our wedding was on 10.20.23 and AJ Productions and our DJ Brad Maxwell made our wedding one of the best weddings our guests had been to in a long time. (Their words not mine) We really liked AJ productions for the portal they have for their customers to use. The portal was incredibly easy to use and customize to make your day exactly what you want it to be. The portal has everything you could possibly need or want for your event, even things you might not have thought of. We initially had a different DJ assigned to our day but due to circumstances we had Brad assigned to our day. We had a meeting with Brad to see if we were ok with having him as our DJ, within the first few minutes of the meeting we knew he would be absolutely wonderful! Made us feel at ease for our day we knew he had the music part of our day handled and the music was perfectly timed out during our ceremony, and he had everyone up and dancing for our reception. All in all, for your wedding you cannot go wrong with choosing AJ Productions and his team of DJ's. -

We met AJ at our venues tasting and knew immediately by his demeanor that we had to have him for our wedding. He was so articulate and has such an attention to detail. We lost our grandfather the week before the wedding and he helped facilitate a memorial dance for him and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. It was beautiful and something we will all remember forever. He also was able to keep our party going so we could enjoy our night and get some respite and joy our family so desperately needed. We hired AJ after recommendations from two friends (one was a coworker who got married 10 years ago). AJ was so professional and great at explaining the entire process to us. We liked him immediately and we were very lucky that AJ himself was our wedding DJ. We enjoyed using his online system to sort out the music we wanted and he was great about sticking to what we wanted. He has a great personality and kept everyone on the dance floor. He even got my husbands grandfather on the dance floor (which was a miracle in itself)! After each meeting we had, I felt very confident that AJ was going to take care of us which he did! HIRE AJ FROM AJ PRODUCTIONS - I WOULD PAY TRIPLE THE AMOUNT WE PAID FOR AJ! HE IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST VENDOR AND DJ - YOU WANT TO HAVE AJ AT YOUR WEDDING AND I AM A TYPE A BRIDE! Since our wedding, we have been non-stop raving about how AJ made our wedding night one to remember! We cannot thank him enough for all the planning, preparation, and professionalism he conveyed since the moment we began working with him. We were in a bind because our DJ cancelled on us prior to AJ and he quickly swooped in to pick up the pieces. We are not the easiest couple to work with and we had a large list of requests. AJ did not bat an eye and he was overjoyed to help us make all of our entertainment dreams come true. I have been a a bridesmaid in over 20 weddings and without a doubt AJ is the best dj I have ever witnessed. From the coordination with the vendors, perfectly aligned announcements, the anniversary dance/celebration, the raffle we had him lead, the mixes he made before our wedding, the fun dances, the implementation of the glow sticks all the way to the train around our entire venue- he was a blessing! He also led a picture dash with all of our guests and ensured that we received pictures with each table then at the end surprised us by asking all the guests to get on the floor to take a group photo! He wants the day to be about you and your guests and was not over the top like some DJs can be - he was extremely fun but also professional! To say we were impressed is an understatement, we believe AJ is the reason people are raving about our wedding. AJ is a gift and are a huge blessing! I 12/10 recommend AJ as your DJ and he is so organized that you will have the time of your life working with him! He also includes your partner in the planning process and gets to know you both as a couple and will double check how to pronounce each person's names prior to introductions! AJ made our wedding night so much fun! Not only did he do an amazing job announcing all of the events throughout the night, playing our requested songs, and getting people on the dance floor, he went above and beyond to get everyone excited and even initiated some fun dance-off's when our guests were really into the dancing. We are so thankful that AJ made our night so smooth and so fun! Throughout the planning process AJ was always responsive, able to offer suggestions when we needed it, and helped us to feel at ease knowing he had everything organized and laid out. AJ and Brad were very responsive, organized, and accommodating during the booking and planning process. We decided at the very last minute to add lighting, and AJ was still able to offer dance floor lighting. We are so glad we decided to add on the dance floor lighting as it truly lifted the atmosphere and vibe of our ballroom.
Brad was everything you could ask for in a DJ. He was funny, personable, and from our first meeting, we had total confidence in his ability to MC and DJ our wedding. My wife made a very detailed playlist for each event of the night, but when some ran over (specifically cocktail hour), Brad was able to pick other songs that fit seamlessly into the playlist we had given him. He did a wonderful job and we couldn’t have asked for better!

Aj was great in every aspect. Day of he was very hands on to make sure everything went the way we planned. Glad we got to work with him on playists and take his professional advise to make our day a great time!
