Randi was absolutely AMAZING. She was so flexible with the number of times I changed my date for the trial and was so quickly responsive and easy to reach. She was a cheerleader on my side, hyping me for my big day and making sure I looked beautiful. She even calmed me down when I was in tears, because you know...wedding drama is inevitable. She brought me back to the center, I was the one getting married and thats what mattered at the end of the day. I love her skills, she made me so beautiful and it all was so natural and light. Randi also made things happen and get done so last minute due to last minute changes that we had no control of. She even did our hair last minute due to the changes that had to happen, again that we had no control of. It didn't stop her or pull her down, she made sure me and my girls were all done and stunning. Definitely recommending her to others! She was incredible and I could not have done it without her!

An absolute blessing on a chaotic day
Weddings are stressful which is why I am SO Thankful I chose to go with Randi and her crew. Y'all. Randi and Amy Jo were AMAZING. First, about two weeks before the wedding, I asked Randi if we could get started much sooner in the day than originally planned, and begin at the hotel then transfer to the venue. She accommodated all these last-minute changes so we could maintain the wedding day timeline! In the 1.5 hours we were at the hotel (starting at 8:30am) Amy Jo completed BEAUTIFUL makeup on two of our bridesmaids. I was worried about them getting makeup so early in the morning, but the makeup looked flawless all day.
After we transferred to the venue, Amy Jo was up and running again quickly (alongside Randi and her assistant) to continue! They were quick and efficient (even when we took a 30-minute midday break to complete the rehearsal). All in all, they were done ahead of schedule - between 11:15am and 2:30pm, the Ahimsa team got hair completed on all seven gals (three up-dos and four half-up-dos) and makeup on the remaining five gals. This included my bridal hair and makeup. In addition, Randi and her team also had plenty of time for hair and makeup touch-ups. This put us AHEAD of schedule and we all looked amazing. Randi and Amy Jo were also a ton of fun - Randi and I were jamming to some classics throughout the day.
My hair lasted all night (and I was a bride who spent ALL night on the dance floor), and my face still looked flawless at the end of the night - minus a few powder touch-ups to my nose after a few bouts of happy tears. I've never felt more beautiful. I was legitimately upset to have to wash my face at the end of the night. All in all, I'd recommend their team to ANY bride or special event without hesitation. Professional service and fun ladies. Thank you Amy Jo and Randi!!!!!

Wonderful wedding and bridal party hair and MUA
Randi and her team were wonderful for my wedding day hair and makeup!! She has a great location for trial hair and makeup in the center of Deep Ellum. They worked quickly and efficiently for a large bridesmaid party when we had a tight time crunch. They didn’t sacrifice quality for speed. Randi and Amy Jo were professional, reliable and fun! Ok so I was a nervous wreck about getting my hair and makeup done. I’ve had not so great experiences in the past with my hair. Randi and Amy were game changers. Randi listened to exactly what I wanted and my hair turned out better than I imagined! Amy did my makeup and it was absolutely perfect! Both of them were so much fun to work with. They kept the flow going and we never felt rushed. All of my girls were stunning and loved their hair and makeup. I would recommend them to anyone!! Randi and her assistant are amazing! Randi is so helpful and knowledgeable in helping you decide on what look will work for you on your big day. We decided on a plan for my hair for my wedding day and because my hair is very thin we decided that it needed to be pinned up and sprayed before letting it down at the last minute. The way Randi pinned it up to let the curls setup while we did my makeup got such a great reaction from my bridal party that we changed what our plan was and went with the updo she created when she wasn’t even trying! It turned out so much better than expected! My makeup was flawless and I never felt more beautiful!

Randi was so amazing! She worked so well with me even when I was all over the place and didn’t know what I was doing/wanting. I cannot say enough good things about Randi and her team. Randi was extremely sweet and accommodating, and her team was SO talented! I allowed by 8 bridesmaids, mother, and MIL choose their hair & makeup for my wedding, and they all choose different looks based on what they liked. Randi did my hair and make up as well as my sister and mom for my wedding in April 2021. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her! First, she is very responsive, and as a bride you definitely want someone who is going to get back with you timely. Randi is always in an upbeat mood! She has such a fun energy that she brings on wedding day and trial run. Randi will be cracking jokes and telling stories and jamming to your wedding day playlist - she is so much fun! We actually had so much fun getting ready that we now call her cousin Randi! She also has the skills to do anything that you want! I cannot say enough good things about Randi/Ahimsa Artistry! If you are looking for a HAMU artist who will make your natural beauty shine/enhance your look without making you look like someone you're not, this is where you need to look. I could not believe how amazing I looked - and my wedding party as well! After my HAMU was finished, my maid of honor said that I looked "just like you I would expect you to look, but better". You can't ask for more than that! My MIL kept raving about how natural yet beautiful she and the whole wedding party looked. Besides that, Randi is just the sweetest lady. Absolutely amazing!!! I was supposed to get married in April 2020 and one month before my wedding my hair and makeup stylist canceled on me. Ahimsa Artistry had just done the hair and make up for a wedding I attended. I reached out to Randi and got an immediate response back and she was able to do my wedding! It was very easy to arrange my trial and she was able to come to my house before my bridal shower! The night before my bridal shower I found out I had to reschedule my wedding. She was so supportive the next day at my trial and offered to do whatever she could to help! When I finally found a new date I reached out to her to see if she was available. She had to move some things around but was able to make my new wedding date work! Randi did an amazing job on my makeup and Tai did amazing on my hair as well! Being from out of town, finding someone to do hair and makeup at a reasonable price was something I was genuinely dreading. But from the second I contacted Randi, she made me feel special and more excited for the big day. She was easy to talk to and gave her expertise in all the right places. She was super flexible and understanding giving the craziness of the pandemic that affected the location of her services. Not only that, but on the day of, Randi was willing to add an extra person to our planned services even though we were tight on time. I would 100% recommend Randi to anyone in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and beyond!

Incredible Job and The Best Experience!!
Randi was very responsive when I first inquired about H&M services which made me super confident in having her as a vendor. Day Of, Randi and her team were absolutely amazing, they were on time and ready to start getting the bridal party ready ASAP. There were over 8 people who needed hair done along with the majority of those also requiring makeup. Randi and her team were able to get all of us ready ahead of schedule which allowed us cushion time for photos it was perfect. Randi is sweet and absolutely hilarious, I couldn’t have imagined my wedding day without her.

Randi is the sweetest and is amazing at what she does. She did my hair for my bridal photos and my wedding and she took the time to really achieve the look I was going for. I believe a lot of times it’s hard to find people offering you a service who are both talented and truly compassionate/genuine and I feel that Randi is that! On the day of my bridal photos it was pouring down rain and she let me barrow her umbrella! Plus she hilarious- book her!

I had a 1920s-themed wedding. While I gave Randi a couple of ideas, she was the one who came up with a beautiful vision for hair and makeup for me and my bridesmaids. Not only does Randi do great work, she is a super sweet person to be around! My mom and I really enjoyed getting to know her during the trial run and she was a calming presence on my wedding day (I was feeling nervous about the church rules and she spoke some great words of wisdom).
She did exactly what I wanted with my hair and makeup. I didn’t have to worry about that part of my day at all! I did a ton of dancing at my reception and the makeup still looked fresh at the end of the night.
All my bridesmaids loved the work Tai did as well. My niece/flower girl was especially excited. The entire process of getting everyone done was very smooth!
I highly recommend Randi and Tai.

Tai was so nice and patient, and she did such a wonderful job on my wedding day ! I actually didn't prepared much for the trial, I just let Tai did whatever she think looks nice on me. She did a great job, just not the style I was looking for (I am Asian, also hadn't done enough research to know the style I wanted yet, at my trial), but she was so detail, patient, so easy to communicate with, I decided to go with her. She did such wonderful jobs for the wedding day for me, my bridesmaid, and the flower girls. We all looked our best :) ! My bridesmaid asked me where did I find such a wonderful make-up artist, she have to tell her friends in the area to hire her :) (we live in Michigan).

I had Randi do my hair and makeup for my wedding July 3rd and she did an amazing job. To be honest I was unsure at first because I have extremely oily skin and I usually don’t use much makeup but Randi made me feel comfortable and reassured me she could work with my skin. I ended up getting the airbrush makeup and it was extremely light on the skin and gave me a nice coverage too! I didn’t feel cakey at all. It lasted all day and I was outside for about 1.5 hours for ceremony and pictures on this summer heat.
I also was concerned about my thin short hair but Randi was able to attach some extensions and a cathedral veil to my head. Everything worked great. Thank you Randi.

The best experience!
I had such a great experience with Randi and Jenny for my wedding hair & makeup. They were prompt for the trial run and the wedding day. They also did hair & makeup for my three bridesmaids, MOTB, and MOTG and finished ahead of schedule, but graciously waited to do touch-ups for when the photographers arrived. My hair didn't budge (in a good way!) throughout the day and I got so many compliments on my makeup. In addition to being talented, they were so much fun to be around as well. It sets a great tone for the day and I couldn't recommend them more.

Randi did my trial and wedding day makeup and I loved her!! She came to my apartment for my trial after some scheduling problems and she was extremely flexible and so patient! I had Randi Rogers as my make up artist for myself and my wedding party. I was in love with my make up! It held up for the entire day/night and I felt beautiful! Tia Tipton did all of our hair as well, and I loved how well it incorporated my style and how well it looked in our photos. We even had a cake issue and she came to the rescue. All the ladies who came to do our hair and makeup were so sweet. I have a very oily skin but Randi did her magic and my makeup stayed all day! My updo was beautiful(came out even better than when we did our trial). The only thing is that some parts came loose throughout the day so my bridesmaids had to add a bunch more bobby pins. During the reception I actually took my hair down and the curls were really pretty! I loved both looks! (up and down) All of them were very attentive and made sure that we were 100% happy with our looks.

Randi was my stylist and she was amazing! She nailed exactly what I wanted and was able to do my moms and sisters hair and makeup last minute. She’s so sweet and very personable, I would definitely book her again!

Why stress on your wedding day?
I can’t say enough good things about Ahimsa Artistry. I had planned on doing my own hair/makeup for my wedding and a few weeks before I started to panic. I couldn’t stop thinking about rushing the morning of my wedding and it not turning out the way I wanted. I started looking into several artists and immediately felt at ease after talking to Tai. She came to my home a couple of weeks before my big day and we did a dry run (this was included). I’m so glad she offers this option because I ended up not wanting to put my hair up and decided I wanted it all down. The morning of my wedding she arrived on time, got me all dolled up and her work was beyond my expectations. Besides saying “yes” having Tai was the best decision I could of made on my special day.

Although I never received the full bridal treatment from Tai Tipton (I got married before Ahimsa Artistry came to be) I have had the opportunity to be pampered by her...Hair, make up, the works! Tai is an exceptional artist who has been passionate about this industry since the day I met her (back in 2009!) The dedication she has to making people feel and look their best is something I know ALL brides look for on their wedding day! She takes your ideas, goes above and beyond & always delivers with something even more spectacular then originally planned! Shes also one of the sweetest humans around too so, Whats not to love?!
I highly recommend Ahimsa Artistry for all your wedding needs!

Tai and Amy Jo we’re such a blessing to me on my wedding day in Oct 2016. Tai did my hair and Amy Jo did make up, together they were a great team! A few years later I booked Tai for my daughter’s hair and make up for a dance. This was the first time for her to have a “full face” and I have to say Tai did a fantastic job enhancing her beauty while keeping it age appropriate. Thank you to both Tai and Amy Jo, I will definitely continue to recommend you both and book you for all future events!

Randi was simply the best on my wedding day. I looked and felt beautiful! Randi knew exactly what I wanted and I was so glad we met and spoke before and I booked her for a trial! I was SO excited and it took a lot of the weight off my shoulders knowing I was in great hands! I decided to do lashes and airbrush and Randi went above and beyond! She exceeded my expectations and I am so glad I went with her. She was extremely professional and reassuring while at the same time making things fun! She is the coolest! I highly recommend her and her team for your special day!

Her vision went beyond what I was expecting, leaving not only wonderful memories of my wedding day, but pleasure every time I look at my wedding photos and see how classic & beautiful her hair and makeup made me on my wedding day. Randi Rogers is AMAZING at what she does! She has the experience and a gift! She did my makeup and hair for a professional photograph I was scheduled for. I put every bit of confidence in her to "make me beautiful"! She knew exactly what the photographer would want, she was on time, great attitude and willing to listen to my concerns. The photos came out really well and the photographer even commented on what a great job she did. Whether it's wedding or professional, I highly recommend her <3

Randi was an absolute dream to work with! She did my hair/makeup as a trial run for my bridal portraits. After she was done, she stayed with me to make sure my hair/makeup was in place (since it was a pretty humid day in Dallas). She absolutely did not have to do that, which made me so much more appreciative of her. On my actual wedding day, she delivered above and beyond what I could have asked for. She is not only an amazing makeup/hair artist, but she is an absolutely amazing person to be around!

Tai did a fantastic job with my hair and makeup for my wedding! I'm not much of a makeup person, so I wasn't really sure what I wanted, but Tai made me feel beautiful while allowing me to still feel like myself. My only request for my hair was for it to be up. She took that and ran with it. Tai gave me a beautiful, one of a kind updo, that I'm sure no one could recreate. All in all, Tai made me feel like a more beautiful version of myself on the most special day of my life!

Incredible makeup from Amy Duncan at Ahimsa. She's got a great eye, and even managed to tame my seriously crazy brows. Spent time with me consulting, and then created a really special look that fit my event perfectly. 5 stars, would definitely use again

AmyJo did my hair and make-up for the first time 6 years ago when she lived in Florida and she did an amazing job. It was my first time ever getting my hair and make up done for any special occasion but I was hooked. Since then AmyJo moved back home to Texas so I was forced to use others when I needed hair and make up services but no one has ever made me look as beautiful as AmyJo. When I got married 2/25/17, I knew I had to get AmyJo down to Florida to do the makeup for me and my bridal party. I flew her down to Tampa and as usual she did not disappoint! AmyJo has a special gift and a keen eye that other make up artist do not. She adds just the right touch to really make your natural features stand out. She knows exactly how to enhance what needs to be enhanced and cover what you want to be covered. AmyJo also uses some of the best products out on the market with the an array of brushes to add just the right touch. AmyJo have me and my bridal party the best hair and makeup for my special day. We looked amazing and our pictures came out spectacular because of her work! I highly suggest Ahimsa Artistry for your special day, I promise she will Not disappoint!!

Randi has the most contagious positive energy! She is a perfectionist while also being so laid back. She listens to you thoroughly until she completely gets what you want. She is so patient and hilarious! My only critique is that I wish she was more stern when a bridesmaid, that was way too picky and pushy, cut into my time as the bride and messed up he schedule. It wasn't Randi's fault. I just wasn't watching the clock until I was running behind.
